When I needed to ship my vehicle, I went online and used Ship a Car Direct's quote calculator. Then they sent me an email. The price was fair and it was 100% accurate compared to the final cost. They found a truck driver pretty fast which is much better than I expected. Everything went out pretty well and I would recommend Ship a Car Direct.

I was moving out of state and I just had my car, so I had a slight RD set up and I didn't want to drive. I saw that Ship a Car Direct had really good reviews on the Better Business Bureau and other reviews that I looked at and their price was more competitive. I felt good about their quote and that's exactly what their pricing ended up being. I spoke on the phone with my sales person Matt and I told him my earliest date that the car could be received had changed. He responded within two hours and was very reassuring that it would be fine. I decided three weeks before I was moving that I was gonna use Ship a Car Direct. I got an email from them at least once a week saying it wasn't unusual if I haven't had a carrier assigned. So it was nice to at least have the reassurance that I wasn't completely forgotten about even though it was three weeks of waiting. The whole experience was a lot easier than I expected.

I looked at the internet reviews and it felt that Ship a Car Direct was the best one when I was moving from East Coast to West Coast for a new job. The quote they sent me was pretty good compared to the other prices on the internet. Everything has been good and smooth. I even asked some receipt from their customer service and they give it to me the next day, so it’s pretty quick.

So overall it was a really good experience.

David was very helpful and when he was not available by phone I was able to call the 24 hour help desk and they worked hard to answer any question I had. From start to finish it was a positive experience thus worth paying a little extra.

When I called and left a message, the guy from customer service called back. I also emailed once or twice and got prompt answers. He told me that the car would be picked up on a particular day, and it was. It was also delivered when the driver said it would be. Everything went very smoothly.

The original carrier I went with charged me an upfront fee and then told me that the price I agreed to, which they gave to me based on where the vehicle was being shipped, was too low and I was stupid to think someone would do the job for the price! Mind you that price was given to me by the broker. They also refused to respond to my calls and emails until I next them a certified letter, and fax stating I was canceling my order. I canceled with them and went with Ship a Car Direct. Bruce was great. He responded to my questions and informed me how the process works. He was able to coordinate my pick up a day early as I needed and then the driver was able to get the truck to my new house a day earlier than originally scheduled. It was a great experience. I wish the move of my personal belongings for my move from CA to AZ was this easy.

He wasn't overly personable too. They gave me a free quote and it did change because the company was able to get my car here much more quickly but I was able to get multiple quotes depending upon where I wanted it to be delivered to. They ended up getting my vehicle from Pennsylvania to California in four days which was amazing. My car was in good shape when it arrived and nothing was missing from it.

Please don't choose this company. My recent car shipping experience with Ship A Car Direct was very unsatisfactory. The communication with this company was the main problem I had. My car was picked up on a Wednesday in Michigan and was due to arrive in San Diego in about 7 days. One week later I received another call asking to pick up my car again (?) in Michigan. When I called to find out what was going on, David would be nice on the phone and never return my phone calls. I received emails from their marketing dept asking if I was satisfied with the delivery but the car didn't get delivered! No one would call me back until we started calling the trucker who accidentally called me to pick up my car in Michigan. We actually were ready to call and file a stolen car police report. So, in short, if you want to sit on pins and needles with no communication and have nights with no sleep because of worry, then this is your company.

Shipped my car from California to Maryland. Everything went very well and we got the car delivered 1 day later than the driver estimated. Everyone in the process was very helpful and very professional. I would recommend to anyone who needs this kind of service. One suggestion to the driver is that I feel it will be better if the driver can send out the pickup notice the day before picking the car for a 1-2 hours time window. 40 minutes notice prior to the pickup is a little bit too short. If I could give this company a 0 out of 5 or a negative score, I would. I worked with Eric, and it was an absolute nightmare. I called to ask about shipping a vehicle from Los Angeles to Minnesota. The prices were good and seemed legit, so I went with them. Worst mistake of my life. This resulted in me needing to call them for everything, zero useful communication from them to me unless I pestered them. I received spam emails from my agent about shipping a car, these had zero useful information. My card was "accidentally" charged after I switched carriers due to a "computer error", and then my credit card number was also stolen after they saved it in their system. A strange coincidence but no proof that it was actually this company so benefit of the doubt here, still a terrible experience.
