We needed to transport the car from Fort Myers to Virginia. Sherpa had the best reviews overall and their guarantee was right on the money. Everything was perfect. Setting everything up was easiest thing from the get-go. Every time we called, we were able to talk to the rep. Even though it was kind of a third-party, it was really easy. We called and told them what we wanted. And when we had questions, I could call back five minutes later and get the same girl again. I didn't have to go through my whole story. They were excellent.

Ok I say this was by far THE EASIEST car hauling transaction I've ever done (after the sale). Called, got 3 quotes, Sherpa was in the middle. The initial phone call to get the quote was so professional explaining every step of what’s gonna happen. Great communication with the driver assigned to do the move. I was so happy I referred a friend who also bought a car from this estate to haul his purchase. WONDERFUL. NO ISSUES.

Sherpa's customer service reps were good. We talked to them once and then worked with the driver from there. The pick-up and delivery of our vehicle went great. However, we wanted more heads-up before pick-up and delivery. Instead, it ended up being about 45 minutes. Still, we made it work both times so it wasn't a big deal. The car was in great shape when it arrived and the driver was very friendly. I didn't owe more money than I thought in the end. Overall, Sherpa did a great job.

I moved from Chicago to Atlanta and had an amazing experience with Sherpa. I was super-impressed with the quality of the service and how fast they were able to deliver the car within a day. I have heard some real horror stories from my friends that their car got delivered in 21 days or at times, never gets delivered. But in the case of Sherpa, it was pretty opposite with respect to horror stories they were speaking about. The pick-up and delivery of our vehicle went smoothly. The driver was super-nice too. Additionally, the quote they provided was accurate.

We had two vehicles to move across the country and I used Sherpa Auto Transport. Their customer service was very good initially. They laid everything out for me and what it would cost. I had to pick a timeframe when I would want them to pick the vehicles up. But there were two different times because the circumstances were a little unusual. And that was excellent. The only fact that was really weird was that when they got a driver then they would let you know exactly when they were picking up. I was just waiting and waiting. I called them one time and I said, "I have to know from you when you're gonna pick up the vehicle." And they said they would let me know. What happened was I picked a five-day span of time depending on when I needed the vehicle to arrive. And then, they'd find different drivers. They don't know ahead of time who's gonna do it. So, they set somebody up when they let me know, which was fine.

I did a basic Google search on cross-country auto transport, and different websites came up with different ratings. Once I came across Sherpa, I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau website and they didn't have any complaints. It was a good sign. Their reps were great. They were very eager workers and very thorough in explaining everything to me. When I had to call back because I wanted to make my final payment before my car even shipped, they were easy to talk to. Everything was great and very easy, especially for me as a first-time cross-country mover.

As I was cruising the internet, I checked the triple-A rating that Sherpa received and the reviews that I was able to pull up, and they have the best reviews. My experience went very well. The gentleman I spoke with walked me through everything in the beginning. And then, I had one question for him a week before the pickup, and we didn't have any problems with that. He answered my questions. Terry, the driver that picked up the car, was very pleasant. He tied down the car so that I didn't worry about it. And he was great when he delivered the car down here. I couldn't be happier. Moreover, the quote was reasonable and it did not change. I am very happy I chose Sherpa. It was a great service.

Shipping your car cross-country is a scary prospect. Sherpa made the process easy. They found a reliable carrier and provided good communication with me, both through e-mail and personally by phone... through the entire process. My car was shipped in an enclosed truck and, although it took a little longer than expected (two weeks), my car was delivered to the door just as clean as when I had shipped it.

Slow to arrive but great once arrived and professional, courteous and friendly, arrived at destination intact with no issues or problems, expect again, delay in delivery date/time/weather related. Better communication would improve service.

Sherpa was rated the highest out of the transport companies online. Their customer service team was very friendly and easy to work with. For the most part, everything was good. Everything was very straightforward. The pick up and delivery were on time, prompt, and very professional. The driver kept in contact with me on where he was and how far out he was.

