About Delta Auto Protect

As of 2/17/21, Delta Auto Protect has removed most features from its website and is not offering a way to purchase plans. The company states on its website that it is working with a limited number of employees due to ongoing issues with COVID-19.

    Pros & Cons

    Pros

    • Offers price matching
    • Direct provider
    • Covers vehicles up to 20 years old
    • Affordable plans

    Cons

    • Inconvenient quote process
    • Doesn't cover high-mileage vehicles

    Bottom Line

Delta Auto Protect's extended auto warranties are among the most affordable you can find, especially because they price-match. Although the quote process is a little inconvenient, it's hard to find a better extended auto warranty.

If I could give zero stars I would. So quick to take your money, yet HORRID in issuing refund for unused policy. I have been waiting 6 months for my refund of $685 for a car that I sold in JULY. Suffice to say, hours of wasted time on hold and when I do get a fast talking slick representative, I get the runaround and appeased being hearing "the check will be processed". I have warned them via email and phone messages for the last month that I will take legal action and post a review and they just don't care. PLEASE go elsewhere unless you enjoy waiting on hold listening to terrible music and then getting the runaround and most of all NOT GETTING PAID. Good luck if you use them. P.S. I had a claim on another policy and my BMW service center gave up on getting an authorization as no one ever answers the phone and I had to pay out of pocket.

I purchased a Diamond Premier Delta Auto Protect Warranty in 7/26/17 for $1,800! My first claim was on 11-25-19, when my wife took the car into dealership for a Blower Motor Repair on AC System. Delta Auto Protect requested for the full service history of my used car in addition to the estimate. On 11-25-19, My Dealership sent them the estimate and I sent them details of the whole service history since I received the car. I use the Autosist App and I keep detailed records in addition to shop receipts. On 12-02-19, I also sent them the dealership estimate in addition to resending details of the whole service history. I then called Delta Auto Warranty said that they were still reviewing the claim. I was informed that they had all the paperwork

On 12-03-19, I called again and Aaron told me that they are still waiting for paperwork. I asked him how come I was told that all paperwork was received by them on a previous call. Then he switched to the run around again saying that it was under review. I asked for his specific Email so that I could send him the documents and get a paper trail (their website does not show you what has been uploaded). I was put on hold. I sent the Email. Aaron comes back and says that the dealership “Handwritten Estimate” on the Dealership Paperwork/Estimate Form will not do. It now needs to be typed up.

So far waiting for a week to get a claim approved or even reviewed. It is a good thing that the car is driveable. What happens when the car breaks down completely??? I guess they figure you will give in and pay out of pocket and they will say that you did not get the claim approved. I think this company is a SCAM. Stay away. If I do not get closure, the Better Business Bureau and Small Claims Court is next. I will update this post if things change....

My vehicle "oil pressure low" light came on and I turned it off and called Delta and they said to have it towed to a garage of my choice as long as they were ASE certified. I took it to my dealer who said they hadn't worked with Delta before, but if they were like other extended warranty company, it should be no problem. I later was told by Delta to read my contract where they don't have to approve any work if I didn't have the appropriate maintenance records. I told them that I bought the vehicle used and that the factory warranty had already expired and that I do all the oil changes and maintenance my self. They told me if I wasn't ASE certified that they had no way of telling whether or not the vehicle was maintained properly.

Then Katie ** told me to just get the CARFAX on the vehicle. I did, and it cost me 39.99 and when I called them to tell them that I was faxing the report to them. I then told her that I would cancel my two vehicles' coverage and that I expected a full refund. She then put me on hold. Amos ** then got on the line and told me that they don't accept CARFAX reports because it doesn't tell them what SAE of oil was used or if the proper oil filter was used. Whether or not the tires had been properly rotated? Then he said that I was a "buffoon" for doing all that work myself. When I asked for his boss, he said that the only people above him were the owners of the company.

They had offered me, as a courtesy, $200.00 towards a nearly $1400.00 bill for the work that needed to be performed. When I told him that I would like for them to pay at least half of the bill or I would have to contact a lawyer and write various consumer protection agencies. He then said, "Well if you're going to sue us, then I'll take the $200.00 offer off the table." He then said that he was the last and highest I could go in their corporate ladder. I then said, "Okay, just send me the 200" and hung up.

WARNING! DELTA AUTO PROTECT EXTENDED SERVICE PROGRAMS. If you decide to purchase an Extended Service Program for your automobile you may want to read this further. I purchased an Extended Service Program back on 01/15/2017 for my 2011 Corvette from Sean ** (866-598-5429 **) at Delta Auto Protect. It was the Diamond Premier plan and would cover the vehicle for 80,000 or 8 years. I have since had the following experiences through July 31, 2019 using the Extended Service Program from Delta Auto Protect:

    1) I received a voucher from Delta Auto Protect regarding Car Wash Promo. I was to be reimbursed for all car washes completed within 365 days of ESP activation date. On 02/13/17 I submitted a receipt for $22.46 along with the Car Wash Promo Reimbursement Form. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY REIMBURSEMENT ON ANY CAR WASHES, EVER!!!

    2) I have had to repair the rear bearing on the passenger side of the car in February 2018. After taking it to an authorized repair shop, Delta Auto Protect authorized the repair and provided the shop with an authorization number. 3 weeks after I get the car back, the repair shop calls me to call Delta Auto Protect to see why they haven’t been paid. I called the Delta Auto Protect number 866-598-5429, spoke to their Customer Service Representative (CSR) and they couldn’t handle anything and was transferred to the reimbursement group. They finally issued a check to the Repair Shop. I called the Repair Shop and gave the information the check is coming. Luckily it did.

    3) On 05/23/2019 my car decided to not shift from park to any gear. The shift linkage part broke. A common problem for the C6 Corvette. I called Delta Auto Protect at 866-598-5429 at 13:50 and spoke to David. He recommended I take it to an Authorized Service Center. I asked if a Chevrolet Dealership is authorized. He stated yes. I took it to Sunset Chevrolet. They fixed it but I had to pay the $632.93 bill. I asked why. Tito, the Service Rep at the Dealership, told me that Delta Auto Protect DOES NOT REIMBURSE THE REPAIR WORK VIA CREDIT CARDS. THEY REIMBURSE BY CHECK IF THEY EVER REIMBURSE and Sunset Chevrolet hasn’t had positive business experiences in doing business like this.

So, I pay the bill and submit the original receipts for towing ($135) and repair $632.93 to Delta Auto Protect via Registered Mail/Return Receipt Requested. Delta Auto Protect received the letter and the enclosed receipts on June 03, 2019. Kelley ** from Delta Auto Protect signed for it. I called Delta Auto Protect (866-598-5429) on June 20, 2019 @ 13:37 and spoke to Jay after a 4 minute hold. I asked the status of the claim. Jay stated “the receipts haven’t been uploaded as of yet”.

It’s almost 3 weeks since they received and no activity. Jay went to get someone from the Mail Dept for a status. Placed on hold for a few minutes. Jay came back on and stated they will have to call me back. I asked how long. They stated 1 day. Jay stated he will call me back and give me a status. I verified the number for him to call me back on knowing full well Jay will not call me back. Jay did state “This should have been processed by now”. Call was over in 7 minutes.

I never received call, so I called back (866-598-5429) on Tuesday June 06, 2019 at 3:15pm (5 days later). After waiting on the call for 22 minutes for a Representative to come on the line. I spoke to a lady who asked for a claim number. I told her I didn’t have one. I did inform her that I spoke to Marie on 05/23/2019 and I asked for a purchase number, claim number or case number and Marie (Delta Auto Protect Customer Service Rep) told me I didn’t need one. This new rep assigned me a Claim # ** and then told me to submit the claim via email to claimscenter@deltautoprotect.com.

I asked why do I have to email it when the contract states to mail it to: Delta Auto Protect 1800 John F Kennedy Blvd. Suite 300 Philadelphia, Pa 19103 which I already did May 29, 2019 and they received on June 03, 2019 signed as received by Kelley **? I then asked for a supervisor. I was transferred to Stanley ** and Julian (Supervisor, allegedly). I asked for a status. They acknowledge they have it and that they will cut the check within 7-10 business days and I will have the check 5 business later.

On Wednesday October 02, 2019 @ 2:15pm I called Delta Auto Protect @ 866-598-5429, selected option 2 for Question. I was on hold for 12 minutes and 40 seconds a Delta Auto Protect Customer Service Rep (female) picked up and hung up on me. I called Delta Auto Protect back on 866-598-5429 at 2:32pm and selected option 3 for status. After a 11 minute and 30 second hold I spoke to Jessica. She stated I needed to get an odometer reading and a notarized letter asking for a refund. This letter is now to be sent to a new address. The new address is: Delta Auto Protect 600 Eagle View Blvd. Suite 300 Exton, Pa 19341.

