I purchased a used car with 90-some odd thousand miles on it and I thought of acquiring an auto warranty for it. I went with Delta because of their price. I looked at a lot of different plans, and I felt that for the value that I would get, Delta’s price was amazing. I also had a set of questions and they were able to help me with every question that I had. They made it easy to make a decision and they offer a really good product. But I sold the car not long after I bought it, so I had to cancel the warranty. I didn't get the refund check yet, but I did speak to the cancellation representative. And if I buy another used car and needed an extended warranty for it, I will contact Delta again.

I had some bad experiences with some used cars and things were expensive having no long-range warranty. I ended up losing the whole car because it would cost more to fix it than the car was worth and just took it to the junkyard. It’s one of those things where I felt like I may not need a warranty, but as long as the price doesn’t totally keep me from doing it, it’s a good investment. The last warranty I had was with one of the dealers and was not quite as good as Delta Auto Protect. It was a 36,000-mile warranty and there was a deductible. I paid $2,200 through the dealer for this warranty. The one that Delta had covered more than theirs did and there was no deductible. Delta also covered more mileage of 45,000 and it's another 12,000 miles for less money.
The fellow that I talked to knew right away everything that I asked him and the answers with it. I told him that I would check some other places and he said that he’ll give it to me for $1,400 instead of $1,700 and that he'll make it no deductible if I wanna do it, which changed my mind and I was happy about that option. Then I asked him if he would mail me the policy, and he said he will. I printed it off when I got it so I've got something to carry in my glove box. He was helpful and cordial. He also explained to me that I could take the car to an ASE certified shop or to a dealer and that was cool to me because I got a Mini Cooper and there’s not a lot of shops for that so I’d rather take it to the dealer if I could.
Then it was strange communicating through emails trying to send pictures of my VIN and my license tag. It was intense and took me two hours to sign up. That part was a drag. I just thought if they could figure out a way to do it without pictures. Because as long as the number that was sent matched when they did the repairs on the car, what’s the difference between having a picture of the tag? That just kinda bothered me. But it’s been a pleasant experience all around. I felt good about the price, the coverage, and the deductible. All the correspondence back and forth has been pretty easy. I just bought it and I'm hoping I don’t have to use it. But if I do, I feel like I’ve got something to back me up beside my bank account.

On Saturday last, I came upon a newer Mercedes-Benz that I preferred over my current one. I spent time evaluation the car, visiting with dealer personnel. And eventually we came to terms which were more or less satisfactory... Then I called Delta, they were very agreeable. And we initiated a transfer of the remaining warranty on the 06. It was transferred to the "10.

When I purchased the vehicle at the dealership, they offered me some warranty on my car but it was very pricey. So I shopped around and came across Delta. I called to get a quote and I was planning on going with them because the price they gave me was cool. I gave my account information to the rep I talked to and he told me that if I waited until the next day the price he gave me may not be available. But I told him to wait as I wanted to call the dealership first to see if they would counter the price or if I could get a better kind of warranty through them because I really wanted a warranty through the dealership. But by the time I called the dealership and checked my account, I was at work. Then I got a notification that such and such amount has been deducted out from my account. But I wasn't aware of that and I didn't give the initial go ahead for them to deduct the payment out of my account.
They also pretty much told me that everything was covered and that if my car breaks down, I should call them and they'd get it towed for me. But my car had an issue last week so I called them for a tow. It was during business hours and they told me I have to pay for it then they'll see about reimbursing it. Also, my car is sitting at the shop now and I’ve yet to get it fixed because the people are waiting on Delta.
And when I wanted to cancel the warranty, Delta told me that if I did that, they'll keep the set-up fee of $400 and send me partial even though I've never used the warranty since I signed up. So I said they should hold on to it. But if they don't fix my car, then I'm canceling even if they give me half of what I paid. I've lost money and they're not very honest. They're not upfront with what is covered by the warranty. They will tell the customer that everything is covered just to make sales. Then when I call them and try to speak with somebody in the service department, I can't even get anybody. They would send me to the receptionist.

