Purchased a used truck two years ago. Was told it had, not been in an accident backed up by a Carfax report. I found out later that it had been in an accident in 2014 in Baton Rouge La, It cut the value of the truck in half by KBB report. Sent a registered letter to the GM and he told me whoever gave me the info on the vin number was not a reputable source. That is why they only use Carfax. He had no concern about the info I shared about my problem on the truck value. Told me to bring it in and would give me full value. The person assigned to help me, asked what Carvana offer was, his offer was less. They don't care about their customers, will tell anything to close a deal. So, check out the vin yourself and don't believe the Carfax report. I also contacted Carfax and they still telling me no accidents, even though I have accident report in hand. Have found out dealers will sell a vehicle with accident if Carfax gives them report No accidents.