I asked since when and where is this published and why wasn’t I notified of the contract change since the contract states to mail it to: Delta Auto Protect 1800 John F Kennedy Blvd. Suite 300 Philadelphia, Pa 19103. And there is no mention of anything getting notarized. She just repeated herself and I agreed to send the information NOTARIZED as she requested. Now you know it and I know it that Jessica is lying to me but I’ll play along. Jessica at Delta Auto Protect is a sorry excuse for a human being and the world now knows it!!

So, on 10/02/2019 I sent the following package: 1) Notarized Letter. 2) A copy of the initial request (letter). 3) A picture of the odometer reading. The package was sent via the United States Postal Service, Registered Mail, Return Receipt requested. I have the receipt from USPS that they received it and will send it. We will see when Delta Auto Protect receives it.

Guess what? I receive a called from Delta Auto Protect on 10/02/2019, right after I mailed the package to them, from the following number 831-210-9429 (spoofed number?). The Rep from Delta Auto Protect identified herself as Katie and get this, Katie stated the Delta Auto Protect (they) are waiving the requirement for the notarized letter and I should have a refund in 30 to 60 days. Well, this prove Jessica at Delta Auto Protect is a sorry excuse for a human being and an outright liar.

10/14/2019 I receive from the United States Postal Service the return receipt request from the mailing on 10/02/2019. The Delta Auto Protect location at 600 Eagle View Blvd in Exton, Pa 19341 received the package on 10/07/2019. Kenane(sp) ** signed for the package. Apparently, Kenane(sp) printing and penmanship in grade school because it both are illeligible.

10/30/2019 09:19 am I called Delta Auto Protect at 813-210-9429 (probably a spoofed number) and 2 minutes later Marie ** answered. I asked for Katie and Marie informed me Katie is not in. I provided Marie with the ESP number and asked for a status of the refund. Marie states that she sees a note that Delta Auto Protect waived the notarized letter requirement and that I should be receiving a check either the first week or the second week of November. I asked if she could provide the prorated amount since they have had six (6) weeks to process the request. She (Marie) was not able to provide that information. Sunday 11/17/2019 6:30 pm No word from Delta Auto Protect and no check in the mail. I’ll have to call Delta Auto Protect and get a status tomorrow Monday 10/18/2019.

We had a very easy claim for a water pump problem I thought. But after over 10 phone calls and now 6 months we still have not received our check for repair. This is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. We were told on 4 different calls that the check has been approved and mailed. Just give it a few more days. Last one was on 10/4/19 the customer rep said give it 5-7 days. Now as of 11/17/19 still no check. Deception and smoke and mirrors is how this company operates. If you call to get a new policy you will get someone on the phone immediately bending over backwards to get your business. After that 15-20 mins to get anyone on the phone and no help. Very dissatisfied and want my original fee of $1469 returned.

This company is a scam, would give zero stars, they take your money and give you stupid reasons to deny coverage-I had an oil leak and provided all maintenance record required by Mercedes. They denied it because they said during my services I hadn't flushed the transmission-which had not been required or rotate the tires-my tires are different sizes in front and rear. And neither of these had anything to do with repair.

I have waited 3 months without a vehicle. Thank god I have a work truck to get to work. I have been made to file 2 claims for the same incident. I was denied the cost of the manufacturer dealership. On the second claim I was denied the claim, calling it “basically cosmetic” when it’s now compromised.

I purchased a Auto Warranty for my 2013 Range Rover Evoque. $2560 is the price I paid. The first claims were denied, Not covered! Then my turbo went out and they asked for all sorts of maintenance reports and the dealer would not accept their assignment of payment (Not Replicable). I had to pay for the repair then be reimbursed. The repair was in May 2019, I paid over $3000.00 with an additional fee for the rental car which they did not cover. On July 2, 2019, the claim was finally approved for $2260.78. Today is November 4, 2019 and I HAVE NOT BEEN REIMBURSED! They just continue to tell me Lie after Lie. It was mailed before Memorial Day, then before Halloween 10/4/19 and 10/29/19 with check Number 8787. Now by the end of the month (November).

There was a system update and it also was sent back. Just all sorts of lies and excuses. The Employees are trained to lie and the Manager/Supervisor tell even more lies. I want my money back and I want it ASAP! I am going to go after a class action lawsuit and every entity that endorsed this company will be liable. I am requesting you get involved and demand my refund immediately! Next day mail with a tracking number!!!! This is a very serious issue for the endorsement of a company that is a complete Fraudulent Warranty Company (DELTA AUTO PROTECT). Please post your experiences and help take down this fake company! Elderly, Disabled, Retired and Good American Citizens are being Robbed by this Company! Thank You **.

Delta took my car when almost majority of the companies refused to accept my car because it was high on mileage and was an old model. Delta not only gave me positive response but offered me a deal that suited my car. It provided for coverage of 120,000 miles for 3 years. 1 year has already passed and I have filed 4 claims so far. They all were approved without bumps and hiccups. I am sticking with this company as long as I have a car.

I had a policy with them. Cancelled sold the vehicle and was supposed to get a pro rated refund and never received. Horrible customer service. Very rude people. I have had to call several times and get a different answer each time. I do not recommend them at all and will not use them again.

The warranty contract I purchased was for the 2011 Ford Edge Limited 2 years ago and I am very satisfied with my deal so far. Recently I went for the heated seats that were not working. The dealer told me it was due to the bad HVAC control module. The rep told me the company is responsible for all the coverage so I took a sigh of relief and left my car there. I had a car rental facility from Delta and I could not thank enough for having this company on my car’s back.

On 9/10/19 my service provider determined that the alternator needed to be replaced in my 2003 Porsche Turbo and estimate was sent to Delta for authorization to replace the alternator and received promptly. The work was completed on 9/20/19 and the invoice was faxed to Delta. On 10/4/19 I called Delta and inquired about the status of the claim and was told that they never got the invoice from the provider. Per the instructions of the claim personnel I posted the invoice to the claim file and emailed the invoice along with the contract number, the authorization number and the claims number.

About 10 day later I called again about the status of the claim and was told that they never got the information yet they confirmed they got my email and it was posted to my claim file but the invoice did not have the claim number on it. Additionally they shorted the repair facility an hour of service time as the book they use shows the time needed is 1.5 hours not 2.5 hours. This is a Porsche Turbo and requires additional parts to be removed to replace the alternator. The book used does not show a Turbo just a 2003 Porsche. I have been calling almost daily since 10/22 to resolve this problem and was informed that Delta just got the invoice on 10/22. I have left numerous messages for finance to call me about when my service facility will be paid and as of 10/24 I still have not gotten an answer.

I have been looking at the best warranty company for several months across a variety of warranty companies and narrowed it down to a few top choices. I decided to take the benefit of the July discount deals and signed up with the selected companies. The sales rep at Delta was pleasant and not pushy at all despite the busy weekend. The plan they offered me suited me best and was according to my desires and budget. Buying a warranty is not an easy job but the rep managed everything professionally and satisfied me. He made my day and it turned out to be the great choice. I would definitely recommend my friends and family members to buy warranty for vehicles from Delta Auto Protect.

This company conned my parents into purchasing a $1400.00 warranty for their Acadia. After approximately 9 months of coverage they had an issue with one of the covered components. First, Delta denied covering the component stating that it was an excluded item, we then submitted their own contract to them, with this component clearly defined as "covered". Delta then authorized the repair, but 7 months later has yet to actually pay the dealer for the work, or parts. The The dealer has called on a weekly basis, and we have all called several times to find out where the payment is. Below is a list of the excuses Delta has given for non-payment:

    - Payment request form not filled out properly
    - Invalid address
    - Returned Damaged check
    - Cannot located company credit card for payment (Deltas own credit card)
    - Credit card payments are made at the end of the month
    - Accounting department on vacation, call back next week
    - Check to be mailed out today, call back next week

    - Check was returned, reason: unknown

We are now banned from the GMC dealer in our area, and are out $1400.00. If there is an open class action lawsuit against them, I'd love to join.

I have had great working experience with the Delta Auto Protect. The sales process was easy and coverage was great. My car was diagnosed before finalizing the contract for any pre-existing issue. After 7 months into buying the contract I had to file my first claim for the oil leakage and engine heating issue. I dropped the car to the repair center and picked up after 6 days. It was easy and efficient.

Delta is the best company to do business with. I am sticking with this company for 3 years despite the pressure of other companies who are always trying to drag me towards them. No high pressure by the reps at the time of buying and it is always a pleasure to work with them. I have premier plan that offers bumper to bumper coverage and is very comprehensive. I would definitely recommend it to the others.

I filed claim for the transmission of my 2014 Jaguar. The rep seemed to be on training because he handled the case very unprofessionally. He just noted my contract number and hung up saying he would get back to me after 5 minutes. But I waited for half an hour but no response. I called again but this line the rep who responded me was a gem. He was polite and cooperative. He approved the claim and instructed me to take my car to the certified dealer and told me he would take care of the rest. He proved his words and I did not face any issue after that. I think it’s your luck that you get on the phone when you call. A good rep would relieve your worry and would give you peace of mind. And an untrained rep would piss you off.

