The process was smooth. The only issue was I was told I’d be notified when the driver was 1 hour to an hour and a half away but it was more like a 40 minute notice. So just make sure your vehicle is ready and don’t wait until last minute to prep it when you get your date.

I looked at about three companies and Sherpa was the best-quoted price and best-reviewed company. They gave me a complete rundown of what I should expect. It was almost like no question. They sent me emails. It was relatively simple. The representative seemed to know exactly what they were talking about. If there was any question I had, they were able to answer relatively quickly.
I had some people sign the delivery for me since I was still in the process of moving. They said they received the vehicle and the guy delivering it drove it off the truck. The quote was exactly as the representative told me. The pricing was fair due to the distance. The transport was quicker than I expected. It was very prompt and I didn't have to backtrack with a lot of other things that I had issues with. So I was very satisfied.

The rep from Sherpa was very direct and forward so I felt comfortable. Dimitri, the driver, did a very good job. He was probably the most impressive out of the whole deal. He was very professional. It was late at night when he had it delivered. We unhooked the car and he probably wanted to get on the road but it was good. I was okay with all that.

I called Sherpa up for an estimate and they gave me an estimate of 625. It was through a certain date and by the time I could line up on both ends, that date passed. So when I called back, it was $50 higher but they said they'd give me a $50 rebate, which seemed reasonable. It’s been several weeks since the car was shipped and I'm still waiting on that rebate. But other than that, everything had gone along well.
Sherpa said that it would be a one-to-two-day transport but there was no guarantee that the car would be picked up any time during the three days that was set up. I gave the dates of a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the week for the delivery when my daughter was off and available to receive the car. When I finally got contacted, the delivery was going to be Tuesday. Then the next contact I got said that it was going to be Wednesday. These guys that drive these cars were picking up from all different locations and the gentleman we used was supposed to pick up a new car from a dealership somewhere here in South Carolina. He wanted to pick it up on Sunday and they wouldn't let him. He had to wait until Monday then slipped my date from Tuesday to Wednesday.
Even though it was going to cost me $250, I was getting ready to cancel because of that. But then, he offered to bring it Tuesday night. So, he came at about 9:30 PM, we met him, and he took the car. So ultimately, that worked out that way. Then he got it to Virginia on Wednesday night at 10 o'clock. All in all, once you understand that they have these windows and times change and that's just the way it goes, you got to kind of make sure you're going to be fine during that entire window.

As our many reviews attest, we are known for our industry knowledge and being transparent and customer-centric. Due to the complexity of logistics, it’s very difficult to be accurate down to the specific timing of delivery too far in advance. This is why when we worked together we framed the pickup and delivery dates as windows of time because it, as you noted, more accurately reflects the auto transport process.

Sherpa was terrific. The driver was super cool and you could tell he was someone who loved what he did. It all went perfectly well and the quote was 100% accurate. We moved our original old Texas truck up to Michigan and it arrived exactly as it left so I'm all good. If we have to do it again, I'll use Sherpa.

Sherpa kept in contact with me. They let me know what was happening. Once they found the delivery service, it was pretty much just between me and them. It was pretty good. One of the guys that came and picked up the vehicle was the person that drove it down and delivered it. I met them down there and they were very polite. They did a great job taking care of the car. The rate was pretty reasonable, considering that they put the vehicle in a single loaded enclosed trailer by itself. So what I paid for a kind of more individualized service was well worth it.

Sherpa came well-recommended and was the most professional of the companies we vetted. They were not the cheapest, but they were also not the most expensive. They hit the sweet spot: they told us what they were going to charge, and that's what they charged us. No lowballing and added charges, but a reasonable price. Sherpa operates as a middleman to find a carrier that actually picks up and transports the car. I can’t complain about the end result but do wonder if I could have saved some money by doing the legwork myself? Overall I rate the actual carrier a 10

I purchased a car and I brought it from West Virginia to Portland. The coordinator got right on it, gave me a bid, stuck to his bid, and he got it done in about four days. Then I could call the driver if he's on the road. A very pleasant guy. It went smoothly. I was shocked.

Sherpa Auto Transport was the first one we talked to and their rep was very helpful with all the questions we had. We asked for the quote. She said the quote and gave us the going rate. We took her word for it. When we were ready to ship the vehicle, we reached out back to the rep. They were awesome from the get-go. Even when my son got there, the driver was cool. The cost was to where we expected. The car was in North Carolina like we wanted. Sherpa Auto Transport exceeded my expectations and we were happy.

I was happy with Sherpa's service. I did my due diligence online and checked out other companies. And Sherpa, from what I could tell, was the highest-rated one that I could find. Also, it was a reasonable price. Throughout the transport, I was able to stay in contact with them. I was very happy with the communication levels. The coordinator was great.

My wife moved a bit before me and Sherpa served her well. The car arrived in perfect condition and she was very happy. So, she referred Sherpa to me and I used them. I contacted them and gave the window time for the transportation I needed. After three days, they provided a driver. The driver came and picked up the car. I drove myself 10 minutes away from the place where I lived, because I lived in a place that was hilly. The driver used an 18-wheeler so he couldn't come up on the hill with a lot of sharp turns. I delivered the car and signed a paper. They inspected the car and marked all the defect parts in the vehicle. He loaded the car, then I flew to Florida. When I arrived after a few days, I got the call. After another day, the car was delivered to me. And then when the driver arrived, he unloaded the car and I inspected it. Everything was good, I signed the paper and he drove away. Everything went smooth. I felt pleased with the service.

The person in the office that I talked to was very informative. The quote I got was very fair. The vehicle was picked up on a Friday night in Virginia and delivered to us in Yakima, Washington on Monday afternoon, so less than 72 hours. We would do it again. We actually have a travel trailer back East. We're thinking of trying to figure out how to get home and we would call Sherpa first.

I got online, got the rating and called Sherpa. They did everything exactly like they said they would do and it turned out great. I gave the address where the car was going to be dropped off to and gave the rep a deposit. They gave me a confirmation the next day with the pickup time and the car was picked up when they said it would be. The driver texted me and also called me when he got the car picked up. He followed up with me later in the day to let me know where he was at and possibly where he would be, and what time he would be here the next day. Then he followed up the next day to let me know that he was about an hour out and that everything was on schedule. He got here when he said he would. Everything was perfect.

On the first car I shipped, I called a few places and Sherpa was the most responsive and had the most information. They made it the easiest to get the transport done. The original quote was 1,100. I delayed it a couple of months and the quote went up to 1,300. It was a big increase but it was alright. The next car I shipped was 1,700 so it kept escalating high. I was in a hurry and I needed it quick. If I would have had more time, I would have shopped around looking for a better price. It was such a wide range but other than that, it was fine. It was smooth and easy enough to do. The drivers didn’t communicate until I called them but when I called them for an update, they got back to me quickly so that was fine.

