I set up the transport but then I found out that I couldn't get the car running. I contacted Sherpa and they were able to reschedule for a week later. The driver met my mother at the house for the pickup and then delivered the car here in Illinois on the same day. Also, I had a car cover on and I was worried about my mom being able to get it off but the driver was able to take it off for her. She didn't have to do anything.

My Ford truck broke down in Texas last month. I decided to ship it rather than fly back to Texas and drive it home to Northern California after it was repaired. After making dozens of calls to many shippers I found on the internet I was angry and annoyed at the utter disparity in prices and fuzzy pick-up dates. I nearly decided to fly out and drive it home out of frustration. I called Sherpa based on good internet reviews. Sherpa’s representative (Jacob?) was an instant departure from the other brokers I spoke with. He gave me a firm price and had high confidence my truck would be picked up within 3 business days. His demeanor was highly professional and immediately convinced me I had finally found the right company to ship my truck.

They did a great job of picking up and quickly and safely transporting my Range Rover Sport. Only concern was told they would ring me day before delivery. Received a call from them @ 9 am while in a meeting and another an hour later saying would be at my house in a few minutes. Fortunately, was able to get home from work to take delivery. Would be 5 Stars if they had called so I could ensure my availability.

The truck transport was very good. I had previously signed with another company. They were absolute crap. I fired them and got ahold of Sherpa. Brittany was very helpful and got me a driver pickup with 3 days. My truck was delivered from Wa state to Vermont on time.

Sherpa came out with different company reviews saying that they were good. They delivered on time unlike a lot of companies where the vehicles weren't getting delivered on time. They weren't answering the phone and they weren't communicating with the people. They were inflating the price and that was what I was worried about. I was on a budget. Sherpa promised me that the price would not go over what they told me. If it did, they would take $350 of their own money and put it on it. Everything that they told me, they did. They were nice and genuine people.

Everything was fine from the driver to the delivery. We picked the car up and dropped it off. The driver called me and told me he was three hours out and that he was gonna pick it up. When the car arrived, it was in the same condition as it was when I put it on the truck.

Arranged car transport company to pick up my car in Florida and deliver to RI. Service was easy, professional and found trucking company to transport my car. The time frame was exactly as requested, they responded promptly to all my questions and concerns.

Sherpa was great from the communication of the person who booked everything, how he explained how car shipping works, and the shipment was incredibly fast. Everything was delivered right on time. They had guaranteed that it wouldn't be above a certain price and they kept their promise. The transport was from Chicago to San Diego. The driver got up there in less than three days and they were in good shape. The experience was 100% way better than I ever expected. If I use a car shipment service again, I would choose Sherpa.

I liked the pricing that Sherpa had. Customer service had the knowledge and they were able to tell me what to expect. I did an uncovered transport and the quote they gave me was also very reasonable and the price lock was good. My SUV came in time within the timeframe that they stated and it worked out well. The only thing was, I was moving and I told them that I had stuff in my car. I'm not sure if that was transferred to the driver because he seemed to not expect me to have anything in my car. Other than that, he brought my car to the front of the complex and I paid him the additional cash. It was a good experience.

Forgot the others like Montway with their bait and switch. Sherpa may present as costing more, but they will actually get the job done. Montway who quoted a price and when they never arrived one day before I was leaving town, I called them and they said, "Oh, you didn't have a guaranteed date or price." I was like what!!! Called Sherpa and they arrived the next day. Do it the right way the first time out, call Sherpa.

Transport was higher priced than others but the price was set and no extra charges. The transporters were really nice and delivered the truck to my son at his military base. The disappointment is that they said if I sent them the bill of lading they would issue a credit for being in the military. The credit never happened after requesting the credit.

We were notified by Sherpa with every step of the transport. My son is in the Navy & everything went according to plan. CATS which did the transport actually got to the destination in San Diego four days earlier than expected and the auto was in perfect condition as it was when it left. I would highly recommend Sherpa for your auto transfer needs!

Needed to have a large pickup truck transported from Arizona to South Carolina. The truck was picked up on the day we said it would be ready and it was delivered to the destination in the time frame given and in good order.