AVOID THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! They make you jump through so many hoops before even attempting to approve a claim, and then when they do, they have to send a physical check from their home office to your auto repair/dealer. In most cases they won't begin work on your car until they receive payment since 99% of dealers know this company is a total scam artist and joke.

We waited over a week for approval of our claim. Ran up a $665 rental bill, which don't even think they will reimburse, because they won't, and then when they finally approved the claim, they covered HALF of the repair estimate. The dealer would not wait for payment so I had to cover the whole bill myself, over $2500! Now I am waiting from Delta to reimburse me. It's been a week and a half and even though we have faxed and emailed the invoice, every time we call and wait on hold 20+ minutes, the answer is the same, "We have no received it." AVOID THIS COMPANY! How they are allowed to remain in business is beyond me!

I do not write reviews usually but when I do it is mostly for complaining about the bad services or products. But Delta has compelled me to write a positive review. I purchased a premier plan 6 months ago and it was an amazing experience. The rep guided me well and I landed a plan that was most appropriate for the make and model of my car. When I filed claim I was skeptical also its services and hoping a rejection payment from my pocket as I heard about other but nothing such happened. I could not be happier.

2012 Mitsubishi is the first car that I managed to buy after 12 years of savings. So it is quite natural that I love this car and is very conscious about its road performance. I purchased it from a colleague and it is in the best forever. So, I purchased an extended warranty from Delta Auto Protect. Buying process was easy and transparent. When I filed first claim I called the rep and he responded real quick. He guided me about the entire process. It was easy to coordinate with the dealer and my car was approved within minutes. Delta is great.

I bought a $2000 warranty for my Range Rover and when it came time to use the warranty they declined it because I had custom wheels on it. Yet, after I was told that I called to get a quote and told the person I had aftermarket wheels and I am always told no problem. Was told numerous times they would refund me and I am still waiting on the refund. Tried to contact them through the BBB and they are not accredited and don't respond to them either. So not only did they not help fix the car they stole my money and won't call me back. BEWARE!!!!

Delta says they can't seem to find an inspector to send to review the request to repair my car, even though I have their most high level of coverage. People on the phone are not knowledgable and feed me to voice mail when I ask for their management. It has been over a month. Many many calls with no satisfaction. Mustang needs rear end work done. These guys have taken their 2500 and no not providing service.

My first experience with Delta has been great, the staff is awesome and helpful, they explained really well what I was purchasing and how I am going to file the claim when it needs to be, the most convenient thing for me is my payment plan, as I broke down my payment in to 4 halves, as I could not pay lump sum and they agreed to it. Purchased a customized diamond plan that covers all the major parts of the car. I could not be more happier.

My truck broke down nearby a mechanic shop. I was lucky enough to stop by a mechanic and after checking, the mechanic told me that there was a fault in the engine. I immediately called Delta and told the rep that my vehicle's engine is faulty. Left the car to the mechanic and went to the office of Delta. They filed my claim and after a week, got my truck back. Then after a week or so, they refunded my 780 bucks, Really appreciatable.

I purchased an extended warranty from Delta 2 years ago and filed a claim for the 2012 ML 350. Two months after buying the warranty the accelerator or a pedal sensor of the car got shot and I filed the claim. I was relieved that I got it covered. I called Delta and requested them to have it towed to the repair center because it lost all the power. They told me they will get back to me after a couple of minutes. But I had to wait for an hour. The car was towed and repaired. But next month I noticed $ 120 were deducted By Delta instead of $ 100. I called them to ask why this happened and they told me it was for towing services. I told them my plan covers towing as free service and fax them a copy of my contract. They apologized and promised to rectify the mistake and they did it after 1 week.

I had a car warranty that went off, so I looked into acquiring another one. I called Delta Auto Protect, and got everything over the phone. Their representative answered all my questions and told me what he could offer, what the price was and what the payments were going to be. The cost for their warranty was good, and it met my budget. So far, it has been a great experience.

I work for an automotive repair facility in Arizona, and I deal with extended warranties all day long and these guys are the worst. Customer has had this vehicle in our shop for 8 days now and still nothing from these guys. Every time I call back to check status all they tell me is we will call you in 24-48 hours. 8 DAYS REALLY? DO NOT BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY. TRUST ME. I AM IN THE INDUSTRY. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!

Claim # **. I have had a Delta Auto Protect Diamond Premier warranty plan since 05/30/2017. My ESP# ** (Delta Auto Protect Account). On 09/04/2019, I took my vehicle in for inspection at Mercedes Benz of Encino because I was having issues with my turn signal and my car was vibrating. I felt it was a safety issue so I took my vehicle in immediately to have it looked at. After Kevin ** (service representative) diagnosed the vehicle he immediately informed me that the motor mounts and turn signal switch needed to be replaced. He submitted the diagnosis to Delta Auto Protect and tried to contact Delta Auto Protect for multiple days but was not able to get in contact with them to get authorization for the repairs. Then he reached out to me and asked me to call them because he had no luck.

I called Delta Auto Protect they told me they were not authorizing anything because they needed my service records. They said they sent me an email requesting the documents but that was not true. I checked my email and junk mail and there was no email from them. Finally, they sent the email when I was on the phone with them and I sent them the service records. Then days later and multiple calls from me later they finally got in touch with Kevin ** and told him they are approving the motor mount replacement but not the turn signal switch. I called Delta Auto protect and spoke to Aaron (supervisor) and told him when I originally purchased the warranty plan, Shaun ** with Delta Auto Protect told me all electrical components and switches are covered on the Diamond Premier plan and that they have the same contract as the extended warranty that is directly through Mercedes Benz.

I purchased the Delta Auto Protect plan based on the claim Delta Auto Protect made about all parts of my vehicle being covered except for regular scheduled maintenance. Now Aaron is telling me that my Turn Signal switch is not covered. Delta Auto Protect has lied to me to just sell me a contract and having read other peoples reviews online, they have done the same to others. I have been on top of this claim for over 2 weeks and my vehicle is still in the shop and I am without a vehicle. I have 3 kids and I can not get my car fixed to go back to my normal life again. Shame on Delta Auto Protect for taking advantage of people. They are liars and I believe they intentionally work slow so customers can give up and they don’t pay claims. I am also seeing my attorney today and I am going to work on pursuing them legally so this does not happen to anyone else.

Two years ago we bought an Auto Extended Warranty Plan (ESP # **) from Delta Auto protect for ONE TIME PAYMENT OF $1500. Two years into the contract, car got totaled in mid July this year and now it's been almost 3 months since we cancelled the auto warranty plan but never received any refund. The accident alone was devastating and since then we have provided Delta Auto Protect all the required documentation like Odometer readings at the time of accident, Allstate Claim number, Pictures even and a notarized letter requesting prorated refund but NO RESPONSE YET.

Delta Auto Protect is one of the biggest scams I have ever dealt with. I have had numerous repairs come up for my vehicle over the past two years, costing me over $8000, of which Delta has paid about $300. Every time something comes up, they find a reason to attribute it to something that is not covered under their warranty. When purchasing the warranty, I was told everything would be covered over the phone, now that I have actually filed a few claims, it seems like there are more items excluded from coverage than are actually covered.

After choosing a car for my wife I began looking for the extended warranty that fits my total budget. I found Delta with most affordable offers and could not find any bad reviews about the company. Most of the companies that I searched had higher prices with less coverage and also bad reviews about customer services. So I decided to go with Delta. The rep quoted me a total price of $ 3000 for 7 years for bumper-to-bumper coverage. The car had covered 50,000 miles already so we got it covered for further 200,000 miles. This was the best deal for us and quite affordable. Cheers to you Delta for providing such a great deal.

The factory warranty on my Cadillac expired and I was in dire need of buying extended warranty so that if something goes wrong in my car it is covered by the warranty contract. Delta was recommended to me by my friend who purchased a plan from Delta 5 months ago and he was very satisfied with that. I was skeptical about the company because the rates were lower than other competitors but the coverage was more. But when I filed my first claim it went like a breeze. I was not expecting such a great customer service that to at the midnight. I called them at midnight that my car got jammed completely at the highway and they sent the assistance right away. I would recommend this company to the world.

START: charged $1725.00 for policy. #2: contract with mistakes. #3: contract with mistakes. #4: No contract received. #5: Nov. 2018 -- Sept. 2019--- No answer to calls/reply to letters. LOST $1,725.00 forever. #6: Decided to call on weekend (1-866-598-5429) to check and see response to problem. Reached answering service informing that no one would be available until Monday of next week. Certainly no 24-7. #7: Would seek Fraud, etc. but my time is being spent with my company in Clearwater Fl. and wife who has cancer and is 600 miles away. ALL of this is the honest truth.