The representative that I spoke to was very professional, answered all my questions, offered more detail on what was online, and was attentive. So, I felt comfortable going through Sherpa. Also, their quote was very reasonable. It was a bit lower than others. I was there when the guy loaded the car, and then when he offloaded. He was very careful and communicated well about the process. Also, he came when he said he would. That went well. He was a lovely man. I would use Sherpa again.

They made the whole process simple. The driver stayed in communication and picked up on time. Delivery across country was 4 days. Driver was courteous and prompt, again staying in touch regarding delivery time. The 100.00 rebate even arrived in about 2 weeks, and Sherpa even gave a free car wash up to 20 when sending in receipt w/ Bill of lading. I've shipped cars many times and this was by far the best transaction. Thank you!

I called Sherpa, said what I had, and the rep said, "Sure, let me check on it." And while he was on the phone there, he made some calls and said he would get back with me. Within 15 minutes, he called me back and told me that they could do it for X-amount of dollars and in an approximate timeframe, and then, if I wanted to go ahead with it, to call him back. It was cut and dried. The driver shot me a text message before he showed up telling me when he would be there, then pulled up nicely so we could meet him. He unloaded, and then, we walked around, did an inspection and everything was golden. We exchanged niceties, and then he gathered up and went on his way. It was costly, but it was what I agreed to, and that was how it worked out. Sherpa did good.

I found Sherpa on a higher rating on Yelp, and I did more research after that. The initial contact with them was very good. The process was very well-explained. He was very professional, gave me all the prerequisite steps to take and to do, and what was going to take place during and after the pickup, and then, what to look for, and he carefully explained the charges. When I picked up the car, I just smiled because I remembered that initial call with that gentleman, and things turned out exactly like he said.
All of the communication was very good. I was also busy at the same time, moving, and it was almost as if they were in parallel to me moving from the different state. Transport services should be upfront to make sure that the potential customer that would be needing the service gets all the information and asks enough questions as to what would be with the specific charges so that they aren't caught with any surprises. That gentleman I initially worked with gave me the breakdown from the beginning of pickup. When I was to pick up the vehicle, I had to bring cash or a cashier's check. They made that very clear. If I handed a credit card payment or cheque, it would not be acceptable.

The Sherpa rep was straight with me on the price and told me what they could do. The quote was exactly what they said it would be. The transport took less than a week. The guy dropped it off at the Walmart parking lot. I went there and he gave me a chance to wash the car before I paid for it. The car was in perfect condition. Sherpa said the guy would know about the $100 rebate but he had no idea about that. I still haven’t seen it but Sherpa said they were putting it together.

I contacted Sherpa and they were super helpful and fast. The day before, I was informed that someone had picked my truck up. And then early that morning, I was contacted by the individual that had it, and told about when he would be in town. It was easy as far as him showing up to our house and unloading. That gentleman was friendly and excellent to work with. He took exactly what Sherpa told me it would be required for me to pay him. All around an excellent experience. I would 100% recommend Sherpa to anyone.

Sherpa Auto Transport stayed on top of things. The driver delivered my vehicle without any kind of issues. So, my experience was very pleasant. I purchased a vehicle from a car lot in Boston, Massachusetts. It's a jeep for myself. The gentleman who helped set up the transport did very good. He continued coming down on the price. He explained to me it’s set at certain times. He set it at certain times. Each time I spoke with him, it came down like $25 per time. He emailed me and called me.
I got a price from another carrier before I found Sherpa, and the guy that I spoke with was kind of rude. But the guy who dealt with Sherpa did a great job. He was very thorough, answered my questions, and he seemed to be honest. The driver was a female and she was with her sister. I met them one block because it's easier for them to pull in at a church parking lot. They were friendly and they did a good job. They got my vehicle off the truck, drove it around, opened the door for me, and they were very professional. I'm happy with the way around with the Sherpa guys’ service and the delivery person’s service.

Sherpa was one of the few in the market that were willing to give a fixed price. However, you need to know that it’s guaranteed within $300 of fluctuation. You gotta be careful because there is a bunch of people out there giving phony prices, and then they are not even guaranteed. Not even within a range. I closed the deal at 4 o'clock. And every day at 4 o'clock, I would get this automatic generic email. It would have been nice to hear from a live person after the third day. But that's understandable. Once I committed to it, Sherpa had to find a carrier. Then they went dark for a few days. I understand that they had to put this in the market and wait for somebody to answer. But they ended up coming through. The transport showed up right away, and the car was delivered on time.

I arranged for shipping my daughter's vehicle from Florida to California. When I called Sherpa's 800 number the process was fully explained, which was important to me as it was the first time I ever shipped a car. The car was picked up a day or two outside of the originally scheduled window but that was OK with me -- Sherpa kept me constantly informed of the situation. The driver of the transport was very professional and took great care in loading the vehicle. The car actually arrived across the country ahead of the promised window, so the end-to-end process was timely.
Also, I was able to use a credit card for payment for a $100 charge, which Sherpa promised to rebate back to me within 30 days of completion of the shipment and by mailing in a copy of the bill of lading. I received my rebate card today, about two weeks after mailing in the paperwork, so it was a promise kept on a timely basis. I would definitely call Sherpa again should the need to ship a vehicle arise.

As a first-time user, there's some credit they're giving me. They charged me and they said, “You’ll be getting $100 on this card.” But I have yet to receive that. Other than that, everything is good. They are very professional. The car was in very good condition and within four days, they have done from shore-to-shore east-to-west and west-to-east. So, I was very happy with the delivery. The quote was accurate. There was no increase in-between. Even the truck person who came to me to pick up the car had allowed me to put some more additional luggage. It was more than 150 pounds. The only thing was the car was dirty because of the weather. I went for a carwash, and I hadn't got any receipt from them. But they were asking for a receipt to get me some carwash refund. That's not a big deal. Next time, if I need, I will definitely consider Sherpa.

The gentleman from Sherpa that I spoke with was really helpful. He taught me some things about the industry and how things work, and what he recommended on doing. He told me, “What they quoted you, no one's gonna take it because it's way undervalued.” Because I was originally looking at an enclosed trailer. He said, “Do an open trailer. It will lower your price. Open trailers are just fine.” He sold me, and it worked out great. He's a good dude. I put my trust in him and canceled the other service that I already had booked. I saved a few bucks and I had somebody that was ready to pick the car up the next day. The quote was comparable, if not better than the quote that I had received from a different company.
The guy that dropped the car off was very nice. There was a lot of traffic on that main road where he unloaded it. He was concerned about being able to turn around down our street so he unloaded it on Route 84, which is the street that takes you to our road. I tried explaining it to him, but he didn't speak very well English so I just let him do what he had to do and everything worked out fine.

I've used Sherpa twice. The first time was when I was coming from California to South Carolina. I called several others and their price was competitive, a little bit less than the norm. The rep I had was friendly, courteous, and professional. Everything went seamlessly as far as they had a quote, had it picked up, and put in a timely manner. The drivers, as they got close, would notify you that they were in the area and that they're half-hour out. Everything was real, scheduled, and systematic.
I had to do another time with a vehicle from Phoenix to here so it was just natural to go right to them and it was the same experience the second time. It went without a hitch, very smooth, on schedule, and friendly drivers, especially the last guy. He was a little too friendly. It was a good conversation, just that you don't expect drivers to spend any time with you and you need to load them up and move them out. Overall, I like the fact that Sherpa gave me a good quote and they stood by it and this makes it very responsive on communication, timing, follow up, and follow through.