My auto warranty had expired from when I previously bought the truck. I shopped four warranty companies but talking to Josh from Delta Auto Protect made me feel comfortable with what I was purchasing and he seemed to give me a better deal than anybody else, too. He was also very helpful, responsive and he answered all the questions pretty thoroughly. I had to use the warranty not too long ago and I contacted him and he made sure everything got taken care of. It took them a few days to get a part approved and they said that the system was being restarted so, it was taking longer than normal. But that was taken care of and it was great. Having an extended warranty is very valuable and I’m glad I purchased the policy from them.

I called Delta Auto because I had only gotten email response as far as paperwork and I was wondering if I needed a card, like an identification card, but apparently, they don't issue that. It would've been nice to have an ID card that you could present if you go into a dealer and say, "Here’s my warranty information." Delta doesn't provide that. Other than that, it has been fine so far.

I had a problematic Mercedes with expensive repairs, and since Delta Auto Protect was the cheapest with the same coverage, at least on paper, I signed up with them. They were fairly helpful. Although they didn't tell me how to file claim, I see it on the paperwork. They explained what was covered and how it worked and then I read the contract that they sent and that backed up what the claims were. The contact process and the paperwork were abnormally difficult, but I was able to figure it out.

Delta Auto Protect was cheaper than the other ones at the dealership so I made a decision to go with them. Aside from their great price, their warranty is also great and their rep told me what the warranty covered and sent an email with all the information on it. I read through it and agreed. It was simple.

I looked into getting an extended auto warranty for my daughter as she's recently in college. The people at the car dealership were a little pushy and could not answer some of the concerns that I have but when I called Delta, they clearly went through the coverage and how I would go about getting the care that the car required at any given time. I found out also that they were available throughout the after hours. The plan was affordable and by paying upfront, it had me eligible for discounts rather than doing the monthly installment. It was a plus and always an incentive when I can get some sort of discounts on things.
Last week, I filed a claim. I simply gave them a call and it was after hours so they reached out to me the very next morning. The most recent guy that I've talked to was phenomenal. It was just great when he reached out and guided me in the right direction for the car repair. He gave me instructions as to where to take the car to get it evaluated for whatever problems it was experiencing and right away, we got it up in there and got it fixed. They handled everything and we didn't have to deal with the payment. My car is still fairly new but when the time comes for me to look into that type of plan for my vehicle, I'm definitely going to push it. I would definitely recommend them and have referred two people to look into it.

I wanted my car to be covered for anything that will go wrong with it. Delta Auto Protect's price was lower than others, but the rep I talked to was not very good. He didn't explain exactly what it was that was not covered by the warranty and he told me that everything was covered, bumper to bumper. But when I went to the dealer, I got the car checked out and had to pay out of pocket to fix a couple of things. I filed a claim and they said that they were not going to cover any gaskets or seals. I also tried to call them a few times and they weren't available. They had to give me a call back but I was never returned any phone call regarding the issue of cancelling. It hasn't been a pleasant experience and I cancelled with Delta because of that.

When I purchased my diamond premiere coverage and paid in full, I was assured that I would get prompt service. However, I did not expect the representative Aaron ** to deny my claim less than 24 hours after it was made. So here's the issue, my 2012 BMW X6 started sputtering showing an engine malfunction, I took it to the dealer who informed me that the fuel injector was acting up. Under my warranty it clearly states that my fuel injectors were covered. Delta Auto Protect promptly denied my claim stating, that because there's memo from BMW stating, that if you must replace a fuel injector it must be replaced by the newer model injector and that you cannot mix the new and old injectors. I've called Aaron ** twice and left recorded messages and still haven't heard back from him or anyone at Delta Auto Protect.

