Montway Auto Transport Reviews

I checked online because I had to transport my SUV from Maryland to California. I found Montway and checked the website, the reviews, the Consumer Reports and the Better Business Reports and found that they are pretty reliable and have good ratings. The transport took about five days and everything went very smoothly. The driver kept in touch with us when he was here to pick up the vehicle and when he was there to deliver it. I'm very well satisfied with the services.

We were moving from Illinois to Tennessee. I don't do highways and I'm not driving eight hours by myself. I looked at Montway first then PODS recommended Mr. Car Shipper. I called them but I did not like how cocky they were. I called Montway back 'cause I liked them and I went with them 'cause I felt comfortable. The rep was very thorough. He told me every step that was gonna happen through the process. They were also almost $300 cheaper. They were super nice and did exactly what they said they were gonna do when they did it. They picked the car up and brought it out here in the day. The driver was in contact with us all the way also. We met him at the road 'cause the vehicle was too big to come in here. It was exactly the way it was when we picked it up and the quote did not change. Montway was awesome. I would recommend them to anybody.

I relocated from Virginia to Texas and shipped the vehicle thru Montway based on the reviews that I saw online. The rep was very good and very knowledgeable. We dropped the vehicle off in Virginia then the young lady brought it over. She was very professional as well. The transport took seven days and the price I paid was right on the money. It was a good experience and I'd definitely use Montway again if I have to.

I gave Montway a down payment and they told me what type of cash I had to have when I showed up. That was exactly what I paid. It was an enclosed transport and the guy was really good. It was a 1,500-mile trip and I got my vehicle within two weeks which is quick for an auto transport company. I used Reliable before and they were the best I've had. Montway was a little bit better as far as keeping me informed about what was going on. The ease of service and great customer care were the biggest plusses for me. This was the best experience I've had dealing with an auto transport company.

I shipped a truck for a cross country move. The rep was great and the customer service was excellent. The driver did a really good job and the quote was good too.

When I was moving from Ohio to California, I called a few places. I read all the reviews online as well, and I opted for Montway. I felt that they were the most reliable and they were at a cheaper rate. The quote was very reasonable and it was very accurate. The driver was also quick to give responses and I felt good. I received my car within five to six days and it was absolutely perfect. Overall, the service was good. I had a very good experience working with them.

I needed to ship a car to my kid in college from Florida to Pennsylvania and I was looking for a company. Montway came up and I did some research online. I also asked a few friends but none of them had used them before. I got the name of another company that I called originally but that didn’t work out timing-wise so I called Montway. They were right on top of it. I liked their accessibility and timeframe. They were all roughly the same price but some were gonna take 10 days or a week. Montway took three days. The reps were all fabulous and I love the office. They were very nice, professional and their level of knowledge was very high. They knew that they weren't going to be able to do it themselves. They were gonna have to outsource it and they were very upfront that it might cost me a little bit more, which did. It ended up costing me another $80 and I was willing to accept that.

There were several companies that I had the opportunity to choose from, and I decided to go with Montway because one company never responded back to me and the other did, but never got back with a follow up. Since I went with Montway, I didn't have any issues at all. As a matter of fact, they delivered my vehicle a day and a half earlier than the scheduled time. I arrived on the 13th of October and they were supposed to deliver my vehicle not until the 16th. But they called me up on the 14th and said, “Hey, we'll be heading to Albuquerque. We have your vehicle. Are you available to take it?” But the driver had some problems with traffic and they showed up at my residence around 10 at night. But I was good with that. The experience from when they first picked it up was outstanding. Then even when I got my vehicle, I checked my odometer and it didn't even move. It still had the same mileage on it when it was dropped off. So no one drove the vehicle.

I looked at the various recommendations on a site and the ratings that people had made. Montway had one of the highest ratings and they seemed to be reasonable in price. I had a wonderful experience with them. They were there when they said they were there. They were efficient and professional. They were punctual and they called right back. I didn't have to wait 24 hours to know that I was accepted. I got a call right away. Everything that they said would happen, happened. The driver was excellent. He was prompt and punctual. He did a good job. He was a pleasure to deal with. I was very, very pleased. I would use them again.

Montway was fantastic from start to finish. They were on time. The delivery was earlier. There was constant communication through text. The auto transportation portion was the least of my worries through the whole move because they were so on top of it. We moved from California to Connecticut and we did the transport of my car and my husband's motorcycle. For the motorcycle, it took 15 days to arrive because it was enclosed. But for the car, it was quick. It was around seven days. They did great. I would definitely use them again if we have to do a long haul.

They were very efficient. The rep that set up the transport was very kind and checked in, calling me back to finish the transaction out, which I appreciated. The quote was very accurate and the delivery was great. It took only a week, which was really fast. When the driver picked up the car, we knew he was on his way. Another operator contacted and told me that the driver was nearby. He gave me his number. So the communication was great.

Their representative was nice and the quote I got was reasonable. The delivery went good as well. Everything was in good shape when the truck arrived.

