I have two warranties with this company. One is on an F250 and the other is on an F350. A few months back the F250 was in the shop and the shop could not get ahold of them to discuss repairs. It was only after I copied Aaron on an email to my attorney that he called me back and promised that they would pay that day, as my vehicle was ready. They did not pay the shop for another month and a half; after I called again and demanded payment be made.

Now, my F350 is in the shop. It has been there for two weeks. The shop cannot get ahold of anyone at Delta Auto Protect. When I call I got "this number is out of service." I then emailed Aaron and he has not responded, it has been a week. I tried calling today, the first phone call was answered and immediately disconnected, the second time back I got a busy signal and the third time calling, I got music and was on hold for 53 minutes and then an automated recording came on for me to leave a message. I was in the middle of leaving a message when the call disconnected.

I am now turning this over to my attorney. I will get my vehicle repairs paid for or I will sue them for a breach of contract. This place is a joke. They make all kinds of promises and are really good to you until you pay and the 30 day refund period expires and then you can't get anyone on the phone.

Don't waste your time or money on this company.

I bought my extended warranty less than one year ago. After reviewing the warranty, I determined that the warranty did not cover the electronics that I most wanted addressed. I tried to contact the company to make certain I was reading the warranty correctly. The only response I received was "just read the warranty." I decided to cancel the warranty within the guidelines as expressed in the warranty. I have written three letters (2 postal and 1 email), and have yet to receive any response. All telephone calls I have made, ten over the last two months, have all gone to voice mail with no return calls. Based on reviews I have read, it appears this is a scam operation. I will be referring the company to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office.

My friend waited 8 months after filing a claim, and no reimbursement. Therefore, I cancelled my policy just before it was to go into effect. They acknowledged that cancellation, but I've been waiting 6 months for reimbursement. They never return my phone calls or emails. I've called many times, and am ignored. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but still not response. Not a trustworthy company. Many other BBB complaints.

Where do I start...these people keep you on hold for an hour and they hang up on you after holding for 30 minutes or more. I have been trying to get a refund since October 2019 and it is not March 2020. I sent the proper information but, when I made the original request, one of their agents purposely sent me a transfer form and not a refund form. I did not know the process and was unaware he sent the wrong form as I informed him I sold the car to a dealership and the warranty could not be transferred.

I waited a month and contacted them again only to be told they did not receive my notarized letter and they wanted a tracking number for the letter. I went back to the post office and received the information needed in January because I was told again in December they do not have the letter. I sent them information again on the notarized letter and the info from the post office about the verification the letter was sent...STILL-NO-REFUND. An agent even told me I would receive the refund at the end of January...NOTHING. I am still fighting to receive the refund owed to me for a car I no longer own and did not make any warranty claims on. I only had the warranty for 7 months. HORRIBLE COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! ALSO, the refunds department is not open after 2pm est or on Friday.

Paid for warranty after 2 years of my 5 year plan car broke. Took it to Ford dealer who tried to contact them for 5 days. I had to pay out of pocket. They won't answer phone. Contacted pa states attorney. Save your money any good review. They probably made up or black mailed person to change bad reviews.

Delta Auto Protect does not back up their product. They never responded to my calls of complaints. Failed to pay auto dealer for an approved claim 7 months ago. Typically I'm on hold for 2 hrs every time I called, never getting my issue addressed. Now I will have to pay the balance of the claim out of my own pocket. Never do business with Delta Auto Protect, else you will be ripped off.

So I purchased a DIAMOND PREMIER warranty policy from DAP in Oct 2018. I haven't had a claim until Jan 2020. So my car was brought to a Dealership in the town where it broke down. And now it has been sitting there coming up on a month. I call DAP every day while I'm at work and stay on hold from anywhere from 20 - 60 plus minutes for one of their rude employees to answer the phone. Then they answer like they're doing you a favor. Then they transfer you to a supposed supervisor line, to be put on hold for another 20-60 plus minutes, only to get hung up on, then I start all over again.

I've paid $2,400.00 for this so called protection. I've now been without a car now for almost a month now, if I rented a car I'd be out Thousands by now. THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM!!! I will now call the BBB, the Federal Trade Commission, and Attorney General. DAP Chief Executive Charles Seruya (President) You should be ashamed of yourself. His address is 600 Eagle View Blvd. Suite 300 Exton PA 191341. E-Mail: cseruya@deltaautoprotect… If I could leave no stars I would of.

