I'm not so happy with Omega right now. The first claim I had was on my Mercury. I called claims and the first words that came out of the mouth of the girl who answered were, “Oh, we don't pay that.". I finally got somebody else on the phone who said “Yeah, it's a claim,” and then they paid it. The second time, I included my Suburban truck on my warranty and I got stranded with a dead battery. I got it started and brought it home and AAA installed a new battery. I submitted my claim on August 15th and have yet to receive any money. They told me they would cut a check in September. I called in last week and said I still haven't received any money. They said they mailed it 22nd of September. To this day, I still don't have any money. They said they were going to cut another check, but this was just last week.

The next time Omega offers something, they should explain clearer and exactly what the benefits are because while I had to use it, I had to go through a lot. When they offered me the insurance, they told me that they were gonna cover everything in the car, even the light. And if the car's gonna be on the mechanic for more than three days, Omega would give me a rental car and would do anything to help me. Once my car needed to go to the shop, they didn't wanna rent the car. Also, I had to pay part of the prices plus the deductible. But even though we had that issue, Omega responds.

I liked Omega so far, everything else that comes along with it. I have used it and I have been waiting for a check. I went in to get a service done on the car and the service guy spoke with the lady at the place and she told him that she would give him a credit card number. By the time he got the paperwork written up and called back in to get the card number, he couldn't get anybody on the phone. So he sent an email. Instead of her just going ahead and giving him the information so he will have it, he had to call back. If you knew you were about to close, then why would you tell him to call back? I was very dissatisfied. I also called in about my check and I waited. I had to call back again because I still hadn't received a check. The man told me, "We're gonna send it out to you." But I still haven't received a check. That was since May and I followed up twice about it.

Omega Auto Care is a good company. I would tell people if they want to sign up, they should. It's important because if something happens to their car and it's really expensive, Omega can pay for 90% of what's going to happen to it. Omega could use more customer service on a weekend and faster service to get people on the phone though. It's hard to get them on the phone at times 'cause you gotta be on hold for at least 20 minutes.

I had the oil change two weeks ago. But they haven't reimbursed me yet. I took the car to the shop at 2 o'clock and they close at 5:00. The mechanic stayed on the phone for two hours. I found out that dealerships do not like to deal with aftermarket warranty companies like Omega. It will be helpful information to know that in making a decision. Omega should provide the companies that you might want to target to try to get service done when you need it. It would be nice to know what companies are ideal to work with that's close to where I live. I did an oil change claim and I got refunded for that. But if you have an emergency and you take your vehicle to a dealership because that’s the logical thing you would do, you would get a rude awakening. You're gonna get charged and they're not going to want to work with such companies such as Omega. So that could be a very big negative.

Then called back because he didn't get the approval for it. So, they had to hold my truck for a whole other day. The mechanic was the underwriter, but he was kind enough to go ahead and call them again the next morning to get everything verified. He spent over five hours to get my thing approved and they would not let me take my truck. I thanked him a hundred times for his due diligence to take care of me.

    Hi Marissa,

I think there must have been a misunderstanding somewhere along the way. You have had 2 claims, and the first one was approved within 3 days of being called in, and the other one was called in, and completed within 24 hours. If you were without your vehicle for 2 months, we most certainly had no idea.

Is it possible that the repair facility was busy, and didn't call it in for a while? Not sure what happened here unfortunately, but the claims were processed expeditiously.

The repair shop had spent a lot of time on the phone and they weren't happy about that. It took about two days to get the authorization. There was also an issue with the parts, whether they were authentic or used. The axle into the control rod had a bust in it. It was clearly something that was a warranty issue. Omega paid for the labor, but not the parts. The repair shop wouldn't do the repair with the parts Omega had offered to pay for. We ended up having to pay for that out of pocket for $1,000, which I don't think was fair. The car was taken apart at the shop, so couldn't go somewhere else. We felt held up about that. Ms. Ruth,

Thank you for sharing your experience. I see the denied claim, for an non-covered item from 2019, but I also show that you had an approved claim in 2020. It looks like we approved $1,218 towards your AC repair.

Although we would love to be able to cover all items on all vehicles, I am sure you can understand why that's not possible with the age and mileage on some vehicles.

We hope to be able to continue to serve you, as we appreciate your business, and thank you for choosing Omega Auto Care.

