I typically do not enjoy the process of finding and working with movers. When I learned that my husband and I would need to ship our car halfway across the country shortly before we were scheduled to move, I felt stressed. Not wanting to be taken advantage of, I looked to the BBB for a recommendation and found Ship-A-Car Direct.

Auto transport from TX to NC - Process went smooth from quote to drop off. All questions were answered by SHIP A CAR DIRECT before and after order was placed and communication with the driver of the transport truck was professional and timely. Price was also best in comparison to many other transport companies. I highly recommend SHIP A CAR DIRECT to anyone. When I need such service again, will for sure use them in the future.

I needed to ship a car from California to Houston. I read online reviews and heard that Matt, one of their reps, was helpful and reliable. He called me and let me know what to expect and how it works. Once I got a firm date, I let them know and they promised me within a two-day range instead of an exact date. Matt called up to make sure I've been contacted by one of the people picking up the car. He also gave me some easy information in case there were issues I need to let him know of.

I was very pleased with Ship A Car Direct. They responded promptly to my request for a quote. They sent along all company info. Ship A Car Direct answered all my questions and kept me up to date on pick-up times/days and delivery. They sent me confirmation emails and many contact names and numbers should I ever have additional questions. Excellent customer service. Easy process!

I needed my car to be shipped from Maryland to Texas as I got a job there and I didn’t feel like taking that drive. I was very nervous about the entire process, and so I googled the top-rated shipping car companies and the website that I landed on showed that Ship a Car Direct was number one. They had awesome reviews on the website that’s why I went with them. The quote I got was good. I paid like $825 but it was reasonable. I was willing to pay high just because they are a very reliable company. I was getting offers for like $500 but they didn’t have the best reviews. I’d rather spend a little bit more so that my car’s gonna get here.

Ship a Car Direct's quote was competitive. I looked for somebody based on reviews that have more competent quality. I had an enormous amount of interaction with their rep because I was very anxious about getting my car here on time and in one piece. The only issue I had, which I think was unavoidable, was I moved on Memorial Weekend and they were unable to get a car-carrying company to pick up my car. I had to leave my car with a friend. We moved on a Memorial Day Monday, and they came and got my car on Tuesday. So that was a small inconvenience but other than that, everything really worked out very well. My car came to me about a week later in Las Vegas in pristine condition.

I know that in the shipping business a lot of people are not trustworthy so I did the research to make sure and Ship a Car Direct had an A on major sites like the Better Business Bureau. I got a fair price and if I got lower than that, then that’s when I'd get shifty people and shady things. I spoke with one or two people at the most, but the person who handled most of it with me was Gabby. She was very courteous and did a wonderful job. She made sure to follow up with emails and phone calls as needed until it was put to rest, so to speak.

I was moving out of state, so I had to bring my car with me. I went on Ship a Car Direct's website and I put in a quote and they gave me a price. I was willing to go with that, but in the end, they had me complete a survey and that allowed me to get a refund of $30, so that was great. The third party kept in contact with me. They're like the middle man and so they stayed in touch with me throughout those two weeks until the person came up to pick up my car. The person who came and picked up and dropped off my car was very much on time, if not early. It was very smooth. I didn't have any problems with anything or any communication. It was professionally executed.

My father passed away and so he gave me his car. I needed it to be shipped to me. I went on the internet and Ship a Car Direct had a 5-star rating, so that was who I picked. I contacted their rep and chatted with her on the phone. She seemed very friendly and nice so I decided to go that way. We went on the date and it was the exact one that she said the car was gonna be shipped.

My mom had a car that she no longer planned to use so I needed to ship it back to New York. Ship a Car Direct seemed to have the best reputation among the transport companies I searched online. The quote I was given was good. Angela was great and a very good communicator. It took Ship a Car Direct longer than we had anticipated to get a carrier and she researched and discovered that there was a lot of demand at more or less the same price. She convinced me that we should increase the price that was offered to the carrier and that a portion of that increase we should split at 50/50 and it came out of the fee that Ship a Car Direct was going to get. That seemed like a great approach that they took.

I needed to have my little Camry shipped to my son in Santa Cruz. I chose Ship a Car Direct to have the vehicle shipped because from my research, they were highly rated for #1. They had the number to call and I just had them plug it in for me. And when I called, the person I talked to, Bruce, was wonderful and never ever, ever pushy. I had to ship my car from WA to TX. I called Matt. My car was picked up in WA on time as promised. After my car was picked up, I had to change the delivery address in TX. Again, I called Matt. The car was delivered to the new address in TX on time as promised originally (that is, the delivery was still on time even when the delivery address was changed). My wife and I were moving from Charleston, South Carolina to Astoria, Oregon. We didn't want to drive two vehicles across so we drove with my truck and we had hers shipped through Ship a Car Direct. We were moving so we needed our vehicle shipped. The price Ship a Car Direct quoted me was reasonable but I also based my decision to get their service base on what I had read and heard about them. Their customer service reps have all been great. I've received email address, tips on what to do and what not to do. My rep reached out to me on multiple occasions. I really appreciated all that Ship a Car Direct did and their support in making a pretty stressful process less stressful. However, it's unfortunate because they contract out. All the change was taken out of my car and center console was rummaged through. That really didn’t have to do with them. It’s just the nature of sending it to different people along the way.

The user videos provided by Ship A Car Direct and the reviews by former customers were also quite helpful. The carrier picked up the vehicle in Grand Rapids, MI on Saturday and delivered it to Albuquerque, NM on Monday; much sooner than I expected. The car was delivered without damage, only a little dirty because the carrier had to drive through significant rain in route. The driver went so far as to put some items from the vehicle into his cab so that they were protected from theft or wind damage. I am very satisfied with the entire transport process and would recommend Ship a Car Direct car shipping to anyone needing a car transported.

From quote to pickup to delivery, the team of Scott and Umid (UZ transport) was professional and responsive. Cars delivered on time with no damage. Price was competitive and beat 5 other "direct" quotes. Only improvement is to remain in touch after the pickup is scheduled and check in via a phone call. I found out that, apparently in this part of the industry, it's a horror story that there were more disturbing things about cars being mishandled and amounts of money being demanded at the receipt point. I went to the BBB site and found out about Ship a Car. I spoke to them then started looking at the comments which were uniformly favorable.

When I reached out to contact them, the gentleman that I spoke with was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and explained to me the whole process, so I felt comfortable. Having never done it before, I wasn't sure what the process was and what to expect. The quote I got from them was very fair and competitive given what I had seen was out there. I knew that it was fluid because of the season and the busyness. It was a little bit more than if I had gone down and driven it back, but it probably flushed to be about the same and it saved the car miles as well as wear and tear.

I requested to ship my car between 4/25/16 to 4/29/16 because my flight to Phoenix was on 4/30/16. I had 10 days between the date that I placed the order to the first day - my car was available for shipment.

Matt was the delivery manager and was very professional and quick to respond by email or phone. Worst customer service and poor communication and do not keep up with business agreement made. I had booked my car to be picked up during the 3 day time period per their business norms from May 26-28, no one called or showed up to pick the car. Even when we tried to reach the company on May 28th nobody even answered our call so we were clueless if our car would ever be picked and if or when I can expect a driver to pick it up. Poor service, if can't arrange for transport at least a proper communication during that window period would be of help. This caused the most inconvenience during our relocation and extra expense to find a transporter for our car at last moment as we did not know where to leave our car as we move out of the state.
