Montway Auto Transport Reviews

Montway is great, professional, easy to communicate with, and accommodating. The quote is what it is and they don't overcharge. They don't change what the cost is and there's nothing hidden. They're not the cheapest on the block but with them, you're gonna get what you signed up for. The last time I used them, the transport was quick which took five days.

I got a quote from a couple of other companies and they were a little more. But I thought, "Okay. This is little less. But do you get less or more?" And I was 100% happy. Montway is one of the best companies that I have dealt with. They are the most efficient. From one point to the other, it went perfect. The driver is superior. If I move a vehicle back to Chicago, I will look for the same company if I can get the same driver. Their efficiency is 100%.

Montway was great and our driver was wonderful. His name was Thomas. We wanted our auto transported the week of Thanksgiving. Someone was supposed to come the 22nd, on Monday, and Thomas called and said he could pick it up Saturday, the 20th, which was even better for us. He was prompt and took his time to load it. I was impressed watching him, how he lined it up on the transport and anchored it. He left Saturday afternoon and by Monday afternoon, he delivered it to our friends in Fort Myers. They received it, and there was no issue there at all. We were very happy. I paid for an extra 100 lbs. At first, I was confused. It said one 100 lb. piece of luggage. But I called and spoke to someone, and they verified I could have up to 100 lbs., no charge. It could be in several pieces of luggage.

Montway's communication throughout the transport was exactly as expected. Kept posted up progress as we've been led to believe it would be.

Montway's price was reasonable and I liked the incentive that they offered when it came to protection of my vehicle and making sure it got here safe. The whole transport took about three days and I communicated with the driver pretty much every day. He was really nice and he allowed me to text him. I allowed him to text me back and forth about the vehicle’s starting point and midway, and when it got here. He also contacted me hours before the delivery letting me know he was about 10 minutes down the road. I was waiting outside when he got here then he pulled up on the opposite side of the road, which was enough room to get the truck off the transport. At the time, my battery was low so he had to jump it. Then he drove it off the truck.

Everything went very positively. I got my Bentley safely down to Florida. The only thing was that I never got to work with one person through the whole thing. Every time I had a question, I would get routed to another person. But being somebody that has had a number of my own businesses, I like the idea of being able to work with one individual. Other than that, I would recommend Montway and I would work with them again.

I used Montway back in October to move a car from Auburn Hills, Michigan, down here to Lakeland, Florida. Then, I used them again when wanted to take one of my other cars and move that over to a Lake Worth Florida, where I'm moving to. They were very professional and very fast. Their rep went through everything. I told him he didn't have to go through it because I've shipped many cars before, so I understood the process. But he still went through what the expectations were, what you could expect, and how we'd coordinate.

Everybody was professional and did a good job. The guy who set up the transport was very responsive. At one point, I needed to get in touch with the driver. They gave me his cell number, and I was able to reach out to him. The driver was prompt on his communication. He left on a weekend then told me that based off his estimated time, the delivery extended one day. I wasn't in a rush and the delivery was within the expected time that Montway had given me, which was 5 to 10 days.

Montway was great. And the guy that dropped the car off was a super nice guy. He even called me and right when something small happened, that he would just be a few hours late, which he didn’t have to do. But the communication was good. That was the first time I've ever had someone bring a car to me. Right to my front door. I couldn't believe it. And if I ever go somewhere again, I will do that. That was much easier.

Montway's reps were excellent. They gave me a quote and that's what I paid. I'd tell others to use Montway.

The rep asked me what I wanted in terms of a close transport and when I needed it. And they found somebody. The transport took two weeks. I didn't have any interaction with the driver until the end, about three days before he arrived. And that was just scheduling the time and place. I met him at a nearby Home Depot parking lot. He backed the car off of the truck. We inspected the car, he inspected the car, I signed off on something, and I drove it home. Montway's quote was very accurate and comparable to the quotes I got from other services. I had a favorable experience.

I liked that Montway gave quotes right away and the quotes were fair. The other company I contacted had similar quotes, so I knew their rates were competitive. Everything also happened as expected, which was good. I was there for the pickup and it was very quick. I was just handing over the check and paperwork, and I didn’t even have to stay around, but I stayed to watch the driver load the car.

Whenever I called Montway, I got a person and they knew who I was. They also knew my car and my destination. I've dealt with other companies that you never got the same person, and they couldn't solve a problem when there was a problem. So, I'm very happy with Montway. It was good connection and they were door to door. They told us how long the transport was gonna take and that we could always reach the person that came and picked up the car. Everything went smoothly.

We had very good experiences with the gentleman that picked up the car and all of the people that we talked to. They picked up on the Sunday, they called me the Monday evening, the car was delivered on the Tuesday morning. It was very quick. The driver was courteous when I dropped the car off for him. I lived in a gated community and I took the car to the gate and he was there. He welcomed me very well and took the car and told me where the car was. I asked him how many days, he said two. I said, “Do you normally drop the car?” “Yeah.” He told me he would be the one dropping the car off there. And he would call my son and tell him when the car was there, and everything was delivered on time. My son received it, checked it, and everything was still in good condition. They received everything. Everything went well. That was a very good experience.

I had used Montway a few years ago and it was quick. Montway’s drivers got one of the vehicles here in five days, and one took seven days. So I was very satisfied. The drivers were great. They stayed in touch and let me know where they were at. It went really good.

Montway did a really good job. They're very communicative. I can call them right away and somebody's always there to answer. It was the same thing with the driver. He gave me his personal number. He was updating me, and I didn't even have ask for it. I just had a couple of questions, and he was really on top of things. On top of that, he was ahead of schedule.

Montway called me to keep me updated. And the car was delivered within seven days. It was accurate to the penny on the final. They were a little high. But they got the job done, where the guy that quoted less didn't get the job done.