I live on the East Coast but I bought a vehicle in Idaho and needed to transport it back. I called a couple of different companies and all their prices were about the same, but Sherpa was the most responsive so I went with them. They were very good about everything. One thing that didn't fit, they said they'd give me between 12 and 24 hours once they find a carrier to pick up the vehicle. About an hour, the carrier that was picking it up called and said they’ll be in Boise in one hour. It was no big deal, just that I was planning on having a little more lead time. But they did everything they said they were going to do.

Sherpa was very easy to deal with. I had two numbers that were considerably lower than the first time I went back. About three weeks later, when we were ready to pull the trigger on it, the other two went up by ridiculous amounts. I went to Sherpa and their price didn't change. They were $100 higher than the other two but I went with them because I didn't like the way the other two companies did business. The pickup and delivery went very well. The driver was a great guy and kept us informed. They notified me the day before, gave me a window of time and then, the driver contacted them in Texas the night before and on the way in. So, he arrived within 30 minutes of when he was expected. I got an email after the car was delivered making sure that we were happy with the condition of the car if there were any problems and anything we wanted to report.

I liked Sherpa's prices and I had to get my car shipped within five days. There was a small hiccup. From my initial call with somebody, the car would be picked up between Wednesday and Friday. We were not even getting into Arizona until Saturday. So when they called me back to say that they had secured a transport, they said, “Yeah, and your car will be there on Thursday.” I was like, “No, no, no, we are not going to be there.” So they had to find somebody else. Other than that, I knew at all times where the car was. I also knew when they would pick it up, when they would drop it off, everything.

Sherpa had the best quote. They were the ones who just got back to me and the best on the phone. Other companies just sent me an email. It was super easy to start it. The driver was super professional and a nice guy. Everything went perfectly. The car was great. There was only one point, and I blamed this on the fact that the car was middle of nowhere, Oklahoma. Just shorter notice than I thought it was gonna be. But it worked out. It wasn't a big deal.

Sherpa Auto did a great job and I didn't have any problems. They followed up and were very accommodating. They picked up my daughter's car. She's a physician and she could not go to the office because she was seeing patients. They picked it up from the house and arranged to pick a key somewhere. It worked perfectly. Vehicle was picked up on promised date and delivered within promised time frame. When transporter wanted $100 above what Sherpa had quoted Sherpa took the dollars out of their fee instead of asking me for more money. Very professional.

I was really dreading the process of shipping my car across the country. I had heard the horror stories and was worried about what to expect. I called maybe 4-5 companies and looked at reviews on numerous sites. I heard about Sherpa through a website run by one of the Car Guys on NPR and talked with one of their representatives on the phone for about 30 minutes. She answered ALL my questions, and I decided to go with them. They found me a shipper within days, the shipper had excellent communication, picked up the car from my mother's house and had it to me _ on the other side of the country _ in a week. The shipper called me to let me know when it was arriving. I suggested a place to deliver the car since my street was too narrow and the driver actually suggested a place that was better. Car was delivered without a scratch and on time. I would definitely go with them again without a second thought.

I spoke to Darren, a smart and thoughtful guy who talked me through the process. He pitched a product that was not too good to be true. The price was reasonable and it did not change. The company who picked up the vehicle and dropped it off was professional, quick, and efficient. I had an odd situation where I had to swap two vehicles from coast to coast (NC to CA and back). We were actually able to do a direct swap within a shorter amount of time than I expected. No complaints.

Sherpa did a great job. They were fantastic and very personable. The driver came into my neighborhood but I told him he didn't need to do that. He was challenged a little bit in terms of dropping off. My son is in the military and he's in a highly secure area. So he has no phones all day long. So I was kind of concerned. I asked the driver if he could text my son a time the night before and let him know because he can leave the building. The driver was really accommodating to that. So they had no issues meeting up and handing over the car. It worked out perfect.

This was the first time I ever had a vehicle shipped and I had some hesitation. I would normally drive it myself but because of the pandemic, I chose to have it shipped with Sherpa. Everything over the phone was professional and just as expected. Everybody was professional. They charged my card the right amount. The transport was from Texas to Chicago and the car came right when they said it was gonna come. It was dirty, but it arrived. It was a very pleasant experience on the whole and this renewed my faith in having vehicles shipped.

Sherpa gave me a good price and they did a great job. They scheduled the delivery on time and the best day which works for me. They picked up the car on time. There was a couple of delays because of what happened in Texas during the winter storm, but it was totally fine. They constantly sent me messages and I was aware of everything. They delivered exactly what they promised. Sherpa is a great company. I'm really happy with my choice.

The Sherpa representative I spoke with made me feel very safe and secure. Everything that they said they were going to do, they did. The driver came in the time whatever the range they gave me and was very friendly. The car came to me on time and in the condition that I left it in. The bill was the same as the initial quote they gave me. I'm very happy I went with Sherpa. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Here's the honest reason I picked up Sherpa to transport my car. Had the least negative reviews of all transport companies I reviewed. In the end, job was completed to my satisfaction. I was concerned about the pickup date shifting, and it did. In my case the truck showed up 5 days before the pick up date and on a weekend which worked out great. I got a call from dispatch on a Saturday telling me the driver was showing up in an hour to pick up the car and I said, no, not happening, unless he wants to wait for me at a minimum 4 hours, I said I was told the driver/truck would show up in 5 days, not 5 days earlier. The driver said he would show up later, and did not show up until the following day which was Sunday. In my case this worked out well, but be mindful the pick up date does shift, from what I can tell is not a guarantee, is really up to the truck driver.

My car was transported from Tennessee to California through Sherpa. The driver stayed in communication with me through text and he called also. Everything went smoothly and there were no scratches or anything on the vehicle. The quote they gave me was the exact same amount that I paid. It was my first time transporting a car and I was very scared to do it, but it went very well. I was very happy with Sherpa.

Sherpa uses a lot of independent truckers and trucking companies. So they found one to call that was a reasonable time. Their representative set the transport up through phone call and email. The trucking company was ahead with picking up the car and delivering the car. The transport took two and a half days and it was a lot less than what they indicated. It exceeded my expectations.

The guy I was dealing was Jason and it was very, very good. The quote was little more than one of the other companies, but at least, I knew it was in good hands. The delivery was good. The driver didn't have great English, but he knew what he was doing. He came, delivered and gave me notice. So it was good.

I shipped two vehicles. The driver was courteous and professional. The service was fantastic and timely. The only concern I had was when I submitted the rebate, I got the rebates for both, except for the carwash. It was like up to $20 refunded for the first carwash. I submitted both of those and I haven't received anything.

