I didn't have any issues with Sherpa from start to finish. They picked up the car early. The driver was very professional. I had a one-trailer type car, so I was the only car on there. There were no issues with miles added on. There was no one to pick it up. So, they accommodated me even by getting here two days later than they should have in order for me to get my car. As far as the ending bill, it was a little less than what I expected. It was very fair compared to others that I had priced out. They also did send me instructions to go get a free carwash on them.

Even though Sherpa was $200 less than everybody else, they claimed that they would spend up to $300 in order to get the deal done, if they had to, to get it to entice a driver. It sounded like a come-on to me, but I read the reviews. I'm big on reviews, and the reviews all checked out. Even though the competitors told me I would regret it, Sherpa did everything they said they would do. I shipped the car to my condo in Florida, and I had a third party meet them. They met the person exactly where and when they said they would meet them, pulled my Jeep off the truck, parked it in the parking space, and everything was fine. Overall, the service was trouble free and on time, so the value was about as good as it can get.
It means a lot that you chose us to work with us after thoroughly researching the many options available in the marketplace. I did some business with Sherpa last year and they did very good. So, I asked them again. The last transport was from Virginia, Harrisonburg to Grand Forks, North Dakota and there was a delay but in general, the experience was good. The time frame was three days and the day before that, the rep told me that they still didn’t have a driver. So, I sent an email asking for some confirmation. At the end, they fixed it. Sherpa’s quote was fair and the final quote was just a little bit $100 more than the quote in advance. I met the driver when he picked up the car and he was the best part. He was very kind and when he arrived in Grand Forks, he was very good. The vehicle arrived on the day that we scheduled in advance and its condition was perfect.

This was my first experience with shipping a vehicle and when I tell you that my nerves had the best of me it's an understatement. However Sherpa came through like champs. My Challenger arrived on time and in perfect condition.

The rep from Sherpa who set up the transport was perfect. The vehicle was picked up at 8:30 on Thursday evening and I had my car at 1 o’clock on Sunday afternoon. I have told about 10 people about Sherpa and how wonderful it is. Other friends of mine transport their cars and it’s easier this way. It was a great experience.

I did the setup on the phone, and I was happy with it. Also, the rep did it within just a few days, and I was quite pleased because it didn't take long for me to find out how much it was gonna cost. I was impressed with the cost, because it was cheaper than the pod for my belongings. Plus, Sherpa did a much better job with the car than the pod company. I wanted them to just drop the car off at a location, and I was there. It wasn't in the same town, but I had somebody take me there and the delivery went well. They called me early in the morning and said they'd be there at a certain time, and they were. It was a different truck. They picked up different cars and put it on a different truck.

My daughter has a day job in Idaho so we needed to ship a car out there. I sent out a message on Facebook friends and said, "Who would you use?" One said, "You could use Sherpa," who shipped his cars from Boston to Arizona. And he said they were great. They were a little more money but they guaranteed everything would work out. And they did well. Communication is key in all this. The rep was back and forth, kept letting me know. The hard part is finding drivers because they put bids out. I've learned a bit about this business. It's a crazy one. It's not a normal route for a lot of drivers. But he finally found a guy and he was great. I chatted with him in both sides because I met him in Idaho to receive the car as well. The cost was a little high, but it is what it is.
The driver said that the pipe that is under the car came loose, but he said it didn't get hit. He stopped and had it welded on his own. He must have had people on the way. They said it probably needs to be done better. I remembered it was in bad shape. It had nothing to do with him but he went and got that fixed anyway. He didn't even have to do that. But it was really loud. It would have been a frustrating thing for all of us. He was a good driver and explained. I'm sure he got it done cheap. That was nice that he even attempted to do that.

Sherpa came through with flying colors for me twice. In both situations, their prices have beaten everybody else, and the third party person that they used to do the shipping communicated the way they were supposed to. I also like that Sherpa uses the small guys to ship the vehicles, which is cool because that helps keep those guys afloat as well. These guys go out of their way to communicate with you. I had my vehicle delivered to my daughter who's in college in Atlanta. So my daughter had to deal with them getting the vehicle off and back on. I'm in New Jersey and in both situations, these guys made me very, very comfortable.
Sherpa also offers a rebate. You send in your invoice and then they'll give you a rebate for a car. I did that but it never came through. But the price for the shipment was already great. It would have been the cherry on the top of the cake if they would have came through with the little thing like they promised. But I’d use Sherpa in a heartbeat if I had to and I've recommended them to other people as well.

Sherpa was good. I had arranged with someone else first and hadn't heard back from that other company. So, I called Sherpa and they explained to me what the other company had done. I asked how I could get rid of that company and get to them. So, they told me what I needed to do. They said that they would guarantee pick-up within three days, including that day and I told them that I would cancel the other one and call them right back, and spoke with the same person every time. About an hour after that, they said that they had someone that could pick it up that day. From the time I first called them to the time the vehicle was picked up was maybe eight hours. I was very happy with that.
The communication was very good. They called me when they picked up the vehicle and they might have called every day to give me an update. It was two days on the road. So, they called me the next day and told me when they thought they would be here. Then, they called me the following day and told me that they were running early and that they would be here the night before they said they would be. We arranged where to meet and the time, and they were right on time. Plus, the quote was exact. The price that they told me was what I paid and it was a fair price. People should use them. They should call them first and not call anyone else.

From the initial contact to delivery, everything was top notch. The only drawback was the contracted driver did not carry either a Bill of Lading or a cash receipt with him. I had the pick up contact take photos but was not provided a BOL, so I had nothing upon delivery. I provided a cash receipt for him to sign to ensure that I would have a record of cash payment with the driver. Having said that, the driver contacted me several times to give me updates, was very professional and did a great job getting me the car undamaged and ahead of scheduled delivery. I would use them again but would like to see them upgrade their operation with proper paperwork for the customer.

Dealing with Sherpa’s customer service team was very informative. I will use them again. The vehicle was in great condition and the miles were exactly how it was when I dropped it off. The communication with the driver was good and he was very polite.

I really enjoyed working with my rep. He was very professional, friendly, and accommodating. I was texted what time the driver was going to be in places. The Hyundai Sonata 2011 came in the condition I expected it to be and there were no changes in the final cost so I was happy about that. Sherpa's price may be a little bit higher than other companies but that's just quoted price. Once it’s all said and done, the cost is going to be the same or maybe even lower than other companies. Sherpa was also very timely and they made the experience pain-free. I would use them again if I need to ship my vehicle.

