I was shipping a car to my daughter at college in Oregon from Colorado and Ship a Car Direct was the only one that could find somebody for me to do it. Then when I said that I wouldn't pay that amount, the price suddenly came down $100. However, I'm happy with the experience.

But other than that, Emily took care of all that and Dale was helpful was well. Additionally, I didn't expect that I would get notifications and updates about where my car was. But the driver was spot on. He called me before he came, like a day before - it was the same thing with the delivery too. It was quick as well and that was something that I liked. I would definitely recommend Ship A Car Direct.

My mom was moving to California and I needed to arrange for her car to be shipped. I first hired a cheaper auto transport company and they were very unprofessional. They told me they might be there on a Friday at around 6:00. I said, "Well, call me and let me know." Then they called me at 10:45 on a Friday night and the guy said, "I'm here." I'm like, "Okay. Where?" And he was a half hour away and wanted me to drive to him. But I said, "No. I'm not driving a half hour away. You come to where I am." And then he started swearing at me. So I was like, "Oh, forget it." Then I said, "Well, maybe I'll pay a little bit more for Ship a Car." The quote Ship a Car gave was a little bit higher than some other people but it had good reviews so I used them. The customer service representative was really good. The guy who picked up the car was very nice and the car arrived in good shape so we're happy. The whole experience was very easy.

He was very prompt in his response and provided weekly updates on carrier assignment. The carrier assigned was NW Express Trucking and their service was satisfactory. The driver was prompt in answering calls and gave me an advance notice before delivery. There were no dents on the car. Overall, I'm satisfied with the whole process.

I had an excellent time with Ship a Car Direct. I called because I had no idea how I was going to ship my new car I bought in California, all the way to Michigan. Stefan walked me through the whole process, assured me everything was going to be ok and I could get it in a reasonable amount of time. It was so fast, they picked it up that week. I said to drop it off as soon as possible and it came three days sooner than the estimated ship date. The car was dirty as it had to travel through snow and was on an opened carrier, but there was nothing wrong with it at all, not a scratch. Great people, great price and very fast. I would use them over and over again.

I used this company last week to transport my car from Texas to Miami. It was my first time using this kind of services so I read a lot of reviews and did my homework. After searching and searching I found out that Ship a Car Direct had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. Since the first day the representative was honest and communicative. My call was on Friday and by Monday my car was being picked up and like the representative said; there were not more hidden fees. He also mentioned that my car was going to be delivered on Friday and as he said, I got my car that day without a problem. Great service and great customer service.

Ship a Car Direct was fantastic. Super prompt, gave me a quote right away. I got assigned to Star One Transport, a driver named Andy. He was great, kept me updated the entire trip and even waited for my parents to pick up the car as they were running very late getting home to load it onto the truck. It arrived dirty but only because the delivery came on the heels of a huge northeast snow storm. Andy took extra care getting my car off the truck and was extremely helpful. I requested a quote Wednesday afternoon and had a carrier the next morning. The car arrived the following Monday in great condition. Will definitely use again if I need to transport my car.

And when my car was delivered to my home, I got in my car and there was a $5 bill in a cup holder. And obviously, either the transporters or the repair people found that $5. If the repair people found it and put it in a cup holder, it stayed there for transportation. And I thought that was very honest. Simply put, I had zero issues with transporting my car.

Their online quote calculator was accurate and in the same ballpark as what other people are quoting. I called them up initially to talk about the price, and they were pretty open about their policies and explained the situation very well to me. The online calculator was accurate and fair. I was expecting something close to the $900's, but it came out to be right in the middle. The broker's fee is separate. It's $225 and then $600 for the carrier, but it's fair because I have no idea how to contact the carrier myself and help them organize their pickups. They're professional and able to resolve business successfully. Overall, the experience was quick, easy and they were informative. If I had to ship another car, I'd go through Ship a Car again even though I'd pay extra to have their broker fee. I'd definitely recommend them.

They asked me my preferred pickup date and picked up my car. They said it would take 4-7 business days, but it arrived in three or four days. Service was good.

The quote was based on the distance and the type of truck – open shipping or enclosed shipping. Afterward, I contacted them to ask about the timing and I was given a range. The transport was also good, except that the driver wiped the car and I got a couple of scratches. They should make it a policy that the shipping company should not wipe the cars when they're trying to deliver because sometimes if they wipe the cars there's a possibility of scratching the paint. It's a good gesture on them to keep the car clean, but it will be more effective if they didn't do that. Overall, however, it was great dealing with Ship a Car Direct.

They gave me quote which was fine with me -- a couple of hundred bucks more, but I was looking for something that I didn't have to worry about. I was looking for something I could say, "That's what it's going to cost. No more, no less." I'd gotten quotes from a couple other places as well and the other ones weren't solid so I went with Ship a Car Direct. The only issue I had with the whole service was that there were some delays because of the weather, because of the flooding in the mid-west at the time I wanted to go. And getting the truck available cost us about a week later than I wanted to ship. But it all worked out in the end and Ship a Car Direct did what they say they were going to do.

The representative, David, was really helpful. He is tough to get a hold of but I’d leave a voicemail and he’d either respond via email or call me back. When I had questions, they responded. I called them on short notice, but they kept on top of it. They delivered within the window that they said they would and delivered my vehicle the day after I got to the new location. It went off without a hitch. They did quite well and exceeded my expectations.

I've never transported a vehicle before. There's a lot of horror stories online and how some of the transporters are not as good as others. I was shipping a pretty high-end vehicle so I was concerned about having it show up and be in the right condition. David from Ship a Car Direct was super helpful. He gave me the overview of how it all works and how they select their transporters and gave me comfort in the process. They were very helpful and very easy to work with. They set me up with a great transporter. My car got picked up and got delivered on time.

I spoke with Tom from customer service and he's very informative, provided me everything I needed to make a decision and to get the shipment done without any major problems. I and my wife were moving to L.A. and we wanted to ship our car to Arizona and then we can drive from there. So we got our car shipped from Boston to Phoenix through Ship a Car Direct. I googled and looked at a bunch of different car shipping websites and Ship a Car Direct had awesome reviews. The quote seemed fair and was right in the same ballpark as the two other quotes from other auto transports. Theirs was a $100 more expensive but because of the reviews I was like, “Well, I'll just go with them. I feel better about it.” And I did. All my interactions with them leading up to the shipment were good. Furthermore, the driver even though he's not directly affiliated with them was pleasant and friendly. Once the car got delivered, they were cool about letting me know that everything was all set and that it was good to go. It was a very smooth transition. It was an easy, fast and simple experience.
