I shipped cars six times in the past, and I would say Sherpa has been the best experience I've had. My daughter had moved to the East Coast, and her car was still in California and we needed to get it back. I decided to use Sherpa due to its online reviews. There was a kind of consumer report that I found that rated them high. Working with them was extremely easy. I filled out an online application, and I had a call within two minutes. Everything was arranged. It went exactly as scheduled and got no problems on either end. The vehicle arrived in good condition.

I randomly looked online and Sherpa had decent reviews. I had a good experience with their reps. The transport took a little over a week, which was a little bit long because it was in between Thanksgiving but it was within the expected amount of time. My car's condition was what I expected when it arrived.

The driver got sick and was not going to be able to make the move date. Sherpa came through and got a drive to make the pick-up date and that driver got here a day early, everything worked out great. Good Job.

I contacted Sherpa on a Thursday morning to transport my VW Golf from Grenada California to Plano Texas Sherpa arranged a pickup the next day on Friday afternoon, and the car was delivered in Plano Texas (about 2100 miles away) on the following Monday afternoon. The transport driver was professional and courteous. He thoroughly and fairly documented minor road chip damage, and provided an emailed bill of lading with a link to photographs of the vehicle on pickup. The price was as quoted. Good communication during the process, and best of all no issues or problems. Recommend.

I would like to say thank you to all involved in the transportation contract of moving my mom's car from Vegas to Virginia. The communication with Jessie was clear and detailed. Getting the car picked up went quick and the delivery was flawless. I would be glad to use Sherpa services again and recommend them to a friend.

My 2001 Lexus was in Illinois and I needed it shipped to North Carolina. I looked up around two transport companies before choosing Sherpa Auto Transport and Sherpa said they would give me $100 back on the gift card. After the $100 gift card, they were also the cheapest and the service people were very friendly and nice, so I didn’t have a reason to go any further. Everything was pretty much like the customer service reps said. The transport driver actually picked up a bit earlier and delivered on time. He called me before he picked up the vehicle and told me what time he would be there that same day, which was good.

I Googled the best auto transport company, and Sherpa appeared to be the best one. And when I did this little thing, it said that they were the perfect match for me to use. Their customer service reps were patient and they helped me a lot. The quote was pretty accurate, and the car got here faster than the timeframe that they said. The transport guy was pretty easy to deal with. I would recommend Sherpa to other people.

Fast and reliable service. I am very satisfied with the service I got. Customer service representative was very helpful and the driver was punctual. I received my vehicle as I have them. It's a little pricey but it's worth it.

I was shipping my car out to my son in New Mexico. I tried to find different agencies, and finally came upon Sherpa. The other companies couldn’t guarantee a certain time of when the car could get there. I was more happy with Sherpa because when we talked about picking up the car and delivering it, they could deliver it to my son's home. That worked out more for us, rather than having my son go to a location to pick it up. He is a police officer, so that would have been difficult for him. Everything worked out. They were able to pick it up and deliver it when we needed it to be delivered. The car was delivered right to my son's home, which was very convenient.

I really loved the car shipping service. My car is in the same condition it was picked up in! Excellent communication by the driver, who even delivered the car 2 days early. I would definitely use Sherpa Auto Transport again!

Great Service and on-time delivery. I was concerned about the shipper that Sherpa lined up for me, **, because of some bad reviews on **. However, after more discussion with Sherpa about how they vetted their shippers, I decided to go ahead with the shipment. Victor of ** did a terrific job of loading up and dropping off our BMW Z-3 and it arrived clean with no damage at all. Victor was very professional and he received a nice tip. Sherpa and ** were terrific.

The people who work at Sherpa Auto Transport were outstanding. The folks who answered the phone were very knowledgeable, and they got good answers to my questions. Their pricing was good and they had the availability to do it when I needed it. They delivered the vehicle within the expected time frame and it was in perfect condition upon arrival. I would call them again.

We were moving and we looked at four shipping companies. Sherpa was very professional so we went with them. They shipped our vehicle cross-country at about 15 hundred miles and their customer service reps were really good. They were helpful and if I needed to talk to them, they were there to talk. Also, the price that I paid in the end was the same quote they gave me at the beginning. So, it was a fair and competitive price, and the cost was pretty on par with the quality of their service. The delivery was good as well and it took about a week. The car arrived dirty, which was what we expected, but there was no damage that we could see. I’d use Sherpa again. They’re a good company and they stood by what the quote was originally. And car transport is kind of a shady business but Sherpa is not shady.

We had never used a transport service. We looked at a lot of companies and a lot of reviews. We chose Sherpa as the price was fair and they had great communications. We found other lower and higher price bids but they did not have the guarantee of price and service level. They use contract drivers like most others but they must do a good job screening as our driver was great. He kept us informed on transport progress and seemed to care about our car. Definitely would be our first choice in the future.

