Montway Auto Transport Reviews

We were moving, so we needed to move one of our cars without driving it. Montway had a better offer than the other company in terms of cash discount for one, and their price is actually better. So, those are two big considerations before I talked to them. Their rep called me, was straightforward, we did a deal, and it took like two minutes. The pick-up and delivery were on time, and everything went fine. They did a great job.

Montway was super communicative. They gave me updates along the way. I booked last minute. I was originally going to drive across the country. Then I decided like a week and a half before that I wasn't going to do that. I didn't want to do that anymore. So, the fact that they were able to accommodate me in a short amount of time really made it happen. They had me booked within 48 hours for pickup because that was when I needed to get rid of the car so that it got here at a reasonable time. My experience was really good. They were super accommodating. They took pictures of my car and sent it to me in an email. I had before and after photos. I had no damages. The car was a little dirty, but that's what happens when you go across the country.

The reps did great. The driver called me and said what time he was going to be here. He showed up on time then he called my son when to schedule drop-off. The transport was quick and the car was in the same condition that it was when it left here.

I had an excellent experience with Montway. They told me what to do. I told them my brother would be there and they might have to go down to the clubhouse, which they didn't have to do. When I called, the lady whose husband was the transporter answered all my questions and gave me an estimate time that he would be there. They were on time and did a very nice job unloading. It was a piece of cake to deal with. If I ever have to do that again, I'll call Montway.

Montway did everything they said they would do. They were timely. It was a seamless operation from the office people handling it to the truck drivers. In today's business world, rarely do you ever encounter a business with a major operation like this. The service was priced fairly too.

Montway had a reasonable price and the pickup date I needed. The drivers called me, told me where they were and when they're going to deliver the vehicle, and gave me proper updates. That was pretty smooth. They picked up the car two days before. After I landed in Boston, I received the car after one day. It was a very good experience because I have a five-year-old with me. I have all his toys and my kitchen stuff in the car. It was very helpful that they delivered in three days. The car was in perfect condition and the drivers didn't ask for any tips. I'm very satisfied with their service and I recommended Montway to a few of my friends.

Montway's price point was within my budget range and that was a motivating factor for choosing them to ship my car. The online chat was convenient and very helpful. Since COVID last year, it may be hard to have someone man the customer service department. But the 24-hour online chat was important as well as being able to get the pickup company that would be doing the actual transfer. Being able to be in contact with that person charge was very helpful. Montway was able to accommodate the move and transfer for me by me driving the car at least an hour and a half away from where I live just to expedite the transfer due to time constraints. They did a really good job in picking up the car in Arizona and delivering it right at my mom's doorstep in Hollywood, Florida.

Everything went well with Montway. The carrier communicated well. I had a good experience. I used Montway before and haven't used anyone other than them.

I wanted to go with a big company 'cause I know they've dealt with a lot of people and have reviews, and Montway had the best price I could find. Their communication was good too. They answered all my questions and kept me in contact. There were a few days where they didn't contact me but that was because the same person had the bike and they were still coming across country. But once they changed hands to the person that was gonna deliver it, he contacted me so that was good.

Montway was wonderful. I went through a few nightmares before I found them and they did everything they said they would do. They were able to schedule the transport in three days and by the fifth day, the vehicle was here. It went really fast. I had so many companies that did a bait and switch. They gave me a quote, and when they called, they raised it by $500. But Montway gave me a quote and stuck to it. The driver was also professional and courteous. It was fabulous.

Montway knows what they’re doing and listens to you. They understand what you need and give you a quote which is fairly reasonable compared to the market. This is a company that you can trust. I tried another company but I stuck with Montway because of the initial call. There was more care and I felt a bit more confident talking to the representative. I got a call from the driver regarding the pick-up time and date. I was able to hand over my car to the driver, and the car was delivered within the time range given to me. It was all smooth and there was no damage to the car.

The rep was good. The transport from Florida to Texas took 3 days and the communication with the driver was perfect.

Montway got pretty good service and it was quick for them to get a driver assigned. So, it was a pretty good experience. I was hoping that the driver would have called me in advance. I told him to call me in advance before arriving. He just arrived at another place and not to my house. There was some other place close by, and then he called me. Everything else was already fine. I would recommend Montway definitely. Pricing was the only thing that I was not really sure why it was that high. It could have been a little bit lower. They should have more aggressive pricing.

We were trying to figure out when they were going to come pick up my daughter's car and that turned into a last minute thing. It was hard to plan around as she was moving across the country. That made it stressful. Montway kept saying they would call us. When they told us they were ready, it was two or three days after the window. But the good news was the car got from Connecticut to California when we needed it to get there. They budgeted extra time.

