    We had bought a new-used car a few years ago and my wife convinced me a after having the car for a while to get the extended warranty. She did extensive research and found Delta Auto Protect. I'm sure glad she did. Just a few weeks ago it started getting a little warm outside and I noticed the car's A.C. wasn't pumping out any cold air. I took the car to a local shop to find out what was wrong. It turns out the car's air conditioner compressor had gone out and needed to be replaced. I was a little upset about this but remembered we had purchased the extended warranty for the car and our plan did cover repairs like air condition units. This really did turn my mood around because this kind of repair would of cost a pretty penny and I wasn't ready to be shelling out that kind of cash for repairs on a car I just purchased. I was able to have my A.C. repaired just in time for the hottest day of the year.

    I was stuck in the middle of nowhere due to gas shortage. I was in such a rush to get on the road, I thought I could make it to the next exit before I needed gas. But, I was definitely wrong. Luckily, I was able to call Delta and they advised me exactly on how to handle my situation. I was able to have a service tech from a nearby station come out and fill up my tank so I wouldn't have to leave my car stranded on the side of the road. The associated cost was completely covered by my extended warranty. I was able to make my way exactly where I needed to be and right on time, despite the emergency.

    Though an extended warranty may be a good idea for some, it may not be so promising for others. I was glad I found Delta Auto Protect during my search for an auto warranty because a lot of companies I had spoken to prior were trying to sell me products that did not fit my needs. They were expensive, and did not cover all the repairs I was hoping for. When I spoke with Delta, however, the rep went through all of the details of the policy with me, even the fine print. She was very helpful and thorough. I decided to purchase an extended warranty with this company only after I did extensive research. I felt the most comfortable putting my money with Delta. I haven't had to use my warranty yet for any repairs, but I'm sure when I do, they'll be covered!

    I've always had trouble with my vehicles, and have spent thousands and thousands of dollars trying to upkeep them. So when I finally purchased another car back in January, I made sure to research ways to cut down costs of repairs. I stumbled upon the Delta Auto Protect website and began reading about extended warranties. I had no idea they existed and covered so many mechanical issues on new AND used vehicles. It seemed too good to be true. I decided to call them up and was greeted by the most personable agent I've ever had the privilege of talking to. She walked me through the policy offerings and really put things into perspective for me. She did not pressure me at all about making a decision right away, but told me that if I was consistently worried about the reliability of my car, then it may be a good idea to invest in an extended warranty. She reassured me that the final choice is mine.

    I was still in shock by how many things the warranty covered. I decided to consult my friend before making the purchase and to my surprise, my friend was already a Delta Auto customer. He recommended them highly. I did decide to purchase the warranty and have used it many times since. I've used my warranty to cover repairs on my brakes, windshield wipers and my all-wheel drive. I've even had some cosmetic work done to my car. The majority of my repairs have been FULLY covered by my policy, and the claims process has never been difficult. Although my friend didn't tell me about Delta Auto Protect until I asked, I've been telling all of my friends and family about it. Everyone deserves some peace of mind.

    I got an extended warranty for my vehicle from Delta Auto Protect and boy am I so relieved!!!! I purchased it for my new vehicle, to kick in once my manufacturer's warranty expired. It covers a big bulk of repair costs of both engines and transmissions. Also, it works if you run of fuel, need towing or even a locksmith. Obviously, it's really good to have. You never know when or what will happen while you're traveling or what not. I almost didn't bother with it. I was stuck in middle of nowhere with no fuel and no gas station nearby. It was a nightmare!!! With my extended warranty I was provided assistance very quickly and out of a frustrating experience and saved a lot financially. Whoever out there that has recently purchased a vehicle, definitely get the extended warranty. It's a mistake if you don't. Not to mention, Delta's prices are amazing!     I have an extended warranty with Delta and I was having a problem with my engine. I called in to the customer service line because I'd never had an issue with my car and I wasn't sure what to do. A super knowledgeable and sweet representative gave me recommendations for shops in my neighborhood. I went to the shop and connected the mechanic with the sales rep. They worked out the claim details amongst themselves. When I was put back in contact with the sales rep, she quoted me my remaining bill from the mechanic.     This extended warranty really works for my family. When you have children, you constantly worry about their safety and security. Having an extended warranty for our cars gives us peace of mind.     Who is going to rescue you when you blow a tire on a back road? I'm glad I thought about that and decided to purchase an extended warranty from Delta Auto Protect. They were definitely here for me in those road emergencies I did not see coming. In another instance, I locked myself out of my vehicle, and all I had to do was give them a call. They recommended a locksmith in the area, who came by in a hurry, and was able to get me back in my car and on the road in no time. Luckily, I've only had to use my warranty twice, but I know if I ever had another emergency and needed a tow, or a rental car, my extended warranty has me covered.

    I purchased an extended warranty from Delta Auto Protect for my car because it seemed to cover so many types of repairs. It is a really great investment for people like myself who may want extra coverage on their car. Delta offered me a great deal on my warranty policy, and I'm sure, they always have deals going on. Recently both of my front axles begin to leak. I couldn't figure out what was going on. I took my car to the auto mechanic and was told that my front axles needed to be replaced.     This extended warranty covers literally every kind of repair on your car that you may need. Although the extended warranty does not cover things like car crashes, fire or flood, it does cover normal wear and tear. Things like repairs on engines, transmissions and brake systems are covered. Another perk is, this extended warranty covers services such as towing and out-of-gas emergencies. A huge plus is that it's extremely easy to use. Every time I've needed work done on my CRV, I've simply called Delta and they've processed my claims quickly. My warranty has covered a big fraction of my repair costs. These extra perks covered are extra handy in a bind, sure to make you feel more calm in an emergency.

    Delta Auto Protect promised me that they issue corporate credit card for the payments directly to the shop and they did for my first claim. But when it came to my 2nd claim, they promised to offer credit card to the shop at the time of approval but they send the cheque instead. My car was in the shop for almost 3 weeks waited for the cheque but it never received and I ended up paying out of my pocket to get my car. Then I had to go through the claim reimbursement. It took more than 3 months for me to get the claim reimbursed after spending more than 40+ hours over the phone with their reps. There is a 2 day car rental they approved, which they said send it in the same envelope and till today I can see that they never issued a check. So, if you wish to go through all these pain with the claim reimbursement, then go for Delta, else don't go for it.

    Their reps were also very rude in sharing the information and they won't provide answers to the questions & disconnect or re-direct your call to wrong entity. They will make you hold for hours and ultimately you will end up in disconnecting. They will be nice for the first time for sure but they will make you ran around once your claims passed what you paid so that you end the contract with them. They get the receipts that we send through emails but they will not respond to your emails nor provide anything in writing.

    Another best part is, they send the parts to the shop which will delay the repair and they don't approve rental car for those delays. They say, they look at the repaid time for providing the rental car not the time in which your car is in the shop for the repair & to get paid. Another worst reimbursement is their roadside hazard and they don't reimburse either after approving the cIaim to get the tires replaced. Their technical team looks at tire images and decide not to reimburse even if there is air leakage from inside. I won't recommend Delta for any new customers.

