In May 2018 I purchased a warranty from Josh at Delta Auto Protect for a used car. He was friendly and then 2 months later when the vehicle needed repair. It was brought to a Nissan dealer and they declined payment after initially approving it on 6/8. My service rep contacted the claims department @ 10;30 am on and they stated "we are busy we will take the account ESN#" and call you back. At 2:30 pm they never called her back. When I called I asked to speak to a supervisor who was extremely short and rude. I explained my partner and I were sharing cars and I needed a rental so I could get to my job. I am essential personnel. He grew even more frustrated with routine and reasonable questions. While he told me to please hold. This rep in claims began talking to his co-worker and said "Jesus this guy is a big **." I was then hung up on.
When I called back to express my dismay I was referred to as "man" then I was told they would escalate. After explaining the circumstances not 5 minutes later the dealership called me and was denying payment when on 6/8 one component was approved. Then for another component they tried to negotiate with Nissan for their price for a wheel bearing. When Nissan would not negotiate they stated they would ship and "guarantee" their own parts.
Under the National Average most legitimate warranty companies and dealerships use (ALL DATA TIME). NOT Delta. They stated our records suggest this will only take 1.7 hours not the (ALL DATA TIME) of 3 hours. Now I am stuck with a diagnostic fee of $150.00 1.3 hours of labor and a rental. I have lost time at work. I was humiliated in front of the Nissan dealership staff. "My warranty comes with rental coverage." This is a safety issue. They told the dealership "have him call us so you don't have to be the bad guy."
It's now Thursday. The part has NOT come yet. Aaron the supervisor stated he would monitor this claim. He has yet to return my call or email and my car remains to date unrepaired. I feel there is too much of a Nexus from the rude encounters the disparaging comments, being hung up on. This entire company is a sham and unprofessional. I will be contact the PA Attorney General along with the Massachusetts Attorney General so to petition that Delta will no longer be permitted to sell to Massachusetts consumers. Furthermore I will be contacting both States BBB and my personal attorney.

We submitted claim over 3 weeks ago and have fax sent confirmation. After several calls and speaking with several people that promised resolution still no payment. Now when we call and give them the claim number they immediately send us to a general voicemail and never call back. They DO NOT pay the mechanic shops. Google them for no payment.

I found it necessary to get an extended warranty. I was happy to get a deal from Delta on my policy. After doing a lot of research, I found that they offered me the most cost-effective, but comprehensive option. I wanted a top-class car, but couldn't fathom having to pay full price for repairs. As a middle school teacher, I was fortunate to find this company. Recently, I had an issue with the car's electrical system. The alternator was malfunctioning and needed to be completely replaced. Out of pocket, the new alternator was close to $800 and the labor would cost me as well. With my extended warranty, I had to pay just a fraction of the cost. So in short, this warranty really saved my pockets.

The big picture: Beware of this company. Two hours after I stupidly agreed to purchase an extended warranty, I decided to cancel. They claim buyers have a “30 Day Money Back Guarantee – No questions Asked.” I didn’t wait even one day before I began asking for a refund. It took weeks, countless phone calls, many emails, complaints to third parties to get it. When they finally agreed to return my money, they tried to demand that in return I sign a release which included a Non-disclosure agreement and agreement to remove any negative reviews (which I had not written, as of then). I would have to delete any negative information about them, wait for 60 days for them to make sure that I had done so and then they would return my money.
Also, if in the future I spoke to anyone about them I would owe them $1,500 plus attorney fees. Read the countless reviews of them online and notice that a large percentage of them say “Customer increased rating by 3 Stars” “4 Stars”. Then read the “positive reviews”; I am reading a five-star review now that starts in all caps “Crooks and Scammers” and ends (also in all caps) “Do not work with these people.” One such review is strange. There are too many about this company for it to be an anomaly. I assume they mistakenly signed the release and were forced to change their rating to get their money. I did not.
Now for the details: On June 22, 2018 I spoke on the phone with a sales rep from Delta Auto Protect. (as an aside they bill your credit card as ‘Delta Auto Parts’ not ‘Protect’- not sure if that means anything or not). They told me that they could cover my car with an extended warranty for $2,200, but if I agreed during the call they would lower the price to $1,500 and waive the deductible, but I would have to act immediately. I was assured by their website that I could cancel for any reason, no questions asked, and get a full refund anytime in the first 30 days.
I stupidly agreed and gave them my debit card for processing. Within two hours I regretted my decision and tried to call them. It was after business hours, so I wrote them an email asking to cancel and asking for a full refund. I sent that email that evening and again on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday morning June 25, 2018 I telephoned and spoke with Aaron ** and told him I wanted to cancel. He spent a lot of time trying to talk me out of it and asking a lot of question about why I wanted to cancel. I stayed calm and polite and just kept repeating that I wanted to cancel. He finally agreed and said he would send an email confirmation.
Within an hour he sent me a long list of reviews praising his company. There was no mention of cancellation. I wrote back asking to cancel. He wrote back offering to increase the cancellation period to 60 days. I wrote back demanding to cancel. After hours past I repeated my request. He wrote back saying I would get an email about the cancellation. Thereafter I got an email asking that I sign a release. I read the release and it contained a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) wherein I promised to pay them $1,500 plus atty fees if disused my experiences with anybody. It also gave them 60 days to return my money. I wrote back that 60 days was unreasonable as was signing away my free speech rights. A later release sent days later added a requirement that I remove any and all negative reviews on comments online. It gave them 60 days to check if I had reviewed them before they would refund my money.
I asked if they had any authority to make such demands. Please remember that I have never been given a contract as I attempted to cancel within hours of agreeing and I only agreed because I was assured I could cancel without questions or hassle. I demanded that they cancel without my signing this release. I did offer to sign a release that I would not make a claim under the warranty without those demands. I got a voicemail the following morning from Aaron ** saying the contract had been cancelled and my funds would be in my account in 2-3 days, depending upon my bank's actions. There was no mention of the release.
A week later when the funds had not been returned. I emailed Aaron ** and demanded my funds. He wrote back that I needed to sign the release, thereby admitting that his prior voicemail was untrue - the contract had not been cancelled and the refund had not been issued. I refused to sign and filed complaints with the BBB and my bank. I made it clear that I wanted my money and that I would not waive my free speech rights in order to get it. Finally, I did get a refund, but this is clearly not a no questions asked refund. I had to fight and endure endless frustration to get it. If they will fight a full refund request made within hours of the purchase, I believe those other reviews which detail how they fight paying claims. In case some might wonder if I can prove these facts. I have every email, voicemail recording, requested release and other documents to establish each of my claims.

