A couple of months after we purchased the car, it suddenly started making a loud noise and we couldn’t even hear ourselves talk in the vehicle. I made a claim and it turned out to be the wheel bearing. Omega takes care of their claims as soon as you put them in. The customer service is wonderful. I have always been a customer of Omega even when I had my first vehicle. So, I'm a five-year customer and I love everything about them.

My car had a transmission issue and the dealership took care of everything. They had my car picked up and since the repair, it’s been good. It took about a month for them to get it going but everything went smoothly. I just paid the deductible. The premium that I pay every month is high, considering other premiums I looked at. But Omega did a good job. They dealt with it.

My 2017 Cadillac XT5’s engine light was on. This is the second vehicle that I've had covered through Omega. I filed the claim and everything went really well. They came, towed it and took it to the shop. They kept me aware of what was going on, and the process and how long it would take. Their reps were very courteous, informative, patient and understanding. I’m very satisfied with Omega. I like the way they take care of business. I hope they keep doing what they're doing. Omega Auto Care took care of my transmission and paid for my oil changes, just like they said. The GMC certified dealer wanted to do it. Weeks went by, and I didn’t hear anything, so I called Omega. They said they haven't even sent an inspector yet and the guy was already demanding payment. I went to him and asked him, since that meant he was done with my truck, and he denied it. It took me over a month and a half to get my truck. That first week that I was without a vehicle, I got a rental. It was just for a week, but it cost me a lot of money. I only got what Omega allowed, not the full reimbursement. That’s the problem I have with them. Otherwise, the payment’s not been bad, and I like Omega.

I filed a claim with Omega Auto Care for my HVAC compressor, and it's been working well now. The mechanic, he did all the talking to the guy, but they didn’t give me any problem. It was kind of hard to get to them at first, but once the mechanic got to talk to the right guy, he got everything sorted out. I think Omega's price for their warranty might be the best around right now. I hope they stay in business.

I had a fuel pump repaired back in July through Omega. The actual service itself was fine, but the approval process took the longest. My car ended up being down for almost a week and a half. I had to file the claim myself, which was a hassle. When I did call in to handle the claim, the customer service was fine.

I signed up for service on 14 July 2025 and did not receive a policy until 7 Oct 2025. In between time I called them on the 7th of Aug after they had charged my credit card. I told them when I signed up that I needed a policy # and billing address so I could set up autopay through my account and not to charge my card any more. I still did not receive a policy so I called to cancel my policy on the 7th of Aug because it has not been a month and was due a full refund. Of my 2 payments.
Never received a payment and on the 5th of Sept they charged my card again, now I have talked to customer service 3 times and told them to cancel my policy. Still no refund. Then when I called on the 1st of Oct 2025 they told me that I had to do it in writing and I received the policy in the mail on the 6th of Oct and called again and Roger the manager told me no refund, so they just took my money from me. And if I had a claim I still did not have any proof of insurance from them. So they just took my money and no service of any type or proof of service!!
Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand how frustrating it can be when expectations around documentation, billing, and cancellation are not met, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation.
Omega Auto Care is the administrator of the service contract, which means our role is limited to handling claims once. The seller of the contract is solely responsible for all cancellations, refunds, billing adjustments, and delivery of contract documents. Because of this structure, we cannot process cancellations or issue refunds directly.
We are sorry to hear that you did not receive your contract materials in a timely manner and that you experienced multiple unexpected charges while attempting to cancel through the seller. While we cannot override the seller’s policies or actions, we are always willing to assist by providing guidance and helping coordinate communication when possible.

I signed up with Omega when my factory warranty expired. I made my payments, and nothing is ever a problem until there is a problem. When the transmission went out on my car, the process to get it repaired was inconvenient. The dealership I went to had to contact Omega with the estimate for the repair and parts. My repair person later told me that Omega does not use factory parts, which is usually why dealerships do not take these warranty jobs. I had to wait for the parts to come from Omega, and I was not told where they came from or whether they were new or used, which I did not like.
I was without my car for several weeks while waiting for repairs, and Omega only paid for a rental car for two days. During that time, I had to find alternative ways to get to work while also handling funeral arrangements after my mom passed. Because of this experience, I might look for something else when my warranty is up. I pay on time, and when I find that I need to use the service, I need it to be there on the spot, the way I have been with my payment, and to not have to go through a whole lot of hassle in order to use the benefits that I paid for.

Omega was really slow getting back to the dealership. The mechanic spent seven hours on the phone just to get the approval. The repair itself only took about an hour, but waiting for the part and getting approval from Omega took two weeks. They really need to be faster with giving the dealership the okay, instead of making them wait on the phone for hours.

Before I went with Omega, I was with another company. I paid for it, and I kept waiting for the paperwork, but they never sent me anything. So, I thought it was a scam. So, I canceled it and went to Omega, and I opened it with them.
I had a claim for a cracked gas manifold, and the repair was great. I haven’t had any more problems out of it. The only problem I ever had with Omega was that I didn’t know exactly what to do. I went out to crank the vehicle one day, and it wouldn’t do anything, and it was the starter. So, I called the repair service. He came over in his truck and put it on a flatbed, and took it to his shop, and fixed it. They paid for the repair, but they wouldn’t pay for the tow service over there because I didn’t call them first. So, it ended up costing me several hundred dollars. It wouldn’t have happened had I called them, but I didn’t know I was supposed to do that.

Horrendous, almost non existing customer service and when I finally got to speak to a person the rep was extremely rude. Got this coverage for my mother’s car. Emailed and called to cancel the coverage and they kept charging her for 3 more months. Tried calling all of their numbers and emailing them to no avail. Finally forced a claims rep to connect me to “Repair Bank” (their sales wing) and got accosted by the woman on the phone who finally said that the coverage was cancelled and that a refund was issued. Yet to see if the refund will be for all 3 months. Buyer beware!

I had my car serviced, and I had to reach out to Omega because the place that had my car told me that Omega did not call them back when they reached out to them. The process was the place submits the claim, and then they send out an adjuster. But when they called one day, they said, “Yeah. It was sent to an adjuster on Tuesday.” He should be there in 24 hours from when he receives it. But they had to call him. He didn't come till the following week, which was longer than 24 hours. So the contract and talking to people were confusing. The contract says one thing and then you talk to a person online who says something different. But overall, I would still recommend Omega. Everybody I spoke to was really nice. So that's when the service was good.