Too bad there are people & companies that exist, only to cheat and steal, even accomplish this Nationwide. Go figure. Enough said: I AM BEYOND ANGRY but resentment kills. GOD watches all of us and what goes around, comes around. Good luck to all. I have no "profanity, threats, or personal insults as you list in your requirements. I bought this contract and when I went to use it they dragged their feet for three weeks claiming, falsely, that they were sending an inspector. At that point, three weeks without a car, I cancelled the contract. Two months later they sent me a refund charging me $250 for opening the contract, plus another $25 to cancel, plus the pro-rated charge for the 5 months I was under contract. They are an extremely shady company and, obviously, have no plans to actually pay anything out. They figure they can just keep delaying, until their client cancels the contract and they make hundreds of dollars for doing nothing. STAY AWAY!!!!

Hello, my name is Sally. I am a real customer of DAP. My member number is # **. I purchased a Delta Auto Protect Car Warranty for my well kept used car for $1326 in April 2019. Paid cash. Never got a welcome pack or anything. Once I had a problems with my car the agent was making me fill out a form and signing online. I asked what this was and she told me it was your original paperwork that should have been done Day one. So they took my money and ran with it. On their website ConsumerAffairs.com is listed as highly recommending this company.

I would like to inform you that they have scammed hundreds of people out of their money and don’t ever help with their car repairs, never answer calls or tell lies that claims are under review and nothing is done. Some people have claimed they approve the repairs and then never pay and then customer ends up having to pay to get their car back. Better Business Bureau has reports has hundreds of fraudulent claims listed. My car dealership has had my car waiting for them to approve a claim that was put in 2 weeks ago. The dealership is lost as to how to deal with them. They have lied, not returned calls. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit against this company for fraud and with my credit card company.

This is an outright fraudulent company with zero customer service or downright rude CS agents. My car broke down due to a timing chain issue 2 months after I bought their warranty and their inspector mysteriously classified it as a pre existing issue based on no evidence being shared with me. Numerous other complaints online are similar to mine. They told me there's no appeals or redressal process. I'm filling a small claims civil suit. Do not buy this worthless warranty.

Delta Auto Protect is good. I am with this company from 4 years now and I think that my review would reflect the best picture. I won't say it's excellent but this company is far better from other companies. The best thing is that they are not charging extra money and they always try their their level best not to reject the claim. I had previously filed 3 claims and my car got repaired. The payment is issued within 24 hours time period. So, overall my experience with Delta is Good.

I work for an auto dealership that accepted Delta Auto from a customer. This is a customer we have had for a long time and have developed a good relationship. We called Delta and got an approval for the repair. We repaired the customer's car and let them leave while we waited for payment. This was in March 2019. After many calls and promises that the check was in the mail, we are still waiting on payment. This is totally unacceptable! If you look at their reviews on Yelp you will see the true story on this scammer company. Now we have to try and get our customer to pay the bill while not damaging the relationship we have built by having good customer service. We care about our customers and we hope our experience can keep someone from buying any product from DELTA AUTO PROTECT. Stay FAR away from this company!!!

I am satisfied as the staff at Delta is very much professional. It's been a year now that I have purchased the Diamond Plus plan and I am happy that I haven't filed a claim yet. But I know that I am going to get good service from Delta Auto Protect when the time comes. So, I would definitely give Delta a 3 star for their quick response to queries and professional attitude.

8/28/19 I had a check engine light come on after 6 months of owning my BMW-X-5-M. Mint CONDITION CAR IN EVERY WAY. I brought it into a BMW dealership service center and was told it needed some work done on it. Delta "after 10 days" and me having to supply all paper work on the car DECLINED ALL work!!! This is who they are. They want your money but will NOT pay for anything that needs to be done on your car!! I spoke with Aaron who is a supervisor for Delta, the man did not care at all about me or my claim. Bottom line is, if you buy anything from this Company you're a fool....

I have worked with several service contract companies and this one is the absolute worst that I have seen in 20 years. You cannot get them on the phone, they do not cover what they say they will, I have been waiting for a check on a pre-authorized claim for over a month. You cannot call into the accounting dept because they are too busy and do not have an line to call in on, however, they are closed on Fridays. If you're lucky enough to get a person, they will hang up on you and you cannot get any direct call back extensions. Very, Very Shady!!

Bought their product paid in full. I told him was Carvana but and I had 7 days to give back car. Was told no worries, immediate refund if so. Gave car back. Called, Faxed an emailed cancel, THEY WANT 60 BUSINESS DAYS TO REFUND. Are you kidding me? Day 2 of contract, 30 day cancel for any reason. Haven't even activated contract because I did not send in Odometer picture. No longer have car. And by the way Aaron did everything but let me cancel, offered discount, longer years, DUDE I DON'T HAVE A CAR TO COVER.

Read BBB. They are a F rating with over 250 complaints this year. MOSTLY OVER NOT PAYING vendors or customers after cancellation. Read their F rating at BBB. Or their Yelp rating. Or Trust Pilot. Extended contract companies sometime get complaints because folks don't understand what they are buying. DELTA GETS COMPLAINTS BECAUSE THEY DON'T PAY VENDORS AND DON'T PAY CONTRACT REFUNDS.

This company is a bait and switch organization. Every claim I have had is a fight for payment. Approval time has been up to one month and then payment another 1-2 weeks, holding vehicles hostage while they "review" claims. On several claims they stated they never received the documentation, but it was sent on several occasions from both the repair shop and myself. They have lost reimbursement documentation. I am very disappointed in the product. The sales agents sell a great product but the service and claims processing doesn't support the sales pitch. My recommendation is to pay a little extra to get the service you deserve. This company is the typical "you get what you pay for". Don't get coerced by the charismatic sales agent.

This is the absolute worst company. I have been waiting for a check almost ONE YEAR for $585.89 on claim ** that was approved. I am lied to by Aaron and Ryan telling me the check was mailed, then told it will be and to wait a week or perhaps up to a month to get it in the mail. It never ever comes. I call back, hold times in excess of 20 minutes only for Jessica or Nicole to tell me Ryan and Aaron are too busy and have to call me back which NEVER happens. I email, call, repeatedly and am given false promises and lied to. I have given them almost a year before I wrote this review in hopes they would perform but clearly as of 8-20-19 it's been 9 months. I'm still waiting for the check and for Ryan or Aaron to call me back. IF they ever do perform I will be sure to write another review here and let you all know.

Purchased the full coverage "Diamond Premier". They do not cover anything in full. Any claim is only authorized a part of the full value for any item. I have tried mom and pop shops and I have tried the dealer. The same result each time, with me paying 40% of the covered item out of pocket. Trying to get in touch with anyone in the claims department to get a response has been non-responsive. Unless you want to sit on hold for a couple of hours. This has been a very painful experience.

Be that as it may, I called some different companies and Delta Auto Protect had the most attractive rates and the best coverage. Their reps were exceptionally awesome and answered to the inquiries that I needed to pose, which wasn't too much, yet I feel guaranteed that if and when I ever need it, I'll be extremely satisfied with the service. I'm happy I have Delta Auto Protect.

I had insured a BMW 535i with them. They declined every single repair, and then as a way to prevent me from cancelling insurance, offered a customary 200 and when I cancelled, made me fill some forms. The forms entitled me to receive a refund within 60 days around May 15. It's August 15 today, and after some recorded 20 calls, and few emails, the company continues to give dodgy answers to avoid refunding money which they are contractually obligated to. Highly recommended to avoid buying insurance from this company, spend the money on yourself and keep it in a rainy day fund for the car. If someone is looking for a recommendation use Warranty Direct which has a fabulous service but unfortunately no longer serves customers in California. It maybe a good option for folks outside California.

I have had a great experience with Delta. I had filed claim to fix my car for multiple times and I did not know what parts are covered and what not but they repaired them anyway. I found the process a little complicated because of the adjuster but later I realized it was my fault as I did not read the contract docs thoroughly. They called back to follow up after the repair was done every time to know if everything went well.

On March 21, 2018, I purchased an auto protection policy for 2 vehicles. In December, 2018 when I tried to use it I was told the policy does not cover modified vehicles and my $3,100 would be refunded. On 3/15/19, 3/27/19, 4/15/19, 4/29/19 and 5/1/19 I spoke with different people who did not seem to know the person I spoke to on a previous call. But each time I was assured that the refund was being processed and I would receive a check for $3,100. I did speak to Nicole 2 times and the second time she told me I was in a queue for my check to be processed on May 26, 2019. Well it is August 14 and I still do not have a refund.

Buying a new one is not an option right now, but it's starting to show its age so following the recommendation of my father-in-law, I had it covered with an extended warranty plan from Delta. It's already paying off, with the crankshaft sensor issue it started having yesterday, Called Delta, they said it's covered, so today I took my car to the shop. Pretty cool!

5-star service and 10-star customer support and claims reps. By far one of the nicest experiences I've had with any kind of service provider, your guys remind me of large companies with awesome customer service.

