Sherpa Auto Transport Reviews

I was moving across the country for a job and I needed to have the car transported separately. I looked into three auto transport companies and I felt that Sherpa was more professional than the others. I also had a better understanding from them as to how things worked given the fact it was the first time I had ever done that. And from a price standpoint, Sherpa was not the cheapest, but I felt like they would be held more accountable. There were more checks and balances in place about the condition of the car and overall business quality.

The driver met me in a parking lot. I walked around the car, made sure it wasn't screwed up, and signed the paper. I hopped in the car, and I drove away. The service was as advertised, so I'm happy. The quote was also about the same as some of the other companies I talked to.

I was referred to Sherpa by a friend. I called on one day and we discussed what I needed, and then I left a deposit. It was very simple and easy and their customer service was awesome. The guy then picked up the car on the 15th of December, and then he delivered on the 17th.

Sherpa Auto Transport was pretty upfront. They came out and told me that they were a brokerage. My interactions with them were positive. But we weren't able to really communicate with the driver up until the day that the car was picked up. So it would be good if we could have contact and instructions from them to coordinate things.

Sherpa's customer service was really good. At one point, I thought I was gonna pay with a credit card and realized it costs more. When I ended up figuring out how to get money to my daughter so she could pay on the other side, they put the price back where it was before, so I was happy with that. The driver was good. He called, let me know before he got here and when he got here to coordinate, and picked them up and brought them to my house. He took the car that I was shipping back and put it on the truck. My daughter didn't seem to have any complaints other than it being really dirty when it got there. That was partly the road, and partly, it had been sitting here under a tree in spring pollen since she'd left. It hadn’t been in the wash.

Everything went well with Sherpa. I needed to get my vehicle from California to New York. It was a smooth process from beginning to end. I didn’t have any issues with them at all. I researched two other companies before going with Sherpa. Then I realized that I had used Sherpa in the past. So, I decided to go with them. I worked with a great coordinator. He had great customer service. He was able to answer all of my questions. He was pleasant to interact with.

It has been a while since I talked to Jeremy, the rep I worked with, but it was a very pleasant conversation. I liked the service from Sherpa and I'm very happy.

We had a vehicle transported by Sherpa from California. They were very on time and very professional. We like their price, and the person we spoke to was very helpful. He gave us information and things to look for when we were getting prices. The company was good. The person who delivered the car was very friendly and helpful too.

Some places gave me a higher quote and Sherpa came down a little bit. They had good reviews online and I like the name too. I went with them and they did a good job of keeping me informed. The vehicle went to my daughter out in Washington and everything went well. There was a little bit of delay due to mechanical issues on the truck. They ended up picking up on Christmas Day and the driver was very apologetic about that. With covid, we weren't doing anything for Christmas so it was no big deal for us.

The experience of transporting my car to Florida was easy and hassle-free. The car was picked up early and delivery ahead of schedule which allowed me to get to FL and out of the cold. The driver was friendly and professional.

I had a personal vehicle transported from California to Pennsylvania. I used Sherpa. About a year ago, I also used them when I had to have my car shipped from Pennsylvania to California. I liked their cost and how quickly they could pick up the car. The customer service was pretty good both times. As far as the quote, the first one was very good and very competitive. The second one was more expensive, but I didn't have a whole lot of time to shop around. For the first trip, they were about 100 bucks cheaper. The second one was $400 more expensive but the service was still good. Sherpa was very good, very easy to deal with and very prompt.

I read at least six reviews about auto transport, and Sherpa’s reviews were across the board stronger than the others in almost every category like reliability, price, responsiveness and communication. Their customer service was fantastic. I received email updates. It snowed right before I was supposed to have my car shipped. So, there were some delays with the weather. Everything was perfect. They were highly responsive and transparent with every part of the process. I wish I had done this in my prior moves in my life. Sherpa was a great company to go with, and it's the one I will definitely recommend to others.

Robert, the coordinator was very good and Ivan, the driver, was great. He transported my car from Amherst to Arizona. He picked up the car on the 2nd and it was delivered on the 7th. I would use Ivan again.