Sherpa Auto Transport provided accurate information regarding how the process works. The process flowed smoothly resulting in my 1968 Camaro and 1969 Corvette being transported successfully from Albuquerque, NM to Millersville, MD in great shape. The carrier, Dani Transportation Inc., did a great job loading my cars 8/26 at 6 pm and delivering them 8/29 at noon. The next time I have to ship a car I will not hesitate to call Sherpa Auto Transport. William H. and Daren E. at Sherpa were excellent. The driver, Abu ____, was excellent. Sherpa's price was okay and their guarantee on it was what swayed me to go with them. They delivered the car near my house at the Home Depot parking lot because of the size of the rig. The car was perfect and the quote I was given was accurate to the final price I paid. It all went smoothly, which was about as much as I could ask for.

I liked Sherpa's price and they had this rebate thing where I could get back $100. When I was setting things up, the rep I had was amazing and I felt like I was talking to a friend. Aside from that, I talked a lot with the driver and my Tesla Model 3 was perfect when it arrived

I read so many horror stories about shipping cars cross-country during a move. Sherpa Auto was highly recommended everywhere I looked, and the customer service seemed so much better than typical brokers who seem to just hand you off to the carrier as soon as it's booked. When I called Sherpa, someone picked up immediately, without even having to go through a phone menu or anything. Sherpa walked me through the process step-by-step and let me know what to expect (and look for!) for the whole experience. I also referred to their guides online repeatedly, which was so helpful. They also were super responsive via email, while still giving me all the info I needed for decisions upfront without me having to ask (and without me having to call back if I missed the call!).
The carrier they found for me was WONDERFUL. Sherpa gave me his cell and email as soon as it was booked, and he was a great communicator. My car arrived in perfect condition, even earlier than originally quoted. The price was also super competitive - I would venture to say it was actually on the lower end of quotes (not the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive) and the customer service provided was worth far more than I paid. Thank you for taking such great care of my car, and for making this the easiest part of my cross-country move!

I transported my car from Washington to Oklahoma. I called Sherpa then I set things up online just to double check and the process was pretty straightforward. But in the beginning, I had to call to follow-up to see what the status update was on my booking. They said they would call me at the end of the day but they never did, so I decided to call them. I could understand because they couldn't find anybody yet, but I would've still liked if they called to tell me that.
Other than that, they let me know how much was the quote and it was fair. When I was shopping around, most of the prices I got were around the ballpark, but Sherpa was the best bang for the buck. They were also able to accommodate me as I needed the transport done as soon as possible and I got the car in four days. The driver kept me updated with different texts saying where they were and we tried to coordinate to drop the car off at my place, but the truck was too big to get through one of the roads, so we met up on a gas station. The car was dusty from the road but that was understandable, and they cleaned it. Aside from that, there wasn't any scratch, so that was good.

Sherpa got back to me quickly. They informed me how the process worked and they were able to pick the car up quickly. The rep I worked with told me what they needed to do to see if they could find a carrier to transport my car and got back to me and said, “We got one. And here's the price. And we can pick her up tomorrow.” The quote given was what I paid. The carrier driver let me know through a phone call when they would be here. The only thing was I'd like to have more communication as to where they were. They just told me they would be here to deliver the car in two hours, and that was about 7:30 on a Saturday evening. Luckily, I had already gotten cash from the bank. But if I had not known, I would not have had cash. I wouldn't have been able to receive the car that evening if I didn't because the bank would’ve been closed. Other than that, the people I dealt with were excellent. They did exactly what I asked them to do.

I used Colonial Van Lines when I moved my house from Maryland to Vancouver, Washington. They also coordinated moving my cars and they were able to move one of them. But they somehow canceled my second car move. I told them that I needed it moved out by July 22nd and they said that they couldn't find anything. They said that on that weekend, they could do it but I told them to forget it. So, I started calling around and Sherpa was able to find the driver. I was thankful that they were able to squeeze me in in such a short notification. The driver was really good, too. I got the call at least 24 hours in advance and I was able to text him back and forth. Where I live, it's a little hard to bring those 18-wheeler to load the cars, so we were able to connect. We agreed to meet.at a nearby gas station and he was there before the time. So, things worked really well for the pickup.
The same thing happened for the drop-off. We were still staying at the hotel while we were buying the house, so I couldn't be there, but my wife was there. We told him that at the main street in front of the hotel we were staying in, he should be able to pull over or he could drop the car off. So, there was coordination. The call came the day before and the communication happened in the morning. So, the process was seamless. They were also really professional and they took care of the car well.
The other company I used called me three hours before they came to pick up and drop-off my other car, so we had no clue when they were coming. Then for the drop-off, I had to track down these drivers and where they were because they didn’t tell me the exact date they were landing. Then it turned out that they were dropping off the car to somebody else locally here and a different company would be handling the delivery. So, I couldn't figure it out. The drop-off guy also said that the amount of money I had to hand over was $1,400, but my balance was only $1,300. I had the cashier’s check for $1,300 and I told him that I needed to coordinate with his company to figure out where the $100 discrepancy was coming from. It was a nightmare and I still haven't got the $100 back from that company. Compared to them, Sherpa was top-notch and we were happy with them.

We were moving from Georgia to Arizona and we had made arrangements with family to transport. At the last minute, we had to get a second moving truck, which took away one of our drivers, so the only option left was to ship one of the vehicles. So, we decided which vehicle to ship. I had reached out in the beginning of the moving planning, to see, in the event that I used a moving company to do this instead of a self-move, what would be the cost to transport cars. So, at that point, I had contacted Sherpa based on their reviews that I read and they had given me an estimate, so I had a good feeling for how much extra it was going to cost us with that.
I called Sherpa and they reactivated the bid and even though it was some weeks later, they gave us the original price that they had quoted us. It was seamless. We made arrangements, paid our deposit and left the car with some friends because all of this was last minute and Sherpa gave us a pickup window of several days. They notified the friends when the driver was coming to pick up the vehicle. They took pictures. It was very well done and they came super fast. I was surprised. It was two and a half days, maybe, to transport from Jonesboro, Georgia, which is a suburb of Atlanta, all the way out here to Gilbert, Arizona, which is a suburb of the Phoenix Metro area. It all went off smoothly. The guy called me and I made arrangements. I got my cashier's check in hand. The guy called me and said that he would be here the next day at such and such time. He drove right up outside, dropped my car and we did our business.
Sherpa was good. I've never used an auto transport before but my sons do restoration work with autos, so they worked with them before. I didn't realize how important it is to get a reputable company to work with when you're doing auto transport, because sometimes they've quoted a price and you go to pick up your vehicle and suddenly there's more money. So, it's almost like they're renting you your car back to you. But I had absolutely none of that. It was as professional as I expected it to be and then some.

I was nervous about shipping my automobile from Virginia to New Hampshire with a stopover in New York. Sherpa made it quick, simple and seamless. Great customer service and communication all along the process.