I was really angry initially because you delayed payment on one of my claims and sent someone "on location" to double-check the work done by the shop. I thought you were just trying to delay the whole thing, but it turns out you were right to be suspicious, as the guy replaced my part with a used one, instead of the new one it had billed you guys. Not sure how you figured that out, but I'm glad you did.

I like simple and easy things, anything too complicated makes me lose my patience very quickly. I had this issue over and over before with the company I used to have coverage with, so eventually, I gave up on them. Since I moved to Delta, it's been much better, everything is streamlined to just work. I don't regret the move at all.

I have been their customer for the past 3 years. I paid a multi-year premium at the beginning, so I had a pretty good discount for paying in full. Since then, I've only had to call them once, for an exploded expansion bowl. They were very quick to take care of everything with the repair shop, so today I give them 5 stars.

I have been their customer since '16 and they have never let me down. Every claim I had was covered, I only pay fractions of the total cost, as per the contractual agreement, and I am yet to have that streak of bad luck, as I see some of the people here have. For me it was all smooth sailing.

It never occurred to me in the past how important it is to have your car covered by some form of insurance or warranty. I had to get to the point where I paid $3,500 for a repair on my car for me to understand that I could smarter about this. After my wife did some research on the internet, we decided on Delta Auto Protect. The main reason was the incredibly small price, but also the way we were treated by the salesperson which was assigned to our request. It's been 2 years ever since and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend!

I use my vehicle for my small business and I need it running all the time. I usually have a busy schedule and don't have time to make it stop or sit. So I needed a perfect warranty plan that takes care of everything. I Signed up with a couple of companies and Delta responded promptly. The rep quoted me the best prices with customized options of coverage. I asked him hundreds of questions to be satisfied and he replied to each of them patiently. I got impressed and purchased warranty for 7 years. I can say with confidence that Delta has always done and live up to what is written in the docs. None of my claim has been rejected or faced any challenging situation. So far so good.

When my father gifted me a Nissan he recommended to buy an extended warranty beside the factory warranty because the factory warranty did not cover much. He wanted me to bear the repair expenses of the car myself because I had completed my graduation and was doing a part time job. He recommended me Delta as my mom and dad both are using warranty from Delta and they are very satisfied. It's been two years since I have been using the warranty. Delta gave me a discount and customized plan because of my parents who are Delta's customers from past 6 years. I have filed just 2 claims and they went ok.

Every time you call they have you in hold for hours, and you want your your problem resolve so you wait but they don't come back to the phone. They find ways to not cover your repair. They say it will take 24-48 hrs, but a week later they can't resolve the issue or they are looking for ways not to cover. Don't waste your money with them.

It was a difficult decision for me to buy an extended warranty after the factory warranty expired on my car. I have been using the same car since 8 years and it is in the best condition because I love this car and I take care of her like a child. This is the most expensive gift I have ever received from my parents when I graduated from university and I plan to keep it forever until it stops running.

So initially, I was confused between two big names but when I discussed it with my friends and family they warned me not to buy from them as they had had bad experiences with both of the companies. The rates were higher and claim processing ratio was low. I started to shop around on internet and signed up with Delta because only this company had three simple plans and rates were also affordable. The price quoted by its rep was almost half of what other companies were charging for bumper-to-bumper coverage. It was amazing. I purchased a diamond plus plan and still using the same plan as it covers 100% with just $ 115 monthly deductible. It's been 3 years since I have been with Delta and plan to stay with it forever. I get the best value from Delta on my money.

I purchased a "Diamond Premier" level extended warranty for my vehicle in October of 2018. On April 3 2019, my auto shop informed me of repairs needed for the vehicle. That same day, (April 3 2019), I submitted a claim to Delta Auto Protect to cover the repairs. EVERY ITEM ON THE REPAIR ESTIMATE WAS COVERED UNDER THE EXTENDED WARRANTY CONTRACT I PURCHASED. Delta Auto Protect requested vehicle service records on April 8 and I provided all documents to them April 24.

As of July 30 2019, Delta Auto Protect has left my claim as unapproved. Delta Auto has repeatedly blamed the delay on their need to send a vehicle inspector out to confirm what repairs are needed, but it has been over 4 months since I filed the claim and not ONE inspector has looked at my vehicle. Delta Auto Protect told me I was not allowed to pay for the repairs upfront and get reimbursed so the repairs remain undone. Delta Auto Protect has requested I leave the vehicle at the shop for extended periods of time, in which they promised a vehicle inspector would assess the car; however, the inspectors never show up and I incur rental car fees which Delta Auto Protect also is unwilling to cover. The "Diamond Premier" level warranty covers rental car reimbursement, and yet Delta Auto Protect continues to breach this contract by not issuing reimbursement for the rentals or payment for the car repairs.

First things first, I'm a new customer, so I can't really say much about the service itself. But what I can say is that it's such a smooth experience from quote request to a signed contract, and you get ALL this information you need to make an educated decision, that I can only imagine the service must be as good as that.

Their website is very ample in offering information, should you have any questions. But my advice is to request a quote, you'll get someone on the line ready to answer all of them and more. Plus, they are so friendly, it felt like I was taking a stroll in the park with a friend, catching up and asking for advice for my extended warranty. Lovely!

A very close friend referred me to Delta. I was a first time car owner and did not know much about car repairs and other expenses. I am an artist so the technicalities are not my kinda things. So, he suggested me to buy a warranty for my BMW S1 to be on the safe side because it was a second hand car which already covered almost 90,000 miles. So, warranty was a must. I purchased a premier plan on recommendations of the rep. He told me that warranty would actually start after 1 month of buying and covering further 1000 k miles.

That was kinda disappointing because I don't travel much so 1000 miles in one month was a big deal for me. I was almost turned off. I talked to my friend and he told me it's a policy and all other warranty providers follow it. He took my car for his road trip to another city and completed 1000k miles in just a week. It has been a year now so far just made one small claim for dead battery which was authorized without bumps.

I took my car in on a Friday morning. Called Jessie my customer service rep explained I needed car to be fixed. He transferred me to Aaron the claims adjuster/administrator and by Monday afternoon I had my car back fixed. There was a hiccup on the expediency servicing vehicle however Aaron came through.

Thanks Aaron and Jessie. I will be certainly recommending delta auto protect to my family and friends. Thanks again! I know Aaron and Jessie looked after me. Only one thing to add and getting the approval to fix the car and the payment to the mechanic faster would be much appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Sakis

I have been with Delta from past two years and the level of services they are providing is worth its price. It is nothing for a 5 years deal with full coverage. I always get the best customer services by the reps at Delta whenever I contact them and the mechanics near my vicinity have also become familiar to me and they give tips and also do all the paperwork for the claim on Delta's behalf. I could not ask for better services.

From customer services to getting my Ford truck repaired, I got the best services from Delta. They also provide road side assistance for free as an emergency service and that proved to be a life saving for me when I was travelling alone on a dark road. The sales rep are courteous and nice. The overall services are just great. Recently I went for the oil leakage and rattling sound in the steering wheel and got my truck back after repair just within 48 hours. If you are looking for the affordable deals with full coverage go for Delta.

It is a smart thing to buy an extended warranty for you car. For a used car warranty plays role of umbrella in the rainy days. I got my car covered through Delta Auto and they lived up to what they said at the time of selling warranty for my Honda Accord. My car was having some issue. I took it to the dealer an he said something is wrong but could not figure it out correctly. I was freaking out and called my rep. He responded kindly and promptly. He asked me to take my car to the repair centers authorized by Delta. He talked to the mechanic there and settled everything very quickly. It was my first experience with the company and it proved to be great.

In February 2018, I requested a refund since Delta Auto Protect refuse to cover my vehicle's work. I have been given numerous run arounds of my check in the mail. Each time I call I get a different check#. At this point I have no other option but to keep posting my negative reviews of this company until I get my refund back. My full negative review of Delta Auto Protect is available on Google's review site at this address: https://goo.gl/maps/hB7zDoHrMj9VkW3m6. DELTA WILL NOT COVER YOUR VEHICLE. They will find or look for numerous loopholes to get out of covering your cost. I have used other services which cover jobs with no issues. If I can stop one person from selecting this deadbeat company, then my numerous postings was well worth it.

And when I called back the first time with a claim, it's like they cloned the guy and gave him another name, but with the same willingness to assist and help. Thanks, guys. I called Delta Auto Protect on April 15th about my vehicle and the problem they told me to take it to the shop and they would take it from there. The shop let them know what the problem was and sent over the estimate. After several calls from the shop and myself about getting the repair paid Delta Auto never came through. My vehicle sat at the shop for over a month waiting on them to take care of the bill which they never did. I had to pay for the repairs out of my pockets. I called them again to see if they reimburse me. I sent over the receipt and another month has passed and I still haven’t heard from them regarding this matter. I advise anyone that’s looking at this company to be your safety net please look elsewhere. I will no longer try another extended warranty company outside of the dealership.

