    We booked our car transport on 6/3 for a 6/22 pick up for a cross country move from AZ to NC. Today is 6/26 and Roadrunner Auto Transport hasn’t shown up. We have called the customer service number daily, we were left on hold through their automated answering service, and our call was never picked up by a live person. We left over 5 messages and have emailed 2 times all in the past 5 days with NO RESPONSES. We even sent a message through Facebook last night, NO RESPONSES. We are leaving tomorrow and still have no idea how we are going to move our car. We are stressed out, completely frustrated, and extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service Roadrunner Auto Transport is providing.

    Needed to have my 65 Corvette Fuelie and 50 Anniversary 2015 Mustang moved to our new home in the Texas Hill Country. RoadRunner was able to have an enclosed van pick up the cars early in the morning and delivered late the same afternoon. Having had cars shipped in the past, the driver is key to the process being easy or scary as heck. We won the lottery and our driver was the best. He cared for the cars like they were his own.

    I finalized the booking with this company on May 7, for June 20. It is June 21 (they had SIX WEEKS) to figure out how to get my car from point A to point B. I get the run-around any time I try to ask for an update. I am moving across the country, and need to both ensure my car is on the carrier, and receive it on the other side. This company was great in booking the car, and terrible on the follow through and execution. I would not use them again, given the amount of additional and unnecessary stress this process is creating.

    I am writing this review because I booked an auto transport exactly one month ago today for a pick up of 06/18 for a shipment from Miami to LA. I was told that I would be contacted when a driver was assigned. I've call on numerous occasions but still no driver. Because it's Friday and my car was to be shipped on Monday, I tried calling a few times today to cancel but only received the voicemail although they are open until 9pm. I would not recommend this company because, even a month out, they were not able to find a driver to ship my vehicle in a timely manner.

    They quoted us ** for our car to be shipped 5 hours. We paid over half the balance to them on our credit card. And said we only needed to pay 150 to the people who delivered the car. When the car was delivered they said Roadrunner said we would give them 200. We were asking why it was 200 and they said, "Here's our contract. It says y'all will give us 200." We showed them our email from them showing the balance of only needing to pay 150. We had to give the extra 50 or they would have taken our car for not paying. These people are crooks and will rip you off!!!

    Christina, We sincerely apologize for any confusion regarding payment. We have not charged you anything extra then the amount we quoted you. Your transport was quoted at $345 and that is exactly what you were charged. The only change made was $200 to the driver instead of $150 and $145 deposit on your card. We never raised any prices. We hope this clarifies any confusion.

    I am so angry, we are waiting for a return call for pickup that should have happened on May 31 and never did. My father passed away and left me his car. I am a single mother of a child with autism. I am in desperate need of this vehicle. We are already stressed with the passing of my dad. know we are stressed with the lack of professionalism and compassion. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ROADRUNNER TRANSPORTATION.

    This company is also known as Caribbean Car Transport, Puerto Rico Car Transport, and probably other names and have various numbers that lead to the same call center 904-322-7644, (954) 448-7447; 888-777-2123, etc. When I first searched for shipping a car overseas I did a quote online and a guy named Ralph ** called me back immediately. I thought wow! they have good customer service. After I won the bid at an auction in GA and I called for transport I was told that because the car has some damage is going to be $100 more than what I was originally quoted. It wasn't optimal but given the fact that I needed the car to be transported I agreed. This was a BIG MISTAKE!!! I can't write this in letters big enough.

    I paid $1495 which I was told by Ralph (which was all buddy buddy) that I would not be charged until the car is picked from the auction. On May 1, 2018 I did all the required paperwork with Giselle ** and everything went well this was on Tuesday. I checked my account and I noticed that they took my money the following day and told me the car would be picked up no later than Thursday afternoon which was the last day that the auction would hold my car without charging me storage fees. I was told that the tracking number does not work until your car gets to the port. According to the contract the car was supposed to be at the port by 5/9/18 and was supposed to be available for pick up on 5/22/18.

    The next Monday I called the auction to find out about the title and I see that I am being charged storage fees. I was like WTH is this? It must be some kind of mistake the auction checked and double checked and told me that no one has picked up the car and they have to charge $20 per day until the car is picked up. So I start calling Ralph (954) 448-7447 ext ** and Giselle ** 904.322.7644 ext **. I left both of them numerous messages and neither one answered. I also sent them various emails and got no response.

    I called the Caribbean Car Shipping customer service number. At least the lady who answered Jocelyn was very nice and tried to help but she has limited access to info and it does not seem that she has much influence over what happens. I kept on calling them on a daily basis for a week and a half and each time I call I was on hold for at least 30 minutes. I am not exaggerating another time I was on hold for one hour and 5 minutes.. So to make a story short. I had to pay almost two hundred dollars extra for the car due to storage fees.

    So after they picked up the car it took them about another week to get it to the port. As of now the car is still seating at the port supposedly in FL. I call and call and every time I get told that the car will be shipped "sometime this week but I never get a date" because everything with these people is always an estimate. Each time I call is a different excuse as to why the car has not been shipped. There is not enough staff at the port or something stupid or other. So it's been almost a month since I've been dealing with this ordeal.

    My recommendation is STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! THEY ARE NOT SHIPPING COMPANIES THEY ARE BROKERS. It would not be so bad if they were responsible and actually knew what they were doing. Save yourself the headache and find someone else. I would give this company negative stars if I could. The only reason I put one star is because I am required to do so in order to be able to write the review.

    All the other 1 star reviews on RoadRunner Auto Transport are 100% correct. This company will call you several times a day when you get a quote to try and get you to book and give them a credit card. Once you book all communication is cut off. My pick up date came and went, they never showed up, never called and it is not possible to get them on the phone or a response from emails. If you call, they automatically place you on hold for 5 to 10 minutes then say they can't take your call and to leave a message. The messages are never returned.

