Sherpa was one of the cheapest ones. And I love the free carwash. I got it put in my receipt to get my car washed up for that. They called me in 24 hours. And the email was very in-depth on what needed to be done. It took seven days for the car to get here once it was picked up. The transport truck driver called me 30 minutes prior to the delivery. Told me to meet me, which was two minutes from the house. He unloaded the car. He and I did an inspection. Everything matched up and we went on our separate ways. I paid in cash. I would use Sherpa again in a heartbeat.

It was really easy setting up the transport. We had to keep changing the dates of the time window they were going to pick it up because we were selling a house and things kept changing but Sherpa was so good and responsive about it even as it was getting closer. I really appreciated that. We had to leave the vehicle with a friend and they were really great about letting someone else do it. They took all kinds of pictures and my friend sent us the document. That went really well. Then when they dropped it off, the guy was super nice and very professional. The car was secured to the flatbed well and it was in perfect condition. I would use Sherpa again and I've recommended them to someone else that was moving as well.

This is the 3rd time I have used them. Pricing is competitive to the other companies out there. I was on a time frame to get my last car delivered. They worked with me to get the car delivered on time. They are very upfront and honest

The process is pretty easy because they don't leave a whole lot of room for questions. Everything is very well laid out in the emails and such. The transport was from California to Indiana and it took three days. They picked it up Tuesday morning and they dropped it up Thursday. It was fast.

I'm so glad I booked with Sherpa. Everyone I spoke with was awesome, friendly, and answered all my questions. Our driver was AMAZING. JC's Premier Logistics did the actual hauling of my vehicle. It was picked up on time, delivered quicker than I thought possible, and in perfect condition. I'm so thankful!

I contacted several auto transportation companies prior to relocating from Glen Burnie MD to Sarasota. The Sherpa Auto Transport representative was great to work with and very helpful. There was no high pressure tactic or erroneous promises. The transportation company used (JL Transportation) was great; the driver (John) was awesome. After receiving a window when the driver would be at my home, the driver (John) called to confirm. He showed up when promised and was extremely careful loading the car (taking several photos to document its condition). John arrived in Sarasota even earlier than thought but accommodated me to have someone meet him at the drop-off point. The car arrived in perfect shape. I have used auto transport companies 4 times now and will only use Sherpa going forward.

Sherpa did a great job, communicating well all along the way. The first carrier was scheduled on the day we requested but failed to show up or call that they were delayed. Sherpa found Reedy Creek Transport within 6 hours. RCT was also thorough, courteous and promptly on time for both pickup and drop off. Great experience.

The extra weight cost for items in trunk was not disclosed contract I received from Sherpa. Other than that, the service and agents were very professional and friendly. The carrier North Point Transportation was excellent. Titus the owner did a great and timely delivery. Frank **.

Great experience with our first transport service. Sherpa was helpful in guiding me thru the service process. The transport kept in contact and the vehicles were picked up and delivered without issue. The price was higher than a few others but they delivered.

My experience with them was great from beginning to end. The rep sold me. He was very professional and accommodating. I was very impressed with him. The transporter was great. The driver had broken English and a heavy accent but we got through it. But I got a $50 rebate and I'm glad I read a little further 'cause I didn't realize that I had to send in the bill of lading and the receipt to get it within a certain number of days. The rules of engagement could have been a little clearer. But it all worked out and I got the 50 bucks.

Pickup and delivery were prompt. Driver was careful with my vehicle, courteous and professional, and I found the cost to be reasonable given current fuel prices. I would recommend Sherpa and will use them again if needed in the future.

Had car shipped Ma-Fl. Transport was done in timeframe given. I emailed questions twice and got a timely answer. Would use this company again, had no problems. So much easier than attempting driving the car myself. Thank you, Sherpa.

My 2017 HONDA FIT was shipped from Maryland to Colorado. Car left on 06-August-2022 and arrived in Colorado on 08-August-2022. Kassius ** (driver) of Prime Auto Transport LLC (contracted company) was AMAZING. He communicated all updates and concerns via text messages, screen shots, and photos. Very pleasant to work with. I have transported the same car five years ago using a different company with hardly any communication. I will use Sherpa again without hesitation. The staff at the Sherpa Headquarters was also very professional and prompt with their communication.