Register online and received an immediate and welcoming response. Given immediate quote and left deposit. Received email with receipt with all the deal tales. Received additional with an hour that a driver was found and booked.

My experience with Sherpa was very good. They were very professional on the phone. The organizer was very professional. And the driver was also very professional. The transport took four days and they arrived on time. And the vehicle arrived in good condition. Also, the quote I was given was good. It did not change throughout the process. If I ever had to ship again, I'll go to Sherpa.

I was purchasing a vehicle from my brother-in-law in Utah and needed to ship it to Virginia. When we were debating whether we were gonna buy a vehicle, I was getting an idea of what it would cost to ship. But then, when I did some research and read reviews, I went with Sherpa. Though they were slightly more expensive, I felt better about their reviews. Their customer service rep was responsive but then my experience was a little confusing with the driver. He had called me the night before and I originally thought he was gonna be in in the morning, but then he was in Tennessee and he was just too tired and didn’t get to my place until the afternoon.

I did research, found a few companies, got quotes, and Sherpa Auto Transport was the most reasonable. The service was great. The transport organizers that I dealt with who set up everything up for me were perfect. We had the initial call and I gave them my information. Within a week, they had a driver booked. A month later, the driver came, met me in a parking lot, and loaded my car. A week after that, my car was dropped off in California. The price stayed the same, even though the location of the drop-off changed. Sherpa worked with me.

My car was picked up on time and delivered when they said it would be; there were no problems with the car (no damage). The driver called me when he picked the car up and gave me 3 time windows when the car would be delivered the last one a 15 minute window. The car was unloaded on my street (door to door service) as they said it would be. I was very anxious when I was looking for a transport company but the people at Sherpa assured me there would be no problems and there weren't any. I would definitely use them again.

My wife and I were moving states, and Sherpa had the best prices in our price range. From the reviews I’ve read, everything seemed great about them too. In fact, they were pretty upfront about everything, including what they quoted us, and the customer service was great. We paid exactly what I was quoted and they were responsive too. They updated us when they told us they were going to and so overall, we were happy with them.

Nonetheless, they met all my expectations as far as they did what they said they were gonna do. The car arrived in good shape and it was a fine experience overall.

There were other transport dealers who were offering me the same shipping for a much cheaper price. But then again, it was all about the best service and the quality, so I chose Sherpa instead. They even sent me $100 rebate in the form of a debit card after my car was shipped which was a nice gesture from them. Overall, I had a good experience with Sherpa and if I ever had to ship my car again, I would go with them again.

I shipped my 2012 Subaru Impreza STI through Sherpa Auto Transport when I moved. I looked at one other transport companies but Sherpa's customer representative’s honesty made me go with them. Their customer service was great. They explained to me why the quote was how it was and it made sense. It was right on and that was what I had to pay. Their courier driver was great. The total transport took about two weeks. However, there were some things that I didn’t see afterwards when I got the vehicle so I was not too happy about that. One of my fenders got bent. It was a very minor damage, but it got bent in a really weird way and I can’t help but to think that somebody clipped the other side of my fender wrong and pulled it out a little bit. Nevertheless, my experience was great overall.

I was moving from Mississippi to Virginia and I didn't wanna drive while I was moving. I had googled several transport companies, and Sherpa had a cheaper rate. I dealt with a very helpful rep. She emailed me to make sure that I was going to keep the schedule. There would be a fee if I didn't keep it. She told me the day that they would pick my car up. And the person who did that called before he left to pick it up. I gave him the information because my brother was gonna be the one to make sure they got my car. Everything was what I expected. The guy was really nice. He called me before he came. And my car was much the way it was when I left. I was satisfied with Sherpa and I would recommend them.