I decided to ship my 1987 BMW convertible from Kansas to Los Angeles rather than drive it there. My first time to ship a car so I called several transporting companies that I found on the internet. I chose Sherpa and it was a good choice! They found a driver coming to Kansas within two days and picked up the car three days after that. The driver was very conscientious and careful pointing out small defects in my car. The driver loaded the car very carefully. The car was delivered to LA two days later in perfect condition. I do recommend Sherpa!!! I will call them again!

You have to appreciate this is a difficult business and process. I had no hard dates for pickup and delivery from west coast to east coast so when a transporter had space I was contacted. The vehicle was picked up when specified and I was notified a day ahead of delivery and vehicle was delivered at exactly the time specified. Overall went smoothly with no problems. Sherpa was always there to answer questions and very professional in communicating. I would highly recommend them based on my experience.

Everyone we had contact was more than pleasant and extremely helpful. From making the reservation, to the driver who picked the car up, to the facility where the car was delivered. Every aspect was exactly how I would have wished for it to be. I recommend Sherpa without reservation and they certainly be my “go to” from here on.

Sherpa arranged for the door-to-door pickup/delivery of a 1972 Corvette from Edmore, MI to Stockbridge, GA. Other companies said they could do it for less, but when they could not locate a driver, they increased the quote and/or asked that I take the auto to a large city -- the closest being over 50 miles away. I could not do that. Sherpa never mislead me on the price or the delivery period. I was completely satisfied with Sherpa's communication and communication from the driver. There was a one day delay in the delivery due to the driver having a mechanical failure needing repair, but he kept me informed and it was no problem.

After speaking to four other shippers, I chose Sherpa to help with our auto transport from Texas to Georgia. At my first contact with Kelsey, I felt confident that the company was customer-first oriented and valued good communication. They had all the answers to the questions I asked and their good price was a plus. Although there were delays on our side in getting the vehicle ready for pick-up, Sherpa kept in constant contact with us through email. They provided complete step-by step instructions on the entire pickup and delivery process. Delivery was "as promised" and the carrier was professional, courteous and efficient. With Sherpa we felt confident in a good transport and were not disappointed. We would definitely use them again if the need arose.

I did quite a bit of research online before hiring Sherpa to transport a vehicle from Oklahoma to California. I had an excellent experience from start to finish and would highly recommend both Sherpa and the driver they hired to transport the vehicle. Pickup was on time and delivery was within an hour of their initial prediction. The car wash they included once the car wash was delivered is a nice touch as the car was filthy from 2k miles of travel. There are a lot of horror stories online about unethical transport companies and I'm happy to say none of that applies to Sherpa. I would recommend them without hesitation. Their price wasn't the lowest but it was very competitive.

Amazed by the promptness of the service! My 2017 Nissan was picked up on Wednesday, about 4:00pm GA time in Midland, GA It was delivered to my son in Fresno, CA about 5:00pm on Friday. The overall cost was $1,545, no ups no downs, no surprises. No damage and no excuses. Compare this to the ** who wanted $6,845 and promised delivery in about 30 days. I highly recommend Sherpa.

The total transaction was positive from beginning to end. The customer service representative we contacted answered all of our questions, she called to make sure everything was in order, the driver who picked up the car was professional and polite, the vehicle was delivered ahead of schedule with no damage.

Excellent service. Woman who contacted me provided a very detailed explanation of the auto shipping process, pricing, etc. We had originally gone with another company which quoted a very low price. That company kept telling us they had a truck available to transport our car, and then nothing ever materialized. We contacted Sherpa last minute, and they explained that our car was quoted too low and no truck would pick up since both our pick up and delivery were in remote locations. Sherpa found a different truck in two days and the driver was absolutely wonderful. Great communications on all ends. Extremely happy, and would definitely use Sherpa in the future.

My experience with Sherpa was smooth from my first phone call to them. I had lots of questions and they answered all of them with clarity and patience. Doing business with them was very easy overall and the pricing was reasonable. I also had a positive experience with the driver, who kept in touch with me during the transport. I trusted Sherpa to pick up my classic Studebaker Champ truck despite the fact that I could not be at either end of the shipment, but would have to trust that they found a good driver. My vehicle was transported from Brunswick, GA to Tucson, AZ. A transporter was found that was able to meet our tight timetable. Everything went smoothly and the vehicle was delivered on time and without any damage. I highly recommend Sherpa for vehicle transport.

My daughter is in the Marines back at Quantico, Virginia and she needed a car. I looked at one other company and I saw the reviews. Plus, my maiden name is Sherpa so I thought it was meant to be so I went with them. I shipped her a Jeep Patriot from Elko, Nevada and it took four days, which was quick. When the vehicle arrived, the vehicle was dirty traveling that time of the year but the condition was fine. The cost was reasonable and the service was very appropriate. Also, the main person in their office, the dispatch people and the driver were all great.