I had to file a claim with Omega Auto Care due to a leaking CV boot in my vehicle. Overall, the claims process was quite satisfactory, although there was some back-and-forth between Omega and the mechanic regarding the parts needed for the repair. It seemed like there might have been a concern about the cost of certain parts, but, as far I'm concerned the parts are essential.
Despite the discussions, the entire process was relatively quick, taking about a couple of days. This includes the time needed to submit the claim. I'd say it was efficient and smooth enough. Once I contacted Omega, they instructed me to find a mechanic, who then communicated directly with them. I just had to pay a $100 deductible, and that was it - straightforward and easy!
I’ve already recommended Omega Auto Care to a coworker, emphasizing how they cover pretty much every detail without it being a hassle. Reflecting on this experience, I’d definitely give them a high recommendation. Having their service was a lot more convenient than dealing with these repairs on my own.

My car had a persistent issue: the headlights, set to auto, were always on - day or night. This led me to take my vehicle to a Chrysler service center where they diagnosed the problem as a faulty body control module. The technicians at Chrysler had to investigate a couple of times, and eventually, they figured out it was indeed the module causing the issue. Omega Auto Care facilitated the payment for this repair, which was a stress reliever as I didn't have to interact directly with them. Everything related to the claim was handled seamlessly through the service department receptionist, and I was only responsible for the $100 deductible.
From experience, the signing-up process for Omega's extended warranty was quite straightforward. The entire repair process required multiple visits, each about three hours. However, the replacement was completed efficiently, and my car works perfectly now.
I have been with Omega since late 2023, aligning with my vehicle's purchase. Impressions of the service so far have been positive; complications were minimal, and support through the claim process was adequately met by the service department.
I’d recommend trying Omega Auto Care. Based on my brief experience with the claim, it seems to be a reliable choice for car warranty services. The entire situation was managed professionally and conveniently, providing me peace of mind regarding future automobile issues.

I’ve been an Omega customer for about a year and overall, my experience has been satisfying, particularly with their customer service. I’ve needed to take advantage of their services twice. Each time, I could select from a range of certified mechanics on their website, which was great because it allowed me to choose based on my specific preferences.
The two times I utilized their service involved both a repair and a brake replacement. For both instances, they waived the deductible fee and managed everything seamlessly. The brake service required a mobile mechanic due to my scheduling needs, but it all went smoothly.
However, there has been a persistent issue with their third-party billing service. I faced challenges because my bank, Bank of America, wouldn’t allow auto payments to go through due to scammers using the same payment service Omega uses. It meant I had to intervene multiple times to fix payment issues, which understandably complicated the process and extended resolution times—sometimes up to three months. I’ve raised this matter with Omega, suggesting that this reflects poorly on them, despite their services being generally reliable. Hopefully, they will address this to prevent similar issues for other clients. Apart from the billing hassle, Omega Auto Care has consistently covered my needs without major issues.

During my three years with Omega Auto Care, my experiences with their customer service have been somewhat mixed. On a couple of occasions, when I had issues with my vehicle and took it to the dealership, there were notable delays. Specifically, the wait time to speak with someone for authorization was quite lengthy, which happened at least once. I waited about 45 minutes for a representative to address the problem, which was quite inconvenient as I don't always have the time to be on hold.
Despite these instances, whenever I reached out to them directly, I generally had no trouble getting through. Overall, my satisfaction with Omega Auto Care is strong, though the occasional long waits for dealership authorizations could be improved.

I had high expectations with Omega Auto Care, but my experience turned out to be quite frustrating. I've been with Omega for about four years, and while they did cover my repair costs as promised, the process of getting approval was quite a hassle. The first issue arose when my dealership contacted them. There was a mix-up, and Omega mistakenly told the dealership I had no account. It took several calls and providing evidence of my payments to get that sorted out.
Even after confirming my account status, they claimed I just signed up and wouldn’t cover the repair. The dealership was unwilling to call Omega again due to previous long hold times. After more back and forth, where Omega ultimately admitted the error, my car was left unrepaired for about a week because of delays. Eventually, the repair was covered without dispute, which was nice, but the unnecessary complications led to a lack of trust. Overall, my satisfaction is quite low due to the initial service delays.

I opted for Omega Auto Care following a less favorable experience with another company, Car Shield. I had reached out to them to clarify coverage details and was dissatisfied with what I found, prompting me to cancel. Around that time, my brother-in-law recommended Omega Auto Care, sharing positive experiences he'd had. This made me shift my coverage to them.
With Omega, I've already had a positive experience; I had an issue with my car and they covered a significant repair cost. I had chosen a plan with a deductible of $100, whereas the needed part would have cost approximately $1700, plus an additional $500 in labor. Omega handled everything efficiently, and the entire process took only about three days, leaving me extremely satisfied.
Originally, my warranty expired when my car reached over 100,000 miles, so I sought extended coverage. Omega offered coverage up to 230,000 miles, with a plan that allows accelerated payments. Although initially skeptical, thorough research and confirmed coverage effectiveness during repairs strengthened my confidence in them.
While dealing with Omega's warranty process, I did encounter a slight mix-up with my VIN number. The dealership noticed it during the repair process, but a prompt call to Omega’s protection plan team resolved the issue without much hassle, further showing their commitment to service. I had an option to get a part via my mechanic for an additional fee, or have Omega ship it without extra charges, further proving their valuable service.
Given the integrity and reliability Omega Auto Care has shown, I highly recommend them to friends and family for their thorough and dependable service.

I had bought a used 2016 Cadillac from CarMax and it still had 40,000 miles left on it as far as warranty. And so, when the warranty expired, I got a lot of letters, and I went with what I thought was the best price. I got down to Omega and another one. I went to Omega’s website, checked to see what the plan was offering, and then went on the other to compare. I decided to go with Omega because it had an unlimited warranty. The car has over 3,000 computer parts, so I wanted to be able to take care of this car long after, and I wanted to give it to my son when he gets old enough to drive.
With this car, I couldn’t take the chance on having to pay full price if something happens, and I am so glad I did because I had to have a new transmission last year and because of Omega I only paid $100 for it. Getting an actual rep has not been hard at all. They usually answer my call or they would call back if I leave a message. I got some new tires, and so they reimbursed me for the tires. I had to call them to get the fax number to send in the receipt. Omega reimburses tires if you go to a reputable dealer, and they also do it for oil changes.