I certainly hope not because I've paid on the coverage for a long time and I used it, but that shouldn't be a reason for me to be canceled. My power window on the passenger side and a running board on the driver side would not go up and down and a rear parking sensor and a heated seat were not working correctly. They got most of it done but there's some controversy about the running board. The Smart Auto people are saying that they don't know if that's gonna be covered or not. My complaint about that is the policy is bumper to bumper. I have another complaint because Omega called for an adjuster, which is fine, except for the fact that they tell the shop, “We're putting in the claim for an adjuster.” Then the shop needs to have my car on hand for 24 to 48 hours. They could close that window a little bit more. Also, if you go online, they list the auto body shops that accept the coverage. In my area, that list is pointless. You have to go to a dealership. None of these outside shops wanna deal with extended warranties. Nonetheless, we just signed up my husband's truck with Omega.

I haven't had a very good experience with Omega. It came with three free oil changes for the first year. For the first oil change, I took it down to the biggest Chevy dealership in our city. The guy that I took it to, I've known for 40 years, and he's worked there all the time. He called and called to get the oil change taken care of. I picked the truck up and Omega didn't pay him for another week and a half. So, the next time I took the truck down to get the oil changed again, he refused to deal with Omega.

He said, "When your truck has a problem with it, I'll deal with it at a later date with them. Right now, to get a free oil change from Omega, I don't even want to deal with it. If you want me to change the oil, you pay me and you deal with them." I went ahead and paid him 75 bucks for the oil change, Omega pays back 55 bucks. I photocopied it. I emailed it to Omega. I faxed it to them but I didn't get anywhere for two weeks. I didn't even get an answer from their people.

I made three calls. I got ahold of someone that said that they were one of the managers there and she would take care of it. But I never heard anything from anyone. I was told by that person I would get an answer that afternoon and she would call me back. I never heard anything from her. I waited two more days, I picked up the phone, and I called. I was just about ready to cancel it and I got ahold of one of the people. I explained it to this dude and he said, "I know that person. I will send this email again to her." I got a call back the next day and they said they would send me the $55 check in the next six to eight weeks. But I didn't get a $55 check in the mail. I'm not overly happy with my service.

The payments take long. I was with them for a year and seven months later, after I've been doing my oil changes all by myself, I found out there's a maintenance for a year. So I didn’t get any of that money that paid for my truck as far as the oil changes. I told them I've done all this and they said, "No you gotta do it within a certain time limit." I said, “Nobody told me that when I got service. Y’all just took my money out of my account right away, 300 bucks. If I only knew that was there, I would’ve gotten more money."

So what I did is this whole year, I did one oil change that I got back. And then I had to do the brake thing right before my service ended. I just wanted my payments to stop. I almost went to a different company that was going to charge me $75 a month for the same coverage from where I left off and just quit Omega, and I didn’t. So I finished off my time. But I sent them the receipt for the maintenance thing and I never got that money back.

Six months later, I called and said, “Hey, my truck might need some brakes and an oil change. Do I give the garage my contract number?" They're like, “You have a maintenance fee. All you do is send us the receipt and we give your money back for it.” And I was like, “Then why didn’t y’all tell me that?” It was like, “They might not have told you.”

So I called the number I had on file and it was not even a working number anymore. I had to call a different number. I waited online forever to talk to the person. I thought I was being scammed and I had to make sure it was going to the people. So I shut down payments. Then they called saying, “We see that you got maintenance. Your payment did not go through for this month and this will void your warranty.” I told her, “This is my problem. I didn't get any money back for anything I’ve done.” They said, “You sent it to the wrong number.” I’m like, “That number is no longer working. That's the number I sent all the things in.” They said, “You'll only get reimbursed for the last month.” That sucks. That’s six months’ worth of stuff I paid for my truck. So I'm glad my payments are over and I'm just waiting for my warranty.

    Tracy,

I am very sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience, but we truly welcome all feedback. You have had 3 claims in total, and the only reason that so little was paid was BECAUSE it was such a small claim. Since you have a $100 deductible, it takes away from the authorized amount. The age of your vehicle doesn't affect your coverage in the sense that it doesn't change over time. You have the same high level of coverage that you had when you originally purchased it.

Although I do not hope that anything goes wrong with your vehicle, and you have a large claim, you can rest assured that $20 would not be all that we paid.