Friendly, courteous and quick transport of my Honda Civic. Price was competitive and reasonable. No hidden charges or extras. Offer of a free car wash at the destination was a nice bonus! I would use Sherpa again & recommend them.

I contacted Sherpa to arrange to have a car transported from San Diego to Philadelphia. I was very impressed by the information I was provided with, the follow through, the driver of the transport and overall communication- not to mention that as luck would have it, the car arrived a bit early.

Car was loaded Monday in Texas on a one-level carrier and delivered in Pennsylvania on Wednesday. Perfect condition except for bug smatters from being the first-on vehicle. Although their price was at the top of the quotes, the excellent service and no problems were worth it.

My 4runner was delivered within the allocated time, however, in trying to coordinate with the driver, who was very friendly and understanding, the expectations on delivery time which were being constantly updated were not managed well. First said would be delivered in the evening of the first day, then wi 10a next day, then at 1-2p, then at 4, then around 630. Had to keep my person tied up all day waiting on it to happen.

I was happy with the service, my car was picked up and delivered on time. The only thing is the driver could not drive a manual car so I had to get on the truck and bring the car down. The driver was pleasant. I have no other complaints.

Everything was fantastic with Sherpa and we're very happy. We stayed in communication over the phone and the driver called us. The way it was supposed to go was the way it went. The driver was there on time. He met and actually dropped the car off with my girlfriend. Then he drove the car to my house, a few miles out of the way and she gave him a ride back to his truck. Sherpa provided great customer service when setting up the shipping contract. They explained the process and emailed me the information. The only concern I had is that I didn't receive information from the driver regarding the delivery date and time. The driver was supposed to contact me 1 to 2 hours before arriving at my house. I just happened to be home and I looked out my window and the transport carrier truck was there in front of my house with my new car. The driver did not speak any English and that is probably why I did not receive a call from him. He should've had someone in the office contact me. I was glad I didn't miss the delivery.

Sherpa truck Car Transport took our car from Tucson Arizona to Norfolk Virginia. The car was delivered on time. No damage occurred to the car. It was open transporting. The driver came exactly to our house and delivered exactly to our home here in Virginia. We were extremely satisfied with the service and quality of transport.

The rep who set everything up was very informative and answered all my questions. I never transported a car that distance and it’s a lot of money on my car. But Sherpa vetting the carriers gave me a little bit of an easy feeling about the selection. The driver was very cordial and pleasant to talk to. He called in transit. He was arriving later than he had anticipated so we had to reschedule the delivery earlier that next day. The communication was there. It wasn't lacking at all and he arrived with the car on time the next day. The quote was the bill, which was one of the reasons why I went with Sherpa. If it was gonna be anything higher, they were going to eat that. They could be more competitive with the pricing though. It was a bit on the high side. But you get what you pay for. My concerns were addressed.

Some parents of a Facebook parent group I'm part of have used Sherpa and gave them very high ratings so I decided to use them too. My son is in the military and we needed to ship his vehicle. I was absolutely pleased signing up. The process was almost hands-free from the moment that I scheduled the service. There was an individual who came and picked up my son's truck. I barely even had to speak with the guy. If I wanted to, I could track my son's truck from Colorado to South Carolina on my phone by GPS. The whole transaction took 48 hours tops. The price for the service wasn't bad. It was much cheaper than us having to get in the vehicle, drive it to our son then fly back. We were pleased with Sherpa on the whole.

Sherpa was knowledgeable. I assumed everything was fine, and it was. The driver brought the vehicle to the requested location. But he first put in the incorrect town into his GPS, so he went to the exact address in a different town. That was 30 minutes away. But he came to the correct one. The quote was very accurate. I also worked with the dispatcher to increase the transport amount so I could get someone to pick up my car ASAP because I needed it in a certain time window. And they worked with me to make sure that my vehicle was in the top spot for a transporter. I would recommend Sherpa to friends and family. That was the second time I used Sherpa, and I'm going to be use them another time in two weeks.

Scott did an excellent job transporting my Kia Soul from Arizona to Maine. He arrived exactly when he said he would. It was a dark rainy night and he had already made 3 deliveries, but was very pleasant to deal with and communicated well throughout the process. I was told the car would be picked up 4/1 to 4/5, and it was picked up on the 5th. The driver was excellent, called ahead. Made arrangements where and when he would be there. The car was picked up on time, and 2 days later he was dropping it off as planned. Sherpa did an excellent job finding the right company for the transportation.