And so far, it’s good. This was just something small. It's not a transmission or a motor or something that was gonna cost more money than what little big money that you all did put out. It wasn't a drop in the bucket. Omega covered some things and there are some things that they didn't. I'm glad they handled it the best that they could.

They said after the first week they would need to send an expert which they did only after two more weeks. After the final report they told us they wouldn’t cover the repairs nor the diagnostic because they believe the problem existed prior to the existence of the warranty contract. This is not true but still even though the repair shop, our car dealer and I tried to call and explain the situation, they would not budge. Why pay so much money for a warranty that does not take care of their clients and leaves them without a car for 3 weeks. That’s absurd. Also, Omega didn't ship the parts like they were supposed to. The preferred dealer they sent me to, they didn't want to spend money on because they can get the parts cheaper. They said they’re gonna send them overnight but we didn't even receive them until six days later. It was a really bad hassle and it shouldn't be that way. I also gotta deal with three different companies. Omega does the parts, some other company sold me the policy, and then there was some other company that had to give their approval before anything. I have an RV policy with a company called Viking Warranties who also does automotive. Omega Auto Car is who they broker for. I’ve had my first claim with my F-150 this other month, coming out of winter. The track for the moon roof crenated itself. That claim took a fair while, but that was more on the dealer than them. One of the rules is that you can't use the vehicle for business. They were supposed to come on the weekend, but they weren't open. But they came and approved the claim. The claims process was relatively easy for that part. I had to give my little booklet with the plan number, then the dealer called, then it went from there. It's really the hold up. The vehicle was at the shop for almost three weeks.
The dealer tried to tell them that the cost for the track was almost $2,200. Omega didn't approve that because that's not the going rate. Omega said the dealer argued, and I was like, "Then why can't I find it on Ford's website for 1,600 like they're saying?" At that point, the dealer shut up and finally ordered the part. When I call first they told me plain and simple, "You are going to have to wait," then they told me that they have a new P.O. Box. Never informed that they changed their address. When you asked them about the charges made in the cc they could not provided me with an answer and told me to call another number. When I called the other number provided; they were off. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! I was with them since 2023 with two (2) other parts fixed with no problem and now in 2025 they messed up my vin number so the right transmission part wasn't order. They (Omega) order the wrong part by the person they sent out to see my car, and didn't trust the shop I had my car to with the right vin number for the part. Had to rent a vehicle over the contract time because of their mess up. Now they don't want to pay the full days for the other days of the rental because of their mess. Had to get a rental vehicle twice so I could go to work on the job that I have been to since 1988. If they had not messed up my vin number and the delay/wrong part on my car it would have been fixed within the contract rental of 11 days. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON THEM!!!!

As a repair facility we give Omega our lowest possible review. Being in the repair industry for 45+ years I think I have the experience to give a true review on this company's attitude towards the auto repair business. In my opinion the warranty you pay sometimes for over $3500 usually added to your car loan should be there to help you when your car or truck needs repair. Instead they through the fine print on your contract due not cover the repair or if the repair it’s covered by contract they want to source inferior parts and control labor costs to the point the repair facility does not meet their profit margins that are required to meet their overhead costs and make a fair profit.
This causes the repair facility to either increase their labor rates and parts mark up on other jobs to cover/make up their losses on aftermarket warranties to stay in business. Much like the effect medical insurance has had on health care costs. Adding more people getting paid in the process of repairing cars or medical procedures just increases the cost of the services resulting in more average out of pocket expense.

I would give this company 0 stars if I could! I received a call on my cell phone 3/25 @ 9:37 am to sell me a warranty for my 2013 vehicle that has less than 100k miles. When I tried to told the representative that I was not interested he continued to talk about the warranty coverage. I tried to tell him I was at work and to add me to the no call list, he still proceeded to speak about the warranty. I requested his name, he refused. I then asked to speak to his supervisor, he still refused. The representative was rude, condescending, and distasteful when he began to make smart remarks. Prior to him hanging up on me, he stated for me to "continue to drive my 2013 vehicle" and to "get out of here". I would NEVER do business with a company that employs representatives like this, if this is how they speak to potential customers.

My claim with Omega for my 2018 Honda Accord was challenging. I had the worst experience ever. My car was shutting off randomly while driving, which was a major safety concern, especially with children on board. I took it to the dealer in December and the diagnosis process was incredibly frustrating.
Initially, the dealer couldn't locate my car. Once they did, they identified a potential head gasket issue and communicated this to Omega, who required further tear downs and diagnostics. This extended the repair duration unnecessarily, with inspectors delayed by the holiday season. The car was with the dealer from December 6th until after New Year's without resolution.
Communication between Omega and the dealership was poor, with each blaming the other for approvals and delays. The dealer informed me that I needed new injectors, but Omega did not approve this initially. After weeks of stagnation, I had to move my car to another dealership and undergo the whole process again for the injectors to be approved.
I had to rent a car during this time, costing about $800, of which Omega only reimbursed for five days, money I still haven't received. Overall, it was a stressful, drawn-out process with little support from Omega, leaving me extremely dissatisfied.

My credit union, Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union in San Antonio, Texas referred me to Omega. The signup process was easy. I had no real trouble doing so. And the representatives were very kind. They asked a lot of questions pertaining to my vehicle. At that time, I no longer own it, but they still asked a lot of questions just to make sure they had everything correct. They were very precise about that.
I was very pleased with the claims process. But they were a little slow in responding to the dealership. It wasn’t something I would bother as long as they were staying in communication. I understand that they have to cross all the t's and dot all the i's. That was the only little frustration I had.
I would call them and ask if they heard from the maintenance people and they would say they’re still waiting on them. That they are still doing whatever research and just making sure they’re getting the proper equipment and the right transmission, one way or the other.
And it took about two weeks to process everything. The reason being is that GM had issues with the particular transmission that exactly went into the vehicle. My vehicle was a 2021 Silverado and then it was backordered. Omega said, "Well, we have a vendor. We can get a transmission." It's just not a stamped GM transmission but it’s comparable to the one they have. It will work.
It's fine when I got it back. It ran just like when I initially purchased the vehicle. I got it sold now. And as far as I'm concerned, Omega did what they were supposed to do.