Danielle, my daughter, is newly-married and has a brand-new baby. Her husband is in the Navy, so he stays in Chula Vista. This is the initial move for them and she and the baby are joining him. I researched online and keyed in “best auto transport”. Sherpa always showed up in the top three on all the search engines. A customer service rep emailed me a couple of different times about the next steps and she was great. I was very pleased with the quote and she assured me that it wouldn’t change, and it didn’t. I shipped a ’13 Sentra from Alabaster, Alabama and I was told that it would arrive sometime between the 27th and the 30th of November. It got there and was dropped off on the 27th which was not bad. I appreciate everything that I was told actually coming to fruition because typically, it’s different. Everything that she told me was exactly how it happened so, I was grateful for that.

It turns out there was a simple explanation for a problem that came down to a lack of communication. The fact that the company responded so quickly to my comments is an indication of the of their usual concern and respect for customer service. As for the bottom line, should the need arise to ship another vehicle in the future, i wouldn’t hesitate to use Sherpa.

The vehicle I had and the way of me towing it wasn’t gonna work. It's a piece of crap Ford and I had to ship it from New Mexico to Phoenix. Sherpa was the best deal, so I went with them. Their reps were very good and they were on the ball. They were calling and keeping me informed, and I enjoyed the ease of talking to them. If I had a question, they had an answer. The quote they gave me was good as well and it was exactly what I paid. The cost was also up to par with the quality of their service. It took a day for them to deliver my car and I’d suggest Sherpa to anybody.

At first, I was incorrectly quoted a price, but they quickly corrected it and decided to give me an even better deal for the mixup so that I could stay within the amount I had originally budgeted for this move. I looked at eight transport companies before selecting Sherpa Auto Transport. I went with them due to their online reviews and one of the reviews that I read was from ConsumerAffairs. The representative of Sherpa was really good. My interaction with him was very simple and he explained all the details very well. I told him what I needed and the price range and dates that I was looking for.

First time relocating for work and Sherpa made the experience less stressful. Super easy to schedule and connected me with a great driver. Price was consistent with other providers but the customer service was incredible.

They're a bunch of crazy people. But the rep of Sherpa answered the phone on the first try. He responded and came back with a quote and a valid date. Sherpa contacted me promptly when they found a Shipper for my car and the shipper was at my door within 5 minutes of the stated pickup time. He was courteous, professional and speedy! The shipping team was leaving CT that evening to get ahead of the approaching snow storm. Twenty fours later the car was delivered to Arkansas as promised. Sherpa guided me through the whole process with ease and confidence in their service. After the delivery, Sherpa guided me to obtain the delivery confirmation from the shipper to complete the transaction so that I could apply for the rebate. I would recommend Sherpa to family and friends!

I had high hopes for this company after reading all of their good reviews online, unfortunately that was not my experience with them. After setting up a date with them to pick up my car, my info somehow fell through the cracks (as they put it) and my car was never picked up or was I contacted. I had to leave with my family for the East coast with my car still on the West coast!!! When I finally reached someone at Sherpa they apologized profusely, but couldn’t get my car scheduled to be picked up until almost a week later! There was no financial compensation on their part either! I definitely would not recommend this company! :(

I talked to a lot of transport companies and everyone that refused to ship the vehicle that I bought in Pennsylvania was terrible. When I finally talked to Sherpa, the lady was very honest and told me upfront that it would cost a little bit more, but she explained the process. They were also the only company that had good reviews. It was a little bit more expensive than I had planned on paying, but I was very happy with the experience. And everybody I talked to was all very nice and polite.

I have a Toyota Yaris, which is a very small, light car that's not very great for highway driving, and I didn’t wanna drive it long distance from Chicago to Washington, D.C., so I needed a transport service. I did my own personal search of transport companies and I followed up on the leads that my sister sent me. But I went to ConsumerAffairs and I prioritized those brokers. Sherpa is on the second spot on ConsumerAffairs, so I felt pretty good about that. I also looked at the Better Business Bureau.

Sherpa did a great job picking up our car and delivering it to us the next day. We were surprised how quickly we got the car. We had no worries or concerns. The car arrived in perfect condition. The driver was very nice and drove through a lot of bad weather.

Car was shipped without any problems to the car. Dave, the driver did an excellent job and was very careful. He ran into some bad winter weather and had a breakdown with his truck. Even with that, he managed to get to us in a timely manner. Good job through and through.

After doing some research on the internet and speaking with a few people at Sherpa, I was more than impressed with their professionalism than others. My impression of their reps was excellent. The transportation company they booked was just good to fair though. The overall process could be improved, but I understand from a business perspective how difficult it is to broker a spot price. Sherpa was very good on price though. The initial quote was exactly what I paid. In fact, I believe that Sherpa absorbed the additional 50 bucks when the price changed from the transportation company. We go back and forth between Florida and Pennsylvania and plan to use Sherpa again. I would recommend them to someone who has the proper expectations and knows the business model they’re getting into.