Terrible company. Their “F” rating by the BBB is well deserved. In Sep 2017, I bought a low mileage 2002 Ford Thunderbird from a friend of a friend, and the seller recommended I purchase a Vehicle Service Contract from Delta. On 12 Sep 2017 I bought a Diamond Premier Plan, from agent Keith **. In Dec 2019 the check-engine light illuminated, I took the car in to the shop, and gave the service manager the Delta service contract information. The car had only been driven about 5,000 miles by me, and all routine maintenance had been performed. Bottom line, the service manager and the shop owner said this is the worst company they had ever worked with.

Delta said an adjuster would be out in a day or two but never showed, they didn’t return calls, they would leave the shop on hold for 45 minutes to an hour, they would ask again and again for more information, they would say the information is under review or with a manager, and once they just hang up. I finally picked up the car after almost three weeks and paid $1200 for the exhaust system repair. I felt like they were trying to delay things so long that I had no choice but to just pay and get my car back. I then called Delta and had to leave a message, but no one ever called back. After a few days I finally spoke with a customer service representative who said the claim had been denied, but she didn’t have any details.

They do not intend to honor their contracts and will not pay for authorized repairs without a fight. If you have problems with them, call the PA AG's Bureau of Consumer Protection. My first claim was for a stretched Timing Chain. It took Delta over 3 weeks to make a decision and they ultimately denied my claim using specs from a different engine model (not the engine I had in my car) to justify their denial. Luckily the shop I used was willing to work with me and they provided the specs for my engine, which proved the need for the timing chain replacement. I opened a claim with the BBB and PA AG's Bureau of Consumer Protection. In addition, I sent Delta a letter informing them I intended to file for mediation, per our contract. It still took them about 6 months to reimburse me and when they did, it was only a partial reimbursement. How many people can leave their car in the shop for three weeks while they wait for a repair authorization?

The second repair was for bad motor mounts. We tried to get this added to the timing chain repair above but after reporting this to Delta's customer service reps (twice, while the vehicle was still in the shop), they ignored it and accused us of not requesting an inspection to verify this, so we took the car back to the shop. It took Delta over 2 weeks to authorize this repair, which they did after we told them we had filed another complaint with the PA AG's Office. Delta did not authorize enough money to pay for factory parts so we agreed to cover the additional cost so we could get the car back ASAP. About a month after we picked up the car, the auto shop called and said Delta failed to pay their portion of the repair bill; this is the portion they authorized paying prior to having the shop complete the repairs!

In the beginning, I had to call almost daily because Delta would change the rules and requirements, sometimes asking for information I had already sent them. Based on my last experience with them, I kept a call log. We have 72 phone calls dedicated to this one repair! In the end, it was the BBB, PA AG's Bureau of Consumer Protection and the letter I sent them informing them I intended to send this matter to mediation to finally get them to send a check to pay the portion of the repair they agreed to in the beginning.

As for rental cars, Delta will not authorize a car until they accept your claim and they will only authorize the rental car for the estimated time it takes your mechanic to repair the car. So if the repair can be completed in less than 8 hours, no car for you and no rental car for the protracted amount of time it takes Delta to approve of your claim. The rental car reimbursement is a scam and so is this company. I did get my money out of them (just barely) but it took an excessive amount of work to get them to honor the terms of their contract.

Update on 06/12/2020: Please do not use this company. I purchased an auto warranty from Delta Auto Protect. After my first claim was submitted with payment authorization, they refused to pay it for months until I filed a complaint with the State of PA attorney general's office. I also submitted a request to cancel my warranty and should have received the refund in April 2020. To date I have not received the refund, their 866 number is not being answered. I looked up another number which they also will not answer and have attempted to reach someone by email. I have been advised by the State of PA that the company is being sued for operating a scam.

Original Review: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I purchased an auto warranty from Delta Auto Protect in January 2019. I filed a claim in April 2019, which was given a claim authorization number for payment. After the dealer and I both tried more times than I can count, they refused to pay the claim. We have been given a number of reasons why but the claim remains unpaid. In January 2020, I sent a letter to the Attorney General for the State of PA, the owner of Delta Auto Protect, Omega Vehicle Services, their customer service department, and a letter to their cancellation department to cancel my subscription, which I can do according to the contract.