I am highly satisfied with my experience with Sherpa Auto Transport. I shipped two cars from Northern California to the East coast. Everything was great from the scheduling to pickup and delivery. Sherpa's service was superior. I thank the gentleman who brought the vehicle to me even with the bad weather that was happening in Austin, Texas that weekend. He was very nice. He followed up with me. He was such a gentleman. We did keep in close contact and he did let me know. He waited a while, and we were stuck in the weather. So, my arrival time was after our arranged time but he waited as long as he could. He did leave my car and my key in a safe place for me, and did such a great job.
I had a lot of transport companies contacting me, but it was Sherpa's reviews that stood out for me. They were like a 4-point-something out of 5. Their timeframe also stuck out for me. Some of the others that I looked into were talking days of my vehicle being delivered, and that, I was not in agreement with. They also delivered in a timely manner. I was thankful for that too. Their guarantee was like two to three days, and they did deliver. I chose the covered ship to be enclosed. I would recommend that. I'm thankful that I did because we ran into this type of weather. My recommendation with anyone choosing to use this type of service, is knowing that your car is safe from any elements, rocks or anything else off the road, and to the timeframe.

Very professional and easy to work with. Shipper should have anticipated issues with size of shipping truck with respect to delivery to my address. This necessitated picking up the vehicle at a remote location.

I needed to get a car down to New Orleans to sell it. I went online, looked for a couple different places, got some feedback online, talked to a few on the phone, and talked to Sherpa. Their rep convinced me that they were the best value. They were the most expensive but in my terms, they were the best value. I tried to take a shot at it. The rep did a good job explaining kind of how the process worked and kind of why he priced things the way he did. Before the driver got identified, I got one or two emails a day telling me what was going on and that they were still looking. Then when they identified somebody, they let me know. The delivery only took two days so there wasn't much to communicate. I was able to directly talk to the driver on the way and when he had an effective link up and that all went fine. I would tell somebody who needed to ship a car to check Sherpa out.

The young lady that I spoke with in Charlotte was very honest and straightforward. She shared with me some information regarding what I may run into. I've heard that what you’re given is not the price you end up paying, especially if there's conflict with the driver. So that was the first reason I ended up going with Sherpa. Secondly, it was a reasonable price. I could have got it done a little bit cheaper, but I was not guaranteed that rate that I was given by other companies. She told me the rate that she gave me was guaranteed.
Sherpa's customer service was excellent. They had a driver set up, and he had some mechanical problems. They reassigned me to a different driver out of North Carolina. I reside in North Carolina, and they were bringing the vehicle to North Carolina. There weren't any problems with the first driver. The second driver just picked right up where the other one left off. So, that was not a problem at all. He did a fantastic job. He was only transporting two vehicles, my vehicle and one other. There were no issues. There was no damage. Sherpa did what they said they were going to do, and that's all a customer can I ask for. I’m very pleased.

I was very leery of doing this because I had never shipped a car before. However, from start to finish, I felt comfortable with all I interacted with. The nice young man I spoke with initially was very clear about the process and answered all my questions. The driver, Tito, was great. As I watched him maneuver the cars to fit our car on, I thought, he’s a pro at this and knew our car would be fine. He delivered it scratch free within just a few days. It was all great and I would recommend Sherpa and Tito (if he was the only company you worked with) to everyone. Thanks!

I read horror stories about car transport companies. I did my research and Sherpa came highly rated. They stayed true to their word. The driver that was hired was honest and reliable. He stayed in touch with us and delivered my car without any issues. In signing up to ship my vehicles from CA to NC, I paid a broker fee of $300 per vehicle. This was at least a month before the vehicles were to be shipped. The company insisted they needed a 3-day window for pickup. They finally agreed to pickup the vehicles on the 24th or 25th. I got a call from the driver wanting to pick the vehicles up on the 23rd. I was out of town so that was impossible. He did show up on the 24th. In arranging for the transport I specifically asked if I could load my lawnmower and other garden tools in the pickup. I was told that as long as the load didn't roll around that I could load the tools into the pickup bed. The driver said he was a car mover and not a moving van and that I could unload the tools or pay him an additional $300. I was stuck.
Sherpa said they listened to a recording of the initial call and that the driver had discretion to charge extra for the extra equipment. Had I known I would have arranged for these products to go into the moving van moving my household goods. I had permission but the driver had all the cards. Nobody from Sherpa would comment on the part of the conversation where I was told I could ship those items in my pickup, I felt like I was the victim of extortion. While examining the vehicles on delivery the driver pushed his way between me and the vehicle. I finally grew frustrated and gave him the check. Totally unprofessional conduct.

Sherpa's rep was very helpful and he got everything sorted out. My move was from Atlanta to Lost Angeles and it took about four days total from pick-up. I got the car from the driver during delivery. He made sure I inspected the car and he was very polite.

I had a car delivered from Washington State to Texas through Sherpa. The rep was helpful. He got back to me on time and the movers came in early. The driver got my vehicle off the truck pretty quickly when it was delivered. It came with no damage so I was pretty pleased. Also, Sherpa's quote was cheaper than that of other service providers.

We shipped a car from Florida to Pennsylvania. Using the Consumer Affairs website, we chose Sherpa Auto Transport as the broker. Since they are a broker, they matched us with Quality Auto Transport to ship the car. The initial fee to Sherpa was $250 via credit card. Quality Auto Transport’s fee was $475 to be paid to the driver with cash or Cashiers Check. The service was fantastic! The driver, Daniel, communicated with us through the entire process. No need for a broker, I highly recommend Quality Auto Transport.

I liked the fact that they had $300 that went towards any ups that might occur during the time before coming back to you. A lot of companies, they'll add another $100 or $200 if they have problems, but Sherpa pays up to $300. They took care of my car just fine and they brought it earlier than I expected. Everything was great.

They could give you a quote right away. It's a fair price for the service. But they could look into a way to have a better idea of when they're gonna come pick up your car and when they're gonna deliver. Because I had to figure out while I was working. So the more certainty, the better you can plan.

I checked them out online and they seemed to be good. I asked for quotes, and they were one of the cheaper ones with one of the best ratings on Better Business Bureau. The people that we spoke to on the phone were terrific. The driver that we spoke to was polite, respectful, knowledgeable, fast, and excellent in all respects. He kept us informed all along the route, where he was, and when he was going to be there. We texted him and told him where we were, and he told us exactly where he was. He was there on time. By the time we rounded the parking lot, he already had the car off the transport, sitting there, and ready for us to inspect. I would recommend them over and over.

The rep that I dealt with was great. He was so sweet and thorough. He explained everything right down to the pickup and delivery. The driver was fantastic and very professional. We had a nice long talk and I felt comfortable with my car with him. He was very, very nice. I'd use Sherpa again in a heartbeat. I've already recommended them. My nephew is going to have my car washed this week and Sherpa said, if and when that happens, to save the receipt and they would reimburse me. It was a nice customer touch.