If you have hours to wait on the phone, get them. If you want to pay out of your pocket every time, get them. If you want to be ignored when you make a claim, get them. If you like your dealership to say "We do not accept Delta" get them. If you want the best sell team (only before you buy), get them. If you want to be scammed, get them. They are the best at all of the above and more.

I paid $1400 for their "Premier" warranty but ended up stuck with $4500 out-of-pocket expenses and only the coverage of one $50 part. They claim to have covered $450 but I've never seen anything other than the $50 part. Some of things you can expect with Delta: (a) Terrible call-in service - you always get put on hold many times for hours. (b) Long waits to get repairs approved - was without a car for nearly 2 weeks. (c) All kinds of excuses and qualifications that end in no coverage of anything. After half of the contract was done I canceled and they claim to have sent me a whopping $198. It's 72 days since I was verified as canceled by their service and I still have received the paltry refund. I would NEVER, EVER use their service again nor recommend them to anyone I care about.

The auto repair shop has to contact Delta Auto for authorization before proceeding with repairs. My dealer was put on hold for over 30 minutes, and had to make multiple calls to talk to someone to get authorization. My service advisor called me to explain the problem they were having getting authorization. I called and had the same experience, 35 minutes on hold, got a person on the phone, was told they had to transfer me, and they disconnected the call. I had to call back (wait another 40 minutes on hold), got the same person on the line, was told I needed to be transferred, but I told them what happened the last time he transferred me. He told me that if he transfers the call and the person does not pick up, it disconnects the call (no voice mail, nothing). When my service rep finally got someone on the line to authorize repairs (a heater, that was blowing cold air on the driver's side result of a faulty actuator), Delta denied the claim.

I have a Diamond Premier plan, which is supposed to be their top-of-the-line coverage. The actuator is a mechanical part but Delta told my service representative the part was not in their parts database so they had to deny the claim (I have a Ford F150 truck). The vehicle was at the dealership for 7 days before we could get Delta on the phone to authorize the claim, and they denied it. While the vehicle was at the dealership, they found a ball joint that needed to be replaced. Delta denied the claim. I had to call Delta (another 30 minutes on hold) and talk to a manager about why the ball joint was not covered. He told me a ball joint should be covered but they would have to send an inspector to the dealership first to inspect the vehicle, and the reason they denied the claim was because they felt the dealership was making up another repair because the heater was denied.

Delta authorized the ball joint repair but the dealership called me 30 days after the repair and said they had not received payment from Delta. More 30 minute waits on hold by both the service rep and me, lame excuses, but dealership finally did receive payment. If I could give Delta negative stars for service, value, and coverage, I would..

I purchased my first car in 2012. It was a second hand Honda Accord. I did not know much about the car maintenance and repair so my friend recommend me to buy a warranty to get peace of mind. I was looking for an affordable option for my car as I am a daily wages worker. I found the prices of Delta Auto Protect very reasonable and coverage was also good. I made first claim in June 2013 and I was so overwhelmed with the response of the Delta team. I decided to stick to this company in future and here I am still a customer of Delta Auto but this time I purchased a warranty for my brand new Ford.

I was interested in buying the full coverage for my car. I was told that the engine coverage will include the internally lubricate parts and and the main bearing. I also consulted my local mechanic before buying the warranty to be on the safe side. The mechanic told me that the deal looks pretty decent as the self-lubricating parts are also covered in it so it is fully covered. I purchased the warranty and it's going good.

Delta Auto Protect is a good company. I went to Delta for an extended warranty in 2017 and filed a claim in March 2019. The claim went well although there was a bit delay in authorization of the claim but they did it anyhow. The main challenge was the dealer. The specialized dealer that I approached for repair was quite expensive. He made a bill that was higher than the expectations and was not fully covered. I called Delta and talked to my rep about the situation. He then talked to dealer in detail and settled the bill. The dealer told me that Delta has taken care of everything.

Delta Auto Protect is quick to sell you a policy, but when it comes time to cancel your policy (they expressly offer a 30 day Money Back Guarantee), be prepared to make multiple calls and sit through the hard sell by their sales department. I had to interrupt the sales person multiple times, thank them for their "discounted" offer and stress the fact that I wanted to cancel. The sales person even went so far as to question my decision making by saying "Are you sure you're making the right decision". Not to mention, we as consumers shouldn't have to attempt to cancel in order to take advantage of their "added value discounts". I find this type of sales tactic to be off putting. I would not recommend this company. There are many others that offer lower initial rates with better customer service.

Please don't waste your time with this place. You will regret it in the long run. This place is a joke. I wouldn't do business with them if it was free. They will take your money and not help you with anything when the time comes. They will give you the run around and not pay nothing. When you want to cancel they fight with you about getting your money back. You will talk to 20 different people or it might be the same one using a different voice. They will say something different and play you like you're stupid. I have like 5 different people recorded all saying something different. This place is a mess. They will put you on hold for hours at a time. This place needs to be shut down. They have poor business. Please don't waste your time.

I feel compelled to write a review on the Delta Auto because I have had a really good experience with the company. I switched to Delta almost a year ago when the factory warranty of my new Honda Accord EX-L expired. I am basically from old school of thoughts and always value quality over pricing. The previous experience of warranty did not go well with the well reputed company despite their promises and promotions for being the best in the town. So I gave considerable time in searching for the best option for me to buy warranty. Delta seemed to be a good choice with respect to not only the pricing but also for its packages and other related offers like roadside assistance services, free towing, 24/7 availability, free fueling and much more. The sales rep I spoke to on phone also seemed to be a reasonable man with adequate knowledge. I am satisfied so far and look forward to get the expected services when the time comes.

My car has been in the shop with a transmission problem for a week and they haven’t send an adjustor (inspector) yet. Very slow & frustrating process (AND I bought the most expensive plan - Diamond Premier). First & LAST time buying an extended warranty, not worth the price or the hassle. Terrible customer service.

I purchased a Diamond Premier warranty for $3,059 for my Maserati in December 2017. I immediately paid for the warranty and coverage begin after a 30 day waiting period. I did not have any repair claims and I sold the Maserati in January 2019. I have been trying to get my prorated refund since January 2019 and have been lied to and given the runaround ever since. I have spoke with numerous people, including Aaron ** and have been informed that the refund is being processed. To date I have not received a refund as it has not been processed 6 months later. I am totally upset and frustrated and will do whatever it takes, including going to the news and social media until I get satisfaction of receiving my refund. This review is just the beginning of what is to come. I am going to make sure this company does not keep my money and make other consumers aware.

The experience with Delta Auto has thus far been OKAY. When I purchased the warranty the sales rep told me I will be having discounted services and the plan name is Diamond Premier. But When I received the document the discount was just nominal and that too with conditions. The plan name was only "Premier" not "Diamond Premier". I hope when I will actually put the warranty into work they will be clear and transparent about authorization of the claim. I would tell you about my experience. Stay tuned.

Signed up July, have never gotten a pdf contract. Nor have I received the finalized contract with adjusted mileage that they promised upon signing up. Now, the rep won't call back or take my calls. Called and waited 30+ mins on the line for support. Which did not happen. People if they won't communicate with you and the contract isn't even valid yet. RUN< RUN< RUN!!!

I purchased a second hand Audi VII from a friend. It was in meticulous condition but I knew how valuable an extended warranty can be for a car. So I purchased a a premier plan in January 2019. It covered my car for up to 200,000 miles for 5 years with one year discounted services. It was a good deal. I also like the attitude of the sale rep. But one thing that I found missing in the entire deal was that there was no updates or record on their website about customer's plan, their status etc. I mean they need to improve their websites so that customers can get information about their warranties on website. I had to wait for 2 weeks for my file to arrive so that I could read the plan thoroughly. I then cleared my queries and got to knew that I needed to wait for 2 weeks to make it work.

I traded my truck because of a severe rust problem. I canceled my contract and received a notice that I would receive a refund of $757 in 30-60 days. That was 6 months ago. I have called more than 6 times and each time I am assured the check will be sent. NOTHING!! They are stealing my refund. Today I started the process of suing them of $757 plus costs. Beware.

I purchased a warranty for my Volkswagen Jetta that I purchased in 2017 from a lot for a monthly deductible of $ 100. I did not file a claim after a year of buying the warranty because the car was performing exceptionally good. However, when the warranty needed to be put in to work I contacted Delta right away. At first the rep told me to took my car to a specific mechanic. But when I googled for the location of that mechanic it turned out to be far away from my present location. I called again to the rep and told him about the long distance. Maybe he misunderstood or what he pushed me to took my car to that location offering free towing. But for me it was impossible as it was almost 20 miles away. I called him again and emailed him also. After that he allowed me to take my car to any nearest mechanic and also apologized for misunderstanding.

I hardly ever leave reviews or go out of my way to publicly praise companies but I am so impressed by the employees at Delta Auto Protect that I had to spread the word!! They are incredible at being there for me when I need it most! They treat me better than family! My car is not in the best of shape so I am constantly having problems, but they are always there for me 24/7 with a tow and a rental without breaking the bank! I definitely recommend this affordable "Guardian Angel!" Five Stars!!!!