My move with Sherpa went very well. The dispatchers were very pleasant and patient with me. But for first-time people who have never dealt with something like this before, it would soothe a lot of worries to have a little customer contact saying, "We're working on it. Don't worry. Everything's gonna be okay." It was the first time I've ever dealt with anything like this, so I was a bit concerned because I didn't have a confirmed pick-up date at first. But once I got that, the guy was very prompt and conscientious. My car was delivered a day earlier than anticipated. My daughter said that when the driver dropped the car off, he was very pleasant and professional.

The representative was very meticulous and explained everything to me. He was more accurate than the other guys from the other companies and was cautious with me. He explained it could be this or it could be a little bit more but this would be right in the ballpark, and it was. The whole experience was good and I was a little worried for naught. Overall, it was a clean transaction with Sherpa and there was a lot of good communication. The reps were very professional and I got callbacks. They walked me through every step of the way.
The guy picked up the vehicle and I paid it right then. I was told that they could deliver it in the daytime and that they do it all the time. But the guy who delivered the vehicle said that he was gonna be here tomorrow and it was gonna be after 5:00. I said that I was moving into an apartment temporarily and the apartment manager goes home, and the guy in Sacramento told me that they could work with that. This guy said that he didn’t know anything about it and that he had so many deliveries and he needed to drop it off. I said that I don’t know anybody except the office manager and she leaves at five o'clock and she's got something going on. He said he would see what he could do. The next day, he said that he would have the car delivered in the daytime, and he did. It went smoothly. The driver was a great guy and easy to talk to. That was the only scary part but it worked out fine and the vehicle was perfect when it arrived.

Shipped a brand new Honda CRV from the bay area in California to NYC and I had an amazing experience. Everyone involved on both sides were punctual, responsive, and professional. Sherpa did a great job communicating on behalf of the 3rd party transport company. I changed the pickup date by a week and it was seamless. Most importantly the car arrived in perfect condition. I moved my family including a 6 month old baby across the country so I was looking for peace of mind and I certainly got it. I really appreciate everyone's effort and highly recommend this company for anyone looking to have a "set it and forget it" experience. Worth the premium I paid so I could focus on my family. Fixed bid so no surprises, and the car wash reimbursement is nice gesture.

Dealing with the customer service reps was fantastic. The driver wasn’t able to pick up the car in a residential area but I live close to a farm and we were able to make accommodations. My aunt did the pickup and she said he was professional. It was a good experience and if I had to do it again, I would go back to Sherpa.

The driver was very professional about loading and unloading the cars. He kept in contact with me through texts and phone calls. He kept me updated on where he was. He got here a day early and everything went really well on that end of the move. After we unloaded the cars, we got him some coffee, hung out, and talked to him for a minute. It was a very good experience.

I had to change my dates 3 different times speaking w/ Jasmine, David, and Jeremiah and all 3 were courteous, understanding and helpful! Driver picked up car in Colorado 2:30pm on a Thursday and delivered to Chicago area at 7:30pm on Friday, the next day! Fantastic service!

Pickup and delivery was fantastic. Delivery was ahead of schedule. Driver communicated along the way to let me know where he at. The price provided at the quote was the end price which in this industry is a big thing because no one keeps the same end price. I would definitely use again. If only they moved household goods too.

Vehicle was picked up and delivered at (+) or ( - ) times specified. Pick up and delivery was more on the early side. Everything went really smoothly with Sherpa and I recommend them. The quote I got was completely accurate. On pick-up, the guy came up and gave us a lot of information. We had each other cell phone number. And then I also gave the driver the cell phone number of my friend who would be there when the vehicle was delivered, and then they communicated. The timeframe was accurate as well. On pick-up the driver said the move would be 10 days and the delivery was in nine days.

Sherpa's customer service team was really friendly. I had a good experience with them. I would have liked the quote to be lower as it was significantly more expensive than other places and much more expensive than what I was hoping for. But it seemed like the shipment would be more secure and less likely to cancel that way, so I went with it. The pick-up and delivery went well. When the drivers picked up the car, I had to meet them somewhere else. When they dropped it off, I was able to meet them across the street. So, that was good.

I called Sherpa and the rep was so kind and nice. They guaranteed the rate for my move. The driver was very nice too. He texted me and let me know where he was and when he was going to be there because he had other vehicles to deliver. The move went really well. The vehicle needed a carwash when it arrived and Sherpa gave me the fee to get one. They also gave me a $100 gift card back. So, it was a win-win for me. Sherpa was excellent and I recommend them highly.

We needed to do a nine-hour transport for a vehicle we purchased. We used Sherpa for this and it worked out. They stepped up to the plate and did what they said they were going to do. I was super happy. The quote was reasonable and was what we were expecting. The people were fast, professional, and got the job done. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Sherpa Transport. I first tried to save money with another company, only to be offered a date after I had moved at a price almost twice the original quote. Communication is a priority, and that was carried out very well with Sherpa. Delivery ran a little late, but I was in constant contact and communication with the drivers. That made customer service real good. Long-distance moving is always full of anxiety, and the particular person I was dealing with made it anxiety-free. That was appreciated. Dino from Red Dot was superb. He communicated regularly, took great care with the car and arrived precisely when he said he would. I can recommend Dino without hesitation. He was not able to deliver door-to-door due to restrictions with local streets, and that was fine with me. With all the bait-and-switch charlatans out there, Sherpa is an honest alternative.

We had a great experience working with the drop off and pick up individuals. They were thorough and communicative. The office is harder to engage with and had more hiccups, such as long wait times on hold then disconnected, received wrong driver contact info (was contact info for another family shipping their car - we were both surprised by that!), and early confirmation of pick up when it hadn’t happened yet. Overall though and most importantly, the car arrives on time and in good condition. That’s all that really matters in the end.

Sherpa provided excellent service from start to finish. We were shipping from a small town to a small town and it was not cheap. Another company gave us a much cheaper bid but their answers to my questions were unsatisfactory. Sherpa immediately responded to all my calls and emails during the whole process. Sherpa called me within 10 minutes of the email quote request and worked with me until the dealer/banker got on the same page and the vehicle was ready for pickup. Car arrived a day a head of schedule and was in perfect condition. Then, I mailed in the Bill of Lading for a credit back to wash my new car!

The price was in line. It was competitive. I wasn't home so there were a couple of changes to get the thing picked up a couple of times. But the manager took care of it. I’m staying in a hotel waiting for my home to be finished. So they delivered it at the shopping center right next door, and that went fine. The transaction went smooth and my car came unscathed. I was happy.