When the right driver finally got the car it was a very good experience. I was quoted $950 and paid the driver $950, but had already paid by CC when reserving the transport another $250 so I am not sure where that went.

The gentleman from Sherpa who assisted me was very informative, explaining the whole process. He told me what to be aware of and of how other companies can take advantage if you don't know what you're looking for. He didn't say that he was the right choice. He said it was my choice to select the company I wanted to use for my auto transport. So, I felt confident that he provided me with the right information. I spoke to others as well and they were much higher. So, I went with the one that was best for my budget. Sherpa was very straightforward and even gave me the opportunity to select who I wanted to choose. They weren't going to be the best choice but I went with them because they were truthful and honest about the process.

Sherpa seems to be one of the huge companies in the industry. They have this program called Clean Vehicle Program where they offer you 20 bucks to clean your car once it arrives. I really liked that so I chose them. The rep that helped me was pretty efficient and I didn't run into any problems setting up everything. There were some unexpected stuff that happened. Sherpa assigned me to a driver who had a mechanical failure on his way to my place. They had to cancel my order and they informed me that they couldn't pick up my car when I left. They ended up picking up my car three days after I left my old place. That would have caused a problem if I didn't have friends staying at the old place.

Vehicle was delivered quickly and without damage. Good communication and didn’t waste my time. I’ll be using them again if I need a vehicle transported. They made purchasing a new vehicle 14 hours away a simple task to get home.

It worked out very well with Sherpa. The communication between myself and Sherpa and with the company that did the pickup and delivery was very good. The driver showed up exactly on time. The car arrived exactly when it was promised without any issues or damage. I was very happy. I was also satisfied that the pricing was fair and I liked the fact that there was a guarantee.

I started getting literally dozens of calls/emails/emails after I put out a need for a shipper...I guess it's a cut throat business!! Anyways, I was getting prices from $1300 to $2300 from San Francisco to Miami and it was pretty confusing so I decided to read the reviews and went with Sherpa since it was 5 star rated and had good reviews. Price was $1650, no fees upfront other than $50 AFTER the shipper was confirmed. Car took a few days longer to arrive but no big deal...They held the price, no surprises and no changes. Car was dirty as hell from cross country on open truck but that was expected...No damages. I would hire them again.

Everything was great even though it took longer to find a carrier. When you did, they picked up quickly. My only feedback would be difficulty getting someone on the phone after I signed the quote. Before I signed the quote, it was easy to get someone on the phone.

We had the car dropped off with some grandparents because we weren’t there yet, and that worked pretty smoothly. But I didn't get to take advantage of the free carwash afterward because of the delay and actually picking up the car from my grandparents.

The communication from Sherpa and the trucker (DIL trucking) was awesome. I was very worried about shipping my vehicle with all the horror stories, but this was painless! Compared to the other quotes I got from some budget companies, and Sherpa was about 20% more expensive but was totally worth it. Vehicle picked up on the day they claimed and was shipped 1000 miles in 36 hours to my door. Will do all business with Sherpa in the future!

The driver was amazing. I would definitely use him again. Everything was great. It was a very quick turnaround time, and they were able to get my car transported within a week. So they did a really good job.

I had to transport my S-class Mercedes from California to Michigan before medical school started. This company was very consistent with their policies, communication and quality of service. Any time I had any concerns or questions, Sherpa Customer Service replied to me immediately and worked with me to make sure my transport went smoothly. They delivered my car in perfect condition within 5 days of pickup. Of course I needed a car wash after since it was an open delivery but my car was as I have it to them. I used to live in Arizona where my grandfather was and we owned a 1930 Model A. I moved to Michigan and when my grandfather passed away last year, it was time to bring the car home. I used Sherpa and the experience went fairly well. The driver was very helpful to my sister in getting it loaded and was helpful too in getting it unloaded. The car was an antique vehicle and it had a dead battery, but we made it work. The driver had to take a car off the trailer to get to my car and he took his shoes off and left them in the trailer to drive this other car. He was very meticulous.