I had them ship my vehicle about 2000 miles when I was moving 'cause I got a different job. Their guy delivered my vehicle on time after about four days and everything was fine. She explained how the companies worked and that they don't own their own trucks. She said that if I got a really low-balled price, then I may not be able to find a driver. I would be sitting waiting for my car to be picked up but then nobody would show up. I told her that that would be like the company I couldn't reach. On top of that, I had people calling me saying they had a truck in my area. I told them what date I wanted to go and they were calling arbitrarily. It was ridiculous.

But the price was fair and accurate with the final cost. The driver was also very professional. The initial person did not know that there was a satisfaction guarantee. I was trying to find out what would happen if there was a delay and it didn’t arrive when it was supposed to, and that initial person wasn’t able to answer that question, but the manager was able to. Sherpa was expensive but you get what you pay for.

I needed a transport service to get a car from where I was moving. Sherpa seemed like a good company, plus they were based in North Carolina which was where I was moving from. The driver was wonderful and he was the best part of the whole thing. He got the car there pretty quick and dropped it right to me.

I'm relocating to the West Coast and I had to ship a '17 Mercedes. I had booked with someone else, but their performance was awful. I had to cancel midway with them because they were not responding to my calls. Sherpa was the last minute maneuver. It was a little expensive, but they were pretty prompt at answering. I would have preferred the process to be two days earlier because they put surcharge on the quote because they want to put me on the fast track. But eventually, it became a slow track, but still I kind of paid the same amount. It was all right. Communication I feel, was the major problem, in general, with this kind of stuff, but they were pretty good.

Three days after receiving our quote we were ready to finalize the agreement, but unfortunately for us, the price had increased by $300. We were told the Annual migration of Snowbirds from the southeast to the northeast had begun in earnest and that getting a driver to go from southeast to southwest was going to be difficult unless we sweetened the pot (by increasing our bid by $300).

We bought a vehicle and we were going to ship it from Florida to New York. We looked at 7 different transport companies and I had a better feel from dealing with Sherpa than I did with the others. Their quote was higher than some of the others I received, but I didn't mind paying it. Sherpa's rep walked me through what they were going to do in detail. He informed me how payment processing would work. They were very professional and answered all my questions regarding insurance protection and payment at the other end. I dropped the car off for them locally and in two days, they were at the pickup point with my son at the other end. I felt like I was in good hands with this move.

I emailed Sherpa and their reps were able to respond to me. I had them transport my vehicle about 900 miles. That time, we weren’t able to get the van into my house driveway ‘cause of the snow in Minnesota, so we told them where we’re gonna drop the car and they put the keys into the front. The place was a huge parking lot. They put the plate number and they took pictures when they were putting it on and sent those pictures to us. On the other end, they called my daughter a couple of hours ahead of time and told her where they were gonna be. They were there and it worked very smoothly. However, their carrier was non-enclosed so the van picked up some dirt. Still, it was fine upon arrival. If I know people who are gonna use a car transport service, I would refer them to Sherpa.

I was moving for about 1,600 miles at least for a job, and I needed to transport my Ford Explorer. I looked at three companies and Sherpa had the best online reviews. The customer service representatives at Sherpa were excellent. They were very friendly, professional, patient and thorough. The quote given was very accurate, and it only took them about four days from when they picked the vehicle up to when they dropped it off to the location. It was pretty fast. The driver and I were texting back and forth, and they were updating me. The vehicle was in the same condition as when it left. I would definitely work with them again.

I'm in a different state and I was transporting a Honda Civic to a family member. I looked at a few companies and chose Sherpa based off other customer experiences and reviews. It was my first time, so they were able to make it easy to understand and to have more information when I was going into it. They also gave me details about how the process worked. They gave me some estimates and said it could change if there was some rough weather at the time, but it all went exactly as planned. Their quote was pretty fair from other quotes I had gotten and other people I talked to. It seemed within the same range, and I got what I needed and what I asked for.