Back in December, I had a claim with Omega Auto Care for my air conditioner. It took 10 days to get it fixed. It took a while to first diagnose and then go through the process of getting parts and getting approval from your inspection before they would go ahead with this stuff. Thank God the dealership provided a loaner car during that time, because I only have one car and couldn’t be without transportation. If I hadn't had that rental car, I don't know what I would have done since that was in the Christmas season, when you're even busier than normal.
I haven't had any direct contact with Omega during that process since the dealership contacted the insurance and got an inspector to come in to agree as to what needed to be done. But overall, I would say Omega made good on what they promised to do. The coverage is supposed to cover the basic warranty that my car would have. I would probably recommend them to someone as long as it functions and does what it’s supposed to do.
As for the price I pay, I think it’s a three-year coverage, and you pay for the first year and a half upfront, so I’m paying more for the coverage at this point.

Omega Auto Care called me. It was a sales tactic because I was driving at the time, and when they quoted things to me, I asked if they could send it to me in writing. They said I would have to pay for it first and then have 30 days to dispute it when it came. I told her I’d like to call back after I finished driving, but she said I couldn’t call them back and had to get it then, so I wound up paying for it while I was driving. The booklet didn’t come for almost two to three weeks, and when I finally dug into it, it was not what they promised me.
They told me I would be able to go to dealers and even named Deaconess dealership that I could take my car to. I took my car up there, set up an appointment, dropped it off, and was told they don’t deal with Omega. I called Omega back and explained they lied to me about the dealership and told them to set me up with one of their reputable mechanics. They sent me to A&I.
I dropped my car off at the beginning of October and just recently got it back, and it’s still not right. I still have a check engine light. He was supposed to be putting in the engine, but nobody can produce receipts that they paid for the engine, only estimate sheets. I was supposed to be given a rental while I’m without my vehicle, but they only do reimbursement for six days or about $250, which didn’t cover anything. I was without a vehicle for a long time, and I decided to purchase another.
During that contract time, the mechanic charged me $300 to open up the engine before starting the work. When it was time to pick up my car, I got a $600 bill for the other engine, the flex pipe, and him fixing something else. In between all this, I'm steadily calling him, checking up on the status of my car and seeing what's going on, or if there is any other hidden fee, but nothing was ever disclosed. Later, I had to go back up again, and I was told I needed new spark plugs, which was another $300, and my car is still misfiring and not running right. I was out $1,200, while Omega paid $1,400 or so for the engine and about $1,500 for labor.
Getting in contact with them means going through a teleprompter system first, and then they connect me to the customer service. Then, if you want to go from customer service further from there, you have a 10- to 20-minute wait before another rep can pick up the phone.
I also found out, after I dug into the booklet, that it just covers the powertrain—the engine, the transmission, and supposedly the differential. When they first talked to me on the phone, they told me it covered front-end work, shocks, struts, and other things, just not normal everyday wear and tear like brakes.

Last year, I took my car to a dealership for a routine cleaning, which was covered under the warranty I had purchased. Unfortunately, after the service, my car wouldn't start and exhibited strange electrical issues. The dealership kept it for about 10 days, and while they initially speculated it might’ve been a battery issue, they also suspected water had seeped into the electrical components. Eventually, they replaced the battery, and the car was in working condition again.
However, a month later, I discovered my air conditioner wasn't functioning. It was too late for a return visit for repairs, but I hope to address it soon with my warranty. During the time the dealership had my car, I struggled to secure a loaner vehicle and had to push hard to get one, which was eventually covered at no extra cost to me.

We had a claim that we had to file, and we had taken the car to the Volvo dealership. Omega wanted me to pay a portion of the repair over what my deductible was, and they said that the Volvo dealership's hourly rate was out of line in terms of what their hourly repair costs are. They were saying it's $220 and Volvo never submitted the change of what their hourly rate is and that based on the repair facilities in that area, they're overcharging for the cost of the hourly repair rate. But they're talking about another off-the-side repair facility which might charge $160 an hour instead of $220 an hour. Car dealerships charge top dollar because you're bringing your product that's their product into the shop.
I had a fight with Omega to cover the cost of the repair less my deductible. I never had a warranty before where I was told it has to be a certain amount per hour or I have to go to one of their preferred repair shops, which I did not agree with. I have a 2019 Volvo XC40. I should be able to take the Volvo to a Volvo dealership with my extended warranty. I don't feel it's right for Omega to dictate where I take the car as long as I'm paying for that warranty. I also wasn't told at the time I purchased the warranty that they had a specific amount that they'll cover per hour. It's a covered part, it should be paid for regardless of where I get it fixed. If they're finding a place that I'm comfortable with that I know is a good repair shop, I would use that. But if I don't feel like they're gonna diagnose the problem correctly and I don't want the car to continue to keep going in and out, then I want the choice to go where I wanna go to get the car fixed.
They covered the claim eventually, with me going back and forth with them over it. I told them I was gonna cancel it right then and there if I had to come out of pocket more than what my deductible was. If it ever becomes a problem again, then I'll tell them I'll find a different company. I also had a policy with them for a 2016 Acura MDX. After I traded the car in for a new car, I called them up and said I was not going to need it anymore. They tried to charge me a cancellation fee. I told them it was a month-to-month policy and that I never filed a claim on it. I could just block the card and they could cancel it, but I was not paying anybody a cancellation fee. Omega is a good and reputable company. They didn’t try to question me about anything. They have been great. Omega told me that the repair shop didn't update something. The place that repaired it's statement wasn't up to date. But it took two days. It was easy. However, I didn't know that Omega would provide the parts so that threw through a loop, and I had to pay $100 out-of-pocket. Other than that, I'm satisfied because I have been through another extended warranty company and they screwed me over. I was upset. They tried to say that I didn't give them the correct mileage. I said, “No. I know what I gave you.” I even screenshot it and sent it to them. I dropped them, and that was when I went to Omega Auto Care.