My Porsche Cayenne needed a coil pack replaced. In fact one coil pack failed a few weeks ago and I was told by the Porsche mechanic that all 8 needed replacement as they will all fail once one does. Delta Auto Protect agreed to fix the first coil pack fail but not to replace the rest. As happened another coil pack failed and Porsche was told by Delta Auto Protect that they will only fix the new broken part even though the mechanic thought this was not smart and the remaining 6 should be replaced. But to the rescue came Aaron ** from Delta Auto Protect. Aaron sorted this issue and all coil packs are now replaced. I have found dealing with Aaron ** a pleasure and his attitude is very professional. My confidence in Delta Auto Protect is now high because of my dealings with Aaron.
I hope that if there is ever another issue I can deal directly with Aaron as I find him so much easier to deal with than others I have spoken to who never return calls at Delta Auto Protect. Aaron ** is not known to me personally and I write this with no intention except to make it known to Delta Auto Protect that Aaron ** is an asset to the company and to clients like myself.

I have gone for diamond premium plan which says it is going to cover everything other than wear and tear items. The rep Rick said that they cover all parts and labor cost. After one month, I have experienced an issue with rear left window and came to know that window motor and regulator must be replaced. The repair guy called Delta only to come to know that they only 25% of the cost and they do not pay for labor. Am going to cancel the contract and look for better companies in market. They cheat and does not bother about customers once contract is signed.

I have a BMW and that’s a car that you do not want to have without an extended warranty. After the dealer gave me a quote, I researched for two weeks and I started calling all these companies. It was so high pressure because a lot of them wanted you to decide immediately. Delta Auto Protect was professional on the phone, they weren’t pushy and they were very different to deal with compared to others. They respond to emails very fast and they are easy to get a hold of. I also read that they were number three in the United States. I told them what I want because I already knew what’s out there. They gave me the best deal and the best price and I decided to go with them. Plus their warranty starts when my factory warranty expires. I don’t need to start it right away and pay for the duration that I don’t need.
I spoke with Jessie about my protection plan. She explained what plans they have and the deductibles. And that here is another warranty for the tires and the rims that they provided and what it covers. I still didn’t get all the information that I needed on Delta Auto Protect because the package was mailed to the wrong address, unfortunately. But it's ok, it was a mix-up.

I used to work at a bank so I used to have people come in all the time trying to get loans for car repairs and one of the best things at the bank is we sold one as well. But I did a little research and Delta Auto Protect was one of the best. Their specialist was knowledgeable and very upfront. He answered a lot of different questions for me and he told me a lot of things that it covers as far as engine and transmission. It's good to ask right and major questions before you get a policy because you definitely don't want to get a policy and certain things are not covered. I love the price that he gave me so it worked out good. It was a decent experience.

Also, some of the other auto warranty providers are not available during the weekend and Delta Auto had a number I could call if I needed to even if it was during the weekend. I'm pleased with what the warranty covers for the price that was paid.

I just purchased a used car from CarMax and a lot of the choice for getting Delta Auto Protect came down to price, but also a lot of it was the coverage that it offers seems to be a little bit better than other providers. The certified vehicle protection specialist contacted me by phone because he’s requesting a quote. It was about a day later that they got back to me. After sending DMV, actual mileage and the VIN on the car, I had my coverage within about 30 minutes of talking to him.
Payment was all upfront, but I'm really happy about the pricing. It was about $3,000 less than what CarMax was offering, and it has a zero-dollar deductible compared to a $1,000 deductible. I’ve only been with Delta for less than a month, so the coverage hasn't actually kicked in yet, but I already referred one of my friends. I told him it was all about the cost compared to all the other providers as well as how easy it seems the claim process will be. We just talk to the mechanic at whatever shop we go to and they’ll handle the claim with Delta. We don't have to get preauthorized or anything like that.