Sherpa had good ratings and the quote they gave me was fair, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Their representative was really good. He helped me a lot. We had a little hiccup on certain things and they were able to help me retain the shipment and get things going. The vehicle was delivered a little late at night but it was actually a few days earlier than expected. I was off so it was okay for me, but I felt bad for the driver for driving the whole night and having to deliver that late. Other than that, everything was good. We had no damage to the vehicle, so we really appreciated everything. It was a good experience and I would definitely recommend Sherpa to anybody. I would probably use them again if I'd absolutely need to.

I was moving from Florida to California and didn't want to drive. I compared quotes between a few companies. Sherpa had the best price. Their customer service rep was fantastic. In the beginning, the quote was a little bit pricier, but when I told them, "Hey, can you charge me a little less," they matched it through a rebate. They also beat my timeframe expectations. I would definitely go through Sherpa again or recommend if anybody else needs it.

I looked at the reviews and Sherpa Auto Transport had good reviews. When I talked to the brokers, they were willing to negotiate with me a little bit. However, I was supposed to get a $100 gift card back as a rebate, and I didn't get that yet. I'm not sure that's gonna happen, but hopefully, it will. Apart from that, the communication was good with the driver. It was good with the Sherpa rep that set it up as well. He made it simple to do. Also, pick-up was great. The driver was on time and he was cordial. I had my daughter do the drop-off because we weren't yet in the state and she had no issues either.

I had a really positive experience with Sherpa. They had shorter like, “We'll pick it up from this time to this time.” They said, “We'll pick it when you need it” and the price was about the same. I was impressed with the level of expertise and knowledge of the reps. They were good at communicating. They did everything on time. They were great. I loved it.

The experience was positive and I would use Sherpa again. They were very nice and seemed very trustworthy. The process was super easy and painless. Everything was as described in the initial process of setting it all up and the timing was on point. I had known in advance the nature of car transport in the US and how transport companies will contact brokers. It's not like a Sherpa driver. Being informed on my end, I kind of knew what to expect. That helped.

I would like a little better pricing from Sherpa, but aside from that, I'm happy with the service. I've used Sherpa before and it was on time. This time, the transport was from Denver, Colorado to Washington D.C. Everything was fine.

It came a bit early, so the guy had to wait a bit, which was fine. He was very nice about it. I used Sherpa in another move a year before and loved it, so I used them again and I will keep using them. I'll definitely refer them to friends and family. I enjoyed my experience.

I had hit a deer out of state and needed to get my car back to where I lived. I looked at a bunch of companies and given that I wasn't going to be with my car and I’m sending it up to a place to be repaired, I wanted to make sure that it was a reputable service. Considering the reviews that I've seen, I went with Sherpa and they were able to get things sorted out very quickly in a holiday weekend. It was very easy. The quote was very reasonable too. Some of the competitors were offering ones that seemed almost too low. I would use Sherpa again or recommend them to others.

Everything went great. Everyone was nice and everything was right on time. My car was dirty but it was fine. The rep was awesome. She was nice and understanding. I was running a few minutes late and she was very nice with it. She didn't get an attitude like some people would. The driver was awesome too and the quote was right on point. They told me $1,200 - $200 deposit and $1,000 at pickup, and that's exactly what it was.

Communication was well, even with the driver, up until the time I received my car. It took them two days to transport it from California to Oregon and everything was fine.

I went with Sherpa for the quick pick-up time trend and good customer service. They have good reviews too. They delivered the vehicle right to our door. Everything was perfect and I'd highly recommend them. They could have a better-looking website though. It was user-friendly but a lot of these websites don’t look as professional as they should be for their service.

Sherpa offered a healthcare discount for working as a frontline worker that's why I chose them. They also offered a $20 voucher for a carwash when you get a car delivered. That was really cool. They were organized and everything was seamless. The driver was very professional, polite and arrived early which was a good thing. He gave me a three-day window and he showed up on the first day of that window. With the holidays and the snow, I was anticipating he would be late.

I shipped two cars using Sherpa Auto Transport during the month of DEC 2020. First car I shipped was a 2019 Honda Civic Hatchback from Austin, TX to San Diego, CA. The 2nd car I shipped was a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT from San Diego, CA to Lehi, UT. On the first car shipment, their sales agent Angie was very helpful. She took the time to explain to me the process involved in shipping a car and she also noted that Sherpa Auto Transport has a "price lock" guarantee. This to me was one of the reasons I chose to ship with them.