I did quite a bit of research and looked at Sherpa along with six other transport companies. Sherpa's pricing was the middle of the road and I went with that. The reviews were very positive too. There was a lot of communication through email. I was told when I was to pay the fee. When I called, they said it might be two or three days to pick up the car. I was really trying to get it sooner and they said it was usually always sooner. They just get that window to make sure my expectations would be met. Usually, they can find somebody to grab the car right away and they did. It was within two days.
Everything was very clear about the cash on delivery and the payment upfront. They were laid out properly and there were no surprise hidden charges. I had a very positive experience and I would highly recommend Sherpa. The process was very easy and painless. The quote was accurate, the pricing was fair, and the customer service was excellent.

Sherpa's reps were professional and prompt in replying. They transported my car for 1,200 miles and the quote they gave me was spot-on. The driver was very communicative and during the pickup, he made sure I understood where he was before he got to my house and what time he was going to arrive. Then, it was the same thing on the drop-off. He communicated well in advance and gave us advance notice when he was going to be there and showed up on time.

I bought a car from an auction and I looked at at least 10 companies to have it transported from Atlanta to L.A.. Sherpa sounded very professional, so I went with them. The quote they gave me was a little bit off, but they adjusted their end and they made it happen. So, I was very happy. Then, the driver contacted me when they got close by and said that we needed to meet up. We live in a residential area, so he couldn't bring the car close by. He had to bring it a couple of blocks away in a bigger street. We also had to send another tow truck because his truck was too big and wouldn't fit in our block. When I got the car, it had a little bit of damage, but it was probably from the auction.

The way Sherpa checked the car and marked everything that was on it was the best. I got a notification that the driver would be there, then he got there early. They tried to give us a half-hour notice so we could get there, and then we got the text or call that they would be there such amount of time. They delivered the car as expected. It was in great condition. Sherpa was a reliable and quality company. I would use them again.

Sherpa has a policy that they can make sure you get a driver because they will guarantee it up to $300 to pay the driver that much money. The rep asked me everything I needed to know and answered any questions that I had. Because I set it up six weeks in advance, they kept in touch with me through emails. The driver let me know when he was 30 minutes away, then came and picked up the car. Because I had it delivered to a friend of mine, he notified them 30 to 40 minutes ahead of delivering it, exactly what they said they would do. Go with Sherpa.

Within hours, Sherpa confirmed my schedule and the driver for me. I was really impressed. I called two times just for different questions that I had. The rep was very knowledgeable, concise with his answers, and I was satisfied after the call. There was one instance when the driver was not able to get ahold of me via phone call. So, I received text messages, I called them back, and they were very communicative between when my car was picked up to when it was dropped off a week later.

Sherpa had a good rating on Better Business Bureau and it said that Sherpa was a bit more expensive than some of the other ones, but they had a guarantee to get your car moved in the appropriate time frame. I realized that in that industry, they give you a date but it would float a couple of days here or there. So, it's not definitive because they are just an agent. They're not actually moving the car. I was always moving out of state, so I wanted to make sure that I had that whole week. I would still be up in New York. So, I decided to call them and get a quote.
I had some lowball quotes, but most of them were at 700, 800. The rep gave me a quote of 1,900 and I said to him, "Look, don't you guys have some more guarantees than the other companies?" But $1,900, that's more than double. He ended up inputting the wrong destination. He put it in California rather than North Carolina. So, he went back to check it, and then he said, "Oh, wait a minute. I screwed up. Hold on one second." He then did it. They were a bit more expensive, but I wanted my car to get down there. I was moving to North Carolina and they're based out of Charlotte.
I called Sherpa the week before and they said, "Yeah, we don't have anything yet. But typically, these things happen pretty quickly. We'll let you know." My first date was a Monday, 19th of July. Sherpa sent me an email on Sunday saying that, "We don't have a driver yet, but we're gonna keep you informed." That was good to know that I was in the queue. I was surprised because Sherpa called me and said, "Okay, today's the day, and guess what, we got a driver and the guy's going to be there in a couple of hours." He then told me the name of the company and said the guy would call me. He would be here in a couple of hours, which was accurate. So, I was prepared.
I wish they gave me a bit more of a notice, but it was fine. I was home, and then the driver came. He called me when he got to my house and those folks were from North Carolina also. And the two folks from the company were very good. I gave one my daughter's number, where he would drop the car off in North Carolina. I asked him when they would be there. Because with these auto transports, sometimes it would take three days. He said, "No, I'm going to be down there tomorrow. I'm probably not gonna get there till 5:00." I said, "Okay, good. My daughter will be available any time after 3:00." The driver was very courteous. I had a nice talk with him
He got down there early and called my daughter. She said, "Look, I'm not going to be home until like 2:33." He said, "Okay, no problem. I'll hold off." He came, dropped the car off, we had cash for him and everything worked out good. The car was in good shape, no dents. It looked exactly like it was in New York. They got my car up without incident and they were able to communicate to my destination. Everything worked out as planned and scheduled.

Sherpa had some of the best reviews. Even though they were a bit more than a couple of other companies, I decided that it was well worth some extra money to go through them. The rep let me know my time frame and sent me emails and let me know when to expect my car. I have a GPS thing on my car but it stopped working the day that my car was picked up. For some people that have control issues like me, that might help. Other than that, Sherpa was communicative and they got my car here on time.

There was a lot of communication, which I appreciated. The timeline was a bit out of window. But the driver communicated as such there was a lot of traffic. It was a weekend. The driver was pleasant and it was a very smooth transaction.

Sherpa's prices were good and the customer service rep that I had talked to was really friendly. The reps I dealt with were fantastic, too. They explained everything to me that I needed to know and I felt confident that everything was going to be fine, and it was. My vehicle was shipped from Illinois to South Carolina and it took a week, which was exactly what they had told me. The driver was also texting and calling me during the transport. He was really good. All in all, I highly recommend the Sherpa company.

Everything from the first call to drop off I had a great experience. Sherpa was super helpful and great customer service. I shipped my cars from California to Washington and the driver helped my wife with both cars. A bit much but totally worth the money. You get what you pay for and I’m happy.

The Sherpa sales rep overcommitted saying that the vehicle could be picked up at a certain day and time and promised that they would get there because it was early in the morning when we talked and that they should be able to get their guy out the next day and it was only a 24-hour drive. Well, come to find out it was three days after I was leaving for my trip. I was on the phone numerous times with one of the people down in North Carolina and I told them the whole reason I was picking them was that the salesman told me that the car would be here before I left for my trip. So, I'll have to have friends come over and receive the car, but I won't leave money with them to pay for it. They waived the fee to use my credit card.
The company communicated but they did the typical, "We'll be here at certain times," so I had to give my friends notice to get here 'cause they don't live here. The transport guy said that he'd be there at 11:00, but then the truck broke down and so he'd come at 1:00. I had to string them along for a few hours, which was kind of annoying, but they finally made it. I work for a trucking company so I know how it goes and this whole thing could have gone a lot better. But live and learn. Sherpa needs to step up to what they did. I should have gotten a $100 gift card and I haven't seen that as well. I probably won't use them again.