The summer heat felt brutal for me, but my car was feeling it even worse! In the midst of a terrible heatwave, my poor little car on the brink of repeat overheat. I was having to stop every few miles to fill her up with water. Thanks to my extended vehicle warranty on her, I got the problem checked out at a nearby repair shop. It was the car's cooling system! Another great feature of the warranty is that I was able to get a rental car in the interim. It seemed like no time at all before I was back on the road, smiling in my own car. So awesome!

I've been using my car every day despite the alignment being messed up. I've been told by several mechanics and friends alike that I need to get this taken care of ASAP, but for a while it was just too far out of my reach. I had a lot of bills to take care of so I was trying to find the right time to allocate some funds to take care of that, as well as a few other repairs on the vehicle that make driving it a little bit of a nuisance. I decided to take a chance and call Delta to see if this would be a repair they covered with my policy. And it turned out, it was. If only, I had called sooner (knowledge is power!). Soon thereafter I was speaking to someone in the claims department while my car was in the shop. If I hadn't known that this was available to me, I would've had to pay for this out of pocket completely. Foolish, as this ends up happening to a lot of people. Not me friends. Delta has me taken care of.

In mid-July, my car had a huge breakdown. I had it towed to a nearby garage and after assessing the car, the mechanic concluded that it was a transmission issue. I was in a panic because I needed my car for work and I'd never really had a major issue with it before. I called Delta to file a claim for my car to be fixed, and it was very evident to the rep that I was stressed. After filing my claim, she asked if there was anything else she could do to make my time without my car easier. She reminded me that I was actually able to get a rental car with my policy while my car was in the shop. That was amazing news!
I was able to get a rental for four days, and was able to get to work as usual. What a great service! I am back in my car now (which is working like new), and avoided situation that could've been stressful on me and my pockets because I decided to purchase this warranty a few months ago. I highly recommend. The service is grand and their pricing is the best of all the other warranty companies I considered.

Phone service is awful unless you are purchasing the warranty. Option 1 get picked up right away, but you get transferred to indefinite hold, Option 2 get hold music for less than 30 minutes followed a very unhelpful voice who takes message that are never returned. I was trying to transfer my 11 month old, never used 5 year warranty to another vehicle because I sold the one I originally purchased it for. I was told "no problem" complete the transfer for that will be emailed and it will be taken care of within 2 days. It has been 4 weeks since my initial call and now I'm just requesting a refund and going elsewhere. This has been an eye opening experience. How can I expect production on a warranty if they can't even transfer an accounts information in a months time.

I just feel that I need to warn others about how horrible this company has been to deal with. I tried calling so many times and never once were any of the messages returned. We purchased a Diamond Premier warranty to help protect our daughter's vehicle and when the transmission went out and the dealer's shop notified Delta, it took over a week for the Delta to send a representative to review it and another week to determine they wanted the transmission broke down further to find the source which was $1,000 more dollars. Due to the lack of any feedback, the dealer as well as we didn't trust Delta would pay for any of the repairs even though the car was covered Diamond Premier warranty and we elected not proceed. It sad when try to protect what you have, pay $1,600.00 to Delta, sign a warranty and no one in this company would help.

I recently purchased a BMW 325. I am very proud of my vehicle, and decided to look for an extended warranty for my it, since I knew I would be driving my car for work a lot. I found Delta after doing some research online, and reading reviews on sites such as this one. I decided to give them a call for a quote, and after speaking at-length with a rep, I found the cost of my preferred plan was reasonable enough for me to invest. It is definitely worth it to me. I feel more secure in adding the miles on my car since the major components including the engine and transmission are covered in case of any failures.

I just renewed my policy for my family's two cars.

I've been fortunate to have enjoyed the services of Delta twice and I was completely blown away. My friend has been a customer of them for a few years and I remember him constantly bragging about how great of a deal he was getting on his car repairs. I decided to check them out and ended up purchasing a policy myself. My friend was definitely right about the savings. I was also given a really great deal for signing up during their flash sale. They also offer a 30 day money back guarantee, so really there was nothing to lose. It is well past 30 days and I am still a happy customer. I recently had a problem with my vehicle starting and was able to call for a tow, at no extra cost. The other time I used my warranty was to fix the passenger side lock. It was really easy to get it fixed with the warranty and I was really impressed by the savings. I will definitely give them a ten-star rating if I could.

Delta Auto Protect is really just a standard car warranty company in its offerings, but what really makes it stand out from other companies is its impeccable customer service, and your ability to use the warranty at repair sites of your choosing. I travel a lot for the second point is really important to me. I don't want to have to search around for a garage that is "in-network," per se. The rate for deductibles is reasonable, the cost in my opinion is affordable. I needed more options for my policy and they were able to give me additional coverage choices. The agent I worked with really seemed knowledgeable about the coverage options, which made him really instrumental and helping me make a decision on which plan to choose. I am very pleased with Delta Auto Protect. I recommend highly.

I've been hesitant to purchase an extended warranty for any vehicle I've owned, but with my current car, I decided to make an exception. I'm really glad I did. I've always considered myself a safe driver, in the sense that I take great care of my car and am pretty responsible, but I've run into a streak of bad luck in the past year. It has included locking keys in my car while it was still running, a transmission repair that I neglected to schedule in a timely manner, and running out of gas on the interstate. Luckily, the plan I purchased provided coverage for both the out of gas emergency and the locksmith issue, and approved a large portion of my claim for the transmission repair. I'm not sure I would've been able to afford it otherwise. My car would probably still be sitting in the garage. This warranty has been an investment in the future stability of my bank account.

I think I made a good decision in purchasing my extended warranty plan from this company. I purchased the Diamond, which is the basic option, but it works for me. If you're thinking about it, honestly, take your time to make the right decision but it'll more than likely be worth it. For me, it's an extra source of protection that reassures me that if something ever goes wrong, that I'll be covered and have my car problems taken care of. I honestly don't know that much about vehicles and probably spend more time at a garage than an average person, so anything that'll help save me money in that regard is well worth it for me. I feel great about it, from when I purchased it to when I first used it.
The process was really easy and even the guys at the garage I always go to were pleased to work with Delta Auto Protect. I was able to get the alternator on my car repaired for a great deal. I feel secure knowing that this company has such a good reputation and that I have such great coverage with them, which makes me feel like I'm well protected and taken care of.

Having an extended warranty for my recent car purchase really gives me the peace of mind I've always needed. I've had a history of driving older vehicles and never looked forward to the inconvenient breakdown, especially if it was something as serious as a transmission or engine repair. I never want to be in the position again. Those can be incredibly costly and I drive my vehicle a lot. The added roadside assistance also brings a tremendous amount of comfort. With my older vehicles issues would arise at any time, day or night, on the highways or city streets and it was always scary not knowing how I'd get the car towed or a tire replaced in the middle of the hustle and bustle, rain or heat. Fortunately, I've been able to guard myself against the unknowns. If anything ever does arise, I'm confident my extended warranty will cover me.