We searched for several weeks for a reliable and trustworthy auto transport company (with a fixed rate), and after research decided on Sherpa. We could not have had a better experience. Both Sherpa and the contracted transport company were outstanding and made the entire experience seamless and easy. Couldn’t recommend more. A+++.

I scheduled two cars to be picked up in Connecticut and moved to Texas. The pick up date worked well but the delivery window did not. I was given a delivery window of December 8-10 but the driver wanted to drop them off on the 6th, at night!!! I have a good friend that was able to be available at the newly negotiated December 7th. I didn’t want the 7th but it’s as if I had no choice. I should have held Sherpa to the agreed upon delivery date.

I had a great experience having my car shipped with Sherpa. They found me a driver the very first day the car was available for shipment, the driver was at my parents’ house to pick up the vehicle the very next day, and he arrived at my house almost 1000 miles away the day after that! Two days ahead of schedule! And although I chose to go with open transport, the gentleman arrived with my car in a covered trailer, no extra charge. The whole experience was convenient, timely, professional, and cost effective. I highly recommend Sherpa for one’s automotive transportation needs.

I like the price, the timing and the overall value of what I’m getting with Sherpa. We communicated with the driver when the vehicle was picked up, when he was on his way, and as he got closer.

Our experience with Sherpa was very professional. The one who was accepting my order was very kind. The vehicle was delivered faster than I expected. It was today, delivery was at night. The guy who was picking up the car took a lot of photos of the car. When he was giving me the car, he explained it all, the process and how it was transported. So, if I had any questions, he gave me the link to the form that I need to fill upon inspection. There were no damages to the vehicle upon arrival too. It was definitely a good experience.

Everything was really easy with Sherpa. It was like, "What address is it from, what address is it going to?” Then they said the price. The driver was fantastic too.

The reps at Sherpa were great with communication. The interaction with them was very painless. Also, the quote was fair and it was quick delivery, too. The driver got to our street and said there were too many short limbs hanging. We ended up meeting him on a busier street, just a block over. But it was an easy transfer of getting the car off and then us getting in it.

We found Sherpa through the internet while we were reading reviews and we have now used them twice. The communication we received from their reps has been good. We had a couple of different other companies in the past and we had communication issues with them. But we have not had that with Sherpa at all. They stayed in touch and everything was accurate. What they said the estimate would be was the actual cost in the end.

I solicited carriers myself on the internet and had concerns. I then contacted Sherpa - and the results were exactly as they had advertised. They provided a carrier within a 3-day window - and the vehicle arrived in 5-days from pick-up including a weekend, driveway-to-driveway. My first time trusting an open transport and it turned out wonderful. I will use them again if the need arises. The price for the oversight & possibilities was good. Could not fly and risk driving back for that price.

My brother had passed away and his car was in Illinois and I needed to get it to Florida. The customer service team at Sherpa was wonderful. The quote they gave was on the high side but since COVID and people not going state to state, it was about what I expected. The delivery crew was wonderful as well. I live in a gated subdivision and they were in an enormous tractor-trailer made for moving vehicles. So they weren't able to pull in. I walked to the other side of the gate and when I saw their truck coming, I flashed the flashlight I had and they pulled over.

I liked that Sherpa was transparent about the broker, bidding, and pricing. I also liked the insurance that they gave for 300 bucks of the bids. The coordinator was was great as well and the quote was the same as the final cost. Plus, the communication from Sherpa and the driver were both excellent. We've shipped our car a number of times and the pickup and delivery were by far the easiest. They were on time, came when they said they were going to, really fast across the country, and really easy to work with. I would do it again.

Harold our driver was super professional and one time to pick up the vehicles. Harold delivered the vehicles on time as well and the entire experience was great. We will definitely use Sherpa Auto Transport and Harold again if we move. Hopefully, we don't have to move again.

The Sherpa rep I dealt with was super awesome. The initial quote and the ending bill were the same. My car's condition when it came was what I expected. It was a little bit dirty, but it was driven.