As a mother of three who is often running around town to sporting events and gymnastics, it really gives me peace of mind to know that things like towing, rental car, locksmith, etc. are available with a quick call.     When trying to decide on getting an extended warranty my vehicle, there are a few things I considered. I wasn't sure how long I was planning on keeping my car, so I didn't know if it was even worth it. But, I'd had my car for close to three years and my manufacturer's warranty was about to expire. I didn't want to be left having to pay full price for any repairs that would need to be done on it. This is when I decided that the extended warranty would be good to have.

    Having an extended warranty through Delta is the best choice to make. It has practically paid itself off with the first major repair I had done. My car broke down while I was on my way home from work. I already had a long day, and frustration and stress caused me to additionally lock my keys in the car.     I just bought car. Got the warranty with the dealer. When I got home decided to see if better options came across Delta. Gave me a decent deal so I signed up. Upon further review and research decided that car warranties are ripoff so decided to canceled. Called back the next day. HUGE hassle!!!! If you seen the movie Broiler Room these GUYS to a tee (I guess was their training video)... So anyways finally got them to say they would cancel and that would get email within couple minutes, I didn't. Called back and same script same ** but finally got the email couple days later. Canceled. That was on April 17th 2018. I still haven't received any check and have called couple times. Asked to speak to manager. I think the same rep just pretended to be the sup. Anyways don't purchase this product, do your research. They are definitely sales people orientated and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. BUYER BEWARE.

    I purchased a car warranty from Delta 12/17. It became effective 1/18. A auto claim was submitted early March that has yet to be paid. The outstanding invoice has been faxed and emailed several times, and I do mean several. Every time I call for status they claim to have not received the invoice. Twice now agents in the claim dept tell me to email directly to them and they will see to it that it gets paid. Still waiting! This company was referred to me from Honda. I should have read reviews prior to buying warranty. Shame on me! Do not buy from this company. Nightmare to work with. Very, very unhappy customer.

    I purchased a used Ford Focus back in 2016 and chose to get an extended warranty. The number one reason why I chose it was because I wanted to keep the car as long as possible. I purchased from Delta Auto Protect specifically because their extended warranty covers such a wide range of services for a much more competitive price than other companies I've researched.

    I'm glad I got my warranty when I did because a few months ago, my brakes were giving me issues and I was able to get them done at the fraction of the price. Not even a month following the brake issue, I began having issues with locking the backseat, passenger side door. That was a major problem, because sometimes I drive my nieces and nephews around and I need to be able to know for certain that the lock is functioning well.     We just purchased a new SUV three weeks ago. Although we had not planned to purchase an extended warranty, we did with this car. It's not that we're anticipating problems but we can't afford big money surprises.     I purchased my extended warranty from Delta Auto Protect and was not sure what to expect. I did research and found that it covered almost every piece of my car, including steering and electrical components, as well as transmission and engine parts, which we all know can be expensive. I usually don't end up using warranties, and they end up being a waste of money. However, I have used my Delta warranty for so many little fixes in my car. I ended up saving a few thousand dollars in repair costs.

    Recently, I used my extended warranty to fix the air conditioning system. I had been holding off on it for a while, but I thought I'd do it now before it gets too warm outside. I have automatic climate control and separate front and rear seat air conditioning so it is typically pretty expensive to repair.     About a month ago, I was having really bad issues with my fuel pump. It got so bad to where my car would stop in the middle of the road on me and my husband. The last straw was it stopping on the highway about a month ago, and causing a mass traffic jam. I finally decided to call Delta and ask about coverage for fuel pump repairs. I had purchased an extended warranty with them about a year ago, but really did not know how much of my repair they would cover. The rep told me that they do cover fuel pump repairs, and instructed me to bring my vehicle into a garage and they would coordinate with the repair guy.

    After the repair guy gave me a quote I knew I couldn't fully afford at that time, I sat by as he spoke with the Delta rep on the phone. In a few minutes, he turned to me and said that Delta would be covering the majority of my claim, and I only owed him a small amount. He also told me that the rep said if I needed a rental while my car was being fixed, Delta would cover that as well. We were both impressed by the amount of services that I was being offered with my extended warranty. The repair guy was also impressed about how easy the claims process was, and how quickly he was able to reach a Delta rep. I am so happy I decided to purchase that extended warranty.

    I bought what I felt was a reliable car. Imagine my surprise when less than a year later I found myself stranded while headed to see my friends in the next state over. I was so frustrated until I realized I did purchase an extended warranty from Delta Auto Protect at the insistence of my dad. I actually barely listened when the salesman was pitching it to me but remember that my dad told me to make sure I got it.

    So, I called the Delta Auto and they told me to have my car towed to the nearest mechanic and it would be covered. After the mechanic assessed everything and told me the bill, I just about fainted because I didn't have that kind of extra money. It was the transmission! I don't know much about them but I do know that "transmission" is usually the word of death for repairs! I was supposed to make my final payment on my wedding gown in two weeks, not pay for a transmission. The mechanic told me that most of what he mentioned should be covered in my warranty and to call to check. I didn't think he knew what he was talking about and was expecting the associate I called to refuse but I was the one who was wrong.

    Since I had been taking care of the car and it wasn't a manufacturers warranty issue, the repairs were covered in full. My friends picked me up and I worked out the details with the dealership as well as the claim's department. By the end of my vacation, I had a small deductible payment but it was worth it in comparison to what I would have paid. That was a close call!

    This warranty is a God-send, and I’ll tell you why! Most of us have to pay rent or mortgage, utilities, students loans, buy groceries etc. We have to go to work to earn money to meet these expenses, so when our car breaks down, we have no choice but to have it serviced ASAP; it affects our ability to earn money. Cars tend to break down at a time when we are in the worst financial position to have it repaired.     I never realized how useful an extended warranty until about 3 weeks ago. I initially purchased the Diamond Premier policy at Delta in September of 2015 at the suggestion of a friend of mine. She has the same vehicle as I and warned me that (1) I would definitely experience issues and (2) the repairs would be expensive. She suggested Delta because she had great experiences with them and found their pricing to be reasonable. Once I contacted Delta, I did not believe that the extended warranty coverage could be that good for such a low rate. I was hesitant so I shopped around, but eventually came back to Delta and purchased a policy because my interaction with their sales guys had been so memorable.

    I haven't had to use my policy until 3 weeks ago when my car suddenly began giving me issues with both the transmission and the steering wheel. Additionally, my seatbelt kept jamming. I immediately called Delta and I was able to reach someone quickly. The associate directed me to go to a mechanic of my choosing and Delta would coordinate directly with the garage to handle my claims. I was extremely nervous but before I could panic about whether or not my claim would be approved, or if I would have to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket, I received notice that my claims were approved. I believe this happened in a matter of 24 hours. Even my mechanic was impressed by Delta's diligence in handling my claim and issuing payment. I am very grateful that my friend suggested Delta. They have been extremely reliant, and communicative through the process of me getting major work done on my vehicle. I would definitely recommend!