I will reach out to you personally as well, just in case you have additional questions.

One time, I was driving to work and the check engine light came on. It said, “Stop as soon as possible.” That was a mile from work so I went ahead and went to work, got my phone out and called Omega.

They had a person come out and put my car in a flatbed instead of regular tow truck, which was nice and had it towed to the dealership. I had to complain to get the service done, though. I was told originally that the dealership was fine, but then I was told that the dealership was charging higher than the prevailing rate in Farmington, New Mexico. There aren't that many places in Farmington or the Four Corners to go, and the dealership was a better choice, especially because the car has to be reset with new parts put on because of the NSF features. I had them tow it to the dealership and they started to balk at it but they paid for it.

I also had to pay for two extra days because they didn't order the part on Friday morning like they said they did. They waited till Monday and ordered it after I called to complain. I was a little bit upset with that. But otherwise, I've been satisfied. Hopefully, I don't have to use it and hopefully, things will go fine from now forward.

Thank you for your detailed review. I would like to begin by apologizing for the long claim. Although I see the issue that took place with your claim, there is no reason it should have taken that long, for something that was a relatively small repair.

There was a part on your vehicle that was in fact still under manufacturer warranty, and said part was attached to what failed. We were attempting to determine what part had actually failed, as that would have determined who would be responsible for it.

Omega paid him and I informed them that the work was not done, and they told me to keep reaching out to the person. I finally reached out to the person and he got in contact with me. But my car has been at the shop waiting for them to look at it for about three weeks now.

Originally, I was taking it in for a thermostat. Then, the mechanic called me and said there was something going on with the water. He believed it was the thermostat and the water pump. So, I paid for the thermostat and Omega covered the water pump. But now, my car completely shut off on me on the road. I just got off the highway when it happened. Omega towed it to the dealership but they are not able to look at my vehicle. They’re backed up and has no opening until late April. I didn't take the car originally to them because they did not have anything.

Omega seems to be convenient and I will recommend them to a friend. The only issue I have is that they help cover stuff but they need to make the rental upfront on how long they’re gonna cover it. With logistics being so bad everywhere, they should go ahead and put that in. I was in doing the water pump alone before it stopped running on me and I had a rental for almost three weeks due to the shipping situation. The part was on backorder and Omega only covered the rental for the three days that the mechanic worked on it.

    Alex,

All contracts have terms, and the most basic part of ours, is the schedule of covered parts. If something is not listed, it is not part of your coverage, and cannot be covered. I listened to your sales call, and at no point were you told that that "EVERYTHING" would be covered.

I understand that it's frustrating to have to pay an unexpected bill, but there was nothing that could have been done in this case.

I have to admit that it surprises me that you consider it a "loophole", since this is your second policy with the exact same level of coverage.

The signup was easy and I had a year to pay it off. But no company wanted to work with Omega. The service was terrible. It took three months to get $100 back for a tire. The company said, “Look. We can't get you out of here because they’re not going to pay us. And it’ll take three weeks. So we'll give you the tire.” It was a tire and there was a nail in the sidewall. I needed a new tire. I was heading back to Florida from South Carolina, and they wouldn't do that. They said, “You can just submit a claim afterwards.” Omega wouldn't take it.

I had to drive from Florida to South Carolina to sit in the place and wait for them to redo the entire claim. Then it took another three months to get my claim money back because they lost the information over and over and over. They finally decided to give me my money back because they couldn't find any of the documentation. I did do another claim for an oil change and tire rotations, and that went through fine. But I had to sit and wait an extra hour for them to call Omega and register the claim. The call and the wait and getting to them was rather a nightmare.

Every time I've called Omega, it's a different story. It's on my mind to cancel the service because if I've been treated this way just for oil and brakes change, heaven forbid anything happen to my car. I might as well save $100 and put the money on account and save for when I do have the major breakdown because it's very poor service. I spoke to a customer service rep about two weeks ago who said it was misfiled and I should receive the reimbursement in a couple of weeks. I need to cancel because it's taking my money off my account every month and I'm not getting the service. It doesn't make sense that happens. I'm being ripped off and it's a shame. Our AC stopped working and the claims process was easy. But of all the companies I've dealt with, Omega is the hardest to deal with. The dealership confirmed that with me too. A lot of the dealerships would rather not work with Omega. They feel it’s more work on their end and I get it. But at the same time, I paid for a policy and Omega has come through.