Montway had really good reviews. Every time I had a question, their reps answered it promptly. So, I feel like they had good customer service. The transport took a few days overall, but it was reasonable. It was a good experience overall. I would recommend Montway.

It was great with Montway and I'd be happy to recommend them. They're super accessible. We originally scheduled the transport for one date. But that wasn't going to work for us and it was very easy to get in touch with them and reschedule it. They showed up when they said they were gonna show up and delivered the vehicle when they said they were going to deliver it. The driver was nice when we met him.

I needed to get my car to Vegas. I did a little bit of research and Montway was on the top 10, very reliable, and great prices. So, I came to my decision to stick with them. The guy I worked with was very helpful and he made sure I knew everything was already included in the price so there were no other fees by the time I was ready to pay up, which was great. I knew exactly what I needed and it was really unstressful knowing everything beforehand and having nothing really popping up. The price I was also not too expensive compared to other places and it was still a really good price. My car was picked up on a Friday and the suggested time for it to get here was Thursday, but it ended up getting here on the following Tuesday night. The driver was a pretty cool guy and when the car arrived, there were no scratches and it looked just as I had it in North Carolina.

I called three transport companies and went with Montway. They were the one that was recommended by a bunch of different guys. I went online then got a call and they gave me a rate. They said, “When you’re ready, give us a call,” and everything went from there. The driver was a day early during the delivery and my son picked the vehicle up. I'm very happy with Montway's customer service.

The Montway rep I dealt with was great. We talked to somebody on the mainland first, and then we talked to somebody in the Hawaiian office. His name was David and he was super helpful and knowledgeable, specifically regarding the Hawaii timelines. On the delivery, they let us know when the car was at the port in Lihue. Then we went and got it. They picked it up at our house and then took it to Long Beach, and then it went to Hawaii. It did arrive well within the five-day period of when the guy said it would be there. So, all that was perfect. We did already recommend Montway to a friend who had to get a car over there as well.

I was desperate for somebody to help me because the company that I had hired was not sending a driver out, and I had to get my car shipped to Florida. So, I contacted Montway. They were great. The person that I spoke with was extremely upfront like, “Hey, this is how much we charge. We are a little bit more, but I can guarantee that you will get a driver in two days.” That was exactly what happened. In fact, the driver was early and picked up my car, and I got my car less than a week later. It was in perfect condition other than dirty because it was transported on a truck. I knew that that was happening, so that was totally fine. They even met me at the car rental place because I had to return the car that I was renting. So, I didn't have to Uber back.

We had three vehicles to move out. We moved two with Montway then we drove one of the vehicles along with a U-Haul truck. Montway did a good job explaining how everything was going to happen, and it happened exactly like they said so we had a good experience with them. It was also a flat rate with Montway and the cost was a little bit cheaper than other carriers. After I got placed a contract with Montway, they said that the driver would contact within a day or two prior to the earliest date to do it. The driver called on time, as identified. He kept us apprised of where he was along the several days that it took to get out here so it was good communication. The driver also called about an hour before he got to the meeting point. We had to go out and meet during the delivery but that was mainly because the roads here are narrow and have weight limits. But the driver got as close as he could and that was two miles away.

Montway was wonderful from start to finish. I can't give them enough stars. They were incredibly communicative. They told me everything to expect and were here before I expected. The driver was incredibly pleasant and the dispatch lady that I worked with was wonderful too. I went with one company who grossly misrepresented everything that they said and I ended up having to switch. They called me about two months after I switched companies and I told them I was gonna get a lawyer if they kept calling me. I called Montway and explained the situation. I told them the other company lied to me blatantly and wouldn't release my contract. The rep said she was gonna take care of it for me. She called me back 15 minutes later, and within hours, she had somebody ready to pick up my cars on the date that I needed it. It was amazing.

The rep of Montway was really good. He called me a couple of days before pick up and drop off. We had some complications, but he worked them out pretty quickly. The street I lived on was too narrow for the driver to bring the 45-foot truck. We had to meet at a local store with a bigger parking lot. Everything else went super smooth. However, it was expensive for what it was. But it was better priced than several of the other places we looked at.

I enjoyed working with Montway very much. They have very good service and whatever time they told to pick up and deliver the car, they did on time. I like that. Their communication was great too. The first time I called, they talked very politely and friendly. They explained the service to me and how they work. I’ll recommend Montway. They are a very good company to transport a car. You can trust them.