The reps were very friendly when I signed up and were very accommodating with my schedule. I told them I needed to get the car picked up by a certain day, and I couldn’t get delivery for two more days and I wouldn’t be there to pick it up. So, they worked with someone who was willing to hold the car for a day before giving it to me. And even the driver was willing, too. I wanted it to be picked Thursday evening and then delivered either on Sunday or Monday. They initially said that they might not deliver on Sunday so they'll deliver on Monday, which was fine by me. The driver they contacted was very friendly and when he picked up, he said he didn’t live so far away, so he could probably come and give it to me on Sunday if it works out with Sherpa. He delivered it to me on Sunday.

I had to transport an automobile I bought and my coordinator with Sherpa was great. I didn't really understand how it worked between the actual transport company and the driver. But there was a guarantee about the type of drivers they tried to select. The driver chosen was from Chicago and was an excellent one. There was good communication between us. They picked up the car on Thursday and delivered on Tuesday. It was exactly as planned.

The experience with Sherpa was amazing. My daughter was moving to Georgia and we started setting up months in advance because we didn't want to get where nobody could do stuff for shippers. My nephew moved here in Colorado from Boston a month ago and he had used Sherpa for both of his cars so he suggested we call them. He told us about the window and everything worked like it was supposed to. The reps called on the third day and we had a timeframe because we couldn’t have it delivered before we got there because there was no one in Georgia. They said they would take care of it. It was nerve-racking because we didn't know about our timeline. My sister and her husband came over when they called to say they were coming to get her car. They went to my house and waited for him, and the driver loaded it up and they left. They called an hour or two before so that my sister had time to get over there.

During the transport, I knew where the car was most of the time. I had to meet them up in a Costco parking lot for the delivery. One of the challenges I had was that I wasn't sure which end I was going to be able to be available on because we were in the process of moving. Fortunately, I had some time at the condo we were in because my girlfriend was trying to sell it. So we left the car there. But then it took Sherpa a while to find a driver because like they went a little lowball at the beginning. Towards the end of their promised time, they started adding their own money in. It pretty much took right away as soon as they started adding a little more money into it.

From scheduling to delivery, it was straightforward. The driver was great and so was the representative at Sherpa who was helping me out. The driver was transparent and communicated all the way through. I'm in California and the vehicle I purchased and was transporting was all the way out in Maine, which was in the opposite side of the country. Taking a week from Maine to California was good timing. He was quick about it. So, I’m happy with the amount of time that it took. If I had to transfer another vehicle, I'd definitely go with Sherpa again.

I had a fantastic experience with Sherpa from the time the guy picked up the car. From Colorado, he got it to California within 12 hours. He was nice and professional, and he took extreme good care of the car. It’s a ‘99 Corvette convertible so he was very careful and it got there perfectly. During the transport, I knew when he was coming and when he got here. He told me what he was doing and he put the car in the front of the truck, and said he was going to pick something else up in Pagosa Springs. Then, he was going to take off and drive out there, and told me when it would be there.

Having my car shipped from FL to IL using Sherpa Auto Transport was a totally satisfying experience. Personnel at Sherpa were pleasant to deal with and made sure to fully explain the process, and kept me informed. Cost was reasonable given the current price of diesel fuel, and their quote was comparable with others. While exact pick-up and delivery dates cannot be guaranteed, in my case my car was both picked-up and delivered on the desired dates. Driver of the transport truck was professional and the car was delivered in the same condition as when loaded (i.e. no damage).

The driver was on time picking up my car and delivering it to me, and the car was in the same shape it was when it left. My only complaint is that I got billed for a couple of tolls going over the Bay Bridge out in San Francisco, because my car has the license plate registered, so it reads the plate when it goes through the toll. Overall, Sherpa was great, and I would recommend them.

Our car transport from Arizona to Iowa was very smooth from the initial contact with Sherpa to the final delivery in Iowa. All contacts were completed in the time frame specified. The transport driver’s vehicle broke down on his way to us, but kept in contact with us, and was able to transport the vehicle when his truck was repaired. The vehicle arrived in the same condition as it left us. We were very happy with this experience and will use them again.