I cancelled with the first company that I went with and then I saw the Sherpa advertisement online. It looked very decent to me and I contacted them. They said they could do the move for $2,300. They also guaranteed that it would be an enclosed transport and that my car would be delivered within six days. So I signed up with them. They picked up my car on a Wednesday and it was delivered on Saturday morning, so it was within three days. The drivers told me they drove day and night. They took turns driving. The drivers and Sherpa called me. They kept me informed at all times where my car was so I could expect delivery and communicate with the person that was receiving it in Portland. It was excellent communication. They really took good care of my car.

I trusted Sherpa from the beginning to the end and I was satisfied with the service. Everything was clear and I had answers on my questions. My car was transported very well and I paid exactly the same amount as the quote that I received. I expected a little bit late delivery but it was very fast. The car was picked up November 5th and delivered late evening on November 6th. I talked to the driver and we found the place where he could pick up my car. When he arrived in Florida, he parked somewhere but delivered the car to the address of destination. It was very convenient and the car was in the same condition as it was picked it up. If I or somebody needs to move a car, I will definitely recommend Sherpa.

I was moving across states. I went online and used three websites that were pretty reliable. I called the top 3 auto transport companies that received the highest reviews. I made a call to Sherpa as they were within the top 3 and the initial quote was almost exactly the same as the other company I was considering. I told the Sherpa person to call me back in 30 minutes because I had to discuss with my fiance the pros and cons with each company. We looked at the reviews on the Sherpa website before we received a callback.

Sherpa is the greatest ever. I had them move my automobile from Florida to Connecticut. The customer service team was wonderful. They informed me, kept informing me of what was going on and approximately when it would be picked up. I can't say enough good about them. The driver was also wonderful. He kept in touch with me regarding the pickup, the best place to pick up and drop off. Everything was great.

I didn't have any problems understanding how the process worked. The quote we got was kind of what I was expecting and it was accurate. When I initially made the arrangement, the fellow said that I would get a $100 rebate in the form of a Visa card.

My son is in the Navy and was relocated to San Diego and we needed to ship his car out to him. Sherpa wasn't the cheapest transport company, but when they said they were going to pick up the car, and when they were going to deliver it, that's what they did. Sherpa was very forthcoming in what they were talking about. Also, whatever price they quoted, that was the price it was going to be. There wasn't going to be a bump up in price.

I was very aware of their policies as well as the things to look for as far as making sure that everything was what it was supposed to be before the car left and when it arrived.

I was moving back home to Texas, from Oregon, because of COVID. I needed to get my car back to Texas. The quotes Sherpa provided me was a little high. They were within $100 of what I was expecting. But my experience with their reps was great. Everyone was super friendly, really patient and answered all my questions. The driver had to change location because I live in a residential, small street neighborhood. He was proactive in letting me know that he didn't think he would be able to fit on the street. He called me a couple of hours before he got there and we chose a new destination. So, he was good about recognizing that and helping to coordinate a new meeting place.

I was gonna relocate from Massachusetts to California so I needed to transport the vehicle. Sherpa had better customer reviews and they're a little expensive than the other quotes that were provided by others but I still went with them because the time and the quality of the service were better. They were very responsive and very efficient in finding the driver who delivered the vehicle on time.

My Transporter was so personal and good at his profession. I saw a video of him loading it onto his trailer. He picked up on day stated & dropped off as promised. Not a scratch on it. He drove it right into my carport in front of my apt. Very pleased. No worries.

I looked at a couple of companies that were at the lower end of the price range that also had decent ratings, and chose to go with Sherpa first. They responded first. Everything was coordinated by email. The quote they gave us was basically what it cost once it was complete. The car was delivered faster than we thought. The driver was perfectly agreeable and professional. The car was pretty dirty because it was an open transporter. But they did offer a free carwash.

I needed a transport service because I bought an antique car. Sherpa was a little less money compared to the other companies. They could also pick the vehicle up on Friday and have it delivered on Sunday. Everything was A-OK with their customer service team. The equipment they had was also very nice. It was very helpful. A 1935 Chevrolet, so they had to be patient with it to get it started, make sure it had enough gas, and they only had to go half a block to the garage. If somebody wanted to call me, I'd be happy to recommend Sherpa.