The setup with Montway was good. Mike was a real nice guy. On this last transport from Salt Lake City to Evergreen, Colorado, there was a big problem. I was supposed to leave the hotel on a long journey home with my husband 'cause he can't fly with a collapsed lung. We had a goal of what time to leave but had a two-hour delay because this horrible thing happened. I was ready to start on the trip when I got a call from my friend. He said, "They want $400. They said you didn't pay at all," but I paid for the whole thing. I like to pay in full, even though it's more money. This way, whoever's picking up your car, all they have to do is sign off on it.

Everything was great. It took a week to get the car but that's the normal time from Florida to Washington State.

Montway shipped my Tesla over 2,000 miles and it was fantastic. Their customer service people were very serious and excellent. They gave me a reasonable quote and in the end, it was accurate too. The driver was timely in picking up the car and he was very courteous. There was a problem with the weather at that time so he was a bit late. It was a national problem on the way there to Louisiana and the roads were blocked. The driver was very responsible in calling and forewarning us about when he would be there for the delivery.

Montway shipped my car from San Francisco to Boston for $1,600. I can barely drive my car that distance for $1,600 so the value is unbelievable. The service I got from their contractor was even better. The courier was supposed to pick my car up on a Monday but they came a day early. I talked to the son and he let me know that they were going to be in town. This was Labor Day weekend. They gave me the cell number and I picked out a great spot to do the pick-up. Everything went according to plan. The car arrived and it was a little dirty but we took care of that with a carwash. The actual condition of the car was fine. I’m gonna use Montway again.

Our driver guy from Montway was fantastic. His communication was terrific. We're having a horrible situation with our actual possessions, but our auto deal with Montway was fantastic. We were trying to decide at the last minute whether we were going to drive or have the car shipped, and then decided we wanted to have the car shipped. I just did a bunch of research and Montway kept coming up in reviews. I called a couple companies and I liked the price for a guaranteed pickup date because we had to have the car at a certain time on the other end. We were leaving town, getting on a plane and we only have one car and we needed the car up to a certain date. Montway could guarantee within a narrower window and for a price that we were more comfortable with than the other two companies that I had called at the time. They both had sort of broader windows and higher prices for that guaranteed pickup date.

My son moved here from Michigan to South Carolina and he needed two trucks hauled. I picked Montway and I wanted to make sure something was secure before my son left Michigan to make sure that the vehicle got picked up and was being transported here. The truck driver that brought the vehicle was very efficient and did everything right. I appreciated how hard he worked to get the job done.

The process was quick and easy, and I didn't have to have any other involvement other than making the vehicle available. The transport was from San Antonio to Dallas, Fort Worth, and the carrier had it there within two days of picking the vehicle up. It didn’t take long, and communication with the driver was good.

It was clear, and the cost was excellent. During delivery, we had a friend there and it went perfectly. I definitely was impressed with the service. The type of transport vehicle that came and picked the car up was a huge, commercial-sized truck, and it was very impressive. It was secure, and I felt like the car was gonna be fine, and it was. We would totally use Montway again.

Montway responded to me in a timely manner and their price was good. Everything was very smooth. The driver was there on time and was in and out very quickly during the pickup. I had phone interactions with him as he was keeping me in touch as to where in the country he was because we were traveling from one side of the country to another. He narrowed down a timeframe when I could expect the delivery. I wasn't in a big rush but I wanted the car to be here safely. The driver was very receptive to my calls and inquiries. He was very courteous and trustworthy. I felt very comfortable with the transition. The equipment was very clean, safe, and that made me feel better also.

The driver was excellent. He called me and told me where he would be. I took the car there because he couldn't get into my neighborhood because it was too confining for a big tractor trailer. I met with him and he put the car on the truck. The same thing happened when he came down here to deliver the car. My son picked up the car and took it to his house. It was very easy to negotiate and work with Montway. The pricing was well within the range that I wanted to ship the car.

The rep was great. Also, when my car was transported from Maryland to California, it only took two days and the communication with the driver during pickup and delivery went well. I'd definitely use Montway again.

Montway was the easiest to deal with. They were very reliable. The guy that came took very good care of my Mercedes sports car. He made it easy to have the car delivered even though I wasn't there, and I was very pleased with the service.

Customer service was good and the quote was good enough for me to go with, but in hindsight, I learned it was too much. The service was fine, though. The driver loaded the cars on the truck, drove them out there and took them where they were supposed to. I followed them then we unloaded them.

I priced a lot of companies and a lot of them were as much as $1,000 beyond what Montway charged. I also looked at the reputations of these various companies and Montway is at the top in consumer satisfaction. I really enjoyed working with them. Although there was a little delay, it wasn't a problem because I wasn't on a time schedule to get the car up to where it was supposed to be delivered. I had to call a few times and that was okay. There are obviously issues with getting drivers in that period of time. There's still a shortage of truck drivers.