My experience with the Delta is just OK so far. The staff was really polite and professional at first during the purchase process. However, after purchasing the plan I received just two emails that too from a different sales rep and they sent me the final documents after two weeks. I was told I will receive the ID with my documents but I did not hear anything from them until after 3 weeks. I don't know anything more than this.

I did take out a coverage plan with Delta late last August 9 for $1800.00. The salesman name was Derreck. I was told I would have 30 days to cancel with no questions asked. I cancelled cancelled August 28 and have made several calls to Delta Auto Protect, was told repeatedly I would be getting my refund but I am still waiting. I even sent them a registered letter, which I know they received, but nothing seems to work. The last time I spoke to anyone at Delta was last Dec. or early Jan. I have kept a pretty detailed record of when I called but do not have that information at this location.

I went to Delta to purchase warranty for my wife's car. I found the process a bit challenging and confusing. However, the sale rep explained everything to make things clear. He told me to choose premier plan and offered me a discount. I purchased the same warranty plan but when I paid the amount I got to know the discount was a minimal amount and did not make any big difference. I am keeping my fingers crossed because 30 days and 1000 miles are still left to get the actual repair services.

Delta Auto Protection is a good company. I have had good experience with it. Before finalizing my extended warranty plan I talked to Joe and he was very kind, polite and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and seemed to be on the ball and explained everything very well. He quoted higher prices initially but I had a low budget. Then he customized a plan according to my budget and in lower prices. So far so good. Hope I will get the good response when repairs will be needed and he will avoid quoting high prices.

I purchased Delta Auto extended warranty in 2014 when I bought brand new Honda Accord. My brother-in-law has been using Delta's warranty services from 2009 for his boat and Fortuner and he trusts and loves this company for its stellar services and professional staff. So, I wanted an Extended warranty that would be covering my car for bumper-to-bumper repair for up to 200,000 miles. Delta fulfilled all my needs and requirements. I enjoy premier plan with so many free services. I could not ask for more. Recently I went for the brake and tyres issue. The representative was kind, honest and prompt in responding and he made sure I get the services as soon as possible so that I can get back to my work with peace of mind. Highly Recommended!

Delta Auto has helped me more than any other company has. If I break down on the road, I can rely on them to tow my car where I need it. My family is on a budget so it's important that I use services that fits my family needs AND my budget. Being a single mom of 2 boys, things are hard to come by. James has basketball practice, Mark has football practice, both of their games. I make sure that I am there for my kids when they need me and at the same time, Delta makes sure they are there when I need them!

When my oldest son, James, had his first away game in the next town over, an area I had never driven in before, our car got a flat tire. I had no spare tires since I had run a wire through my tire a week before. I had no idea what to do, other than to call delta. I spoke with Hellen on the phone and she reassured me that everything would be okay. We made it to his game, and our team won! With that and Delta, a bad situation turned good. Thank you, Delta for being there for me and my boys.

I work in construction and my pick-up truck is what I use to carry all my tools to jobs. I need it up and running at all times, as downtimes take away from my paychecks. My colleague uses Delta to have an extended warranty for his truck so after I lost a great job because my truck had some problems with the back wheels, I decided to get coverage also. Now I'm more relaxed knowing that whatever happens, it can be taken care of and I don't need to bleed my pockets dry to do so. Super friendly people on the lines too and great customer service.

I love my Camaro. It's always been my dream to own one and now that I have a great job, I was able to buy one. Since it's a 2015 make, I immediately looked around to get some warranty coverage for it, and after a bit of research, I picked Delta, for the low premiums, affordable deductibles and overall quality of customer service. Now I know my car is in good hands, in case something breaks.

I was a customer of Shield, but grew really tired of all the loopholes they threw at me, so I canceled, and after waiting for 4 months for a refund, I used that money to sign a policy with Delta. I've been with them for 6 months now, and I must say, it's a bit better, they actually do have a 24/7 claims line and they do pay the claims. Okay, nothing major happened to me but the small claims I had (rearview mirror sensor and a busted speaker) were both covered and it was all fine.

I purchased a warranty for my Ford from the Delta Auto protect in 2015 and I could not be happier with the exceptional services of the company. I made sure my car is covered for the major repairs so I purchased Diamond Plus plan. The staff is exceptionally good and professional and make sure the repairs are done faster and cheaper. Recently I went for the Catalytic converter replacement. I was given the best quote and most cost effective option. The old pipes were all cut out and were replaced with new one within an hour. They have every modern tool required for making repairs and they do it perfectly with every tool and pipe readily available on stock. I would stay with Delta forever for my car warranties in future also.

The sales pitch is complete opposite of what you get if you have an auto problem. To sum it up, you get long hold times with total run around until they get you so frustrated you give up. You will NOT get the help or fix you paid for. Total scam.

I have prospected the online market for almost 2 months before committing with DAP. I took into consideration the premium and deductibles, and also the bad reviews I found online about this company. I can tell you that, at least in my situation, Delta has come through. I am happy with this service. As a minus, maybe you guys could make it so there's no wait on the claim lines. I wait on average about 6-8 minutes when I call.

I recently became a US citizen, so the first thing I did to celebrate this was buy a car. I couldn't afford a new one, so I bought a used car, a 2006 Grand Cherokee. My friend advised me to get an extended warranty to keep me safe from unexpected breakdowns, and after doing a bit of research, I decided to go with Delta Auto Protect. They gave me the best premium price and they have the smallest deductibles on the market. I also got a 50-gallon free gas coupon from them. Overall, I feel I made the best decision.

Simply put, the best extended warranty company out there. Of course, they have flaws, but overall, I am yet to find a better one. The employees are very friendly and professional and also, well trained and mechanical-knowledgeable. They guided me step by step in taking the best decision, and I also received a 10 free car-wash coupon from them. I used to be with another company, but I got tired of the way they were treating me, so I switched to these guys. So far so good, I have to say I love the way they make me feel like I'm their number one customer.

I have been a paying customer of this company for some time now, and have had to use them on two occasions. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes you have to wait for a bit on the claims line, around 10 minutes. But the experience is ok after that. People picking up the phones seem to be very willing to help, and ask all the right questions to make sure they understand the situation.

When you call, you are placed on hold for 30 minutes to an hour and when the call is answered, it's the same guys who sound like they hate their job and place you on hold or transfer you so you get to wait another 30 min to an hour. Refunds are supposed to take 60 days, it's been over 60 days and mine is not received. Anyone who answers sounds depleted of life and does not want to help you. I call early in the morning and the financial department that handles refunds is always magically closed. They seem scammy and I have never used the service so I cancelled it February 7, 2019, it's May 24th, it's been a headache trying to speak to someone to get a refund. I would NOT recommend using this company, go through the manufacturer or someplace else but not here.

$1580.10 of unpaid repairs bills and being sent to collections. *First Unpaid Bill. 7/20/2017 Amount $178.50. Delta approved this part and labor for my 2009 Land Rover Wheel Bearing. Authorization # was given by Delta. The part was actually sent by Delta but the repairs were not paid for. The repair shop called and faxed the invoice every month for 6 months and asked me to to responsibility. For the past year I have been calling and emailing and each time a rep tells me a check will be sent out. 12/28/18 Emailed invoice again after rep asked on the phone. 2/13/19 Invoice sent to Aaron **. 2/15/19 Aaron emailed confirming receipt of invoice 3/7/19 Called and no assistance. Aaron replied via email confirmed being paid. I received no more communication via email and kept being told on the phone to call back. Repair shop was going to send me to collections so I paid this out of pocket. 3/17 Called Delta.

*Second Unpaid Bill 4/27/19 Amount $1401.60. Delta approved the parts and labor for my 2009 Land Rover Rack and Pinion. Authorization #. The parts were purchased by the repair shop and labor completed. 4/15/19 My repair shop Luxury Auto and Repair Clinic contacted Delta and was informed that a check will be mailed out to them for the parts and labor. All invoices were emailed. 4/15 Called Delta spoke to Jay, he informed me that this is approved. 4/22 Repairs done. 4/26 Called waited on hold 25 min and spoke to Jay, he said everything is authorized and payment should go out. He doesn't know when. I asked to speak to finance and he indicated they are closed. He said to call back Monday and ask for the Finance manager, he indicated his name might be Mr. Cooper.

5/2 Called waited 20mins on hold, rep told me the checks for both invoices mailed out 4/26/19. 5/15 Called 20min hold, rep indicated the person who told me it was all approved is new. It was not approved. We need to email the invoices AGAIN. 5/17 35min on hold. 5/19 Emailed execs. Paid invoice #1 and currently in a repayment plan with the shop for invoice #2.