    I even selected the option to make a new booking which they answer after 2 rings. When I explained I already had a booking and needed information, they say "hold on a minute" and then they don't come back on the line and it goes to the "can't take your call, leave message" routine. They say to cancel and avoid being charged you MUST speak to a representative at (888) 574-6638, that number rings several times, answers and immediately disconnects. Over 50 emails and 40 calls went unanswered. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL NOT BE TRANSPORTING YOUR CAR.

    I have recently gotten on the computer for finding a reputable Moving Carrier from Florida and to Ohio, the companies bad mouth each other. I don't know who to go with. I have decided to go with Household Hauling in Hallandale, Fl. RoadRunner called me to ask if I made a decision. I told them who I chose and they were indirectly badmouthing Household Hauling, now I don't know who to believe. Could you help me as a single and senior citizen.

    It is the day that I was to have RoadRunner come pick up our 2 SUVs and we still don't have confirmation of them being picked up. Supervisor who would not allow me to talk to anyone above her said that she was "baffled" that no driver had picked up the route because it is an "easy one from California to North Carolina". The supervisor went on to tell me the process is they take an order, which she called an estimated day they would try to pick up our cars and then they throw it on some dashboard and drivers call in and bid for the deal. If no drivers call in, you are screwed. She offered it's not a big deal if I am not physically present when the cars get picked up. I could put the keys somewhere or have another person become the contact while we wait for what could be days, months, years for someone to pick up the order. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

    Over the past 10 days, I have constantly called, emailed and requested calls for status. The salesperson Brandon ** disappeared after the sale. I have sent numerous emails to him and called him saying, 'Hey can you help me," and nothing. They also quit doing things in writing about 1 week prior. The last email I got was 5 days before the move and they said the following: "Yes, we are still awaiting carrier confirmation on your booking. Since your ready date isn’t until 5/17 as we get closer to that date a call will be placed once a carrier confirms the pickup, we're hopeful for early next week." I am "baffled" at how this company does business and would strongly suggest you go elsewhere for service. It's not that there is an issue, it is how they are handling it. No options to really help me, no commitment whatsoever as to a date and they are "baffled"... So am I.

    Transport 2008 Toyota RAV4 from Reno, Nevada to Danbury, Connecticut. The car was loaded up on time and delivered to the destination.     When I call to customer care for booking a car delivery they were very polite and were keep on calling until l booked the delivery. Once it's booked they were gone. They won't respond, and if you try 10 time you may be lucky to reach them. Even after you caught them on call, they won't tell you how many days/weeks it will take to pick your car. I waited for one week and when I called them they said, "If you want you can cancel your booking." Staff were really irresponsible. Don't go for this Transport.

    I booked the service after talking to the customer service group after emailing a form. Very professional and very responsive and they called me back same day multiple times. I agreed to booking time and they said it was confirmed. The day before the car pick up I called the service and they said it was booked and they would call me the day before the pick up. It took me 3 times and waiting to get through to the carrier booking area. This is a different department than the quote department. It is now 7:43 pm. I have been calling all day and after 8 calls I was able to talk to someone that told me I was all set and they would call me 3 hours before pick up today with the last pick up being 9 pm. I used the email message service and I have been calling non stop since 6 pm. No return calls. I reached the sales department and they said they had nothing to do with the pick up service. I guess they sell you the dream and then no one cares.

    Finding the need to transport my car from CT to FL I called this company 3 weeks prior to anticipated pickup. I was assured my given date of pickup would be met. I was told they would call me 24-48 hours prior to pick up. Being anxious I called the Monday before the Friday pickup was due. I was told “they are working on it”. I began calling again on Thursday and was told they hadn’t found a carrier yet but they would and then call me. They repeated several times their drivers worked 9-9 pm and they would find someone. I continued calling until Friday morning when I was again told no drivers yet but be patient. Given a packed car and airline tickets for Saturday morning my inner feeling was now distrustful. I continued calling for updates and finally asked for a supervisor.

    I was put on hold and finally hung up and called back opting for the information persons and not the “information on booked pickups. I was then told drivers were scarce because of the past holidays and they frankly had no idea when my car could be picked up. Despite my booking 3 weeks ahead of pickup time they obviously had my date buried under their backlog. “You will just have to wait“ was the next statement from their representative. I then called another company, booked my car with assurances it would be picked up in the morning and called Roadrunners and cancelled. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Poor communication... No transparency and worse... Wants the business and can’t provide it.

    My car was supposed to get to me on Wednesday (it is now Saturday). It was already a day late, then There was a delay for it coming Thursday because of weather conditions, which is understandable but then the company failed to get it to me the following day. They then dropped my car off at another company (in no way related to the first company) and only gave me one phone number to call. This company then told me my car would be to me Saturday by noon. And it is now Saturday at 1pm and I have yet to hear from them, I have called both companies several times and there is no answer. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have failed to meet timeline after timeline and make good on multiple things they have told me. They have handled this situation with complete disregard for my vehicle and me, considering I do not have a vehicle until they show up with mine.

    RoadRunner Auto Transport is the worst of the worst. They were very aggressive in booking the transport of my car on a specific date. I was told by Shawn/Sean that RoadRunner was a service organization and that my car would be picked up on time and delivered on time. AFTER 9 DAYS, I NEVER had a driver to transport my car from San Diego to Baton Rouge.

