I recently paid off my car loan back in 2/2016. I have contacted the DMV daily since 3/1/2016 and have been told they haven't received my title release from the finance company. Yesterday I contacted the finance department's customer service department where I was left on hold for an hour to be told that I will receive my title release in the mail in 10 business days after my payment has cleared. I explained to the representative that my car was paid off on 2/19/2016 and it's now 4/4/2016. I then advised her that there is nothing to mail. They are suppose to electronically release the information to my county DMV so I can walk in and get my title, I requested to speak to a manager, she advised ok and placed me on hold for another 35 mins. During my wait the rep kept picking up and not saying anything and then would place me back on hold when I would say hello.
I finally was able to speak to a manager who advised me that they sent the release to the Florida DMV. I asked her when. She was unable to answer me. I asked her if the rep told her what the issue was, as I have worked customer service before and the rep should have explained what was going on before she came to the line. I explained to her that from 3/1/2016 till 4/4/2016 I have contacted the DMV daily and they have told me the same thing. They don't have the release. I have had nothing but trouble with Bev Smith Kia since the day my father and I purchased my car back in 2012. This company has horrible customer service and management.

The seat is too low for me since I am short. This is because of the front seat passenger airbag. If I had known this before I would have waited for the 2016. Have no problem with the driver seat.

My shopping experience at Bev Smith KIA was both friendly and productive and I would like to commend the attitude and capability of your Mr. Austin **, the sales representative who assisted me. He may be young but he's good and I envision a bright future for him in either sales and/or management. He is a highly presentable, knowledgeable and very helpful individual who is a pleasure to work with. That being said, I was in retrospect very disappointed in one particular area. I foolishly failed to check what documentation was being provided to me before I left your premises. I have since found out your office personnel retained almost everything I saw or signed except for a copy of the Buyers Order, Agreement and Vehicle Information Form and the Sixty Day Limited Used Car Warranty. I would have liked to have had a copy of the basic sales proposal, the Carfax Report, any maintenance records, and a copy of all the papers I signed for my files.
I recognize that almost all the papers I signed were designed to legally protect your organization and I have no problem with that procedure. I am however, decidedly uncomfortable with not having a copy of contractual documents that I have signed. If possible, I would greatly appreciate it if you would forward me a copy of the aforementioned documentation. Additionally, I have yet to receive the Title for the car. Can you advise me as to when it will be available?
I would also like to acknowledge the capabilities of your detailing crew. It is only now that the scuffs and cracks in the leather interior and the scratches on the cars exterior are starting to show up. They did an outstanding job and although I wish I had access to their techniques and knowledge I would happily settle for a list of the products they used so I could try to duplicate their efforts. Once again my overall experience was highly favorable and I would most definitely deal with the Bev Smith organization again.

I have had my Optima for just over a year and have 32,000+ miles on it. Love the car and the service has been great. Scott is my service advisor and is always pleasant and very efficient. I will most likely replace my Optima with another Kia when the time comes. Recently had to rent a Camry for a couple days and must say I feel my Optima is a more solid feeling vehicle and much quieter on the road. Overall very impressed with both my vehicle and with Bev Smith Kia.

I've had regular maintenance performed at Bev Smith Kia many times over the past few years. For every maintenance, each step along the way was a pleasant experience, up to, and including receiving the bill. They are a fine bunch of people to do business with.