They were responsive when I reached out, and they had good pricing. The guy that I talked to at Sherpa at the front end sort of explained the process because I've never done this before. Then the date approached, and they were in touch with the specific carrier that they had assigned to it. I was in touch with the driver for the pickup and drop-off dynamics. It would be a nice improvement if they could make he drivers can take a credit card, instead of cash or certified check at the back end. Most people today have these mobile things, where you can use a credit card on a phone or one of those different devices that attach to an iPad and you swipe your credit card through it. So it was a little old school with cash or check. Other than that, everything was on time and worked well, and so it was good.

I have to say I was not worried one time about using this company. From the time I spoke with Darren who was awesome to the time I made contact act with the driver it was a great experience. Even with the horrible weather in Texas the transport when smooth. I couldn't get out on the road to make contact with the driver and was able to make other plans with no issue. Thanks Sherpa! The people at Sherpa were fabulous. I shipped three cars with them. The move for the first car was about five days and the other two went together in seven. The first driver was very nice. The second driver was fabulous. They took care of our cars and delivered them. So, it was a good experience all the way around. Based on my previous experience with a different company, Sherpa was top-notch. Communication was easy to get in touch with people whenever I had a question. They kept me up to date on status of locating the driver. I had to change the pickup date twice and they were very accommodating with that. Overall, communication was super high, which is as crucial when you're dealing with something like this. The only drawback is that they utilize a bunch of different drivers with different backgrounds. My driver was Russian and his English barely got him by. So the communication on that end might have been lacking slightly, but he still came through. There was a little miscommunication on the final destination. He was off by a few miles and that was because of the language barrier. But all in all, the vehicle got there clean and on time. I would recommend Sherpa to all my car guys.

After doing a lot of research I chose Sherpa to transport my Mustang convertible from Massachusetts to Nevada. From the initial phone call to delivery, everything went perfectly. The driver kept me updated with text messages the final 2 days. He was driving through snow and ice storms, but still made it on time. He was great. Yes, the car was dirty when it arrived, but Sherpa even pays for the carwash. After hearing so many horror stories from people who transported their cars, this was the most stressful part of my move. We called Sherpa and they assigned it to a driver. The driver got ahold of us and came over. He got the vehicle and took it. It was relatively easy. The driver was very professional. He'd done it for a number of years and knew exactly what he was doing. So he went ahead and got it up there without any problem. The final price was relatively cheap. I thought it was gonna be a lot more but it was a lot less than what I thought. If I had to do it again, I'd use Sherpa again. They’re a very professional company.

Although my car was delivered 2 days later than needed, Sherpa, especially Dillano, was very helpful in answering all my questions and providing support. They kept their deal as the delivery company asked for more and they paid that extra amount themselves.

Their quote was a couple hundred higher than what I would have liked, but I didn't have to worry about the change of price once the driver was selected, which is what I read in reviews with different brokers. But the driver was very responsive and was a nice guy. The vehicle was also in good condition. I was satisfied.

I looked at Sherpa's reviews, and they were pretty good. So, I went with it. The customer service was good. They always answered, they're always available and I feel like the company did a good job. When it came to ship my car, it was when the winter storm hit the South. They worked with me in getting somebody down there even though it was snowing. So, I had a positive experience. The level of communication was good. It only took an extra four days, but that was because everything was snowed in. The only thing is they could have put me in contact with the driver once that was decided. I had to google to get the company's phone number that I got assigned to. I wish they could’ve sent me an email like, “Here's your driver. Here's your company. You can contact to them or they'll contact you in X amount of time.”

The Sherpa company showed professionalism and experience in getting a driver to transport my car. I had cheaper quotes but decided to go with Sherpa because I needed to get the car moved on a specific timeframe and I had confidence that they would do it. They guaranteed the price and the availability of when the vehicle would be picked up. Also, the rep was straight up. He followed up with an email, which was very easy to understand. Then, the delivery came a few days early and the car was in good condition. It was a favorable experience and I'd use them again if I needed them.

They were really helpful and very polite. We had a snowstorm in the middle of the week that it was supposed to go and we couldn't get it out there that week. So, we had to find another company to come and pick it up. But they were very good about keeping me updated. The gentleman that came and picked the truck up was very polite. He explained how to get access to the report that he put in via email.

There was a bit of a problem at the beginning. The driver was unable to arrive on schedule because he had a pickup just before ours. The customer before us misrepresented the size of his vehicle. When they loaded it, there wasn't any room left for us. So at the last moment, they had to scramble and get a different truck driver to come to pick up the vehicle and that delayed us a couple of days.
Part of the problem was that the scheduling got screwed up. But I got a phone call from the driver, said, “I’m having trouble.” I got a phone call from Sherpa that said, “Okay. Here's the situation. Here's what's happening. This is what we're going to do to help you out.” Communicating goes a long way to addressing the problem. Once we got a driver and we got the car loaded, the delivery went smoothly. They showed up a little bit early. There was no damage to the car and everything seemed to be okay at the other end.
My daughter was the recipient of the vehicle at her end and she said everything was fine. The driver stayed in touch with my daughter to the extent that he told her that he was arriving a little early. He could have probably called her a little sooner to tell her that he was showing up early. Early is good, but there's such a thing as too early. Because if you show up too early, you may not be present to receive something that's being delivered.
When Sherpa had to go out and find another driver and do it in a hurry, they had to increase what they were offering as their payment to the driver. But they absorbed that. They did not pass that increase on to me because they felt that I wasn't responsible for that additional cost. They held to their original quote. So I appreciate that.

Then, we used them ourselves twice now, 'cause we shipped up to Connecticut a new car, and everything was great with that. Then, this car from Texas to Virginia. Everything was fine. There was just a couple of days before I needed my car shipped and Sherpa's rep was very helpful. I had to call him a couple of times afterward to confirm what was going on but it ended up working out. The driver came a little later than we expected, but it wasn't his fault, and he ended up delivering the car on time, which was the important part. Sherpa got the job done and it can be hard to find someone who gets the job done in the auto transport industry from what I've experienced.

I called and I asked for a quote. The rep explained to me how the quoting process went and how it's pretty much gonna be the same with every company. It was the lowest that I found and was guaranteed that it wouldn't go up in price as the date got closer, so I went with Sherpa. The driver who picked the car up was fantastic. It got a flat tire on the way to the pickup spot and the driver helped a lot and changed the tire. He was really cool. The car arrived within two weeks and the quote is what I paid, so I was pretty happy with that.

Sherpa was able to guarantee me a sooner date than other companies so I decided to go with them. Their reps were very professional and I appreciated their candor in my conversation. They weren't trying to sell me like a lot of the others do. Very impressed from day 1 - Sherpa phone agents awesome - I had a vehicle transaction delay that threw the shipping plan off schedule and Sherpa team handled it like pros - when I had vehicle pick up clearance Sherpa picked up right where we left off - Austin and Crimson were both super professional and informative - I was counting on Sherpa to deliver as promised and they did it all 100%! Great communication, they update you frequently, leaving no questions unanswered...
My driver was a pro (thanks Sergio!!) and he was polite and communicated with me effectively 24 hours before delivery and a couple times leading right up to delivery ultimately bringing me my vehicle one day before I thought it would arrive which was awesome. Vehicle was flawless off the transport carrier.... Not a scratch on it. Perfect condition as I had hoped for... And drop off/delivery was simple & easy. I shipped a 2012 Nissan Maxima to New Hampshire to my son and used Sherpa from the recommendations of my son, his daughter-in-law, and people on the internet. Their prices were a little bit higher but they stated on there that there aren't any hidden fees. The quote I got was accurate. I was able to pay for all of it on this end and my son didn't have to pay when it was delivered, which is one thing I wanted to do. Also, the driver was very professional and very good. He was interested in getting it done. He came from Houston, stopped here, went to Fort Worth, and then drove it up from there. He pretty much let me know the status of where he was and when he was going to deliver and all of that.