I had an antique vehicle in New Jersey that I need to be shipped to Florida. I needed an enclosure. Because the vehicle had no brakes and the vehicle was inoperable. I got photographs of some people who were there. And I saw the trailer enclosure that they had and the security of it, so I was happy. Montway kept me updated and gave me an hour out heads up where the driver was, and did a good job getting it into the garage for me. The guy helped me push the thing up the driveway. It was very efficient. They did a good job. I'd recommend Montway to anybody who reached out and needed some suggestions.

I had a seamless experience with Montway. There was a little delay, but that was to be expected sometimes given the weather. It was a huge transport and it was cross-country. They kind of put my mind at ease. It was an experience watching them load the car into the truck. I was thinking about them having to go through the Rocky Mountains. It's a big truck and it's got a lot of cars on it. You just pray that everything goes right. But they met my expectations on the pickup side and on the drop-off side as well.

It was a really good experience having Montway. From the beginning, I said what I wanted and the dates for my car to be pick up and deliver. Even though the pick-up date was late for one day, it didn't impact the delivery date. It was delivered on time and the car didn't suffer any damage. Whenever I wanted to check on my car, I would contact Montway or the transporter and they would tell me their location. Even if they ran into any obstacles, they would always answer to me.

The rep was really nice and relaxed. When he got here, he was pretty straightforward. The payment option was a little different because I thought I was gonna be able to pay it all in cash but I had to put the rest on credit. But it was fine. They told me the transport was gonna take about two weeks, but the car got here in five days. So that was pretty impressive. The driver also gave me some updates on how far he was or how I was going to meet him to where he wanted to drop it off. A day before he even got there, he wanted to know the details on where to go and where to come. On the day, he called me a few hours in advance to let me know he was coming.

Montway told me what time the courier would pick up the vehicle, who was there on time and they got my vehicle to its destination safely with no issues. I was impressed and very happy. It was a quick service. It was good for my needs because I didn't need to spend a lot of time conversing with them. They just got the job done and I had no problems. If I knew anybody who needs the service, I would let them know they need to go Montway.

Montway transported a brand-new vehicle I bought from Oklahoma to New York. Everything went really smooth. They did everything they said they were gonna do. The price was good, too. I would recommend and use them again.

They were good through the whole thing. I told them what I needed and stressed it, and they complied. They did what they needed to do, and everything was fine. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The car went from California to South Carolina, so it was almost a cross-country trip. Everything went really well. I had no issues meeting with the drivers, the dropping the car off and picking it up. But we ran into some difficulty in terms of their big trucks. They were carrying a lot of cars, so they didn't always have the ability to get to exactly where my car was. When I dropped it off, I met with the driver at a location that was convenient for them. But the communication was good. The same thing happened with picking it up. They weren't exactly able to drop the car off at my address because of the access with a big truck. So it was one of those things where I met them at a convenient location nearby. But the interactions were pretty good.

Everything worked out very well with Montway. The process was very simple and easy. The driver met me not far from my house, where we had big lot, so he was able to put the car on the truck. It was pouring rain and he was very respectful to the fact that it was pouring in cold and I was getting wet. He said I should stay in the car and not to worry about anything as he'd take care of it. And when he was here, he met with my daughter because we weren't here yet. My daughter met him and picked up the car. Then, we transferred and gave the money that we had to give him. As for the car, there wasn't anything wrong with it and it was in perfect shape when it arrived. I would tell others to give them a call and try them.

Montway gave me a good estimate. Also, they were prompt. The courier picked the car up on a Tuesday, and I got it on a Friday.

Montway was about $100 cheaper than some of the larger names. I gave them a call and they were out of Schaumburg, Illinois. So with the price and them being local state fellows, it was a no-brainer. When the driver picked up the car, he took a lot of pictures and he was very polite. It was really pretty easy transition. The car came perfectly, exactly as it was in Florida. I was very happy with it.

The communication with the driver was good. He informed us as he was driving across country. We were very satisfied.

Setting up the move worked well. The driver was very conscientious. He took tons of pictures of the car, just to make sure that there was no damage. Took his time tying the car down. So, he did a great job. Nice young guy. We’re looking at a car right now in Portland, Oregon, and we live in Minneapolis. So, I may very well call Montway again to transfer that car.

I called Montway, gave them a date that I wanted the vehicle picked up, and the courier was there. And they delivered the vehicle sooner than I thought they would. The price was quite high, but I was very satisfied with the service.

We have used Montway and we were satisfied, and that's why we used them a second time. Their drivers are polite and efficient. They take pictures and do anything we ask. They called on the way. They dropped the car off close to our home. Everything was wonderful. We would highly recommend them anytime. And we would do it again.

Montway picked up and dropped off my car on time and as expected, I got a notification where the car was and when it was going to be delivered. The quote they gave me was exact and overall, they provided me with great service. I'd recommend them.

The contractors that were used by Montway were really responsive and they called back. They were very nice each time that they reached out to us. The driver that came and did the pickup was so amazingly kind and helpful. Montway's client service was okay. As far as the quote and pricing, it was as expected. Everything was wonderful and we really appreciated it.

The rep was very nice. At first, the quote was high, but then he said he got a discount for that. So I got a good discount on it. I was willing to pay $1,100 if I had to. But I paid under $900. The driver was real nice too. He stayed in touch with me and he was on point. I'll use Montway anytime because they get the job done.

I had an excellent situation with Montway. They're worth a lot of money and I would use them again. Everything they did was timely. I kind of picked the time and they were right on time. They contracted it out and when they picked up my car in Naples, Florida, the driver had a little trouble with his vehicle. But we got my car on, they took off and said it would be here at a certain day. It was not only here, but it was in my driveway. I don't know how he got up the hill. I thought he would go to the truck stop and I’d meet him there. We had a hard time communicating but he was very nice and professional. They're very careful too. He took pictures galore before he loaded the car. When he unloaded, he went around and took more pictures.