The people said once they got in contact with the person who was the owner of the car first, they made sure he was there, got his information, and talked to him. Then they said they were gonna call me when they were on the way, picking the car up and on the road. They called every couple of hours and let me know where they were and then once they got in my state. They called me once they got to my city and then when they were pulling up, they also called. So I knew at all times everything. It was awesome dealing with them. The transport took about four days. Montway provided the cheapest quote and the final cost was still on point. The vehicle was perfect when it arrived. Montway is the best one and that's the one I wanna use from now on.

Some of the other companies were okay giving a discount to a senior but I had initially started with Montway so I went back to Montway. I also felt confident after talking to the salesperson that I spoke to. I shipped my sister's Hyundai and my Subaru. The driver was professional and on time. Everything was good.

We called Montway and they took care of everything for us. They picked up the car on time and delivered it on time too. We had the car from Michigan to Florida and we had it hauled down a transporter. The rep called us and said that he would be at that location in half an hour. He inspected it before he unloaded it and took some pictures, and there was no damage that we saw. Everything looked good. He drove it off and then we took off. It was right by our house in Fort Myers. The quote that Montway gave us was $50 more than what we should have paid but they are a very good company. I’d recommend them and we'll use them again. They did a great job.

I bought a '98 Cobra Mustang out of state and I needed it transported. I had used transporters in the past and wasn't satisfied with them but I saw good reviews for Montway, so I went with them. Their customer service was excellent. As soon as I started the online process, someone from Montway texted, called and emailed me. They wanted to make sure that we got everything right. The cost was very reasonable and acceptable.

I was moving one of my personal vehicles 1,900 miles back to my home state and I ended up going with back with them. They were nice and they gave me a discount. They came back with a price that beat everybody else. One company initially started really low and that was crazy. I was on a broker board and all the drivers were coming back with $1,600 to $1,800 quotes. Montway was on the money. I work in one state and I live in another. If I have to transport another vehicle again, I'm not even gonna put myself through that process of getting a quote. I'll just call Montway back.

I live in Raleigh, North Carolina and my dad gifted me a Ram truck from Alabama. I searched for quotes, and then I got all these high prices, but there was one website where I could just put the job and let some companies bid on it. Montway Auto gave me the lowest price and then they gave me a cash discount. It was a good deal. I went with them and they beat expectations with the time frame. I called them a couple of times and did the chat function as well. They're responsive. I would recommend them. I would rent them again.

Not only did Manny tell me the exact day, but he was also very precise on the time that he would be meeting me. He was exactly on time and he was waiting for me when I pulled in.

I called first and somebody explained the whole process to me, and then there was an email confirmation. My only thing is that it took a while to be clear about when they were gonna pick up. I used Montway to have my wife’s car shipped out. Their price quote was spot on. The driver was friendly. I talked to him. We put the car in and he left. Everything with Montway was smooth and efficient. The car was delivered sooner than expected and so that concerned me a little bit because once the car is delivered, there's a countdown of how many days you have where the car will be stored for free. If it's stored longer than 20 days, then the consumer has to pay. When I landed in Hawaii, I was told I couldn't leave my hotel room for two weeks because of the quarantine. I thought that I was going to incur an additional expense. I did the math on it, and based on the number of days, there was definitely gonna be a charge. That initially made me pretty unhappy because things were out of my control. But when I went to pick up the vehicle, there was no charge. Overall, Montway was fast, efficient, kept to their word, and the price was reasonable.

Montway Auto transported my car from Texas to Oregon, which took five days. The driver called me when he arrived, and I picked it up.

Everything went well and I was very happy with the service from Montway Auto Transport. The pickup and the delivery went flawlessly. I had done the shipping of cars in the past with other companies and there were glitches here and there. But with Montway, the guy that picked up my car was very friendly and very professional. I told him to take care of my car and he was really nice about it. He made me feel comfortable about picking up my car. My car was delivered to the destination a day or two earlier than I expected. It went smoothly. There was no damage to my car. At the delivery, my daughter and my ex-husband said that the guy was really nice.

I already noticed Montway had a whole lot of reviews, so I checked them out and they were, overall, super good. The representative during the set up was really good and then I had to make a change, and they did that. The car left here the 4th of October, and it got down there on the 13th of October. That was because of the weekend. I did not have an issue on the time and the car got there without any damages at all, so that was excellent.

Montway offered a good price for a good service that was reasonable. The quotes were very comparable. They weren't the highest and they weren't the lowest, but the interaction I had with the staff that I spoke with is what sealed the deal. They were respectful in their communications with me and timely. I spoke with a couple of gentlemen and they were very polite and helpful with what they could offer, any extra benefits they had available. As in, we wanted to know if we could put in more than 100 pounds in the trunk and if that was an additional cost, and that was explained very nicely about what we could also ship with the vehicle in the trunk.