The driver was awesome. He picked up a day early, got the vehicles across the United States two days early and he was in constant contact and messaged me several times via text message. I gave Montway's name to a couple of friends of mine that are transporting motorcycles. I didn't have any issues.

Montway contacted me back very quickly from my initial inquiry on it. Once I spoke to the representative, they were able to give me a really good estimate of what the cost was going to be. The whole setup for the transfer was really quick and it included where the pickup was as well as the drop-off. It was just a matter of waiting till close to the transport date to see who the actual driver was going to be. I was also provided a quote for the service and it was exact.

My experience with Montway went very smoothly. So, I'm very happy. They gave me a fair and competitive price. Also, their customer service was excellent. The mover called me and told me they would be in late on Friday, and they wanted me to know if I wanted one of them to deliver it Friday night or wait till Saturday morning. I said, "Saturday morning would be better." He thought that was fabulous. He asked me what time and they showed up on time.

I checked with three transport facilities and Montway had a lower price. They were in the ballpark of what it would cost to run a truck from Arizona to Cheyenne, and what profit there was. I had a full load. So that’d helped dispel the expense. They were very informative and they kept me up-to-date on what was going on and where the truck was. They also kept the party on the other end informed as to where they were and how soon they'd be at the location to pick the truck up. So it was about as good as you could get. I got a call when the truck was on its way and it happened to be the last one on the transport. The driver had it off of there in a couple of minutes and away we went. So it was smooth all the way throughout the whole operation. Montway took care of me really well and they had a decent price.

Online, Montway told me they would contact me a few days before the driver would pick up the car. The driver texted me when he got there that he was there out front. I gave him my keys then he put the car on, secured it all and drove off. I got a confirmation email that he received the vehicle and it was on its way. Delivery was the same thing. A couple of days out, the driver said, “I'd be delivering at this date.” I gave him my contact information, who will be there to receive the car. The receiver said he came, unloaded the truck, and everything was fine. The driver also texted me and said the car was dropped off and all completed. Overall, it was an easy process. Montway was informative and it was a good experience.

Montway had the most reasonable rates. They gave me updates on where they were and how long it would be and told me when they would be there. It was good communication. The driver was really good.

The rep gave us confidence that everything would be handled exactly right. Everything worked well and the driver went over and above. He communicated multiple times during the transport. Montway seemed like a lot of money but then when I estimate it with Pods, it's probably more money with them than with Montway.

I was moving from New York to Florida and I went right to Montway. I've used them a couple of years ago when my son moved from New York to California and I was happy with them the first time, so I used them again. The rep I worked with was very good and the transport took two days. The driver went right to the home and delivered it to a friend of mine who lived down here.

Montway had reasonable pricing. Working with them was okay but when the car was delivered, there was a problem with the brake. That might be due to when the car was loaded onto the truck and they enabled the handbrake. Since this is a new car, the handbrake is a cosmetic version and doesn't have a physical handbrake. When the truck moves, the car will be forced to jerk even though the brake was enabled. That caused it to break. When I took the car to the repair shop, it cost me around $900 to fix the brake.

Montway was simple to use and I would 100% recommend them. They're reliable. The whole experience was simple. Their reps were informative throughout the process of when my car was gonna get picked up and when it got picked up.

We dropped the car off with the carrier in California and they were extremely expeditious. However, they came here quicker than anticipated, which created some issues, and we had to get a friend at the very last minute to meet them to pick the car up. With Montway though, I had no issues. There was a bit of confusion when I had everything set up ‘cause I already booked the transport and they were still sending me emails asking me to book it. Outside of that, it was seamless. I was a little worried but they did amazing. My car came as it was delivered and the price didn't change. It was good and I would do it again. I would recommend them as well.

Montway was efficient. Gentlemen that were driving, and I gave them the car. They came to pick up the car when they said they would and delivered it in three days, which I didn't expect it to be that fast. So it worked out better than I thought. At the other end, my daughter signed for it and everything worked out.

The car was transported but whatever position it was in, there’s been a lot of chipped paint on the vehicle. And it literally costs about $4,000 to paint a vehicle today, so it’s costing me more. Unfortunately, those prices have gone up due to COVID and I'm stuck paying the bill. Make sure your vehicle is covered.