Sherpa transported my vehicle from a primary residence to a secondary residence. I liked their reviews and the discussion I had with the person who booked it. The customer service rep was upfront and responsive, and called me back when she needed to. She reassured me that the experience would be positive, and it was. The original quote was the same quote that I had. It was high compared to some of the other quotes I had, but it wasn't the highest. It was the second highest of the four quotes I got.

A couple years ago, my wife and I started living in two locations on two coasts. So, we split our time since we're both retired both in Massachusetts and California. So, we had access to a car while we were here in California. Over the first few years, that car died after a long life. He had multiple stops and pick-ups, so I asked him to stay in communication with me to give me updates and he kept on following up with me. I asked for a text versus a phone call and he did. It went very smoothly. They more than met my expectation.

Sherpa's rep kind of dogged me at some things, but he was very nice. The quote in the beginning and the final bill matched. I had concerns because they provided me with a quote, and then, at the very end, they have this statement, “And we'll provide $300 of our own money if necessary." So, I had concerns that the price might change. We finally went with them. I've never done this before, so that was unsettling and apparently, we learned that the price can change. But I would recommend them. They got the car here. They did it on time. They actually were a little early, and it worked out just fine.

I purchased a vehicle that was located in Florida and I'm located in Connecticut. So, I needed to transport the vehicle. I went online and Googled transportation companies. For the most part, choosing Sherpa had to do with the reviews that I was seeing on Google. They were good. I dealt with three people and everybody was very professional. They gave me a price right up front and there weren’t any shenanigans. As it turned out, I was able to even get a $100 rebate on my original price because I asked them. So that was great, too.

I'm becoming a snowbird. I'm moving back and forth between the two coasts. So, I drove the motorhome and had the car shipped. The auto brokers matched us up with Sherpa. The quote was about what I thought it was going to be. I knew it’s gonna be pricey, but it was reasonable for what they had to do. I was late in getting here. I had to rely on my brother in law to meet them on the delivery. That was a little tricky because we ended up having them take it to a different location. The one I had thought we could do was too busy traffic-wise. But they were very cooperative and very good. The driver, from what my brother-in-law said, was very good. Sherpa is a very good company. I would certainly recommend them if someone asked me.

I googled best auto shippers and Sherpa always came up on a couple of cross-references. I went with them and they were good all the way up. They called me a lot and I told them my situation. I was not ready yet ‘cause I had to send out money, get the title, and make sure the truck could get out of there. I had to finalize a deal and that probably took about a month. But they kept up with me. Once it was ready to go, I gave them a call. They gave me a call the next day that they were gonna pick it up the next day in Seattle. It was here in Philadelphia after about nine days. The initial quote was 18 and the final bill was 19. They gave me $100 prepaid card so it was kinda equal.

I had Sherpa transport my Toyota Corolla from Las Vegas to Boynton Beach, Florida. I liked ther guaranteed price. The quote was a little high, but the final pricing was spot-on. They delivered the vehicle when it was promised. It was perfect. Use them.

We were moving and needed a transport company, and we called the broker. He picked Sherpa. The initial quote and the ending bill were the same. The driver came, said who he was, loaded the vehicle up in his truck and left. The condition of the vehicle was the same when it was delivered. It was very smooth using Sherpa.

I googled auto transport and about 50 of them came up. I kind of weeded them down and started getting some bids. I must’ve had at least 10 bids. Sherpa wasn't the cheapest but when I called them, I talked to a gal and she was very informative. She provided excellent customer service. I understand that she was probably just a broker but that's okay. We had an issue with the picking up of the car, the delivering of the car, and who was going to pick it up up here because we weren't going to be here. The gal worked excellent with me on that and got all the information to the driver. The driver called me several times. We've talked on the phone and arranged a meeting place outside of the development but in a commercial setting where he was able to get his truck in. There were lots of communication so that was good. It was a good experience. Sherpa did what I wanted them to do and the final bill was the same as the initial quote.

My experience with Sherpa Auto Transport was very positive. The arrangements and scheduling was easy. I was kept informed of their progress. They found a driver quickly and he was professional and got my vehicle to its destination safely and quickly. The cost of the service was well worth the price. I will use them again in the future.

