    BUYER BEWARE – This company is a complete rip off. I purchased the Diamond Premier Warranty ESP # ** on 6/30/18. My truck Broke down on 9/1/18. On 9/11/18 Delta Auto Protect authorized $1765.00 for repairs. On 9/25/18 I paid $2017.82 for the repairs and was told by Delta Auto Protect to email my receipts and they would send a check for $1765.00. Verified all information was received and payment authorized but still have not been paid. I have contacted Delta Auto Protect over and over again with no resolve. I’ve was told a check was sent 5 different times by 5 different individuals. As of 4/16/19 I have still not received payment. I’ve upheld my contractual responsibilities but it’s becoming evident that Delta Auto Protect has no intention of fulfilling their contractual obligation.

    These guys had my back when my car almost caught fire because of a clogged break-line which blocked the brakes on the right hand rear wheel while I was driving. I only paid a small deductible and they picked it up and took it away. I got my car back three days later all fixed.

    I have 3 kids and work two jobs as a single mother. There is no way in the world I can be without my car in case it breaks down. I just had to write this and thank the people at Delta Auto Protect, especially Aaron, for helping me out with my car when it stopped dead in traffic as I was coming back from work and on my way to pick my oldest son from high-school. I stopped at the light and the engine died and would not come back on. They sent a truck and had the car picked up and sent to the dealer. They gave me a rental and had my car back up and running the next day and they took care of the payments to the repair shop directly. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

    I found this company to be satisfying when it comes to value for money spent. They have a very specific way of filing claims and as long as you understand that paperwork needs to exist if you're using a repair shop with which they do not have a pre-agreement, everything is just fine. They have nice people on the line!

    I'd recommend using them. They did the job for me when my car broke down. There's a claims line you call and report the issue, then they tell you what you have to do and provide from the repair shop. They even guide you to recommended shops but you can also go to your preferred one, they give you a set of documents that you need to provide. My car was fixed quickly and I only paid a fraction of the cost.

    Both our cars are covered with the DIAMOND PLAN. Me and my wife are very pleased with the service and coverage provided. We even got my brother-in-law to sign a protection plan and received 10 free car washes from Delta as a bonus.

    Delta Auto Protect is the one extended car warranty service you should have. I am currently under their Diamond warranty. The reps are great and they make sure they get to the problem of your car. I had an issue with my car brakes and I called with my warranty for a claim. They were able to fix my brake linings and installed genuine car parts. I highly recommend!

    I was on the market for an auto extended warranty and I reached out to Delta Auto Protect, along with a couple of other companies. The nice lady that called back from Delta thoroughly explained what the pluses of signing an insurance with them would be, making it very clear that there are multiple companies on the market, stressing out where their stands out by offering discounted premiums and extended coverage. She also made sure I understand the limitations of the policy and the terms of it. It was a very pleasant conversation, which made me decide to go with them. I feel much safer knowing I have a backup for my car in case something goes wrong. Thank you Mary for your patience and for explaining everything out to me! Had my first claim yesterday, washer fluid pump broke down and everything went smooth.

    I had a blown tire on the express, on my way to work. Called it in with Delta, they sent a truck and had it replaced on the spot. They took care of everything. I was just late to work, instead of missing the whole day and maybe getting fired.

    They promise you the world. I had a question about the contract after I paid in full. I emailed the rep that set it up. He never responded back. Called to ask a question from someone about the contract and was put on hold many times and no one answered the call. After 2 days of this nonsense I went to their new quote section and they answered immediately. I told that person I had a question. I was put on hold again for 40 min. I finally, after relentless calls, told a person I wanted my contract canceled. And to refund my credit card immediately. It’s been two weeks and it hasn’t been done yet. I called my credit card co. and contested the transaction. AVOID DELTA AUTO PROTECT. They are ROTTEN!!!

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. You're better of throwing your money out the window. I bought what I thought was "TOP of the LINE" protection from Delta Auto. I paid my 5 years in full when I got it. They sold me the stars and the moon and above, they promised that everything was covered beside wear and tear, but once I took my truck in for work, "NOPE, THAT'S NOT COVERED". They only covered a part that cost less than $400.00. I called to argue my rights and I got some lady on the phone very uneducated and brushing of the phone. I will give Delta Auto a bad review in every single site I can possibly get my hands on. I only gave it a 1 star because I can't go any lower than that.

    Update: My Truck has been in the Cadillac dealer for the past 7 days and Delta Auto has yet to release payment so that I can get my truck back. I've called and so has Cadillac dealer numerous of times and we've been on hold for over 45 minutes to then get an answering machine. I finally got a hold of Aaron at Delta Auto and for third time I got told that a payment will be release in 48 hours AND IT'S BEEN 7 DAYS...

    Delta Protect policy esp ** was cancelled on January 9th. I have bought a new car and do not need this policy. I was promised a refund of 1000.00 no longer than 60 days, it has now been 90 days. I have written a letter, called many times, no one has ever returned my call. Customer Service with this company is not good. In fact it stinks.

    This company was horrible to get in contact with. And they also were negligent in contract execution and as well as explaining coverage. They sold it as after thirty days all will be good. We were given an extension ** that went into a loop after 30 min to voicemail. Horrible! I rather just pay out of pocket than to deal with the amount of stress this company causes. Please look at all reviews!! We are not the only victims!!

    Purchased an extended Service Plan (Warranty) from this company, this was their top of the line package which included a $0 deductible. Two months ago I had an $800+ Failure, after nickle and diming me on what was covered down to $289 they have not paid what was promised to the repair facility. I now just had to pay that portion of the bill so I would not be sent to collection. Both the repair shop and myself contacted them on several occasions. They even said that the check was being processed and would be sent out. But still nothing. Now I have sat on the phone on hold for over a half hour on three occasions with no answer. Do not waste your time or your money with this company.

    I am an BMW repair center and started a claim for a customer which they authorized for 1358.60. When work was completed I sent invoice complete with auth # and claim number on Jan 31, 2019 for payment.. It's now April 4, 2019. Spoke with everyone poss for payment. They claim to have sent checks 4 different time every 2 weeks. Still no payment. I performed everything I was supposed to do and complied with their payment procedures and still they will not pay me. I also wanted to add that good luck speaking to anyone who does not flat out lie to you. Ohhh. Leave a message? You will never hear back.. Just want to get paid for my parts and labor.

    I have been told that an unnamed inspector went to see my car at the repair shop 3 days ago and Delta said they do not have his report so they cannot approve my repair. Claim was started on 3/29, car has sat at shop for a week without any work being done. I asked to call the inspector and they refused to give me info. Have spent hours on the phone, left messages that are NEVER returned. Sent emails that go unanswered. Service absolutely is the WORST EVER.

    DO NOT SEND MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE, DO NOT SEND MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE. You will regret it. My wife and I were trying to get extended coverage for our 2016 Mazda 3 with 81000 thousands miles. Delta quoted us a price of $2700 for five years or 100000 miles. They were asking for the full amount up front and the BUM I was speaking to asked me to hold for a moment so he could talk to his boss after I asked him about other payment options. When he returned he stated that I could make an initial payment of $150.00 to get it started and after 30 days the coverage would began, during our conversation I mentioned that the car would be driven on a rideshare platform and if that would be an issue. The BUM said no. It's not a problem. So with that my wife and I made the initial payment and E-signed and agreed to all the terms of the contract.

    After reviewing the contract more thoroughly and finding that the contract stated that it EXCLUDED rideshare and any vehicles used for commercial purposes I immediately contacted Delta and informed them of my findings and asked for a refund, I also mentioned that I was lied to by one of their salespersons since they do not cover rideshare, before I could get a refund I needed to opt out of the contract and sign, and the refund would be issued in 60 days back to my bank acct, after a Month passes and I thought about it some more, why should I have to wait that long to get my money since it was obtained by deception (lies) so I decided to call Delta to find out if they were going to keep my money the entire 60 days.