Diamond Premier purchased 10/20/16. This has been my first repair request on ESP # (**). The backup camera and lane assist on the vehicle no longer works. Itook the car to the dealer for repair. Delta Auto Protect is a bait and switch company - they tell you anything they need to tell you when purchasing and when time for repair, they don't cover anything and then try to convince the customer they are doing us a courtesy favor by giving $300. NOT GOOD ENOUGH AND NOT ACCEPTABLE. I specifically asked about the safety camera system when I spoke with Shaun ** during purchase phase. He assured me that that was covered under the Diamond Premier.
He also mentioned that the vehicle in question (Audi A8) had many sensors and this extended warranty would give me peace of mind if there was a malfunction. We can drive it into the dealer and they will take care of it. Well that is not happening. We have the car at the Audi dealer needing repair for the lane assist and the backup camera beeper and Jessy at Delta is saying none of that is covered and they will do us a courtesy of $300, which is not even a 1/4 of the total repair cost. DELTA AUTO PROTECT IS A FRAUD AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AS SUCH. I need them to live up to their promises and give me value for my premium. If I am not satisfied, I plan to take legal action and personally make it my business to advertise them for the frauds they are. Please address immediately.

I did a lot of researching online about consumer preferences and Delta Auto Protect was higher-ranked. I called them and we had a good visit. I've gotten an offer from another provider that was very interesting. And when I called this person from Delta they began to talk and they started off with a decent price and so I thought I'd just ask him about that other offer. And then they came down to what I was desiring to pay. The person I was talking to took a lot of effort upon himself to make things happen. He walked away a moment or two here and there to ask a supervisor and then came back on the phone, and everything was good to go. I made a one-time payment for the warranty and there was a pretty decent discount for doing so. Also, I was able to set the beginning time of my purchased warranty out a few months. I am the type that does my due diligence before buying something online. About 2 weeks ago a service light came on and my car started driving funny so I immediately took my car to the shop. We were buying a used vehicle that has low mileage and I feel that it's a good idea for somebody else to take the front end of depreciation and for us to have the luxury of a warranty. I feel that at some time, I'm going to have something expensive and the warranty's going to take care of it but I won't be a happy camper if it doesn't. Also, I'm assuming that Delta's history on payment of claims is good because the reviews were decent. They are rated in the top five on various sites that I visited to research different kinds of warranties. I also felt that for the value, as long as the service is cracked up to be, it was a better price. I then got their five-year auto warranty and had it completely paid. I had a car warranty that expired with another company. They wanted me to renew it but for more money than what I had and I didn't have the money at that time. So, I saved up money and when I had the money, the price went up, so I didn't renew with them. I really needed the warranty and I thought that it was very important that I did have it. I have children and I'll never know what goes on with my car. I want a deductible fee so that the car could be reliable for us. I looked at other companies and wondered why it would be so much to pay if I'm giving them everything in full. I found Delta and Jim, the rep I talked to, was awesome. He sent me so many emails telling me other things they offer. They were more affordable and I was trying to pay in full so I wouldn't have to pay over $100 to fix the car. In addition, Delta offered more as well because the other company wasn't willing to fix the motor if it goes out and I would still have to come out of pocket.
I filed a claim yesterday because the windows of my car won't go down and I hear a "clicking" sound. It has something to do with the power and the window motor. I initially tried to call Jim back, but I forgot his extension. I talked to another guy and he didn't really explain everything like Jim did so I was confused. I was telling him everything what was wrong with my car and he gave me a claim number, then told me to call him when I get to the shop. He was also telling me that I have to call Delta every time I want my car checked out and then, have the repair shop to call him. But I was under the impression that I'd only show the shop the card and I never knew that I was going to have to file a claim first. I plan on taking my car to the shop if they are open tomorrow to tell me exactly what's going on, if it's a major fix and how long it will take for them to fix it.