They handled everything for me very good. I shipped with them before and everything also worked out very well back then. They did even a better job this time around. They were able to ship my car within a day for me. The only thing is after they shipped my car, they kept contacting me about shipping my car. So they should put it right that they already completed my shipment. But then finally somebody fixed it. As far as their pricing goes, they're pretty good. They're pretty equivalent to the market. But the thing is that their customer service and their reliability are very good. They are very accurate as far as contacting you and letting you know what time someone will pick up the car and giving you an ETA when your car will arrive too.

The service worked as intended and the car arrived undamaged. The driver was very prompt and nice to work with. He updated me when his truck ended up having an issue. He was on top of telling me what happened and when I should expect the vehicle. He arrived earlier despite the damage. I would work with this guy again. Even accounting for the amount I paid extra for the cargo, it was a fair price that I paid.

I liked Montway and the customer service. I liked the entire interaction with them. The initial quote was quite a bit higher than the other company that I checked. But I was worried with the other company that I was getting a cut rate and I wasn't gonna get the service. So I went with Montway. It ended up being about $200 higher. But Montway let me put in some stuff into the car, and they didn't charge me extra for any excess weight. So the quote was good and the end bill was the same.

Communication with the driver through texts and calls was pretty good. Setting up the move with the rep was straightforward.

Everything worked very quickly and smoothly. I would like the quote to be lower, but it was fine. It was accurate. However, it turned out Montway was a broker for other people. So I didn't do that much with Montway directly. But I didn't end up paying more money to the people transporting the car. So, there were no surprises.

I talked to somebody and he told me that Montway could pick up the car in Texas but I said I wasn't quite available yet because I didn't have the title transferred. But Montway was patient with me. Then I talked to somebody and got the quote and things went fine. The final price was exactly what they said it would be. The delivery guys came right to the house and unloaded the car across the street. I was very pleased with it. They were cordial and everything was fine.

The service and communication were awesome. I'll recommend Montway and tell friends that it’s a good service.

Montway's price was the best. The only problem I had was little communication if the driver was coming and the window. He said, “I should be there at 6:00," but it wound up being 9:00. There was no call, so we didn't know if he was coming. But after that, we got it right and it was good.

I used Montway before and I was satisfied with that service, so I called it again. The rep was very upfront. And the contract was made easy. Montway is a reliable business. I feel comfortable and confident that I'm going to be treated fair and honestly.

Once I spoke with the company, I had a driver in the area that was heading to Washington and he was able to get the car there in a couple of days. The driver was from Spokane and he said if my son could get a ride over to Spokane to pick the car up, then he would take $100 off. My son had one of his roommates drive him over and picked the car up. If not, it would have been an extra day. They were going to have to put the car on a smaller one and bring it over. This is the first time I've used a company to do a transport and it was perfect. The quote was completely accurate and the cost was about where it should be when it comes to doing something like that. It was definitely reasonable for the service. I’ll be using Montway when my son graduates to bring the car back too.

I only got two prices. I would shop around a little bit more. Perhaps I could have done better. But everything turned out all right. The gentleman who took the car was easy to deal with.

I had a car transported from North Carolina to California, and it took seven days. I didn't have communication with the driver but my son who was on the receiving end did, and it was satisfactory. All in all, Montway is easy to deal with.

The final price was accurate and they delivered the car really quick. When they were delivering the car, they texted me in advance and we talked about a meet-up spot. It was right next to a parking lot by a market across the street from my apartment building. So it was very convenient. Montway was great. I would definitely use them again.

It was good service overall. They had a good response time. The driver was prompt, had good mannerism, and did a good job overall. The time he told me he would get there, he got there. The same thing with the delivery time. Also, the price was the same one Montway quoted from the beginning. I appreciated that.

Montway is the company that transferred my car and I was happy with the service. They dropped off my car from California to Florida. It was good because they gave me, every day, an update. The driver was calling me, trying to make it happen at the time that I was able to receive him. Overall, my experience with Montway was positive and I would recommend that, especially now that there are many companies that not meeting expectations. In this case, it went beyond. I was surprised that I didn't have any problem, and everything was very smooth.

I received emails asking me if I wanted to continue with my quote with Montway, and when I was ready, I called them and talked with a guy who was nice. He answered my questions very clearly, and I didn't have to worry about what was gonna happen. I told him I wasn't quite ready to set everything up yet, and then when I was able to, I called him back directly. We got everything set up, and it was great.

Montway's contractor notified me 30 minutes prior to them showing up. Once they showed up, the driver asked me to back the truck into the street. He examined the truck, loaded it on the truck and off it went. They picked it up on a Tuesday and delivered it Saturday. So it took five days. It was seamless. The car was just super dirty. But that is part of the nature of going through different weather and 2,000 miles away.