I've had four other extended warranty companies in the past and it didn't take as long. The process with Omega takes a lot longer. Once the car goes to the dealership and once they find out there is something wrong with it, they have to submit it to Omega. They have always requested to send an inspector out. You take the car in and it takes a day or two for the dealership to look at it, then they send it over to Omega. Omega takes a day or two to receive it and process it. Then after that, it takes a day or two for them to send an inspector.

The inspector needs a day to send the report back to Omega who then needs 24 to 48 hours to process that inspection report. Then, the claims adjuster will approve or deny. If he approves, he lets the dealership know. The dealership has to order the parts. If the parts are a week away because they're coming from wherever, you got to wait a week. So, we're talking of a two to three week-process and they only cover you for the car for three days. So, you're without a car, which is my biggest complaint. I have been asked let everyone know but I'm not going to do that. Omega paid the claim, it just takes way longer. But I wouldn’t buy Omega again.

    Sanjay,

I'm sorry you had an unsatisfactory experience, but it seems your dealership gave you some incorrect information. We never sent an inspector, and we approved your claim within 48 hours. We only asked your repair facility to send pictures of the failure instead.

It appears that your vehicle was in the repair facility for 2 days before the claim was even filed, and then an additional 6 days after we approved the claim.

It would appear that your vehicle was in the shop for quite a while, but majority of it would have been out of our control. Then, I called and she said it hadn't shown up. She gave me an email address to send it to but I got the refund check so it did go through. I would recommend Omega though I understood at the time that refunds and oil changes were for the time you had it, and it was not. It was for a limited time so Omega called and offered me to pay X amount of dollars per month to have that extended. Something was wrong with the front end of my car and I wasn’t sure what the noise was. But the dealership was able to fix it and I only paid my $100. It was great. But there’s a big disconnect between the dealership and Omega. I constantly have to remind my dealership that I have Omega. Even though I bought the warranty from the dealership, they don't seem to have my Omega information linked to my account. So when I call and tell them, “Hey, this is what's going wrong. This is gonna be my claim kind of thing, I want to use it as my claim,” they would say, “What kind of claim? What are you talking about?” I would tell them that I have Omega. Then they would say, “Oh, okay. We’ll have to check it. We’ll let you know if we can do that.”

I didn’t know that I had a first year maintenance plan. So it went past that. I paid for two oil changes out of pocket, and never even realized that I coulda got my oil change for free or up to a certain dollar amount for the first year. Two weeks ago, I went and had my oil changed and told the dealership to use my Omega. But they said, “What?” I told them that I have a maintenance plan. They said, “Oh, okay, okay,” and they just blew it off. But I didn’t think to check with it. I checked out of it and paid 20 bucks out of my pocket because there was something else I bought. A few hours later, I got an email from the dealership saying, “Hey, you still owe this money. Your Omega didn’t cover this." So I called Omega and they said, “Yeah, you only have one-year maintenance plan.” But nobody told me that that was up from Omega. Nobody told me that that warranty was gone now and my year had lapsed.

I'm grateful that I have Omega. I had to put this truck in the shop one time right after the factory mileage was up, and it worked out perfect. So I’m very blessed to have this extended warranty. Living in North Dakota gets super cold so there was moisture in my crankcase filter and it froze, which in turn made the dipstick pop out from its housing, and oil was everywhere. I was fueling up and all I see was oil dripping out of my truck. Luckily it was a small issue. It wasn't any engine block so that was awesome.

I paid $100 deductible and the only other thing I had to pay the dealer was for them to degrease my truck and I ended up paying $250 out of pocket. I was satisfied with the coverage and I knew I had a $100 deductible but I was not expecting to pay any degreasing issues or fees from the dealer. I assumed that that was all part of the job. But I fully understand it. Though on my last truck, I had extended warranties also and I took that thing in numerous times and only had to pay the $100 deductible. I never paid any other fees. Still, I was very satisfied with the quick service from Omega.