    After they failed to meet the initial deadline, I gave them another week and a driver was never identified. I called and emailed them not less than 15 times AND NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE. I HAVE NEVER HAD A WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A "SERVICE" ORGANIZATION IN MY LIFE. After I finally spoke to a "manager" who admitted after 9 days there was never a driver assigned to the delivery of my car, there was not a "we're sorry" or "what can we do to address this problem?" There was no remorse whatsoever. It was just a day in the life of this company. Here is what happened to me:

    December 18, Monday. Place order with Shawn/Sean. He told me to hurry to order so that he could expedite pick up on Wednesday or Thursday. He encouraged me to sign up quickly. He also told me why I should use RoadRunner because of the service you provide. Again, I stressed that I wanted the vehicle picked up no later than Thursday. Shawn/Sean said that “would work”.
    December 19, Tuesday. Received Booking Confirmation. (8:27 a.m.) I continued to monitor their website for Carrier Assignment.
    December 19, Tuesday. Called and was told that you were waiting on a driver but it looked like Thursday was possible.

    December 20, Wednesday. Called and was told that they were waiting on a driver but it looked like Thursday was still possible.

    December 21, Thursday. Called and was told that they were waiting on a driver but it looked like Thursday was still possible. Instead of taking a risk and knowing that the shop that had my car would be closed on Friday, I rescheduled to December 27. The woman said that would be no problem and it would be picked up on Wednesday, December 27th. Received another booking confirmation with December 27th. I continued to monitor their site and saw that there was still no Carrier Assignment.

    December 26, Tuesday
    10:00 a.m. Spoke to a lady who said that there had not been an assignment but it would happen by the end of the day (Tuesday). Continued to monitor the site – no Carrier Assignment.
    4:00 p.m. Called – no answer – left message to return call which said that the next available representative would return the call. No call returned.

    5:48 p.m. Called – waited and was disconnected.

    5:51 p.m. Called – no answer – left message to return call which said that the next available representative would return the call. No call returned.
    6:03 p.m. Sent email on the info@RRAutoTransport.com email with information and asked for a call – no response.

    6:10 p.m. Sent email on Contact Us within website with information – no response.

    December 27, Wednesday

    9:45 a.m. Spoke to a Laura who said that there had not been an assignment but you were still trying to get a driver. I asked, "Will the car be picked up “yes or no” today?" She said that she couldn’t answer that. I asked if a manager would call me. She said that she would give the message to the manager. I told her that I would call back at noon. If the car isn’t going to be picked up today, I want to cancel and submit reports of these events. THE MANAGER NEVER CALLED ME BACK.

    10:15 Sent another email asking for someone to call me to see if the car was going to be picked up as scheduled (2nd request).
    12:50 Sent another email asking for someone to call me to see if the car was going to be picked up as scheduled (3rd request).
    1:30 Called, left a message.

    Our car was booked to be picked up by a carrier between Nov 16-24. We had driven to CA using our 2nd vehicle departing the 18th. We left the car with a neighbor. We kept calling the other carrier and they could never confirm the day of pick up. Finally Thursday November 30th I googled car carrier transport from MI to CA. Online I entered zip codes and details and within a minute had a price quote. I called the company and the man I spoke with said they might be able to pick the car up on Saturday the 2nd or certainly no later than Monday the 4th.

    After several bad experiences previously with the middlemen (the brokers), I tried one of the earlier direct-to driver services and it didn't work out very well. So, I went again with a highly rated broker-- Road Runner -- and hoped for the best. I was very disappointed. The "agents" or "brokers" all source from the same network and add no value to the process. In the era of Uber and Lyft, we are all spoiled by good, direct to consumer service, and this industry needs the same thing.

    Road Runner did not confirm a driver within the time specified, and finally got one when I threatened to drop them at 5pm that day. I can speculate that they just cut their margin to get a sale. They did not inform the driver of the pickup constraints (my car seller couldn't be home mid day due to a 2 hour commute to work), and I was not allowed to speak to the driver directly -- their "control" mechanism. Sure enough, he called at 11am saying he was one hour away. I had requested top load, and morning or late afternoon pickup with 24 hours notice. When he was finally able to get the car loaded, he claimed he had never been told this. Finally, the company (Road Runner), takes messages or you wait on hold forever and doesn’t return your call in a timely manner, and you never deal with the same person. Never again, Road Runner!!!

    I contracted with RoadRunner to transport a car from California, San Francisco area to Long Island NY and paid an additional $400.00 for an enclosed carrier. The car was picked up by an open carrier, two days later than the original pickup date and delivered via an open car trailer! The delivering company assured me the car traveled across country in an enclosed trailer! The car was delivered, from New Jersey, by a smaller open vehicle because the local roads wouldn't accommodate an eighteen wheeler! In the past 6 yrs I have had two eighteen wheelers deliver two vehicles to this same address.

    RoadRunner also gave me the name of a company to pay a certified check which I gave the driver as instructed by RoadRunner. I got a call the next day from the company that delivered the car telling me the name on the check wasn't theirs and to please make arrangements to pay them. RoadRunner is not a company you should choose for any of their "services".

    I wish I would have read the reviews on this site before I booked with this company. As noted in other reviews, this company is the worst! After receiving several calls and emails to book the order (Jack **)... Once you book you will never hear from them except for an occasional email stating that you will receive your shipment that will never arrive on the date promised. If you call customer service, expect to be on hold from 10 - 15 minutes (or they may never pick up). Once you do reach someone... They will have absolutely no information regarding your delivery. Just excuses of how the drivers can't talk while they drive. Last time I checked... there is something called Bluetooth that allows for hands free calls while you are driving. They claim that they can't provide #s of the drivers because it is illegal. Last time I shipped with a different company... the driver called and texted me throughout the delivery process. Wish I went with the other company.

    Road Runner is a broker that finds carriers... Hence why they have no information or communication with their drivers. They even offer a tracking page on their website that in the demo shows a nice map that allows you to see how your shipment is progressing. This does not exist. At this time... the website still says that my vehicle was delivered yesterday (which it was not). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I'm still waiting for delivery as I write this. I surely hope that there are no issues with the vehicle when it arrives. I couldn't imagine how this company would handle any claims.