My case was a bit difficult. I shipped a vehicle and some wheels along with it. I tried other companies but most of them said, "Oh, I don't know how much we're gonna cost you the wheels. I'll come back to you." But as soon as I told Montway, "I have four wheels that's going to come with the car. It's not going to be in. It's going to be separate. How much are you going to charge me?", they said, "Okay. 50 bucks per wheel. So that's going to be $200." Which is good. If I'm gonna go with someone, I want some concrete estimates.

I had a pretty good experience. It was easy and fast. The driver got the vehicle out the trailer really quick and easy. He was nice too.

Montway saved me. I had a place lined up that totally fell through and left my car sitting in Wisconsin. When I called Montway, they set up a date. They were there then they delivered on the day they said, and we had communication throughout. The cost was very competitive as well. They were $50 less than the first company I had contracted with, and I was very surprised. Overall, people need to be sure that they have a company that they can communicate with. If they can't get ahold of them, there's a reason and they're not going to be able to get ahold of them when they need to. I felt safe with this company all the way through and they pleased me in every way.

All of the process informing me along the way was good. So, I know when the car has to be ready. And the driver is always very nice. I'm confident. If we need another one, we will use the service again.

My husband's assistant did the research and looked at the different reviews about on-time performance. Everybody said that Montway was highly rated so we went with them and had the transport scheduled. There was going to be a window of two or three days for our timeframe from when we signed the contract. We said we wanted to be on the first but we got pushed back by a couple of extra days. The driver was really nice. The only issue was he was supposed to come earlier in the day to pick up the car. But he had put his truck into maintenance that day and it took longer than he anticipated. He didn't get there until 10 o'clock at night. But he did deliver the car on time. He did say when he was going to be there and he was there to drop it off to my son up in Flagstaff. The car was fine.

Montway picked up and dropped off when they said they were going to, and the vehicle was fine. The car was delivered to Los Angeles. Just getting around Los Angeles is difficult for anybody and we were going back and forth with one another on the phone, trying to find a meeting place where the truck would fit. I could always get them, so communication was good.

Montway did a great job. It was nice and easy working with them. I was able to book quickly online. The driver was on time and communicated both at the pick-up and the drop-off. He communicated clearly, which was nice.

The transport was from Pompano Beach, Florida to Elon, North Carolina. It was a good experience. The driver was awesome.

We were moving from the East Coast to the Bay Area. Initially, we were going to be in Berkeley, and then decided on Alameda. We needed a car here, so I thought, “All right, I got to transport my car out here.” I called Montway and said, “I need to move quickly.” They were able to say, “Oh, yeah, we can come and get your car in a day or two, and be able to take it when you need it.” It took three days before they planned to get here and they gave a heads up when they were going to be here via text, which I like. It’s much better than calls. The driver, along the way, texted too. It was really easy and a great process, and my car was delivered in time and came perfect. I wish they would have moved our furniture too. Overall, Montway was fabulous. They were very good at communicating back.

Montway picked up the car right away. I was quoted a price for an open trailer and it ended up being a closed trailer, so that was very nice. It kept my car nice and clean and I got a great deal. I'm very happy. Also, communication was excellent. I talked to the driver four times and he was right on time.

I would message the driver and they would call me if we needed more information. I talked with the driver to figure out exactly where we wanted the car delivered because the truck wouldn't be able to go directly into the neighborhood. It was pretty good communication. Everything went pretty smoothly. It was like the earliest estimated day that it arrived. I liked that. It was dirty on the outside but there were no damages. The people that came to pick up the car were also very helpful. They helped explain everything very well.

We set a time sort of tentatively, probably three or four weeks at least in advance but then as the time got closer, I called to confirm everything’s on schedule, and it was. So, it was all good.

Montway gave me the cheapest quote and the shortest time for transporting my vehicle. The person who picked up my car from the driver said that he was really nice and did a really good job. So, it made me feel better about knowing that they were going to get my car where I needed it. The car was a little bit late, but my dispatcher had a flat tire issue so it wasn't really their fault. They just could have a little bit more communication with that. But I enjoyed working with Montway a lot.

The driver was awesome. He came to my place of business and gave me his personal cellphone number in case I had any changes or questions. It was perfect.

But when they were loading the vehicle, it was somewhat risky from what we saw. Because we record everything, and seeing the vehicle go so close to the ledge and they did not do anything to stop it, and them just eyeballed it, that was the only thing that I was wary of. I was surprised that they didn't have a stopper for it. Other than that, I would recommend Montway and they're good to work with.

I had a good experience with the reps. I had some questions at first when I was getting pricing and then they followed up. They had the best pricing for me. With the original quote, the final price was plus or minus $50. Montway asked if I wanted the drivers to drop the vehicle off or if I would go pick it up from their office. I picked it up and it was the same as when I gave it to them.