He answered any question I had and I really appreciated talking to him and giving me time to make a decision on my own. I had to check out their credibility and look at the parameters of their warranty versus the Ford warranty. Then I decided that Delta Auto had a superior product, so I went with them. I called them up, told them I was ready to sign up, and did it because everything checked out.
Additionally, one of things that I liked about their plan since I travel from time to time, is that, unlike with Ford where they require the owner of the vehicle to have the car serviced by a Ford dealership, if my car breaks down, I don't have to go looking for a Ford dealership and I can just have my car fixed. Jim's a good guy. He threw in a lot of promotions for me and got me the coverage at a price-point where I was looking to spend. He worked around with me. I purchased this coverage about seven months ago, when I bought my car. I just went in for my first claim and it was great. The claim rep, Jessica, was excellent. They were very accommodating and they took care of everything. There were no games and the claim process was simple. I brought the car at my shop. The dealer just dialed in Delta's toll-free number, gave them my VIN number and then told them what I needed and got approved right there. They also asked me if I needed a rental, which I did. And I took advantage of the rentals.
When I came back a day later to pick up my car, it was good to go. The car's ball joints and control arms were pretty much shot and they said they needed to be replaced. And it was pretty cool that Jessica took care of it. Delta is the easiest company to work with. They have very personable and knowledgeable staff. When you need them, they're there. I haven't had the same with the other companies I've had in the past. It's definitely valuable. The repairs were much more than what I paid for the coverage. And I still have the coverage. Arron did a very good job with the claim. I am disappointed with the procedure and the way that Delta handled the claim. I was under that Delta would take care of fixing the van, but when it came down to it, they would only pay a specific amount, but yet still insist that you use certain shops that charge more than Delta pays. I believe I could have taken it to my local mechanic and not spent as much as I did going through the warranty process. I will not purchase a extended warranty from Delta again on my next vehicle.

I always buy pre-owned cars and I extend the warranty, and my experience with Delta Auto Protect was good. They’re very quick to get back to me on the pricing and they had the best price. When I wanted to make sure that the GPS and electronics were covered, the rep sent me the contract and pointed out to me that everything was covered so I felt comfortable. Then he gave me a quote which was about $1,800 and lowered it a lot to $1,300 if I agreed to pay one payment upfront, which I did. So that’s what made me decide to get it.
The only thing that they messed up in the beginning was my billing address. It was different from my home address so I wanted to change it on the contract and it took a couple of days. They kept sending me the wrong address but they finally corrected it. Also, when I had a question about the mileage and called the 1-800 number instead of calling my salesperson, I was on hold for a little bit. But once I talked to a rep, he answered my question. Hopefully, down the road, if I have something wrong with the vehicle and I’ll file a claim, there won’t be an issue with me getting it resolved and talking to people.

When Delta gave me the price, I was shocked because it was almost half of what the other company gave me and they had better coverage. In fact, Delta has the best coverage for the least amount. We had a really interesting experience with this company. We had some serious difficulty getting a claim paid. Over 30 days after the job was done they still kept giving us the run around on payment. Because of this, we left some negative reviews on sites like this. Another follow up call for payment was placed and this time we were told that because of the negative reviews they put a stop payment on the claim. They would only pay IF we removed the reviews. For one site they actually gave us a phone number to call to take the review down. This explains why they have some positive reviews. They, in our case, refused to pay a claim that they had authorized until anything negative was removed. I would seriously recommend not doing business with this company as a repair facility or a vehicle owner. They were very dishonest!!!

I had questions since my initial phone call and the people at Delta were very pleasant and forwarded more information. Also, they’re very friendly and knowledgeable. So all in all, the experience has been pleasant. I purchased the warranty package from them before I had purchased a vehicle so I haven't had a claim experience yet. Moreover, the only option I was given was a one-time payment. It will cover five years and 100,000 miles, which is really great.
When I initially spoke to the salesperson, he said that there were seals and gaskets included in the coverage, and then when I looked over the details of the sample contract, I don’t see a comprehensive seal and gasket coverage as I thought we would have. I‘ve owned a BMW for 20 years and I know specific things akin to the initial BMWs. The seals and gaskets tend to be the biggest failures of that type of vehicle, and I was on the market for maybe getting another BMW. From the little bit of checking I did, Delta Auto had the best deal for the money. I just made my first payment of $1,500 upfront and that gave me a savings because it will be $400 more if I did the payment plan. Also, they're local. I'm 15 miles South of Philadelphia and I'll be a little leery if somebody offered me a warranty for $1,500 all the way out there in Dakota or somewhere and I'm in Pennsylvania.
The specialist did a pretty good job. He was very personable and offered his assistance any time I needed it. Hopefully, I do but hopefully I don't. I'd hate to spend $1,500 and never have to use the services but for the particular vehicle that I purchased even though it was 10 years old, if anything breaks down, it will be very expensive.
I have the Premier Diamond warranty and I'm pleased with it. They gave me a $100 credit towards a blown-out tire or damaged chrome rims and that's a bonus because my rims and tires alone might be worth between $2,000 and $3,000. And the deductible is not bad even though after I purchased it, I saw another company who had a zero deductible. Being on disability, I'd be as cost-conscious as possible. I can't walk outside, throw money in the air then whoever catches it, that's fine. I have to be careful how I utilize what I have because there's no overtime and there's no holiday pay. But I'll recommend Delta Auto for what I know because it's hard to determine how good a service is until you need them.