One of my best friends bought a Camaro from me and I looked up which transport was best recommended for classic cars. Sherpa was at the top of the list. Communication with them was through emails and phone calls with the scheduler through the company. The rep was great and answered all my questions. Once the driver got selected, I was directed to him through phone and text messaging. I got a great driver. I was given a couple of different options for a closed carrier or enclosed carrier and then guaranteed the price that they quoted me. The experience was pretty good.

I liked the price guarantee of Sherpa, the representatives that I spoke with, and the ratings. They had a good military rating. Customer service was great and the delivery was perfect. The only thing was the driver was supposed to give us a call an hour before he showed up. He just showed up at the door. Thankfully, my husband had driven up into the driveway and it went great. I was impressed with Sherpa and I will use them again next year if my son deploys. He’s in the Air Force.

In Less than 24 hours I was contacted and everything was scheduled. They showed up on time and picked up the Jeep in a covered trailer. The vehicle was delivered in Tempe, AZ in 48 hours in the same condition that it was received. The two man crew was very courteous and pleasant to work with. They also updated me along the way and informed me about 2 hours before they get to the destination, so I was ready. I highly recommend Sherpa. This was the first time I had done this and I was very worried about all things that could go wrong. Prior to commitment, a representative explain the whole process and answered my questions on the phone and everything worked as he had outlined.

This was one of the easier parts of our cross-country move. Sherpa took care of setting up everything. Our driver was pleasant and handled the car well. He was also more efficient than expected and got the car to us earlier than anticipated. I appreciate Sherpa’s rebate and clean car guarantee programs as well. Setting up the transport was fast and easy. The rep had excellent customer service and explained everything pretty well, and I had email follow-ups letting me know the status, how far, and how things were coming along. I was kept in the loop. They called me 24 hours prior to delivery as well, then they followed up an hour and a half prior and they brought the car directly to the home and brought it straight into the driveway. The car appeared the same way it was dropped off, then I also got a follow-up email saying if I were to get the car washed, they would reimburse me for it after the vehicle was dropped off. Overall, I would recommend Sherpa.

I had a great experience with Sherpa. I called up four companies in total, and they were right in the middle of the four quotes. The delivery was outstanding as well. I called the guy on a Monday, and he had the car by Monday afternoon. He called me on Wednesday and said he could be there that night or the first thing in the morning on Thursday. That was pretty good for at least a two-day trip. Couldn’t be any better than that.

Needed to have my son’s car shipped from Sarasota Fl to Woodstock, Il. Called and spoke to Rosie on Wednesday afternoon and she said the driver would be contacting me as he did and picked up the car on Friday evening and delivered it to my son in Woodstock on Monday at 1 P.M. In excellent condition. Couldn’t be happier with the service we received.

I have to give the company a five star. There were a few bumps but, I put in the request, got a call immediately and they actually came the next day. The initial transporter broke down and I did wait all day for a call thinking it would be there as I spoke with the main office but it was over the weekend and found out about the breakdown. I still received my vehicle in perfect condition, all terms agreed-upon and paid as stated. No hidden fees and extremely happy with the service and expedition process!

It was all very good. I would recommend Sherpa. I read about them two years ago when I moved, so I just went ahead with it. The price was better than a few others. I can also mail in a receipt and get $100 back, but I don't know where to get my receipt.

I purchased a vehicle from out of Washington, DC and I needed to have it transported into another state. Sherpa's service was as they said it was going to be, so I didn't have any complaints. Whenever I called to ask questions about pickup times or delivery times, they were on cue with that. The quote they gave me was also better than a couple of other ones I got over the internet. The whole transport took about three weeks and when the driver brought the vehicle, I met him at a certain place. We walked around the vehicle, looked at it, and he explained what the process was. After we walked around the vehicle and didn't see any damages, I signed off on the vehicle. The driver was very pleasant.

Sherpa Auto agents were very responsive and was able to pick up the SUV that was stranded in AL state. They provided regular updates until it was picked up a career. They delivered the vehicle in good shape and I will do the business again with them.