The initial quote was a really pretty good experience. It was a little higher than I wanted it to be but when I spoke with the rep, she told me what happens when the price is lower and how they can run into issues of not finding a driver. I appreciated her honesty with that and walking me through. And there was no pressure. Also, I really appreciated the driver's communication with me during the entire process. There was a little bit of a mishap where he was instructed to go to another location in Texas before coming to me but he still made it that same day.

After having a no show with another company and losing my deposit, I called Sherpa Auto Transport. I was very impressed with their professionalism and efficiency from beginning to end. Process was super easy and everyone I talked to was friendly and knowledgeable. Price was fair and didn't change at any time. Truck was picked up within 3 days of setting up service and was dropped off 600+ miles later 2 days later. Driver was nice and got our truck to us without a scratch! Would recommend this service. Took stress out of moving 2 vehicles far away. Driver called when on the way to pick up truck and then let us know when he was close to dropping off.

I was very nervous about shipping my new car. I had never used a shipper before but I had read the horror stories. Sherpa’s reputation was excellent and the quote was in line with other highly rated shipping brokers. In the end, Sherpa found a driver quicker than anyone and at the quoted price. I live in Oregon and my son was going back to school in Pennsylvania. We were shipping his car, so he'd have his car while he was there. The quote was exactly the same and it wasn't cheap. I know there are places that will do it for cheaper, but it's worth it for everybody to have insurance and be bonded and not just look up somebody on Craigslist saying, “I'll drive your car 3,000 miles.” People are very concerned about shipping their car, in our case, 3,000 miles away and then if anything had gone wrong, my son would have been on his own trying to figure it out.
My whole experience was very positive. The Sherpa drivers sounded wonderful and they were so prompt. We live across from a convenience store with a big parking lot and our street's not narrow, but there's a lot of cars. When the guy came to pick up my son's car, we met him across the street so that he could load it. He then did the review, checked it out, and gave me the pink sheet. When the car was delivered, my son said the driver called him and asked him if he can meet them at the closest Home Depot, which wasn't that far. He Ubered over there and it wasn't a big deal. He was there waiting when the guy came.

I liked the cost that Sherpa had. Their people were communicative and they worked with me as far as giving me a good price. I needed to wait a little bit to ship the car. Their guy explained that whole process like what I need to do and that to call him back. Everything was good. They picked up the car when they said they're gonna do it. They got it here to Ohio super quick. I'm very satisfied.

We had a great experience shipping our car cross country with Sherpa. They honored their word to pay the difference up to $300 from what they quoted when the cost came in higher and still gave us the veterans and car wash rebate. Overall great customer service and would consider using them again.

I've been online and did a couple different Google searches, got a couple companies and called them up and I ended up choosing Sherpa. They were responsive and pretty reassuring that the car will get here safely, and I liked the track record. I didn't see any other reviews online, per se, but the guy said to me that most cars are shipped in the unenclosed cars. I see cars on the road all the time. I do see cars behind trucks all the time. I'm like, "Whoa, that's crazy. How do they even get the cars up there?" The guy was saying that 90% of the cars reach the destination. They do it every day. I thought, "Well, that's pretty good odds versus me having to pay extra to get it done on an enclosed car basis, an enclosed carrier." The conversation was good. I chose them and the car got here swiftly and safe. It worked out well.
I had a couple different brokers in the mix, and Sherpa's quote was one of the most competitive. In the end, I didn't pay anything extra. The transport took about four days. On the delivery day, we made an arrangement for me to pick the car up at a more convenient location. I was happy. It was successful for me. So, if there was somebody that I know who needs the service, I'd say, "Hey, go with Sherpa."

Sherpa's rep was very friendly, to the point, and accurate. The driver called me the day before he got here, and he got here right on time. The total transport was five to seven days. Sherpa stayed right with the quote.

I was coming overseas from an assignment. I'm in the military. And they were not able to move my vehicle to where I was at in my new duty station, so I was trying to find the least cost-effective company and also good review. I looked on the internet. Sherpa came out as one of the best ones. They had some military mail-in rebate specials going on since it was around Christmas.
I kept getting notifications on every step on when the order was placed, on when they were looking for the dispatcher. And when they found the dispatcher, the dispatcher contacted me to let me know that they found someone to move my truck. The person that dropped off my truck contacted me as well and verified the addresses. So, there was very good continuity throughout the whole transaction. My vehicle came back. It started. There was no severe mechanical or cosmetic damages other than what there was already. It was in Florida, so a lot of paint got ruined. It was very straight to the point, so good service for sure. If I had to use that service again, I would.

What I found appealing with Sherpa was they told me the price upfront. I dealt with another company where they gave me a price and then once they had the driver, the prices increased by another $300. Their reps were great and the communication was very good. It was very good from start to finish. I'm very satisfied with Sherpa.

I went with a recommendation of a friend. He used Sherpa before. The rep me informed the whole way. Communication was great. The quote was competitive. My driver's name was Kevin. He was great, he arrived right when he said. I was there to deliver the vehicle to him on the drop-off. I flew down the next day and I was here, so I met him on their side. Great, smooth transaction. Car was perfect. Good service. I have a couple of other cars that I need to move down, so I will probably call back and use them again.

The pickup and delivery were great. They delivered the same day that I got here to Arizona. The quote was also right on the nail because I didn't end up coming out of pocket with more money for them to drop it off. Sherpa gets the time accurately right and their costs on the quotes are exact.

The Sherpa rep encouraged me first to do my research because it was my first time. And it wasn't high-pressure sales. He said there would be no additional fees, whereas some of the other companies it was like they would be much cheaper, but then it wasn't guaranteed. The driver was great. They picked it up, and then he arrived the next day. He called me and said he would be there in an hour, and he was there, unloaded the car, and it was great. The quote was exactly what I expected. I was very pleased with my experience. It was easy and no stress. What they told me what would happen happened, and it was faster than I expected.

Everything went fine and dandy. The driver was great. He got down there quick. The only thing I had a problem with was it was more than I wanted to pay. I used to ship cars for a number of years from Florida to Seattle and back and forth. I was a car dealer and a wholesaler. I used to pay 650 a car. But I was shipping up three to five loads every week. So I got the volume discount. I was used to being treated like royalty, which he did a great job. He got to play with the car, picked it up and put it where I wanted it on the truck so it wouldn't get any dirt. He did a real good job. The reps were good too. One of the things that I like too is that they stuck with their price. However, I was supposed to get $100 back from Sherpa when I sent in my bill of ladings a couple of weeks ago but I haven't gotten my check.