Sherpa was great. Firstly, there was virtually no repetitive calls/emails/texts trying to gain my business, as other brokers/haulers were doing. Customer service was excellent. They took time to explain the entire process and were transparent about how the business works (brokers/haulers). They offered a discount when asked and found a transporter for me that provided excellent on time service with great communication. We will definitely use Sherpa again if the need arises!

We had our cars transported with Sherpa from the west coast to the east coast. Their quote was more than what we expected but once I researched about it, their quote was nicely in the middle of the price range. They told us that the transport was gonna take seven to 10 days, but it only took three days and it was delivered to our daughter who lives in Davidson. We were moving to North Carolina after we drove in the Davidson area and I liked their dealer in Charlotte. It was a local company. Also, I liked their $200 gift cards and free carwash. We only had four weeks and the whole move was pretty stressful, but everything fell into place and it all worked out.

Moving across country is no feat and the last thing you want to think about is having to worry about your car traveling on a truck over 2600 miles. With Sherpa I was very happy with their service, they arrived on time, Chris was very polite and courteous and was even a little early in delivery. With all the problems I had with moving, this was NOT one of them. I would highly recommend Sherpa.

I researched a lot and discovered what a racket auto transport can be. Sherpa was consistently highly rated across review sites. Their bid was higher but not unreasonable and if you read enough about this industry, you soon discover that low ball bids are low for a reason and usually cost you more in the long run.

I had a loss in my family and the vehicle needed to come back from Florida to Denver as I needed to use that vehicle for my daughter that started driving. Sherpa's rates were pretty good, and so were the reviews. The customer service was precise, and they gave me all the expectations to what was going to be happening. They gave me a time frame in which the vehicle was going to be picked up. They said the driver was going to call me, which he did, and we met in the open area in Sarasota, Florida. It took four to six days, but it was within the timing I was told.

It was a pleasure to do business with SHERPA, my car was picked up in NJ within the promised time and arrived at the SC destination on time and in the same condition without any damage or scratches. The Driver David ** was very nice and polite. Customer service was flawless, Felicia was wonderful and so nice to deal with and so was everyone else. The price for the transport was fair and there were no hidden costs, I paid exactly what was quoted. This company strives for excellence from the moment of the initial contact thru the whole process until your car is safely delivered.

The reps at Sherpa were very good and their quote was comparable to what's out there. The delivery of the Forester was within a few days, which wasn’t any different than what they told me it was gonna be. I would recommend them.

I can’t say enough good things about Crimson and her co-workers at Sherpa. We were relocating for a new job and needed to transport our car cross-country. The quote I received was exactly what I paid – this eliminated a lot of anxiety I was getting from reading horror stories online from people who had their quoted price changed by the broker after the carrier was contracted. Sherpa did a fantastic job communicating with us throughout the entire process. We knew exactly what to expect and they were always available to answer our questions. We also had the contact information for the carrier if we wished to speak directly to the dispatcher or the driver. Myself and my family (ies) have been trying to find a auto shipping company but no avails. I was so devastated because I wanted the car to get there before us. So I went online looked for companies that will ship car. Some said they will get there 4-6 days. But when my sister called Sherpa Auto Transport, they booked her immediately. The next week, she got a call from them saying that we have a driver that will transport our cars. Before the driver arrived, he called us.

The truck driver called & gave me info on time me would be there to load our car plus he called again when hear the pick up spot. He told me what would happen, took the photos of the car, did the signing & loaded the car. He answered all my questions. I knew he would transport the car just like it was his own & he did. Very happy with his service & the persons on the phone that set up my account with this great caring transport driver. We would use again if needed.

My mother was moving in with us and she wasn’t able to drive. The Sherpa rep was friendly and answered all my questions. I requested the enclosed transport and the computer system wasn’t able to tack on that extra amount. But when I called and I got the email, I reviewed it and I noticed that it automatically switched it to open. When I verified that I wanted it enclosed, the rep fixed it on his end and told me about the increase in price, which I knew was gonna be more. The vehicle was in the same condition as it was when it was put on.

