    My Car's warranty will expire once it reaches 60,000 miles. I have bought something they call a motor vehicle club. My boss, Miguel, says that it doesn't cover much, and he recommended Delta Auto Protection. Gave me the number which I called, the lady presented to me the benefits of having Delta, and they were good benefits, you can go off to a zero deductible.     I looked at Delta's reviews and there was not a lot of complaints about it, so acquired an auto warranty from them. I submitted a claim when the rear gearing needed to be changed. The price of the dealer doesn't change, but Delta didn’t want to pay the full amount so I contacted their customer service. When I purchased the extended warranty, they told me, “You can go to any dealer.” They didn’t tell me they matched the price or that I have to pay for the amount. But after I called them they paid for the full amount, so their customer service did what they were supposed to do.

    I have their Diamond Premier plan with them, the best they offer. When they sell this plan, their answer to all questions is it's all covered!!! My mechanic, Auto Medic shop in Illinois, Andy, says he never dealt with worse warranty in his life! I opened a claim, guy calls me back says he is a private investigator and I'm giving him a laundry list! It took over a month for my car to be finished, they sent all aftermarket parts to my mechanic directly without allowing him to buy any parts!

    I own a 2008 bmw X5 with 64k miles on it. I had a front sway bar that was bad and they said it was not covered??? I asked why it wasn't covered, the answer was not all cars have it and that's why it was not covered. My mechanic had to take a picture of their plan, circle the covered part, under #13 in covered parts, and send it to me and them. After arguing to 3 different people, and being switched to an "Yellow Squad", and I have all names and numbers written down, they finally agreed to accept it as a covered item. Dell ** is in yellow squad at ext ** who smoothened things up...

    They shipped the item themselves, after a week of not receiving all parts, my mechanic had to call again and have it resent, it was obviously not sent! I hope none of you people have to deal with this and deal with them! The biggest issue is, if you have a part that's NOT in the "Covered list" and it's NOT in the "Excluded list" then it's NOT covered!!! I would like them to try explaining this to all future clients if they want any of these plans sold!!!

    Also, NO OILS ARE COVERED! If you have any work done on your transmission, differentials, cooling system, NO OILS WILL BE COVERED! They went so far to offer me money back and deny the claim??? Now, I have a rear camera malfunction message, it works on and off... I called them about this, their answer again was, IT IS NOT COVERED! Aron, phone# ** told me this! Like I said, if it's not in the covered list and it's not in the excluded list, they will say it's not covered! I specifically asked about all electronic parts, navigation, gps, camera, since an X5 has so much electronics, when I was buying a plan, they said it was all covered! WHAT HAPPENED??? I decided not to post a review because they asked me not to and assured me they will take care of me!

    Before that I was told: "If you post that review, we hope you have enough personal injury insurance because we will sue you"!!! Is this a customer service? Being threatened? I asked for a supervisor, the guy says: "I'm the ultimate decision maker and there is none above him"!!! This was Ron **, at ext **! When I told him I will post this review, he said "O, you know how to play a game" and he hangs up! Is this customer service? Is this taking care of clients?

    Now, Ryan ** at 866-598-5429, call me wanting to smother this up, saying they paid out more than I paid in??? Ryan, WHY IS THIS MY CONCERN??? I told him I will post a review at consumer affairs and he can reach me there. Now, just a minute ago, another guy calls, trying to prevent this review! People, you decide!!!

    Updated on 03/01/2016: If a guy named RON gets in touch with you, avoid it right away!!! I am not happy with this warranty at all, the way they are treating me and fixing my car! They do everything to avoid a claim. First guy that called me, Ron ** said he hopes I have enough personal injury insurance if I post a review! Then he threatened my previous mechanic, told him he was responsible for my axle going bad because when he changed the oil and seal 6 months ago he didn't do it correctly. He also told my mechanic they have a claim open against him, which was all a lie! They have people like RON hired, deliberately hired, to do this! This is my third time dealing with them, he is the one first point of contact. He told me I was giving him a laundry list! He also told me he was a private investigator and he offered me money back, everything I paid in just to avoid a claim??? Factual? NO WAY!!! DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY!!!