We had my car that I inherited transported from my father to me and the experience was a great one. The timing was exceptional even though it was not shipped exactly on the date I requested, it was shipped a few days after which was fine for me. The price quoted was exactly what I paid. Sherpa contacted me by email each day with a status as they were attempting to acquire a driver. They called me back when I called with any questions and they contacted me once they secured a driver. They sent all of the details by email and I was able to communicate with the transport company easily.

Sherpa has the best rate and got back really quickly. Also, they weren't too pushy like some of the other ones. I couldn't do the direct pickup and drop off because the car wouldn't fit by where I lived but it was easy to figure that out. The reps were super helpful. I used Sherpa one other time and it was super easy. This time around, the rate was a little more expensive than last time for covid reasons but it was still better than what I had found in other places. The quote they gave me initially was what I ended up paying. The transport was from Texas to California and it was completed in 4 days. It was super fast. I'll keep using them back-and-forth.

I spent a little over a month researching and I ended up on a transporting website that ranks the best auto transporters. I talked to five different transporters but chose Sherpa because while their price was a little bit higher than what everyone was quoting, they had a price guarantee. And they would cover $300 if the price fluctuated above what they quoted me, which gave me a sense of security. The customer service was awesome and the individual who spoke with me through the entire process was great. He able to work with me because my fiancé worked from home. So, he called me at the right time so that we could all be on the phone together. It was an easy process. Sherpa quoted me 7 to 10 days for the transport but the vehicle was there in 5. Even when I wasn't there yet, because I drove to California from Virginia, they held on to the vehicle, worked with me and waited until I arrived.

When I went on to a lot of different lists or articles that were written, the name Sherpa kept coming up as they were on a list of the most reliable and the most professional. That was a name that repeatedly came up in my search as a credible company. Then when I went in and read the customer reviews, people seemed happy with them. Their customer service was great. The guy I first spoke to gave me a lot of details. He was very professional. I told him that my son's car was being worked on and I couldn't really commit at that point because I didn't know when the car would be ready. It was maybe on Thursday, and I said they'd definitely have it over the weekend. He said, “How about I follow up with you on Monday at four o'clock?”

Sherpa seemed more knowledgeable and more truthful over other companies so I went with them when I shipped my car. The sales rep was excellent and the driver was a nice guy. Also, the quote I was given was exactly the same as the amount I ended up paying. The transport was 1,500 miles and it took a week. They picked the car up on the 11th and I asked them not to deliver it before the 17th because I had to fly here. I'm sure it would have been sooner but I asked them not to. The driver was able to meet me and he went out of his way. I originally wanted them to bring it to the house that I bought but I ended up being at a hotel a day longer so he delivered the car to the hotel, which was great. I already told someone about Sherpa. I said, "If you're going to transport your car, use them."

My dad and stepmom sold their home in California, and my son drove the car from California to Minnesota. But after they sold their home here, and 23 years of marriage, my stepmom decided she didn't want to be married anymore. I wanted to look for the quickest way for my dad to get his car back to California to have some familiarity. So, I just googled "car transports" and saw Sherpa was a really good deal in comparison to what they paid my son to drive his car. They also had dogs that he brought across, but they paid him more money than what I paid for him to get his car back. I saw the price, it had good reviews, and I just said, “Accept. And sure enough. I needed to have my car shipped from Seattle, Washington to Gainesville, Florida and the shipping company that they used, K & S Trucking, was amazing. The person that I worked with kept in touch with me throughout the entire process and the driver was very professional. I was so impressed with them and the quote was exactly what I was charged. It was spot-on. I wanted to get my car in one piece and have it well taken care of and I definitely feel like I did. If I ever have to ship another car, I'll be calling them.

The car was jointly inspected, loaded and tied down to my satisfaction and it arrived at the destination in the same condition it was picked up - no issues. My only minor gripe was that neither I at the pickup or my daughter at the destination received the stated 24 hour notice of pick up and delivery. But this was not a problem for me or my daughter and as the car arrived without damage or incident I don't see this as an issue. Overall a quick and painless transaction and I would recommend Sherpa for transporting your vehicle.