When I was gifting a Hyundai van to my grandson 1,000 miles from here to North Carolina, Sherpa Auto Transport was the most professional. They kept in touch with me the best and they answered my concerns. It was a first time experience for me. They were thorough and they said the things I wanted to hear. I was assured of I would be constantly kept in contact, and I was. They followed up with me and they were professional all the way around. I could pay a little bit more, but I felt better about them taking the car than I did with another company.

Our truck driver Nick was very professional, kept in touch, answered when we called, made sure of our specific location and needs. Made extra effort to load car and unload at the delivery point due to location difficulties. Ordering and process was seamless and easy. All my questions answered. Great delivery.

I recently hired Sherpa to transport our son's car from Orange County, California to Palmyra, PA. They gave me a fair price and promise a door to door delivery and they stood by their words. My account manager Patrick called everyday and told me the new car's location. The driver called the day before delivery and gave us the location day and time of delivery. The car arrived to our home in very good condition, nothing broken, no dents or scratches, just very dirty. Which was okay to us. After reading all the bad reviews and complaints we were very happy and satisfied with the delivery. Thank you Sherpa for an excellent job. I highly recommend this company to my friends and family and will use them again for sure. This is very respectful and trustworthy business. I will give them A++.

I looked into three transport companies and I was mainly going after the pricing and then the reviews to make sure it wasn’t like damaged cars. Sherpa won and their customer service reps were all super nice, which the icing on the cake. The delivery guy was super cool, and he treated me and the car really well. The transport took about a week and it was really fast. They said it would be longer, but it ended up being even faster which was pretty awesome. Sherpa should keep doing what they're doing. Everybody's happy. I'm military and I deal with a lot of different companies, but Sherpa was pretty honest and I appreciate it. I have recommended them to three other people.

I checked some other companies, and then Sherpa called me back and I told the rep what I was willing to pay and we reached an agreement. The transporter that they chose was very good. He was thorough, on time when he said he was gonna be there, and I enjoyed that. I like to keep abreast on the transaction, including when he was gonna be there and what time, and they kept me abreast. I've recommended Sherpa to someone, and I'll be using them again in the next couple of weeks.

I purchased a Toyota Camry in Florida and had it shipped to New York. Sherpa's price quote was the best and their customer service was very responsive and pleasant. They did what they said they were gonna do. They waited to get someone who would do it for the price that they quoted, and in the end, they took a smaller piece of the action in order to give me the price they quoted me. Because of the area I was located in Sherpa couldn’t find a truck to haul my car. I told them I needed the car picked up on a certain date without fail as I was leaving the state. On that day a trucker showed up and loaded and delivered my car cross country without a hitch. The driver was courteous and professional. I would use Sherpa again.

This is my first time ever writing a review on a company. However, I felt compelled to do so because I am upset and disappointed with this company. The company promised to pick up my car on a specific date but failed to do so. I felt they promised to pick my vehicle up on the day I had requested just to get my $300 deposit. I was never notified of the name of the carrier as they stated in their terms and agreement. But yet, the $300 was withdrawn from my bank account. The transporter was very punctual down to the minute. A very thorough inspection was conducted on both sides of the transport. I was very pleased and definitely will recommend this company and they have a repeat customer.

The drivers are very professional when picking up and delivering your vehicle to your destination and that helps to give you a feeling that your vehicle is safe. I had this company transport my Toyota RAV4 twice and if I need to transport my vehicle in the future I will not hesitate to call Sherpa Transport. They provide excellent customer service from the time you call to book to transport.

While the final payment was a bit higher than the other companies, it was reasonable.

I agreed and gave them the downpayment amount, then they provided who they would subcontract it to. It was back and forth communication and emails, and they were very good about that, and they answered questions too if I had any.

I called Sherpa and within days my car was transported and arrived as promised, coast to coast! The driver was professional and my car was in perfect condition.