Filed against: Bev Smith Kia, 5655 S US Highway 1 Fort Pierce FL 34982-7373. They do not want to honor our deal for no out of pocket expenses for any servicing or maintenance requirements of the vehicle for five years. Less than a year ago I purchased my second Kia a 2015 Optima within a year's period from the purchase of my 2014 Sportage. Knowing how much routine maintenance costs for my first Kia I would only make a deal with the night manager who I was turned over to by the salesperson who could not authorize any special deal. After an hour of negotiating he finally agreed to my terms of no OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES FOR FIVE YEARS, NO MATTER WHAT WAS WRONG OR REQUIRED.
The deal was finally accepted at 9:30 pm that night and we were the last ones in the dealership, all others left including the night manager. Only our salesperson stayed with us to take delivery of the car. One day later the dealership call us to come in to straighten out the contract as they did not understand it. We went in and met with the financial guy and after two hours we agreed on what the negotiations of my deal were. He explained it back to me as written and it said exactly what it was supposed to when I agreed to the purchase. The finance guy said he had a special note in my file to explain what my deal was.
My first service of the vehicle was uneventful with no charges whatsoever but the second service the dealership wanted to collect over two hundred dollars for servicing my car. After an embarrassing confrontation with the service people in the waiting room insisting that I had to pay I asked to see the finance guy who came out and told the service personnel that I was not to be charged and that ended a four hour uncalled for situation.
My third service was uneventful and I paid nothing. The fourth service I went through the same nonsense as the second service. When I again asked for the finance guy to straighten out the confusion once and for all I was told by the service manager that he passed away and my contracts could not be interpreted. The service manager said that he seen in his computer that one of my contracts was canceled but he was unable to decipher the content or why it was canceled.
Again they put me through hell telling me that the manager who OK'd my deal was no longer with the company, the finance guy who re-wrote the understandable explanation for my file passed away suddenly and the last manager who gave the OK based upon the finance guys explanation of what my deal was let go. What kind of business doesn't honor deals made by their employees and/or representatives because they left or passed away?
The basic issue was wheel alignment which was maintenance for Bev Smith's Tires and Batteries for life advertisement on TV by owner Frank Gonzalez. I watched that ad many times and I never once heard that to get the Tires and batteries for life it was required that you pay a maintenance fee of approx. $200+ dollars every other maintenance visit. How do you interpret this as FREE TIRES AND BATTERIES FOR LIFE?
Anyway the key is that I included all maintenance in my deal no matter what it was and if this was maintenance required to get Tires and Batteries for life I am covered and the paperwork in my file which they now say is not there and I was told that could possibly be the cancellation that they seen on the computer but can't read. I've been on the phone with the current manager and the strange reference I get is "Well the people who made this deal aren't here anymore." He added, "I can't honor this deal as it would cost me money." I purchased two cars from Bev Smith Kia and sent them four potential buyers of which two purchased vehicles.
I will no longer recommend anyone to Bev Smith Kia. I contacted the owner's office who does the TV commercials to speak with him and after completing a form regarding my situation and their promised phone call back. I have never been contacted by anyone. I would not recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from Bev Smith Kia due to the fact that if anyone quits, gets fired or passes away Bev Smith Kia obviously feels that they have no responsibility left with that unfortunate buyer.
I want Bev Smith Kia to honor its agreement made with me to get me to buy a car. Furthermore if there is a maintenance fees required to get tires and batteries for life from any of Bev Smith's dealerships it should specifically say that in their TV commercial. Figure it out, $200.00+ for approx. 4 visits over 60,000 miles you could buy your own tires and have a lot of money left over. Stop trying to cheat me out of what I negotiated and paid for. You AGREED TO FIVE YEARS FREE STANDARD AND REQUIRED MAINTENANCE SERVICE AND THAT IS WHAT I WANT. I've had enough, just do what you agreed to.

We told him we were just getting an oil change. He ask how we liked our car. We told him we would prefer an automatic so he got a great a sales associate Frank. He got us into a car we like better. It took too long for the new car to get processed for delivery. I was there from 9 to 2:30. I went initially for the recall on my 2012 Sorento, I got talked into upgrading by Noelia. After I got convinced, I had to wait for a long time for the new car to be processed.

OK... my girlfriend brought in her new car for service and noticed a few days later that her GPS was missing. She called and they said they would discuss and call back. 6 days went by and no return call. She called today and they asked for a receipt of the GPS. I bought it for her and forwarded the receipt to her email. POOR SERVICE!! And how dare they even ask for a receipt. They freaking took it...
We regret the customer's recent misfortune. This incident was brought to the attention of the dealership management. After thoroughly looking into the matter, there is nothing that leads us to believe the disappearance occurred at our location. We have spoken with the customer and come to an agreement of good will. We value our customers and when their vehicles are in our possession we take every precaution to make sure the vehicle and it's contents are returned as it was given to us.

I had one brief instance of my car not starting and took the car that day, without an appointment to see if they could fit me in. I was told to come back at 3:30, that the car would be checked and I could pick it up later before closing. It was, in fact, the battery, and they changed it, after calling me. I was very happy to not have to worry about that!

The Kia Staff was very kind and courteous. They made me feel at home, made sure I was comfortable. They were very patience, explained everything carefully, answered all my questions, even came to pick me up when I needed a ride. Called the next day to see if I were happy with the car, let me know if I needed anything or have questions I could call at any time. Went in for an oil change with an appointment. Got 2 new tires and a new air filter. Scott showed me the old air filter also. Time spent there was reasonable and Scott was great as usual. I NOW have bought a 2015 KIA Sportage LX with the EVO package and it's supposedly the same "class" of crossovers and the KIA Sportage is 4X times the car my Buick was!!! The day we visited Bev Smith Kia everyone was very busy, a good sign of a successful establishment and a good sign of satisfaction. Busy or not we were greeted by a friendly salesman who was occupied with another customer but he introduced us to Rondell who immediately welcomed us and inquired how he could help. From the outset Rondell was courteous and friendly, knowledgeable about his product and spent a lot of time with us. Everyone at Kia couldn't make us any more welcome.