After calling several transportation companies which made me feel uncomfortable I check the Better Business Bureau and saw Sherpa listed. Sherpa's customer service team is one of the best in of any industry not just vehicle transport. All three customer service representatives I spoke with from my initial inquiry to follow up were all incredible which won me over. The contractor got my mother's vehicle from Stamford, CT to Port St. Lucie, FL in two days. He loaded and departed between 10pm-11pm Tuesday night and delivered my mom's vehicle between 7pm-7:15pm Thursday night. Best Service Ever!!! I have been telling co-workers, friends, relatives and church folks about Sherpa!!!!

Sherpa Auto Transport made things really easy. They were great all throughout. They were very clear about pricing, they asked good questions and were responsive to my questions when I called or emailed. They said they would pick the car up on a certain date and drop it off also on a certain date, and they both did. So, it was smooth. They checked in on dates for pickup and delivery. Their service was lower than other costs that I received from other companies.

The person I talked to was very understanding of the situation and understood that I needed some flexibility in cost. They sold it. The delivery crew gave me a call, told me it would be a couple of days when they were close. They then called and said, "You can come pick up your car tomorrow." We met at a place that was convenient for getting the car off the big trailer. And it worked out fine.

Sherpa had good pricing, but also a good reputation, which was important. My boss lives in San Francisco, and he had a vintage Porsche convertible that shipped from their Austin home here in time for their wedding. And they couldn't get it before a certain date because their party stage wouldn't be available, but they had to have it before the wedding. There were all kinds of complicated things, and Sherpa did a great job. The quote came in, the cost was exactly what the quote was for. They also gave us a free carwash at the end, which was nice. They were super friendly. Also, the guy who picked up the car was right on time and met the person that we had meeting him there. He did a good job of checking over the car and making note of any scratches. I highly recommend Sherpa. I've recommended them to three other people already.

I could not be happier! I had a situation and needed a car transport asap and Sherpa came thru! Not only did they find me a driver the same day but the driver was also amazing, he went above and beyond and even walked into our gated community to retrieve my car! The booking process was easy. The pricing was fair. Also, communication was good. The transport that Sherpa hired was good and on time. It was smooth.

Service was everything I hoped for. The shipper they found was $100 more than they anticipated, but they kicked in their pricing guarantee and took $100 less from my credit card, and I just paid the shipper $100 more when he got here. So it all worked out.

The driver picked up the car and dropped it off. They set expectations upfront. The driver arrived on time. We had to change the location from my house to my son's office. That worked out well. I was still in transit, so my son met it there. I told my son, I said, “Inspect it very carefully ‘cause it's an open truck and things can happen to it.” The car was very dirty, but it arrived in good shape. We negotiated a discount. And they gave me credit for a carwash. So, overall, it went well. They're good. But the whole industry sounds shady. To my regret, I put in this website asking for quotes. And to this day, I'm still getting emails and calls, asking about they wanna pick up my car. It never ends.

Our car arrived at its destination in a reasonable amount of time. The driver was very accommodating for the drop off location, since our home is not accessible to the transport vehicle. All went well.

After I had sought quotes from seven or eight transporters, a well-mannered and helpful individual from Sherpa called me and explained details of how this industry (car-shipping) works, while respecting both my intelligence and my lack of experience. They also offered a reduced price from their original quote. The signup process was easy with DocuSign, and follow-up was helpful and appropriate. We had issues coordinating on the pickup end due to OUR limited availability, and the subcontractor worked well with us to mitigate these. My vehicle arrived earlier than expected in the same condition it was shipped in, and the driver delivering it also worked well with us. Highly recommend.

I'm fine with Sherpa, and I waited for them to find the carrier that would bring my vehicle. Once they did that, it was very smooth. The company came, and one of them said, "I got the vehicle." Asked us where we wanted it. And they unhitched it fine and put it where we asked them to.

All people that helped me were very professional and answered all my questions quickly and the driver they sent waS very courteous and delivered my vehicle as they stated. The company kept me informed of all that they were going to do. Very satisfied.