    Ms. Lana,

I am sorry to see you are dissatisfied with your coverage, but after looking at your file, I can see that there have been a few misunderstandings, and I am hoping I can clear them up. Let's unpack them one at a time:
*We didn't refuse to pay your shop for the oil change. We called to make the payment, but didn't get ahold of anyone.
*Reserving the right to ship parts, or determine what parts to use, is standard procedure in our industry, and ALL other companies will do the same.
*NO company will guarantee that they will blindly cover 100% of any repair cost. NO insurance product (health, vision, car, or warranties) works that way, and if a salesman told you that, they flat out lied to you. I don't mean to sound harsh at all, but I have been in this industry for a long time, and it's unfortunate when people get lied to by salesmen who don't know the product properly.

However, don't take my word for it. I would suggest that you call the actual administrator of the policy you have been considering, and ask them if they would ship parts, and if they can guarantee to always pay 100% of your bill.

Lastly, I do hope that you decide to stay, and allow us the opportunity to show you that the policy was in fact a good investment, and we can EARN a higher rating in the future.

So they gave up a little stink for about a day and a half, and they finally agreed to do it.

I’ve had to file two claims, one was for a transmission that quit working completely and the other was for the engine misfiring. But it took what seemed like forever to work back and forth between the auto shop and getting approval. I spoke with the adjuster several times to try and expedite stuff. I used to be a mechanic and I know what the processes are since I've handled warranty claims. Omega seemed like they were over ensuring that I had a problem. They wanted to make sure that there was actually something wrong with the vehicle, and I wasn't trying to scam them.

Omega Auto Care was friendly over the phone. I had a bunch of questions to make sure it was not fraudulent because I always got that kind of stuff in the mail. They answered the questions I had. It was quick and just did paperwork, and we were able to handle the rest. I forgot that I got extended warranty services and the dealership told me that this one part would cost $1,800. I said, "Oh, my goodness." It was just our hazard lights were stuck on. Once I remembered I had it, I called Omega to see, "Hey, is this something that it would be covered?" And they said, "Yup, as long as it wasn't your fault, as long as it's just a mechanical break, then we can cover it." All I had to do was give my service manager at the dealership the phone and they coordinated the rest with Omega.

You got to read the fine print and know what is covered. So, before you pay for the service, make sure the things that matter to you are covered. For me, the biggest things were the tires. If anything randomly happened to the tires, the transmission, the engine, and the electronics to go along, which were all covered. Just realizing that if it's something that you did wrong and it was your fault, they probably would cover it. It's more or less to cover things that are no longer covered by the factory warranty for the new car. The thing they investigated with my case was whether I spilled something on the console that caused the switch to get stuck. So, as long as you realize that you got to take care of your car still. It's not a free pass. I only had to pay a $100 co-pay instead of $1,800 for a part. So, I'm extremely satisfied. My experience was awesome.

I was contacted by Omega for extended warranty after purchasing my first new car. I was spam called by them for weeks and ended up buying the coverage deal. It has been a nightmare since 2017. EVERY SINGLE REQUEST has been denied by omega. Every single one. I’ve paid over $3,000 and They don’t cover anything! The worst part: Now I need a timing belt and the dealership called Omega yesterday for coverage and Omega had canceled my policy!! They NEVER called me and when I called this morning they told me “We are not responsible for calling you. We don’t have to call.” Omega is saying I didn’t make the “last payment.” I said “well how many payments did I have and how many did I make?” Omega said I made 23 payments of $150 and missed the last 24th payment.

Why would I make TWENTY THREE payments of $150 and not make “the last payment?” It makes NO SENSE. This is a SCAM. Now they are saying there’s nothing I can do and that I don’t have a policy anymore despite giving them over 3 thousand dollars and them denying EVERY CLAIM I ever asked for in the shop. I somehow magically missed the very last payment after making 23 consecutive payments and they won’t give me any help.

I cannot stress enough: Do not use this company!!! I can’t speak enough about how rude every single customer service person I’ve spoke to over the years has been. The only time they were ever respectful and nice to me was when I was enrolling for their fake policy scam. Every other interaction with them since 2017 has been rude and just being told no every time my car needed anything. I’ve paid CASH for every fix every needed thing for my car. This was a complete waste of money. I don’t know how this company is still in business.

Take your money elsewhere. It’s gut wrenching to lose thousands and have them just not even care! I have to pay 2K for my timing belt and a couple other small maintenance things. I’m completely screwed. As a single parent it stings even more because I do not have money to throw away on fake warranty companies. I hope they get shut down but hopefully I can see stop others from losing thousands to this scam.