    2 cars and a motorcycle. They do the sale and they disappear. Call dispatch... they cannot execute or call you back. They were 3 days late picking up the motorcycle and who not know where it is or who has it. The cars were moved under a fraudulent bill of lading. The salesman Rob does not return calls. 5 messages. Useless! Simply put this business is JUNK.

    This is one of a handful of times of when we decided to use Roadrunner on a shipment. We normally don't and now I have removed them from our vendor list and will never use them again. This shipment has been out 21 days and they could care less and frankly can’t even give me an answer. My customer just told me they are going to cancel the order and frankly I don't blame them because I can’t get them any answers. It’s bad for us because everything we make is custom. The horrible service is a very bad reflection on us. DON'T USE THESE GUYS UNLESS YOU ARE CRAZY AND LIKE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

    I scheduled a vehicle transportation over a month in advance and heard nothing for weeks. I called them about two weeks out and they said that they will contact a carrier a couple days in advance and this is normal. A week out I called again because I heard nothing and they claimed to be waiting on a carrier. Again the day before and even the day of I called and called and the same answer. I finally cancelled on the day it was to be shipped and hired a different company through uShip. Road Runner is 100% scam! Do not use this company at all! They will absolutely screw you over and your shipment will not happen.

    If you want an auto transported do yourself a favor and don't use RoadRunner. They promise you 3-4 delivery from Florida to New York charge your card in full and then proceed to give you one excuse after another why your car hasn't even been picked up after 13 days. Their customer service is pathetic and their employees talk to you like you’re a nuisance for even questioning their incompetence. Sorry I used them and you will be too.

    Do not hire these people. The entire shipping process has been a complete nightmare. The driver assigned to my order went missing for two days and then said he broke down but never contacted me to let me know so I waited all day at home and was only told this news after two days of calling and bugging "Gloria" to find out where my vehicle is. Then they extended the delivery date all the way until next Monday. I regret ever hiring this company. Not worth the money or hassle!

    We hired this service to transport our car from Long Island to Florida in December 2016. Our driver "Bobby" initially seemed responsive and reliable with phone contacts - I guess in an attempt to secure the job. However, once arrangements were made he picked our car up three days later than he promised; what was supposed to be a two-three day shipment, turned into a total of six days. In addition, since we had the Verizon HUM device on the car, we could see that after he picked up the car, it was basically parked in NJ for those extra days. We were frustrated and disappointed, but rolled with it. The real problem was that the car had a Very Large dent in the roof upon delivery (delivery occurred many hours later than promised on the final day). Bobby claimed not to have any idea about how that happened.

    After some negotiation, he insisted that we pay half of the cost of transport with the promise that he would reconcile the difference with us after we got estimates on the repair of the roof. In good faith, we got three estimates, and presented him with them. He agreed to pay the additional $174 it was going to cost for the repair. That was back in December. We have left him many messages (both voice and text), and although he twice promised to send us the money immediately, he has never delivered on his promise.

    The service was Terrible, he was dishonorable, and I would absolutely warn anybody thinking of using this company, to veer away from it. Bobby is based in New Jersey. We suggest you save yourself the aggravation, and use a different company. We really feel duped and are planning to now report this to the Better Business Bureau. The problem is that once you send off your car, you really relinquish control over your property and are entirely at the mercy of the driver - if he happens to be Bobby from RoadRunner, Buyer BEWARE!!

    On 2/22/17 I spoke with a RoadRunner rep who said I could make a no-obligation reservation or a future booking. As the move was a month out I went ahead and agreed. He took credit card info but assured me nothing would be charged to it. He said he'd send an email confirming our conversation with a service policy. It came within minutes. That same day someone called, asked if I'd gotten the email and wanted to know if I'd sign the service agreement, which I did.

    Today when I called to cancel my "reservation" they informed me that I had signed a booking that entailed a $195 non-refundable fee. At no time did I understand that was what I was asked to sign. In looking back, the word "booking" is there, but it didn't register. This was only minutes after I'd made the reservation. Other companies have told me that they don't book till closer to shipping time because they won't know who will be available till then. I spoke with two representatives of the company who told me it was too bad but they weren't responsible for my failing to understand what I was signing. I would NEVER do business with this company again.

    I have used them twice before with no issues, so I contacted them to transport my 2014 Cadillac CTS-V from Minnesota to California. The car has a broken back windshield, I explained to them multiple of times the car has to be enclosed so no damages will occur during transport, it's December, so obviously there is snow, rain, and etc. 70k dollar car needed to be enclosed. I was quoted $1495 for enclosed and $945 for open, I sent a picture so there is no confusion ENCLOSED TRAILER. I get a no problem, pick up has to be picked up before 12/26/16 and delivery has to be here no later than 01/03/17. I was told no problem. First I get a email for $1595.00, I email back and said "you just said $1495.00." "Oh yeah because you are a good customer, manager approved $1495."

    So I get a new email, which then I was told on the 12/23/16 for $1495 but I need to hurry up and pay so they can get it dispatched and pick up date will be met. I gave them my card over the phone while I'm at work since It has to be scheduled right at that moment. Then a few hours later I was told "no problem car will be picked up on 12/25/16 by 9pm." Monday goes by no word from anyone, I call around 5pm EST and was told driver has until 9pm. She will let me know if she finds me out anything but their system doesn't update until the morning. Tuesday comes I don't hear anything until 10pm EST from the seller, said car was picked up by a open trailer, he was confused, and sent a picture of the truck information and current mileage on car and told me they didn't provide a landing bill pre-inspection paperwork because it's all electronic. So he's like that's odd and said let him know if I need anything because we all said enclosed.