I was looking at different options and when I looked at the Better Business Bureau, Sherpa was recommended and it had the highest rating. I used them to transport a car I bought from a family member living in another state. Everything went smoothly. Right off the bat, I was able to get a lot of my questions answered, which was super helpful. I ended up doing the transport the week of the Fourth of July and I was told, "Just so you're aware, this might be a little bit higher just because of the weekend it is." The quote ended up being still pretty accurate and not much different from what it would have been the week after. That was nice. I got notifications from the driver and I was able to ask questions. I got the car quicker than I thought I would, so that was awesome.

Sherpa had a lock-in quote and knowing that I wasn't gonna be charged more money later sealed the deal. The representative was great and the driver really did a great job. He got to my destination before I did. He helped set things up with my new apartment complex to leave the car at the right place. He really went above and beyond. I really had a wonderful experience with Sherpa. I've used them twice, to bring a car from Massachusetts and also to deliver a car to my daughter in Tulsa. The people that I dealt with gave me updated information all the way through and understood the urgency that I had. They were able to keep their word, that the drivers were very polite. Both drivers who I dealt with were knowledgeable as well and there was no haggling with the payment. I've just yet to receive my discount coupon though. But other than that, I would highly recommend Sherpa to all my friends and any consumer.

I was shipping a car from the east coast to Arizona and I got 20 different quotes. Then, I found a website that talked about how to pick someone to transport your car and about who were the top ones. Sherpa came in as the most affordable and it said they were very responsive. That was what I would prefer, so I went with them. They were easy to work with and I didn’t have any problems. The only thing that made me nervous was I didn't hear who specifically was going to be the transporter until about a little bit less than a week before. They didn't know until five days before our schedule and since I was moving, I wanted to make sure my car was going to be moved. But the guy who was the transporter was very communicative and everything worked out fine. The quote they gave me also turned out to be the same amount I paid.

I reached out to three companies and Sherpa had the best communication. They were good about follow-up phone calls and emailed communication. The quote was perfectly accurate, and they did a good job of making sure I was aware that things might change depending on things. Also, the driver was lovely, and I would use him again. Sherpa was a bit more than somebody else, but at least I knew that was all I was gonna pay. They guaranteed the price. The thing is, at first it was 1,300, then it went up to 1,600 because of the time of the year. Other than that, everything worked out fine and it was a good experience. The driver was good. I live in a residential area, and he parked the truck on the main road and drove the car to the house. He was going to walk back and I said, “No, you're not going to walk back. It's hot. This is Texas.” I drove him back to his truck. He delivered the car a day earlier than I expected, and I was happy about that. The only thing is that the car was filthy when I got it. I couldn’t even see out of the window, but I don't know that they can avoid that unless it's enclosed.

Customer service was very good and the quote I was given was in the ballpark of the other ones I had. Pickup was right on time, and very thorough. Everybody was helpful and asked the right questions. The drivers communicated great. They always let me know what was happening. Even when they came to pick up the car, they accommodated where I asked them to meet me. I knew that they are limited in the spaces that they can go in and they would not be able to make it in my community, but there was a convenient place that I asked if they'd be able to meet me. No questions asked. It was the same thing with drop-off. They met me as close as they possibly could with it being convenient for both of us. Nothing came up as a surprise through the whole process, and they ended up doing the transport a lot faster than I expected them to.
I've never shipped my car before, so in the event that I were to ever have to do it again, I would refer to Sherpa based on two standpoints. First, I had a good customer service experience, which people never hear about. People only hear when things are wrong. Second, they were one of the only ones that could guarantee my price and I did not have any additional charges. It made it all a lot easier that I knew what to expect and when.

Sherpa's service was excellent and everything turned out the way I expected. They were able to answer all my questions quickly and accurately. Plus, the driver that we had was very helpful. My daughter received the vehicle and he was able to accommodate her time and location. From the pickup, the transport took six or seven days, and the quote was accurate.

I used Sherpa to ship a car three years ago, so I just reached out to them again. I didn’t think about it the next time. What I mainly look for is quality and if I have to pay a little more, it’s okay. This time, they gave me a five-day window and I said, “Okay. But I’d much rather be at the end of that window. I want it to be Thursday or Friday.” They originally quoted me Thursday or Friday. I said, “Sweet, that sounds great.” A week and a half before though, someone called me and said, “We're confirming that we're gonna pick it up on Tuesday.” I said, “What do you mean Tuesday? Why?” He said, “Oh, I got a message saying that you wanted it earlier as possible.” I said, “What are you talking about? Where did that message come from? How did this happen?”
The guy said he'd rearrange his own schedule to make it earlier for me, and Sherpa gets a point, in a way, for trying to help me, but why did they do that in the first place? That was weird. I was clear about my time, but somebody screwed up. The date ended up being Tuesday, which was an inconvenience for my daughter. However, the car got here and everything worked out. The communication during delivery was good. They were available, and they have a dispatch number one can call and someone answers even after hours.

Sherpa was good. We were doing the transport in the summer, and with what's happened with COVID, it built up demand and not enough drivers. All of the companies had very high pricing compared to normal, but Sherpa had a price lock, as well as they would pay up to $300 if the carrier who moved our car looked for more money at the end. The carrier picked up the car Monday then delivered it Tuesday night, and we had a leak in the windshield washer fluid container. Although it was working fine, I had gotten an indication before there was a problem with it. When the car arrived, it leaked on our garage floor, so I don't know if that occurred during the move or may have been a problem before.

I felt that Sherpa had the best reviews. As for my experience, it was so-so. The dispatcher for Sherpa was awful. He did not follow instructions. I had specifically given him instructions to call, “Here’s your primary number. If you can’t reach that, call this number for the California side. And then if you can’t reach that second number, then call me.” He just kept calling me and I was across the country. I was like, “Did you call the other numbers first?” He said he called them. Then I checked and said, “Hey, did this person or this number call you?” “No, we haven’t gotten any phone calls today.”
I just had a terribly busy schedule. I had a lot going on. So I was like, “Can you please make sure that you call these numbers before you call me. Because one, my phone is usually on Do Not Disturb while I'm studying, so I may not even get it. So if you just call me, not only am I on the East Coast, and you're going through the West Coast, right? I just want to make sure you have information.” But he would lie and say, “Oh, I did. I tried them.” He didn’t. So, that was really frustrating because there was a lot of back and forth. Then he gave me the wrong pick-up time. I received a phone call saying that the truck driver was gonna be out there on the 4th of July after 6:30 pm. I said, “Are you sure that the truck driver wants to come towards the DC area, where it’s the nation's capital, on a holiday weekend when they're doing fireworks? That's kind of a weird time.” He was like, “Well, that’s the time that I was given.”
An hour or so later, the truck driver called and said he was 20 minutes away. This was July 3rd. I was like, “Well, I was just told an hour or so ago that you weren't coming until tomorrow night.” I did not have any cash on me, and I didn’t have a car. So, I had to call a neighbor. It was like 8:30 pm and a holiday weekend. That took all this extra time like, “Can you do Venmo? Can we Cash App?” It was like a nightmare. Then the truck driver said, “Well, I told him I was two hours away.”
The biggest issue was the dispatcher with Sherpa being an idiot and not getting stuff correctly. That was annoying and a really huge inconvenience for me. I had to call an Uber, which was on a holiday weekend. Then I had to wait 18 minutes for the Uber to arrive. I needed to get dressed. It was a big hassle because the dispatcher had the time wrong. On the other hand, the truck driver was very nice, courteous and careful. He did as much due diligence as he could. He spent a decent amount of time talking to my father in California picking up my car.