On the date I emailed the letter, January 14, 2020, I received a call within a couple hours that the claim would be paid by end of January and that the person that called me would send me his contact information. I never received it. I have not received confirmation of the payment. I also have not received acknowledgement of the cancellation notice. The attorney general's office emailed me they had received my complaint and would give the company 21 days to respond. However, they could not force them to make good on their contract, that would have to be done through mediation or other legal action. Please do not use this company or you will regret it. I only used them because our local news channel listed them as a reliable company. My advice is to do your own thorough research of any company you're giving a large amount of money to. If you use this company, you will be sorry!

Delta Auto Protect has an F Rating by the Better Business Bureau, yes, a F-RATING! Check their website and look at all the complaints, mine included. Also check YELP before using this company for your warranty as looks like this company is being investigated. I really hope so. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY! Wish I could give it 0 stars.

I have been told by dealer and repair shops that Delta Auto Protect is one the worst warranty companies to had to dealt with. Had two shops now will not want to deal with them. Very slow in responding, it will takes days and weeks to get responses from them and requires persistence in following up, then they will deny the claim for some unrelated reason. Our last claim on transmission repair and water pump was denied because dealer recommended oil pan gasket replacement initially, but was able to stop the minor oil leak by tighten the pan screw. If you want peace of mind and keep your sanity, look elsewhere.

Avoid this scam!!!! I purchased my 5-year 100K/mile warranty back in April of 2017 at which time they charged my card for the full amount as expected. I have not needed to use my warranty until now 1/22/20 as my heater stopped working. After finding the largest local Ford service center in my area would not accept Delta Auto Protect, I found another ford service center 20 miles away that would. After diagnosis the service center spent 50 minutes on hold with Delta before he was able to speak to someone about covering the parts and labor. He was informed my contract was never signed and put into effect! I have a finalized contract with a start date, end date, contract number, and email confirmation!

I have now spent several hours of my day trying to contact someone at Delta Auto Protect to work this out without success. I was even hung up on as soon as one person took me off hold. Because I am desperate for my truck, I am paying for the work out of pocket. I am contacting my credit card company to see if they will help me resolve this since they took my money for a contract that is supposedly not valid…

I have used this twice now and both times the same story, they are sending the mechanic a check yet it never arrives. First time it took a month from the time they said sending check to time mechanic finally received it. This time it has now been 2 1/2 weeks since they said sending check and it still has not arrived. My mechanic will no longer accept this warranty so now I am forced to find another mechanic which is too bad as I has a good one. You call them, and you are on hold from 45 minutes to an hour minimum. Very sorry I used this warranty company.

The worst company EVER. You can be on hold for an hour and still not get your claim paid. I was told that my claim would be paid to the repair shop and that has NEVER happened. This company is a joke! Complete misrepresentation of what I was told when I purchased the policy. I have 2 policies and would not recommend this company EVER!! Any claim that I have made has been a complete nightmare. I will be calling the Attorney General. This is probably my 10th email about a claim from September that I have been trying to get paid. The company and the people working for them are professional deceivers and are trained to keep you on hold for over 45 minutes if you are trying to get an authorization or claim money; the only way to get someone to answer is if you pick the prompt that says you are interested in buying an extended plan. My local auto repair shop waited over three months and a dozen calls to be paid on a repair done on my car. I will never recommend or buy another policy from this company.

I am with Delta 2 years and unfortunately have to stay 2 more years. From year to year the customer service become worst and worst. It's always hard to call them since they just ignore incoming calls and you have to wait for at least 20-30 min before somebody pickups a phone. Now they just switch the incoming phone to the answer machine and that's all. Nobody never return you calls, I believe this is a part of Delta customer service policy - never ever contact to the customer even they are staying about 24 hours response.

Second - now all customer service reps including supervisor Jasmin ** are liars. 5 days in row I tried to get info regarding the approval review status and every day these people just lay me that afternoon/next morning my claim would be reviewed. This is another basis of Delta customer service - permanent lie to the customer. And last one that Delta never had before but now it's became a common practice - extreme rudeness. The most disgusting part of Delta customer service is lack of manners not only on agent level but on management level as well. Jasmin ** is a great example. She is a floor manager that is behave extremely rude. She is not just refused to provide any claim related information but also permanently lay to me regarding the timeframe to review the claim.