We wanted our son to have the Ford truck up in Idaho, so we needed transport service. The broker that I went with found Sherpa Auto Transport. Sherpa's customer service was really great. They understood that there was a situation with my son up in Idaho and they were more than willing to work with us about that. The cost was great too. The amount that they quoted to us was what we paid. The truck was shipped from Lakeside, San Diego up in Idaho and it took three days from when they picked it up to when it was dropped off to our son. The delivery of the truck went really well and it didn't have any damage at all. Everything was great with Sherpa.

I was moving and was shipping my car from coast to coast. Sherpa was what I found in Yelp, Consumer Digest, and other sites, and it had good reviews. The rep that I spoke with from Sherpa was professional. Setting up a diver took them four days. The guy picked up my car and I only talked to him for 30 seconds, but I had no complaints. I was there during the delivery and that was good. We even inspected the outside of the car together, and it was all good. I took my pictures and then we just took it from there. The entire transport process took 10 days. My car was dropped late -- it was a little more than a week. But, everything went off without a hitch, so I couldn’t have been happier.

I purchased a Toyota FJ Cruiser from Minnesota and it needed to be shipped to Pennsylvania. I looked at two different transport companies and based on the online reviews I got Sherpa. I called them and asked about a price quote. The quote they provided was reasonable. The two that I contacted was in the same ballpark. Sherpa looked around for a driver that would take the job. Once they found that, they arranged with the dealer to arrange a time to pick up the car. They were very good.

My mom is too old to drive and so I had Sherpa move her car from New York to Florida and I was very happy with them. It was a little scary because it's a new company but I chose to work with them having done my research on it. I went on a lot of different sites besides the Better Business Bureau and everything that I read was good. I talked to them and told them what I needed and the date. The rep said they needed a few days to find a driver. I asked them to please stay in touch as soon as they find out. I got a little worried when we were getting into the timeframe since I had to have it down here latest by Tuesday morning, and it was Friday at 4 o'clock and they haven't heard anything yet. But they said I was number one on the list. Then at 6 o'clock, I got a call and I was like, "Oh, thank God." It got picked up Saturday night at about 7:30 PM.

This was my first experience shipping a vehicle, but because the distance was so great (from Colorado to New York) I decided it would be much more cost effective this way. I spoke with Crimson from Sherpa (who is a real sweetheart) and she helped to set everything up. After that I was assigned a driver. The communication between myself and the driver was excellent, the shipping time was excellent (Friday afternoon to Monday morning) and my truck arrived in the same condition it left in. Money well spent! I will absolutely use Sherpa again when I'm in need of their services and I highly recommend them to anyone else who has shipping needs.

I had a Nissan Maxima transferred from Minnesota to California which was about 2,000 miles. I looked at a couple of transport companies but I liked that the staff from Sherpa were courteous and friendly on the phone. It was a fine interaction. Everything was alright when we worked with Sherpa and we got the $100 Visa gift card. There was some talk about the reimbursement of the car wash, which was up to 20 bucks, but that never showed up. Still, the car is here and that’s what matters. Overall, I had no complaints and the quality of service was all good.

But he said he does it all the time, so I figured I'd give him a chance. He was great and I enjoyed talking with him.

First time shipping our Brand new one and we were concerned about it. We live in Naples for 6 months and our car was being shipped from RI. I called them and told them that the other company said they were gonna do it, and now, they’re not returning any calls or emails so I was in a bad spot for getting a truck in transport. I added that we needed it transported by a certain date so the rep said that they better get right on this one.

He explained everything to me. Their quote was a little higher than Roadrunner but considering the fact that they got the car transported in a very quick manner, it wasn't that much more. So, I was fine with it. It seemed very reasonable to me. They called me when they delivered the vehicle. They told me that they were at the location and when I got there, the car was already off of the truck and ready to go. The condition of the vehicle was great. It left with no scratches and it came back with no scratches or damage.