Everything worked out very nicely with Montway. It seemed to be a better fit for some reason. There were a couple of companies that were much more expensive and there were a couple that were cheaper. I just didn’t seem to have any confidence in the cheaper one. Montway's service was good and it was reasonably priced. I shipped a Mercedes convertible. Their customer service team seemed to know what they were doing.

At first, I decided on a family-owned company in Florida that the price was under 1,000 and they kept me hanging until finally, they just said, “Sorry. They moved the car over here where we're at in two and a half days. They picked it up on a Friday in California, and delivered it to Tennessee on Monday morning. I really didn't even need to talk to the driver because it was only two days. He just called me up Monday morning and said, "I'm here. Where should I set the car down?" I wasn't out here and I told him who to see. He saw that person, and they unloaded. I would use Montway again if needed.

The rep was very cool. I reached out to him 'cause I hadn't heard anything back for a while. It was that same day that I reached out that somebody accepted the contract. So, I reached out to the driver. He stayed in contact with me the whole way up until he got to me and called when he was outside. When he was loading the car, his attention to detail was pretty good. The quote was pretty accurate and it was a fair price for the distance that was driven and the service that was provided. My vehicle was at the destination pretty quickly within three days. It was a very pleasant experience with the driver. He reached out to me when he got to Virginia and he said my mom was very appreciative of the car. There was no damage or anything caused during the transport. So I was very thankful for that.

I have used Montway in the past for a dealer and because I have experience with them, I knew they quote higher and there's a little room to negotiate. I was relocating, and I got 400 cheaper than the original quote from them. The rep was very great and the carrier driver was awesome. He picked up in a timely manner and helped with a flat that was unexpected. During delivery, he called 20 minutes prior and said he would be pulling up shortly then we unloaded all the vehicles one by one. He drove them into the driveway and handed over the keys. He was very professional and polite, and it was very easy. We're very happy with the whole transaction. I also did a Google review and gave them a 5 star.

We live close to the port, so we dropped the car off ourselves and I had to pick it up at the port in Honolulu too. One time we had to wait long because that was the last day they could ship all the cars out. It was full of people that wanted to ship their cars, so there was a longer wait. Otherwise, the pickup and delivery were straightforward. It was quicker because we already did all the paperwork with Montway. Alas, some people shipped straight and they had to do a lot of paperwork while they were there. Our end was much smoother. The guy just called our name and gave our car. Also, customer service is great. They were responsive and friendly. One of the guys in moved himself from Europe to here, so he understood what we were going through and gave personable support.

When I spoke to their rep, I liked the way he talked to me because I had talked to several between moving companies and then the car stuff. Montway had a good reputation from what I read online. They didn't promise me a bunch of junk and they also didn't threaten me saying, “You better do it now. You better set it up now, because if you don't, you're not gonna be able to have your car down there when you want it.” Montway was the only one who didn't push and threaten me. I also booked my son's truck through Montway. He had a great experience. I, on the other hand, did not. The guy they sent to pick up my car damaged the back of it, and I was not happy at all. It looks like he scratched the hell out of the back bumper with something. I was thinking, “They're gonna make me pay my $500 deductible.” I don't have $500. I never made a claim because of that.

I went to Montway's website, got a quote with the mileage and my type of vehicle, and they gave me a reasonable automated quote so I called the 1- 800 number. They connected me with a driver, and the driver reached out to me when they were ready to give me a date of car pickup. The whole process was smooth, and they picked up the car and delivered it in a day. They were really efficient. Montway answered their phones and I didn't get connected to a customer service call center. It's very personalized service. I would definitely use them again.

The driver at the pickup site introduced himself, gave us an idea on how he would put the vehicle on the carrier and how many days it would take to get across-country. He called an hour before arrival and asked where an appropriate place was. We gave him an address. He showed up. At the pickup site, he took pictures of all sides of the car. And that, I could understand. He then suggested that I take a look upon arrival. I did. No damage. He brought the car down and that was it. It was a very clean, quick operation. We were interested in the insurance aspect of it if something was to happen while in transit. And we got that resolved. I talked to a personal insurance carrier on the vehicle. That worked out well. But everything else was as smooth as it could be. It was very brief and to the point. It was very cordial and things got done nicely.