Everything went perfectly fine with Montway. They were very responsive every time we needed a question answered. We would have liked the cost to have been a little cheaper, but it saved us a trip to Washington.

They gave me a lot of detail in emails explaining the whole process about the pickup, the drop off, and the whole process. For the most part, they were able to answer any questions I had and they were almost dead-on with the quote to the cost. Also, we worked well with the driver in loading and unloading the vehicle. He called me almost every other day, letting me know the progress on his trip and when it came to drop off the vehicle, he gave us a nice location that was very open. They transported the vehicle really well for an open carrier. It was a very stress-free experience.

My car was picked up and I tried to contact them to see where my car was but I couldn't get hold of anyone. I asked someone from the company to call their driver and they cannot get ahold of the driver. They said they cannot talk to him because he doesn’t speak English. That part is fine but there should be a way of communication with the driver always. I asked for the phone number of the driver, who was a very nice person, and my wife, who speaks Spanish, reached out to him. He was able to give a time when the car was gonna be delivered.

The car looked pretty much the way Montway showed it to me on the video, so it was good. Everything was on the money.

Montway was a good service for what we needed. We had a death in the family and needed to transport a vehicle to Texas. This was an 18-24 hours drive. The driver texted me and called whenever he need to. Montway's overall process was smooth and fabulous. The cost was within reason too.

Montway was prompt. I called them on Wednesday, they got my car picked up on a Thursday and then, they came two days later. The transport went really smoothly. The driver called and let me know when they were picking up the vehicle. They called me and told me an approximate time that they will give it to me. Then when they were running late, they called hours before the time they initially gave me, and told me it’ll be two hours past that. They came on time. It was cool to pay the deposit upfront and pay the balance in cash because it was cheaper than paying everything by card online.

They were very clear about the cost and pickup dates and they were very helpful. I didn't have a firm date at the time because I was still working the deal and I was just doing preliminary work. So they gave me a range that I could get in touch with them and they could make it happen. I talked to the driver before he headed down this way and he informed me that he had a couple of stops to make on the way down. Because of that, I changed my location for him to unload the car and it worked fine for him. He was very meticulous with the automobile. When he set it on the ground, he got out his camera and took pictures of the odometer and the entire body of the car. It was pretty fair business.

The pick-up and delivery was very smooth and the driver kept in good contact with me. Compared to everything else that I looked up, the service seemed reasonably priced and fair and considering how successful it went, it was a good price.

My experience was super easy, so it was amazing. The driver and I called or texted a couple of times to see where it would be easiest for him to meet up with me depending on the area, and things went well. The cost was a bit expensive, but Montway was great.

The Montway rep I spoke to was fast, efficient and to the point. The driver called a couple of days before he picked up the car. He called me when he picked up the car. He called me when he was on his way. Then he called me, about three hours prior to delivery. So, it was really nice to be kept up to speed on what was happening. Overall, Montway's communication was stellar, and that’s not typical in today's world. So, that was the standout for me. It was a good value, too, at a very fair price. It was a really great experience all around.

Our pan on the van was cracked when it was delivered. So they didn't handle the wheelchair van properly and we had to replace that. So $2,000 later, I wasn't too happy. But I was happy with the guys who picked it up. They were very nice. But I don't think they knew what they were dealing with a wheelchair van and the support system underneath. According to the dealership, it must have hit hard when it came off. So I would not recommend Montway with a special vehicle.

Setting up with Montway was fast and they were not very aggressive like the other people that I talked to. I gave the situation that I needed the vehicle before my daughter's birthday, and they made it happen. I told them that the Audi might not be available but the rep said not to worry and that they could find another driver if it didn't happen. The driver went to Audi and my daughter's boyfriend met him. He was very courteous. Montway accommodated me well and came two days earlier, which was perfect. I hope their prices are cheaper though because I need another transport.

The move from Florida to Ohia ended up being two days which was much faster than I expected. Customer service was very responsive.

Once I booked the transport, everything was self-explanatory. The only thing that would be better was if Montway would say approximately how they were finding the driver, because I wasn't sure what was happening. The rest was good. The guy who was delivering the car was very nice. Before the pick-up, he called and then once he was picking up the car as well. The transport was from Los Angeles to Chicago, and the driver got the car on Thursday and delivered on Sunday. I enjoyed it because I was expecting it to be longer but he got here faster.

Everything was smooth. And my expectations were met. The driver was very responsive. I'm highly impressed with Montway. I would refer them.

I had a communication issue with the driver. The guy was nice, but he didn't speak any English. He got the job done, though, and he did a good job.

The customer service rep was good and so were the gentlemen that I met when I dropped both cars off to them. They handled it and told me ahead about how long it would take, and did just that. They were delivered a little early, which was a good thing. It created a bit of a ruckus, but that's okay. The move was quoted and the cost was exactly what Montway said.

I liked Montways' price. The rep was responsive. The quote was accurate. I had two cars shipped. The first one was very prompt. The second one was a little worse. It was a guaranteed day pick-up because we needed to fly out. They just had a local driver, they put it in storage, and it sat there for over a week before somebody could pick it up. I had to direct them to use the same driver that did my first car because they were very good and they happened to be in the area. So, they did that, but it was after a few phone calls that I had to make. The delivery was great. The actual drivers were great. We took a 10-minute drive to a Home Depot just because the residential areas had some low-hanging trees. So, they didn't want to risk damaging the cars. That's fine. That's normal. They took good care of the car and they were very responsive. So, overall, I was very happy. I would recommend Montway.

It was straightforward with the rep at Montway. I explained from and to where the transport was and what vehicle, and he gave me a quote right away. It was $30 cheaper than the other places that I got a quote from. He answered my questions regarding having stuff inside the car. I met the driver near my apartment complex. He went to where I asked him to pick up the car. We had a lot of stuff in the car and he was fine with it.

