I recent moved but left my pride and joy behind, until I had a suitable place to park it. I did a lot of research to find a carrier that would ship my Camaro safely, quickly and economically. Mostly I wanted a carrier that would take care of it. I found Ship a Car Direct, and after speaking to them, decided to contract with them for shipment. They did an excellent job. The shipping was quick, on budget, and most importantly done with no damage to my car. Communication was dead on, not too much, and not too little. The car arrived on time, in excellent condition. I'd recommend them to anyone. If you are concerned about shipping your pride and joy, this is the company you want to use. No disappointment here.

I relocated from one state to another and needed to ship my car. Ship a Car Direct gave me a good quote. Also, the CSR was very helpful in working out the date with us. We were also buying a home so we didn't want to ship the car too early when we would get there. Also, we wanted to make sure the car was picked up because we were leaving California. I purchased a truck in Texas, through a dealer, that needed to be shipped because I live in California. I didn’t have the time in my schedule to get out, pick it up and drive it home. It might take three days to take it home. I waited three or four weeks trying to get the truck to get shipped through the dealer's shipper and their shipper couldn’t find someone to do it. It became a hassle. So I went online, looked at some reviews and the reviews for Ship a Car Direct were all great. I contacted them and away it went. They were real good and quick at getting on the truck and getting it out here right about the same price that they had quoted me.

Normally you would think best price would have worst service and best service would be highest price but wow does Ship a Car Direct break that mold. uShip wanted 1300 to ship my car and all of the companies on there seemed extremely shady. Scott, my contact person, for Ship a Car Direct was great. He told me upfront exactly how the business works and laid to rest all concerns I had. Everything he told me came true, there was no hidden fees or issues with the shipper unlike my previous experience. I thought issues were just part of the business when dealing with shipping cars across state lines. Will definitely use them again!

I’m in the military and I was moving from North Carolina to California so I needed my extra car shipped. It was difficult trying to find somebody but only because I was in a remote spot and moving to a remote spot. So it took a little bit longer than originally anticipated. The person I worked with at Ship a Car took some of the fee that he charges and threw it in to entice shippers, and it worked. He was able to get somebody to ship the car. It was fantastic service.

We had a great experience with this moving company. We'd never used this type of service before, but the customer service reps made everything really easy. The driver showed up when he said he would -- on the front and back ends -- and there was no hassle. The quote was exactly what we paid for. Ship a Car Direct was very helpful and knowledgeable customer experience. We never shipped a car before let alone across the country and they made it very simple. Only issue was a little lack of communication with the carrier we used, but they were on time and the car arrived without damage.

I got officially relocated from Boston to Dallas. I used Ship a Car Direct's online quote calculator and their rate was what I was looking for. I contacted one of their agents and asked them to transport the car. I had a few queries regarding the transport and she gave me all the clarifications so that was pretty nice. Whenever I asked anything, she explained it to me really well. I also contacted them via email and that went fine, too. The delivery of the car was scheduled on-time but due to the rain that was really bad in Dallas, it got delayed for three days. It was something natural though. The car was picked up on time. The driver wasn't sure when he could get to Georgia depending on traffic. We told the receiver the next day. Surprisingly he called that night and delivered our cars to Georgia that night at 1030 pm. He was very very nice and informative. We would recommend him and use him again. They were honest, telling me that will take some days to find a carrier for the Texas pick up and that they will do their best to receive the car as soon as possible. I bought a car in Arizona, live in Washington and didn’t want to drive it. I like Ship a Car Direct's advertising and they seem honest when I spoke to them on the phone, so I used them. I was given a fair quote which is comparable to others. It was hard to get a hold of the representative for a couple of times because of a communication breakdown but once we got it straightened out, I got a carrier. There was a delay on the carrier so we waited here for two days for him which was okay because the whole thing went ahead of schedule. Other than that, it was fine. I’ve shipped with other shippers and it had not been smooth. There were a lot of hiccups, delays and lots of other things, so I was grateful that Ship a Car Direct got it done quickly and that was the best part.

I search the web looking for a company to ship my daughter's from California to New York. I had never done it before. The carrier was there on time for the pick-up (although my daughter wasn't), not only waited for my her but return several hours later to get the car. This company was professional and delivered the service they claimed at the cost they quoted for my vehicle transport with no additional hidden fees or last minute delivery charges from the carrier service. He's got a good group of guys that he uses. I referred Scott to another lawyer in my office, as a matter of fact.

I moved to Texas for work and it was cheaper for me to fly down than to drive at that particular time so I decided to ship my vehicle later. I like that I didn't have to sit and call everyone to find out the quote because of Ship a Car's online quote. I was happy with having interacted with the customer service rep. He was very professional and it didn't matter how many questions I asked him. He's always calm and collected about it, and then answered me to the best of his knowledge. The driver didn't speak a lot of English and we had some communication issues. It was raining when they moved my truck so it was soaking wet and took a while for it to be unloaded from the trailer. I inspected the truck afterwards and the emergency brake cable had been broken. It was not all their fault. But I've had to replace it out of my own money which I'm completely fine with.

I moved back to North Carolina from California after a family emergency in the fall on last year. I needed to get my car back to North Carolina but didn't really know how to arrange the time to drive it back because of some new responsibilities I had taken on due to the death in our family. Ship a Car had good scores on some of the places I looked and although not the cheapest price, it's a real price. I've felt like Scott, the rep, bent over backwards for me. It took a while but I was kept informed during every couple of days when I was trying to find the transport. The guy who did the delivery was very accommodating and a great guy. We met at some place that was easy for him to get his truck in and out, and I felt very confident leaving the car within his possession. I would definitely go straight to them in case I need to ship a car again.

I’ve read some reviews from other people shipping cars and they said the car was delivered clean. Maybe they were shipping in containers that were closed versus a car on the outside of the carrier. I happen to be a clean freak and the car was filthy dirty on the outside because of the elements.

I did not have a great idea of what to expect price-wise, but I guess this was a bit less expensive than I thought it would be (for whatever that is worth).