    I could write almost verbatim Ken of Scottsdale, AZ review. We have had the displeasure of working with Delta Auto Protect twice now for the same customer. In the first instance they insisted they sent the payment for repairs in check form. We never received the check even though our address was verified time and again. Finally, we were able to be paid using their credit card after numerous attempts for payment. This time we had to tear down a transmission and wait for an adjuster of theirs to confirm the need to rebuild the transmission. Finally, the approval for work was approved.

    Now comes the time for payment... no matter what e-mail address we sent the Invoice to we kept having to resend. Let me back up, calling for anyone to answer the phone is an act of Congress. They hide behind voicemail and never return your calls, when they finally do answer they put you on hold - one time for 45 minutes and no one ever came back on the line. I was told by Jim in Finance that since we won't accept a check they would have to pay by credit card in increments of $500.00 every 72 hours until the Invoice is paid - at which time I was placed on hold never to talk to anyone and respond. Probably a smart move on his part! Did they take the customer's warranty payments in this manner? I think not. This is not how good warranty companies do business! So, today I will waste more time trying to rectify this payment. AUTO SHOPS BEWARE!

    I have such a long review because since the purchase of buying the service for my 2009 BMW I have not had one positive experience. I purchased the program February 16, 2016 in hopes that my car would be covered hassle free until the end of the contract. I was assured that I have 24/7 protection. First of all they have an answering service on the weekend and after 5 pm CST you have no assistance. I have called on the weekend and I even called on 04/12/2018 and the phone was answered by the answering service. THEY ARE NOT 24/7. THE ANSWERING SERVICE TAKES YOUR INFO AND YOU NEVER GET A CALLBACK. This has happened on many occasions.

    TAKE YOUR CAR TO ANY ASE CERTIFIED SHOP. Last year I needed a fuel pump replaced, it took 7 days to get the right part and I was told I cannot take it to FIRESTONE (the only business I take any of my cars to). Firestone did fix the issue after Delta failed to send the correct part. Now I am told I cannot take my car to FIRESTONE.

    A. So this time I took my car to BMW 60 days ago. They were approved to fix 3 of my 6 coils costing me $125 and costing them $112 (which they have not paid in 30 days). I am forced to pay overpriced labor because they told me I can't take to FIRESTONE. IT IS MARCH 13 AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT PAID THE BILL. I called on 4/12 and they assured they were taking care of the charge. This is the evening I called at 300 CST and got the answering service. (No one was settling the bill at BMW as promised>> even as I write this review at 400 PM CST on 4/13/2018).

    B. They say they cover certain parts but they don't. *IN my contract it states that the fuel system is covered from the pumps to the sensors. On April 2, 2018 BMW contacted Delta to let them know one of my covered parts from the fuel system was inoperable. (Mind you this is after I spoke to an ASE tech for Delta stating that nothing was wrong my starting issue but a MAF issue.) (Which was my fault.) He continued to degrade the BMW dealership for listening to my recommendation on the starting issue - he stated that he already replaced one fuel pump and he isn't replacing another - and... that he replaced my coils and I should pretty much be grateful for that.

    Doesn't stop with his degrades and personal opinions on Firestone and their tools, technicians and myself. (First of all why does he feel the need to express opinions and not facts and why did Aaron transfer ME THE CLIENT TO TALK TO AN ** OF A TECH WHO KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT TALKING TO HUMANS). (This is unprofessional beyond my comprehension.)

    C. REIMBURSEMENTS: Last year during the Hurricane Harvey the BMW started emitting a strong fuel smell before the car started having several NO Start Issue. We replaced the battery at FIRESTONE... Looks like the webpage covers batteries but it seems like every time I have an issue it is not covered-it is sent to an ASE tech and 14 days or more later they say they don't have any info on a no start issue. I Am sick and tired of this company. They continue to be rude, dishonest and unreliable. This is only half of the problems I have had. I am still waiting on reimbursement for the rental car I had to get because they always refuse to do a service that is covered or leave me stranded with no transportation. I spend 300 on a rental and $26 is reimbursed.

    Here it is 04/13/2018 and BMW has not been paid for a 112 job and they have loaned out 2 new BMW costing them 100 times the repair. This BMW is a part of over 3000 dealerships - they will not be working on Delta cars from now on... I will assure this process comes to fruition. I deal with shady warranty companies all day long and I assure that this company is by far the worst. They must have paid for all their positive reviews. I am out not done.

    Delta Auto Protect has not paid our shop after providing approved service (with approval #) for the past 4 months. We are trying to collect from our client directly and have him chase Delta for reimbursement. These positive generic reviews in no way can be true, other than the ones stating their experience with the original person who sold them the policy was pleasant to deal with. You cannot even talk to someone other than the answering service (after waiting on hold forever). Same run around over and over- "You need to fax or email the invoice again" (done 5+ times), "the payment is on the way" (3 times).

    Each time we actually get a hold of someone (I think Aaron is the only person that works there), we are told to re-submit, then payment is on way. I say "you already told me payment was on way, why do I need to re-submit claim?" Only to be told they will look into and get back. Just told another one of our customers that we would not accept Delta any longer and he will have to pay out of pocket and plan to tell any other customers same thing. A very profitable business plan- take people's money up front, approve repairs, then don't pay the repair facility. How long can this go on before someone/something stops it?

    UPDATE ON 04/13/2018: Our client's repair was approved after a few days of sending estimates via email & fax in early December. We completed work 1 day after approval. We finally received payment from Delta on April 13, a few days after writing negative reviews. We dealt with Jason in finance, who was apologetic and made payment promptly. Not sure why it took 4 months after several emails & calls. Could never get through to anyone on phone. Glad we received payment, but be aware.

    If it sounds too good to be true it is! Only read the negative reviews of Delta Auto Protect because the positive ones are coming from their employees. So far everything negative I read is What I'm experiencing right now. Sam was quick to sell two extended warranties but now when I need help they do not answer the phone or return phone calls. It took them a week to finally approve work on my husband's car. Sent their part and has not paid the bill. Also only authorized 2.5 hours of work on a 5.8 job. Had to pay the rest out of pocket. The car rental is a joke too only providing rental while they are actually working on your car and not while the car is in the shop. (Good luck if you are waiting for approval, parts, etc.). Once the shop receives payment I will change my rating but who knows if they ever will. They still never answer the phone and are extremely difficult to get a hold of.

    As you can verify by looking at all the rip off alerts and complaints this company has, they will give authorization to the shop to do repairs and then they will not pay. Several shops have complained about the same. The few supervisors I have called have been rude and have made fun of me when I tell them I have been trying to get paid for over 6 weeks. They keep transferring me to Johnny ** voicemail and after several voicemails still no calls back. Now I have to go after my customer for payment. It's a shame.