In a day, my car got to where it needed to be without any damage. The movers called the day before to make sure we're still on schedule. They gave a timeframe and the driver showed up in that timeframe. He hitched my car up and three days later, he called saying he has confirmed the address that it needed to be delivered to. He parked the car inside the garage which was exactly what I asked for. The price was upfront and there were no surprise charges. I couldn't have asked for more. It worked great. I will most likely use them again. They did the move in a reasonable time for a reasonable price.

The Montway reps were good. They were very professional, and I did not have many questions. Also, the person who shipped us called us to confirm our address then when he was heading towards our apartment, he called us to give us a heads up. He stopped at the place where we asked him to and the delivery was smooth. Before we reached the downstairs, he already put our car down from the crane. He was a really friendly and nice guy. So it was a great experience.

The reps at Montway were very helpful and the driver was great. He was on time to pick the vehicle up and early on delivery. I was very happy about that. It was a perfect transportation.

I found Montway easy to work with. They were responsive to a fluid situation around dates. Because my son was moving, he had a lease that started at a certain date. He wouldn't have access to that property until that date, as you do when you rent a house. But he had no transportation down there until then, and he couldn't get down there early. So honing in on a date for the car to arrive was challenging. Montway needs a window of time. Because it's a long trip and there are lots of variables. And whoever they worked wanted to go with a full truck. So, narrowing that down was tricky. They just took that in stride. It was like, “Okay, so we'll back this off, and we'll do it this date.” They had it all under control. They reps would get answers to every question. I flew down with my son. And it was within 48 hours that we were there and the car arrived. So that's good. We had a rental car in the interim. And that worked out just fine.

Montway dropped off my 2000 Corvette at the port in Hawaii. I picked it up there and it was in good condition. The quote was fair and very accurate.

The transport went well. They had a reasonable price. But, they gave a window, of five days or three days. Having one to two days will be better. Other than that, communication with the driver was good for pickup as well as delivery.

Montway is dependable. This is the second time I have used them. Pickup was fine on the other side, and delivery was great. The distance was from Fort Worth, Texas to Greenville-Spartanburg. It was delivered very quickly. The driver told me how long before they would get there, and they always came and get us there.

Montway picked the car up from Phoenix, Arizona, and delivered it to north of Columbus, Ohio. It was picked it up Thursday afternoon and it was delivered to my house Sunday evening. When the driver picked it up, he told us he had two other stops to make. Then those two stops ended up canceling. On the day of delivery, he kept us up-to-date. Every three to four hours, he would give us an update of where he was at. If I had to do another transport, I would definitely go with the company.

The Montway reps were nice, knew what they were talking about, and the quote was good. I used them before too. This time, I called, because we were selling our condo and I had to put some things in the back seat, and the guy explained I could. The things just couldn't go over the windows. However, I thought it was a little excessive charging $100 to put extra stuff in the trunk and the backseat, but that's their business. The driver was very nice. He picked up the car when he said he would and got here without a problem. Everything went according to plan, and the car went right to my son's house.

Montway met my expectations on time. The driver called the day he delivered. He went door-to-door. I would recommend Montway again.

The courier driver called me to pick up the car. It was delivered at one of the nearest ways because it was not approachable where I live. But it was picked up and delivered on time. I would refer Montway to others.

I felt comfortable with Montway's rep. I got good directions on what to do and how to do it. Overall, I was satisfied with the service. The timeframe was right on. They came right on time to pick the car up and the delivery was on time, too. So, it worked out real well. I met the driver when he picked the car up. He was a nice guy. I had his number and we communicated. The only thing that caught me off-guard a little bit is when the driver dropped the car off, they said they don't take credit cards or personal checks. He said it would have to be a money order. I found out that they use Venmo so it was painless.

The rep was very professional. Everything was done through email. It was a little difficult understanding the language barrier, but we got through it. On delivery, the driver contacted the receiver, arranged a delivery date, and allowed the receiver to do the inspection. The vehicle was fine - just dirty. The quote provided was within range but it went over. The driver was demanding an extra 50 bucks for some reason after we'd already decided on a price.

Once Montway scheduled me to the driver, it was interesting that all my communication was done from that point forward by the driver personally. It would have been better and certainly made me feel more comfortable if they would say, “Hey, how's the driver? Are things working out? Did you get scheduled?” Unfortunately, once the truck was dispatched, I never heard from them again. For future opportunity to improve, it would be great if they did some communication, “Hey, was your vehicle picked up as scheduled? Hey, did your vehicle get delivered as scheduled?”

It's the second time I've used Montway. Previously, I called them and I had the car in four days. So, when I had the second car I bought, they were the first and only people I called. Everything both times was excellent. Communication was there. Got the car in a timely manner, very reasonably priced. So I was extremely happy both times. The second time, the driver hit a lot of rain. So, he was a bit delayed getting the car to me. He told me a certain time. It ended up being three or four hours later. But he was fine the whole way. Anytime I texted or called, he answered and was very helpful. When I buy another car out of state, I will use them again.

Montway was good at picking up the phone and answering questions. Every time I called the driver, he picked up and told me where he was and when I was expected to come. I had to meet him 10 minutes away because the street that I lived on was a little bit too narrow for him to bring his truck.

Their price was good. It was about $250 better than what I was getting. They picked my car up on the 14th and told me it will be there by the next Friday, which was about the 20th. Two days shy of the due date, the guy called me to apologize that there was a snag along the way. I got a call and they were near the street where I live. Their vehicle could not come because it is wider than the road. The driver told me where to meet him and my vehicle was there. I identified it and signed all the papers. The way it went, it came that way. I was happy with their service.