An extended warranty on a vehicle is that one thing that most car buyers step over. I was almost one of those people. I kept asking myself “Is it worth it?” “What comes with it?” “Will the time ever come that I need it,” as I was doing research. I found a study shows that 55% of people never have to use their extended warranty, but what if you do, I asked myself. What if I end up in the 45th percentile. If I'm in the 45th percentile, I will have no worries of how my car problems will be repaired and paid for. I decided that I wanted to be in the 45th percentile. The pros far outweighed the cons of purchasing a warranty, so I decided to give it a try. I purchased my warranty from this company, and although I have not yet had to use it, I feel well prepared.

I consider this warranty offer a good value. This is coming from someone who did his research on the extended warranty market. Having had expensive visits at front-end shops in the past, I now enjoy peace of mind knowing that I have basically taken care of the cost of major repairs for the next few years. Even if my brakes fail, I still have only paid one bill.

PROS - specific to your needs, lesser mileage restrictions, 24 hour roadside assistance, covers costly repairs. CONS - gambling with cost. When purchasing my new vehicle this year my main concern was reliability and how long I would be able to keep it. Having an extended warranty basically allowed me to have the car I wanted and ensure that if any major repairs were to be had such as transmission, engine or systematically I would be covered. It's tailored specifically to meet needs of mine that basic car warranties do not.
Having an extended warranty I'm offered a greater variety of products and services that fit my specific needs as well as coverage for more mileage and time than original warranties offer. The only con I found is you are taking a gamble with the cost. You may never need the coverage, but chances are if you plan on keeping your car you will so I think ultimately it is worth it to get it. It does not cover repairs from car crashes however in the grand scheme of things it's completely worth it.

It was a week-long trip that would essentially be a memorable moment in all of our lives, especially my daughter’s. My husband decided to invest in an extended warranty and I am so blessed that he did. It’s the little things like problems with the breaks or tires that can ruin a trip. As the trip was extensive, it was too much of a risk to not buy the warranty. In one occasion, my husband happened to lock his keys inside the car when we were at a rest stop in New York. We were able to utilize the emergency locksmith services coverage in our plan. It really did make our road trip in dropping off our daughter a memorable and safe moment.

I was surprised to find out that the Delta plan I purchased covered both engine and transmission fixes, which can be a very burdensome cost to drivers. I've found my extended warranty to provide great benefits to me. I was able to cancel my AAA because my warranty also offered provisions for roadside assistance and towing. I haven't had to get any damage to my car repaired yet, but in case of any damaged components or faults that arises I will be able to use my warranty to partially cover any repairs. Having a safeguard any unforeseen damages and defects is definitely reassuring and useful. I can't imagine it not being worth the money. I am a satisfied customer.

Ever hear the reference “You don’t know a good thing until it’s gone”? That reference doesn’t apply better than to living without an extended warranty on your vehicle. I was once a proud owner of a 2014 Mercedes C-Class. I was absolutely in love with the car. The best vehicle I’ve probably ever driven. Like most people, I was skeptical about the dealership and the people who sold me the car in regards to picking up the extended warranty option. At the time, I decided to decline. Little did I know that I was making a HUGE mistake. Within months, I started having trouble with the transmission and engine. Due to newer cars being more inclined to rely on electrical and computerized systems, my car was acting up in ways that I could not predict nor have the financial means to resolve. Unfortunately, I was forced to give the car up.
Ever since, I have recommended to anyone that would listen that getting an extended warranty on your car is an absolute must. I now drive a Lexus IS250 and the first thing I did after getting my car, was purchase an extended warranty. I had done extensive research and found the best deal with Delta Auto Protect. Buying an extended warranty is pretty scary I’ll tell you that! I can remember being offered one by my local dealership and being very weary of the product. Mostly due to bad reviews I read and it turning out to not great, and although people tend to exaggerate everything, they made great points! One being that the total cost of yearly coverage added to the prices of the small chance that something does happen are much larger than “just” getting something fixed. However, if you are using a used car, then you know that something “big” or “terrible” doesn’t need to happen to your car for it to just stop working. Your brakes could be shot at any moment!
So although I couldn't give in to buying one at the dealership, I did some research and got one instead from Delta, partially because their prices and coverage options were not so bad in my book. Also because my used car has endless problems that I’d rather only have to pay at half the price with complete and year round coverage!

I am not one with a lot of money on my hands so I never purchase my cars new and have purchased my most recent car three years ago and remember debating on pinching my money on stuff I found to be unnecessary as I always try to do. I remember considering purchasing an extended warranty from Delta and initially thought it to be a waste of money, but because I bought a 2003 car, I thought it could be handy. I was told I could cancel it when I wanted to. I figured I would go ahead and buy it. I work as a delivery driver so my car blows a lot of mileage and wear. There was an occasion I was able to use my extended warranty that ultimately saved me.
I know nothing about cars other than driving it so when my car randomly decided to shake uncontrollably then stop on me in the middle of the road and I panicked. I was on route to make a delivery and I was far away from where I lived. To make a long story short I was able to get home using my extended warranty for roadside assistance services. I was also provided a rental car to drive home while my car was towed away due to what I later learned to be a transmission issue. This was a repair that was covered in my plan and the terrible incident that would have costed me heavily barely cost me anything. I am so happy I decided to get it and I recommend the purchase to anyone.

I was recently leaving the grocery store and my car wouldn't start. I was completely panicked, but remember I had my extended warranty and decided to give Delta a call. They told me that all I had to do was get it towed to a nearby authorized shop or dealer and as long as it was a covered repair, I would only be responsible for a small portion. The process could not have been more seamless. My car was towed to a nearby dealership. I paid nothing out of pocket that day and left with a courtesy loaner vehicle. The dealership contacted me the next day to tell me what the issue was (a fuse in the engine harness) and that it would be repaired within 2 days. When I picked up my car I made my payment and drove away. I am so glad I decided to purchase it. This could have been a real headache without it.

When I purchased my car, the dealership tried to sell me an extended warranty. I couldn't commit there because I wasn't sure I was getting a good price, so I decided to do some research. I found Delta Auto Protect and was impressed by their plans. It's pretty much like health insurance for cars. My plan covers pretty much covers my car bumper to bumper, and even covers needs like towing or gas in emergency situations, no matter where you are. If you're like me, you'd rather spend your vacation cash on the actual vacation, and not on an unexpected car rental. Trust me, I've had my moment, and having an extended warranty is a lot less costly. If you have children, a spouse or a dog, you may want to invest a bit in this precautionary plan so you only have to worry about graduations, anniversaries, or a dog day afternoon, not how you will get there.