My AC compressor went out. My air quit working, so I went to the shop where I bought the car from and had them fix it for me. Omega was giving them a hard time with the pricing and they wanted the mechanic to wait for them to ship the part. They get it at cheaper price. But I bought the car from this shop and I bring everything to them. The mechanic went ahead and repaired it for me but he said he doesn't wanna do any more work for Omega because of this. I'm not happy that I can't bring my car back to the shop where I bought it from to get work done.
Also, in the beginning, Omega was supposed to extend my payments before my first payment was due and they never did. I started getting collection calls from them. But like I had explained to the lady, I just had surgery when they signed me up and I told them I couldn't afford it right away and I would need a month until I get back to work so I can afford it. They said it was not a problem and they could bill me in a month. But then they start pulling the payment out way earlier. And the coverage is not what they told me it was gonna be when they signed me up. They told me it's gonna be a bumper-to-bumper warranty or almost bumper-to-bumper, but it's not.

Filing the claim was kind of difficult because they didn't even have the right VIN Number, and they had some random VIN Number on my account. So it didn't go as smoothly as I thought it would. My Kia Sportage 2015 is covered by Omega. I had to file a claim for my AC, and their claim process was not that smooth. I sent my car to the garage, and then the garage contacted them. They said they wanted to come and inspect the car before they started fixing it. I hired a car to use that time. So, my car was in the garage the whole time. They sent someone to inspect the car, and they gave them a go-ahead to fix it. They approved 1,500 to fix my AC. And later on, the garage contacted me and said I have to pay $400 on top because the money that was approved was not enough to cover the cost. So, I ended up paying an extra $400 from my pocket, of which I was only supposed to pay $100. So, in total, I ended up paying $500.
Then later on, I contacted Omega because they have this car hire reimbursement. I called them. Then I sent my receipt, which was almost $800, because I had to wait for them to approve the repairs and to come and inspect the car the whole time I hired a car to use. They gave me $30 for the whole time that I was waiting for them to get my car fixed. I only got $30. I spent $800. The $800 that I used for car hire, and the $400 that I paid to top up the amount that they approved is close to what they paid. They could improve with their car hire reimbursement. They say they reimburse up to five days, but I only got 30 bucks for car hire. I don't understand how they calculated that.

The truck was having some issues with the seat AC element and the radio skipping stations. I called them first before bringing in the GMC truck. I was told at first it was not covered and then when I went to cancel the policy, they called back and said it was "covered". What I found at the end: was a total coverage of $300 for the radio that needed a Front control assembly costing $768 plus the labor which is $210 per hour when Omega reimburses at $140 per hour.
After paying out of pocket $765 and not even having the radio fixed but the GMC repair shop charged me for a transmission coil plus the seat element, and Omega is short $70 per hour for the labor. In the end they reset the radio and said it was fixed. It was not. I had a very frustrating time with the broker who sold the policy. When I called, I told them that I would like to get a comparative bumper-to-bumper policy and they threw me with a stated coverage. The entire time I thought I was getting a bumper-to-bumper coverage and when there were issues that happened with the car, they didn't cover one thing. I went back and forth with the broker. Then, there was an issue with a payment. The payment was submitted and there was an issue with reinstating. Omega was telling me I need to wait another waiting period. I spoke to their compliance officer, because the broker told me there would be no lapse of coverage and the compliance officer at Omega confirmed that. From there, there hasn't been any issues.
But the issue that I have is their labor rates. They're nowhere close and it pushes me to go to their little circle that are signed up with them. Nobody, at least, here in South Florida is anywhere close to 140 an hour. Also, certain things are not pro-consumer. I just had an alternator put in and a brand-new alternator would have been $400. An aftermarket would have been less than that. They were only affording a price saying that they would get the part. But my frustration is with the broker. I was misled to believe that I was getting a certain policy and I did not receive it. But when I did speak with Omega and I spoke to their compliance officer, she said that she was gonna review the recordings and if they told me that there would be no lapse in coverage, then there'd be no lapse in coverage. He informed me that he needed a copy of my auto service invoices, but if I didn't have one, it would not be a problem.
A few days later, he called nonprofessionally, informing me that I needed ALL invoices for the entire time I owned the car. He said this was a requirement even though he has the Carfax data. I also have email traffic and many unclear communications. All these years, I took pride in knowing I took good care of my car; I can see it in the Carfax data. After running all over the city, I didn't have transportation, but I managed to retrieve the documents I requested. The invoices prove I took the car to the dealership for auto care. On the invoice, it says “basic fluids were checked” to include oil status, but because the oil change wasn’t done, Omega Autocare refused to pay the cost of the repair. I had gone out to the cemetery one day and all of a sudden, I got this message that my 2014 Ford Explorer was overheated so, I shut the vehicle off immediately and called the mechanic. He told me not to do anything and he would be there shortly. He came and put some water in it for me to be able to come home. It was a holiday weekend and I took it to the shop on Monday. I don't understand why Omega didn't pay any more than what they did on the vehicle. And it was hard to communicate with them. The owner of the mechanic shop had a hard time getting his money. He seemed to have quite a bit of trouble getting Omega to approve what needed to be done on the vehicle and when he was finished, they didn't want me to have the vehicle. He got his money but he had a hard time doing that. That's just the way Omega works.
I'm glad I had Omega and that they paid as much as they did. But while the mechanic was in there, there were some things that needed to be done because it was going to fail sooner or later because of the mileage on my vehicle. And when my husband asked the company if they would pay for it, they said they were only gonna pay for what was wrong with it right then. It was a hard job to have to go back in there if something happened to it. So, my husband said while they’re in there, we'll pay for it. But if my car had torn up again later on, then I'm assuming they would have taken care of that. Omega wanted my husband to take pictures of it and send it to them. He's an authorized mechanic and instead of going ahead and fixing it and Omega taking his word for it that something was wrong, he had to tear into it. Had I taken it to a Ford dealership, I don't know if it would have been any different or if Omega would have taken their words.
I have an issue with the backup camera on it right now because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I will be taking it to a Ford dealership for this issue but I don't know if Omega is going to cover that without it just absolutely going completely out. Exactly when I need it when I'm in Gainesville and I'm trying to back up out of a parking area, I can't see then. So, it aggravates me. When I pull out of my garage, it seems like it wants to work. It was, “You just missed it,” where it took me some time to get to whoever it might be who looked at it. Where I had the issue within the 12-month period, it just took me some time to take the car to the mechanic. But the coverage is worth it.