The process was simple. And the quality of service was good. The registration was super easy. But there was a dead spot in between. And the next thing I knew, the driver called me, "Hey, I'm gonna be there in 24 hours." That was a problem. But we rectified it. I had someone in place. I would definitely have other people use Montway.

Montway came and got the car delivered when they said they would. I had never done this before, so I was very leery on this. But I was very impressed with my experience. I'm in California and I shipped it all the way to North Carolina. It was very far, and it was a big deal. The driver contacted me when he was on his way then he contacted me again, “Hey, I'm right down the street.” Then he contacted the recipient. I'm thrilled.

Customer service was great. My car is a Corvette and it's a convertible. I asked the driver if I could get it out in the bottom and he convinced me that it was better to be on the end at the top. He slanted it down a little bit with the other car in front of it, so that was great. The driver also seemed to be very confident and he really knew what he was doing. He called several times during the transport and he got to the destination before we did but my son was down there to show him where to park the car. So the service was good and I couldn’t ask for any better.

Montway gave me a number to call. And even when the pickup day came along, I got the number of the actual guy who would pick up the car. That was nice. Very quick responses. The setup time was a little off so I asked for a later time. But the guy called me, said that he was ready to pick it up then. Luckily, I was in the area. So I said, “Okay, no problem.” I went ahead and did that. But if I had been somewhere else at the time he called me, it would have caused an issue. The car got to its destination in two days. And the person who picked it up sent close up shots of the car that everything was okay. And now, I'm with the car again and it's totally fine. It was very fair-priced.

I was told that the transportation will take almost a week, but it only took three days. So, it was very good. The pickup went well. Although, not that well, because I live in U-District, so it's a very compact place. And I was told to go to Northgate to park my car so that they could put it onto the truck, because the truck is very big and they cannot go to the U-District. But the problem was that truck was not supposed to be there. So, the driver had to go out of the parking lot and find somewhere else. That part is a bit out of expectation. But finally, he found a place right in the middle of the road where you can turn. It's not a normal driveway, but it's just in between the driveway where the cars can go there and turn. He ended up parking there, and I just followed him. Other than that, it was great.

The guy was very professional. When he came to our house, he was right on time. It was an easy process. The car was delivered to my son in Austin and he thought they did a great job. They picked it up that morning and delivered it that same day.

I transported a $300,000 car through Montway and it was perfect when it arrived. They returned my phone call and I didn't have to chase. Plus, my brother met the driver and said he was very professional.

I liked Montway's price. They came back with an extra $300 charge that was questionable. At that point, we needed to get it done. So, we just went ahead and did it. They said the driver that they found had to come from Chicago. But when he came, he came from Ohio. But I love him so much. My son was given a time when the car would be delivered. Something happened. And it was delivered a day later. At that point, my son being in the military was back out in the field, couldn't meet the driver because he couldn't leave. But the driver was great with then working with my son. So, we were all happy all around. Hopefully, the driver got that $300 because he was wonderful.

I was very impressed with the service of the young fella that delivered the car. He was efficient, kept me posted all the way and delivered the car on time with absolutely no problem. Overall, the quality of service was excellent. The cost was a little high, but you have to do it. I would rather pay a little more money and have excellent service.

The transport was from Muskego, Wisconsin until Mesa, Arizona. It took four days. I talked to the driver on the first day and the last day, and it was neat. He pulled up and unloaded the car.

I was very satisfied with the rep. The vehicle was in excellent condition when it got there. Montway's cost was higher than the other company that we started with, but we were also up against the timeframe. The cost would have been higher with anybody as we got down to the brass tacks. Montway was very easy to work with and everything went as planned. They contracted with a company that's based up here in Washington. So, that worked out very well, 'cause they were able to store the car because we weren't going to be up at our destination for a few days.

Montway is a broker and they take a commission for putting a transport up on a big board and the driver will grab it. If it's not gonna work out for that driver, he'll cancel it and another guy will drive it. It would be a good idea to let first time people know that the window of time can sometimes be wildly inaccurate due to the possibility of the cancellations and the re-ups that could occur. If patience is not a virtue that the client has, then he or she would be dissatisfied with any automotive shipping company, especially one that's bringing a vehicle 1,600 miles away. Outside of that, it is what it is. If you want the car bad enough, you'll wait.

This is the second or third time we have used Montway. We live in Massachusetts and have a home in Florida. So we needed to get the car down there. The driver was easy to get ahold of, always answered the phone when I called. I broke down a few times and he was very good about communicating. Things have gone up in past couple of years. But it was worth the cost.

Montway was straightforward. I had a date and everything set up. They are flexible because I had to postpone my pickup a couple of times. I arranged with them just because I was using a rental car. They were able to drop off the car closer to the airport for me. I didn't have to figure out multiple transport, things like picking up the car. So, they were very easy to work with.

The rep was really helpful and very flexible. I could not get to a bank to get cash and so he allowed me to pay via Zelle. That was really convenient for me because I know it's not the standard for Montway. He communicated with me along the way. The car also arrived a bit early. The driver and the representative managed to communicate with me to figure out where would be the best place to leave the keys and hide them so that I could get my car safely. It all worked out. The condition of m vehicle was perfect. Based on how complicated this move was, Montway did a really good job.

I initially wrote a review about the issues I had been having receiving paperwork for a vehicle I had purchased and delivered from thousands of miles away. After my review, (10/10 Montway, 2/10 carrier service) I was contacted by Consumer Affairs and upon them reviewing my order and listening to my concern they immediately took the reigns to resolve my problem. They were in constant contact with me via phone call, very personable and professional. Together we were able to find out what had happened and get the information sent to me. I understood that Montway 'subcontracts' to smaller carriers and this had 100% been a carrier issue and not Montway. Within a week I had the paperwork to me and title transferred. I will certainly use them again.