I was told by Aaron ** on several days my parts were in the mail. He could not give a tracking number and I had to call from anonymous numbers to get an answer. Phone calls were not returned as promised. After I picked up my car from the auto mechanic shop, I got a call from the shop manager saying I’d be charged personally since Aaron kept promising a payment and several weeks later it was still supposedly in the mail!

    We did work for their customer 10/17. Every time you call you get an answer service, when you do finally get through they say the check is mailed. If you are a consumer stay away. We as dealers are not releasing your car until payment is made. This poor guy’s car has been here since last year. They still won’t pay. Stay as far away from this company as possible.     I can't speak for their warranty since I fortunately never had to use them. We ended up trading in our vehicle and cancelled our policy. Since we never used the warranty we were told and were sent a cancellation document stating exactly what we were owed and that payment would be received within 15 days. Two months later we still haven't received a check. We reached out to them multiple times and continue to hear every excuse in the book. My wife called a couple of times and heard them cussing at her in the background...very unprofessional. They finally provided us with a tracking number for the check and after a week, the check hasn't even made it to the post office yet.

    I have only been using Delta Auto for a couple of months and they have terrible customer service. The representatives are very rude and have no idea on how to treat a customer when you call in. I can never get in touch with anyone. When I call in I am always given the runaround. They are very unprofessional and I am starting to believe the company in whole is a total scam and rip-off! The person you speak with is never at the extension given to you. It's always someone different answering. I've asked for managers and have been told they cannot give out employee information. What kind of nonsense it that. They refuse to send me proper verification of payments nor do they keep proper records of your payments!

    I was told I didn't make payments that I clearly had made. I found the proper bank statements proving that I did and emailed them to an Aaron ** who was to send me verification of both. I was sent a subpar confirmation saying a payment was made with no date or month. I get hung up on when I ask a question that seems to catch them in a lie by the staff and even the so called answering service. I regret signing up with them and they really should be investigated. I will keep everyone posted on my current dealings with this horrible excuse for a company!

The customer paid her deductible and we have been trying since December to get them to pay their portion. I have made over 20 phone calls and e-mails. When you call the company the people that answer the phone are nothing more than a call center. All they can do is take a message. They can't transfer you to talk to anyone at Delta Auto Protect. They are the only people you can talk to. All I want is to be paid for repairs that my company completed.

    Do not buy a plan through Delta Auto Protect. I've had a plan with them for a year and in August of last year I had 1 claim. They apparently covered about half of the parts and labor. So I had to fork out 350 to get my vehicle out of the shop and they had to cover the remaining 310$. I was getting calls in December from the shop that Delta Auto Protect still failed to pay their part. I contacted them and they promised me on 3 different occasions that it would be paid by the end of business that day. Come the new year and it still wasn't paid. I paid the balance so the shop would stop calling.

    I contacted Delta Auto Protect again and demanded to talk to a manager and I wanted a refund for the plan since they did absolutely nothing. I've been told at least 5 times a manager would call me back and still no call. They are a scam and a terrible business. I would not recommend anyone go with Delta Auto Protect. They can't even pay $310 in 6-7 months and they have terrible customer service. So I'm out over 2000$ and basically have no warranty now. They suck.

    Worst company ever. Don't even spend your time nor your money with this company. When buying, they will call you 10 times if needed even at night just to get you signed and get your money. But once they got your money good luck with that. If you call and one their receptionist answers the phone don't even waste your time giving your name, auto's info, ESP number, phone number and zip code (they ask you in that order) because nothing happens, they never call back. If you get lucky enough to get someone else besides being rude they don't even let you finish a sentence and will put you on hold every 20 seconds.

    I took my car to the dealer for a repair that I know had to be covered by this warranty on January 2nd, today is February 2nd, yes, 1 month and my car is still there because the dealer won't release my car until they get paid. Just for the dealer to be able to talk to someone to open a claim took a week, another week to approve the repair. Once the repair got done the dealer sent via fax and email the invoice with no response for 2 days. I called (by the way 3 times leaving my info like always and like always never getting a call back) and when I finally was able to talk to Jim ** he claimed that they never received any invoice from the Dealer, that they should've had sent it to him directly (like if we knew that).

    That same day the dealer and myself sent the invoice again. After that it took me another full day to be able to talk to someone just to confirm they had gotten the invoice, they guy that answered the phone didn't let me talk to Jim but I just heard him saying in the background the payment is approved and they will cut a check today. I even told him a check from Pennsylvania to California? Really, my car has been in the dealer for a month and you are going to send a check from coast to coast? "Sorry, we sent checks," he said. That was Friday. Tuesday, I called the dealer and no check yet so I called the Delta again, first time failed a receptionist answer and when I said I'm not giving you my info again because I already did it 6 times and no one time you guys have called me back she just hung up the phone.

    Second time I called, I chose the option to buy a new policy and guess what? They answered right away so I told him I wasn't buying anything but trying to find out about my claim for what they transferred me to Aaron **. Finally, a nicer guy but still all he said the check got sent last Friday so is in transit, should be there sometime this week, just have to wait. Today is Friday February 2, yes a month today since my car went to the shop and a week since they supposedly sent the check and the dealer just called me saying they need to get the car out of their lot but won't give it to me until they get payment. Lesson learned, you get what you pay, cheap warranty, cheap service and customer service.

Have probably called nearly 50 times and just get the same run-around from them. Same as with everyone else, they say a check was sent three times - of course, no check was ever received. They said they will put a stop payment on the check and pay via credit card, to which they never do - there is always a reason why it needs to be done a few days later or they have to submit the request and they will follow-up.

    Wonder how many times it takes to get my extended warranty cancelled... apparently I have to post a negative review in order for things to get rolling. Heard many claims over multiple sites that this establishment is fond of taking money, but when it's time for them to dish out money, it takes an arm and a leg to do it. I have called numerous times to get my policy cancelled and I've received the same response, "someone will get back to you," and guess what... NOBODY HAS GOTTEN BACK TO ME!     On 01/12/18 I was called back about a price quote request for an extended warranty on my car. The salesperson Jason was "very" quick to close the sale but when I expressed concerns that I might have to cancel in case my wife did not want to go with Delta coverage he assured me they had a full refund policy. He processed my card that day for the full amount, $1500.00. I called back that SAME day only a few hours later to cancel the plan through Delta. He assured me it would be cancelled and a full refund issued to me right away. He told me nothing else was required of me. On 01/16/18 I called back to see why my refund hadn't processed. I was told I had to fill out cancellation paperwork, which I did fill out and submit on 01/16/18. I was told the refund would take 3-5 days to process.

    I called back on 1/19/18 as no refund had been issued. They told me that financing department had not gotten around to processing my refund and it would either be that day on 01/19/18 or 01/22/18. I asked them to check with financing when the refund would be processed. They put me on hold and when they returned told me financing would process my refund in full on 01/22/18 and that it would take 3-5 days. When I asked to speak to financing they told me the financing department was closed for the day (at 2:00 pm?). I called back on 01/24/18 as I had not seen a refund. I was told it was processed on 01/22/18 but would take some time. Now they said 5-7 business days. They have been telling me they will process it back to my account no issues. They have suggested it's my bank tying it up. It's not.