    What I found out was they really have no intention on refunding my money and that conclusion is based on the fact that after finally getting someone on the phone (the only way someone will answer the phone quickly is if you press 1. That's to start a new contract and/or get a quote and more victims). I did mention that the call was being recorded. He says "hold on" and I waited for 15 minutes before I hung up, so I call back (remember you have to press 1) and when this BUM answered I told him I wanted to speak to someone about my refund. Again he say "hold on" and I wait 20 minutes...so I hang up and call them again but this time I pretend like I want quote for my 2017 Ford Fusion.

    The guy, I mean BUM asked me how many miles were on it. I said 68000 and mentioned that I drive the vehicle on a rideshare platform and if that was a problem, he stated NO. That's not a problem and began to quote a price of 2700 for five years or 100000 miles (all of which I have recorded). I know that there are other victims... Oh and as soon as I informed the BUM that I had recorded this conversation as well as the previous attempted communications including all the documents that were signed for my refund. CONSUMERS BEWARE of DELTA.

    I had never used my extended warranty with Delta up until last week when the transmission on my 2010 Dodge Durango suddenly died while I was driving home from work. It just made these horrible sounds and then stopped. I called my wife to let her know I'll be late and to ask for a tow-truck number. She reminded me we have insurance from Delta so instead gave me that number.

    I must say, it took 10-15 minutes to be able to get to them, which had me sweating a bit, as the car stopped almost in the middle of the road, but they were super fast in sending a tow-truck to get me out of the way and to the nearest repair shop. They also offered a rental, but I had my wife pick me up with our other car. Yesterday I was called to come and pick my repaired car up. I have to pay $75 dollars to Delta, but really, that's nothing compared to what it would have meant to get it repaired by myself. I'd say that overall that was a positive experience.

    DAP had the best extended warranty out there. Small deductibles, fast claims response, friendly sales and reps, roadside assistance, replacement rental car for down-times, towing service. And their warranty covers, depending on the package you select, almost everything on your car. I would definitely recommend Delta!

    My car was in the Holmes Jaguar repair shop for over 5 days. It was virtually impossible to reach anyone. After I finally picked up the car, the Service Advisor Mary ** finally got in touch with Marie **. Marie explained that Delta would pay $275 for the motor that lets up my passenger window when the cost is $550. I don't understand why Delta is not paying the full cost. Additionally, Delta wants me to pay for the cost of the motor and they pay me back after submitting a receipt. I was told when purchased the warranty that Delta would give the repair shop a credit card to pay for the repairs and that's how it should be handled. I can be reached at ** or ** (text).

    After comparing and price matching I purchased a vehicle service contract from Delta in May of 2018. No claims made until Feb. 2019. Vehicle was towed to repair facility who diagnosed issue, contacted Delta and received a repair authorization number. Once the facility forwarded a bill to Delta a corporate credit card number was to be provided for payment. Several weeks went by, NO payment. Repair facility contacted Delta and was told they mailed check out in early March, which was never received. A stop payment on the alleged check was done with a promise from the finance department to pay, as the sales pitch states, via the corporate credit card at the end of the week. No payment received.

    Calls on Monday to obtain payment were met with no answer. Told to leave several messages. Repair facility contacted me to ascertain if I received the refund for the tow portion of the bill for which I am still waiting. On Wed I called Delta to inquire about repair facility payment and was told the same BS that would provide corp credit card of Friday. I gave to this Friday to see if the tow refund comes to me which, you guessed it, did not arrive since Feb 28 and March 12.

    Today I contacted Delta once again speaking with Aaron. Aaron advised the financial department decided to go home early today(1 pm) even though schedule is until 5:30 pm eastern. Aaron provided me with two soon to be broken promises of payment on Monday. An inquiry about receiving a complete refund for the useless contract was not addressed. Avoided the question several times and eventually replied he will forward info via my email. Still have not received. This company is very quick to answer the sales line when it rings but you can wait forever for someone in the other departments to answer when you need assistance. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM DELTA WARRANTY SERVICES. Pay a lil more money for a much better product. Tim **. Middletown NY.

    This is by far the biggest lying company ever and needs to be completely shut down. I have been harassed, sexually and emotionally. Been told to shut my mouth by Jeffrey **, who is management. Been on hold for over an hour to be hung up on. I will do everything possible to start class action lawsuit. I paid 1500.00 for this warranty. I have been lied to consistently.

    Idk where to begin... I bought this insurance policy January 27th 2019. Under the agreement 9 months into my policy would be the policy being paid off of $3,100 with Delta Auto protect but what I got was a $1,019.50 payment taken from me on the phone the very first day... under the agreement that the other two thousand and small remainder left would be paid over a six-month. I never gave them permission to go to my bank or my account or withdrawing funds ever. They have not provided me any service.

    Though my car is in the shop they're refusing to pay for the service for my vehicle 'cause the starter went out which is clearly covered in their platinum or premium package they offer which if you really really read doesn't actually cover anything on your car at all. It has all the names to all the parts of the car that should be covered but actually none of them are actually covered so what type of finding this out the hard way. They took my income tax money to pay my property tax out of my bank account unannounced and left me with my home almost in foreclosure and delinquency having to take a $1,200 loan out to pay my property taxes. They have my vehicle now being held hostage by Land Rover 'cause they don't want to pay the fees that they I paid them for so I'm out of a vehicle now for two weeks.

    I have Land Rover holding my vehicle hostage for a bill that they worked on that Delta won't cover. Delta took my money more than $2,000 two different times out of my account unannounced without my permission basically committing fraud and then they said because my vehicle had aftermarket wheels and tires on it. They were going to cancel my policy completely and then two days after they say they're going to cancel my policy completely they don't even tell me this until Land Rover this two days after they say they're going to cancel my policy completely they go ahead and take the rest of the money they think is remainder of the account owed to them and just take the money and cancel my policy.

    So they basically took three thousand one hundred and something dollars for gave me no service and rendered me useless of my vehicle that I'm having to pay now $560 just to get back out of Land Rover out of pocket plus $200 for towing charges plus I have to get it towed from Land Rover and get it towed to another shop now again and pay out of pocket for the starter to get fixed on my truck which is another $350. So right now I'm at a $3,500 and got absolutely no service.

    Beware of the company adding fake reviews so that they push the negative reviews down! Cancelled my warranty due to car being sold. It's been over 60 days and I have not received my refund yet or responses despite multiple emails. This is probably the only company that does not respond to emails or takes over 2 months for a refund to process, yet they are quick to take payment via credit card.

    These are the associates who have been contacted at the same time but made no effort to respond in weeks, despite responding within a few hours when it came down to purchasing the insurance. sales@deltaautoprotect.com, **, admin@deltaautoprotect.com, info@deltaautoprotect.com, Kirk (Extension **), Aaron ** (Extension **). EDIT: I have contacted them multiple times since this review, and 2 weeks ago they said that they "sent the check in January." Pathetic. This has been their excuse for every single claim. They NEVER send the check and apparently their checks always get lost in the mail.

    03/04 - Aaron ** said he sent a check with tracking - no check and no answers to phone calls or voicemails when asking for tracking! 03/18 - Kirk said a check was sent and that he would resend. Gave me a FAKE USPS tracking number. Can you imagine how bad your company must be doing when you're giving customers fake tracking numbers for a check they were supposed to receive months ago? He said I should have it by end of the week. Yeah right! 03/21 - Followed up as I saw that tracking number had no movement. Kirk said they send all their checks out on Fridays. That contradicts what you said a few days ago Kirk! 03/25 - Monday after the Friday when the check was supposed to be mailed. Kirk said all checks go out on the 1st of the month. Do you see a pattern here? Seems like they are just trying to survive.

    Logged complaint with BBB (attached) and contacted my lawyer who is creating a case. Can't believe I have to go through all this for a $1,200 refund, but it's the principle that counts. Who knows how many other customers they have taken for their money who did not have these resources. I have started posting on multiple forums to stay away from these guys based on my experience.