Sherpa did a great job for us! We were absolute newcomers to shipping a car, and found the phone representatives to be informative, helpful, thorough and good with follow up. While working to locate a driver for the vehicle, Sherpa communicated with us daily. Our driver, who was courteous and careful with our car, arrived promptly and delivered the car to its new home in Seattle promptly. This was an easy transaction, which we really appreciated. We thought the shipping price was fair, especially considering what it would have cost us to drive the vehicle, stay overnight, fly home, etc. Thanks for a good job!

I inherited a car, so I needed to send it from Arizona to Pittsburgh. I looked at 2 other companies and Sherpa didn't have the lowest rate, but it seemed like they were better organized and they've got reviews. They also said they would line up a driver as soon as possible, whereas other companies, it was more like the week before or something. So, it was gonna be around Thanksgiving and I just didn’t want to work around with that. Sherpa was awesome. They didn't change the rate or hold back on giving me an estimate before they found a driver, whereas other places won't give you an estimate until they find a driver. They’re more streamlined so I know that I probably paid them a little more than I would have otherwise.

I relocated out of state and looked up about 30 different transport companies. Sherpa had the best quote out of all of the quotes. Everything went off without a hitch and everybody was really professional. The reps told me exactly what to expect, what time the car was gonna be there, and exactly what to expect. It was seamless. The final cost of the service was a lot lower. My original quote was around 1,195, but they came in around 850. The transport took about five days from beginning to end and they really worked with my schedule because I wanted the vehicle in as soon as possible. Winter has hit and it was coming to Illinois. I wanted it before the snowfall and I got it. The vehicle was exactly as I left it, which was a great sigh of relief.

What an incredible company. I read so many horror stories about cars not being deliverd for days on end or damaged, no communication etc. FEAR NOT!!! Sherpa is the best!!! Not only did they pick up our 2 vehicles exactly when we asked, but also delivered them the day we asked, early and the driver waited for US to get there. We moved from New York to Nevada and we shipped two family cars. I looked at four other transport companies, but I used Serpa Auto Transport for the customer service that I received over the telephone and how quickly I downloaded the contract. I was given enough time to look them over before I had to sign. They gave me a quote that was good for 90 days which I appreciated because at the time we didn’t have a closing date on our home. Their liability insurance and what it covered on top of my car insurance that was very thorough in taking pictures and documenting the car when taking it and did the same on the receiving end. We knew it cost a lot of money and it averaged about $1,500 a car, but the cars went 3,000 miles, so, compared to other companies that were a couple of hundred dollars less, their insurance and their pickup and delivery were not as precise as Sherpa was.

I got a new car, and I wanted to send the old car, an 11-year-old Volkswagen Passat which had only 39,000 miles on it, to my son in New York. I looked at three or four different transport companies and Sherpa had the best reviews, so I went with them. Sherpa emailed me and called me, and I was impressed with how quickly they got back to me. Also, they seemed to understand what I was going for. Although I didn’t wanna spend a fortune, I also was not looking to go with cheap and have it affect the car. I told them when I wanted to ship it, and they asked me if I could move up the original date that I chose for a day or two, and I said I could. They asked me if I would be willing to wait a couple of days and I said I would, too.

We were transporting a car 1,100 miles and I wanted a 5-star company. I looked into 3 companies and I felt Sherpa's customer service was excellent. They were easy to talk to on the phone from the get-go. They were straightforward, clear and easy to understand when I asked so many questions about anything. Plus, they gave me a fair quote. I like also the fact that the ratings for their drivers were of a higher standard than what was recommended for the industry. The pickup and delivery were great. The driver was excellent and did a great job. They had gotten the car here on time just like they said. I was 100% happy with the whole experience and I would use Sherpa again.

I needed to relocate a vehicle and decided to go with Sherpa Auto Transport. Their reps were excellent and the quote that they gave me was appropriate. I had to slow the delivery down a day though so that I would be there to receive the vehicle and the driver communicated well and all my expectations were met.

I was moving my vehicle from Florida to Arizona and Sherpa came in with the lower price although it was a different time of the year. The representative certainly wanted to work with me too. He tried to work with my budget and used some good sales strategies to get me to buy. Then when I said I needed to think about it, they’ve got a really great CRM solution which pings you with an email every single day that says, “Here’s why you wanna move your car now.” So when you’re in their system, you get a lot marketing communication. But that could be both a good and a bad thing. It might be a bit excessive but the gentleman I spoke with was very pleasant.

We bought a car online. It was in Chicago and we live in Nashville. We searched online for somebody who can transport it, and we settled with Sherpa because of their price. In the beginning, I asked them a lot of questions about how things work, and they sent me a quote. I then called them back and they answered all of my questions. It was great service overall. I purchased a Cadillac classic car from Las Vegas and I transported it to Solvang, CA using Sherpa Auto Transport. They have an awesome customer service and awesome follow through. It was a terrific experience for me. They went way above and beyond anything I expected. Pat was available to me through the weekend and he helped me get the car here just in time for a quick delivery which I needed desperately. In addition, Sherpa were competitive in their pricing. I also liked the policies that they had, and the reviews that they had. So ultimately, I felt like I was getting a dependable company at a competitive price. The quote they provided was fair and the final cost ended up costing me what I was expecting.