I was very pleased with Omega. I called them up on the phone to file a claim and they sent somebody to the dealership, and they talked about it at the dealership, and I wasn’t any part of it. They just called me and told me when to pick up my car. They handled it all. I didn't even do any paperwork. It’s great. I just came up with the $100 deductible and they took care of everything. That was a good deal. It was a very good experience with Omega. I'll continue to use it.

Right now, I'm not too happy with Omega. I put my 2020 Nissan Pathfinder in the shop and was trying to get all three things done at the same time, and they wouldn't cover two of the things that I needed fixed. They said it wasn't part of my package. One of the things is $1,700 and the other one is $1,200, and I don't have that kind of money right now. I thought that I had bumper-to-bumper coverage, including anything that had to do with the motor, the transmission, and the powertrain but apparently, everything that's included with the motor is not covered. Omega did cover one thing. The claim process is fine. It's just getting the work done that needs to be done that I was not satisfied with.

Omega Auto Care jerked me off on my Buick for months. Also, they still owe me $500 for my rental car that I haven't got for over a year and a half. I've had them on my Dodge since 2010. I sent all the bills and receipts to everybody to get my money back. It was over $500. I never saw a nickel. I called and they told me that they were looking into it and they would get back with me. That was months ago. That means I'm never gonna get it. After this policy is over with, I will not renew with them. But a bunch of people got policies over there that I recommended it to. I recommended them to my friend and his wife's new car. And one of my kids got a policy there.

I had my brakes done. That was difficult because I went to the dealership and Omega Auto Care didn't put the time in on time because it skipped my mind that they only cover so much. And as I looked at the warranty, they said they cover brakes and calipers under the agreement. But when I took it to the dealership, they waited to hear information back from Omega. I wasn't happy with the way that process went. That's why I prefer not to go to a dealership because they seem, "Hey, you lost your warranty. You got extended warranty somewhere else. It's no longer our problem." Other than that, I'm going on my three years having Omega and based on the vehicle, it's still holding up. I'm still paying that warranty every month. I would recommend them. They're good people.

I'm thinking about canceling Omega. When I was gonna cancel last year, they talked me out of it and told me that I qualified for a better premium. Since I've been with the company for the amount of time I have been with them, they told me I could get this new policy where if I get a newer vehicle, everything will transfer over to that vehicle. I ended up paying a little bit more for that but the only thing that they were able to cover me most recently was my transmission and that was used. I didn't know that the transmission was used until the mechanic told me that it was. I've been with Omega for years and don't know how I'm getting a used part, being that I've been paying my monthly fees on time every month. Prior to that, I had to get a suspension and come out of pocket on my own for that. That was 1,300. When it was a major claim, I was never covered.

I've called numerous people and I was really aggravated. Finally, someone figured it out. It was a hassle, but we got it figured out.
Another thing is all the people that pays what Omega wanna pay for hourly rate was not even in my area. Luckily, McHugh's agreed to go with what Omega will pay for and that's kind of a bummer. 130-something was all Omega wanted to pay and the place wanted 160. Overall, Omega is good but you have to read the fine print about what they pay an hour because it's changed. It used to be just a $100 deductible.

I was with another company, and Omega called me one morning and said that company was taking my money and they were out of business. I signed up with Omega, and when I put my car in the shop to be serviced, I kept trying to get in contact with them to see what they were going to do. My alternator went out, so I had to have my car towed. I gave the mechanic permission to fix my car, but Omega refused to pay for it at that time. First, they said I didn't have a contract with them, then they called me back. I kept on talking with them. I had my car towed in on a Wednesday, and it was the next Wednesday before I went and got it. I paid for it ‘cause I needed my car, then they said, “Okay.” I was told that it's $421 for my car to be fixed, and all I received from Omega was a check for $129. They said because the cost of the parts was too high.
Omega said to take my car to any shop I wanted, but they never told me that they had to approve the parts. When I and the mechanic kept calling, they wouldn't answer the phone. I would like to see them answer the phone when somebody calls to put in a report. I've even had to pay for my own oil changes because the oil companies are saying, “We're not gonna waste our time trying to get in contact with them. And they never answer us, or they tell us it's not approved.” Since I've had this company, I have had two oil changes. I would like to see Omega do people better than what they did me. I'm not satisfied at all. They brought the price down a little after they took so much money for me. They said, “Okay. We’re just gonna take so much off of what you’re paying a month.” From two something a month, they brought it down to 147. That's how I knew they knew they were treating me wrong, but what can I do?

But I wound up having to pay out my pocket for that because nobody ever answered the phone. When they finally answered, they paid for the radio, but I didn't get my diagnostic money back, which was $195. They are playing a lot of games. We have four different vehicles under Omega and the service is good. I just wish that they could figure out a way how the claims process can get done as quickly as possible when a claim is being done and if the service department is calling to get approval. Once they figure out everything, make a call, press a prompt and then speak with someone, that’s next to impossible. I don’t care for Omega’s claims processing because dealing with the service gentlemen, they don't have time to wait on long holds when they're trying to see or get approval for the claims. I had to take time out of my day to go. There were times I went to the service department and sat and waited on hold until I got a representative so they could speak with them. It could be 30 minutes or longer before you can get through to anyone so I don't like that.
Once you get through to Omega, it's fine. But it's not like I can make the authorization or get the code. They have to speak to the service gentlemen. Sometimes, Omega’s claims reps work with me because I am a longtime customer. They'll try to do their best but a lot of times, they are missing each other. Then they call back and leave a voicemail. That is the only reason I get through Omega. And I tell her the same thing. She said, "I'm so sorry you gotta go through this." I said, "I'm looking forward to moving forward with another warranty place because I don't have to go through this." Their customer care is very under the table. I hate Omega.
Stacey,
I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy, but we are only as good as the information we receive. The repair facility didn't diagnose both issues initially, which then caused a 9 day delay. We spoke to you multiple times through out the claim, and provided updates to the best of our ability. It is quite unfortunate that it resulted in you being so dissatisfied, but the great thing is that we saved you $7,261 to cover your repairs. Since your claims were covered, your vehicle should most certainly not have the same issues.
Although we often provide parts, we did NOT provide the repair facility with the alternator. If you are having issues, your repair is covered by a 12 month/12k mile warranty from the repair facility, and should be covered by them.