We had our car transported from Jackson, WI to Henderson NV. Everything went as promised. They gave us a pick-up window, and delivery window, and hit both of them. They promised a rebate, and gave that to us within a day of requesting it. The car showed up in the same condition as it left (a little dirtier :) ).

The rep was very informative and helpful. He was quick to answer any questions that I had. He was fast to call me back if there were any concerns on my part. I needed the transport to be pushed back by a couple of days because my son was flying back and coming back out there. So they adjusted to my schedule, where it showed up two days later than they were going to anticipate. I would use them again in a heartbeat. I'm moving from Illinois to Florida so I need three vehicles transported, and Sherpa would be the first place that I would call.

They were super efficient. They tried to make sure it was clear that they were trying to get the best charge for my specific transport and get the best price for me. The quote was very transparent. The security deposit and how it was handled was great because you still get some of that back. They were also good with following up. When I called the first time, I wasn't exactly sure. But they called back and they were very efficient in their breakdown of the process. They also sent over immediate documents, any type of directions that I may need to make sure that the process goes smoothly, and that everything is happening as they set me up with who would be shipping my car. The driver told me that he would let me know once he was six hours away to give me that timeframe. I called one day just because I was curious on when exactly they would get here and he answered the phone and was very polite. So everything worked out smoothly from there.

I couldn’t be happier with the service. Especially during the pandemic, as we all know customer service has dropped off since the pandemic began 2 1/2 years ago. Elise patiently discussed the options and helped us coordinated. We were not pleased they could not meet our preferred pickup date, but we settle on leaving the car/keys with a friend and Sherpa picked up the car from there. We also were concerned about the delay in finding a driver but once a driver was identified, he was communicative and kept us updated on the progress. The delivery went well.

Sherpa seemed to be more organized than some of the other transport companies. They were also less expensive. The driver was excellent too. I was very impressed. He, on one end, had to coordinate with my brother. My brother thought he did a bang-up job and was very friendly. The vehicle got there on time, too.

Sherpa has the best price and best reviews on customer service. They are the only ones that had a locked-in price. Everyone else, they've got to auction off the vehicle and that didn't really sit right with me. However, I got an email saying, "The vehicle has made it to your final destination." But when I called the people it was getting dropped off with, the vehicle wasn't there yet. The driver had made it to our final destination, but they hadn't dropped the vehicle off. There was a little bit of miscommunication.

They were able to coordinate the pickup easily. The drop-off was a little weird. The drop-off location we chose was a hotel that had a huge parking lot, and the drivers still insisted that we drive to Marshalls a mile away. But we chose the drop-off location to be at the intersection of two major highways for accessibility. He eventually came over, it was just an uphill battle there. But overall, totally fine. Price, not so competitive. But the service was good.

When I called Sherpa, I could understand the person. I'm an old man and you have to speak 6:30 news English in order for me to understand you. Sherpa was helpful. They seemed honest in terms of what they could do and what they couldn't do, whereas some of the other places seemed to say, “Oh, yes. We can do that,” no matter what I said. So Sherpa's promises and expectations as to how the transport would go were realistic.

The Sherpa rep told me everything that I needed to know, how the process would have gone. If I needed any more questions, just call him. Every time I messaged someone, they would reply within five minutes. They messaged me throughout the service, letting me know what time it will be, like an estimated day, if there was a delay. The Sherpa folks were great to work with. My non-five star had more to do with the driver. It wasn't door to door at either end. I can understand for the pick-up location but there was no reason it couldn't have been delivered directly. On the day of delivery the driver called and created a lot of drama that wasn't necessary, but it all worked out in the end. The meet-up appointment was scheduled for 10 between the driver and my son and at 9 the driver started calling to say he wasn't going to wait around and was going to go to the next drop. As it turns out the driver was still an hour away and the 10 meeting was still as scheduled. Like I said it all worked out just fine. All other interactions with Sherpa were excellent.

Price was in line with other quotes, but unlike other companies, they don't change the price on you after you've already paid a deposit. Sherpa is fantastic. If you want to transport your vehicle from one state to another they are awesome to work with. They may be a little higher than most but they are well worth it. Their drivers are very polite and courteous and for that I was more than willing to work with them as much as they were willing to work with me.