Montway Auto Transport was cheaper and more reliable. I was moving from California to Florida and the service was really good. It took three days and it was super fast. The quote was the actual amount that I paid. Their reps were really on top of it. I had a lot of questions and they assured me. The driver was super responsible and would message me frequently. He wasn't able to make it 100% of the way, but he made it 99 of the way. But It was fine. It was only like a few steps away. The vehicle was just like I had left it. I would tell my friends and family that the next time they needed to ship, they should do it with Montway.

Everything was okay with Montway Auto Transport. It's just that I had a picture of the motorcycle before it went on to the thing, and when it got delivered, the mirror was completely disassembled. Even the person who gave it to me said, "We don't know. We just received it like this." The people were nice. It's just that they didn't know what happened to the mirror. There was nothing I could do, but the side mirror was all scratched up. Other than that, it was a great experience. The motorcycle was intact. There was no scratch on the bike.

I was dealing with this other company for the transport of my personal vehicle from California to Georgia. But I fired them after 10 days of waiting for them to pick my truck up. Then I called Montway on a Wednesday, paid money and it was done. They pickled my truck up on Friday and they had it here quickly. The people did an outstanding job. Every time I called and asked a question, they had an answer. I paid an extra 200 bucks to their original quote, so the final cost was close. It was a little steep. But you gotta pay if you wanna play. The delivery driver was pleasant and on the truck, there was no dents, no dings, no scratches, other than the ones that I put in it. So I was happy. We picked a spot to meet and it was pretty close to the house. Montway does good work. I would recommend them to anybody for car transportation.

We moved to California, temporarily, from Michigan so we needed our car. We used Montway Auto Transport and everything went fine. The driver was great. He told us that he was gonna be here on a Friday instead of Saturday. The car was in great condition when it came. Also, the final cost was exactly what the quote was.

I shipped a Cadillac XLR and a Tesla Roadster with Montway and both of them went well. Their prices were not the lowest but they were reasonable. Also, they were on time and responsive. We had kind of a deadline on one of the shipments. I called them on a Wednesday and I told them we need to get a car to Texas by Tuesday. The rep said they were booked but he called me back in 24 hours and said they could pick the car up on Saturday and they would get to Texas by Tuesday. I thought that was pretty good. It was a good service from the beginning and they have an excellent follow-up.

Montway has very professional customer service. It's amazing. My mom's English wasn't very good, but the representative was willing to work with her and meet her halfway, so she didn’t have to do too much driving. They’re professional. Delivery was very great as well. The vehicle was a day late, but the driver still made it here on time the next day. The vehicle was parked right outside my apartment, so I just had to go there, sign the paperwork, and the vehicle was in my possession within 5 to 10 minutes. It was perfect. I'll definitely use their service again when I need it.

I had found a good deal on a car out in California that it was worth factoring in the transportation fee. The transport was to be from West to East. I looked at three companies. I had a friend who had already used Montway so I looked at the other two more for sanity's sake. Their prices were all higher. Montway's customer service was excellent and I got perfect communication. If there was any type of update, delay, or a process change, the communication was right on point. In anything that you do, communication is key. Even if you have a delay and you're told about that, at least you're told and you don't find out later. In my case though I was told the opposite. The car was gonna be there earlier and I was told two days in advance.

Montway’s quote was a bit on the higher end compared to other providers, but the service was good. So, no complaints about that. If the quote had been a little bit lesser, I would take it instead anytime. They gave a delivery timeframe of within a week and they were able to do that. The guy called when he reached the destination and I just had to pick up in 200 feet. I was satisfied with the service.

I got my son's vehicle up here from Florida to New Jersey. I'm not going to Florida with all the COVID with my daughter. So, rather than drive down and get it and fly down and drive it back, we decided to use a transport service. We didn't want to take a chance. Montway was the first one that came up when I Googled auto transporters, and it was 5 stars so I took it. They found a broker and then the broker canceled because the driver had a stroke. They got another company who was gonna drive it. They wasted no time and really was right there for me.

We reserved a day and time with Montway online and got confirmation but we were never informed that there's a gap when our car could possibly be picked up. It was not picked up when it was supposed to and we had to leave the state. Our car was still back at the house we sold so we had it at our neighbor's house and it kinda inconvenienced him. My husband wasn't very happy with that process. The car was picked up three days later and everything was fine then. It arrived as scheduled and the driver who drove our car was always in contact and communicated with us, which was really nice. Also, the quote was very reasonable and we didn't get any unexpected charges. We would still recommend the company even with that little glitch.

Montway did a transport from Florida to California, and the customer service, communication and delivery were great.

Montway's quote was much more reasonable than most. For an open carrier, I had quotes as high 1,650, but theirs was around 1,150. They transferred my car from New Hampshire to Florida and the fellow who did it was great. While he didn't keep in contact during transport, he let me know when he was coming and then he contacted me. Somebody was gonna meet him down here in Florida, so he contacted that person with no problem. My friend was very pleased with him and the car came in good shape.