    I called back today 01/30/18 on the 7th business day as I have seen no refund to my account. I was transferred to finance department which rang and rang and put me on hold for several minutes then told me no one was available and to leave a message. I did leave a message with my name, number, and issue. I called back to speak to someone and asked to be transferred to finance. After a long wait on the line, I was transferred to a girl who said she didn't have the authority to look up details on my account but she had reported it to a supervisor and "someone would be in contact with me very soon." She couldn't tell me when someone would call me back, either today or how many days from now.

    I told her I was going to report this as a claim to my bank, file a complaint with the BBB, Consumer Affairs, and if necessary involve my lawyer to seek my full refund I am entitled to. I also emailed their company spelling this all out as well. If it took 4 days for the payment they ran on 01/12/18 to clear from my account why would it take upwards of 10-12 business days to process my refund? Why didn't the sales guy tell me on 01/12/18 when I called back to cancel that I had to fill out a cancellation form? Why did the form I filled out on 01/16/18 for cancellation not get processed by "finance" department until 01/22/18? Why, if that refund was initiated on 01/22/18 has my bank told me they see NO INCOMING ACTIVITY from Delta on 01/30/18? Why haven't they issued my refund? This is not in good faith and feels fraudulent.

    I would like my FULL refund I am entitled to. I have already contacted and filed a claim with my bank to seek my refund from Delta. But I would also like this company to not engage this way in future with other customers. It's really not ethical or good business practice to make people chase their refunds down and have to deal with rude or misinformed workers and long wait times on telephone lines. I feel scammed and I'm glad I didn't end up going with their coverage. I just want my money back now that they owe me.

    I recently wrote a review of lack of invoice payments by Delta Auto Protect. The best way to obtain payment is to contact the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau serving Washington, DC and Philadelphia. I received a reimbursement check after the fact when Delta stated that they had sent a total of five different checks to me and or the repair facility. They even stated that they sent the check on December 4, 2017 for reimbursement two weeks before I actually paid the total invoice. And oh by the way, I never received that check sent on Dec. 4, 2018. And Delta had to send yet another check to cover their portion of the invoice.

    Today I received a call from Delta stating that I had committed fraud upon Delta Auto Protect. They seem to forget that they are still in breach of contract for not totally paying for a previous invoice and lying to the repair facility about payments being sent. I also told them to contact a lawyer to further pursue this issue. I will keep everyone informed on their actions. I was willing to let this issue go but they seem to want to air additional dirty laundry about their operations. Be aware of this company and how they do business. Please review other sites and make your own assessment of Delta Auto Protect procedures.

    So Jason ** at ext ** finally answered my calls and assured me he could help. He said he would reimburse my out of pocket repairs bill approx 60%. That's right only 60%. He then chastised me for paying the dealer even though Delta had not responded to my dealer after 2 days of calling. I needed my car so I paid the $1,200 to get the car fixed. Jason said they'd cover $695. As much as I wanted to argue, I just wanted something because they were so non responsive. So I agreed. "send me the invoice and I'll take care of this right away" I was told. So I scanned and sent the receipt within 30 minutes. Followed up with an email (still have a copy) asking if he received the dealer invoice I sent. He answered yes.
    The next day Jason then calls and wanted to know why I would put in a negative review on Consumer Affairs and chastised me for doing so. I told him this was prior to him finally answering my call but he basically called me a liar. He then said he wouldn't release anything if I didn't take down the review. I asked him, are you holding a claim hostage? When I challenged him on that, he agreed to send the check.
    5 days later, no check. Emails sent, no response. Phone calls made, Jason responds, "I never received the invoice" even though I have an email from him confirming that he received the invoice, so I resent the previous email. He again acknowledges he received. 4 days later the discounted check arrived.

    So in the end, it took almost 3 weeks to get this claim resolved and at a 60% of the invoice amount. Am I happy? No. Would I ever take out another Extended warranty with Delta? Heck no.

    This warranty service is awful. They sold it as having the same coverage as the manufacture warranty but they deny coverage to just about everything unless explicitly stated in the contract. Even if it is something that is covered they deny it until you complain enough that they have to accept it. Once accepted they do not cover the full parts/labor cost charged by the dealer.

    Updated on 02/05/2018: This is an update on my previous review. My car has been at the shop 3.5 weeks now waiting for Delta to agree to cover the cost of the heater core repair. Delta asked us to have the dash removed to expose the heater core ($1000+ in labor) and said once it was exposed they would send an adjuster to inspect and if the heater core needed replacement they would cover the cost per the contract. The Land Rover dealer determined the heater core was leaking and needed replacement but no one can get ahold of Delta to send the adjuster. We have called 20 times, left voicemails, and sent emails with no response. I highly recommend no one does business with this company.

    This company is a total fraud. I purchased their $2,000 top Diamond auto warranty plan. They sound so nice when selling you something... but they do not back it up when you have a claim. I have an approved claim by them that they wanted to save some money and send out their own replacement part to my car dealership where getting my car fixed. They 'supposedly' say they shipped the part over 4 weeks ago, but my dealership never received it. I have called in to them over 4 times in the past month asking them what is the problem. They 'swear' they shipped the part but NO ONE there can provide me with a tracking number of the shipment that supposedly went out. Each time I call I am put on hold for over an hour, where I then have to hang up and call back again. They will then answer when you call back, but then put you on hold again forever.

    I truly believe their tactic is just to have you get so fed up with them that you just give up trying. I'm on hold right now for the 4th time today! They just told me that the reason my item wasn't delivered was my car dealership refused the shipment. What???? I called my car dealership and got them on the line with me. They never refused any shipment. I then asked Delta Auto Protect if they had proof that the shipment was refused... of course we do he said. I said, "Well... I should be able to verify this very quickly if you just give me the tracking#." Gee guess what. Back on hold for over an hour and 2 more phone calls and no one will talk to me. No one will give me a tracking# because the item was never shipped!!! But they won't approve letting the car dealership use their own part. They must wait for the shipment that never went out!!! This place is a TOTAL FRAUD!!! Do not waste your money on this company. You will regret it!!!!

    Several months ago I paid $6350 for an extended warranty coverage for my car. My car broke nearly 3 months ago and was towed to the dealership for repairs. The diagnosis and an estimate was sent to Delta Auto Protect for a review and authorization by the service advisor. He called me in about two weeks just to tell me that Delta has not responded yet. After numerous phone calls by me and the service advisor for service authorization, they only authorized part of the repair and one third of the labor required to finish the first part of the necessary repairs.

    They stated that the second part of the repair included a component that was clearly stated in my contract as a non-covered item. That was proven to be incorrect and an absolute false statement. Delta Auto Protect is running a dishonest business with representatives who make false statements and empty promises, Quick to take your money and extremely tight to let it go and spend it when you need them. Do Not waste your time and money with this company. I learned it the hard way but you don’t have to.