I can't say enough about how much of an awesome investment this extended warranty is, not to mention these guys. Whenever I've had an issue, it was always easy to get a hold of them. Whether it meant pushing my claim through faster or giving me recommendations on where I can get servicing for my vehicle in an unfamiliar area. I haven't had my warranty long, but so far it's been worth the money. This was the first, used truck I've bought and I figured it would have some problems as a start-up truck and it did. Whenever something would happen, I'd make sure to check back with my warranty to see if there was available coverage for it, and luckily, every repair I've had to do has been fully or partially covered. It's always a sigh of relief. I appreciate this company, and am excited to have my warranty. My car is running great :-).

I don't often write reviews but this is my way of thanking Delta Auto Protect for their incredible service. Early in 2016, I was searching for an extended warranty plan after having bought my first car, 2016 Honda Civic SI. Like many of you, I wanted peace of mind because "what if" something were to happen. After searching and comparing all the extended warranty companies I could find on Google, I easily narrowed it down to Delta Auto as my initial choice due to their plans, coverage, and reviews. I was a bit skeptical at first, but have found throughout these few years that they are truly on my side and extremely helpful to their customers.
They have saved me when I ran out of gas when I was driving north crossing many states to see my family for the winter holidays. I was faced with a transmission issue months later which they helped cover, PLUS gave me a rental car while it was being fixed. I seriously can't recommend a better service to those who want comfort knowing that they don't have to go through tough car situations alone. I recommended Delta Auto Protect to all my friends and family. Once again thank you very much for your amazing service and I am grateful to have made the right choice in choosing you.

I recently bought an extended warranty on my 2008 Honda Accord. I bought it used with over 132,000 miles on it and was a bit worried about how it would hold up. This is my first used car. In the past I always bought new cars because I wanted the sweet warranties from the manufacturer and dealer, but this time I decided to go with a used car so I wouldn't have a car payment. The extra money I saved allowed me to invest in a warranty.
I kept hearing my Dad's voice in my head saying, not to buy extra warranties, saying they were a waste of money. So, I did my own research. I decided to buy a warranty from Delta Auto Protect. You have to read the warranty to see what isn't covered. I made sure to double check with customer service about their coverage options as well, so I could be certain that I was opting into the right plan for me. I wanted to make sure if my transmission or motor needed to be repaired or replaced, it would be covered. I never know how much money I will earn month to month, so I can't afford big financial surprises. The plan I decided on seemed comprehensive enough. I pay a comfortable amount per year for my warranty. It makes sense to me. It gives me peace of mind, which means a lot to me. At least now when I hear a strange noise when I'm driving, I don't immediately have a panic attack.

I am so happy I purchased an extended warranty for my 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt. I already had insurance but was worried about small things happening with my car that the insurance wouldn't cover. Years went by without needing to use the warranty for anything when my ac goes out right at the beginning of summer. At first I took my car to a family friend mechanic who quoted my $400 (way too much for a college student). But luckily for me my extended warranty covered my AC repair. I was only responsible for a tiny portion, which was much, much more affordable than $400. I couldn't be happier to have avoided such a huge cost. I'm also very happy to have my AC up and running.

My extended warranty has definitely come handy when I needed to get some repairs done on my car. I've had a lot of small malfunctions in my car in the past year, and have found that I would much rather pay for the warranty instead of having to pay thousands for a repair. I was nervous that when I bought the warranty, I'd have to switch the garage I typically got my car looked at, but that wasn't the case. I was able to stick with my mechanic, which is a great perk. My mechanic is happy to deal with Delta warranties. He also raves that they're great to communicate with and they always file claims in a timely fashion. This has definitely saved me a hassle. The warranty was definitely worth it. I've been able to get both minor (my windshield wipers) and major (my transmission) fixes done on my car for a fraction of the cost.

Delta Auto Protect is a ripoff. My auto repair shop completed repairs on 05/02/2018 after obtaining authorization from Delta Auto. They are waiting on payment from Delta Auto protect for 1.5 month now. They were calling them every day for a month and each time were told that financial will call the shop in couple of days and pay with corporate credit card. After month of calling they called me and told they can't collect on approved case and that I have to pay to the body shop money that Delta Auto Protect owed them. As a favor I asked them for more time while I myself will try to collect from the company.
Since then I called Delta Auto on 06/06/2018 and 06/12/2018 and talked to Hector. Both times he called financials and told me that Margaret from financials will call body shop and submit a payment. Never happened. When I asked to talked with Margaret myself I was told that I cannot talk to her. 06/18/2018 called again and talked to Carla. Asked her to talk to the supervisor and she told me that supervisor is not available. Told her that I will complain with BBB, ConsumerAffairs, attorney general of Philadelphia and will file the lawsuit in small claim court. She told me that she put notice on file that Financials have to pay body shop and matter is urgent. Bottom line customer service give you the runaround with lied to me and auto repair company.

I purchased 2 warranty policies from this company in April/May of 2017. 1 Policy - (Diamond Premier) was for $1700 and the 2nd (Diamond Plus) was for $1200. What I thought was a great idea to have purchased turned into a HUGE mistake! At first the sales rep who helped me was very pleasant, his name was Shaun **, but of course he is. He sold me 2 policies. It wasn't until late November...maybe early December when I had to use one of the policies, I had my jeep towed to the local dealership, who advised that I need to have my starter and some wiring thermostat replaced. Sounds easy right. Well they said the dealership was charging too much for the replacement parts so I said fine it was only about a $30.00 difference and I would pay the difference. No biggie. So the Dealership had my car ready in about 2 days. I picked up my car, paid the difference and went on without any worries.
Well it wasn't until the service manager at the dealership started calling me about a week later because Delta Auto never paid them the bill. After hours and hours on hold and many calls they finally made a partial payment on the bill that was due to the dealership. Why they didn't pay the bill in full I have no idea because it wasn't like there was some huge bill, it was less than $700.00. It took them almost 2 months to pay the bill in full, not to mention several calls from the dealership as well as myself to resolve it. In fact the Dealership was so upset with the least of professionalism. They told me that they will never work with Delta for warranty again so if I needed my car worked on it would have to come out of my pocket. Either way... It was settled. Yes, after many many calls of me complaining and at one point this whole situation had me in tears.
So now fast forward to about 3 weeks almost a month ago, I took my car in for an oil change and my mechanic said that I need my radiator replaced. Perfect, no worries right. A radiator is under warranty. So I called in to Delta to file a claim... Yes, almost an hour on hold, the girl that answered asked if she could take a message as she is only helping with overflow calls. I said No problem, left a message, waited several days to no surprise, I had to call again and wait another 45 minutes. This a normal wait time that I have endured EVERY time I call.
I finally get through to someone. His name is Aaron ** (The same man that helped me resolve the dealership dispute months ago), as he and I start speaking, he tells me that I did not have an active policy and that I called in to cancel it in January. News to me?? I never did. He then proceeds to tell me that he will need to review this with management and that he would call me back in 24-48 hours. He never called. So I call again, wait for 45 minutes if not longer and he gets on the phone to apologize for not calling back but he was very busy. I still am disputing the fact that I did not cancel the policy, if fact if I did, where's the cancellation notice that I should have signed?? They don't have one because I didn't cancel.
Aaron then proceeds to tell me that he needs to speak with the IT department to review my conversation where I canceled the policy and he would call me back in 24-48 hours. LIES, LIES and more LIES!! He never called me back, so today I called again to speak to a man by the name of Hector (funny thing is I am almost 99.9% positive it was Aaron **).
Anyways, Hector will not transfer me to Aaron and then proceeds to pretty much tell me I am a Liar, that I can canceled the policy and that I refused to sign the cancellation agreement back in January. Does this even make sense?? And that I have a check in route that was issued on June 13th 2018. He then tries to give me a tracking number of the check, but while I am on the phone l try to track the envelope and there is no tracking. The label was created but it had no additional information. Who knows if it is even mine? At this point I absolutely LOSE IT! I told them they are scammers and frauds and this was not right in any way shape or form! I wish I would have researched warranty companies before going with Delta. It has been nothing but a waste of time and a HUGE waste of money!