I moved from Illinois to Colorado and I needed to ship my Ford Fusion. Montway responded back quickly and their price was fair. I had a very nice and responsive rep who answered all of my questions. I wasn't sure about a couple of things and he was patient. I was also given a fair quote. My brother received the vehicle because I hadn't moved here yet. It all went very smoothly. The transport truck couldn't fit down on the street he lived on. The driver called and my brother met him and got the vehicle. It was very smooth. Montway was great and it was a good experience overall. If I ever had to do this again, I would absolutely use them.

I bought a 1990 Mustang from an auction and needed it shipped from Indiana to Illinois. I had an agent check out 10 companies and Montway's was the price that I liked. I filled out the application over the internet then they called me and emailed too. I could understand what the people on the phone were saying and everything worked out. The whole process was quick. I just had to schedule the day to get the Mustang picked up and it was picked up the same day. I have photos of the car and when it was dropped it off, there was nothing different about it. The quote I was given was accurate and I paid them with one of my cards. It was an awesome experience.

I'm in the medical field and I travel. Since my contract was in California and I was currently in Connecticut, I needed to have my car shipped. After a few simple Google searches, I found that Montway had good reviews. They had a good process. I just wish they could have given more phone call updates. They sent emails regarding updates of the process, but I would have been a little more comfortable with everything if I could have gotten a phone call while waiting for a company to agree to pick up my car. They could have said, “We're still looking and waiting for somebody to be assigned to pick up your vehicle. But as of right now, we're still on schedule.” Most people don't ship cars so it's not like people are used to this.

Montway had some good reports online. I called them up and they were pleasant. I spoke with a man and he told me what would happen and when I would be contacted, and it all went according to plan. I got a message in the timeframe that he said. The only thing that I was not happy about was, I went online and got a quote. And then I called the next day or the day after to set it up, and the quote was not the same. We were shipping the car from Vegas to Kinston, North Carolina, which is 2,400 miles. The first quote was 1,100 something, but then when I got back to it, it was 1,300 something. I would be happy if it were less. The rep said, “Well, they're only good for 24 hours.” I'm sure that might have been someplace in the small print, but it would’ve been very small I didn't like that, but it didn’t make me say, “Well, I'm gonna be with somebody else.”

We sell classic cars. We needed help delivering a car from Michigan to Sacramento and Montway's quote was right and close. I had to pay 50 bucks more to get a truck earlier and I didn't argue with that. I've had guys try to bump me 300 for it. The delivery driver from Montway was very pleasant. He had a nice, new truck, and he did a good job. He got it there a day before anticipated too. Everything was done well.

I had to give them a deposit when the car was picked up and then I paid the balance when the car arrived and I picked it up. I really liked the driver. He was very nice, courteous, and went out of his way to deliver the car later in the evening just so I could have it that day. It was all good. I wish my moving company that brought all my stuff here was as good as Montway, because it wasn't.

Montway got back to me more among the other companies that I considered to transport a vehicle across the country from Sacramento to North Carolina. I asked for a number and their rep gave it to me. Their quote was about $150 cheaper than what I was receiving and it was accurate. The transport took about five days. I had a fairly large window of time so it was fine. The divers were very professional. They came out when they were supposed to and they communicated to let me know where they were and what time they would be here. The vehicle was just as I left it when I gave it to the driver. So they did a good job.

Montway was referred by a family friend. I was moving from Boston to Texas. The rep was nice and helpful. Montway was transparent with the costs and everything else. I was trying to factor in how much it would cost had I driven down and stayed at hotels, gas money and everything else. It would have been cheaper, but then it would have put almost 2,000 miles worth of driving on my car. The cost was reasonable. My Toyota Camry got picked up on Wednesday and the shipment took five days. Montway said it could take anywhere from five to seven, so they were accurate with that. The carrier driver told me to take pictures just to have a record.

I had a Corvette that had to be moved from one place to another and Montway came up quick on the internet so I picked them for the transport. Their rep was very helpful and very nice. Also, the driver was very friendly and has a good sense of humor. That's very important to me.

Montway's service was awesome. I bought a new vehicle and I needed it transported 2,000 miles. Everything was fantastic. Montway had a good driver and a good representative. They had a fair price and the delivery was faster than I thought as well. It was one day earlier. I'm happy with it.

We had Montway transport our vehicle about 3,000 miles from San Diego to Jupiter Florida. I dealt with the gentleman who drove my car to my home and he was brilliant. He came and picked up the car at my job and dealt with my employees. On delivery day, he couldn't directly to my home because we live in a country road and he had a big truck. I told him that I would come out and meet him. But he then told me that he would come get me, drive me back to his truck and then I could drive home from there. He was tired but still, he was courteous and kind. If I needed to have auto service, I would totally use Montway and recommend it to anybody who asks which company I use.

I was moving from New York to Dallas and I needed to ship three cars. I used one company to ship one car then I went to Montway for two others. They're all the same because I've done it quite often. Those guys are brokers, and then they take their cars and put them out their aggregators. Montway might say they're not that, but it’s not a bad thing. It's just what they are. However, it's difficult. What makes it difficult is the route to pick up six cars, and sometimes the person is not there to pick the car up. They tell you they're going to be there Wednesday at 12:00 and they don't get here until Thursday or Friday.