The young man I initially talked with, Dylan **, was very personable and helpful! He listened to my request and parameters, and have me a good deal! He also sent me an e-mail to ensure I could contact him specifically if necessary! I later talked with another young man (I apologize for not knowing his name) who was able to clarify some stuff I’d been told by an, apparently, rival company which was totally erroneous, and thus relieved my anxiety! My car was picked up from a pre-arranged location and arrived really EARLIER than initially expected and didn’t cost anything more than the quote I was first given; in the same condition as I’d left it! Online form was easy to fill out. Received a call within 20 min from a representative who clearly explained the service, how it worked, and provided a quote to me of $1800. I was just inquiring at the time so did not book as I did not need to send the car until mid July. Called them back in early July and they stated that the quote was now $1575. Went ahead and gave a credit card to get the process moving. Received an email confirmation and a few days later got an email stating that a carrier had been secured and my card would be charged the $300 deposit. All good.

Overall, signing up was good. The only thing they didn't tell me right until the end was that I had to pay cash for a big chunk of the transport. I was expecting to pay with a credit card. So, I had to go to the ATM and I was in a hurry. Also, the service was a bit expensive especially since they gave me a quote and that changed in four days. It was $200 up. Other than that, the experience went well.

It only took two days for my vehicle to be assigned a driver and the vehicle arrived at my door two days after being picked up. I could not ask for a better experience. The delivery went smoothly. Initially, I checked three credible companies, and when I sent in an inquiry for a quote, Scott, the sales guy from Sherpa, called me, as opposed to just an automated email. “Oh, can I help you?” I appreciated the personal touch, so I thought, “Let me go with him.” Because the prices were all pretty much the same and they all had good reviews.

Sherpa told me they'll be able to transport my vehicle within seven days once it is confirmed. If the transport is after seven days, they'll refund whatever I paid. The person who spoke with me was really good and the entire process was really smooth. The vehicle was in good shape. The price was good too. My experience was completely fabulous with them.

Sherpa responded to our inquiries quickly, and I was impressed by their willingness to help. The transport also went faster than we anticipated, which was good. There was some miscommunication on the exact address they were to pick up the car at, and the driver had to search around a bit to get to the right address, but that was our only issue. We were on the delivery end, and they were in contact with us continuously throughout the delivery process. It was great. They came directly to us, and the car arrived as we expected. The delivery person was very nice and accommodating, and we couldn't ask for anything better from our delivery person. I'd certainly use Sherpa again and recommend them.

The rep was very good, professional, polite, and timely, and everything was handled as I expected it. We had to put the two cars on hold till we knew a shipping date, then once we confirmed the shipping date, everything fell into place. Just before the cars arrived, Sherpa let us know. It was 20 hours, so it wasn’t even two full days. The cars were in the same condition as when they were picked up, and the driver was very professional as well. He was here earlier than we expected, which was perfect. Overall, Sherpa is great, and I'd recommend them.

I would highly recommend and would use Sherpa again. I called several companies to get quotes when lining up my transport. When I called Sherpa, I could tell their service and communication was different and better than anyone else I called. Their rates we very competitive and better than the others. Excellent experience. Timely, organized and responsive. We shopped around for other transports and were constantly emailed, called and texted by other services. Sherpa was not at all aggressive, but instead helpful and efficient. The car was picked up when we were told it would be and there was no delay in delivery. It took a bit of time like the reps told me but communication and updates were still there. I sent emails for updates and they replied usually within one to two days, which was very nice. They always kept me in the loop, and everything came nicely. When the pickup truck came in, the guy loaded the roll-up and made the paperwork. He let us take a video of the car prior as proof of pickup, then delivery, he made us check a bit, no rush. We signed, and that was it. If a friend needs a safe and good company to move their car, then I would definitely recommend Sherpa.

The Sherpa rep answered everything and told me the prices. I wanted a faster shipping time, so she told me how I could get the two to three-day shipping and how they paid extra. If they couldn't get a driver, they paid up to 300. She was very knowledgeable and informative. It took the small transport five days to get from Kansas to the drop-off, which was The Villages, Florida. The driver got as close as he could to my home area, and it took 15 minutes for the walk around. The car was in great shape.