    I contacted RoadRunner right away, and Angela said she will contact dispatch and see what's going on. She calls me back and said it was a dispatch mistake, nothing they can do, and I need to pay for the open trailer directly to them. I told her no, where is my car, and once it arrives I will assess the car and we will go from there. She then threatens me multiple time saying if I don't pay them by the end of the day they will delay the transport, and it will go into storage. I contact the transporter interstate transporting which has no idea what's going on, said they don't hold cars and I need to be in touch with RoadRunner for any issues and they are not liable for any damages (which RoadRunner specifically said interstate is insuranced for 150k for damages and they will be liable). Still today no one knows where the car is, no one knows where the pre-inspection landing bill is or what's going on.

    Car suppose to be here tomorrow. I'll update once it ever arrives. RoadRunner live tracking of car is a lie, no one has a clue, customer service will try to threaten you for payment, I have like a bunch of voicemail from Angela demanding a payment or car will be delay or be in storage. We will see how this turns out. I would stay away from them. No wonder they don't have a Better Business Bureau. I will be contacting the FMCS.

    Roadrunner transport company should get an award for the below categories, if it exists: Scams, Liars, Looters, Unprofessionalism, Rudeness and Non-responsiveness. Scamming people when you are prospective customer. Customer service is very good at this stage. Once you book and pay the initial payment, customer service becomes worse. They will commit a home pick-up, however, they will have some cheaper transporter arranged for you who will call you 22-23 miles away from your home.

    At this stage no one picks up the call. I was told to drop the car 22-23 miles away from my place. I was unable to meet the people before I was about to fly next morning, as I had to make the 40+ miles to and fro trip for dropping the car. They make at least $300-$500 making from you, and to put people like you and me situation like mentioned above. Stay away from these crooks. I think they are only 2 people company and change names to present themselves as multiple staffed enterprise.

    I have used this company to assume that they are the best in the Auto Transport but their Customer Care is very rude and very unprofessional. I have to move my car from Kansas City to the California. So I have chosen them because they have given me the assurance that the vehicle is going to be picked up on the same date and for that, I have paid 4-5 hundred dollars extra as compared to other competitors.

    Before the pickup day (30th Sep), I have not received any call or the confirmation from them. On the pickup day, I called them and they told me I am going to get the call from the driver for the Pickup (two hours prior to pickup). So got busy with my house stuff transport. Exactly around 2.00PM I got the call that the pickup is not going to happen because the driver is running before the schedule. And that call is from another transport company whom they have tied my transport. They are very rude and not answering my question - just told me to "call the RoadRunner (RR) and talk to them regarding your concerns."

    And then I called the RR Auto Transport. There is a lady who picked my call and started telling me about the agreement conditions that our pick up is always estimated not confirmed. I tried my level best to explain my situation that I have to take the flight next day early morning but she keeps on telling me the bookish answers instead of giving me the solution.

    And after so much of discussions and calls finally, I got the call from one RR guy called "Chris" who very calmly listen to me and try to help me in the situation. So there is a lot more happen. But I am concluding my review with the note that: "This company is not the real transporters, they are the agents who can tie your transport to the other transport company." I am giving one "Star" because of the Chris and the truck driver. Otherwise, they don't deserve any stars.

    Made reservation weeks in advance. Should have done more research on company. It's a scam. They don't transport anything. They allegedly find a carrier to transport your car. I should have dealt with THE company who actually does the transporting. Communication does not exist and forget about any semblance of customer service. They are nasty and THEY DO NOT CARE. I must have contacted them 10 times to get information about the pick-up that never happened which totally screwed-up my itinerary. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get a recommendation from a friend, business associate, car repair business, car dealership... Just ask someone! I should have!!

    On Aug 24th scheduled to have my car picked up by RoadRunner Auto Transport from my home on Brooklyn NY shipping it to San Diego California. I was told 10 days max from the pick up date and was giving a drop off date of Sept 6. Between initial scheduling and vehicle pick up customer service was awesome, great, 5 stars. There seems to be a communication gap between RR and CFR. THE PROMISED 24 HRS TRACKING IS GARBAGE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GARBAGE X2. I spoke to a woman there that was trying her best to not have to transfer me to the manager, arguing with me about why they didn't call me to tell me my delivery was delayed, and how they do business with CFR.

    I don't care about all that trash. I want to know if I'm paying your company for a service why the hell you can't give me a proper update on my vehicle. I'm very disappointed with the people there except for the young man that took my order. Everyone else needs customer service training that explains all the negative comments online. I'm still waiting for my car which is gonna be a day late smh without explanation. BOTTOM LINE I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE. Service sucks. Not reliable!!! I'm sitting here praying my vehicle get here in one piece and all my stuff in the trunk is still there. I will update this as soon as I receive my car. To be continued...

    Prior to booking my shipment, this company called me everyday to convince me of why they are the best. I booked this shipment contingent upon my car being picked up by the end of the week. They told me my car will be picked up in at most 48 hours because they already have a truck ready. When the week ended, I called them several times but they never picked up. I sent multiple emails until someone later called and said my car will be picked up by the end of the day.

    Two days after that, I didn't hear back from them. Called and emailed them multiple times to no avail (they had already charged my credit card). They probably got tired of my daily calling and emails because they send an email later saying that my money will be refunded in 5 business days. The person who duped me was named Jack. Stay away from these people. They'll convince you to book a shipment but once it's done, you will not hear back from them and forget about your shipment being picked up by when they say they will. Save yourself the time and energy.

    2 mopeds shipped from California to Mississippi set in CA for a week then passed off to another company once it got to MS where they documented where one of my mopeds had no sign saying do not stack. One of my mopeds had clearly had something stacked on it as there was a big hole in the plastic wrapping. Inside my windshield was bent, my left mirror was broken off and my trunk was scratched. We believe that our second moped was set on top of the other as it had oil in the carburetor. We believe that with the time it took the coyote caught the roadrunner and damage shows the fight was a long one.