Scott and Amanda are two of the best people when it comes to making the customer feels comfortable and understand what work is being done, and what's recommended to help you keep your car running great, and always ask if you want your car wash. Our shopping experience was a joy. We came in looking at one vehicle because the Cadenza we didn't think was in our price range to begin with. Rodney and Ranger were our salesmen. I feel Ranger went out of his way to help us find the car we were looking for. Charlie was our finance guy and he was very easy to work with and we didn't have to spend countless hours trying to get to a number we all could agree on.

We received a mailer as well as a email stated that Bev Smith was having a upgrade event. We went and spoke with Jeremy. He was EXTREMELY RUDE. The email we got said the limited started at 21,700. He said that it was wrong he couldn't change a 36,000 vehicle into a 21 thousands dollar vehicle. Then he accused us of coming to start an argument. No Jeremy we came in to buy a vehicle. With credit rating in the high 700 I don't think that would be a problem.
I also want to say Jeremy was so nasty he rudely got up and said he was getting someone else to deal with us and then went and talked about us to all the other staff. Very unprofessional. I don't think BEV or the SMITH family would be very happy about Jeremy's behavior. I do not recommend anyone going to buy a car from them. I am in the customer service related biz and never have I been treated this bad but my husband has been in the military for 26 years and he has never been treated like that.

I've had 4 different experiences with this dealership and each time it was horrible. They will not stand behind their flyers and when you don't accept the crap they are spewing, they get angry and storm off like a scorned teenager. For example, the internet manager **, he tried to tell me that I couldn't use the "check" that came in the same envelope as the flyer. Nowhere did it state that I had to use one or the other. I asked if they price match and ** told me yes, that was another lie that flew out of his mouth. I hate that place and this is only the beginning of me telling everyone about this place.

I was at Bev Smith Kia to check on my tire and oil change. I tell you services were excellent. Lady by the name ** greeted me, looked up my car, listened to my complain, set my car ready to go within 5mins of being there even tho I have no appointment. She told me the car will be ready in like an hour and half. But it was done in about 55 mins. While waiting at the Lobby, they provided me with refreshments and constantly checking on me asking if I was ok, whether I need more coffee, tea, hot cocoa or cookies. I was especially impressed and will always go there for my car maintenance even my non Kia vehicles.

Scott was very nice to fit me in. I needed an oil change and I was in Ft Pierce. I live in Vero Beach and it's hard to get to Ft Pierce, but Scott always is nice and understands. Not a bad wait and everyone is friendly. Glad I bought my car there.

Sunroof had defect... I arrived early for my appointment and was taken right away and was finished way before time promised. Car was washed and vacuumed as well. Never been more satisfied with a dealership!!!!!!!!!

Service Department is rude! My mother bought two vehicles. She did not want to spend an hour waiting for an oil change and tire rotation so she got upset. I saw this and also got upset. Now, almost a year later they refused to service my car! They intentionally let me sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes before the service manager told me they wouldn't service my car! Jerks!

My mom is 79 years old. For the past month, a salesman from Bev Smith Kia in Fort Pierce has been calling her wanting to "make a deal" with her. She leased a 2012 Kia Sportage and was about 18 months into a 3-year lease. She only put 5,000 on the car to date. She told them she wanted to buy them out of her lease because she has this idea that owning the car is better. Well, a snake named Mike sold her the car she had been leasing. The Blue Book value is $15,500 and he sold it to her for $19,000. Mike gave her zero credit for the $5,500 she had already made in lease payments. They gave her a 6 year loan at a 4% APR.
This "deal" was made with my mom on Sunday 02Nov2014. She returned to the dealership the next morning and Mike told her he could not let her out of the deal because he had already sent off the paperwork. (Right!). She pleaded with him and he told her he would let her out of the deal if she had her daughter call him (me). I didn't call because I thought he would be decent enough to let a 79 year-old woman out of this very bad deal.
My mom returned to the dealership again on Wednesday morning and Mike told her the deal was sealed and she would have to live with it "because daughter never called him." My mom left the dealership in tears. I called and could not reach Mike but I left him a voicemail asking him to please void the purchase agreement and let her have her original lease. He never returned my call.
He did call my mother and told her she could buy the car with her own money. So she went over there and he said she could buy the 3-year-old car for $19,500. Keep in mind she has already paid $5,500 in lease payments. My Mom said she could not pay $19,500 for the car and Mike threw the agreement papers at her, went in the hall and called her all kinds of names and everyone could hear it. My Mom left the dealership in tears and she is still, right now, stuck with the 6 year loan at 4% APR and left paying $19,000.
These people at Bev Smith (and even Bev Smith himself if he's going to allow this) are snakes. ALL OF THEM. This is also elder abuse and I am currently looking for an attorney who will help my Mom with this. She can't sleep or eat and is beyond upset about this. She is recently widowed and has very little money and these terrible people at Bev Smith just took her for everything she has and won't let her out of the purchase agreement. NEVER EVER BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE! EVER!!