Before I went with Montway Auto Transporters, I was working with a competitor and the price that was quoted on their website went up by $100 when they contacted me. There was a little bait and switch so I told them "No thank you" and contacted Montway. They gave me a window when they would pick my vehicle up and they missed that date by a day. If I needed them to pick up the vehicle then because I was moving, that would have been a problem for me. Still, they made up lost time on the road and delivered my vehicle on the day they said they were gonna deliver it. The car was not scratched and there were no issues with the transport itself. It was as expected and they did all they could do.

Montway's rep was good. The driver stayed in communication. He was very professional. It was really a very good experience overall.

I have two houses and I wanted to move some cars. I looked Montway up and it said it had the best rating so I went that way. Their customer service team was very professional. There was no hassle. They did everything they said. They were great. The quote was reasonable so I agreed. They couldn't get up my street because it's a small street, but the delivery of my car was handled perfectly. That was a good communication tool that they have. Their process was very good. The person I chatted with gave me a link and told me what it was. I clicked on the link and did whatever I needed to do to get signed up. I then went back to chat with the rep.

When the car was picked up though, I wasn't notified. Still, once I got the driver's info, I was able to work with him. Montway subcontracted my move. Communication was great when they were getting my business. Once they got it though, they throttled communication back.

I love Montway's customer service. Their quote was a little higher but it seems like they were a reliable service, so I went ahead with it. I had them transport a Kia, and it took five days. It was excellent. I thought it was gonna be more days. Also, the driver was great. He was very customer service oriented and very professional. He lets me up-to-date as to where he was with my car. My car is also the same as when he took it. I was very thankful for the service. Go with them. They provide reliable, friendly, and professional service.

I used Montway before for a motorcycle transportation. It was coming from California to Texas a few years back and it was covered. It was picked up on time, delivered on time, and there were no issues. Recently, I was picking up a classic car. It's a Triumph 1969 Spitfire and I had to transport it from Maine to Texas. Due to my previous experience, I went back to Montway. Their customer service was good but we had one issue with the first transporter. They already picked up several vehicles at the time and the car would not sit on their bed since there was not enough space for it, even though it's a very small car. But the customer service at Montway managed to get me another transporter. We were a few days delayed but they found the right transporter and the car was delivered safely. When I needed help, there was help on the phone, too.

I got a quote from Montway and two other companies for the transport of my personal vehicle from California to Georgia and I picked Montway based on reviews I found on the internet. The main issue that I had was whenever I scheduled the service, I told them on my initial call that I needed the car picked up on or before September 3rd because that was my moving date. I thought that was understood. But they put my earliest pick-up date as September 3rd instead. I had to find someone who was able to coordinate the car pick up because I had to leave California on the 3rd. But besides that, everything was communicated clearly and the transfer was done in a good timeframe. Also, the car didn't have any kind of problems whenever I picked it up. The quote I was given was very accurate and it's a good price for the service they provide. If I needed service again, I'd go to Montway first before any other company.

I used Montway to move a car from Winston-Salem to Holly Springs, North Carolina. The customer service was good. The time to drive the car from there to here took an hour and a half. They called when they were picking it up, and then they got here about an hour and a half later.

I wanted my mom's Hyundai. When I called several companies, they all knew it was a delicate situation with my mom passing, but the others contacted me daily, which I found annoying. Unlike the other companies, Montway Auto had great customer service. They were very respectful and they didn't push themselves on me, which I appreciated. They were very helpful too. When I had to call back for more information, they did good. No one was at the house and my brother had to wait. Montway Auto called me and worked with my time frame. They were so efficient and I was surprised, but I was happy. The driver was awesome. He was from New Jersey, and when the gentleman picked up the car, he was great with my brother. When he arrived, he was excellent with me. I went with them because of the reviews I read online. The cost was better than expected as well.

We were in desperate need to get our car home. Someone told my husband about Montway so we called them. The communication back and forth didn’t go well. They gave me one price and then the price changed after a few days. I wasn’t satisfied with that. But I needed my car so we paid the price. Also, I waited for a couple of days to get my car here. But the guy that brought it communicated very well because when he got there to get my car, he called me. And he called me when he would make a stop and let me know he was stopping for lunch so it might be a little delayed. He kept me updated with what was going on getting my car from Tennessee to South Carolina and he made the experience much better. Other than the price change, the transport worked out good.

You would have to be flexible in working with Montway. They were a little cheaper but it was difficult at times to deal with them. They told me the car would be picked up on one day but they tried to change the date several times. When I was making the contract for the car, I explained to them that I was not in Ohio, the place that it was being picked up from, and I physically had to get there. We set the date based on the time that I was going to be in Ohio. I explained to them I was coming from New Jersey but they tried to change the date to a time of day when I wasn't gonna be there.