    Have had a Delta warranty plan for almost a year now. Never had any problems, so I was starting to think maybe I should not extend it for another year. Two weeks ago, an engine warning light came on, but the car still ran fine, so I said I can ignore it for a while and see what happens. Last Tuesday I went into the garage to start the car and go to work and... well, nothing. Engine not turning, that light on, and everything dead. No sound no nothing. Called Delta and explained the situation. It was 7 in the morning, so it took them about an hour to find someone to come over. I left for work and asked my wife to let the guy check the car. I got a call later that day from Delta, telling me the mechanic had checked the car, but the issue was not something he could sort in my garage and that he is about to tow the car to a repair shop, and they were asking for my ok to do so. I of course agreed.

    The next morning, I got a cal, from the repair shop. On the other end was Dan, one of the mechanics let me know that it is a crankshaft sensor issue, and while the cost of the part was not that high, getting to it to replace it was going to take some labour cost. He wanted to let me know that he was going to call Delta and ask for a confirmation of the repair. Half an hour later, a rep from Delta called to let me know that they would cover the issue and have the car repaired. Today is Sunday, and I just got a call from Delta letting me know that the car has been repaired and they have already cleared the payment, so I can pick it up at my own convenience from the repair shop. And all I had to pay in excess is $112. I tell you, people, worth every penny. I'm one happy bird.

    Nothing much more to say. They are exactly what they say they are. A company to rely on when the going gets tough with your car. And it was tough lately, but it all worked out with their help. I had 3 different issue in the past 4 months, and they were all taken care of. I had to pay a deductible every time, but it was more than decent. Happy customer here. Keep it up, guys.     I had been looking around for a warranty for my used Toyota when I came across Delta and requested a free quote from their website. I was happy with the quote. I took out the warranty.     I have had a positive experience with this company. From sales to claim reps and finance, they were all friendly and did their best to help. Also, the package covers most normal car issues making it a very good choice, especially for used cars. If you want to take advantage of the best premium, under 100K miles is where you would need to be. I love them. Not going anywhere else in the near future.

    I run a small fleet of limos in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada and I cannot do without an extended warranty plan for my cars. I went with Delta because of the small premiums and their excellent service. My brother Joe uses them for his family cars and encouraged me to go ahead and sign with them. I have not had one bad experience with them up to date, they keep their promises and if you can read English the terms of the contract are very clear. It's supposed to be an extended warranty, not overall insurance, so of course, there will be terms. But it has saved me a lot of money in running operation repairs and a lot of downtimes with the roadside assistance pack.

    I'm on my third insurance company and my third second-hand car. I can tell you they all have flaws, some of them to the point where you feel you're just being scammed. My Delta experience is by far the best up to date. My current car is shared with my wife, so it packs a lot of punches (no misogynism intended). I've had two incidents, a blown tire in the middle of highway 6 and a more serious one related to the transmission. Both were addressed as I expected and in comparison to previous companies, the amount I had to pay was not ridiculous. The contractor tow-truck driver, Jerry, was super nice and said he had a good working relationship with Delta, as he is a one-man business. The person I spoke to on the phone from Delta sounded sincere, feeling sorry for the trouble I had. It kind of felt like calling a friend and asking for a hand. I like this company. Makes me and my wife feel safe, whatever the situation is.

    Delta Auto Protect has been the best option for me so far in terms of maintaining my car and getting additional services like roadside assistance. I am most impressed by their customer service.     I will never change my extended warranty for my car, Delta is the way to go, for me at least. They have always been prompt and fair, explaining the reasons behind me having to pay an excess sometimes. I've had three separate incidents, one involving me being stupid and running out of gas, one where my ABS light went on in the dashboard and had to have my break-pads replaced on my rear axle and one where my gearbox would not shift correctly. In all three cases, they took care of me, and in the end, in total for all these I paid an excess of $87.00, and I even got a rental for the last one, as my car had to be in the shop for almost a week, waiting for the part to be delivered. I think that's a pretty fine deal. What I'm a bit annoyed with is the fact that my car is just over 100K and it's been having all these issues. I would have been bankrupt if I hadn't opted for an extended warranty with Delta. Worth it!

    Had an overheating issue a couple of days ago. Called Delta and they had a tow truck sent under half an hour. The car was taken to the repair shop and they offered me a rental for the downtime. In the end, I only had to pay a small deductible excess. Could it have been better? Yes, maybe a bit shorter wait on the phone line to get to a rep, but all together, it was 40 minutes to have a tow truck at my location from the moment my car broke down. Overall, good experience.

    I bought a 5 year plan to cover my 2014 BMW X5. The price was great. I thought to myself, this is too good to be true. One year later, a part of the sealed block in the engine leaked (something that I have no control in maintaining) and the engine needed to be replaced. Of course, Delta found a loophole in the contract to disclaim. Ok, fine, shame on me, I knew it was too good to be true. I paid out of pocket to replace the engine and then sold the car. Leased a new car with a full warranty. Called Delta to at least get my prorated portion of the unused contract refunded (allowed as per the contract thankfully) back in December of 2018. Got a confirmation email that the cancellation was processed and the check would take up to 60 days to receive.

    SO I wait until mid February to cal. When I call, they say they will cancel the missing check and issue a new one. Ok, here we go again...I then called back in early March. They told me that the new check was issued on March 1st and I have to wait up to 10 business days to receive it. Ok so I wait again and call on Friday March 15th. Still no check, I call back...They now tell me I have to wait 10-15 business days. Still no check. This is not right. I'm an attorney and I’m having this much trouble, I can't even imagine how brutal they are to people who won't stand up for themselves. Very frustrating that they just can't be an honest company and give me my refund.

    My name is Lashawn **, I purchased a warranty for my vehicle in Nov. 2018. I paid 1500.00 for the warranty, I felt relieved that I had coverage. In Jan, my car had a leak in the sunroof, I knew repair wouldn’t be covered, no big deal, but what I didn’t know and didn’t expect, was the unprofessionalism, lack of customer service and down right rudeness from the customer service representatives. I was repeatedly hung up on, left on hold for hours and talked down to. I cancelled the warranty on 1/10/2019, I was told I would receive a prorated refund in the amount of 1083.00. It is now 3/14/2019, I haven’t received anything.

    I have called Delta several times and spoke to Aaron **, Aaron identifies himself as a Manager. Each time I speak to Aaron, I’m giving different dates that the check was mailed, I was told the check went to the incorrect address etc... I have been giving tracking #’s that have no movement. It’s unbelievable that this company is in business. Do yourself a favor and read the BBB and Elliott Advocacy if you are thinking of purchasing a warranty through this company.

    Delta Auto Protect has the lowest deductible around. It was the only thing I was responsible for paying, when my Camry stalled on the freeway. Something about the crankshaft sensor.     I didn’t really know a lot about cars etc but I had never had to pull over on side of road due to my car overheating and had to put antifreeze or water into it, and had to wait for it to cool down my engine before starting it up again. But I had to call a tow truck to come and tow my car to the nearest shop cause my car would not start back up after it had water or antifreeze in it to make it cool down but not sure what else is wrong with it, overheated, put antifreeze etc. So car won’t start and with auto protection I only had to pay the minimal deductible, and also thanks to Delta, I was so stressed about all this with my car but felt less stressful than I could’ve been...     DO NOT PURCHASE WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY, PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. THIS COMPANY LIES SO MUCH!!! I submitted a claim for the replacement of the front left wheel bearings. One of the staffs told me that the claim would be processed within 24 to 48 hours. Then I started calling after 3rd day and everyone kept saying the claim is under review and would be surprised if it takes longer than 24 hours. I kept calling them every day and they kept telling me that the claim is under review and will take another 24 hours to review. The same story by every representative. During this time they kept holding my call for more than an hour and line was disconnected. SO MUCH IRRITATING!!!

    Then almost after 10 days, one guy picked up my phone and kept on hold for about 2-3 minutes and replied me that the claim was declined. When I asked the reason, the guy told me that the Axle wheel bearing was not the issue. My invoice clearly mentions that the the front axle wheel bearings with hub was changed and it is fully covered under my warranty. But the guy told me their technician declined arguing that only bearing nuts were changed. He tried to make me full. Seems that he even does not know the difference. They have bought technician and make a story to lie. THEY JUST WANT TO MAKE MONEY WITHOUT COVERING ANYTHING.