I live in Michigan and we come to Florida for the winter. I've been shipping cars for the last three or four years. I checked online and looked in terms of which ones got very good reviews and had other ratings. I was doing a lot of checking because the previous year, I had some difficulty with the company I used. I wanted to make sure that I didn't have repeat problems. I called Sherpa and I was very impressed with the conversations I had. After examining them all, I chose to go with Sherpa and it worked very well. The customer service was very good. Everything was right on time. They told me what day they were going to come. I spoke with the driver and he told me what time he would be there. He was a little bit early but it worked very well. I've already arranged for them to ship my car back.

Sherpa came across as being a little bit more credible and transparent than some of the other guys in the industry. It was excellent dealing with their customer service and we had no problems with the driver. We instigated a change destination because it was in the middle of San Francisco. So, it would be better to do it a little bit on the outskirts. The vehicle arrived in perfect condition and the quote was very accurate. It was a good experience with Sherpa and I'll use them again.

I looked at a bunch of different companies, picked one and a week later found out that they weren't going to be able to do this. Then, I found Sherpa and it was as easy as a lot of other things should be. I was thoroughly satisfied with them. The coordinator was extremely professional. At the beginning, he explained the background of how the company approached what they did and why they were different than everyone else. He told me how it would work and what they would do, and that as soon as they find somebody, they would email me. That all worked just like he said. The quote was exactly what he had anticipated. So, it wasn't any different. He said that if it was within a $300 range, it would cover the difference. But they didn't have to.
During the pickup, the driver called eight hours in advance and called again just before. It was as professional as it had to be. It was perfectly fine when he unloaded it too. He took pictures and walked around the car with me. Sherpa was completely transparent and couldn't have been more professional. I was very pleasantly surprised because it's an industry that's fraught with misleading information and lots and lots of misrepresentation.

I talked to Sherpa and they hooked up with Mike, the dude who drove the car out on his truck. The rep was very helpful and the pickup went fine. The car was picked up from a friend who has commandeered the car in California. The friend handed the keys to Mike, printed a lot of pictures and signed the documents, and the car was transported out. Mike gave us a heads-up then told us where to meet him. I live down a one way street so he had to park the car somewhere he could park his truck which was about half a mile away. We met him and it was good. There were no dings, scratches or birds stuck in the windshield or grill. This is the first time I shipped a car and it got from A to B without any drama. It was hassle-free. I paid the price quoted which was 100% accurate.

Sherpa was the most responsive. I went with them and they did a good job. They got there when they said they were gonna be there and there were no issues. Their quote was higher than some but you get what you pay for. They got better drivers. I was nervous going into it as I'd never done it before but it was very easy. I already gave Sherpa's number to another person that I know that may have already reached out for car transportation into Tennessee.

I was happy with the coverage transport process that Sherpa had. The rep was excellent. He was very responsive. He answered all my questions and made the process very easy. I will call him and Sherpa again very shortly. The driver was really good. I felt bad for him because somebody ran over his foot. But he was very efficient. They got there a day early which was great. They kept me in the loop in terms of the process and where they were so everything worked out very well.

Sherpa offered an enclosed trailer. They quoted me 2,000 to begin with. I had gotten a better price somewhere else. Sherpa came down to 1,800 and I accepted that. My experience with the driver was fine and the condition of the car when it arrived was okay. Their service was perfect.

The customer service representative of Sherpa was very great. He explained everything. He told me all the ins and outs of how it works. He stuck with a quote. He was like, “It shouldn't be anything more than that.” The driver was professional and very energetic. His pickup and his delivery times were late. But that didn't bother us at all. It was fast delivery. Five days and it was already here. Everything was really good and it was a great experience.

Like most, when I started looking at companies to transport my vehicle from Oregon to Georgia I was confronted with a dizzying number of choices and a frustrating number of offers. I went with Sherpa based on their great recommendations. They came through wonderfully from pickup to drop off. The driver was communicative and kept to schedule. I'm glad I went with Sherpa.

I liked Sherpa's timely response and the price was competitive if not better than the other people I spoke to. The delivery was good. They talked to my son when his car was being dropped off. So, he knew where to go and when to be there and he was happy with what he got on his end. The car looked like it did when it left. I got just a little bit of a surprise when the driver showed up. It was earlier than anticipated, which is not a terrible problem to have. And fortunately, I was available. But I was expecting the following morning, and they showed up in the evening the day before. I was able to adapt. Everything was good.

I usually don’t do reviews but have to give Sherpa an excellent review. Called on a Sunday to have my daughter's car picked up. When most companies didn’t answer a Sherpa representative named Gary answered and was so nice and extremely helpful. My daughter's car was picked up in California and delivered to Utah in a matter of 4 days. All very quick. The transport gentleman picking up and delivering the car was prompt and professional. All at a competitive price.

Sherpa Auto Transport responded in good time to my request to ship my car from the West Coast to the East coast. The cost was not over the top because I was willing to meet the driver in Tacoma Washington. The pick up was January 8th and delivery was January 14th. I was notified every step of the way: from transporting the car to the lot, to being loaded onto the truck, to a day before delivery and finally day of delivery. The driver replaced the battery for the key fob without hesitation.
My car did not have damage that I could notice. Meaning: if I drove the car across the country it would be the same amount of damage IE dirt. However my car was in the middle of the rack so I was blessed. Nothing inside was out of place, broken or unlocked. No additional mileage in any minor or major way. The truck driver was friendly and offloaded my vehicle professionally. I have recommended this company to three friends. I would use this company again if needed.

Sherpa got the car here a day earlier. It was in an enclosed trailer and it wasn't squeezed in. The car had no scratches. The driver was great. He’s a little older and a very polite and nice guy. Also, the quote they gave me was accurate. There was no bait and switch as I read about all the other transport companies. So I was very happy with the experience. It was excellent.

I was trying to transport my truck on December the 2nd. The people I first called never came back to the truck and I lost my shipping date of getting it to Hawaii through Matson because of that. Then I tried another one and it was the same thing. But these guys from Sherpa said they'd be there and they were there. They were courteous and dealing with them was right upfront. The quote they gave me was good. I was happy with them. Their reps and the driver that picked the vehicle up were really good. The driver was there 10 minutes of the time they said they'd be there and the transport was excellent. I’d tell my friends and family to use Sherpa.

Sherpa Auto Transport was one of the best companies to go with. There was one time where I called that and I hung up because I had other things to do. But they called me back without me even leaving a message because they said that they saw that I called. So that was excellent. Everything worked out perfectly. They picked the vehicle up on time and they got it here on time. The transport took two days for 1,281 miles give or take and Sherpa basically came through and delivered. There was no change from the quote to the final cost. I'm very satisfied. I would use them again.