Omega Auto Care told me that they covered certain things which I was good for, which was my engine and electrical problems. So, I felt good with going with them. Purchasing was easy. And the reps were good. When they handled the claim, they handled well. They gave me a rent-a-car. The shop put a used part in my car. It malfunctioned and the car had to go back in the shop. So, I'm waiting for the adjuster to get to the shop. The only thing is I had the car for a week, drove it once, and now it's back in the shop. It has been there for three weeks. So, I'm a little frustrated, but I'm trying to figure out on whose end is supposed to do what because my car is still just sitting there. Whoever Omega had handling my case ended up going on leave. So, that put it in for the next person to take control of it so I could get somebody to start dealing with and handling my situation instead of me calling all over the place, getting frustrated.

They should just have the adjuster reach out more. Whoever's handling the claim, to make sure things are going accordingly with time. Because a lot of times, the dealer put it on the warranty people, and a warranty headed back and put it on the dealership when it comes to who they got the parts from, then the customer is left with the, "What's going on?" So, more of having the reps call when they deal with the claims to make sure that the claim is moving forward. Weeks shouldn't go by me not knowing what is going on with my car. That's the major problem right there. Every week, it should at least be a courtesy call with an update. Other than that, I had a great experience.

You would want to see what service providers are in your area for whatever your vehicle is. That way, you would know you don't have to take the car three hours down the road to get it worked on.

I had a good experience with Omega Auto Care. Everything went easy and smooth with it. I talked to them with everything. It was making a lot of noise, so I had pulled over to the side of the road. I had called the roadside assistance and they had picked up my car. I took it to the dealership. Then from there on, they started the process. It took about a month and a half. At first, they were trying to deny the claim because of the mileage. So, they had me do a lot of things to try and get them to believe that that mileage was correct at the time. My CARFAX on that vehicle was pretty extensive on there. I felt like they had me do a little extra work that I didn't need to do because everything was on the CARFAX. But other than that, everything was okay.

Omega Auto Care did everything they were supposed to do for me. They were very professional, and I got everything handled in a minimal amount of time. I have it on my 2017 Hyundai Sonata. My air conditioner went out and it was covered under my warranty. They gave me very good service. When I sent the claim in, the dealer was gonna charge me a good amount of money. What Omega did was they reduced the amount of the air conditioning. The air conditioner in their warehouse was a lot less than what the air conditioner was in the dealership. So, that saved me a little bit of money. When that went down, they had it here within two days and the dealership fixed it the next day. I had my car within three days.

As far as the claim process, once I understood what they were trying to do, it became a lot easier. They were trying to explain stuff to me that I really had to ask three times to make sure I was doing what they were doing. It kind of worked out to my benefit, so I was happy with that. I'm very satisfied. The only thing is in Thanksgiving, they didn’t have a lot of representatives that I could get to. I had to wait until that Monday to really get into it. The problem happened on a Friday, and they had one person working. If they would have told us, “You need to call back on Monday, and we have more people,” it would have been easier. We kept calling this dude, and he never answered the phone back. But once Monday came in, I talked to somebody in the office and got an appointment and it was okay after that. Omega Auto Care was the most affordable warranty that anyone offered me. The warranty that I was originally going to go with was about triple the price of what I'm paying now. The person that I spoke to at Omega was extremely informative. She was very quick and helpful when it came to me not knowing a lot of stuff. I didn't have to ask a lot of questions. She knew exactly what to say and how to sell the warranty. She knows about cars herself. She was telling me that not only is this specific warranty in my budget, but it also is paired through a lot of local auto shops that are nearby. A lot of other warranties that I did look at, they are pretty far out. Some places charge for towing and it's not included with the warranty, but Omega includes that. Also, I didn't have to pay a big deposit or have to do anything crazy with fees.

I did a claim yesterday for the starter on my car that finally went out. I had to be transferred to an adjuster about getting the ball rolling and on seeing if I could get a rental. It was fast and and they explained to me that I needed to wait for the auto shop to call them, that I didn't even need to make the claim and that they were going to take care of everything for me. That was pretty convenient. For the rental, I am covered for it. I just have to get the green light from the shop. What they will do is the shop will organize the whole rental getting set up if I absolutely need it. They still need to diagnose the car. They said it is the starter, but it could also maybe be something else. Now that the warranty is done, it could be the battery going out too. They were brief about it at the shop.