I recently took my vehicle to the dealer twice within several months to repair defective issues. NOTHING was covered. If the dealership part labels wording is not the same, word for word, they will not cover. When I signed up for the extended warranty with REPAIRBLANC, they informed me that it would cover everything, exactly like the extended warranty I previously purchased. Power window switch, rear camera, ignition switch. NOT COVERED. Previously; Engine Motor Mounts, NOT COVERED. I even spoke with customer care and she stated the window switch was covered and I could take it to a RepairPal facility to waive the $100.00 deductible. The RepairPal facilities stated they do not want to deal with their warranties for reasons they couldn't disclose. So now I'm stuck with an extended warranty that's not worth a dime. I see they respond to claimants with YOUR warranty doesn't cover this or that. The same attitude that the phone calls represent.
I sincerely apologize for any difficulty you're experiencing. I'd love to assist, but without specific information to look up your details, I'm unable to provide further help or investigate your claims. Please share relevant details, and I'll do my best to resolve the situation promptly.

Once people signed up with Omega Auto Care, they would have a certain number of oil changes. I have not tried to have the shop put into those because that's something new where the shop could call. So, I have submitted an email to their fax number. I don't know about how successful it would be to have the shop paid directly. That would be better. But the old system was you put in, and get a check. The literature that came with my welcome package says I would get it in two to three weeks, but the actual is four to six. That's very slow. I was with Omega and I canceled my policy because I was annoyed with that process. I signed up again and said, "Let's see if this works any better." They kept promising. Their sales department does a wonderful job in convincing me that I would have a better experience, but they wouldn't follow through with it.
The other thing I'm ready to call Omega and ask about is whether there is a different policy because I seem to be pay more than all of the competitors that call me and say, "We can do this for $89 a month or something. What are you paying with Omega?" "138." "Really? Why is that?" And they tell me, "There are different levels of coverage." I said, "I want only the big ones, like transmission or something really hard to pay for at once." I don't care about getting three oil changes in my first year. I'd rather have a lower monthly fee because I expect to pay for that stuff anyway. Or minor repairs, I can handle. I had a repair for the air conditioner compressor and they covered that. So, they're not all bad, but there's lots of room for improvement.
The claim process is okay. I've done the maintenance claims, the brakes and New York State inspection. The window thing was not working, and that went well as well. But I had issues when the switch for one of the automatic mirrors was not working. I had my car in, the service shop called, and they said, "It's a coverage issue." I said, "I don't get it." They said, "Your card is expired that you used to pay the monthly bills." I said, "Wouldn't it have been nice if I was told that when the card was rejected?" So, the car was in there for an additional day while I said, "No problem. I will give you the updated information on the same credit card," and it was okay.
The phone tag thing was annoying. But more annoying than that was the fact that they would just wait until it was canceled for two months and say, "You haven't paid the premium in two months, so you're no longer covered?" It was sloppy. Once I gave them a new card, everything was fine and the shop went ahead with it.

My experience with Omega was horrible. After paying 3,000 for that extended warranty, the time we ever tried to use it, they came up with some kind of Technical Service Bulletin type thing, saying that it was not their place to pay for the repair. The repair was 2,000 something dollars. So, I had General Motors on the line as well with the lady that I talked with. I was out of town when my husband first took the truck to the car shop. When he called me, he said they called Omega to get whatever the number they needed to say that they were going to pay for it once they came up with what the cost was gonna be, and they refused it.
It took a week, a week turned into two weeks, we still didn't have our truck, and this is the only vehicle we have to get around. My husband has Parkinson's and he has kidney failure and he had classes he needed to go to, plus he had a dialysis to get to. We went round and round. The lady from General Motors was real nice. She tried everything to try to help us. We finally got 10%.
I called and talked with Omega. This is day in, day out, me being on the phone, didn't really have the time, but I was getting furious. Finally, at one time, I remember hollering, "I don't care who pays for it, I just want my truck back." I don't have $2,000. I have medical bills. I need my truck to get my husband around. I'm tired of asking people for favors. We live in the country. I need my truck. The lady at Omega kept transferring me, and they finally got me to the person who was their manager. I told her, "You know, I didn't pay $3,000 for this contract that y'all are not gonna do anything about."
I am not happy with them. I don't like them. I went to the Attorney General here in Missouri. I filed a complaint. She said she didn't know if they'd be able to do anything. She said, "Well, what do you want?" I said, "I'd like to get my $2,000 back. But I don't know if I'm gonna get it. Right now, I'm frustrated." I've been on the phone with them every day for two weeks. I had to get a rental car because we had a death in the family. I would not recommend them.Lauren G: The call is recorded.

My truck was in the shop for about four days, but once the mechanic diagnosed the problem and let Omega know, they okayed everything right then. Omega did what they were supposed to do, and everything was fine. It only took the mechanic about another half a day to fix it.

Omega was the least expensive and they lasted the longest time. I would like them to cover more. But they're as good as anyone. I had my vehicle in the shop. I had a motor mount where I had to replace a bottle and a hose. And there was something to do with the ignition. They did fine and I'm satisfied.

I had a good experience with Omega. But when I took my car to get it fixed, it took a long time to fix it. I had to get a transmission put in my car. I was told that they were waiting on inspections. After they inspected it, they started fixing it a week and a half later. That was kinda odd there. Omega covered it. But they need to improve the speed of the process. It should not take so long for them to respond to the people that are fixing the cars.

My experience with Omega wasn't quite good at first because it took me a long time for them to let me know what's going on to see what parts was being okay. The claims process took almost three weeks because I had to keep calling. I even spoke to one of the managers, the train power supervisor, and the person that was supposed to say what was what. The delay was with the parts they were negotiating with the mechanic. It had to do with what was my policy covering and money-wise, what was covered. Everything wasn't covered on some things. The experience was a little crazy for me but the job was done after going through so many changes. I paid my money.
I was very dissatisfied with Omega. As soon as I go and try to put a claim in, they gave me a problem. If they're given the client's money every month and it came out their account and it was paid up, why can’t the client get what they need to get the service in a timely manner? If you get Omega, ask a lot of questions first. What does it cover, especially when it comes to the powertrain and the transmission. If it doesn't cover certain parts, it needs to be explained to the consumer. You should be given a choice if you wanna go with this company or not, becasue if it doesn't cover everything, why even paying for it?