I was moving from our home in New York to our other home in Palm Desert, California and I needed to get my Toyota Avalon transported. I had Sherpa Auto Transport do it as their responses were very professional and they appeared anxious to please. Their quote was competitive and firm as well. Their customer service representatives answered any question that I had and they communicated with me through the pickup and delivery of the vehicle. The whole transport took seven days and the delivery of the vehicle went smoothly. The driver had good communication skills - he called us before he arrived and gave us an estimated arrival time, which was very close to the actual arrival time. The car came in good condition and I paid exactly what I was quoted.

We shipped a Sedan through Sherpa after looking into four shipping companies. They seemed really friendly and upfront about everything. They let me know details that I didn’t even know I needed to look into. They were on point with all the information. The quote was also good and the price was exactly the same at the end. The people we worked with were very professional and right to the point. It was just the kind of deal you like to do. On top of that, the car was picked up and delivered faster than we expected. So we were happy. When it arrived, the car's condition was also the same as when it left.

Selecting the right broker/shipper to use is hard. After doing a lot of research, I've decided to use Sherpa. I also used a different shipper for another one of my car to test the water. I must say Sherpa is much better in terms of communication and selecting the right shipper.

I’ve shipped many cars over the last five years and this was by far the best experience I’ve had. I wasn’t comfortable with pretty much any of the other companies I’ve used but with Sherpa, I had the confidence that my car was gonna arrive and I was gonna be kept informed of the progress of when I should receive my car. I wish I had found Sherpa years ago so it would’ve saved me a lot of gray hairs.

My car was shipped from Colorado to Maryland. From the first call to Sherpa, the initial call taker was very professional. I received an email saying they were working on securing my driver. I received an email when my driver was secured. The quote stayed the same. Sherpa quotes accurately, without adding on other hidden fees (many other auto transporters add additional fees). The driver was professional and timely in his pick up and delivery.

I was transferring from Maryland to California for work. This was my first time shipping my car so I looked at the rating. Sherpa's satisfaction rating was very high plus the price was low. It was like $200 beneath the others on average. The price was good and it fit to the quality of the service. The representative I spoke with was very good and friendly. He told me step-by-step what was next and I liked that. The driver was very friendly as well. The transport took about a week but they could have been a little bit early. We wanted to bring our car from our Michigan northern home to our southern Florida home. We have done that before and we thought that the company we had normally done it with was charging a lot more. So we started to look into it and we researched. We've been warned that there are a lot of unscrupulous drivers out there so we wanted to make sure that a broker was going to verify the credentials and insurance. I got Sherpa through the ConsumerAffairs recommendation. Sherpa's quote was higher but there is always somebody out there cheaper and there were also others that were even higher. So we felt that Sherpa was more than fair for their quote and then there were the actual results. The original quote was also the final cost so that worked out quite well.

My son moved so we needed a car shipped down there. Sherpa's quote was a little higher than some of the other ones I looked at. But a lot of the reviews I read were not good. Sherpa's reviews were the best and I'm happy I went with them. The cost stayed the same with what they had told me and the customer service representatives were very helpful. They answered all my questions, set it up and got back to me if I called. They were very good and I've recommended Sherpa to other people. The car also looked the same as when my son left it here. Plus we had loaded stuff in the trunk and everything was there.

Two of their reps helped me but the main one impressed me with her knowledge and details. The driver picked the car up when I wanted to and delivered it within three days, which was early. The delivery of the vehicle was perfect. When the gentleman called me, he told me when he was gonna be there. The car came dirty, but Sherpa gave me $20 off the car wash and they also gave me a couple of discount gift cards. If I ever get the chance, I'm gonna use Sherpa Auto Transport again.

I needed to get an Outback Subaru from Lake Oswego to my brother in Prescott, Arizona and Sherpa Auto Transport's quote was right on. The car ended up being in an enclosed vehicle when I only paid for an open. It was a little more expensive, but I'm glad I went with it. The car arrived at the right spot and in perfect in condition. Plus, the transport only took two days, when it was supposed to take four. Their staff was polite as well. Overall, Sherpa did a great job and I had a terrific experience with them.

I purchased a vehicle in Tennessee and needed to get it down to Florida but I didn't have the time or opportunity to go up and get it. So, after looking into a number of transport companies, I got Sherpa's service considering mostly the straightforwardness of the whole thing. There were a lot of people that were promising a lot of stuff, but it didn't really sound that realistic. They were saying that they could do it for less but it’s certainly common that people quote something to get you to walk into it, and then you run into issues when you're actually taking delivery of the vehicle. And now looking at everything that happened, the quote I got from Sherpa seemed reasonable. It would have been nice to have been able to do it for a little less, but it is what it is.