    The experience has been terrible. While buying the warranty they gave me car wash coupon to be able to get up to $100 worth of car wash reimbursed within the first year of contract. I submitted the receipts for all of my car washes within one year and I have not heard back anything from them.     I locked my keys in my car and the only spare key I had was 30 miles away at my house.     Bought this last summer. Last month my vehicle had to go to Cadillac dealer because power steering went out. They've had it now for going on 5 weeks because they took 3 days to call dealer back after initial contact, lowballed the dealer on parts and labor, said they would order the part which they never did, said they would allow the dealer 400$ toward the part although it was 800$, making me pick up the balance. Customer service is non-existent. Dealer found lower control arms bad while replacing power steering rack, Delta would not cover because it wasn't in the original estimate. I'm out another 800$ personally. The sales pitch is perfect, but the execution is the most underhanded business tactic I've seen in a long time.     This company would not fix my power mirror on my Escalade. So I canceled shortly after. They made it very difficult to get cancellation doc sent through email. I had to call several times. Finally got the cancellation paperwork, Delta Auto Protect was only willing to refund $1690.00 of the $2100.00 paid. Fees and stuff they claim. They said refund would arrive soon. Now it has been almost 3 months - still no refund. I have spent many hours trying to collect my refund. They just keep stalling. They train the call center people to stall you with promises that “the check is on the way”. It is clear that Delta Auto Protect is defrauding me out of my hard earned money.     The hood of my car started smoking while I was driving. I called Delta Auto Protect once I made it to my destination. Delta sent out a tow truck and rental car for me in less than an hour.     This extended Warranty company is a Scam! They charged me $2600 for the 5 yr 60K miles extended warranty. On the first claim they gave me a runaround for 2 weeks while my car was in the shop waiting and I was driving a rental for $47 per day and after the 2nd week they denied my claim for absolutely no reason! The managers themselves didn't have a good reason. They just thought since the charge was a bit high. They can just decline and get me off their back!     Delta Auto Protect sells you on being able to take your car to any shop for covered repairs. What they don't tell you is that they will take forever to respond to you or the shop and even longer to pay. We have had to use the contract twice now. They never paid the shop for the first repair until we brought the car back in months later for another issue, and the shop threatened to hold our car. Now, they nickel and dimed the shop and refused to pay the full amount of the alternator repair, leaving us holding the bag for the difference, and we had to pay the full amount up front. They are supposed to be sending us payment (as the shop will not wait on payment from them again), and have never reimbursed us. I have called multiple times and e-mailed a manager multiple times with no response. This product is a borderline fraud.

They approve work to be done by repair shops and give you a claim confirmation but never actually pay the repair shops for any work performed. Which then is put back on the customer who purchased the extended warranty to pay the shop for work that was approved to be performed by Delta Auto Protect!     People please DO NOT get this warranty. This company is awful, very bad customer service, will not answer phones, when they do answer you’ll have to wait and listen to elevator music for 20-30 mins. They must be short of help. They say 24/7 online but I called on the weekend and a guy answered and said he was the answering service. But if you call I’m to get warranty they pick right up and offer you the cheapest warranty with high miles. I should’ve known then something was fishy. I’m not angry or bitter because I know some things are not covered. Their warranty is not specific at all. It says it covers transmission but make sure you get in detail the components of every part.

    You call to make a claim and it’s suppose to be 24-48 hours. The dealer called my claim in on Tuesday and they didn’t call back till the following Monday. Please people take my advice don’t go with this company. They sound good on the phone when explaining and very nice but you’re in they treat you like poop. They will not fix anything on your vehicle and tries their best to get out of paying for repairs but don’t mind drafting your account. DON'T DO IT!!!

    The Delta Auto Protect is nothing but a front to rip people off their money. We got wised up on time not to purchase their policy. However, after over 2 weeks, we are yet to receive our initial deposit. We have made three phone calls to our sales rep, and each time he assured us that the refund was on its way, yet no refund so far! This leaves us with no choice but to contact our credit card company and ask them to reverse the charges.     Beware. I am a local transmission repair shop in business for 19 years. Worked in the industry for 29 years. This company has lied to me about paying their part of a transmission rebuild I did for them and their client. They have never once returned any of my phone calls and have multiple excuses about paying me. Been put on hold for long periods of time to end up with voicemail and my poor customer needs her car which I can't deliver until they pay their part of the repair as promised which ended up just over half of the cost. They do not cover everything as most people would think when buying their warranty.

    It is absolutely shocking to me that there are so many positive reviews of Delta Auto Protect. I purchased an extended warranty on June 29, 2015. I've used it twice, and both times were like pulling teeth. The first time, my window motor blew out and needed to be replaced. It took Delta two weeks to resolve my claim, and it was because of weird reasons like "they have one fax machine which is in a locked room and closed on the weekends."

    This time has been much, much worse. I took my car in for a repair in November 2018. YES, you read that right--it is now January 2019. According to Delta's own records, my claim was filed on November 15, 2018. They approved my claim in early December 2018. I have called them about 20 times--as has my mechanic--to get the check and finally close out my claim. Sometimes, no one answers the phone. I've left dozens of messages with various reps who give me their "direct line" but nobody has ever returned my call. And if I do get someone on the line, it's after 25 minutes of being put on hold. Yesterday I spend my entire 40 minute commute to the office waiting for someone to take my call at Delta.

    Yesterday I spoke to a guy named Bretton ** who purportedly is a claims supervisor. He assured me he would call me every day with updates because even he admitted that after a claim is approved--as mine was in early December--it should not take 2 months to cut the check. By the way, the repair is not huge, probably a couple hundred dollars at most. Like every other employee at Delta, Bretton did not call me back, did not respond to my emails, and did not provide me with any sort of update as to his efforts to get my claim finalized.

    In sum, this company should not be in business. They don't have the most basic functions needed, like an accessible fax machine or three-way calling. They don't know how to return calls. Their reps all lie--I can't tell you how many times and by how many reps I was told "we'll have the check for your mechanic by 5 pm today"--all a lie. They also don't train their reps to take good notes, because every time I call I have to reexplain the saga of how Delta has royally screwed my claim to oblivion. If I did not have a second car, I would have spent thousands of dollars by now on a rental, with absolutely no guarantee that Delta would reimburse any of it. It was a complete waste of $2500 and I might as well have just lit the equivalent cash on fire.

    I decided to purchase a used car a few months ago. The Ford Explorer had about 95,000 miles and the previous owner claims the vehicle has had consistent maintenance.     We run a very highly respected service department in Bradenton Florida And Delta approved a repair for our customers Mercedes. After having no problem getting authorization we continued with repairs. Customer paid deductible and copy was faxed. Called 3 days later with the accounts receivable company stating payment was mailed, normal payment is to be faxed with a credit card number. Once waiting a week no payment was rendered. Called back and was told credit card payment would be made.

    After a month of no payment, no phone calls returned and multiple emails we had to contact the customer for payment. We feel terrible that the customer got no help when they attempted to call multiple times and received no refund for the contract that never provided them any no funds and broke the contract they were suppose to provide. WE HIGHLY ADVISE NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY. We have been doing business for 45 years and never experienced such poor or ignored service.

    Sold a car. Couldn't get callback for exchanging the policy on to a truck. Canceled and got e-mail confirmation Oct 29, 2018 promising $853 within 30 business days. It's now January 15th and still no refund. Many many calls. Long waits. Never the same representative. Often cut off. Finally filed claim through Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. They kept saying it wasn't necessary to file a complaint. Do yourself a favor and file a complaint as soon as the 30 business days is up. They keep saying it is in the next check batch or the last one. They said they only mail refunds once a month. Do you know any other company that does that. Expect extremely long call wait times and being cut off.

    I purchased this warranty and added the wheel and tire package. I was asked if I had premium wheels and was to take a picture of the wheels and send it in to verify. After a couple claims, which took forever for my mechanic to contact them for an ok, they stated that the tires on the vehicle were not stock and they were canceling the entire warranty. They stated that I would get a refund minus the money they previously paid out. When I call to talk to someone about this I either get their answering service or no answer at all. If I call as a "new" customer someone picks up right away but "can't help me" and transfers the call to the same place where there is no answer or an answering service.