I bought a car that was 900 miles away and I needed to have it shipped to me, which took less than two days. Montway's service was extraordinary and the price was better than a few others that I checked. I couldn't have asked for more. I’m very pleased.

I Googled them and they were one of the people that answered the phone. I ended up choosing them and the customer service was great. The cost was appropriate as well. I reached out to them and they gave me the driver's cell phone number. They would contact him and see where he was at, keeping an eye on where he was located at, and he would text me and say, “Hey, I'm here.” The driver was super. All in all, Montway is a good transport company. The purchaser who I got the car from explained to me what condition it was gonna be in, and they met my satisfaction.

When I compared all the information I could find in terms of years in business and customer feedback, Montway was acceptable compared to the others. Their price was also okay and it wasn't hard to get to them. I called pretty far ahead of time and they gave me the timeline. My son moved for graduate school and what was really important to me was getting the car there on a particular day for a very short range of days. They were good about saying, “If you need it here in this range, then we need to pick it up by this time and we will assign the route by this week. Even though you're saying 1,2,3 go now, you won't hear anything until the week before when we assign the driver.” Everything they said was fine. I started getting emails and text messages of what they were doing.

We contacted Montway via chat at 7 o'clock in the morning and they answered right away. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they answered. Also, the quote they gave me was very accurate. They said the delivery was gonna be Thursday and they came on Saturday but they were very communicative about that so that's okay. I was going across the country and things happen.

I bought a new car that was located in Louisiana and I needed to ship it to California. Montway's online reputation was good. They had a lot of positive reviews. They also had a very competitive price. Their reps were proactive and they got back to me on time. They were very good salespeople. For the most part, the quote was accurate. There was a last-minute change of $50, which was slightly annoying, but on a $1,200 deal, it was not that big of a deal. The driver was phenomenal. He was very thorough with his communication and he was very on point. It was a five-star delivery.

I bought a four-door Chevrolet sedan and needed it shipped 1,200 miles. When I was looking for a car transport, I used uShip and different companies bid to transport my car. There were a couple of them that I contacted who turned out to be illegitimate businesses. I looked for reliable auto transport companies and I found Montway and AmeriFreight. I contacted AmeriFreight first and they gave me a low quote. However, when it was time to book the transport, that quote went up substantially. I went to Montway and someone came online to chat with me. The rep efficiently got down to business and they transported my car for me. The quote I got was very accurate and the timeframe of the move worked out fine for me.

Our experience with Montway was fine. There were a lot of people out there that were cheaper, but other than that, it was good. Montway's representatives did very well and they were good about getting back to us. I was supposed to actually agree to the contract, and I did but it didn't look like it had gone through. They were Johnny-on-the-spot and did a good job. I particularly liked the guy who picked up our car. I said that there's a Walmart nearby and that it'll be a lot easier for him. He did a really great job and he spent some time explaining things to us.

I read a review about Montway that steered me that way, and I ended up booking through Montway's actual website rather than through uShip. All the communication was done online and it was great for me. They charged me what the quote was exactly and the timeframe was better than expected. But one comment I would have is that they've called me on the phone at least twice and then they've also emailed me other requests to review their service. My suggestion would be to quit bugging customers or at least make an effort to bug them once and then leave them alone.

We had three cars to move but only two drivers. The delivery was a bit of a problem in that the cars were delivered to my daughter's house because we had not arrived in the state. They delivered them to my daughter's account. She unwittingly signed the bill of lading saying that there was no damage, but there was some. So, I contacted Montway, and they said, "Sorry. The bill of lading, the delivery confirmation was signed. Therefore, too bad, you can't do anything about a claim," which was unreasonable and unfair. Apparently, the claim has to be with the independent contractor that drove the truck and not with Montway. However, they could have intervened. If they contracted with this driver, they could have done something other than just tell me to try to figure it out myself. They picked the car up and dropped it off on time. It's just that there was damage to the car that they won't take care of.

The lady from Montway was really helpful. She got a quote very fast. We had other quotes and she took care of matching whatever price we needed. We also looked at their reviews online and they had good ones so we went with them. The driver was very fast and professional and the quote was very accurate. Everything was good.

I had purchased a vehicle in Georgia and I needed it moved to Ohio. We used Montway and they were good. The quote went up 100 bucks. But the quality of the vehicle when it arrived was fine.

Other than those, it worked out real well with Montway. They found somebody to do the transport and the guy that did the transportation was wonderful.

Also, the vehicle's condition was perfect on the delivery. Everything looked like it did when I left the vehicle to be transported. The driver was quite friendly. He had a delay but he kept me informed during the process.

I moved from Hawaii to South Carolina so I had my car shipped. The quote I got from Montway was good. The transport took about a month. The driver drove from west to east so the car was dirty but it wasn't damaged. I can live with that. Montway has good service. I was not disappointed at all.