    Would recommend to stay away from this company. They delayed shipping of my vehicle twice (from broker to dispatcher) and I ended up paying extra for a rental car. There is something broken in the system that allows things to get lost in communication. Just go with an auction site that has multiple companies bidding for your shipment. I should have paid attention to the reviews beforehand instead of paying more for this broker and ending up with more expenses than expected.

    We called this company a month ago to transport the car from Pittsburgh to CA on June 29, 2016. We kept calling every week to get a time of pickup as we are staying in hotel for one day. We called on June 29th and they kept telling us that they are unable to reach the driver and he should call 3 hours before he comes for pickup. We waited until 9PM until they close and no driver showed up or given us a definite time for pickup the next day. We stayed in the hotel another night hoping they will pick up today. We called them and spoke to their staff and they told us "the driver is not showing up" and that they cannot get hold of him... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL. They are the worst I ever dealt with.

    I was supposed to get my car transported from Denver to Missouri on 26th March 2016. RoadRunner took the booking (Ref # **) and charged me an advance of $200. I was told that car would take around 4-5 days to reach Missouri but on the day my car was to be loaded, I was told by the driver that he will deliver the car next morning. Since my flight to Missouri was supposed to land in the evening next day, I asked my friends to receive the car. He noticed some scratches in the rear bumper and below the front door which he showed to the driver but driver kept repeating that car was dirty, hence he could not see the scratches and made my friend sign the bill of lading.

    I reached in the evening and logged a claim the same day but the claim adjudicator by the name Elizabeth ** outrightly rejected my claim. My claim was pending with her for more than 3 weeks since she is the only one working in the claims department for RoadRunner. My suggestion - Don't ever opt for RoadRunner. They don't have drivers available with them and will put you in a spot at the last minute. Also forget about getting a claim approved because they will simply reject it.

    I used this Company to ship my car during a move for the military. My car was received by a friend as I had not gotten to my new station yet. It was completely covered in oil. The driver told him to sign for the car and take the issue up with RoadRunner. When I sent them the documentation and pictures they said because I signed for the car they would not reimburse for the damages. I did not sign for it and I followed the directions laid out by the driver they hired and told them to reconsider and they ignored me. It cost me 118 Dollars to have the car cleaned. The oil was everywhere. It had dripped under my bonnet and completely covered the car and wheels. I think this is atrocious customer service and I implore you to use another company. They will not take care of you if an issue arises.

    My car arrived to SoCal without a problem. However, upon shipping my car back to NJ, there were a couple of very expensive items stolen from my car... i.e: designer sunglasses. Also, I paid an additional fee to have my car on the top of the trailer. My car was not on the top of the trailer upon delivery. There were many, many, scratches to my car being that it was on the lower part of the trailer. In addition, the driver of the trailer claimed "it's too dark and your street has too many low laying trees. Can you please come get your car two towns away?? I'm afraid I won't be able to avoid hitting those branches on your street." WOW!!!

    The truth of the matter is this. The driver never had my SUV on the top level of the trailer and didn't want me to notice. He had my car waiting for me in a parking lot. However, there was a gas station attendant across the street that witnessed my SUV being on the lower tier of the trailer. I would not use this company again for the reasons mentioned above.

    This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I hire them to take my car from Tampa, Fl to North Georgia. I tell them it has to be Wednesday or sooner but can't be after Wednesday. Sales guy says "Not a big deal. We got it." Their office calls me on Tuesday and leaves a message confirming pick up before 5 pm Wednesday and sends a email to back it up. Wednesday comes and the driver calls me at 10 am saying she can't do it and complaining about the car not running and how she doesn't have a winch. Not really my problem since the paperwork says not running. I call them back to complain and they keep saying their contract says anytime after Wed. Bull. I have VM and email saying Wednesday and even the sales guy's email and they hang up. I call back to tell them their drive cancel because the driver doesn't want to pick up the car. It too much work because it's not running.

    They hang up on me and I hire another company that did it for less and never complained one time and was on time since they know I had a plane to catch Wednesday night. This company RoadRunner Auto Transport is rude and has no customer service at all. The people working there all have attitudes and very rude and never want to work with you. They were calling 5 times a day to get my money and when their driver canceled they never call you back to help you. They also will try to commit fraud on your credit card 2 months after to try to bill you for not picking up the car. Yes they keep all your credit card info and try to charge you months later. Scammers and willing to do anything to get your money and then try fraud you months later thinking you wouldn't notice. Negative 10 stars. They should be run out of business for their low life actions. I turned them info the BBB and the state of Florida and New York.

    The car was transported promptly and timely but the personal items in the trunk were rifled through and stolen. Birthday presents for my daughter were in the trunk. Dishes, silverware and other personal items in bins in the trunk were stolen. Her grandmother had died in September leaving her china, silver and other items and these items were stolen out of the trunk while in transport from the West Coast to the East Coast.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This TERRIBLE company told me that my car would be delivered before Christmas. It is now three days after Christmas and still no car. They can't even tell me when it will be delivered. I am getting the total runaround with their "customer service". That is in quotes because there is zero service taking place. Every person I have spoken to has been rude and unhelpful. Total lack of communication. I am on hold going on 20 minutes as I type this. They are "trying" to locate my car. Very unprofessional company. I will be contacting BBB of my experience.