I was having a personal purchased vehicle transported from Florida to West Virginia. I had one scheduled with another company but I cancelled because of their poor ratings. I forgot I had a car coming in. Nevertheless, the delivery went well. A guy knocked on the door and the car was already unloaded. The papers were already ready for me to inspect the vehicle and sign. It was zero effort on my end, just for pick-up.

Some of the companies that said they were number one actually had the worst reviews ever. So, I was shocked because Sherpa didn’t have the bad reviews. The setting up was pretty good and simple and the reps were nice and friendly. One lady helped me out because when I did my original quote, it was supposed to be at a friend's house because I haven't had my permanent address yet. They found me a transport at first, but that one didn’t work out and they didn’t care for him either. So they found me a more reliable one. Moreover, the quote they gave was also exactly the same that I paid. The driver called the day before the delivery. They also called the morning of the delivery date to say they would be there in about an hour and a half. I ended up changing the location for the delivery and that was fine with them. Everything went smoothly.

Notification of delivery needs improvement. The sequence of events did not occur as described when booking the service (i.e. I knew the vehicle was on it’s way and an anticipated delivery, but when that time Lapsed I initiated a call to the dispatcher for clarification). I was told the driver would contact me, but only did that happen after contacting the dispatcher. And as I waited, no updates until it was already well into the evening. Ultimately the car arrived safe and sound, and despite the inconveniences, I’m still happy the service was available.

There was a company that was like $400 more than the cheapest and $200 more than the most expensive. It was the first we had ever had to ship a vehicle and Sherpa made it very easy. They were very good. I hadn't heard from the driver and Sherpa got me in contact with the driver. The driver that they had lined up was very experienced. We waited until they loaded the car so that I can send my son a picture of his car that it was on the way to him. We watched them for about 45 minutes and you can tell they knew exactly what they were doing. My son's vehicle arrived in Washington a day and a half early, which was great, and in good shape. My son communicated with the driver and they had a local pick-up spot. And he said everything went fine.

I was in touch with one guy and he was fast and trustable. He went through with talking with the driver and everything. The quote that I was provided was okay which is the average between other companies. The cost was great and the experience was fine.

I was transporting a project car across the US, from New York to Washington. I've shipped cars several times before and I talked with a couple of companies. They all say on their website that there's no pressure, that they give you the information, and that they're not like the other guy. Sometimes the calls could be very different until someone else I talked to had used those same tactics. When I talked to Sherpa, they didn’t at all. They were more informative and explained the process. I felt comfortable about working with them. The quote was exactly what they had said. I have even asked if we could do any better because I had a target amount that I wanted to go with. They responded back with something that was competitive. It took me an extra week, but in the end, we found someone and it all worked out fine.

They said they should be able to do it and so I put the deposit down. The quote they provided was a little higher than what I was expecting, but I booked late so I understood it. A little more communication would’ve been nice and I needed a little more reassurance, but other than that, everything was fine. They transported my vehicle from Virginia to Olympia, Washington and it took no longer than eight days which was a bit quicker compared to what I had done in the past.

The price was reasonable. Another company gave me $650 and they were $850 but they delivered as promised. So, I was very satisfied. The car was clean and everything was good.

My daughter moved to North Carolina and I looked at dozens of different transport companies before choosing Sherpa Auto Transport. We went through various Yelp and other rating web services, and Consumer Reports rated Sherpa as the best choice. The customer service rep at Sherpa was great, very informative, and had a great demeanor. The initial quote was higher than everybody else, but I wasn’t willing to take a chance with a company that wasn’t rated well. The vehicle was shipped from my house in California to where my daughter is in North Carolina and they did fine. They showed up when they said they were going to. However, because of the flooding in North Carolina, the driver had to talk her through how he was gonna get there. My daughter didn’t have any transportation to get to where the car was potentially going to be delivered, but the driver finally got it within a mile off where she was living.

He arrived on time and within the timeframe that my friend was gonna be there. He did what he said he was going to do and everything worked perfectly.

He asked me specific questions like when I wanted to have my vehicle picked up and delivered. He also asked if there was urgency in the delivery of the vehicle. Thereafter, he gave me a projected date.

I bought a car and I didn’t wanna drive it halfway across the country from Omaha, Nebraska to San Francisco Bay Area I checked out three transport companies and since Sherpa seemed to have a pretty good market share of the transport business, I went with them. Also, they were able to meet the dates that I needed. I tried one or two others, but they were talking two or three weeks out before they would be able to transport my vehicle. Sherpa used an independent contractor to do the transport but I really liked the guy. I talked to him and he obviously did auto transport before, so it all worked out.

He coordinated and adjusted times with her because they got in late on their plane ride to Miami from California. So, the continued follow-up and contact was a good little thing.