    I have received a call back after threatening emails stating my refund is on the way. After several months, several emails, and several calls back stating it's on the way, I am still left with nothing from Delta Auto Protect. They take your money and then try to make it impossible for you to claim anything. When you do claim something, they either don't answer or find a way to cancel you. I would not advise anyone to use this company for anything.

    Please stay away from Delta Auto Protect. They will make sure your amount is larger than theirs. Customer services so weird and the phones ring for very long periods of time. I am begging all consumers please read those reviews because they will protect your pockets. Delta is just no good. They do not care about their customers only collecting your money each month. Delta will not respond when the car repair shop try to call them numerous of time. Totally ignore your Car repair request.

    Delta had me crying and begging for them to finish what they promise in my contract. For all of you out there thinking you are getting a great deal and understanding is very sadly mistaken.     I took my Cadillac SRX to the dealer December 15th since no other shop would accept my warranty. The repair was approved by Delta and my car was ready on Dec 17th. It is not Jan 9th and I just now got my car back, and the only reason I was able to get my car today is because I just paid the full cost of the repair. I called several times and the support is horrible! Was told a check was MAILED to the dealer on Dec 17th. Then I called and was told a check was mailed on Dec 24th, then a check was mailed on Dec 27th. My dealer laughed that "the checks in the mail" from my warranty company. 99.999% of warranty places pay with a credit card over the phone or fax and Delta use to.

    The process has taken so long that my dealer asked for the loaner car back before the holidays and I wasn't even able to go out of town for Christmas. Customer service is absolutely the worst I have EVER encountered. So thank you Delta for ruining my family holiday and costing me way more money by taking my car to the dealer that you didn't even pay for. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!!!

    My car is in for regular service at my dealer, they discover some leaks. My dealer has previously serviced this vehicle and these leaks were NOT there before. They do multi-point inspections every time. So I paid for a diagnostic of the leaks, and they concluded the problems is: Rack & Pinon leaking, Leaking Transmission Cooler Line, Engine Internal Cover Leak.

    So the dealership filed a claim Wednesday evening 1/2/19. Thursday dealer called them back for an update and was told an inspector would need to come out, and it would take 24-48 hours for an inspector to come out. As of today, 1/9/19 no inspector has came out, no inspector has called. Both dealership and I have made repeated calls to Delta Auto-Protect. No one answer the phone. It goes to voicemail.     I dealt with Delta Auto Protect this past August to get help when my Volkswagen Beetle broke down and left me stranded far from home. I had issues accelerating up a hill and had to pull over since the car could not continue safety going. I suspected there was a transmission problem, so I called Delta Auto Protect’s customer service to get a tow. I spoke with a helpful gentleman who asked me some questions about my car issue and location and then arranged for a tow truck to come in around half an hour. The tow truck came on time and transported my Beetle to the nearest Volkswagen dealership, where I was told a whole new transmission was necessary. This repair was set up for the next day at just the cost of my deductible rather than the high cost of a transmission replacement.

    I purchased two policies and was charged for 3. I challenged the third charge and it was removed from my credit card. Delta Auto cancelled one of the policies without notice. Will not return calls, e-mail, or address the issue. Car is stuck in service unless I pay for it. Customer Service is horrid. Use another company!

    Original Review: I signed up with Delta in November 2018 for my 2006 Cadillac SRX. As I was calling around getting quotes I found that they gave me the best rate especially for all they "covered" (go figure) so I signed up. They were quick to charge my credit card for the deposit and assured me that I had 30 days to cancel. Then I called my local Cadillac dealer to ask if they accept Delta warranty just in case (my fault I should've did that first) and they said they don't deal with Delta and that I should look up the lawsuits they have against them; so I did. So I called Delta back to cancel my contract and mind you this is a couple days after I signed up. At first Delta was nice but then when I told them I wanted to cancel they were rude with "dropping the call" bouncing me back and forth between representatives and then sending me to a voicemail box with of course no callback!

    I called multiple times a day every day until I spoke to someone and finally after 2 weeks and threats that I would report them they finally sent me an email to cancel my contract and said that they would expedite my refund. It's been almost a month and still no refund!! I call so much the representatives know who I am right away but still do nothing! Please do your research before you sign up with them! Look up Delta lawsuit and all the information will come out on this "company". The reason they are still in business is because they steal money from people! Remember if something sounds too good to be true it's because it is!! DON'T SIGN UP WITH THEM!!

    We have had our policy since 2015 and have used it on two occasions. The first occasion they approved the service for my Infiniti QX56 but it took my dealership's service department 7 months to receive payment. Fortunately the dealership had released my car to me prior to receiving their payment. This time, Delta agreed to pay for part of the issue at hand, and over two weeks ago supposedly sent out a check to the dealership (who still does snail mail checks these days?). The dealership has called numerous times receiving no calls back. They actually have had to call and pretend they are interested in a policy in order to speak to a real person, then have gotten their calls dropped as they were supposed to be getting transferred to the correct party.

    When they have actually spoken to real people they have been told different stories as to who they now need to speak with. The dealership wants them to cancel the "check that is in the mail" and pay by credit card but have been told that it is not possible to do so. The way Delta conducts business is not only antiquated but dishonest. At this point I can only get my car back if I pay the dealership first and then get reimbursed when the check finally arrives if it ever does. They will be hearing from my lawyer shortly if this does not get resolved this week.

Delta Auto will quickly approve claim (which is good), but you will NEVER get your money. I have been given the run around for months that checks are mailed to call weeks later to find out that they still need invoice details to complete the payment process. Have been told on 4 separate occasions that the check was either mailed and or will be mailed (not sure how it was mailed and then not).     I purchased a new used automobile and cancelled my extended warranty on August 22, 2018. I furnished the required signed copy of the cancellation. I have made five phone calls and numerous emails requesting the refund. All of the email messages have never been acknowledged and the phone calls resulted in three promises that the check would be mailed on the Friday after the phone call. Today is December 28, 2018 and still I have not received a check from the company. The question of why I rated the company with a 1 is evident- no service and no action to provide a refund of the money due me for the cancellation.

    There was one claim against the policy which only covered the purchase of the part and not the repair. I was out an additional close to $590 for the one covered repair. The policy was initiated in October 2015 and covered only three years of the policy period. The purchase price was approximately $2500 and the refund is supposed to be $683.33. Their inattention to providing timely refund of money plus the fact that they did not expend coverage for the one claim indicates that they fail to provide advertised support for their policies. I would never suggest someone get a policy from them.

    Updated on 01/31/2019: I canceled my contract with Delta Auto Protect, although I still had about 18 months left on my contract. On the January 7th I received an E-Mail, with a cancellation confirmation, which they wanted me to sign. I went through said document and to my surprise they added a NEW paragraph that was different from the paperwork I had initially signed when purchasing their extended auto warranty. The newly added paragraph read as follows: "VII. CANCELLATION OF VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT Section D. At the time the sale was conducted on ** there was a deferred registration fee of $250.00 and this is only due if contract is cancelled prior to the term start as noted above. Once the contract begins, it is activated and the registration fee is non-refundable."

    NONE OF THIS was in my original contract that I had signed. They simply added this on. The money of the invoice from Ford, which I had to pay up front to get my car back, was still not reimbursed to me. I sent them 5 E-Mails with the invoice from Ford, they ignored every single one of them. At this point, I will take this matter to the AG and will make sure that this company will be hold accountable. They can’t just add things to an original document as it was signed, hoping that I would not catch said addition. Those are unethical and illegal business practices and I will make sure to shine the brightest light I can find onto their shady business dealings!

    Updated on 01/01/2019: After 6 weeks I finally received payment for towing, which was 74.00 dollars. There is still an open invoice after vehicle was in the shop the 2nd time, because of refurbished parts sent by Delta Auto Protect, which had to be replaced. Delta Auto Protect paid for labor hours 216 dollars for the first time and do not want to know anything about the 2nd repair caused by their faulty parts. There were also necessary diagnostic tests required after the installation of faulty parts, which Delta refuses to acknowledge. Delta claims that the problem has been resolved, which is not true.