I actually caught Delta when they had a flash deal and I can't believe the coverage I'm getting for the price. With my auto insurance at an all-time high for drivers like me, it's nice to have a company that gives me a little bit of a cushion for things my insurance doesn't cover. Peace of mind can come in many forms. Mine comes in the form of an extended warranty on my beloved truck. It has offered me defense against avoiding a crisis in my budget and avoiding inconvenience. Additionally, it has made it much easier for me to prevent bigger malfunctions in my car later on because I'm able to fix the little things immediately. For example, once I noticed that my transmission was giving trouble, I was able to go to a local garage right away and have someone repair it immediately, before I needed to even think about replacing it. This cost was covered by my warranty.
When my steering wheel was loose, I was able to get it fixed right away. In another instance, I found myself out of gas at 5 AM on a rainy morning. There was no gas station in site. Luckily, I was able to have someone dispatched locally to fill up my truck, and I was on my way. This service too was covered by my warranty. When used as a tool of prevention, an extended warranty can make the “We’ve got to get this fixed” part much easier to deal with.

As a shop we expected our experience to be average as with most extended warranties. This place however, is pathetic. I've called them over 19 times in the last 2.5 WEEKS! We're still trying to get payment from these fools regarding repairs for a client vehicle. Had we known they were a shady company we'd have made our client pay his bill IN FULL and make him deal with the idiots he bought from. I've never had such a bad experience. I've called and had to leave messages with a "receptionist" on several occasions only to never be called back. Keep calling, and they change the rules. I had been given 3 different fax numbers over the course of these 2.5 weeks, and yet none of them were "allegedly" received, (I sent for CarMax payment last night and got my credit card authorization this morning if that tells you anything on how most normal extended warranties operate).
Then I was given an email to send for payment, so I did, 48 hours later, no payment. Then I call 3x trying to speak to a manager. The manager was a little snot on the phone to me. I'm already pissed, so deescalation is clearly not in his training. He should get some if he's going to work for a shady place like this. So manager tells me they must not have received the email since I didn't put the last 6 of the vin in the subject line. No, I put the auth #, because nobody told me to put the last 6 of the vin in the subject line when they gave me the email.
So I did, and here we are 48 hours later, I call because I still haven't got any payment or communication from them. I get someone who said, "Well yes I see you spoke with my manager, and let me get you over to the payments department." I get transferred to a FRIGGIN' VOICEMAIL!?!? No. I left them a scathing message because I shouldn't have to work this hard to get money out of a company who said they'll pay X amount of the repairs. I let them know on this message I planned on reviewing them here on Consumer Affairs. People need to know how awful this place is.
If you're a shop and your customer has this crap company for their warranty I HIGHLY suggest you either turn them out, or get the total bill paid in full from the client, and force this nightmare of getting payment on them (the client). I don't have time to be chasing down these scammers for money. My claim was submitted on May 29th, started requesting payment on May 31st. It's now June 15th. No payment, countless messages, calls, un-returned calls, emails, faxes, and utter frustration. Run. Find a different warranty company if you're looking to buy. If you're a shop, use extreme caution. As a repair shop won't be honoring this warranty in the future. It's not worth the hassles.

Helped saved me from having to pay for a new transmission. My original warranty expired due to me being over the mileage. As it was expiring, I decided to add the extended warranty which went into right when my car reached its thousandth mile. My car literally rode until the thousandth mile and got to a point where it wouldn't run over 60 mph before it completely stopped running. Repairing my transmission would've cost me thousands. With this warranty, it was covered, and I was responsible only for a small deductible! Had I continued to try to drive on it, I would've definitely needed a new warranty.

I followed the tow truck to the dealership with my Delta Auto Protect plan in hand to help expedite my claim once they finished their estimate.
The estimate was completed Monday and filed by the dealership directly to Delta Auto... It's finally Thursday and guess what... nothing is covered. The transmission is the issue, Delta denied the entire claim despite the policy. Policy states Diamond Premier Coverage (2) Transmission, etc. Dealership told them what was wrong... As a person who drives an hour and a half to work every week, wear and tear on my truck is a big factor when it comes to my driving. I'm glad I found an extended warranty plan that considers that. Also, if my truck were to break down, I know that it has me covered. Also, if my rental were to break down, I know that it has me covered as well. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Prior to actually purchasing a used 2015 Cadillac I started shopping around with different extended service companies and found Delta Auto Protect to be by far the best bang for the money spent, for a 5 year/100,000 mile policy. Now prior to purchasing the policy I had read some of the neg comments posted (very subjective) and people need to understand that regardless of the company that has the coverage on your car, there's always going to be items that are not covered along with the use of specific parts etc, which is normal with any type of coverage.
Long story short, after reviewing all my options respective of coverage vs price I contacted Delta Auto sales and purchased the policy with the intent to send Delta Auto the car information once the purchase was finalized. However, my circumstances changed with the car and I did not need an extended policy and decided that my best option was to just cancel my policy. After several phone calls to Delta Auto Protect and everyone that I spoke with was very pleasant and cordial, I was directed to Aaron Lynch, who without question, was sorry to have me leave, but understood my situation and refunded my payment. In the future when and if I ever finalize on a vehicle, Delta Auto Protect will be my choice and although my experience was short, it was positive.