I was moving from Atlanta to California and I had to ship a 2018 Audi Q5. Sherpa had a lot of reviews and a lot of them were positive. When I first found out which carrier was gonna take my car, I read the reviews on that carrier and there were a lot of negative ones. The customer service rep assured me that she had a lot more positive than negative on file, so I went ahead with the carrier that they assigned me to. The quote was a little higher than most but because of the positive reviews, I was willing to pay a little bit more. Also, the driver was very pleasant and friendly. They picked up my car on Monday and it was delivered on Sunday. He arrived at the specified location. It went really well and I was really surprised because I read a lot of reviews and everybody expressed their horror stories but yet, I had none.

Everything went really good when Sherpa transported my vehicle from New Hampshire to Florida. I had looked at 2 different transport companies before I went with Sherpa. They have a lot of good reviews. All the communication with the customer service rep was very clear and they were very responsive. The initial quote was a fair price and it ended up to be accurate. My vehicle was delivered really fast and everything was in order and in good condition. My interactions with the driver were good too. Sherpa did a very clear and great service.

Among 4 different transport companies, I like Sherpa's professionalism and customer service. Their service was a little pricey, but they were pretty much upfront. I talked to the dispatcher, Will, and he was fantastic. I was most impressed with his promptness, knowledge, and swiftness of execution with the contract. I also like the fact that he didn’t charge me upfront ’til he found a driver. 1,300 for the quote would’ve been super fair, but he gave me a $50 break which I still have to collect. Nevertheless, they had my Toyota Camry transported for about 2,500 miles and the delivery was timely. The vehicle was in excellent condition too. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

Their reps answered right away and they knew my whole situation when I called. However, it wasn’t that clear to me when I should start looking for a driver. I wish I had been guided to start a little earlier.

I acquired a 2004 Cadillac from my father in Minnesota, and I live in Pennsylvania so I had to get it shipped. Sherpa was very helpful when I talked to them on the phone. They answered my questions and we got everything set up. Everything was very simple. The price was exactly as they said it would be. Also, the delivery went well. The first call didn’t quite suit my time, so the driver adjusted his schedule a little bit and we made it work. I was travelling from Minnesota to PA at the same time, so I was trying to get home before the car got there and it worked out well. The car was even a little cleaner than when it left Minnesota. I'd never used a transport company before and the experience was great. It's a very good way to get your automobile transported. If I ever need another one, I'll call them again.

Jerome, the guy who transported my vehicle, was excellent too. He told me when he was gonna be there to pick the Jeep up and that in a couple of days, he was gonna deliver it. He picked the vehicle up at my house and dropped it off at the new house through the door. He even waited for me to get here to deliver it. He picked the vehicle up on a Saturday and dropped it off on a Tuesday. That was what I requested and it wasn't a problem. The cost was perfect too. It was what I expected to pay and everything went smoothly.

I was moving out of state but my truck broke down on me. I looked at other transport companies before choosing Sherpa but none of the others had a truck big enough to haul my vehicle. The transport took about three days and they arrived two days earlier than the day they told me. The delivery was hectic and they weren't able to drop the vehicle off on the street that I lived on, so I had to walk about a block and a half to go get the truck. It was because of the transporter size of the truck that they had and we had a tight street right there. The drivers were also good and I didn't have any issues with them. But the mirror on my driver's side of the truck was taken apart and was never reassembled. Still, they provided great quality service, were quick on the shipment, and the vehicle was picked up at home. I would recommend them.

He communicated with me all the way through the trip. Then after I got the car here, the owner, John, called me to make sure that I was happy with the service. Sherpa did a great job and I appreciate the service that they provided.

The quote I received was fair for one car and Sherpa neither overpriced nor underpriced for their service. The driver did an adequate job. Communication was a little difficult, but we figured things out.

Communicating with their rep before the transport was great. But after, not so great. The transporters were supposed to show up on a Friday but that got canceled. Then they said, Saturday, but that got canceled as well. They showed up on Monday and the driver called about an hour before he got here.

The person I spoke with was pleasant and confident, and the quote they provided was competitive. It was also the same upon completion of transport.

I live in New York City and I'm getting ready to move to San Antonio, Texas. My sister lived in Portland and she left the country for a couple of years. She had a Toyota Prius that I purchased for her and I needed it shipped from Portland to San Antonio. I Googled a lot and found Sherpa Auto Transport, and I decided to go with them. They had better and consistent customer service and their reps were more attentive. They were always available. If I had a question and I called in, they were able to answer it or they would find out the answer and get back to me. If I emailed a question, I'd always get either a phone call or a response back right away. I worked with a couple of different reps and I found the customer service to be the same with each individual.

I'm in the military. I had to move to a different state and the car was going to my mother's house in San Antonio. Sherpa's great on ConsumerAffairs and they had a lower price. The quote was $1,300 with a 50-dollar rebate. I haven't seen the rebate yet but the price was good. It was on par with the quality of the service. Sherpa did very well. The driver was also all right when I interacted with him over the phone. My sister-in-law was there for the pickup and my mom was there for the delivery. The delivery was one day over from the date that I was told but it wasn't a big deal. My car got there all right and I would recommend Sherpa.