The car arrived in good condition and it was all I could have asked for. However, the price I had to pay went up because the vehicle unfortunately didn’t start like it was supposed to. It had to be manually moved on to the trailer and then manually taken off. The driver told me that he needed $120 for all that, and I didn't think that was unreasonable. The amount I paid was what I would’ve paid with just about anybody else, and that was assuming the vehicle would run. I expected my experience to be a freaking nightmare, but it was not.

I was moving back from Seattle to Chicago and had taken the car out with one company, then scheduled with another company to come back. But, that company never came. I had told them that I needed it picked up right away because I was in an urgent situation. They said, “Yeah, yeah, yeah.” And then, they put it up for very cheap, and it didn’t get picked up. And every time I called, at first, they would answer and say, “Oh, we’re trying so hard, but it’s holiday time,” and then, they stopped answering my calls.

I had to move a vehicle from Virginia to California. When I was checking different transport companies, I saw very good reviews for Sherpa. Even though I got a price quote from other companies for 1,150 and 1,100, I preferred Sherpa's 1,250 because of the good feedback. I needed a transport service to ship my vehicle from Los Angeles to Florida where I am now stationed. I called a few different places. Every time I speak with somebody, I felt most comfortable with the person I was speaking to through Sherpa about the actual services that were directing the drivers that pick up to us. Sherpa offered me the best price, and their customer service was very helpful. Even the people that they hired to pick up the vehicle were helpful and kept me informed along the way. The quote I was given was the final pay off and it did not change throughout the process. Finding a driver took a little bit, and it wasn't 'till the day prior that they found a driver. It was also the last day the vehicle needed to be picked up. Having somebody to take that a little bit sooner would have been better for comfort. Other than that, my experience with Sherpa was great and they made my experience easy.

I would definitely recommend Sherpa Auto Transport. They shipped the 2006 Toyota Camry from Washington state to Maryland. I called another broker and they changed the price on me three times, so I canceled with that one. Then I saw a television advertisement for Sherpa's service and decided to try them. After giving me the initial quote, they didn't change the price on me. Also, their price was cheaper and there was a $200 difference in their quote compared to other transport companies that I looked at. But the final price did not match the initial quote and it is still being negotiated because the $200 difference includes $100 reimbursement with the TV advertisements. So, I'm still trying to get $100 back but in the Visa card form and there are a couple of steps involved with that.

I had a ’98 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck transported with Sherpa from South Carolina to Indiana. The reviews on Sherpa online were pretty good. I also liked that they had online scheduling and unlike some of the other companies that I tried to deal with, they didn’t harass me every other day. They weren’t the cheapest, but they were towards the bottom. The truck had very big sentimental value to my family, so it was very important that I wasn’t just going after the cheapest Joe Shmoe. So, I just had a good gut feeling with them, so that’s why I went with them. I called, scheduled it, set it all up and gave the rep my credit card so she could find a driver. The next day, they said they had a driver, and the driver picked it up the day after that and returned it to me the same day.

When I set the transport up, their customer service was very helpful. They cleared everything up before we decided to spend the money with them and nothing was hidden nor sounded off. The cars were then picked up when they said they were gonna be picked up, and they were delivered when they said they were gonna be delivered. We got the cars in a place a mile from our house where the big truck could park and the amount we paid was the amount we were quoted at the start. Sherpa Auto Transport was reliable and did what they promised to do. We were completely happy with the service.

Then he kept me posted throughout the days that he was driving it. And then, on the couple hours before it was going to arrive here in Florida, he called me. And then when it got here, he called me again. He was great. It was supposed to take seven days but it was three or four.