    Original Review: After making claims with Delta Auto Protect and many telephone calls they sent refurbished parts which had failed after a short period of time. When returned to the Ford dealer, there were diagnostic tests required to assess the problem that was the refurbished parts. After many telephone calls we finally got aftermarket parts, which had corrected the problem.

    Now the problem really begins. Contacting them to release funds to pay for the repairs was worse than pulling teeth. I had to pay upfront to get my vehicle back, now I am stuck with the bill. After 6 weeks and 3 emails with invoice I have still not received reimbursement for towing costs which was only 74 dollars. They will not return calls or react to emails, even the car dealer was very frustrated, he never experienced a warranty company like this. I am telling everybody to do some research and read all the bad reviews online before deciding to buy an extended vehicle warranty. I paid 2299 dollar for the Diamond Premiere Plan. What a waste of my hard earned money.

    My BMW was authorized for a replacement water pump and accordingly, my service tech did the repair properly and returned the car to me. They then asked Delta Auto for payment and were assured that payment would be made the next day via a corporate credit card. This was two weeks ago and nothing has been paid. Every time my service shop calls in for payment, the customer service people give them the runaround. Now the service shop is demanding that I pay for the repair and deal with Delta. This was not the experience I was promised when I signed the contract. I am very disappointed in the company and will probably have to seek arbitration since they seem to be not inclined to pay what they promised my shop. Never buy this warranty!

    I bought Delta Auto Protect Diamond warranty ($2500) for my F-250 about a year ago. The turbocharger went out on Oct 8th and I filed a claim. The truck was in Craig CO and my 5th wheel, which I was towing in Baggs Wy. Delta never got around to authorizing the repair shop to fix the truck, and kept constantly requests for info from them. And after two weeks I told them to fix it and I would pay for it and Delta told me they would reimburse me. They never return phone calls, or emails, constant request for things like all services records from the time I bought the truck (sent them 40 pages), wanted to have it inspected by a 3rd party (which I let them do). Each of these things take two weeks or so.

    I had to get the 5th wheel out of WY so I flew my son up to CO and he brought the truck and 5th wheel back to CA where I live. Now for all of this it took 2 months. Now I am told "the check is in the mail." Over two weeks have gone by no check. Each time I call they put me on hold and I get dropped in 30 or so seconds. I have left my name and Ph number 6-7 times no call. I would suggest anyone wanting a vehicle warranty avoid this company.

    My Maserati Ghibli, that I love very much, was sending messages regarding low oil pressure even though I had just changed the oil and filter. This, of course was concerning so, I made an appointment with my dealer who diagnosed that the oil sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. While the sensor was not costly, the service cost was due to the sensor location.

    INCOMPETENCE AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE-DO NOT BUY A POLICY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! My vehicle has been in a repair shop for over 2 WEEKS awaiting approval from Delta for repairs required. I have called the customer service Ext at least 25 times and was put on hold or asked to leave a message... and never received a return call. I finally reached someone when I asked to be connected to a sales agent under the pretense that I was interested in buying a policy. Ironically, my call was immediately taken as Delta is only interested in sales but is a no show when you need to make a claim. They finally sent an appraiser to evaluate the repair needs over a week ago and my car is still sitting in the repair shop awaited a decision.

    I plan to make a complaint to every regulatory resource available to report their incompetent practices and any recommendations as to other recourses that are available to reach out to will be most appreciated. I am also planning on cancelling and obtaining a refund from the 5 yr policy that I purchased this past year. I urge all who read this to consider doing the same thing!

    I purchased the DELTA Auto Protect Diamond Premier Plan for my 2008 Porsche Cayman for the very reason that repairs would be expensive, especially catastrophic engine or drivetrain failures. The young commissioned phone sales person will assure you all such failures are covered stem to stern. After all, unless you record the call, who's going to know what promises are made? My engine did fail and it was catastrophic. Engine seized and I could not and would not attempt to even restart it. It was determined to be a blown engine. "Cylinder block, cylinder head(s) if damage by internally lubricated parts" is the EXACT quote of line 1of coverage contract.

    Now Delta says I am NOT covered. I have had no car for 7 weeks now. I walk to work. The worst part is their service. They offer no live person for your contact. You are put on hold for 30-40 minutes and then they roll you into an overflow call center, not part of Delta. They assure you Delta will call you back, but they never do. I had to wait 6 weeks to find out I was not covered.

    I suspect, because cost is $20,000 to remove/replace and re-install Porsche engine, they've decided to shut me out. I was transferred around, and when rejected, man never gave his name and said if I took them to court Delta would seek all attorney fees from me. The law requires a written denial by them, so of course you will not get one. They can simply hide while you continue without a car. $20,000 for repair, $20,000... possible more for a lawyer. Tens of thousands for their attorneys if I lose. I could not warn you enough. Unless the repair is a small part broken or a radio lost, they will run and hide. I am out of options and lawyers are trying to determine how to proceed. What is the Insurance company which provides the backing for this company? Ask them this before you proceed. If you look here, there is NO mention of an underwriter, a bank or any institution to file with.

    I'm extremely glad my hubby talked me into going with Delta Auto Protection. It was raining cats, and dogs, and a bit foggy that night. I was driving alone from dropping my hubby off at work in another city taking a detour from my normal passage. My car started to shake and run hot. I saw a little smoke. I immediately pulled off to the side of the street and turned off my car in a panic frenzy. I called my husband and told him what just happened.     Good luck trying to get payment from these guys. It's been over a month since a customer vehicle has been repaired and still no contact for payment of any kind. Look at the other reviews for this company, everyone has the same problem trying to get payment. 860.00 is not a lot and yet after MULTIPLE times of trying to contact someone for payment, after leaving multiple emails, voicemails, speaking with "managers" still nothing. I've called every day since the car was released. Do not let them fool you by saying payment has been sent out or emailed.

    They change their story every time. First, they say can't do payments over the phone, then they can. Then it takes 24-48 hours to receive payment via email\fax, then saying I will have payment by end of business day. Mr. Jack ** who is a "manager" over the financial department couldn't even get me payment after several times talking to him. He HAD TO TRANSFER ME TO THE FINANCIAL DEPARTMENT TO GET PAYMENT, THE VERY SAME DEPARTMENT HE IS IN CHARGE OF. Needless to say, it doesn't look like we'll be getting paid for our service, nor will anyone else.

    Update. Today is Nov. 29th 2018. I originally purchased a warranty 7 months ago, but my issue happened 3 months ago and was an EXTREMELY poor experience with this company. Situation: I advised the rep I purchased my car with aftermarket rims and made sure that wouldn’t affect my policy. Even showed him in the contract where it said that’s not okay, he continued to tell me I was perfectly fine as long as the fault on my car had nothing to do with alignment, wheels, etc. Which made sense I guess so I purchased the policy and months later a seal broke in the engine, causing oil to go all over the place. The repair was about 4K. Delta Auto Protect sent out investigators and denied the claim due to my wheels. I fought it, they found in the notes the agent who sold me the policy said I was fine, I paid for my policy 100% up front. But they didn’t want to pay for the repair so they were set on royally screwing me over.

    Some times goes by, me and a manager agree on an (almost) full refund. I paid for my own repair and waited for my refund. Fast forward to three months, I have still yet to receive my refund and I call them every week and it’s another lie. "It was sent out today, it’s stuck in transit, we will mail it again...” Always something and very rude customer service. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Please I am warning you! I am at the part too in which I am forced to have my lawyer seek legal actions and obtain my money. That’s all. I’m just warning you guys because I thought I did enough research before buying the contract but I guess not.

    I was stranded and did not know what to do. I had run over a nail, causing my tire to go flat. It was pretty late and I first called my sister who lived in the area but she didn't answer. l decided instead of soliciting help from strangers, I'd use my Delta warranty to get roadside assistance. A Delta representative advised me what to do to ensure I was safe on the side of the road while someone was dispatched nearby to come help me. It did not even take long before everything was in order and I was on the road. This warranty has really come in handy. Roadside assistance can be really expensive, but with my warranty I paid just my deductible for the brief assistance.