Everything went well in regards to the pickup and the delivery. The only negative thing to come out of it was the driver didn't know how to drive stick or he knew, but it was very obvious he had not driven stick in a very long time. That was interesting to watch. Other than that, the expeditiousness of the delivery was impressive. I was expecting it to take upwards of a week because it was half the country away, Connecticut to Missouri, but it took less than two days for it to get there.

There were a couple of times where some wires got crossed as far as dates. I went into this thinking that I could give a date range and we would be good to go with that. What ended up happening was I had to get the car a few days earlier than I anticipated. So I had to hustle on my end here getting the garage ready. That was a bit of a pain. Other than that, it was okay.

Montway was supposed to pick the motorcycle up. But the timeframe that the driver had to pick it up, I was leaving the state. So, I had to go down and drop it off myself. The driver called, gave me a heads-up and said that it would be coming. And it came as soon as they said. It went smooth. Use Montway.

Montway made it easy. Taking the information over the phone and getting it all set up, and getting the date set up and letting me know when the driver would show up. Communication was easy. Through every step, every time there was a change in anything, I was sent an email. The driver stayed in touch and let us know what was going on. The driver was good about contacting me, as well as Montway themselves, to let me know what was happening. They did a good job. I was charged what I was quoted.

I had a very good experience with their reps. They were very thorough. The quote and the final price were one and the same. The driver was a nice guy. I got a fair price.

The guy was very friendly. He delivered the car like he said, stayed in touch with me and everything was fine. Montway was great. There was no damage on my vehicle, which I can't say that for the last company I used. I have another car in Arizona and possibly one in Texas that I'll be picking up in the future, and I'll definitely use Montway again.

We were pleased with Montway throughout. The agents that we talked to were courteous and informative, and the transport people were great. The dispatcher contacted us and told us a guy would be coming. He called a little earlier and couldn't have been more polite or professional. The transport was from outside of Washington, DC to Central Ohio and that took a day and a half.

Montway was a bit higher than the other transporters that I looked at. But Montway was the only one that I spoke to. We were relocating for a few months, and we needed to bring our car with us. It was much better than I had anticipated. I have never done this before. And I was very pleased with all the arrangements and with the driver. He was excellent. A very nice, young man, gave us assurances about the arrival of the car. He did beyond our expectations. We're very pleased with the way it was handled. We will probably use Montway's services on the return trip.

I had to find a mover fast, and Montway was the most reasonable and able to get the vehicle transported in the least amount of time. The entire experience was very good. They were efficient and stuck to the estimate. They were very clear on when they would pick it up and when they would call. I had myself as a contact and realizing I may not be in cell service, I changed it to my sister, and they were very good about that. I love the driver. He was very professional. When he pulled up, he handled my vehicle with kid-glove care and nothing was rushed. Everything was very methodical. I also live way out in the country and I know that he had to manage that truck on some hairpin turn type things. He had to maneuver the vehicle on a one-lane road on a dead-end street. He did it well and made it clean to the house. I was impressed.

Everybody I dealt with was wonderful. I have no complaints about the service or the people that I worked with. The only thing that I wish had been different would be some sort of virtual tracking. I had to call the driver directly versus just being able to go online. Other than that, the condition of the car was much better than we thought it would be being in an open carry. It looked great when it arrived.

Montway is a good company to go with. Everything was smooth like it was supposed to be. The driver showed up in Tampa before the expected date and I was so happy. It was really fast.

My vehicle got to the delivery place earlier than expected and I wasn't money ready. I was told it’d be there Friday and they came Wednesday. But it all worked out. Montway was awesome. The driver was great. My car showed up and there wasn't anything wrong with it or miles put on it. I was pleased. I referred Montway to a couple of my friends. It's definitely not extremely pricey. Montway was the cheapest quote that I had got out of all the quotes I was looking for and that was another reason I went with them.

Montway got back to me quicker and they were more upfront. They told me how everything would work out too. Because we were leaving Florida on a Friday, and we weren't getting to Texas on a Monday, the biggest thing was making sure that the vehicle wouldn't be there before we got there. And they aligned everything to work out perfectly fine for us. They brought the car to us, and inspected it here in our house.

I called Montway and the guy that answered was pretty nice. I felt confident with him and everything turned out wonderful. The quality of the transportation was fantastic. Montway has a wonderful driver and that made the whole thing wonderful. If I have to use him, I will use them again.

I did a purchase of a vehicle on Autotraders and there was an ad for Montway on there. I checked them and a couple of others that I knew about. Montway had the lower numbers and they had good reviews so I just went with them. I had several emails and they answered right away. The vehicle was picked up within two days of me scheduling it, which surprised me. The driver contacted me and let me know when he'd be here. He was here on time. That was excellent for me for a first-timer.

I flew to New York and my mom gave me her car. I had to have it transported. My little sister looked up transport agencies and she gave me the name of Montway Motors and told me the name of a guy to call in Chicago. I called him and his answering machine said that he would get back to me in five minutes or less. I waited about four hours and he never called. I went online and found a local Montway number and called it. I talked to a really nice guy and told him the deal that I was flying out on Wednesday. If they could pick the car up at my mom's house before Wednesday, it would be there. But if it was after Wednesday, I had to move it to my brother's house.

It was a great experience for both my of cars. The communication with the driver was good and the process was great. Montway is very flexible. Everything's good.

I had a fantastic experience with the reps. It was so seamless. The movers came up to where I lived and worked around my schedule which was fantastic. They were very communicative. Their truck had issues and I got a text telling that they were fixing it and then telling me that they're back on the road. They were still early delivering the car.

The rep at Montway was helpful and the driver was excellent. He was very friendly, showed up, communicated the whole time and was exactly where he said he would be. He updated us if there was a change and gave us plenty of notice. From what I experienced with Montway, you get the price that you are quoted and a professional driver. You know what is going on and get your car on time and in good shape.