I would like a reimbursement payment sent to me for the repair costs and also the amount I paid for my warranty. If I have to go through this entire process, the warranty service that it states in its contract is invalid and false. I would have no intention of using the service again because another issue like this can happen, also by paying out of pocket it is a breach of contract. Would like payment made to the shop for repairs of $1580.10. Would like a refund for warranty Contract Amount. Wash Reimbursement Bonus (I DIDN’T EVEN GET MY BONUS!! I HAVE AN EMAIL THREAD FOR THIS TO) $100. A case has been opened with the PA Attorney General and the BBB. I have also been in contact with multiple former contract holders with the same issue. Found them on Yelp and I am following the same steps as them.

Anyone looking at these reviews should pay close attention to the negative complaints. When you call Delta to purchase a warranty, you would think the world of them. They will treat you better than a family member. Once they have your money, trust me when I tell you, you will NEVER EVER get a service from them. If you plan on cancelling your policy, say goodbye to your money because you will never see it. I encourage you to call Delta and select option 2 for questions about your policy and see how long you will be on the phone. Now imagine if that was you or your mechanic trying to get authorization for your repairs.... You'll never get it. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.

After submitting a claim, then calling back to check on the claim, they put you on hold for at least 30 minutes. They then say they will call back & that never happens. I was able after 3 days to get hold of Aaron (supervisor) to make headways. The wait period was not right for me or the repair shop. If it wasn't for Aaron I would be looking for another company for my two cars. Give 5 stars to Aaron for his help. SAM **.

When my car's transmission went out, I was over the moon excited to hear that I was covered by Delta Auto Protect. Thankfully I had decided to purchase an extended vehicle warranty, otherwise I would have been stuck paying thousands for a new transmission. This is an investment worth taking the time to purchase, especially because buying a whole new car is so expensive. If it wasn't for Delta Auto Protect I wouldn't have a car to drive right now. Great plans, great service, great company!

I am satisfied with the services provided by this company. As a plus, they are very nice and friendly, extremely professional and ready to help. They cover a lot of things with the insurance. When it comes to minuses, I guess they could improve the wait times on the lines a bit, although they're not horrible, and maybe make sure that all documents that are required are gathered by the customer when a claim is closed. But overall, I'm quite pleased with this service. 5 stars from me.

I had to replace my clutch solenoid (still not sure what that is) on my Honda, and had the best service I could imagine from DAP. I am very grateful for the assistance! Quick and to the point, I would say. Thank you!

I purchased an extended auto warranty for my 2008 Lexus $400 H hybrid vehicle. I made a claim about 3 months after I made the purchase. I reviewed the claim for a new radiator because the original leaked at about 102,000 miles. The claim was accepted and my trusted mechanic said: They sell the customer a bill of goods and have good service for customer relations but the warranty company tries to not pay the shop it's due. I assured him that he was incorrect and that Delta would pay as promised. I was assured in turn by the phone salesperson, Sam **, his supervisor Arron and the claims adjuster Blake, that all would be handled. My mechanic sent an estimate, it was okayed. The work was then completed.

The bill came to $479 which was quite reasonable by any standard. The Repair Pal site said the costs should run from $779 to $825 including labor. The cost at a nearby Lexus dealer were estimated just under $900. Delta Auto Protect, after 3 months and a dozen phone calls and the work estimate had to be sent twice because they claimed it was lost. The bill is still not paid. I have never even received a phone call back after repeated promises that all would be paid and that I would receive direct word back from them. As much as I would like to think that Delta Auto Protect is legitimate, I am now force to believe it's a scam.

As a Auto Dealer who sells extended warranties I would never recommend Delta. The lack of communication from this company is horrible. I have clients who bring their cars in for service and 9/10 the contracts sold to them will not cover the repairs needed. Also the biggest issue with Delta is trying to get payment from them if a repair is covered. As a business you can imagine how frustrating that can be. There are way better companies out there to work with. Please contact me if you'd like to know what companies. And as for Delta we will no longer honor your warranty as you're too difficult to work with.

We purchased a Vehicle Extended Warranty for 2500.00 on May 24, 2018 from this company. Sold the truck on January 17, 2019, cancelled the policy and asked for a refund. Received email stating we would receive a refund of 1850.00 within 60 days. Have not received it. In contact with them at least 3 times a month since and told we would receive the check within 10-15 business days. Still no check. Last time contacted was May 10, 2019. Was told by Service Manager (866-598-5429, extension **), we would receive the check again within 10-15 business. Same story we’ve heard for 4 months now. We are being lied to and taken advantage of. Please help us with this matter.

I had a problem with my BMW 640i this past Tuesday afternoon. I took it to my repair shop Munich Motorsports and they diagnosed it as a fuel injector problem. I told them I has an extended warranty with Delta Auto Protect and gave them the contact information. They contacted Delta on that Tuesday and got a quick response, Delta then contacted me on Wednesday and advised me that I had forgotten to sign my original contract and had not provided the necessary information to process my claim. They sent me an email link to my contract and info sheet and walked me through how to complete the information. I told them I needed to get my car back by the weekend because we were going on a trip, they said they would expedite my claim to make sure my repair shop got the repair authorization they needed in a timely manner so they could order the parts and begin work on my car as soon as possible.

I submitted the missing info on Wednesday night and Thursday morning I spoke with Delta who said they had uploaded the info into their system and would notify my repair shop by noon with an authorization. By 12:21 PM my repair shop notified me that they had received authorization from Delta and would order the parts necessary to fix my car and would have it ready by noon Friday. I couldn't be happier with Delta's response and sensitivity to my sense of urgency. They also reminded me to submit my rental car expenses so they could reimburse me (I had forgotten about that benefit).

Needless to say, I couldn't be happier with Delta's responsiveness and the outcome. I would recommend Delta Auto Protect to anyone looking for an extended warranty. They were significantly less than BMW's factory extended warranty, and I can pick the repair shop of my choice which was Munich Autosports in Windsor Ct, who was also very sensitive to my needs and urgency. Delta and Munich worked closely together to expedite my requests for a quick turnaround. A big "thank you' to both of them.

On 8-30-2016 I purchase a Diamond Premier extended warranty from Delta Auto Protect (DAP) for my 2014 Nissan Rogue. I was told that I could use the warranty at any ASE certified shop. I found out that all the shops in my area would not take the warranty and asked that I paid in advanced. I have contact DAP everyday for three weeks to find out if someone would be covered on my car or if I could get reimbursed for a warranty claim.

Highlights of contact done to reach DAP with no luck (This does not include all the calls. Just the highlights): 4-22-19 Called and was told someone would call me back during normal business hours. I never received a call. 4-27-19 Called back and was told someone would call me back that they are really busy and would get them the message. I never received a call. 4-29-19 Sent email to info@deltaautoprotect.com and jdevins@deltaautoprotect.com with no email or call back. 5-6-19 Called and waited 32 minutes no one answered.

5-7-19 Called and waited 45 minutes. Someone got on the phone then hung up. 5-17-19 Called the sales line and someone answered in 30 seconds but said they could not help me. They sent me to the service line and waited 32 minutes no answer. 5-17-19 Called again and waited another 30 minutes. Someone got on the phone and hung up. I was reading reviews and see that this was a scam. I have reached out to the BBB and disputed the charge on my credit card as fraud.

‼️️‼️SCAMMERS‼️‼️ They will never pay for your repair and when you cancel they will never refund your money, continuously saying your check is mailed with a false tracking number. Your check will never arrive. It’s been 6 months and we are still waiting for our money after talking to over 10 managers who all said they sent our money‼️‼️

I'm still waiting for my undisputed refund check which is 7 months overdue. I've called and emailed 17 times. Each time I am told that I need to wait 10-15 business days for the check to arrive. They do not respond to voicemails or emails. Every time I call, I am told a new story - the person I spoke to previously is on vacation or unavailable and my new customer service rep will keep on top of my account and make sure that my payment goes through. They've given me bogus USPS tracking numbers. It all seems to be organized stall and delay tactics. Seems intentional and criminal.

5 stars from me for this service. Small premium, nice people on the claim line, small deductible and loads of shops working with them in the Dallas area. Would recommend to anyone, true American service.

I love these guys! Always bring a smile on my face when I call the claims line, as upset as I might be. That's what a service is supposed to do. Give you the confidence in knowing there's someone there to watch your back when your car fails, and also knows how to cheer you up a bit. And they're the real deal, twice I called, twice they were on top of it. Thanks, guys!

Stop looking for anything better. All the companies have issues, that's how the industry works, like a constant juggle. Delta at least is fair and has friendly people trying to help with any kind of situation, even when it's not fully eligible. Like my situation, where the whole door lock mechanism was not covered, but they found a way to help me change the driver door one, because it was faulty. And I only had to pay a fraction of the cost. Use your brain to choose, and not other's.

I am very happy with Delta's service and quality of personnel. Always friendly and there to assist. I have my Camri covered with the Diamond pack, and have needed their help when one of my tires blew and almost made me lose control. Thank God I was able to stop safely. I called Delta immediately and they sent a truck that patched me up and had me back on the road in a couple of hours.