    I purchased Delta Auto Protect for my vehicle at the highest available coverage and plan. It was supposed to cover “everything”. Turns out the first two things I needed to use it for weren’t actually covered. An oil pan leak and a gasket crack. Both of these repairs cost over $1500 a piece and totaled more than I paid for the coverage.

    The third repair I needed required a tow. This happened in September of 2018. I submitted a request for reimbursement for the tow on October 1st and did not hear back for over 10 days, I sent a follow up email. 13 more days late I sent a second follow up email. Then I began calling. Each time I called I was sent in circles from customer service to claims. Each time they ASSURED me they had spoken with the Finance Department and that my check would be sent out “that day and expedited”. I sent 3-4 additional emails. I called 4-5 more times. Nothing.

    I was not able to speak with the Finance Department because they “don’t take calls from the public”. I was unable to receive an email or fax confirmation in writing of WHEN or HOW I would be paid because “confirmations only come after payment”. Today is November 21st, 2018. It has been over two months and my vehicle was finished with repairs at the body shop within the first week, but they have been withholding my vehicle from me because they also have not been able to receive payment from Delta. Same story. Always being sent in circles, always promising payment will happen by the end of the day.

    My body shop told me that after today they are going to begin charging for storage. I spoke again with someone at customer service who SWEARS payment will come to both of us by the end of the day, but will not let me speak to anyone at Finance Department and cannot provide any type of written confirmation of when the payment will happen. Luckily my family has an extra vehicle that I have been using the last 2 months or I would be out of pocket and chasing Delta down for a reimbursement for that as well.

    I am tired and frustrated. I need my vehicle back. And I’m wondering why in the world I spent so much money on the highest coverage if this is how much work goes into each and every claim trying to get my money and my body shop's money. I can’t believe this company has so many good reviews. Not once has anyone apologized, acknowledged the terrible customer service or tried in any way to make this right for me.

    I wanted to save myself when it came to car repairs and this warranty helped a lot. I figured that I was already paying a ton in car repairs and random roadside assistance emergencies.     On 6/26/2015 Delta Auto Protect and I entered into a contractual agreement to provide an extended warranty on my 2006 RAM B2500 Pickup truck for 5 years or 100,000 miles; my vehicle is within the time & mileage period. On Oct 30th 2018 my vehicle required service that is covered by the extended warranty's "Diamond Plus" plan. My vehicle is at a local Century Chrysler in MD, waiting for Delta Auto Protect to honor our agreement.

    Delta Auto Protect keeps telling me that they need to have an inspector, inspect my vehicle before the repairs can be authorized. To this date no inspector has inspected my vehicle and no one from any inspection company has contacted the repair shop to arrange inspection of the vehicle. 2 and 1/2 weeks have passed and I am without transportation because Delta Auto Protect is in breach of the agreement we have. Do not purchase this product as this Company has no intention of actually covering anything in the agreement.

    Updated on 01/21/2019: The company Delta Auto Protect took almost $2200 dollars from us for the purchase of this warranty contract. They honor nothing in the contract except taking your hard earn money and treating you like nothing. My truck has been in two different auto repair shops since October of 2018.

    Delta Auto Repair has made every single attempt possible not to pay for the repairs on the truck. They made us break open the transmission at our own expense and made multiple excuses after that as to what’s covered and what’s not covered. We are exhausted with this company’s rudeness lies and lack of respect for their customers' issues. Our truck is still sitting in the repair shop waiting on payment from the company for the past month.

    Every time you call someone give you another lie that the check is in the mail. They only paid for half of what’s wrong with the truck and we are stuck with a huge bill that clearly we are not responsible for as it’s covered in the contract. We are fed up and disgusted by this company. There should be someone out there willing to help innocent victims like our selves who fell into Delta's warranty lie. Someone should investigate and shut this company down. It’s horrible the way we are being treated and still can’t get our truck back. Very very unfair. Do not trust this company or buy their warranty product.

    Original Review: I bought an extended warranty from a company called Delta Auto Protect for my 2008 Range Rover truck. I paid the warranty company in full over 2 thousand dollars. I finally need to use it to cover the transmission and suspension that’s gone bad on the truck and the warranty company is refusing to pay for it. They are stating that the Range Rover dealership needs to break down the transmission and go inside of it to tell them exactly what’s wrong and they will let us know if that’s covered. That’s a bunch of crap because there’s no way the dealership is going to break open a transmission when they are able to do diagnostic testing to determine what they already know that the transmission is bad.

    The extended warranty company are refusing to listen to us or the dealership and being the rude horrible people they are with no customer service training are rudely telling us they will deny the claim if we don’t comply to breaking open the transmission at our own expense. We can not afford this nonsense they are saying and nowhere in their contract states we have to do this. It states what is covered and this includes everything that is currently wrong with the truck without breaking open anything. It’s very wrong that we are being bullied by a company that I trusted, paid in full and can not get anyone proper on the phone to work with us only very rude people who hang up when they feel like you aren’t worth speaking to. My hard earned money paid for this warranty. Now it seems like nothing to them!

    I bought the extended car Warranty but then when I read all the negative reviews I decided to cancel the next day. I never signed a contract with them but they are saying I need to sign a cancel contract form. Aaron ** said he would email me the form. Instead he emailed me a different contract with a lower amount. They make it impossible to get your money back. I talked to another guy and he told me he would send the cancellation form and he didn’t as well. After emailing them multiple times to cancel and calling them I am disputing it with my credit card.     Car maintenance is not my strong suit. My boyfriend generally takes care of such 'mundane' tasks, Lol. Anyhow, I had to move to Dallas work for about a year, naturally I drove my trusty little Nissan to Dallas from Houston and would visit some weekends and my dear boyfriend would check my car out every time I came around. Well, this fateful day, on my way back to Dallas, my boyfriend heard a suspicious sound and suggested I get it checked out at his mechanic's before heading but I had a work deadline and had to make it back to Dallas by the next morning so, I declined (bad idea).

I called the manufacturer and they were only too happy to tell me I was no longer under warranty. A couple of calls later and my car was in the process of being fixed, with Delta Auto Protect reassuring me that my they'd handle the rest and let me just tell you that they got my car up and running in a matter of days.     SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAMMM. I am the owner of a repair facility. We have had 2 customer's use this warranty. Claims are approved and NEVER paid. I call and I am constantly lied to over and over again. They say they never received the invoice for payment. I emailed and faxed it over at least 20 times. Then they say the check is in the mail. Then they say the payment will be sent over fax with a credit card payment by the end of the day. I am advising my customer's to get their money back for this so-called warranty. It is worthless.

    I have a 2013 Nissan Altima with 71K miles on it; I bought my warranty when the car had 62K miles on it. The sales team was very forceful and aggressive, stating if I don't purchase the warranty now the price will go up. Note: They knew I had a Nissan Altima. Well a year later my transmission (CVT) just ups and dies. The Nissan Dealership wanted $7000 to repair. So I have them call Delta Auto, and Nissan was informed a Tech would be out to look at the car. 15 minutes later Delta Auto called Nissan and said they don't fix CVT transmissions!

    I called Delta Auto and speak to Jerome who had to get his Manager's advice. They informed me they only replace Manual and Automatic Transmissions! Well the salesman who got my $1450 for the warranty never mentioned any CVT exclusions when he ran the VIN number. I was then told "Oh well if your engine ever goes out, we probably can fix it". My engine?!?! So now I'm stuck with a $7000 repair build. This is the WORSE company to buy a warranty from! Listen to me and stay, far, far away from these crooks.