    I was quoted a price for car transport from Ohio to Florida on an open carrier for $742 and a day later a $25 discount to $717 with pickup from 11/17 soon after. In fact they noted that "We can get you reserved for pickup typically within 72 hours." I sent all the info requested and got a response by email at 11:21 this AM that it was being processed. Then I get a phone call at 1:30 PM that to get a carrier would cost $100 or more now with little time to make other arrangements. I was also told that the caller was with the appointments board and all carriers would be the same. Is this normal that any quote re. car transport cost means nothing? Is RoadRunner representative of the industry? Is this a form of "bait and switch"? Certainly other possible customers should BEWARE of dealing with RoadRunner Transport.

    Shipped a crate of steel and a pallet of drill bits and cutting wheels from Cincinnati to Houston last November 2014. The crate made it, and the pallet was stolen. It took a YEAR for them to get serious and pay up, after I had them suspended from UShip.com. This claim was for over $8000 for the value of the merchandise, I was on it like a pit bull for the full 12 months. They rolled out the arsenal of stops, ignore, fax for info, demand more info, dispute weight, dispute value, DISPUTE THAT IS WAS DELIVERED!

    I hammered them each time with the facts, and they'd go silent for a month. Loss claims are idiots, upper management are idiots...poor people at the terminals are left to fend off angry customers. Couldn't even tell me which terminal stole it. Ended up paying me a value to weight ratio, instead of insurance value. You better understand, THE RATE THEY QUOTE IS NOT GOING TO SAVE YOU ANYTHING WHEN ROADRUNNER WILL NOT REIMBURSE YOU LOSS OR DAMAGE.

    Just terrible. When I was sold on their services (Sept 21st) over several competing companies, I did so because I was promised 14 days door-to-door service. Even their website declares 16-17 days to go beyond my location. In reality, it wasn't even put onto the carrier truck until the 19th day after I delivered the vehicle to begin its journey on the 23rd of Sept. Finally, on day 25 and counting, I've been contacted by the driver and told "maybe" late Wednesday (2 more days) which will be 4 weeks later after being promised 2 weeks delivery.

    Despite contacting HQ now 4 times and being told twice that I would be called back (only once that actually happened to be told it would arrive within 4 more days (which of course it didn't despite already being over a week late at this point), the only contact that has been initiated aside from myself has been from a dispatcher in Seattle who wanted to know if the car was a convertible despite having a full description of the car on hand. Alarmed, I called AK Transport and I was told that should never happen but then received a second call about week later from the same dispatcher to inform me that car was still sitting in Seattle. Nothing about this experience has been easy. Nothing has been fast. The communication has been absolutely terrible. They were very, very helpful until the moment they had my money and have been zero help since that day.

    Finally, on the night of Oct 21st, the car has arrived. Other than steering fluid all over the hood that dripped on it from the car placed above it, the car is intact but I am far from anything that could be described as satisfied with this service. I will never recommend any person ever use this service. Oh, did I mention that on 23rd of October (one month from the day I delivered it), I was finally contacted back to be given vague commiseration and a promise to look into it and get right back to me. Despite that promise which seems to be habitually spouted, it is now another week since deliver and 5 days since they promised to get right back to me and as expected... no communication at all. So if you have a LOT of time on your hands and want to pay for a level of service you certainly won't get from my experience, then by all means go for it but smart customers will look elsewhere for truly professional service.

    They damaged my Range Rover. Steering wheel total effed up and now trying to avoid paying for the repair. They subcontract it out to guys in Brooklyn who have no clue how to handle a high end car yet they charge high end prices. Lied about subcontracting it out to Plycon. Lied about servicing my claim. Sent some broken down rusted out poor excuse for a trailer to pick up car. Do not trust your high end car or any car for that matter to these ripoffs. Guy who picked it up could barely fit into the trailer and car door. Left oil and dirty marks all over driver's side. Lied about delivery. Lied about pricing. Charged extra to process credit card. Made demands to pay in cash to avoid tax. Shame on this company. No service, no quality, nothing, just avoid. USE PLYCON. We ship about 70 cars a month, I wouldn't even ship a bicycle with these people.

    I booked RoadRunner to move a car. The pick up date was missed and RoadRunner never gave me an accurate answer as to why. Each time I called, I was given different information. When the driver missed his contracted pick up date, I was told the driver would be there the next day. I heard nothing from the driver or RoadRunner. The driver finally called two days later to tell me he would pick up on day 4. He told me conflicting information. I don't want to use the word lied but unfortunately it is the correct word. I was lied to by RoadRunner and lied to by the driver. He never came and on day 4 of waiting, I cancelled my pick up. Please do not call RoadRunner. You will be sorry!

    I contracted with RoadRunner Auto Transport to pick up a TBIRD in Pinellas Park Florida and deliver to Wisconsin. The RoadRunner driver never showed up and the dispatchers (4 of them) never called me back or contacted the mystery driver. Their business practices are HIGHLY suspect. I would NEVER recommend RoadRunner Auto Transport.

    The folks quoted me an amount of 169.00 for deposit then swiped my card for 285.00 without my permission. I have no idea what the deposit is for - definitely not for the customers security. The server refused to drop the vehicle off in my area. He wanted me to drive An hour away. Then when I told him I couldn't, he threatens to take my car and not return for another five days. When I called RoadRunner they said that the issue was between me and the driver. Finally I convinced them that the reason I paid the deposit its for my security. They finally got on the phone and convinced him to drive in my area. Once he got here, he could just leave thing alone. He also added that I took him out out his way. Pic yeah - I paid an total of 1098.00... Never again!

    RoadRunner was the third party with this shipment, actual hauler was Marvin's Transport LLC. The front end of my 2012 Dodge Charger was completely cracked and ripped from the front of the car, bolts and all. Components behind the grill and underneath the car were extensively damaged by whatever occurred. Marvin's Transport so badly damaged it that he used 4 bungee cords to put everything back together. When the body shop took the bungee cords off, the front of the car just fell apart. However, Marvin claims that he has no idea what happened to the vehicle only that he noticed that the bumper fell off. The bumper is the entire front end by the way... top to bottom, it's one entire piece on a Dodge Charger and the entire front end was cracked in half! When he dropped off the vehicle he stated that he would pay for the damages and signed off that he damaged the entire front end.