Repair #1: My first repair was a transmission failure driving home from work one Wednesday evening. I was able to limp it in to the dealer and I made the phone call to Delta to get a claim # before I got there. The dealer diagnosed the transmission first thing in the morning as unfixable and needing replacement. They called Delta to get approval, after waiting on hold for 30 minutes they were told that the repair would need to be ok'd by one of their own technicians and he would call within 2 hrs. 4 hrs later and still no call so the dealer called them back, and yes 30 minutes on hold again only to be told that it would be two more hours until their technician could call back.
Now it's the end of the day Thursday and the dealer calls me to say they still haven't heard back from Delta, so I call Delta. Again they say their technician is to busy too look at my claim but this time they say they are going to expedite it! This is when I ask about getting my free rental car per the warranty contract only to find out that the warranty will only cover the car rental for the length of the repair not for how long your car is at the shop. A transmission change is 8 hrs (8 hr repair = 1 day of rental and 4 hr repair = 1/2 day of rental, etc.) and since I haven't gotten approval yet from their technician I don't even know if the rental is going to be covered.
Finally at 5:30 in the evening they ok the repair but they tell the dealer they want to install a used transmission, and they want to get it from one of the junkyards they work with in my area!!! It takes all of the next day to get the transmission (with 75,000 miles on it) from the junkyard and there is not enough time left for the dealer to get it installed until Monday. After several calls complaining to them about how much time they wasted they ok two days of car rental instead one. (My car was in the shop from Wednesday evening until Monday evening.) My portion for the repair was over $300 because the warranty doesn't cover taxes or fluids/seals.
Repair #2: My second repair was on a Thursday morning for a wheel bearing and a motor mount. You would think this repair would be straightforward with an easy approval but again it took them from 9:00 a.m. until 5:40 in the evening to approve it. (The dealer and I logged over 90 minutes on hold during the day trying to find out what was taking so long.) They then told the dealer they would not pay for their parts, they could get them cheaper and have them shipped in!!! IT'S 5:40 AND WE WOULD HAVE NEEDED THAT INFO BY 4 TO HAVE THEM THE NEXT DAY!!! They also assured the dealer that they were OEM parts, not aftermarket parts. So the parts finally come in on Monday (and they are not OEM) but by this time screw it, just install them and get my car back. Again I was without a car for 5 days on a repair that was about 4 hours long!!! My portion of the repair this time was about $100.
Even though I received more in repairs than the $1300 I paid for the warranty I would not use them again because of the hassle dealing with them during the repairs and the subpar parts that I had to put in my car. I would also not want to use this warranty at a smaller shop where they don't have the personnel to sit on the telephone all day with this company or tie up one of their stalls waiting to get approval to fix your car.

When she told me about the deal that was being offered, I went ahead and gave her a call. She also told me that Delta had offered her a $100 free gift card if I was to go about purchasing the warranty. That sealed it up for me. I had a very good experience with their rep. He went over and beyond and accommodated me as much as possible.