The few other companies I called didn't do that so Sherpa seemed more reliable. The reps were knowledgeable about what they were doing. The quote was exactly what I had to spend. I had $100 rebate because I'm military. The driver reached out and let me know he was close and when he was gonna be there. Then he let me know he was on his way to me. I had someone else receive my vehicle for me at first and I just got my vehicle back. I received it in the same condition I gave it to Sherpa. Overall, it's a fair and reliable service. I'd recommend it if you need to ship a vehicle.

I was moving two cars and when I read reviews online for Sherpa, they came back very positive. It was excellent dealing with the customer service rep when I called for the setup, and the initial quote and the ending cost were the same thing. They were super quick to find transport, so fast that I actually had to reschedule for the following day, which they were happy to accommodate with a new carrier. We were moving from state to state. Sherpa transported three vehicles for us. Two SUVs and one sedan. Our experience with Sherpa was really very seamless and painless. The rep gave me an estimate. I gave him the dates and he called me or emailed me a week before and confirmed. They showed up on time and it was delivered on time. The driver called also. The agents were very knowledgeable and very easy to help. The quote was the same as the final price. So, that was good. During the delivery, they gave us a window of a couple of days and they narrowed that down to a couple of hours. The driver called at least once and updated us on the route and where he was at. It happened when he said it would happen. They were professional and they knew what they were doing. They took good care of the vehicles too.

I’ve used Sherpa before so when I was moving a car, I had them transport it from Orlando to Texas. I emailed somebody, they emailed and called me back, and set it up. The quote was very accurate and the experience with Sherpa was good.

They would pick up any difference so the pricing was very good compared to a lot of others. During the delivery, the gentleman made an effort to call me three times. It was a difficult delivery for parking so we had to find another place to deliver. But the guy made it, called me and did a nice job. It was pouring down rain too but he was there. Sherpa did what they said, showed up on time and kept me informed. So, it was great and I recommended them to another friend who's gonna be relocating out to Houston.

I did an internet search, then I went for the Better Business Bureau ratings and positive customer reviews. I signed up with Sherpa and the communication with their coordinator was very good. The quote they gave me was about the same as the final cost but the driver ended up damaging the car. It wasn't a serious damage but it's kind of a unique car. It came off of the back of the transport vehicle twice when he was unloading it and it just slid off one side of the ramps. But he paid to get it fixed, so no complaints there and it was a good experience overall.

My daughter was moving from New Jersey to California. We had to use Sherpa, and it was an amazing experience. The last time she moved from Texas to New Jersey, we used a different transport and it was a nightmare. Her car got damaged and it was just off. They weren't there when they said they were gonna be there. But as far as Sherpa, when they said they were gonna be there, they were there. They picked up the car when they said they would. They dropped it off when they said they would. The car was in the same condition that it left. Nothing happened to it. I would definitely use Sherpa again. If I decide to move across the country to California to be near my daughter, I would use Sherpa to transport my car.

It would have been nicer to know how quickly I might receive the car, but it was fine. It was within that three-day window that they said it would be. I did have to travel a little way to meet the guy because I live in a dense city, and he wasn't able to move the truck around. I didn't get door-to-door delivery, but it was fine. Booking my transport was very easy. Sherpa had answers to my questions and let me know at least a week in advance of my pick up date for transport. The day the vehicle was to be picked up I received a call letting me know that pick up would be at 3pm. By 7pm we realized the vehicle was not being picked up. I could not reach Sherpa or The transport company. I called the transport company first thing the next day. Took them a bit to figure out my car then said he would pick up later today. The pick up went well and car arrived quickly. Communication was poor during the first scheduled day but because of the quick delivery, I would give them another try.

They were there when they said they were going to be and they arrived when they said they were going to be. The transport was from New Mexico to Utah and it took two days. The final cost was exactly what they quoted.

My brother is in a nursing home and I had to transport his 1970 Chevelle to me in California. I called a couple of transport companies but none of them answered so I decided to try Sherpa. They answered and helped me right away. The move was from Ohio and they called me every step of the way and even gave me the driver's number. There was constant communication and the delivery took less than a week. Also, when the guy picked up the car, they couldn't get it to start and when he delivered it, he had gotten it to start. The driver was excellent and I'm grateful they got the car to start. I recommended Sherpa to a friend and sent their number. I told my friend they were great and to call them.