My experience with Sherpa was excellent, from the initial contact and set-up with staffer Gavin, to the pick-up by Jana Transport in Pennsylvania through to delivery in Los Angeles. When I had questions, the staff at Sherpa was accessible either via phone or email. After being let down by ** a day and a half before moving my family across the country for a military move, I needed to book an appointment quickly to ship my 1970 Corvette on short notice. And while finding a driver short notice to come to remote fort Irwin, Sherpa contacted me every day to assure they were working to find one. Ultimately, I was given an enclosed carrier that only included my car and one other, despite only paying for open, I assume because that was what was available. No additional cost passed on to me. The driver was very courteous and gave no trouble despite neighbors having to orchestrate the hand-off. Car came exactly as it was sent. Great experience and would definitely recommend, especially to avoid the normal bidding process.

When I first sent out email requests for quotes to several different companies, Sherpa was the only one to give me a call. The gentleman I spoke to answered a bunch of questions about the industry as a whole, how shipping cars works, and Sherpa and the third parties, and he told me that they made the arrangements with the actual drivers. At the time I made my initial request though, I was unsure when my daughter was moving out to California, so all the quotes had expired. However, the gentleman from Sherpa gave me a lot of useful and helpful information, so when the time came and I knew I had to ship the car out, I just went with them.

Everything was good, and I like it. I’d use Sherpa once more if I have to. One thing though, they told me I’d be given some rebate, but it looks like the rebate process is handled by a separate department and one has to mail stuff in. That's an old way of doing things. Scanning and sending documents should be more than enough, but it is what it is and I'm not worried.

I was very happy with Sherpa. They transported my car from Winter Haven, Florida to Six Lakes, Michigan, which is around 1,400 miles. The first time they set up the pick-up date, they had it set up within two days, but that date didn't work out. I had to call back and try to change the date and it wasn't any problem, which surprised me. They kept the price the same and everything worked out. It took five days to find another driver, but they got the car here on time and that was really great. I wanted it for the 4th of July weekend, and my car was here by 7:30 Saturday morning. So, it was even earlier than they said it was going to be. The guy dropped it off, I gave him the check, and he took off.

Sherpa was straightforward in their estimates or their bids. They were near the highest bid at first. But they did it at a price that the drivers would accept it. The driver was good. Meeting up with him was good. You've got to be a little flexible. But the car arrived in good shape and earlier than they said it probably would. Sherpa first gave a range of dates, which is standard in the industry. But when they said the car would be picked up, all of a sudden, I got a call, and it was a day earlier. They didn't give us a notice about that. All of a sudden, I got a call from the driver. So we had to sort of pivot.

No issues with Sherpa at all. Car was picked up and delivered in expected window and there was no damage to vehicle. Some communication issues with Umbrella Auto Transport who moved my vehicle. I wasn't told until one hour before pickup that I would have to drive 20 minutes to meet the truck driver as he couldn't get to me due to the size of the rig. It would have been really nice to have known this the night before when the driver was confirmed, as it was highly inconvenient for me to do this at that time. They did pay for an Uber home for me however. The other problem was the truck driver (who was very nice) didn't speak much English and had bad phone signal, had difficulty communicating this with me. I was able to contact their dispatcher via text to confirm however.

Shipped my vehicle from WI to Seattle. Communication was great, company that Sherpa partnered with to pick up my vehicle was extremely professional and communicative. This really helped calmed my anxiety around the shipment. When arrived in Seattle, I was updated the day before of a rough time, and then 30 minutes before arrival. If needed, I would utilize Sherpa again.

Sherpa did well. They didn't hound me. Once I let them know I wanted to use them, it was good. The transport was for a Jeep. My son was in the army in Fort Hood, Texas, and we brought it to Georgia. It was right at 1,000 miles. They said it would take three days for them to find a carrier, and then once the carrier picked it up, the next day, he was delivering it. He pretty much drove straight through for the delivery. He was really courteous. He kept me informed when he was going to be there. There were no scratches, dents, or dings that weren't already on the vehicle. I couldn't have asked for it to go any better.