    It is very hard to get to talk the claims representative, and there will minimum 40 mins. hold to talk to claims, they say they will call us back, but they never do, you call again. They say they will talk to serviceman directly, they won't do, after calling them for more than a month, we will be told nothing is covered. Any engine repair they say it is covered only during complete rebuilt.

    Wednesday November 15, 2017 I had a car repair done on my car. This is the first time I used my warranty since I purchased the policy in November of 2016. I've paid $1,400 of a $1,800 policy. My ESP# is **. The cost of my repair is $536.00, of which I paid my $100.00 deductible. The repair shop tried for 3 days to contact Delta Auto to have them pay the repair, which they authorized prior to the work starting (authorization number is **). Delta Auto has not returned the calls for payment. Now I have been left to pay a bill that is supposed to be covered. I am also out of the $1,400 that I have already paid Delta Auto Protect.

    I would like all of my money back from them. I researched them as much as I could before I bought them. There wasn't much of anything on the BBB website at that time. Since I originally found them through the ConsumerAffairs' site, I thought they were respectful. I see that I was wrong. I will also be making a complaint to the Attorney General's office in PA as well as here in NY. I will also put a complaint on the BBB website so that others checking will be warned.

    I own and operate an auto repair shop in Houston, Texas that has been in business since 1968. In all the years that I have dealt with extended warranty companies on behalf of my customers, I have never had a more disgusting experience with any extended warranty company than I have had with Delta Auto Protect.

    I entered a claim for my customer with Delta Auto Protect which they approved for far less than what was necessary to complete the job. That aside, I was told that once the repair work was completed and I sent in the invoice to them that I would be paid via credit card within 48 hours. I have called countless times and have been repeatedly been told to resend the invoice, which I have four times (3 via fax and 1 via email). I have been told that finance department had a software problem and my invoice was lost. I have been told that a check is being issued, I have been told that I would be called the next day by the finance dept to issue me a credit card payment. I am constantly put on hold and eventually the call goes to voicemail and I have left countless messages.

    I have not been paid for my portion of the work as of today which is over 2 weeks. I have been lied to repeatedly from just about every employee I have spoken with regarding my reimbursement. Again, I deal with dozens of warranty companies every month and have never dealt with a more unprofessional or dishonest company. I would not recommend this company to anyone wishing to purchase an extended warranty for their automobile. I regret that this reviewing system requires a minimum of one star as this company deserves zero stars.

    I had a very bad experience with Delta. About 3 months ago, I bought Diamond Premier extended warranty for both my cars. They gave a great quote compare to other companies. I was very excited to have a coverage with a very low price. What I was looking for was to extend the manufacturing warranty for few more years.

    When I talked to the salesperson. I got the impression that they would cover everything. They charged my credit cards right away and everything was smooth until I had a claim. After 3 months the steering wheel of my car did not move anymore automatically when you entered/exited the car. The wheel did not move with the button either.

    I called Delta and created a claim. Next day I took the car to the BMW dealership for repair. The dealer sends a quote to Delta for replacing steering column and Delta refused to pay. The argument was the steering column is not part of list of coverage parts. Of course, the part was not in the list of coverage parts but it was not in the noncoverage part either. Basically, noncoverage part are all consumable parts which makes sense. But there are thousands of parts in each car that is not on the coverage list. Every new car has very new components that can not be covered in one generic contract.

    Delta offers to pay about 10% of the quote from the dealership as goodwill but I did not accept it. Anyway, I canceled the warranty and I am still waiting for the check after 2 weeks. The interesting part was that they deducted $275 from the premium because of some phony excuse called registration. I never seen any service company charge for registration. Not only they did not provide the service, they also deduct pro-rated amount from the premium and the registration fee and other stuffs when I canceled the contract. At the end Delta is fast to charge your credit card to sell the contract but offers minimal service after that. You will be on hold half hour each time you call.

    The garage called Delta and explained the issue. We needed a reconditioned gearbox as the 3rd & 4rth gears were damaged. Delta agreed to order and arrange for a new gearbox to be delivered. That was 9 days ago and we are still waiting for the box.     I purchased a 2010 Maserati convertible 18 months ago and decided to purchase an extended warranty and chose Delta based on their reputation. I bought a bumper to bumper warranty for $5110. Two weeks ago my car went for a service and asked the garage to check an issue with the convertible roof, truck did not open and play in the steering column.

    The garage listed the parts required to resolve the issue and contacted Delta. They apparently did not cover the issues with the roof and trunk but would cover the steering column. Ten days later the car is still in the shop and still waiting on the replacement column despite me calling them several times and told that the part was on route and due to be delivered today. I then receive a call from the shop telling me that Delta just called and the part was never ordered and they would only cover $500 of the $3900 part. This company is a bad as all the rest. They lie when trying to sell you policy. Lie when you call them for updates on a claim and do not honor the contract they sell you. To all those thinking about buying protection from Delta, think again.

    You get what you pay as is the case with Delta Auto Protect. I work at a dealership and have filed repair claims with this company two times and have yet to be paid on either claim. One dates back to March of 2017. I have called numerous times and been given nothing but the runaround of we will call you back or the check is in the mail. No supervisor to speak to who can assist with getting paid. Got to doing some digging and apparently their service is so bad the company president had to put a letter on their webpage saying they were not affiliated with another group doing the same thing. Well, they may not be the same group but their communication and follow up suck. I had to speak with someone in the overflow department who told me I should hear something by the end of the next business day. I won't hold my breath.

    So, Charles Seruya, Mr. President of DAP, if you are still there, I would like for you to explain to me and all the people who think your coverage is sooo affordable and great, why my company can't get paid for repairs your company agreed to and authorized. In my eyes, they are clearly pocketing the money paid for contracts and not paying out any money for repairs, leaving the dealer or customer to foot the bill. I will also be filing a claim with the BBB and contacting the Attorney General to explore my options. 6 months waiting to be paid for something that was supposed to be paid in 24 hrs is unacceptable. Good luck buying their warranty protection folks, save your money and pay out of pocket if this is the only coverage you can afford. If anyone at DAP would like to speak with me, Jen, Geneva, Jackie, Jeff, and Aaron all have my contact information. They have taken it several times, however I am still waiting for a returned call.

    Not bumper to bumper as advertised, I paid $300 Delta. Paid $600. Bought a new truck and wanted to get a warranty for the Bumper to Bumper Diamond Premiere plan: The sales guys were adamant that I just "take it to the dealer" and "it's all paid for", "we pay the dealer directly", "no worries." Well as expected the AC condenser failed at 40k miles (great right) no longer covered so I said, "Call Delta, they will take care of it." Well they call, I call, they call, I call, leave messages meanwhile my truck sits, and sits.