I got a 2021 TLX Acura in Florida and I needed to transport it to New York. I checked out seven companies and one of them stole my money. That was why I was pretty skeptical with Montway. The first time I called, I probed them a lot so they probably were a little irritated. But when I hung up with them the second time, it was legit. That was how I knew it was okay to go with them. The quote was pretty decent, especially since they were official.

The final cost went down 100 once the final quote came in. Communicating with the driver was great. It was good communication ahead of time before they picked the vehicle up. The driver called and said the delivery was gonna be between 3:00 and 5:00 on a specific day. He also said, "Okay, we're 30 minutes out". I was extremely happy. I'll use Montway again anytime and recommend them too. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I can’t imagine any better service from beginning to end.

Montway did a good job and I was highly impressed. The transport took two days. When the driver picked up the car, I talked to him. He's very knowledgeable and polite. The timing was good and I didn't have to wait a long time. Montway gave me a fair number and I paid exactly what they said. I was happy with everything.

They picked the car up at the time they said they were going to and they delivered it to the location. Also, the price didn't change and the driver communicated with me at the beginning and with my daughter at the pick-up. I was happy with the experience.

I was buying was a car that was in South Dakota coming to North Carolina. It was a Plymouth Prowler so I went on the Prowler club. A couple of guys had used Montway in the past and said things went well. The whole process went very smoothly. Montway did everything they said they were going to do. They were on time and the driver that delivered the car was very personable. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Montway responded quickly and everything was done right on time. It was kind of funny because I thought to myself, a lot of the reviews on all these different places were where something had happened. If you're shipping a car across the country, anything could happen. A delay of a day or two should almost be expected. But on my end, everything happened right on time though I overpaid.

We had a very pleasurable experience with Montway. We had to change our pickup times a couple of times and had to change the carrier. The driver they used was good. We thought it would be something that would take time but we moved in Saturday night and we got our car Sunday morning. Also, I got a market price because the quote was about the same amount of money that you should expect. I was not cheated.

I've used Montway two or three times now and it's been real good. I used to use another company but Montway seems to be easier to do. Everything's online and if you need to, you’ve got a number you can call. They've been very helpful. They'll give you a quote right away and so far, they've done everything they said they're going to do.

Pickup and delivery went very smoothly, and Montway was very accommodating. We had to make some modifications halfway, and they worked with us perfectly. I was expecting a little more resistance on that part, but nothing. Everything went well. The party on the receiving end also had good things to say about them because they had to make the changes at that end before the drop off and they were equally pleased.

Montway's reps were really good at explaining what would happen and they stayed right to the penny with the quote they gave me. The driver at that end was a little late because they made other stops but it's fine, although there was some damage to the car. When the car was picked up, it was put on one of those car transports but when my son picked it up, it was being towed by a single truck, so on top of a carrier. The steering column was off-centered by six inches and we had to get it readjusted. There was a little bit of damage to one of the tires also. But all in all, I was very happy and I would use Montway again. They were nice people and they did exactly what they said they would do.

I wasn't there when the car was picked up but the driver took pictures all the way around to make sure that it arrived in the same condition. The driver was very good. If there was a change in the pickup, he was open to it and picked the car up right on time. The pickup went very smoothly. He also let me know when they were an hour or two hours for the drop-off.

Whenever I buy cars, Montway is pretty much exclusively who I use. They've been the best I've ever used - fastest, for sure, and the best prices. I used this other company for one of my Range Rovers and it was sitting in New Jersey for two or three weeks. They couldn't find a driver. Then, I found Montway and they had the car picked up the day I called. They were way faster and more responsive.

This is the only time I've ever had to transport a vehicle, and I expected it to be a lot more complicated than it was, but it was straightforward once I did the application online. There were a couple of delays because of some mechanical issues, but the transporter was good at conveying that they were running behind and when they were going to get there. Also, the car was in perfect condition when it arrived. I was very happy with service.

I’ve used Montway now for a couple of years because I happen to like them. When we were coming from Boston to Florida, we used them again and they were wonderful. I always dealt with Giovanni and he was very accommodating. The quote we had was higher than we thought it was gonna be but we paid it anyway. The transport took three or four days and the car was in good condition when it arrived. We’re in a community in Florida where the trucks aren’t allowed to come in so we had to go to the driver outside of the community. We had to find a location for the truck to meet us.

My whole experience was really good. They were helpful. I had lots of questions and they all got answered. Communication with the driver was great. They got my car where it needed to be and brought down the final cost too. I’ll probably use them when I have to come back.

Montway's reps were very good. They took all the information down, and they were very customer service-oriented and polite. They transported my vehicle from South Carolina to Virginia and it was between 600 and 700 miles. The courier drivers showed up on time and they took very good care of my automobile. They took pictures of it before they loaded it up so that if there was any damage, they would see what it looked like before and after. So, they were very conscientious. They picked it up on a Friday and I told them I wouldn't be in Virginia until Monday. They said that was fine and that they'd deliver it on Monday afternoon. So, they worked with my schedule. All in all, it was a very easy experience.

Setting everything up was confusing. There were too many representatives and there were different calls. I don't think they have their act together. Other than that, the driver was great and he was very communicative. Also, he took pictures of things before and after and sent them to me. It was very professional.

I like working with Montway. They are an excellent carrier if you have a flexible time frame, 'cause they are a broker and they're hiring different truckers. ​I've used them multiple times. 9 out of 10 times, it's been spot-on. One time, there was a truck issue, a mechanical breakdown. The car came about a week late. Didn't matter. We weren't on a tight deadline, so it was okay.

The process was all done online. The pick-up was fine and done by a nice gentleman. The delivery was fine too. The cost was good.

The transport coordinator was good, quick and efficient. The coordination was fine. We sent texts. It was a seamless process.