I needed to transport a Toyota Rav4. I googled reviews of the transport companies I looked into and talked with their representatives and I saw some details of Sherpa. The persons I worked with at Sherpa were good. I hoped the car can be shipped on August the 10th and it took a long time for the company to search for a driver for me. But it worked out on that day so I’m very happy with that. The car was delivered after three days and there were no damages. Everything’s as good as before. I paid exactly the same as our quote at the beginning. I'm satisfied with my experience with Sherpa.

It was less than a week from the call to the pickup, which was good, and the woman I dealt with was very courteous. She got the job done. The driver had several stops to make across the country as he was heading out there. So the drop-off was on schedule. Maybe it was even a little early.

Nicholas has an exotic vehicle and we moved it back and forth across the United States. His parents live out East and I, his assistant, arranged to have the 911 shipped to his father who was 1,000 miles away. I looked at three different transport companies and Sherpa had the best reviews. They didn’t appear to damage the vehicles and Nick was very specific about not wanting that vehicle damaged before it arrived.

She also made me feel like she's always going to be there if there's a problem. The delivery was on time and kept me informed. He was able to meet getting to my development which I was surprised. The cost was a little bit on the higher end but I wouldn't be as sensitive to price knowing some people I hear wait two to three weeks for a pickup. So, I was happy with what I did.

I called one or two and when I spoke with the people at Sherpa, I felt a bit more comfortable in the insurance and the way everything was getting done. They were very professional and as far as insurance coverage, they were plain about how things were handled. They explained that if they gave me the price quote, no matter what, even if they couldn't find somebody for that rate, they were still gonna charge me that quoted price. That made a difference since not a lot of companies are gonna do that. I went with them so that there would be no surprises later and there weren’t.

It was really easy to get it all set up with them. And I get a quick turnaround to hear back, to get scheduled for a truck driver. The vehicle was transported for 800 miles and it got to its destination almost a day before I had asked for it. That was really great. It was convenient, and it worked out for me. The delivery driver got a hold of me the day prior to the delivery and we had discussed, meeting the following day to do the entire delivery. The quotation was pretty close to the average cost. So, that was good as well. I would recommend them to friends or family and I would use them again.

I needed my 2004 Volkswagen hauled across the country. I had a back injury, so I couldn’t drive for 2,000 miles. After looking at five different companies, I decided to go with Sherpa. I liked the time they gave me and their reasonable price. It was in sort of the price range that everybody else was quoting, but they seemed like they were gonna get it done. They quoted me a price via an email and the next time I spoke to them was when I got a call from the driver saying he was in the neighborhood to pick up the vehicle. In the end, the final cost was what they had quoted. That was the issue with some of the other companies. They were quoting one thing then would call me back and quote me something different. But Sherpa didn't do that. During the delivery, when they were within a half-mile of where I was, they gave me a call saying that they were there. Then I met the driver and my car was in good condition when I got it.

I moved from my shop to my bigger shop in Georgia and had a good experience using Sherpa Auto Transport. They had really good customer service and answered my questions. Moreover, the price was good value. The drivers did a good job of communicating. They were on time and the vehicle arrived in good condition. Sherpa Auto Transport was great and I would recommend them.

I used Sherpa Auto Transport service for a move from California to Michigan. They were very prompt and they gave me the date that I needed where the other companies were just giving me a window. Their customer service rep was very helpful and the quote I was provided was competitive. It could have been cheaper though but that's okay. My vehicle was delivered fine. The only problem was the time that they dropped it off. It was 11 o'clock at night and we had to meet the people because we lived in a small road so the big truck couldn't get down those roads. Everything was good and there were no marks. It'd be good though if we could just pay Sherpa and then they could pay the driver. Nonetheless, I'd recommend Sherpa Auto Transport. Everyone was really nice. They made the whole process very easy and convenient for me. As a matter of fact, I'm using them again.

I had a very good experience with Sherpa. Their ratings on the Better Business Bureau and the ConsumerAffairs' website made me decide to go with them. Plus, I couldn’t find any really bad, negative reviews of Sherpa online so that made me feel they were a safe bet. I had checked the company before them and when it came down to the pickup date, they had started giving me the runaround. I called Sherpa and they picked up a day earlier than they said they would. Everything was very straightforward. They gave me the quote, explained that the car needed to be fully cleaned out and I couldn’t have any personal items in there.

When I spoke to a Sherpa rep, she gave me a little confidence on them. She explained to me what was going on when transporting a car. They provided me with a good quote and it was comparable. Then they got to the delivery quickly. The car got to my house intact and with no damage. However, there was a miscommunication between Sherpa’s rep and the actual driver. Since I work over an hour away from home, I needed a two-hour notice. I was anxious about getting the car and I wondered when it would be in my house so I called them to ask. They told me that they will check with the driver and will give me a callback. They called me about 11:30 and said that the car will arrive at 1:00. It was a little short notice as I was still working.