    Finally 5 hours later I reach someone to "authorize the repairs?" The service advisor calls me back and says "they looked up a condenser on the internet and are only paying the online price for the part, not genuine GM parts." Me ok, well what else. "They won't pay for all of the labor (expected dealer labor is inflated at times) nor the freon, servicing, o-rings and seals and evacuating the freon." Something is better than nothing, but still not what was advertised. They answer the phone if you are buying, but collecting, that is another story.

    About three weeks ago my car started saying Drivetrain Malfunction, and would stall into first gear. I brought it to get a quick test at AutoZone and the error code read Wastegate valve, but they couldn't fix it so they sent me to Firestone next door. Firestone got the same error and said it was specifically my turbo engine and they could not help me further. Thus, I took it Davie Motors, a shop nearby my home that specializes in European cars. There, they hooked my car up to a BMW specialized computer and got the same error codes (along with one more that the others could not pick up, my belt issue, but that is irrelevant). That was two and a half weeks ago.

    From there, the shop proceeded to attempt to get in touch with Delta Auto Protect (I have a Diamond Premiere extended warranty contract with them for 95,000 more miles) to ensure they would cover my engine parts, which are explicitly stated in my contract under section V part A turbo charger: all internal parts covered. Unfortunately for them, the cost was around $4,000 (how much I paid for my warranty). The shop immediately left them a voicemail and two emails. After two days of no response, I attempted to reach out to them as well. Over the next week, I reached out to them an average of 8 times per day attempting to have someone call the shop (they attempted the same as well). No response. About 9 days from the day I dropped it off, I finally got a response, and they sent an inspector to check out my car.

    The inspector came, drove my car with the technician, saw the error and felt my car go into first gear to protect itself. When they got back to the shop, the technician hooked the car up to the computer and showed him the same error codes and a week and a half prior. The inspector told him to reset the light, and he did. Because the light did not immediately come back on, he said her car isn't broken, and he left. The shop called me, just as frustrated as me, and said they told him it can take up to 3 run cycles for the car to show the light again. They insisted I leave the car for one more night because they know the light will return.

    The next day, it did, just as they said. He hooked it up to the computer, and it was all of the same error codes. I attempted, over the next four days, to get in touch with the warranty, and at one point was even put on hold for 35 minutes. She finally said, “My supervisors just won't talk to you. I'm sorry”, took my email and hung up. I'm not sure if this happens often, but I have never dealt with anything like this in my life. My shop said on average it should take 24 hours to hear back from a warranty. I told them I want to press charges and still have not heard back. It has been two and a half weeks and if they don't get back to me tomorrow I will.

I should have listen to the old saying, "You get what you pay for." I purchased the middle policy Which was the top one for my 2011 Ford F-250 due to mileage from a very nice salesman. I got the policy in the mail and realized it didn’t cover all A/C components I thought it did. I called back to cancel it and they tried about 12 time convince me I needed and sent me to 4 different people so each one could try and convince me to keep it. Extremely pushy at this point.

    Finally after they made me so mad that I started cursing they offered me the policy I wanted in the first place which I agreed to keep.     I purchased an extended warranty plan with Delta Auto Protect in November of 2016. I have filed two claims. In both cases Delta was extremely slow to approve the work, but even slower to pay the dealer. The first claim took over a month to pay the dealer. The second claim is 3 weeks old and they have paid nothing. Delta tries to force you to take non original equipment parts and used parts that are not covered by the dealer. Delta tries to short the dealer on hours and rates. The dealer hates working with them, I hate working with them. My advice is to not purchase an extended warranty from Delta and ask your dealer who they recommend for an extended warranty.

    I was purchasing a vehicle with a lot of miles on it so I decided to get an auto warranty. I went with Delta because they have more coverage and better prices. Someone recommended Sean, Delta's protection specialist, to me. He was thorough and quick and it was easy because I had his extension. So I didn't have to go through like 50 million different people just to talk to one person.

    I wish Delta would have more details in the vehicle. Most warranty companies need to know a little bit more about vehicle models. That would be helpful. Have a quick reference sheet, lob it on the phone with the customers so that they can know a little bit more about some comments and common problems because that would really help with narrowing down which package they decide to go with. I'm more of a visual person and I was waiting on a pamphlet or a brochure so that when in the event something happening I know more details about the package that I got.     We got a new car for my daughter. It's only four years old but it has a little bit of mileage on it so we wanted to get an auto warranty for extra protection. I went on Google and Delta Auto Protect came up. I called them the first time and got a rate of $2,000 and a 30-day guarantee, but my husband, who doesn’t believe in warranties, doesn't want to get it so he wanted me to call and cancel it. We were also in the process of buying a house for our college kids and paying for college so he told me not to get the warranty.

    When I called to cancel, the guy said that he'll get $400 off so our total cost would be $1,500. They already charged me for that but they told me I can cancel in 30 days. I went to talk to my husband about it and he still refused. So I called back again last week and ended up talking to Brian. Then we pay so much a month for the next 18 months.     Our previous warranty had expired and since we still have a payment on our car, we thought it would be a good idea to keep the car under warranty so we can keep our expenses fixed while we finished paying off the car.     We had some miscommunication with Delta Auto Protect, but it was alright. Their customer service team was good and it seemed like they can cover the things that was wrong with my car. When I bought the warranty with Steve, I had specifically remember him saying that my car is covered bumper to bumper but he went back on his word and said it wasn't bumper to bumper. When I filed my claim, they were cool. I got Mercedes to talk to them, and everything that was wrong with my car before, they said was not covered. So I had to pay out of pocket. But Ryan was more helpful and reasoned with us, and put $125 towards my thing but I ended up dishing out $500. Hopefully nothing goes wrong in the future with my car. They will get your money right away but if your car get broken they will tell you that is a pre existing problem, then when you cancel the policy forget about the whole money back.     I had a seven-year policy when I bought the car and it was going to expire this year. I had planned on keeping it as long the car would run because it's very nice car so I don't have to worry in case something happens to it.     I have a seven year old Mercedes Benz and it’s a very expensive car to repair. I went to the ConsumerAffairs website and Delta Auto Protect was rated second best. The best rated company was considerably more expensive while Delta Auto Protect had the combination of online rating and reasonable cost. The representatives were also very respectful.     I purchased a beautiful Range Rover and wanted to make sure that I have an auto warranty with it. In addition, I've always had warranties on all of our cars. Shaun, the salesman of Delta Auto Protect, promised various things that he would do and he also extended some perks, and he was very convincing and sold me a warranty with Delta. But, sadly, my claim with them on a stuck gasket on my Rover has gone terribly wrong. We had a tow truck take my vehicle to the Range Rover repair shop because when you're dealing with a nice car you want the original people to deal with it.

    Delta’s specialist was sent out twice and said that the problem was indeed a stuck gasket. The car had just been through a checkup and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. The car is in great shape but it has been sitting in the shop for a week and a half now because Delta will not approve making the repair. Also, we have a car rental company that’s charging our credit card everyday and they have called Delta countless times, and my husband and I have called Delta countless times as well. They said they’d look into it and send it “upstairs.” It's just a 100% runaround. It has been very discouraging and the sad thing about it was I had the opportunity to rescind within 30 days, but it's been over 30 days now, so I can't get my money back. I got the premier plan and it's doing nothing. Delta said that they were going to take care of everything and I would like them to do what their salesman promised me he would do.