Working with Montway was a seamless experience. I got exactly what I was promised. Communication was pretty good. I got proper notification. The driver who was supposed to pick up my car showed up on the time promised and then the delivery was also pretty smooth. I had to change the delivery address and that was very smoothly handled. I like that Montway called me back because I talked to the actual vendors that my delivery address is going to change. My vehicle came before I expected, and one day before I expected. So I had to get it delivered to a friend's place. Montway then called me and said, "Hey, have you raised this request or the vendor is just doing something illegitimate?" That was very comforting. Montway's price is higher than what I was getting from competitors but given the service, it was the right choice.

We liked what we heard when we talked to them. The driver called and told us where he'd pick the car up because we were in a very rural area in the mountains. We met him there and he was there on time. He took photos, talked to us, loaded the vehicle and he was on his way. It worked out perfectly. He was here in three days. It was unbelievably fast. The communication was perfect. The same guy picked it up and dropped it off. I was very pleased with Montway. They were a great company to work with.

Montway was fantastic. My mom shipped a truck out to us from Napa, California to Andover, Massachusetts. It traveled about 3,500 miles. They were very thorough on the front end and very accommodating because they picked up the truck at the shop where it had just gotten maintained instead of her having to drive it out of her garage. That was very convenient because she's getting a little bit older and it's too big for her to drive. They were able to pick up a mile and a half from her house, which was very nice. They were definitely on time for Andover to deliver to Andover.

The way that Montway explained their process was that they had drivers that were at their disposal. It wouldn't be like a bidding system. It was a sure thing. They gave me a set window that the vehicle would be picked up and delivered. The price would stay the same. They had two options. I could pay the total price upfront on my credit card. It was $90 more. I could pay half on the credit card and then half in guaranteed funds at delivery. I just chose to put it on my credit card 'cause that was easier for me. My experience with them went absolutely 100% perfectly, as smoothly as I could have hoped for. The rep was great. She was the person that I spoke to, initially. I also had her direct line to call back when I booked.

The driver picked the car up one afternoon and it took a day and a half. The whole process was done extremely well.

My only complaint is that they give me a timeframe that they'll pick my vehicle up between Monday and Saturday and I got 90 minutes notice when the guy was an hour and a half close to my house. Other than that, the communication with the driver was outstanding and the quote was spot on. Working with them was simple and easy. If I had to ship a car, I'd probably choose them again.

I've dealt with Montway before. I called three other transporters and Montway had the best price, which was the first time I used them. Then I went and called them the second time for the transport ‘cause I had no problem with them when they moved the car the first time. I was satisfied with their service. Their cost was reasonable. I'm not sure if it was less because I told them that I used the service three years prior.

The next morning, he gave me a call that he was right outside with my truck. The dealership that I purchased the car from was going to arrange to have my car shipped to Arizona for me. But the people who were setting it up kept dropping the ball. Then all of a sudden, I came down to crunch time and nobody lined up to ship my car. So one of the dealers gave me the name of Montway and the phone number, and I called and arranged it myself. Everything went very well. My experience with Montway was perfect. They bailed me out of a pretty tight spot and got the work done and very promptly. The driver didn't speak much English, but I had no problem communicating with him. From Illinois to Phoenix area, he got the car down there in less than 48 hours. The service was kind of expensive. But it was about half the price of renting a car if I had tried to rent a car to do the same thing.

Montway quoted me a price and when I made the agreement, I paid for it. Some other companies then called me back. The price I paid was about $200 higher than the other companies. Montway picked up my car in New Hampshire and got it to Florida. That took five days and the experience was fine. The driver contacted my brother-in-law when he picked it up, and he contacted me when he was in Florida. The car arrived in the same condition as when he picked it up. The final price was accurate to the quote I got.

There was a bunch of other people that were transporting cars to Florida, but Montway was the most reasonable and more consistent in their pricing. They were also more reasonable in their increase from the original quote, so I stayed with them. The communication was very good. We met the driver near us and he was very professional. We took pictures of the car and I signed them and we all agreed to what was going to happen next and how the car was going to come down here. It all worked as promised. We had a great experience.

The process from pick-up and delivery was super smooth. The car got picked up and delivered on time. I had requested for it to be overnight because my tickets and my trip were planned that way. So, I specifically requested the carrier to deliver it at a certain time. The communication was really good. They kept me posted. It was great service. So, in the future, if I need something again, I'll definitely get in touch with them.

The transport with Montway worked great. It took about a week but that was not bad. The car arrived right on time. I met with the driver upon pickup, and I had to figure out where to meet him to where he could get his tractor trailer. That was the same upon delivery. I had to figure out the easiest place to meet him for his tractor trailer for him to drop off the vehicle. The interaction was all great. He was very professional. Montway is a great company to choose for moving a vehicle across the country. They give very professional service and very accurate estimates as far as cost and timeline.

I did an online quote initially and then, I called somebody to ask a couple of questions after I had set it up to make sure I understood everything. The reps did well and the driver was good. Communication was what we needed and I had no concerns there.

The reps at Montway knew what they were doing and I had no doubt that they were experienced. They have performed well in the past. The quote for the transport was very accurate. The driver that picked up the load had to backtrack slightly from his original location. So there was an additional $150 in cost and the shipping company agreed to split that cost with me. Once the vehicle was picked up, the driver and I had multiple phone calls and texts, and he answered all my questions. He contacted me prior to the arrival and then, I contacted my close ally that the truck was getting dropped off. It was an east transaction and the vehicle was in better condition than I imagined.

I always use Montway. They beat everyone's price. I used them recently, and the driver this time was good. I'm very cautious of my car, so I always look around. He did a perfect job. He took it off the right way and was taking the time making sure everything was good.

Everything with Montway was good except for the delay. I guess the driver’s truck broke down but they took care of it. They got the driver to take off $100. It was okay, but I felt like they could have done more because we had to pay for a rental car those days. Other than that, they seemed pretty straightforward and made the process really simple.