    When we purchased this car my brother said I can get a warranty if it's less than seventy five thousand miles. So, we decided to do that and my son found Delta. Their staff was courteous and truthful. The agent is very nice and he even split up twenty one hundred dollars on three payments which was really helpful because we couldn't have done it without that. The warranty went into effect November 7.

    We took the car to be inspected and the car needed an alternator. It wasn't even a month. Delta covered the vast majority of the alternator and the labor. I read the contract they sent me. They don't pay for routine things like belts or tires and I understand that. Now we have to get towing back from them. I don't know what the process is, a part of that is me being delinquent. And the man, Jessie, was really lovely. He threw in a few extra things which is really nice. The only downside is every time you call them, their computers don't work but they get back to you.

    Two years ago I bought a Mini Cooper. It’s a great car and real nice under warranty, but when it’s not, they’re not so nice to do repairs. In four years, when the factory warranty is up, I’m only gonna have 26,000 miles (if it stays). Not that much should go wrong with the car at that mileage but I figured if I could get into something reasonable that I could afford now that would give me the protection I want, I would consider getting extended because I wanna keep the car.

    I knew that BMW, which is the parent company, have a financing that I could get into before the warranty is up but they told me if I want to pick it up, it’ll cost me $2,500 and will only give me another two years of full protection. I thought it was pretty expensive so I checked several companies, and found Delta Auto to be less expensive. They got it to me for $1,500 that’s good until 2022.

    Delta is very good and Shawn was great. When I called them, they’re there so I felt pretty comfortable, with my only fear being, “Will they be there when I need them?” When I have to use them, they’re gonna be no different than any other insurance company because if a part breaks, it breaks. I got one of these extended warranties for my son's truck for $100 a month. The thing is they were able to use used or reconditioned parts and that’s where they based all their estimates on. If you want it new, then you pay the difference. But with the warranty I got from Delta, I can drive my car up to the BMW dealership if I got a problem and if something needs fixing, it’s an original part, brand new. And that’s what I want.

    I got a Delta Auto Protect extended warranty because the current one I had was going to expire. I looked at a couple of companies and it looked like Delta is the best rated - customer satisfaction seemed to be high. When I spoke to their protection specialist, everything was overall positive. However, despite the initial stuff being that, I had issues afterwards. I had to upload a picture of my odometer, but I couldn't get my picture to go through after multiple attempts. I still have not completed that so I'm not sure how that's going to impact me. They never followed up with me about that. I don't know if anybody really paid attention to anything after I signed up. I thought it was over and done after I signed up and made my payment but had to follow up a bit more which was a sort of a pain. But luckily, I haven't filed any claims to them yet.

    We were getting a used car and wanted to make sure we were covered so we wouldn't have to spend more money later.     I acquired Delta Auto Protect for my daughter. She’s always wanted a Land Rover, but I told her that morning we got her her first car that she would really have to have a high-paying job or marry a very rich person to have a Land Rover. When her car was totaled in an accident, she wasn’t at fault. We happened to find one at a dealership that we trust and we know some of the people that worked there. That was reasonably priced but it was a 20-can Land Rover LR2. We could get it if we get a warranty. So, the insurance company sent us enough to pay for the car and for the warranty, so it worked out fine.

    When we signed up for the policy with them, it was great. It really was. I sent out a bunch of feelers to several different companies. The number one company the people talked about didn’t offer warranties for Land Rovers, but Delta did and their price was reasonable, and it was within what the insurance company was giving us. It worked out okay. The protection specialist was great.

    Once, we had a problem where it wouldn’t start and got towed-in to Triple A Garage. They said the starter was bad. I called the customer service team at Delta Auto to get the process started. The only thing that surprised me was they told me that they didn’t pay for the diagnostics. They ended up covering everything after all and they did a good job.

    My car is currently in the shop and I'm irritated with Delta because the contract implies that it covers everything including the seals and gaskets. So I took my car in for service because the service aid says that I'm due for service. The mechanic said I have an oil leak and that I need to get an upper and lower control arms. Delta agreed to fix the upper and lower control arms but they need to send the part out to the mechanic. So the mechanic has been sitting there and waiting for this part and then I only pay for one day of rental car.