    I did my due diligence and shopped around. Delta had the best price and was told that it would be " bumper to bumper" coverage for the "Diamond Premier". Once paid and received the actual coverage I find that it doesn't really cover "bumper to bumper"... For instance if my cluster goes out on my dashboard and I can no longer see if I am in park or what my mileage is OR my door handle breaks and I cannot open the door, they will not cover the repair. Praying that this does not happen and not sure if I like this but will see what will happen and if the coverage is worth it. Anyone else come across this?

    As a customer seeking an extended warranty, I am doing my due diligence which requires asking questions and comparing different companies. And one would expect that the customer service rep for the warranty company be patient and offer detailed answers. Well, I did not receive that kind of service when speaking to 2 different Delta reps. I received short answers and never felt like either one of them wanted to help me out. The price maybe cheaper compared to Endurance or Carchex but the initial customer service supports is extremely lacking. And this is the reason they did not get my business. Endurance and Carchex reps took their time explaining the contract and answering all of my questions.

    I've had several auto warranties in the past and I think it's a wise investment. I don’t usually buy new cars. I buy lower mileage used cars and getting warranty is a lot better deal overall. Delta Auto Protect had good ratings overall and they had better prices compared to the other company I was looking at. Delta also handles everything in-house, which is important to me. The last one I had had a third party that handled all the claims and that was a little bit of a hassle.

    I had some bad experiences with some used cars and things were expensive having no long-range warranty. I ended up losing the whole car because it would cost more to fix it than the car was worth and just took it to the junkyard. It’s one of those things where I felt like I may not need a warranty, but as long as the price doesn’t totally keep me from doing it, it’s a good investment. The last warranty I had was with one of the dealers and was not quite as good as Delta Auto Protect. It was a 36,000-mile warranty and there was a deductible. I paid $2,200 through the dealer for this warranty. The one that Delta had covered more than theirs did and there was no deductible. Delta also covered more mileage of 45,000 and it's another 12,000 miles for less money.

    The fellow that I talked to knew right away everything that I asked him and the answers with it. I told him that I would check some other places and he said that he’ll give it to me for $1,400 instead of $1,700 and that he'll make it no deductible if I wanna do it, which changed my mind and I was happy about that option. Then I asked him if he would mail me the policy, and he said he will. I printed it off when I got it so I've got something to carry in my glove box. He was helpful and cordial. He also explained to me that I could take the car to an ASE certified shop or to a dealer and that was cool to me because I got a Mini Cooper and there’s not a lot of shops for that so I’d rather take it to the dealer if I could.

    Then it was strange communicating through emails trying to send pictures of my VIN and my license tag. It was intense and took me two hours to sign up. That part was a drag. I just thought if they could figure out a way to do it without pictures. Because as long as the number that was sent matched when they did the repairs on the car, what’s the difference between having a picture of the tag? That just kinda bothered me. But it’s been a pleasant experience all around. I felt good about the price, the coverage, and the deductible. All the correspondence back and forth has been pretty easy. I just bought it and I'm hoping I don’t have to use it. But if I do, I feel like I’ve got something to back me up beside my bank account.

    When I purchased the vehicle at the dealership, they offered me some warranty on my car but it was very pricey. So I shopped around and came across Delta. I called to get a quote and I was planning on going with them because the price they gave me was cool. I gave my account information to the rep I talked to and he told me that if I waited until the next day the price he gave me may not be available. But I told him to wait as I wanted to call the dealership first to see if they would counter the price or if I could get a better kind of warranty through them because I really wanted a warranty through the dealership. But by the time I called the dealership and checked my account, I was at work. Then I got a notification that such and such amount has been deducted out from my account. But I wasn't aware of that and I didn't give the initial go ahead for them to deduct the payment out of my account.

    They also pretty much told me that everything was covered and that if my car breaks down, I should call them and they'd get it towed for me. But my car had an issue last week so I called them for a tow. It was during business hours and they told me I have to pay for it then they'll see about reimbursing it. Also, my car is sitting at the shop now and I’ve yet to get it fixed because the people are waiting on Delta.

    And when I wanted to cancel the warranty, Delta told me that if I did that, they'll keep the set-up fee of $400 and send me partial even though I've never used the warranty since I signed up. So I said they should hold on to it. But if they don't fix my car, then I'm canceling even if they give me half of what I paid. I've lost money and they're not very honest. They're not upfront with what is covered by the warranty. They will tell the customer that everything is covered just to make sales. Then when I call them and try to speak with somebody in the service department, I can't even get anybody. They would send me to the receptionist.

    My auto warranty had expired from when I previously bought the truck. I shopped four warranty companies but talking to Josh from Delta Auto Protect made me feel comfortable with what I was purchasing and he seemed to give me a better deal than anybody else, too. He was also very helpful, responsive and he answered all the questions pretty thoroughly. I had to use the warranty not too long ago and I contacted him and he made sure everything got taken care of. It took them a few days to get a part approved and they said that the system was being restarted so, it was taking longer than normal. But that was taken care of and it was great. Having an extended warranty is very valuable and I’m glad I purchased the policy from them.

    I called Delta Auto because I had only gotten email response as far as paperwork and I was wondering if I needed a card, like an identification card, but apparently, they don't issue that. It would've been nice to have an ID card that you could present if you go into a dealer and say, "Here’s my warranty information." Delta doesn't provide that. Other than that, it has been fine so far.

    I had a problematic Mercedes with expensive repairs, and since Delta Auto Protect was the cheapest with the same coverage, at least on paper, I signed up with them. They were fairly helpful. Although they didn't tell me how to file claim, I see it on the paperwork. They explained what was covered and how it worked and then I read the contract that they sent and that backed up what the claims were. The contact process and the paperwork were abnormally difficult, but I was able to figure it out.

    I looked into getting an extended auto warranty for my daughter as she's recently in college. The people at the car dealership were a little pushy and could not answer some of the concerns that I have but when I called Delta, they clearly went through the coverage and how I would go about getting the care that the car required at any given time. I found out also that they were available throughout the after hours. The plan was affordable and by paying upfront, it had me eligible for discounts rather than doing the monthly installment. It was a plus and always an incentive when I can get some sort of discounts on things.

    Last week, I filed a claim. I simply gave them a call and it was after hours so they reached out to me the very next morning. The most recent guy that I've talked to was phenomenal. It was just great when he reached out and guided me in the right direction for the car repair. He gave me instructions as to where to take the car to get it evaluated for whatever problems it was experiencing and right away, we got it up in there and got it fixed. They handled everything and we didn't have to deal with the payment. My car is still fairly new but when the time comes for me to look into that type of plan for my vehicle, I'm definitely going to push it. I would definitely recommend them and have referred two people to look into it.