Originally, we were told that Sherpa Auto Transport could only be paid through cashier's check, money order or cash, but no debit or credit. But later on, when we actually met with the individuals who were picking up our vehicle, they were like, "Yeah, we can take debit, if you want. That's not an issue." It's fair and standard as far as the pricing and terms. I initially called Sherpa Auto Transport to get a quote, which I got one no problem. But I was not ready to move my car at the time, so I had to call them back at a later time. And the person I spoke with had to requote me, which was $100 more than the original quote I was given. But he said that he wanted to try to honor it, so he told me about the $100 rebate, which would basically bring the price back down to the same original quote. But overall, the customer service was good, friendly, and fast. It was an easy process.

The driver answered any questions I had. I had to drop the car off somewhere because I understood why the truck didn't fit to the residential area where I was. It was the same thing for the drop off. The quote was the same as the actual price.

Sherpa did a great job coordinating the move of my classic car from Ohio to Georgia. They provided great service at a fair price with no issues. Communication was constant and I always knew what was going on with the move.

I liked how Sherpa Auto Transport had the price lock, and how they had things set up. So, I went with them for my transport. They made it easy. I thought that there was more to it. But the rep said, “No, that’s it.” They were amazing. They were good at communicating with me initially. The rep gave me periodic updates throughout their time there. So, they were good. They had to meet us somewhere, because I had some complications when we were flying in. So, they were helpful. Win Win, who was the people that Sherpa used, were good with effectively communicating with us as well. Just a timing of some of the things was a bit different. Initially, good timing that Sherpa was able to choose right. But Win Win was a bit of off. But it worked us well, because it still was the time that they told me, and I expected.

Sherpa did a great job communicating throughout the process. Just a little disappointed with trucking company and lack of communication. Delay in truck breaking down for pick up. Should have been 1st for drop off delivery, became last. Delays cost me extra days of rental vehicle.

I met the driver first here where they loaded the vehicles up because I didn’t leave the key for the trailer hitch. So, I needed to take that. We took the trailer hitch. Also, it will be easier for them to get another car in behind mine. He was a nice guy. And when he dropped it off, I met him again. He had somebody else with him. He brought the truck in, got the cars off the truck. We checked them out and made sure everything was still good. Everything was, so I signed the paperwork, and off they went as I gave them the cashier's check for the payment.

I had my car shipped from Mass. to Florida, and it was an all- around excellent experience with Sherpa. They gave great communication, and the shipper they gave me was top notch. No problems whatsoever. If I ever need another car shipped, I will call them first.

I liked everything about Sherpa Auto Transport. It's all about customer care. Also, their price was less. And whenever I call customer care, the response was excellent. I could reach them and they could answer all the questions, whatever I asked, very patiently. The first person I spoke to was Brittany, and she was very patient. Also, she was not sure whether I would go ahead with her service or not, but still she gave the information. Sometimes, people speak nicely only when they are sure that they will get the customer. But she was not even sure because I did not commit, and she did her job sincerely.

When I called Sherpa, there was a big difference in service and trust. They were very organized and professional. I liked the way that they explained how the service would work versus the other company that I worked with which sounded more like a hot push of a sale. Sherpa had somebody that they assigned to me and that fell through. They went out of their way to make sure I knew that and they found somebody else within a day. They got it all set up and everything worked perfectly. Sherpa let me know when they were picking up the car. The guy called me the night before to say he was going to be there. We scheduled the exact time together. He was very reachable and nice. Sherpa was great and I'd recommend them.

I requested a quote online and received it promptly, spoke with a professional (and surprisingly kind) agent who explained the entire process of securing a driver and what to expect, received a call on time that a driver had been assigned, and received timely texts, emails and phone calls every step of the way. The driver showed up when promised and the vehicle arrived safely on time as well. I was very intimidated by the prospect of shipping a truck 3000 miles and couldn’t be more pleased and appreciative. Would definitely recommend Sherpa to anyone.