    I've been without a car and they're only willing to reimburse me one day for a car which is completely unrealistic since it took them three or four days to ship the part. The mechanic could have just simply gotten the parts that could have been done. Now they're also refusing to cover the oil leak repair covered under the warranty, saying, "It is an oil cooler" and that it's not a covered component. But the oil cooler is not actually leaking. It's only the seal that goes with the oil cooler. The car can't function without the oil cooler and it sounds like it's a third party aftermarket thing that I added onto it. It's what all cars of that type come with. Now I am inclined to take Delta to mediation or file a lawsuit.

    It's not been pleasant the last two times I dealt with Delta Auto. The very first time I used the service, it worked fine. I was at Crown Audi, they called, took care of it, and I never heard back from Crown. They got paid in good time. Now, I take it to a local guy because I live a long way from the Audi dealership. They were changing my tires when they noticed the bushings were bad. I tried to reach Delta Auto and I couldn't get through. I was getting an answering service and nobody called me back. Then, when I pressed the button for selling new policies, I got somebody right away. I told that person what the problem was and they said they will give it over to somebody else and they would call me. That never happened.

    I called back after a couple of hours, got somebody else, got transferred, and got nowhere again. Finally, Javier got me to somebody that got the mechanic that was standing next to me. They went over what they would do, sent for parts the next day, and fixed the car. Then today, I get a phone call from the mechanic's after over a month saying they can't reach Delta Auto. I called this morning and got a guy after two hours saying he would red flag it. He told me I was fourth which made no sense to me. I told him to call the mechanic, find out, and take care of what needs to be taken cared of. They take money out of my account every month, I'm doing my end, so they got to do theirs. I am not happy with the way things are going at this point. I got this impression that I was being shuffled around, nothing was happening. I'm dissatisfied because the person who told me I was fourth has not called back nor have they called the mechanic shop neither.

    I bought a sports car with an engine that costs $5000. I wanted to be able to protect the engine and so I went to Delta Auto Protect because they were able to give me more mileage coverage for a more affordable rate than anyone else. Customer service thoroughly assisted me, but it was a little complicated because they’re the third party between you and the car dealer and figuring out the balance in the third party was a little hard.

    When I have filed a claim with them it was very easy. I simply had to call and give them information about what was wrong with the vehicle along with the name and number of the auto shop. I gave the auto shop the same information and they called them. I made the mistake of having the oil change at the same time, and so Delta Auto covered the labor and the parts. They did not cover any of the sales tax or any additional parts that were needed, but they covered what was quoted and nothing else. Overall, it was very easy.

I finally had to call them after two months, and they told me to use this one to print off the computer. I said no, because my printer and computer was down at that time, so I couldn’t do it.     Everything was great until my wife was hurt and I needed the money for medical bills so I tried to cancel the contract within the first 30 days which the website clearly states that you can do so with a full refund. When I called to cancel they said, "Okay we will send a confirmation email" and when they did it said they were going to send me a check for $420 less than what I paid (not a full refund). They told me "You need to read the fine print in the contract." It says a $25 processing fee and $250 cancellation fee (where they came up with charging me 420, not a clue). So I had to keep the plan because I am not paying them for nothing. Just makes me wonder if I need to use it will they not honor that either since they already have shown they are not honest people.

    Delta Auto Protect haven’t paid for my car right on time. It sucked because I was waiting for four hours to get my claim. They got my approval of authorization, and when they finished fixing the car and I had to go pick it up, the dealer would not release it unless they received the payment from Delta.     I purchased a vehicle that was out of warranty so I got an auto warranty from Delta Auto Protect because they were less expensive than the others. The gentleman who helped me purchase the policy was fantastic. I had to get a repair done on my vehicle, but they didn't cover the entire 100% of the cost of the repair even though it's supposed to be 100%. I asked them where they would allow that amount and they didn't know any specifics. So they come up with an arbitrary number for how much the repair should cost.     I must have spent 3 good weeks researching various extended auto warranty companies. Delta Auto Protect stood out because of their customer service.