Setup was very easy and smooth, and the driver communicated from the pickup and delivery. He was really good, but he cost an additional $300, so maybe Sherpa could consider that $300 next time.

Sherpa seemed reputable, and they had a price guarantee. In that industry, I learned that pricing is a mishmash because the auto transport companies do not own the trucks. They are only brokers. So, if you pick one of them, and you wanna transport your car, they go out and find an actual auto transporter and look for bids on your move. So, they don't own equipment. They get your job, and then they put it out for bids to get an actual auto transport with a truck. So, when they quote you a price upfront, it’s dependent on what kind of bids they can get on it. They’d put it out at a certain price, and they look for someone to pick up the job. So, when you get an auto transport company, you don't wanna go with the person who gives you the upfront price because they're gonna go up for bids, and then they're gonna come back to you and say, “Nobody will take it at that price. This is the price that they'll do it at.” Magically, their price goes up.
The problem with that is by the time you find that out, you’re getting very close to your move date, and most likely, you won't be able to get another person. It’s locked in at that point, so then you're stuck with the price increase. I learned that out because I investigated. I looked at reviews. Some companies, Sherpa being one, have been in the business long enough and they look at what recent jobs were done at, so they have a pretty good idea as far as how much the job is gonna cost. They're so confident in how much it's gonna cost that they gave me a guarantee and said, “It's not gonna be more than that. If it's more than that, we'll eat it.” They weren't the cheapest that I saw, but at least I knew it wasn't gonna go up. As far as the transport, there was communication when the driver was on the way to pick up my car. Then there was communication on the other end when he was preparing to deliver it. I was very satisfied with the whole experience.

Jon was the one who dealt with Sherpa primarily. He communicated with them and they were very communicative. They were really good. The rep was texting the whole time and she was very good about being in touch. They were really friendly. When they did the drop off, they were really good people doing a great job. It was a great experience with them. We found the car in Florida, and we needed it to get to a very rural California. It could have gone wrong on a lot of levels but it went right the whole way through. We were really happy with them. It couldn't have been better.

Sherpa said good things and although the quote was a little higher, they said it was guaranteed that they wouldn't change the price. The driver was polite and the trailer was carpeted head to toe, so the car was very safe. We were in contact with the driver the whole time, and the car we purchased in New York was here in three days. Dylan (the rep) said, after we were done, we are going to get a $100 gift card, but I don't know how to claim it. Other than that, it was a good experience and I was very pleased with it.

The final price was exactly what they quoted me. I shipped two different vehicles and I used two separate companies. Sherpa was a little higher than the other company. But the fact that they gave me an exact date that it would be picked up and an exact date that it’ll be dropped off was the reason why I went with them. I talked to the driver three times before they picked up the vehicle. I also talked to him the day they picked up and then midway in between. Then I talked to him before they did delivery and on the delivery day. He really did all the communication. He was calling me all the time, which was good. Sherpa did exactly what they said they were going to do. The person I talked to at Sherpa was nice. The driver that picked up the vehicle was really nice. Instead of me taking an Uber, he drove me back to my place.

There were other places that quoted me less, but the guy that I spoke to on the phone from Sherpa was overly confident and his confidence won me over. Everything went well with the pickup. With the delivery, the guy drove the truck to my house, gave me the keys, I gave him some money, and then he left. Sherpa was nice, and I will use them again if I ever need to move another vehicle.

Their quote was fair and accurate based on the research that I did before speaking with them. The delivery of my car was smooth, predictable and what I expected. They came in a day sooner than planned. I was promised a $100 rebate, and as soon as I got the bill of lading, I've sent it off to them, and I haven't received that. The rep that I worked with said it takes two to three business days for them to mail out the rebate. It's been about three weeks now, and I haven't received the rebate. I'm annoyed that I have to take time to call them and say, “Hey, I haven’t received the rebate.” But apart from that, I would definitely use them again and I would definitely recommend them to anyone that’s looking to move their vehicle.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Had to get a car from NJ to Minnesota. My first exchange was with Jordan at Sherpa. She walked me through the process and explained everything. She's great and a terrific representative for the company. Then I received the emails about the shipper, etc. On the day of transport, Mike from R&K Towing arrived and put the car on a flatbed to bring it back to the car carrier. He too was a great guy. The carrier was Robert Williams Trucking. They stayed in touch with my sister on the other end and told her when he expected to arrive. From start to finish I could not have asked for a better experience. I would recommend Sherpa without hesitation.

We were very happy with Sherpa. They weren’t the least expensive but there were a lot of pluses on their side. We were in contact with the driver the whole time. It got here within a week!!! I called the customer service line and spoke to a very helpful young lady. She looked at some dates and gave me an idea of the transaction and the process from pickup to delivery. She emailed me the quote as well and said that I could call her directly if I had any questions or if I wanted to follow up. That additional touch and that extra personal and customer service was key for me. Sherpa also had the best rate compared to the other competitors, so I chose them.
The quote I was provided was accurate. Nothing changed within the time between pickup and delivery, and for what I received compared to what I paid, everything was excellent. My dad had to pick the car up at a Walmart parking lot. From what I was told, delivery was supposed to go to a residential area to my father's house, but I'm assuming that the reason why my dad had to drive to another location to get the keys from the driver was the truck couldn't get into the area. My dad didn't have any issues, and he said everything was fine when he picked up the car. He was happy, so I was happy. If I have any other needs to transport cars, Sherpa would definitely be my first call, and if anybody else reaches out to me in need of a car transport service, I will definitely refer them to Sherpa.