    We chose RoadRunner Auto Transport because we were told that it would be 100% insured. We paid for the service that included full insurance but now Road Runner's "claims department" says that they merely mediate. We did not turn the car over to Marvin with any of the damages that we sent over in the claim. Marvin begged us not to report this to his insurance and that he would pay us directly because his insurance deductible was high. Now I know that he told us that because he never intended on paying. We went through our insurance company since no one else cared to help us and when all was completed, Marvin had done over $2,700 worth of damage. We do have all the documentation that he did the damages and know that we will eventually have this settled but this is ridiculous that I am still having to fight about this a month after the shipment. I will also be fighting for the "100% insured" wording to be removed from RoadRunner's website and contracts since that is definitely false information.

    I was PROMISED...REPEATEDLY by Frank/Franco at ext ** that my vehicle would be picked up of the dates I requested...I also REPEATEDLY told him if he couldn't guarantee those dates...I couldn't use them as I had a logistical nightmare trying to fit all the pieces of the puzzle together...He told ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM!! My vehicle was to be picked either of Saturday or Sunday...I called Monday morning after no one called me (as they did not answer due to the weekend)...They hadn't even assigned a driver or company to my knowledge.... Very dishonest Company...Do NOT use.

    BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!!! Roadrunner is the worst, most unprofessional company I have ever encountered. The owner Ryan is nothing but a shyster, and I will scream this from every mountaintop I can find. In July 2004 I researched them right here and hired them to move my Infiniti QX4 from Chicago to Los Angeles. We said delivery could be no sooner than July 7, as this was the date we were arriving in LA. I received a call from the driver July 5 saying that he would be at my place in an hour with my car. I said "That's great, but I wanted delivery on the 7th; I'm not in LA yet," and he got angry and mouthy, and said that I was "screwing up his driving route." Then he told me that if I wasn't there to accept delivery he would leave the car at an impound lot nearby and I could pay to pick it up later. When I said this was unacceptable he went off on another tear about my "complaints." Eventually he said he'd "Do me a favor" and re-route his driving to deliver it July 7.

    When it arrived, the first thing he said was "Your car has some damage." He proceeded to show me a 2 foot long by 3 inch wide dent in the hood of my car, supposedly done by a swinging bar on the delivery truck. He wrote out on the original bill of lading what happened, admitted it was his fault, and told me whom to call at their home office in Iowa. I did the following day, and the day after, and the day after, for 5 days until I finally received an answer from Ryan Briley, the owner. I was told to get an estimate, which I did. The estimate came in at just over $1,200, and I faxed it to Ryan at the office July 13, 2004.

    I waited a week with no response, then called for a week before getting an answer from Ryan, who claimed to not have received it. I faxed it again, then made copies and sent it certified mail. It was signed for and received, then ignored. After dozens of long-distance phone call, faxes, and email on their website, I finally
    had the car fixed myself; driving it around in that condition was ridiculous. I faxed and certified mailed the receipts for all of the work that had been done to

    Ryan at Roadrunner, and never heard a word; the actual work came in far less than the estimate, by the way - total bill is $818.48. I called, faxed and emailed from August 27 to November 29 before I even got him on the phone - NO ONE ever answers the phone at this place, why they even have a phone is beyond me. You can only leave voice-mails about every 10th call because their mailboxes are always full; gee, I wonder why.

    On November 29 I spoke directly with Ryan, who at first pretended to not know who I was or what I was talking about. After a couple of minutes he said "Oh yeah, I think I have a note or two on that somewhere, hold on." After 10 minutes on hold - apparently he was hoping I'd hang up - he finally comes back and says "I'll cut you a check myself right now and put it in the mail tomorrow, do you want the check number? The check number is **." I wrote it down and thanked him for his time. I was out of town on business for several weeks in December, and when I returned Dec 19 no check had arrived. I called Dec 20 and was told that Ryan was out of the office for a week.

    I then left the country From Dec 28-Jan 27 and travelled through Iraq, Afghanistan, and 7 other countries in the MIddle East entertaining the troops (I am a comedian). During that time my wife called and left voice-mails for Ryan on Jan 3, Jan 4, Jan 17, and Jan 18, while being unable to leave a message numerous other times due to the voice-mailbox being full. Of course, none of these messages were returned. She finally spoke to Ryan Jan 20, and he again tried to pretend that he didn't know who she was or what she was talking about until finally acquiescing. Ryan told my wife that he would but the check personally

    and it would be in the mail the following day; this time he promised to fax a copy of the check before he mailed it. None of this ever happened, as he was lying yet again.

    I returned to the USA Jan 27 and tried to call every day, only to find his voice-mailbox full. I faxed my intentions to go to small claims court if I was not paid soon. No response whatsoever. Finally, I left a voice-mail for his partner Corey ** on Feb 7 2005, telling him my situation and that small claims court was next. No response. I left another message on Corey's voicemail Feb 10 stating the same thing. No response. I faxed several more times. I emailed their website
    several more times. No response whatsoever. I have gone to the Better Business Bureau and filled out a complaint, as well as the forms to file in

    small claims court.

    Today is March 10, 8 months since they admitted they were responsible for the damage to my car. I made one final attempt, calling and actually getting Ryan's voice-mail Feb 28; I told him that if I did not have the money in my hands by March 3 I would mail these forms. I heard nothing and expect to hear nothing. I have filed my lawsuit, and I plan to spend the next year surfing the web for all of the "Consumer complaint" websites like this one, and tell everyone who will listen that these people are nothing but shysters. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They are liars and cheats.
