I live in New York and then I have to move to some other place so I needed my car shipped. I chose Ship a Car Direct based on their popularity. I was going through a couple of forums and then I saw their good feedback. The quote that they gave me was okay compared to the others. It was to the right amount.

I purchased a car from my sister in California and needed to decide how to get it home to Ohio. I, briefly, considered flying out and driving it home. After deciding I didn't want to take that risk for several reasons, I started to research car shippers. Ship-a-Car Direct had several great reviews so I went to their website, and others, to get quotes. I pretty much knew immediately I would be going with Ship-a-Car Direct. The speed of their responses and the friendly nature of their people surpassed my hopes. I had never shipped a car before and was apprehensive, to say the least. Emily contacted me with, not only, a surprisingly reasonable quote but answers to questions I hadn't even thought of yet. She stayed in contact with me throughout the process and answered, or quickly returned every call I made to her. I was assigned a shipper within minutes of placing my order.

I had a car in California that I wanted in New Jersey so I did quite a bit of online research and I like the price quote and the reviews for Ship a Car Direct, so I chose to go with them. It was also nice and convenient to obtain a price range without having to provide any personal information. Their customer service representative emailed me quite a few times in the beginning and let me know when the pick-up was ready. And then the car was delivered as scheduled and the driver was friendly and helpful. Overall, the service they provided was satisfactory.

I was really skeptical of all of the other sites that I looked at, but Ship a Car Direct not only had excellent reviews from other customers, they also had really helpful videos that answered almost all of my questions. It was also nice to have a customer service representative assigned to me from my quote all the way to delivery. A few times it was difficult to directly get a hold of him by phone, but overall he was great at sending periodic updates and helpful tips on how to deal with the actual carrier. When my vehicle arrived it was dirty (because it had traveled across the country in an open carrier) but not damaged and the pick up was easier with those tips in mind.

Because I found a job in PA, so I need to ship my car from IN to my future working place in PA. I searched in the web that I found Ship A Car Direct are recommended by many people and the service star level is almost 5. So I decided to choose this company for shipping my car. Certainly once I put my request on the internet, I received a lot calls and emails from many other companies, showing their quotations. Frankly speaking, the quotation by Ship A Car Direct is the best (all cost is 525 from IN to PA). Because my suggested date of picking up is on the weekend (Feb. 28), so it's a little late for picking my car on March 1 once they ensured a carrier for me. I understand that sometimes it's not possible for all punctual picking up your cars due to some reasons. But the staff at Ship A Car Direct will try their best to find a carrier in the coming days.

Pickup and delivery were on time as scheduled. Driver was courteous and responsible. All went well and we would definitely use them again in the future.

My Acura TSX was picked up a day later than estimated but it was dropped off in LA in just 3 days after pick-up with no problems at all. I shipped a car before and had paid all the money upfront, and the transport company was several days late in the delivery. In Ship a Car's case, they asked for a down payment and if I was completely satisfied, then I pay the transport company driver. So I wasn't exposed until I had the car delivered to my satisfaction and then I would pay the balance upon delivery and I liked that. The other thing I liked was they kept it on one transport trailer all the way through. The previous one I had probably changed three different transport trucks, which I wasn’t too pleased about. So I was very satisfied with Ship a Car's service.

In fact, if my son ever needs to move, I would very well go back to Ship a Car Direct to do the moving cause I particularly like the fact that they were brokers and found the best car shipper for me rather than me having to go try to do internet searches and find a particular shipper directly. When I spoke to the coordinator of Ship a Car, she did alert me that they work with certain groups and there may be a slight difference from what they quoted me but the difference would be at most $50. I knew that was to be expected but still the quote was far less than what any of the other quotes were.

My mom was moving to California and I needed to arrange for her car to be shipped. I first hired a cheaper auto transport company and they were very unprofessional. They told me they might be there on a Friday at around 6:00. I said, "Well, call me and let me know." Then they called me at 10:45 on a Friday night and the guy said, "I'm here." I'm like, "Okay. Where?" And he was a half hour away and wanted me to drive to him. But I said, "No. I'm not driving a half hour away. You come to where I am." And then he started swearing at me. The guy who picked up the car was very nice and the car arrived in good shape so we're happy. The whole experience was very easy.

I had an excellent time with Ship a Car Direct. I called because I had no idea how I was going to ship my new car I bought in California, all the way to Michigan. Stefan walked me through the whole process, assured me everything was going to be ok and I could get it in a reasonable amount of time. It was so fast, they picked it up that week. I said to drop it off as soon as possible and it came three days sooner than the estimated ship date. The car was dirty as it had to travel through snow and was on an opened carrier, but there was nothing wrong with it at all, not a scratch. Great people, great price and very fast. I called them, spoke to Stefan who was very helpful and explained everything, then soon after the details were worked out I got a call from the transporter RedLine and they gave me exact times for pickup and delivery. Car arrived at location in great shape and on time.... Great, hassle free experience.

I was very nervous of the car being shipped to my daughter. It had to go a certain way because she's 26 and there wasn't a lot of room for error but it really went well.

Once car was assigned to a driver it arrived very quickly without any incidences (other than being dirty, but what would you expect shipping across country in the middle of winter)!

Professional, efficient and knowledgeable team. Eric answered my initial inquiry within 20" online. A cross country transport is a big deal, but Eric and his group were excellent. He got us set up within 1 day and the car was moved door to door (literally) in 1 week. Crazy great. Received regular touch points from Eric and transport company.