I was relocating across the country. Sherpa had some type of guarantee, and they seem more reliable. They gave me the exact price. They gave me a quote, and it was something like paying an extra amount so that if the quote was higher than expected, they would pay the difference. I did call a couple of times to ask questions and the guy was really helpful. The delivery timeframe met my expectations, and the guy was very thorough. He found defects on the car that I hadn't noticed. I would definitely use Sherpa again.

We have an aunt from Ohio and we have a residence in Clearwater, Florida, as well. We're snowbirds, so we ship our car down and ship it back every year. We come down in about December and go back in April. We used Sherpa. We used them once last year. It works out very well for us. We could buy a car and leave it down here, but we save the expense of that. The cost of using Sherpa makes up for it. When we did this, we had to change. We were gonna come down in October but because of the virus, it was best not to come down. We were going to use them, and they were very responsible in not charging us the fee which we could have been charged. The driver upon delivery was very personable, and he's very efficient. Overall, Sherpa fulfilled what they said they were going to do and they did it very well.

I had spoken to very close friends of mine who used Sherpa three years ago to ship everything back from California and they were totally impressed by it. So, I decided to use them to transport a BMW to my sister-in-law. There was constant communication with the carrier drivers and they were very nice nice to deal with. I talked to them and they let me know where they were. I also got a picture of the vehicle as soon as it arrived in New Mexico. My sister-in-law said it was on the top of the carrier and was dirty, but it was perfect. Then, she got the gift card which came in my name but with my sister-in-law's address in New Mexico. So, I told her to send it back to me in New Jersey and I'll give her the 100 myself. All in all, Sherpa was wonderful.

Everything was smooth with my experience with Sherpa. It really had exceeded my expectations. The driver picked the vehicle up that morning and he delivered it the next day, just before midnight. He communicated the whole time and called me when he was about an hour out. What they quoted me was what I paid as well.

The Sherpa representative was very attentive. He answered all my questions and was very fast about everything. The quote given to me was on the higher side which is why I shopped around a bit, but once I brought to the rep the different prices I had, we negotiated a little and we met somewhere that we were both comfortable with. The driver was very polite and professional. There was no damage on the vehicle when it arrived. It was perfect.

I'm overly cautious and I was paranoid about finding a cheap company in transporting a car because I've heard bad stories about it being hard to get the car off the truck. I looked at three companies and Sherpa was pretty highly rated in terms of customer service and safety. Then beyond that, the person who followed up with the quote was very clear on how it would all work so I felt comfortable working with them. The quote was expensive, but it worked and it was exactly what I paid in the end.
The driver was very jovial, too. He was chatty in a friendly way and was easy to work with. He was good at communicating and gave me good estimation times. It was the same for the pickup on my mom's end. During the delivery, he got the car off the truck and accepted the money. The vehicle arrived in very good condition and was much cleaner than the last time I had a vehicle shipped to me, but a lot of that could just be due to the weather on either end. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and I was confident in the quality of Sherpa's service.

We looked online and saw the Sherpa reviews, and decided to go with them. We shipped two cars so they have $100 gift card for us. With this gift card, they're a little bit cheaper than everybody else, that's why we used them too, as we have a $100 gift card back. The rep and the driver were very nice. Everything went well until the completed shipment. The only thing I'm not happy is I'm still waiting for someone to call me how to get my gift card. I called five times and I haven't heard anything from them. We complete shipping for almost a month now. I will definitely go with them again if they take good care of me on the other end.

I needed to transport a car from California to Miami. I sent out the emails and Sherpa responded. I ended up not even checking the other ones because Sherpa was pretty organized. I felt very comfortable working with them. The guy who dropped off this truck was excellent. He was wiping my car down. Everything is perfect. I liked him.

The process with Sherpa was quick and easy. My SUV got delivered on time from Pennsylvania to Florida and the quote was right on the money. They said it was gonna be there on whatever day it got there. The only thing was when the trucker was coming, I coulda had a little more time to know. They only gave us 45 minutes.

I ended up going with Sherpa because it was a better price than some of the other ones that I saw. Also, they had better ratings with regards to customer service from other people who used them. They had really good customer service. The guy that I spoke with was really good at getting back to me and super patient. I had to get my car over here super quickly, but I had to get new tires first. He was really patient and kept communication. I let him know what was going on with the status of my car. I appreciated him calling to check and see where everything was. Then they kept the same person. Every time that I called, it wasn't like I got a different person. It was the same guy every time. I kind of like that.
This is my first time doing a transportation service. As far as how the process works, you do the payment ahead of time and then you pay the driver afterwards. It wasn't that they didn't tell me that, but it's just a weird transaction for me. I paid on my card online for my quote, but then I paid the driver cash. Sometimes, I feel like paying cash is a weird transaction. There was an option to do a certified check. I could have done that as well to have a paper trail. I kind of like the idea of just maybe doing one payment instead of having to separate the two. If I have to bring my car back, I’m for sure gonna go with Sherpa. Then if I know anyone who's trying to do a cross-country move, that's definitely who I’d recommend. I'd give the name of the guy too because he was really great.

Sherpa was awesome. My dad had passed away unexpectedly. So I had to ship his car from El Paso, Texas, to Illinois, and it was over Thanksgiving. Sherpa really worked with me to have a driver to transport the car to Illinois in such a short notice. It was maybe a three- day window. They communicated with me via telephone. They called me and then they emailed me every step of the way. Jeremy was really good. I explained the situation with him and he was understanding and he went beyond the scope of his job. He went way over than what he had to do in such a tight timeframe. The driver was really nice. He communicated to me via telephone and text. He let me know, “I was I should be this way at this time.” When he was two hours away from my destination, he called and let me know. He texted me as he was pulling up to unload the vehicle and the vehicle was in the same condition that it left El Paso.

I've used other transport companies in the past and I read really good reviews about Sherpa, so I called them first. The quote was super fair and everything was straightforward and easy. They did what I needed too. When I received the car, we went over any imperfections that may have happened during transport, which there wasn't any. The gentleman took it off the trailer, started it up, and then, I drove it home. It was simple. I would definitely use them again if I need a vehicle transport.

The car was intact when it got here, and it got here in a very short period of time as well. So, I was very happy with Sherpa's service. Initially, I called them up to talk to them, and they sounded really good, so I went with them. It was an automobile that I was moving. I was informed many times of the progress and when the vehicle was shipping, when they arrived and the progress. I was informed ahead of time. They told me, "Your car's expected on this range of dates." Then they called me a few hours before it was here to let me know it was about to be delivered. So, it was very good. It all went very well. My experience was painless.

We all moved to Florida, so we needed a company to ship our car down to Florida from New Jersey. My sister shipped two cars before and she thought they did great. This time, the reps were very helpful. The driver was also great. Unfortunately, the weather stalled the transport a day, but it wasn't his fault. It snowed. Other than that, Jerry was such a nice guy. He texted and called, and he always informed me what was going on with the car. The car was in Florida in two days, so I got it right on time. The quote was accurate as well, but I was supposed to get some kind of rebate and I sent the bill of lading to them.