Fact- My Cadillac has been at the dealer since June 5. Today is June 11. My car is not fixed for the covered parts. I have the Diamond Premier Plan. The most coverage for my Cadillac. Item one is the AC motor. Today it was just under review. Why does a covered part need to be under review? This part was finally approved today. But we are not getting the Cadillac part. (My car is still at the dealer) Delta is shipping an after marker AC motor to the dealership. My window motor is another covered item. Cadillac states that this is a pre-existing condition. How is that even possible?
I have made about 6 phone calls today to Delta. I have been transferred without my permission, and put on hold for almost 2 hours. My service adviser Craig tells me that he has been placed on hold for over 1 hour. They did not call him back last week as they stated they would. Extended Warranty, who needs it, right? Wrong. It may seem unnecessary now, but it will keep a minor incident from turning into a disaster. You have insurance to protect you in case of a car wreck, but how often are you in a car wreck? Cars break down all the time, no matter the make, model or maintenance, even my well-kept Jeep. Things happen and people make mistakes, fluid runs low, engines run hot, hoses bust, batteries die, etc. Don't make the mistake of skipping out on extended warranty. You may think you'll regret paying a little bit more up front, but I guarantee you that you'll regret not having it when you're like me, stuck on the side of the road with a blown head gasket! Glad I made the purchase.

I saw recent BBB and YELP reviews online about Delta Auto Protect not answering calls or paying claims and wondered if that was true in light of the fact that I was planning on putting my car in the shop for what would be covered expenses under my warranty. It's unfortunately that I can now verify that the negative experiences documented on the negative review below are in fact true. This company only seems intent on scamming their customers. Stay far, far away from them if you are looking for a car warranty unless you consider throwing money into the trash can a productive use of your money.
While my past experience (purchased my warranty in 2015) with them was painfully tenuous at best, I had not experienced any of what these negative reviews spoke of until this past month (May 2018). If you are considering doing business with this company, save your time, money, and energy and look elsewhere for a more reputable company.
Problem: During the week of 5-14-18, I placed a call to Delta Auto Protect to inquire about coverage for work on my car that I was planning to take to the shop for repair. When I called, I could not reach Aaron **, Ryan **, Jesse ** or any of the managers or representatives I've dealt with in the past. Instead I got what appeared to be an answering service. The lady took my information down and told me someone would call me back. However, no one actually ever called me back. I took my car to the shop for repair on Monday 5-21-18. While my car was at the shop, they contacted Delta Auto Protect to discuss covered claims with them for four control arms for my tires and a seat belt retractor that needed to be replaced. Due to the amount of the repair (approximately $2,500), Delta Auto Protect would normally send an inspector out to the repair facility to approve the repair work.
When my service facility called Delta Auto Protect, much like my call the week before, they were told they would someone would call them back. Service requests are normally handled same day or the next day at the latest based on my prior experience with this warranty company. However, it has now been 3 weeks since I called and 2 weeks since my repair facility called and no one has returned my call or my repair facility calls for service work authorization.
Not only have they not returned any calls, but on Wednesday 5-30-18 when I called again and asked to speak to someone in management concerning my service request, the same lady who took a message was rude to me and said someone would call me back and then hung up the phone on me. I paid almost $4,000 for this 5 year warranty in 2015 and now I can't seem to get Delta Auto to fulfill it's service responsibilities on my warranty contract. Based on complaints at this BBB site and other consumer complaint sites online, this seems to be the prevailing experience of others with Delta Auto Protect. Desired Resolution: I would like a Refund. Desired Outcome: I would like my repair work authorized and paid for by Delta Auto Protect. Otherwise, they should refund the $3,800 I paid for my Diamond Premier Warranty I purchased from them.

I am writing this in response to the resolution that I had achieved with this company. I finally got a call back after much effort, multiple faxes and calls by a supervisor with authority to pay my claim by corporate credit card, like most other extended warranty companies do usually the same day or the next. I must say it was an experience I would not want to repeat in the future. I will give this company another chance because everyone must strive for quality everyday and try to improve in whatever needs to be improved upon. The representative that contacted me was very professional and courteous. The way you would expect it to be when you call in to a company such as this. I am satisfied with the outcome and will hope to experience that same satisfaction the next time.

I am a dealership level service writer with over 20 years of experience with several different manufacturers that has dealt with many different extended warranty companies and this company is unbelievable! I wish that I had done my research before purchasing a contract with this company for my used vehicle I purchased that was out of factory warranty.
Being an experienced auto service person, I know that you need to have protection for your used vehicle. What I did not realize is how hard it would be to first get a repair approved then get paid for the authorized repair. I can quote most, if not all of the negative reviews as I am now experiencing first hand how difficult it is to deal with this company. I, unlike most of the others, have been trying to get payment on my claim for only (2) weeks now. Praying that it will not take months or years to receive payment. I fear that I will end up paying out of pocket for this minimal repair and cancelling out of this contract before anything MAJOR happens with my vehicle.
I cannot understand how this company can continue the way they do. I am convinced all the positive reviews are bogus! Something needs to be done. I guess, Pennsylvania doesn't have a better business bureau to report them to. Hopefully you have some influence on them to effect change there. Or put them out of business so they can't scam anyone else!

My extended warranty was a lifesaver when my manufacturer's warranty expired. My Volvo started leaking fluid excessively whenever I used power steering. I was freaked out because I had never had issues with my car before and I know how expensive repairs can be just from hearing about it from friends and family. Luckily, despite the fact that my car was old, my warranty still provided extensive coverage for my Volvo repairs. My claim was responded to quickly, and I was able to get my car back within a day. I expected nothing less than stellar customer service from this company after the many great experiences I had with them. My inquiry process was seamless; the buying process was easy, and they are always, always accessible. No waiting on hold for 10 minutes or being rushed off the phone by impatient reps!

I left my car there and they contacted Delta on Monday only to not get a reply. I needed my car for work on Tuesday so I had them fix the car and I paid for it with Ford saying they would reimburse me whatever Delta paid them. Delta got back to them finally on Tuesday April 17 and they would only pay a little over 200 of the 1000 I paid. Well it is now May 31 and they still have not paid Ford. I have called 8 times in the last past three weeks and they have not returned any of my calls. I can only call and leave a message with a receptionist. Finally last night someone said they would put me through to finance to find out what was going on. I held for three hours only to be cut off at 7:03 pm. I still have not received a call.

One thing is a fact, anyone with a car should have an extended warranty if you plan to keep your car for a while and you drive it as often as I do. I decided to make an investment in my vehicle and luckily, this investment has been saving me a bunch of money since I've gotten it. I've gotten repairs on my passenger seat window, my windshield wipers and a major repair on my transmission (yikes). After getting quoted for the outright cost of these services, I was surprised at how much my extended warranty actually covered. It has been well worth it. Additionally, the reps at this company have been great in making sure that claims are addressed quickly. I've never had a problem with my claims sitting in limbo for weeks, or even getting in touch with them. Great buy.