I researched three different auto transport companies. Sherpa seemed to have the most reliable online reputation, which is ultimately how I made the decision. I did not make the decision based on price, but I thought it was fair. I was told I was getting a $100 rebate within a couple of weeks of submitting paperwork. I did this a little while ago, and I have not yet received the rebate. The team at Sherpa did a fine job in booking the trip. As far as the delivery, some of the communication could have been a little bit better, but the driver gave me his number. When I really needed to know something, I called the driver and then I got a quick answer. Overall, the experience was very good. This is a market where they're booking agents and their drivers. In the future, if I knew the driver, I would not call Sherpa but given that I was new to this market, I was perfectly happy to go through them. Everything worked out quite well, and they did a great job.

I gotten quotes from 12 places and a lot of them started really low at 500 bucks for that transport. But once I talked to other people, the quotes quickly went from 500 to 1,000. It was a bait and switch tactic. Sherpa's quote was higher at about 900 or 1,000. I really liked the upfront price they gave us. It was real and it wasn't changing after the initial thing. It was really nice that what they quoted us was what we paid. The move was from Washington to Arizona. Everything seemed to work really well. We were able to get our car relatively quickly. We were all set within a week.

I needed to ship a car and Sherpa really helped secure a driver for me. Their guarantee really helped me and their promise to have a driver pickup my car within 3 business days was accomplished. My only advice is prepare for it possibly taking 3 business days for the vehicle to be picked up. The service that was provided by MNSTR Trucking Inc. was phenomenal!! I recommend Sherpa in the future if you need a car transported.

The gentleman at Sherpa was telling me upfront what it was and he was comfortable in saying that his company will do this. He was really cool and I liked him a lot. I told him to make it happen. Well, they did exactly what they told me they were going to do. Sherpa costs a few more dollars than what other people were trying to provide. I contacted Sherpa and they got back very quickly. That was smart marketing and business practices on their part. Their way of doing business with a customer was good enough that I refused offers from another firm. Sherpa was as good as what they said they would be in terms of getting back with locating a driver. The shipment process went exceedingly well. The estimated time was six days from Santa Barbara, California to my location in Gainesville, Florida. It ended up to be just a bit over three days.
Sherpa arranged for the driver to be at my gate the following morning. The vehicle was delivered with absolutely no damages. It was a superb job. The cost was not exactly inexpensive but Sherpa's fees were in the ballpark with the others. Between the customer service, the delivery time, the lack of damage, and fees, I was very happy with the service I got from Sherpa.

Sherpa gave a quick response to my original inquiry and the quote they gave me seemed competitive enough. The pickup and delivery were both great experiences. I was not there for the pickup, but my agent on that end said it was very smooth. During transportation, the driver stayed at an appropriate level of contact. Everything worked out exactly as described with Sherpa. The driver called when we were coming in. I gave him a pickup location that was out of the way and stable. He showed up right there within five minutes of his ETA. There was also no difference between the quote I was initially given and the final cost. We had one little snafu where the driver called and said something about the certified check being canceled. That sounded really flaky to me. I called Sherpa and they immediately knew exactly what was going on. They said, "Nope, that was a different person. You guys are all good." I called the driver back and he apologized. He called the wrong person. It all worked out really well in the end. On the whole, Sherpa was not the cheapest one that I got information from but it sounded the most realistic. It was pros all the way.

Closed the deal and needed car shipped. My new pride a 2003 Corvette Coupe. I ordered with Sherpa. Next day I received the call a driver would be calling. Hour later my driver called confirmed pick up for the next morning. I got an excellent walk around video of my new car documenting the condition. Two mornings later and the car was in my driveway. Sherpa did a really good job as far as being able to get somebody almost right away to bring the car down here. The other places that I called were either way overpriced or they were out for about a month in some cases before they'd be able to make a delivery. Sherpa wasn't the cheapest, but it was very competitive and I felt better when I talked to the guy about how they operate. When I first contacted Sherpa, I dealt with Jeremiah and he was very helpful. Then over a week's time or so, they kept me up to date. The guys that they had lined up to bring the car down were available sooner than the guy who had the car. So there was about a four day delay. Sherpa sent emails and then a couple of phone calls for the status of what was going on.
It was my first time having the vehicle transported and it worked out very well. But customers need to make sure they tell Sherpa if it's got to be an enclosed trailer. I did have a brand-new vehicle that I got in Illinois that was transported down here, but it wasn't in an enclosed vehicle. It had a glass chipped in the windshield when it was being transported. But Sherpa took care of it. It was no big deal. But if it had been in an enclosed trailer, then there wouldn't have been a problem. Other than that, the delivery guys were very good. They were pretty thorough. They took a lot of pictures before and after. So we knew everything was fine.

Sherpa shipped at the quoted price, got the vehicle in a week and delivered it. Their quote was a little higher, but it was a firm quote. With Sherpa, there's no monkey business and most people like that. They were wonderful all the way around. I was very pleased with Sherpa. The driver was great too. He was a down-home fella from Southern Missouri and I shipped to Arkansas. We stood and talked for an hour.

Sherpa was very responsive. I was on a timeline and needed a company that was going to be professional and timely. I could tell Sherpa was very organized and did a lot of auto transport. They gave a quote in a timely manner via email and were very clear on the next steps. They were top-notch. The vehicles were picked up on time as arranged and the drivers were professional. First, we started with one vehicle then we added a second one. Where I lived in Florida, they didn't allow trucks that size so I met one of the drivers at a parking lot nearby. I met the other driver on a residential street nearby that allowed larger trucks. But they were both very convenient, less than a mile from my home in Florida.
Both drivers were communicative throughout and I'm very pleased with how my two vehicles were transported from one coast to the other. They were dirty but the nice thing about Sherpa is you could go get a car wash on them and I took advantage of that. I got both cars washed and sent them the receipt. They credited my credit card $20 for each vehicle. My only complaint is the price was high but Sherpa didn't change the pricing so it was fair. Also, the price was high with every auto transport. I could have found one a little bit cheaper but they didn't seem as professional.

I looked at 3 main shippers to ship my new car from CO to CA. The main “knock” on Sherpa was high prices, however, after getting my quote the next day after requesting one, it was the same as one competitor, and then about $100 cheaper than the other. The customer service was great, and the time it took to get picked up was about 3 business days. From there, it took 2 days to get to me and was delivered directly to my house. Very happy with the experience and would recommend to anyone.

Sherpa wasn't the cheapest company in town but I liked the way that they had a guaranteed price lock that it would not exceed. If something did come up, it wouldn't exceed $300. Also, the reps were straightforward with me, they did exactly what they said they were going to do, and they were easy to get ahold of. They said it could be up to five days before they could get back to me when they get a shipper set up but it was three days.
The driver was excellent and very professional. He was delayed for a couple of hours but he kept me informed of delays on the roads. I requested an enclosed trailer and he brought a perfect vehicle to transport my son's car and secured the vehicle. My son couldn't have been happier with the guy. It was an awesome experience and I would use Sherpa again. I'm very, very impressed with the whole process from start to finish.