Omega is good on the whole. My wife drove up on one of the concrete pillars and she went to back it up. It pulled the undercarriage from under. After it did that, I went to Nissan to get it fixed. One of the bolts fell out and they didn't secure it tight enough. The molding and everything that was going there up under the carriage were all hanging out. I waited another day or two before they got to it to fix it because it was all backed up.
Also, somebody tapped the front of my Maxima and the sensors went bad. I pulled up on somebody and the sensor was not letting me know someone was in front or back of me. Nissan looked at the issue but they didn't do anything about fixing it. The other day when I got in my car I was going toward the intersection of my block and a little kid came out. He was between the cars and the sensor was supposed to pick that up but it didn't. When I turn the sensors on, they just come on but don't do anything. I gotta take it back to Nissan.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It sounds like there may be some confusion regarding the services provided by Omega. From your description, it seems you’re discussing issues related to your vehicle’s repairs at a Nissan dealership and possibly your collision insurance. Omega primarily focuses on vehicle service contracts, and mechanical failures, rather than direct repairs or collision claims.

If the fuel pump didn't get fixed, then my car would shut off. The hole in the fuel pump would eventually stop the vehicle from driving because the fuel pump can't pump the fuel through the vehicle. The process was a struggle for a little minute. Omega was being difficult with trying to get it fixed. And it took me having to have a conversation with the rep from the Christian Brothers who fixed the fuel pump and the consultant on the Omega end. At first, they couldn't get to a common ground and I had to intervene to explain what was going on. It finally happened but it took a while.
I got Omega to get my car fixed mechanically without having to give out big lumps of money since I'm paying just $127 a month. So, at that time, it was feasible. But I don't have Omega anymore. It's overpriced for the amount of service that was provided and it wasn't in a timely manner. It was like pulling teeth trying to get my car fixed. I wouldn't recommend it.

My contract states it covers power training, but it's been run around for 2-3 months of them trying to get out of paying for repairs. They are fraudulent and liars. Will not recommend to anyone and currently retaining an attorney.

I had to get some service done with my car, and how they priced it, they didn't really try to cover too much, so I ended up having to take my car to one shop. Now I'm in the process of trying to look for another shop because of the cost. Because they use used parts. I had to pay out-of-pocket more than what they cover. I asked them if they could send me to a company that they work with where I don't have to come out of my pocket as much. I drive a foreign car so I caught myself trying to get a good warranty, but it's like it's not an asset to me. Even with my rental, they only covered up to three days, which if the part was back ordered, I still gotta pay more out of my pocket because they have a set amount of time of what they think the time frame of what it was supposed to take to fix. At this point, I'm not a satisfied customer of Omega.

I had the insurance for almost two years. When my air conditioner went out on my car, I called Omega to see if I still have insurance through them so I could see how much they were gonna pay for the repairs. They told me to show them the tag and credit card, and they would do the rest. They said, “Take it to your Ford dealers.” I called the Ford dealers in Streator and then I had to take my car up there to have them check it out. They said the part they had to have was the air conditioner compressor. They put it in about a week later. I called up there to see if I could come up and they said yes. I sat in the waiting room for about five hours. When I went to pay for it, they said Omega was gonna be paying for all of it except for $100. I wrote a check out to the Ford dealers and they did a good job. Omega saved me a lot of money on the air conditioner.

I had a wheel bearing, a cross bar, an oil change and a flat tire. Omega Auto Care was on time. I paid $100 deductible. I had to pay for a wheel alignment but Omega would not cover it. But I'm very satisfied because they answer. They do all they can to help me. I forgot about the plan one time and I had four representatives calling me and told me the same thing. I forgot to pay the bill. I couldn't find the stuff. And I kept telling them to send it to me in the mail. They said they would. But if they would send it, why all the people kept calling me? But I paid it. I'm an on time payer. I just forgot that time.

The only thing is Omega only provides the stuff that they wanna provide. I have a certain stat sheet that says, “We cover the powertrain. We cover the motor, transmission," and stuff like that but when you deal with them, it's a lot of things that they don't cover. I just got the water pump done on my truck and the water pump's already going out. It's been three months. The car lot tried to let them know that that wasn't the best water pump because it wasn't the OEM one that came with the truck. Here we are three months later and it's going out again. It's not all the way out, but it's gonna be out no later than February. The car shop knows a lot more than what they know and when they recommend certain parts, they should consider those parts. And a rental vehicle is in my policy but they didn't offer that. I had to do most of the stuff by myself.
Also, I had three different conversations with them. The first one was more like, “You don't call in. You have to send it to the shop first, and this and that, this and that.” I hung up on that lady and I called a dude back the same week. He broke it down to me and he sent me some forms to the house to state that I have the policy and what it covers and booklets.

My Mercedes is covered with Omega. My first claim was a few months after I bought the car. The sunroof was stuck and then I had to get the motor replaced. That was my most expensive repair. I had to pay out of pocket. I did get a fuel tank replaced in my car and that was four grand. I only had to pay 400 out of pocket. So, that was really good. I got my car diagnosed, and then the Mercedes dealership worked out everything with Omega. Then I got my numbers and I paid after. The only thing was, the first time, getting through to Omega was a little difficult. I have no clue why. They had to keep on calling for about 40 minutes to an hour. But then after that, it was smooth sailing. Every time I call Omega, they are very nice.

I had a Chevy 2017 Silverado 2500HD Diesel covered with Omega. I wish that I had more protection based on what I got out of it as far as the EGR system, but that was just a higher package and I think I was just being cheap. So ultimately, that kind of rolled back on me but I didn't have any problems with them personally. I filed claims a few times. There was one claim that dragged on but I completely get why. What had happened was the fuel rail sensor went bad. I took the car to the dealer to get it looked at, verified, and repaired. I made a claim with Omega and they did take quite a while to do it but it was mostly because they had to fly someone out there to inspect the truck firsthand which is completely understandable because that was an expensive repair. It was like $8,000.
The rest of the time, it's been like, "Oh, yeah, I need to get this fixed." Then they instantly refund the money. I didn't even handle them. I just handed off their number, my policy number, and a couple of other things over to the dealer, and they dealt with everything for me. Omega did what it needed to. I just sold my truck. So, I kinda wanted to get what I could out of the warranty if anything remained.