I bought a low-mileage Audi convertible in Kentucky. I was gonna fly down and drive it to Massachusetts, but I didn't wanna put a thousand miles on it, and so I had a truck back. I called three transport companies and I decided I'd use Sherpa Auto Transport as they were the cheapest. My price was 725, which was great. Also, the girl I talked to seemed nice and wasn't playing games. Even after I made that decision, she told me that they would give me a $100 rebate card. I booked the transport on a Wednesday afternoon and the girl told me that it might take a few days. But then, I got a call from the dealer the next morning and they told me that an auto transport company was picking my car up. I told them that that cannot be as it was gonna be at least a few days, but they told me that the guy has my address and everything matched. So I said, “Well, take the car then, Sherpa Auto Transport.”

I was moving from New York to California and needs to transport my 2017 Subaru RX for 2700 miles. I looked at a dozen of transport companies but I went with Sherpa for their great reviews. Their quote was above average in terms of what I was expecting to pay, but I was willing to pay extra for quality work. They handled my situation very well and got the car to me ahead of schedule. They brought the car to me because of the way my parking lot is designed in the new apartment. It was a little up the street, but still within a few hundred feet walking distance. The car was dirty when it arrived, but because it was driven across the country. I was very happy with the work they did.

However, it arrived late, unloaded in the wrong location, with multiple points of damage including a completely shattered back window. I could not reach their customer service to make a claim and so far I have had to contact my own insurance agency to try to deal with fixing the car. Even worse, the driver could barely communicate with me in English, but he did know how to try bribe me with cash! What a joke of a business. The whole experience was a nightmare. 0/10. Easily the worst commercial transaction I have ever made in my life. To be as polite as possible, I would avoid doing any business with Sherpa.

I was looking for some good transport companies that would transport my BMW 2018 X5 from Chicago to Los Angeles, California. When I Google searched the best transport companies, ConsumerAffairs.com was one of them that came up with a list of all the different vehicle companies. That guided through the entire process. I looked at 10 to 11 companies but Sherpa was 100% confident in assuring a driver for me. The other companies were not confident because it was around the December timeframe where it was Christmas and that it was very difficult to get the drivers. The price was also one factor that made me go with Sherpa. The quote that I was given was really the most appropriate one. I researched online and I found that their price was absolutely fine and they did not charge us a lot.

Everything was exactly as promised, the driver was very professional and caring. My car arrived on time (even a little earlier) and very clean. They have a very good post-delivery communication program. Congratulations.

From start to finish, the service was really good. I did not face any issues anywhere in service, communication, pick up and delivery of car. And the most important is car was in the same condition how it was during pick up, which most providers will not take care of this.

I purchased a wrecked vehicle out of Texas and needed it shipped to Utah. I was getting my quote and he said they would send somebody out there and fix the car a bit, so that added additional time on getting it to transport. They could’ve just had somebody over there and pick up the car even if it was a non-drivable vehicle to cut down on the amount of time to actually get the vehicle.

Also, they sounded like they could get it done a little quicker. But it ended up not being so. When we booked with them, the process was quick and easy. Meanwhile, I went online to check Sherpa and read responses from other people that have used their services. I found they have high ratings and so I dealt with Sherpa. They provided the driver of the independent company that shipped it. The company was in contact with me. They picked up the car when they said they were gonna pick it up. They even called me later that day because they wanted to deliver it that night. Since they won't be there until 12:00 midnight, I told them to deliver it at 8:30 in the morning and they delivered it when they said they would deliver it. While I had paid for an open trailer, the car came in a closed trailer. It arrived when we had a snowstorm and when they opened the trailer, the car was perfect.

It was only on the day of the pickup itself that I knew who was gonna be the driver and what time they're gonna pick the car up. But then during the delivery, the carrier driver and I communicated very well. The cost that I paid at the very end was very accurate and it was excellent considering the service I received.

I purchased an old Mustang in California and had it shipped to Indiana. I went with Sherpa because of the timing. I called and the rep set it up. She did a good job. The quote was too high but the accuracy to the final price was perfect. From the time the driver picked it up until I got it, it took two days. On the delivery, the gentleman called and said he would be at Walmart about six miles from my house. We met in there and picked it up.