My experience purchasing the extended auto warranty from Delta Auto Protect has been an absolute delight. After doing extensive online research, in hopes of determining the best for myself, I went with Delta and haven't regretted my decision in choosing them since. Customer service being one of the best aspects. I've had the warranty through Delta for close to a year and in that time it has saved me over $2,000. On a family vacation, while in route, our car started overheating. The vacation would have been a wrap without my extended auto warranty. Not only did the tow cost me pennies on the dollar, our rental car my family and I now needed, was covered. I'm happy to say not only did we enjoy our vacation but returning home to learn that our car had been completely repaired while saving me almost so much money was just phenomenal. I will never go without having my Delta extended auto warranty ever again.

I found that Delta Auto Protect provided me with a much more reasonable option for my extended warranty than the car dealership. I almost purchased outright when I bought my Ford but decided to do some outside research. I am happy I did because I got a much better deal on my extended warranty from Delta. I spoke directly with a customer service rep who went through the range of coverage options and then provided me with a free quote. He reassured me that they were also running a flash sale that same day, but did not pressure me to buy it immediately. I chose the lower tier plan because I had JUST purchased my car and did not anticipate having to do many extensive repairs, but sorry to say, my Ford has been giving me a ton of issues. I've since upgraded my plan. It feels good to have a dependable extended auto warranty that helps offset the cost of these costly repairs.

I made the stupid mistake of paying them the money for buying the policy, however within a week I came across multiple people having trouble getting payment from them. I decided to get a full refund back. I have been emailing and calling them multiple times but I haven't received my money back. All the 5 star reviews seem fake and sound more like advertising rather than honest reviews. I have email records of submitting request to cancel and refund policy and am considering legal action. I have seen that many people had to go through same harassment to get money back. If anyone has any legal advice please share. Don't do business with them. A broken car is going to be less traumatic than dealing with them.

Although my new FIAT came with a manufacturer’s warranty, I decided to buy an extended warranty as a precaution, after having seen many of my family members do it. For me, I wanted to make sure I could cover costs of repairs that were not going to be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, or repairs that were necessary after it expired. I did a lot of research before deciding to purchase. I spoke with about 5 different company reps over the phone. I did not want to rely on information online. Delta Auto Protect was the first company I called. The rep I spoke with gave me a lot of clarity in understanding how extended warranties work. She listened to my concerns and was very interested in helping me address them. I wanted to be a responsible consumer, so I did not purchase right then and there, but after speaking to a few more companies, I decided to purchase from Delta.
Although their extended warranty does cover fire, flood, or car crashes, I thought it was the best bet because it was the most comprehensive in covering things like wear & tear, electrical and mechanical issues. Additionally, I was happy to have a service that would provide me with assistance in locksmith emergencies because I am notorious for locking my keys in my car. I have been a Delta Customer for close to a year, and I haven't had to do any repairs yet, but I was grateful that I was able to cover the price of a locksmith when I did lock my keys in the car the other day. I decided to come leave a review because I was really impressed with how quickly my claim was handled. Thank you.

I don't know what I would've done without it. I probably would've had to have called my Dad, and he would've been in a panic.
On top of it all, Delta has such great customer service. Their customer service representative that I spoke to that day was extremely understanding. After driving over 100,000 miles your car will need a repair or two. Maintenance can be expensive if your car is not under warranty. For example to repair/replace a transmission, you're looking at minimum $1,000 plus labor. So you could end up paying $4,000 easily. An extended warranty is an easy way to circumvent that ridiculous bill.
I purchased one from Delta Auto Protect. They had a simple quote process that takes less than 15 minutes. This can be done online. After I made a submission, I decided to follow up by phone because I had a few questions. The representative I spoke to was very thorough and knowledgeable about vehicles. He asked about the specifics of my vehicle like VIN, year, model, make etc. Then asked me what kind of coverage I was looking for. I appreciated that method of questioning rather than him just telling me Delta had exactly what I needed. But, luckily, they did! I was able to select a plan that covered everything from engine and transmission work to car rentals and lockout services. And the prices were great! Happy Customer!

We have always purchased the extended warranty for our vehicles. My current vehicle is now covered by the extended warranty from Delta Auto Protect. I can take my car back to where I bought it for repair or there are a number of shops to choose from. In March, my car started acting up. I have never had a problem before, but it was shaking when I drove. I did not want to drive it too far, so I called Delta, and asked them about my options. They suggested I get a tow (which was covered), and additionally, schedule to have a rental car reserved (which was also covered)! I had my vehicle towed, and was able to schedule a rental that picked me up at the location. It seemed like there was a problem with the drive train that was bigger than an alignment could fix.
Needless to say, three days later, I had my car back. Delta's claims department coordinated with the shop to have everything processed. I was only responsible for a $100 deductible. Check out was quick and I was on my way. I experienced no problem with Delta. My car is back in business and the warranty saved me a bunch of money. I am so glad that I got the extended warranty with Delta Auto.

Runaround and blatant lies. Do not give them your money. I purchased a third-party extended warranty from Delta Auto Protect. Recently I created a claim due to a loud high-pitched noise my engine began making. I took my car to a garage meeting Delta's requirements, and the garage determined that the noise was caused by my alternator belt tensioner, tensioner pulley, and idler pulley, which had been damaged by a major oil leak caused by a failure of the oil filter housing profile gasket.
Delta told the garage that they would cover the cost of the gasket, but that the other parts do not fall into the category of "Covered Parts" in my contract. I reviewed my contract, which states: "WE will arrange for the repair or replacement of COVERED PARTS, and any component damaged by a COVERED PARTS." I contacted Delta brought the last half of that sentence to their attention and was faced with a barrage of shifting excuses for why the parts weren't covered. This all took place over at least a dozen calls where I had to leave a message with a promise of a callback which never took place. I had to call over and over and over and insist upon speaking to someone about the issue.
When I pointed out that the garage had determined that the parts had been damaged by the covered part, Delta claimed that the oil filter housing gasket was not a covered part, and that they had agreed to cover it only as a gesture of goodwill. So I pointed them to the provision of the contract that explicitly covered the gasket. I was told that it would be reviewed and someone would call me back.
Many calls later, when I finally was connected with someone, I was told that Delta had reviewed a recording of the call from the garage, and the garage had made no connection between the oil leak and the failed alternator components. I know that this isn't true for multiple reasons. 1- I have the garage's write-up on the diagnosis which explicitly states the cause of failure as the parts being "contaminated with engine oil". 2- Before taking your car to a mechanic, you are required to first make a claim with Delta. Issues found that are unrelated to the claim are not covered.
3- I asked for a copy of this supposed audio recording, at which point the floor manager to whom I had been escalated said, "I don't actually have an audio recording, but I don't need one because I'm the one who took the call from the garage." I asked why. He said that he had reviewed an audio recording and he said, "I meant that I have notes from my call with them." I asked why a floor manager would have taken a standard call from a garage and he said, "That's just how things work here." He refused to escalate the call to his supervisor. This is one of the worst experiences dealing with a company that I have ever had in my entire life. Delta is a horrible, dishonest company. I recommend not giving them your money.