We’ve had a couple of issues with our car after we bought it, but our son plans on keeping it for quite some time and will be doing a fair amount of driving. We decided we wanted to go ahead and give an auto warranty a shot. We went with Delta Auto Protect mainly for the cost. When I was looking online, I found that Delta was one of the top three and although there were others too, they were quite a bit more expensive. The other ones were double the amount and did not seem cost-effective. Delta seems to be covering at least the major parts and it seemed like for the value, was better than the other two companies.
I got ready for a hard sell when I talked with the Delta guy, but he was a matter-of-factly at first. That was fine and I was perfectly happy with it but I had to get used to his personality. He followed up later on with emails which I prefer a lot of times versus phone. We got along and he answered questions quite well. He gave me a price of a better deal and I also got a little bit of a better protection. He also threw in a couple of extra things, which is nice. I told him that I was going to make a decision by Friday morning and I felt comfortable enough with the Delta guy to call him back. I love my sales guy and he was great to work with. Afterward, I had to go through some logging processes to sign up and take pictures of certain things so that they could confirm what the mileage was. I was told that I was covered but I couldn't file a claim for the first 30 days and 1,000 miles. Overall, I’d recommend Delta Auto Protect.

So far my car has needed Lower control arm bushings, a water pump and a vacuum pump. Delta doesn't cover fluids and bolts so I had to pay $79 for that. My warranty has already paid for itself and it has only been 7 months. I highly recommend this company!

The only thing is I did call a few times just to make sure that they had everything they needed but it took a couple of days for them to get back to me on the telephone call. They were nice and very informative though. When I asked them questions, they gave me all the answers I needed. And they did respond quickly and got me the paperwork back that I needed. Delta had the best ratings off market research online and they had a wider range of coverage options to choose from than the other competitors. The experience with them was short and straight to the point. It was all business-oriented and no time was wasted. They explained everything that was gonna be covered and what was not covered in the best detail possible. They were also able to tell me about the special incentivized plans and what was gonna best suit my needs. There was no unnecessary sales pitch to it all. It was all pressure-free for the most part and their rep presented my best possible option where I didn't have to make monthly payments. I was going to buy a CUNA warranty through my credit union but Delta Auto Protect solicited that they also have the same CUNA auto warranty and that they broker it. So I got a little bit of a better policy for a better price than what my credit union was able to offer. The original guy I talked to, Jim, was decent, but he was pretty rude whenever I called back to get additional information and ask where my policy was. That got me thinking that I have 60 days to cancel my warranty for a full refund based on Texas law and I’m really considering it. It only cost me $1400 and on a newer vehicle that I have, it’s reaching the 36,000-mile warranty threshold where my factory warranty expires.
This warranty picks up for 5 1/2 years or 62 months, 100,000 miles, so any component that goes out is going to exceed $1400. I felt like it was safe but I’m very skeptical if they are really going to cover me. It sounds like a small shop and their lack of professionalism on the callback gives me concerns. I read mixed reviews where some people said they had a good experience with Delta. Other reviews say it was a big scam. They took their car in for warranty work and Delta was slow in responding. In some instances, they didn’t cover any of the warranty works that should have been covered. But Delta told me that their warranty was pretty much the same as my factory warranty, so it would cover everything that my factory warranty covers. Which I wouldn't know until I file a claim. I hope that I never have to.

Then Delta Auto Protect gave me a cash price up front and gave me a good deal.
I told a couple of other people about going with them because the price was good but we’ll see further down the road. The warranty I have now on it covers quite a bit, but there were a couple of things it didn’t cover that cost me over $2000 to get fixed on my vehicle. I never filed a claim yet but the coverage seemed really good and extensive compared to a lot of the other plans I talked to which didn’t want to cover some things. This vehicle has aged but it's been under warranty for a while and they’ve seen it’s been maintained and taken care of. So I’m hoping that they will take care of me down the road if I have an issue. So far, I’m satisfied. The sales rep seemed pretty nice and he reasonably answered my questions. It's great as far as talking to them.