    I'm having bad experience with this company. I Canceled policy within 30 days because didn't like their customer service, their promises and real facts were different. I waited 3 times by 2 weeks to receive a check that never been sent to me. They guarantee to return money within 30 days and now I'm passing 70 days and it's not sent.     I purchased the warranty from Rick **. Left out many details. I called in my claim Friday and it is one week later that I am carless. My dealership is still waiting for them to call with the update if they are approved to fix my car or not. I have had to call over and over for updates.     Do not just based on the "glowing" reviews on this website alone. This is a paid for service website to attract clueless victims to buy Detla's warranty services. Do your research elsewhere. There are many many horror stories from other sources which seem to be very legitimate and realistic now that I have experienced it first hand myself. Every time you call, Delta Auto will put you on hold for hours and hours. Then you are connected to the message center. The message center will give you all the runarounds in the book; leave a message, someone has your file history and we can't access it now to discuss your case, your case is under review, someone will contact you shortly.

    And no one, not even once, has ever called me back. While my car is waiting in the shop and it took 24 days for Delta Auto to finally sent somebody to inspect it. Then 13 more days later to finally received a short email notify me the claim was denied. Then keep calling nonstop for 3 days to finally received another email with the report on why it was denied. So for close to 2 months, I was out of a car and with so much aggravation to try to get to talk to someone with Delta Auto to find a resolution and at the end had to paid for everything out of pocket myself. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company like a plague.

    One of our loyal customers has purchased Delta Auto Protect as a warranty company. They are quick to answer the phone if you are trying to purchase the warranty but are very slow to send payment to the shop. Even slower to try and have a "Supervisor" call you back. I have left 7 messages and still no call. Currently we are in the 7th day of the customer not getting his car back due to non payment. Storage charges start today. And what do they cover? In this current situation, a Starter replacement for a BMW is $757.13. They will only pay $259.09. SAVE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BAD BUSINESS. If you are a shop, avoid the headache, avoid pissing off your customer because of the lack of service from this warranty company. Delta Auto Protect could learn from a real warranty company, Preferred Protection Plan, A Service Group Company.

    This is the absolute worst company to deal with if you work for a shop or are a shop owner. They NEVER return your calls, and take up to a month to send payment. This is the 4th time I have had to deal with them and it’s a nightmare trying to get payment for the customer to pick up their vehicle. You are always sent to the overflow call center, and they tell you someone will call you within 24 hours or less, IT’S A LIE. I’ve been calling for 7 days straight. Stay away... save yourself the headache.

    Updated on 10/18/2018: It took a bad review on this website for Delta to finally give me a callback. The representative told me he's been trying but unable to reach anyone. I checked our call logs, it's a lie. They never once reached out to us and I have documentation of emails and call logs if anyone in Delta would like to see. Anyways, they finally paid us after the review and my customer was unhappy but able to pick up his car after 7 days. I think Delta should review their communication and payment procedures to ensure this doesn't happen again. That was the 4th time, and actually the fastest I received payment... Unfortunately it took that review to get someone finally. I believe warranties are great for protection, just maybe a learning experience for this company to better themselves.

    Not too long ago I bought my car off of Facebook and it seemed to be in good working order with condition like new.     I am a believer in the Delta Auto Protect warranty plan. I was working five hundred miles from home. My battery completely died. It had to be replaced. I was in a very small town and it was a Sunday evening. I could not find any help so I call Delta Auto to use my warranty and in just a few minutes they let me know help was on the way.     I'm so glad to have decided to get Delta Auto Protect. One morning on the way to work my car kept overheating on me. When I got to work I gave them a call and they had my car towed to a shop that morning and a rental car there by the end of the day to pick me up. The shop fixed the problem with my car and all I had to do was pay my deductible. It saved me a lot on the cost of the repair. Thank you!

    I signed up for the Delta Auto Protect warranty when I bought myself a used car. When I ran out of gas on the busiest highway in Louisiana I called the company, spoke to Sarah and explained everything that happened. She assured me I would be covered and within 30 minutes Josh was out there with a gas can and came to my rescue. This is one company I do not regretting signing up with.     I am so glad I have a Delta policy. Recently, I experienced some car trouble and I contacted customer service at Delta Auto Protect for help to use my warranty. My car's electric power steering went out and I needed a tow to the local garage. Barbara was able to send out a service truck and she arranged for a rental car to use too. When my car was ready, all I had to do was pay my out of pocket deductible. I am definitely renewing my policy. Thanks Delta!

    After buying a 2012 vehicle I purchased an extended warranty with Delta Auto Protect. BEWARE they will not honor any sales they make. They DO NOT return phone calls or emails, and they will find every reason to not pay for your repairs. I have made over 20 phone calls and dozens of emails and have yet to even get calls back. When they finally sent an inspector to look at my car, they waited 3 days to respond to the repair company. First they denied my claim because they said I had an excluded transmission, I did not, I had to have the repair shop make multiple calls to prove this. Then they said my policy wasn't in effect, which it was and we have documentation to prove it. Now they state I purchased the car knowing it had a bad transmission. I have the Carfax report to prove this is not true. I have never dealt with customer service so bad in my life. This is 110% a scam. I hope no one else falls victim to this.

    When I was left without a car due to my transmission going out. I knew I was in for a painful payment that would cost me an arm and a leg. I remembered that I had bought an extended warranty policy through Delta Auto Protect, so I called for help. Their great customer service not only arranged for a tow truck to get my car to the shop, but also arranged for rental to drive while my car was getting fixed! DAP is great, they have great customer service and save everyone an arm and a leg with their protection!

    Purchased this so-called auto protection warranty from Aaron... Promised me everything and I paid $2,600 on his promise. After 2 yrs Delta has paid roughly $250 and only after numerous & continuous calls and arguments. They have denied everything... even a claim for my gas tank that wouldn't open electronically. They have now denied a Transmission Train component... Truck will not go into reverse... They denied it!!! How can you deny something to do with a Transmission!?! Have called numerous times to no avail. Left messages on every extension I could call, but no response at all.

    In regards to the tire warranty... sent them everything they requested to prove tire damage and it took nearly a year for them to send me $100 back because I refused to let it go... You can thank Aaron for all of this. Oh, and Delta will only answer the calls that come into the Sales Line. They ALL are thieves and I will make sure every website, BBB, District Atty of PA and anyone else willing to listen is aware of it... This is JUST the Beginning. You owe me $1,400 you JERKS... see you in Court, don't even care anymore!!! Rather spend the court costs just to see you COLLAPSE AND DESTROYED!!!

    I'm so happy that I decided to get Delta Auto Protect. Recently, it was late at night and my car decided to stall out on me. I was stuck on the side of the road and it was a chilly, dark, and not a person in sight stopped to ask if I needed any help. I quickly pulled out my cell phone and called Delta Auto Protect. The agent name Rose was so helpful. She sent out roadside assistance they came quickly. The service tech, Paul, said I was low on antifreeze, which caused my car to stall from being overheated. He added some and I was able to start back up. Thanks DAP!

    My car broke down on the freeway the other night, and I called Delta Auto Protect to have them take care of it. I explained that my engine seemed to be overheating and that the service engine light was illuminated. Linda gathered all of my information over the phone, and she made sure a tow truck was sent out immediately to my location. My car was towed to a local repair shop, and while it was being repaired, I was given a rental. Everything was so easy, and the only thing had to pay out-of-pocket was my deductible. Overall, I was more than satisfied with their fast service and affordable warranty. If you get a used car, I recommend Delta's extended warranty.

    This company promises everything until you actual need a repair. Took my SUV to the dealership for repair. Tried contacting them on several occasions while my vehicle was in the shop for repair. Delta told the dealership that they would have to send them the part (like the dealership doesn't know what part they need for the repair). That was about 6 days ago. I guess Delta knows what part is required better than the dealership, NOT they sent the wrong part. Instead of an alternator they sent a pulley (not much of difference LOL). Tried to contact Delta. They said that they will return my calls. No one called back. Tried to email them that was 2 days ago, no response. My advise if you are looking for an extended warranty for your vehicle try someone other than this company.

    Why do I have to leave 5 stars? This is the best company ever. I was on highway and my car just died while I was driving. I made it to the shoulder and I called Delta for help. The arranged for a tow truck to come and assist. He was able to jump my car and off I went. The roadside service is great! I really appreciate their service and absolutely recommend Delta Auto Protect to car owners.