I was also able to have a portion of my repair claim covered for the electrical issues and the starter. I've also used my extended warranty for repairs on my air conditioner. Obviously, this was a good investment for me, someone who has had a lot of car issues in the past. I'm glad I made the purchase.

My warranty from Delta worked as intended. I had a bad breakdown well into ownership of my Accord, which turned out to be a fried transmission more or less. After going through the warranty, the repair was completely covered and only had to pay a small deductible - which was nothing in comparison to the work that was done and what was being replaced/fixed. A+!

Simply put, extended auto warranties are worth the money. I was a little concerned about the overall price of the policy at the time of purchase but after extended research, I found that Delta was offering me a great deal. For an investment as valuable as a new car you don’t want to be on the receiving end of costly repairs. I am glad I decided to purchase mine. I quickly recognized that although I had a manufacturer's warranty, it didn't cover a lot of the repairs I was actually looking for. I was able to have someone come out and bring me fuel on the road, and that service was covered by my extended warranty. I have even been able to have electrical repairs done to my car with my extended warranty.

Although new vehicles come with a standard manufacturer's warranty, they almost always expire before you need to get work done. Because I decided to keep my vehicle, rather than trade it in, I thought it would be a smart investment to purchase an extended warranty. I chose Delta Auto Warranty based on the recommendation of a colleague of mine, and they gave me a great deal. I was impressed by the wide range of repairs and services are covered on normal wear and tear, engines, transmissions, and brakes, and especially impressed by the *bonus* services it covered, like towing and locksmith needs. This is a great investment for every car owner, at any point of ownership.49

We had bought a new-used car a few years ago and my wife convinced me a after having the car for a while to get the extended warranty. She did extensive research and found Delta Auto Protect. I'm sure glad she did. Just a few weeks ago it started getting a little warm outside and I noticed the car's A.C. wasn't pumping out any cold air. I took the car to a local shop to find out what was wrong. It turns out the car's air conditioner compressor had gone out and needed to be replaced. I was a little upset about this but remembered we had purchased the extended warranty for the car and our plan did cover repairs like air condition units. This really did turn my mood around because this kind of repair would of cost a pretty penny and I wasn't ready to be shelling out that kind of cash for repairs on a car I just purchased. I was able to have my A.C. repaired just in time for the hottest day of the year.

I was glad I found Delta Auto Protect during my search for an auto warranty because a lot of companies I had spoken to prior were trying to sell me products that did not fit my needs. They were expensive, and did not cover all the repairs I was hoping for. When I spoke with Delta, however, the rep went through all of the details of the policy with me, even the fine print. I've always had trouble with my vehicles, and have spent thousands and thousands of dollars trying to upkeep them. So when I finally purchased another car back in January, I made sure to research ways to cut down costs of repairs. I stumbled upon the Delta Auto Protect website and began reading about extended warranties. I had no idea they existed and covered so many mechanical issues on new AND used vehicles. It seemed too good to be true. I decided to call them up and was greeted by the most personable agent I've ever had the privilege of talking to. She walked me through the policy offerings and really put things into perspective for me. She did not pressure me at all about making a decision right away, but told me that if I was consistently worried about the reliability of my car, then it may be a good idea to invest in an extended warranty. She reassured me that the final choice is mine.
I was still in shock by how many things the warranty covered. I decided to consult my friend before making the purchase and to my surprise, my friend was already a Delta Auto customer. He recommended them highly. I did decide to purchase the warranty and have used it many times since. I've used my warranty to cover repairs on my brakes, windshield wipers and my all-wheel drive. I've even had some cosmetic work done to my car. The majority of my repairs have been FULLY covered by my policy, and the claims process has never been difficult. Although my friend didn't tell me about Delta Auto Protect until I asked, I've been telling all of my friends and family about it. Everyone deserves some peace of mind.

Delta Auto Protect promised me that they issue corporate credit card for the payments directly to the shop and they did for my first claim. But when it came to my 2nd claim, they promised to offer credit card to the shop at the time of approval but they send the cheque instead. My car was in the shop for almost 3 weeks waited for the cheque but it never received and I ended up paying out of my pocket to get my car. Then I had to go through the claim reimbursement. It took more than 3 months for me to get the claim reimbursed after spending more than 40+ hours over the phone with their reps. There is a 2 day car rental they approved, which they said send it in the same envelope and till today I can see that they never issued a check. So, if you wish to go through all these pain with the claim reimbursement, then go for Delta, else don't go for it.
Their reps were also very rude in sharing the information and they won't provide answers to the questions & disconnect or re-direct your call to wrong entity. They will make you hold for hours and ultimately you will end up in disconnecting. They will be nice for the first time for sure but they will make you ran around once your claims passed what you paid so that you end the contract with them. They get the receipts that we send through emails but they will not respond to your emails nor provide anything in writing.
Another best part is, they send the parts to the shop which will delay the repair and they don't approve rental car for those delays. They say, they look at the repaid time for providing the rental car not the time in which your car is in the shop for the repair & to get paid. Another worst reimbursement is their roadside hazard and they don't reimburse either after approving the cIaim to get the tires replaced. Their technical team looks at tire images and decide not to reimburse even if there is air leakage from inside. I won't recommend Delta for any new customers.

I actually barely listened when the salesman was pitching it to me but remember that my dad told me to make sure I got it.
So, I called the Delta Auto and they told me to have my car towed to the nearest mechanic and it would be covered. After the mechanic assessed everything and told me the bill, I just about fainted because I didn't have that kind of extra money. It was the transmission! I don't know much about them but I do know that "transmission" is usually the word of death for repairs! I was supposed to make my final payment on my wedding gown in two weeks, not pay for a transmission. The mechanic told me that most of what he mentioned should be covered in my warranty and to call to check. I didn't think he knew what he was talking about and was expecting the associate I called to refuse but I was the one who was wrong.
Since I had been taking care of the car and it wasn't a manufacturers warranty issue, the repairs were covered in full. My friends picked me up and I worked out the details with the dealership as well as the claim's department. By the end of my vacation, I had a small deductible payment but it was worth it in comparison to what I would have paid. That was a close call!