He picked the car up from my family in Florida and they said he was a real nice guy. He called a day and a half later and said, "I'm a couple hours outside of Philly. Where can I meet you? At this address, right?" I said, "The address is right but I'm gonna be home not at least 'til tomorrow night, if not, the next day." He said it was not a problem, that he'd wait around at the local truck stop or he'd see if he could drop off another car or pick one up in the area. He also told me to let him know when I was ready and he'd come meet me.

We started to do the research and looked at some of those. The high ones were far too high and with the low ones, there were a lot of additional fees that weren't upfront that might come into the cost at the end. Their rep and I talked about what I needed and they made the arrangements. They had a driver arranged within 36 hours and what they quoted was what we paid.

Montway is reliable, dependable, and very affordable. I had my car transported from Texas to Georgia. I looked into five transport companies and researched the prices. Montway was the cheaper one. I did an online process to start. They called right away to give a quote and the online quote I got was exactly the same. Then I ended up filling everything by phone. Once they did the deposit, they set up a transport service five days later. After that, it went pretty quickly.

He was very helpful, very informative and stayed in contact the entire time. He communicated really well. Because the truck was loaded, the pickup took a little bit longer by an hour. The transport took five days and I would use the service again.

I shipped my SUV from Atlanta to Texas. It was put on the back on the lower part of the truck and I questioned why it was in the back but the driver assured me that nothing would happen to my car. My car was damaged. It was delivered with the luggage rack all smashed in on both sides. I called Montway and they told me that I would have to go through the company but I don't know who was the broker they used to get my car. There was nothing they can do about it and I will have to file a claim through my insurance company.

The communication with Montway was a little bit spotty at first. I had to transport my father's car from Florida to Rhode Island and the first agent I spoke to didn't explain everything to me so I was surprised by a few things. For one, they're a broker and they deal with local companies all over. I didn't know that. The other thing was the method of payment and the cancellation policy weren't explained to me upfront. I didn't feel like the first agent I spoke to gave me good information. He was more anxious to book it.

Everything went pretty smoothly. It took maybe a week to get Montway to commit but once they found a driver for the vehicle, it was just a couple of days. The only thing was once I booked and they were finally going to pick up the car, the price was maybe $50 more than they quoted. I don't know how that happened, but they changed the price from the online price.

I needed to have the car transported to where I live which is just an hour away. I was about to have surgery and I wanted to make sure the car was in my driveway. Montway was the cheapest so I went with them. There was a little confusion though. They have to get on board with what's going in the company and finding out where they gotta go, pick up the car and drop it off. That was the only mix-up we had. The cost was good. I like the way they split it up ‘cause that helps a lot. Overall, the experience was good. The vehicle arrived in perfect condition.

I was contacted by one of their CSRs and she was awesome. She gave me a way to contact her and she kept in touch with me throughout the process. She took ownership of the deal. I chose to go with them because of her customer service.

I was happy with Montway. There were no glitches from pickup to delivery. They did the transport from California to Florida in 3 days and it went great. They wouldn't come into my street for the delivery because it was too narrow so they kinda stopped at the McDonald's around the corner and I went out and picked it up. The cost went up slightly because I had a bunch of luggage in the car. They said that they had to charge for the weight of the luggage a couple hundred bucks.

I have used Montway twice. The last one took four days. The only problem I had was that I paid for a set pick-up time and day. It wasn't until like two hours before that it was actually picked up that I had any communications from them, as opposed to me having to call them and try to figure out where they were at.

Montway has addressed my concerns and I am pleased to change my review from four to five stars. I would use them again for auto transport.

I had an ‘89 Porsche which I was giving to my grandson and I needed to transport it about 80 miles down there. I compared three transport options then I went with Montway because their price was good and they could do it quickly. Things went pretty smoothly and their service was a good value. But they came a day late and we were a little disappointed they didn’t get it on the day they promised. Just had too much going on. But that was the only problem that I had and once arriving, the driver was good. They handled the car with care and my grandson said it was handled well down there, too.

I bought a car in New York and wanted it in Tucson, Arizona. Montway was able to do the service when I wanted it and their price was very reasonable. Their rep was very knowledgeable and answered any questions that I had. He did a good job. The price was good and it was accurate. I had a friend that lives in Tucson that was there and met the driver. We had a little glitch on the address. Either Montway or I transposed the address numbers from 585 to 855. But when the driver called my friend in Tucson, she corrected it and there was no problem. The transport took five days from the time it left New York to Tucson.

I was picking up a car in Scottsdale, Arizona. The guy down there said he was having trouble getting a shipper. So, I called Montway and I set it up with them to pick the car up in Arizona and bring it back here to Plymouth. After that, I called and got a quote because I was looking at another car in Seattle. They gave me a quote that I was happy with to bring the car here to Michigan, but the deal fell through.

I needed to transport a car from Vancouver, Washington to Michigan. I checked out two of companies and based on their price and timing, I went with Montway. Their reps were very good and kept me up to date about what was going on. They informed me where the vehicle was and got back in touch with me when I was asking them about where it was while I was timing and when it was going to be arriving. The quote that they gave me was also good and the transport from beginning to end took six days. I thought it was going to be longer. The driver who picked the vehicle up delivered it to me and our interaction was very good. The vehicle was a little dusty when it arrived, but I could see why. Other than that, it was fine. I would recommend going with Montway to anybody else. They have very competitive pricing and their reps are very responsive to customer service needs.