The dealership made my first appointment for my first service when I bought the car. The appt time was 3 pm on a Saturday. When I arrived I saw many people sitting in the lounge waiting for what I suspected was their car. I asked the service rep as to the time frame to service my car. Her response was it was Saturday and "you know how that goes." I don't give a damn what day it is. If the dealership makes a 3pm appt for an oil change I expect within 15 minutes of my appt for my car to be in the bay getting its oil change. The woman was rude and would not look me in the eye when I asked about the time factor. She just smirked like she didn't give a damn. I will not take my car back to the dealer for an oil change ever. This happened at the Kia dealer in Columbus, GA. My time is valuable and I schedule my day around the appt time THEY made.

My husband & I went to look at some Kia's because the commercial said $0 down & $0 due at signing. We are a one income family at this time & we owned our previous vehicle for 9 years & it wasn't safe I felt to bring our 2 children to & from school. Upon arrival we were greeted & offered a drink which was nice, but when we discussed our limit to spend the salesman said he could work with us. We ended up with a 2012 Kia Sportage and I noticed a scratch on the hood as well as a small paint chip on the bumper, so I pointed it out & the salesman said it could be fixed. We don't have the best credit or the worst either, so we agreed we could pay $385 a month (Too high I think) but my husband wanted to go for it.
When we finally got into the official "office" we discussed a "platinum" package to where if ANYTHING went wrong all we would have to pay is $50 no matter what. So my husband wanted to add that on too because supposedly the 10,000 mile warranty only covers the engine and not wiring, etc. Anyway, when it was all said & done our payments are now $411 a month for a 2012!! I feel like for that, we could be in a brand new vehicle & I am really having second thoughts. We drove home with a loaner car - a decked out Kia Sorento (what I wanted to begin with) & it was a 2014, leather, and all the bells & whistles. We left the vehicle we purchased yesterday so it could be fully detailed and the guy who sold us the extra warranty package said we would get gas too. So needless to say, I picked it up this morning and the scratch was still on the hood & the paint chip was still on the bumper & detailing???
Highly doubtful because it seemed as though it was hosed off and the tires were sprayed with shine. I had to take it as my husband had an appointment to go to, but I mentioned those things to the man who handed me the keys & he said I had to call the guy who sold it to us who would be in later (which I sure will!!!). So, is it just me or does it seem like a lot of bs especially a 2012 Sportage @ $411 a month?? I am NOT stupid by any means, but we needed a reliable car with school coming up, but the more I think about it, the more I feel kinda ripped off. I will talk more to my husband when he is done running around. Btw, his score was 6 hundred something so I truly feel they could have done better especially since they gave us $4,000 for our trade-in. Comments anybody?

I went in to Bev Smith Kia to purchase my vehicle... The experience was great quick and easy (quick in the sense of buying car). I moved out of this area and needed service and was refused by the kia where I lived.... When I came down here with the same problem, they took me in and fixed my issue under warranty like the other kia should have!!! I am a very happy customer.

I received a letter from Frank ** saying that Bev Smith Kia wants to buy back my 2011 Kia Opitima LX for $ 17,500. So my wife and I talked to Chris **, car salesman, and he told us that he would talk to his used pre-owned vehicles manager about selling my car back because my wife can't drive anymore. I bought 2 Kias from Bev Smith, a 2009 Kia Optima LX and a 2013 Kia Soul Exclaim within a 3 years. But Chris ** never called me back. And I received a call from some internet salesman saying that he was offering me $5,000 for my car. I said, "Are you crazy? The car only has 18,300 miles on it and it is in excellent condition." The internet salesman said that he would have to get an answer from the higher ups and he will get back to me and he never did either. I will never buy another car from Bev Smith Kia Ever Again.