The driver was good and I gave him a $100 tip. He was a nice guy. I liked the way he looked and the way he acted.

I bought a brand new car and the driver from the car transport company that was hired to move my car from one dealership to another totaled it. Mine got in a car accident, and the truck was totaled due to somebody else's fault. The insurance company bound us pretty hard and wouldn't transport our vehicle even though I paid for the services so I was in between a rock and a hard place. I did everything online with Sherpa. I talked to somebody for five minutes or less than that just to make sure that I had everything confirmed. Then I did my internet quote thing and that was it. I had a driver assigned within five minutes of me hitting the submit button on their website.

From the day I contracted Sherpa, the service was awesome in terms of keeping me posted when a driver was found and when I could expect the car to arrive from Wetumpka, Alabama to Deer Park, Texas. The driver was really a veteran at his craft and professional. Communicated all along the way here giving us "heads up" on his arrival time. The agents were terrific. Never had something go so superb as dealing with all involved. Would not hesitate to recommend Sherpa to a friend. The car showed up unscathed even though it was on an open trailer. This car was inoperable, so the driver had to carefully winch the car on and off the trailer. Not an easy job. Also, their drivers have to grade out rather high.

Sherpa was excellent. I emailed them and someone called me immediately. Within one day, everything was set up, and I was very impressed with their customer service. The quote I got was right on. It was actually my sister’s car, she just didn’t have the energy to take care of it so I did it for her. Sherpa communicated with her. She flew home, and the next day, her car was delivered. She was just a little bummed because she wanted her $20 carwash.

I had used Sherpa before. They were not the least expensive but they were reliable which is more important. I had a very bad experience many years ago and reliability is my most important criterion. United was the transport company at that time and they had driven my car. They delivered my car with not even enough gas to get to a gas station. It had 500 extra miles on it before, which was a lot of mileage. United offered me 31 cents a mile for the usage.

There was a Lexus, a Land Rover, and a Mercedes and then there was my little 17-year-old Ford Focus. I talked to a couple of different folks and they were all good and nice. They were very well-spoken, and they answered any questions I had. Everything went beautifully. The driver couldn't have been nicer and friendlier, and I felt like he really took care of my old car. He was great, but he hardly spoke English. I have a friend who speaks Spanish, and she was willing to communicate with him for my husband and I, especially at this end, when my car got dropped off.

The driver was also very professional. I chose a covered option for my Maserati. The price was fair to a little bit lower with a rebate. I'd definitely use them again.

Sherpa did the same as the rest of the guys, but they got me with the $300 guarantee that if they decided you're off a price, they would cover it. The representative was very professional and he did a good job. Their price was right in the ballpark and I got it a little knocked off. I had gotten cheaper quotes and Sherpa wouldn't budge, but then I got a $100 certificate coming back. It was a good experience. The delivery was very quick too. The car took four days to get here and it was just the way I had pictured it to be.

I found them online. The website was good, the reviews were good, and I thought I'd give them a try. The pick-up was fine even though there was a little issue with loading the car on this monster truck. One of the ramps fell off and I thought the car was gonna fall off onto the street, but the guys did a really good job about getting things put back together and got the car on there and then everything was fine. The delivery was perfect. We have a home in Florida as well as in Virginia. They're 850 miles apart and we did a move between them. It took two days and it was a day earlier than I expected it. Everything was smooth and good. I would use Sherpa again.

I did an internet search and looked at Sherpa and some other transport companies. I saw some pretty good reviews and I also read the different policies of how the companies work. When I called Sherpa first, I was very impressed with the young man that I spoke to. He explained everything very well. Other competitors weren't as good at explaining everything. I know that they put out bids and contract with independent contractors and I happen to use this GG Line LLC. They gave windows on what day the car would be picked up and what day it would be delivered. The window for pickup was either Thursday, October 1st, or Friday, October 2nd and it was actually picked up about 9:30 AM on October 1st, the first day, Thursday. Then they gave me the window for delivery of being either Tuesday through Friday of the following week.