Montway had a better rating, but it infuriated me that I had to pay $400 more to pick the day that I wanted to transport the vehicle. I had a schedule I had to meet. Instead of being a four-day delivery, I needed it in a single day. Another 100 bucks would’ve been fine. The quote was supposed to be 800 bucks but instead, it was $1,200. The transporter also came in the evening because they had some other stuff that he was doing. That really aggravated me. I don't care if he came at night and that would have been fine. But the delivery day was fine. The transport took a couple of days and it was perfect because we were in the house where it was gonna be delivered.

We have a summer home in Maine, and we ship cars back and forth from Maine to Chicago twice a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall. That's about 1000 miles. I've been using Van 3 for the last 10 transfers. I've been doing this for about eight years, and I used a couple of other companies as well. However, I was super frustrated with Van 3 because the cars just go missing.

I looked at transport companies since I didn't want our daughter driving cross-country alone back to college. Montway's salespeople were obnoxious but the industry doesn't have the best reputation because of all these brokers out there fighting for your business. And these brokers are not good to deal with, whether it's Montway or some other company. The only incentive the broker has is to close the deal and they don't care about customer service as far I can tell. There's no incentive for them to give you a price that's realistic and they're just going to give you a price that is going to get you on the hook. And the pricing can be very problematic in this business because they'll try to lowball you in, then all sudden, all these other charges come up after you've committed and so on. So it's a bad brokerage experience.

I have a couple issues that I wish did not happen. But we received our cars and everything was fine. The rep was very professional. I called three weeks to a month in advance to reserve the time and date, so that I knew exactly what they needed and what would happen because we had a certain timeline and window. I was three or four days out from the date when we knew that we would need it, and I had to start calling Montway because I wasn't hearing anything. I was like, "I wanna confirm. Are my cars gonna be picked up?" I had to call multiple times. There was a lack of follow-up as the transport got closer to the date. And then when I called, they were just like, "Oh, yeah. We don't know. We're still waiting for someone to pick up the order."

I was moving from Texas to California and I didn't want to drive my car there, so I figured I could get it transported. I looked at maybe two or three moving companies because I thought that they had different departments that could handle my packaged stuff and then my car. One or two of them had that service but it seemed like they weren't servicing me. I googled "the best car transport services" and I saw an article that highlighted at least four different car transportation companies. The article highlighted each company as being good for a different purpose depending on what’s most important to you, and Montway was one of the first listed.

I needed to transport my vehicle for 2,088 miles. I looked into 4 companies and Montway responded to my request because I was looking for a way to transport my car right away. Their price was also very competitive and was lower that the other quotes that I got. Then, when I called and talked with them, their customer service was excellent. The gentleman who handled the transport was very nice, too. He couldn't speak much English, so it was hard to talk with him, but he understood me. But he had an 18-wheeler and I lived in an apartment, so he couldn't come into my complex. I had to drive my car out to meet him, but it was fine.

I went on a website that listed top transport companies, to go through for things like customer service and satisfaction and they were listed as the top one with price and customer. The sales representative that I've talked to on the phone to set it up was awesome. It was a lady and she was quick and precise, and to the point with everything and was cut-and-dry about coverage, 'cause I had a lot of questions about that. She was able to help me out quite a bit along the way and make sure I wasn't left with questions at the end of the phone call.

The representatives at Montway were helpful. They're very good. They did the work for me and the quote was reasonable. It wasn't cheap or too expensive. The driver was a good guy. They picked it up in Springfield one day and it was on my doorstep the next day. The car was the same condition as I left it. It's a good service. They're reliable and quick.

Whereas I've been two weeks with another company and haven't heard a peep.

They were in constant communication with me about it. For the delivery, the driver was very thorough, seemed to know what he was doing, and very courteous. I was surprised that the transport took only four days. There must have been multiple drivers in the truck and they switched driving because it was almost 3,000 miles. That’s a lot of driving every day. And then, the quote was exactly what I paid. I was very happy with the service. I would use them again should the need arise.

I called Montway then we made a plan. They were able to meet my requested pickup date and they delivered in Seattle a few days earlier than I expected which I liked. The initial quote and the final cost matched. The driver was communicative. They called us the day before they were going to drop off the vehicle which was helpful. Everything went smoothly and it was enjoyable working with them.

Montway's customer service was right awa. They were precise and informative. They explained everything to a tee plate. And the transport was a lot quicker than I thought it would. The driver was quick on responding. He changed scheduled time four times so I had to move my schedule around a few times. And then he got here. I ended up helping him find a place to turn around the car. But he seemed pretty high energy. I was like, "You've had some Red Bulls, haven't you?" It was late at night. He did get it there late at night, though.