I had another one done about four years ago and it was successful. Customer service was great. I was considering Matson or Horizon, but they would only ship to Long Beach. Montway shipped all the way straight to Pennsylvania so I chose them over the other companies. My experience was good for the most part. The only thing was I got a text message saying that my car arrived in Honolulu. That made me question what was going on. The car was supposed to be shipped from Honolulu to Pennsylvania. The whole process took about a month and the driver contacted me once they were in Washington DC. On the whole, the car was in the same condition that I sent it off.

But there was an adjacent street that was circular so, it was easy for them to come in and out. I moved from Massachusetts to Minnesota, and Michigan to California, and I used them because they are very helpful. They follow up whenever they assigned the driver and the driver showed up. The driver was very helpful as well. He kept me updated whenever he's around the area. This time there was a little bit delay. He said, "Oh, I'll come today evening." But he said, "Oh, I'm going to some other place. I'll drop one car." It's expected. They are driving multiple cars. Montway has the best price so far I have seen. And that's why I choose them. Because I'm a student and it makes a big difference - $100, $200 savings. It would be also nice if they give some more discount because I'm a returning customer. Go for it.

I had a few companies that were $200 to $300 less, but I was willing to go with Montway because it seemed like everyone said that they didn't change the prices on people. Or hold vehicles hostage. I got an email explaining that the driver had been dispatched, and I got a text that day from the driver. I got a text three days before the earliest date, letting me know the tentative date. And I got a text the day before. We also had a phone call the night before and the day of as the driver was coming up to pick up. He called in the morning when he was on the way, said, “I'll be there in this many minutes.” He showed up. We walked around the car and inspected it. And he had me sign the forms and loaded up on the flatbed and he was gone. It was done in five to 10 minutes. The transportation was supposed to take anywhere from 7 to 10 days. The driver made the trip, from California to North Carolina, in four days. So it was ahead of time, which is great.

The pickup and delivery went very well and better than I could have imagined. The driver picked up the vehicle from my yard in Florida and he was very personable. He drove it all the way to Oregon and I felt so safe that the car was going to get there fine. Then someone drove it from the shop to my house. Everybody was very friendly and they answered my questions. I felt the biggest stress of my move was figuring out how to get my car across the country and it was the personal connection that really alleviated my worries.

Signing up and communicating with the driver went smoothly. Many websites require you to create an account, and then you'd have a centralized dashboard where you would do stuff. Montway didn't have that which was a little weird but it wasn't an issue. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

When I called Montway to book the service, the man I spoke with was great, answered my questions, and got me all set up the same day. That part of the process was smooth but I had some frustrations later on. They said most vehicles get picked up within a five-day window. I asked what happens if they don't get picked up in that window and the person I spoke with on the phone was absolutely adamant that all vehicles will be picked up within a five-day window. I took them on their word with that. But my vehicle was not picked up before I got on my plane to move. I called customer service many times and they kept assuring me that it was gonna get picked up but it took quite a while for my vehicle to get picked up. Everyone was nice but they didn't deliver on their promises to me. If they had been more explicit up front, I would have made different decisions about dates and things.

Montway Auto Transport responded quickly when we called. We talked to a person who had a local number in Chicago, said he would put it together. He gave us somewhere in the middle of the price. There was some guy higher, and there were two guys lower. But this guy seemed like he had it together. We figured we would give Montway a run.

I got a hold of a person on the phone that was a live person and was able to answer all my questions. She gave me peace of mind that they would take good care of us. Also, I looked at Better Business Bureau ratings and saw that Montway was quite high-rated. I placed my order and very quickly, I got a communication from them via email and text message confirming my order. There were clear instructions on both ports and so there were no surprises when we got to the drop off in terms of how the car had to be prepared.

The move took a week but it was perfect. I told them that it had to be there between these three days, and it landed perfectly right in the middle of it. So it was great. The communication with the driver was really good. The quote did not change. I'll probably end up using Montway again in December.

It's challenging when you're hiring through Montway. As a consumer, Montway is who you do business with but then you have these independent contractors. It seemed like a little bit of poor communication. The pick-up of our first vehicle was stressful. We didn't get a lot of updates about what to expect and it was a little nerve-racking. I called one morning for an update because we were moving and the car needed to be picked up while we were there to give the car but we were told there was no update. But a few hours later, at noon, I got a text, then an email, and then a call that said they would be arriving at 2:00. It was frustrating that we didn't have enough of a heads-up. It didn't leave us much time to make sure that everything we wanted to have in the car was in there.

Montway was communicative and they walked me through the process. I did Phoenix to Montgomery and I had a timeframe because I had a flight. I was taking my daughter to school and we were landing and so I needed the car to be there on the same timeframe. It worked out really well. The driver and I were texting back and forth. He had an initial request and I wasn't going to land until the next day. So, he was able to work things out on his end.