I had been working with two companies previous to Sherpa and I had extremely poor experiences. With Sherpa, from the very beginning, it was a good experience. On the initial call, the man I spoke to explained things very well. It was a 30-minute call because I had never transported a car before, so he really walked me through everything. I then immediately got his follow-up email, then every single day, I was getting reminder emails to let me know that they were still working on securing a driver.
It was less than a week until they found me a driver. Once they did, the driver came a couple of days later, and then they transported the car from Texas to California within three days. The entire experience was less than two weeks, and it was a great process. If Sherpa doesn't secure someone within the first couple of days, they'll eventually do it. The problem I was having with other folks is it felt like they completely forgot about me, and then two weeks later, I'd reach out and they would be extremely rude about it.

I phoned in and the rep told me exactly what the cost was and what was going to transpire. He told me about putting down a down payment and then possibly not being able to have a truck go from California to Georgia when I needed it. Then, he called me back to set it all up and everything went great. My husband was really pleased with the interaction with the driver and the vehicle, aside from being filthy, was okay. Overall, the experience was very professional, on time, and accurate. I was very happy about the whole situation because I'd been dealing with movers and car transports. I had a lot of logistics to figure out and that was the only thing that went according to plan.

My car was picked up when promised and quickly delivered. In fact, I had to arrange for a family member to pick it up because it arrived before I did. I was very nervous about having my car transported from Florida to Ohio. My worries were for naught. From the time I responded to their text message to the driver dropping off my car, they were courteous and respectful of my concerns. The car was picked up in the two-day window and delivered in the four-day window arriving on the second morning.
The driver was great! He called to give me the time he would arrive and was there as promised. He was so polite and helpful. I was fascinated watching him take the car off the ramp. I wish my grandchildren could have been there to see it. They would have loved it! The car arrived in perfect condition. I feel bad because I don’t remember the names of all the people I worked with, but I suspect anyone would have been as easy and honest to work with at this company. Sherpa had the price and they were responsive and very nice to work with. One time, I called them and nobody answered the phone. They said, “Email us.” I thought, “I'll do that next.” But then a couple of hours later, I got a call from them. They said, “We see that you called us and we weren't able to talk to you, but what was your question?” I thought, “My goodness, they've called me back?” They did, which was great. There was a 3-day window and I wanted it covered. The first three days, they posted it, onboard, and then they had to add some more money to it. But they really kept very much in touch with me on how it was going. Then, on the fourth day, they found somebody.

Sherpa was great and I'm really grateful that they had the woman who assisted me. She was the primary source of communication who was fielding all of the calls and was very reliable. If there was ever a time where a little bit of anxiety was starting to creep in, she was consistent. And so, it took away any of that opportunity. Aside from that, the quote they gave me and the final cost was the same throughout the whole thing and the only discrepancy was Sherpa's agent told me there was a cancellation window where things could be canceled and I wouldn't lose a deposit. But after a carrier was secured, it changed and it was opposite of what the Sherpa agent told me before. Other than that, I would recommend them.

I was moving a vehicle and Sherpa came through. I was working with another company but they never got back to me and I couldn't get ahold of them. Sherpa was more available than that one and getting a transport set up was very quick. It took about a week and the communication was pretty good. They wound up spending some of their money to help me find somebody.

Working with Sherpa was very good. I liked the fact that I could get someone on the phone. They were one of the highest priced but it was explained to me that they were likely to get the job done. Also, I didn't have to pay more than what they told me. I'd recommend them.

I had the best experience. I waited 10+ days for reliable transportation that turn out to be not reliable. I turned to Sherpa within the week that I called my car was on the road to California. The driver was very friendly, responsible, and kept me informed, even when his truck got a flat. But, he did what needed to be done and got my car to California. The arrangement was easy to do. Driver arrived on time and was very efficient and pleasant to deal with. When he arrived at the drop point he assisted my sister and was very polite to her. He even instructed her on how to operate the since she had not been in it before. Good experience overall.

It took Sherpa three weeks to get a truck located, which wasn't their fault, but it made it difficult. They ended up having to change the pricing because of not being able to locate a driver, but it ended up being the price that we were quoted. They also handled the car fine and it arrived in good shape in both directions.

Sherpa was mazing. They communicated well and got back right away. Whatever they quoted me was what I paid and the company that transported the car was unbelievable. They had a respectable driver with good communication. It was a high-end BMW 7 series that I brought to my home and he was very careful with it. The reps were friendly and helpful. I had done so much research that I already knew a lot of what was going to happen but they answered any questions I had and they reassured me that they would help me along the way. So, I didn't have to worry about anything. If I had any questions after we completed, I could call them back. I was happy. I got cheaper quotes but they didn't include everything like insurance. With Sherpa, there was no extra. The driver picked up the vehicle on time but I couldn’t have it delivered when he arrived because I wasn't there yet. So, he had to wait an extra day. So, it would have only been four days. The driver kept me updated the whole entire time everything that was going on and what time he was gonna be here. He called me when he was an hour out and we made arrangements on where to pick it up. So, I knew exactly what was going on.

From the initial phone call with a Sherpa agent I knew this was the company I was going to use to deliver my M2 Competition from Washington state to Ohio. They answered all my questions and provided high level of communication throughout the entire process. Sherpa's pricing was good. When you're shipping a car, sometimes you would get bid and somebody will bid lower. But then they might undercut themselves and take forever for them to get a driver. I've never had that problem with Sherpa. I ship a ton of cars with them too. As far as their customer service, it's pretty good. Because of the pure amount of vehicles that I ship, it would be nice to have an easier way for me to do it. But it's fine. Make sure that you're going with a company that's reputable. There are a lot of people online that are in the space, so I like to stay with the larger companies. I recommend Sherpa all the time. I own a business where I'm a car buying service, so 40% of the time I have a shipment, I use Sherpa. Every time I need to ship the car, I at least give them the opportunity to win.

Sherpa’s quote was on par with what I was expecting and given all the things that are going on right now, with the pandemic and a shortage of drivers, everything was reasonable. A family member was able to oversee the loading of the car and the trucking company got it into the enclosed trailer fine. I was present at the delivery and I got to be part of the operation where they unloaded the car and did a once around check like they did at pickup to note the present condition of the car and that there were no changes during the transit, so that went smoothly. They were very professional.
Sherpa did an excellent job. They were very careful and courteous. From a customer service perspective, they were very available to discuss any questions that I had before or during the operation so I was pleased. The quality of service and the good level of contact with me throughout the process was a rewarding experience, especially with something that's extremely valuable to me, both sentimentally and monetarily, this vehicle.