The special words I would like to share regarding a financial dept. Lost your check, delay with a check distribution is a common practice and you have to fight to get your check. Now I found something new that did not exist before. The Financial dept has to work till 5 PM. After I gave a call to Delta at 3:30 PM on Monday, Dec 16th and after 30 min of waiting I asked a rep to transfer me to financial dept, I got the followed response: "Our Financial dept is working till 5 PM but today they left at 3 PM because of Christmas holidays." I was pissed off. So it's up to you to make a decision to go /not go with Delta but if you go, you should be ready for a Delta "customer service".

I purchased this service in 2018 due to the good reviews from Alex, unfortunately, that is the last time he would have a conversation with me and after filing 2 claims that were approved they have never paid. They keep saying the shops are not submitting an invoice with the claim number, promising to call me back etc. After that got old then I started connecting with the rudest representatives that have no business in customer service. I've been hung up on.. basically fussed at and scolded by these unprofessional, shady people. It's one big scam... Sadly, I checked them out on ConsumerAffairs when they had 5 stars... I see that has changed and definitely don't want anyone else to have the same issue. They will not pay.. so stay far away!!!

Many promises by company employee, Aaron; however, abundant lies. I am a policy holder and have seen published in the recent past many negative comments from other individuals documenting their ordeals with Delta Auto Protect, I have asked numerous times to see the actual name of the "A" Best insurance provider bonding and insuring Delta. I was told by Aaron for three weeks that I would have the company's name emailed to me. I never heard from anyone with any response from my simple question. My simple conclusion, no company exists that insures and bonds Delta.

I purchased the diamond package with Delta Auto Protect late 2017 early 2018. The first visit to a shop went smooth. They seemed fast and paid the dealers quick. It seems that soon as my repairs passed the cost of my warranty their service disappeared! The next two visits some time later they gave the dealer and myself a huge run around. Ignoring calls and messages and always claiming they were working on. One of their biggest lies is that they’ll call you back! The last time I took my truck in was late Feb 2019. They gave us the run around and I needed my truck so I paid for it myself.

Delta reps told me I would be reimbursed the portion they were supposed to pay $480 something. I email their claims center the receipts for confirmations. Nothing happens! And for the next 10 months I’ve been calling and emailing. Excuse after excuse about how they’re on it. They have no problem confirming that I’m owed money but they never send it. It’s now Dec 2019 and I’m taking legal action. If for nothing else...principle! I didn’t realize that they weren’t ACCREDITED when I bought them. It was my first aftermarket warranty so I didn’t even know to check. STAY AWAY FROM *DELTA AUTO PROTECT*

This company is a complete waste of time. The representative that answers the phone will take information regarding to a claim, have you send them an estimate and that is the last you will ever hear from them. When you call them to inquire about the claim they will tell you repetitively that they are reviewing the claim and it takes 24-48 hours for an authorization. Then you call them back and they tell you it is 24-48 business hours.

After that time passes and you call to inquire they use the excuse that a manager is reviewing it and that you will get a call back today. Call them the next day same excuse and the next day same excuse. When you tell them that is unacceptable they don't ask to put you on hold, they put you on an indefinite hold on the phone with their Friday the 13th choo choo choo music. The original filing of the claim for replacement of a failed LDP pump was Weds 12/4/19. Today is Weds 12/11/19 and it is still not approved. Save your money and stay away from this company or they will take you for a ride! -Best of CT Auto Shop.

Do not buy, this is a scam!! I bought their premier diamond package and when I had to bring my car in for work. They gave me and the dealer the biggest run around. They never paid the dealer for the work so it ended coming out of my own pocket. So not only did I pay for the warranty, I also paid for the work that was done to my car. And when I called them several times (on hold for over an hour each time), they gave me the biggest run around saying the check was in the mail 7 different times just to not only never receive it but saying they needed to check with accounting and reissue a new one. Each time I called they gave me the same phone extension but I never got the same person on the line. I cancelled the warranty and asked for a refund, I have now been waiting over three months for the refund and again check is in the mail. Bottom line... they are a sham company, do not waste your money!!!

I purchased this coverage for my car early 2018 and was promised a easy claim process until my car broke down 3 weeks ago, it's been 3 weeks that my car is sitting in a BMW dealer waiting for this company to call us regarding my claim and in the mean time they have accused me of faking my service records for my car (they told me my service record is type up with Microsoft word, it is coming from a private shop who is in business for over 30 years and all I did with them was my normal oil and filter change every 5000 miles). Also they have made comments like *did all these different parts go bad at the same time?* How do I know what is gone bad and why??!! Every time I call in they tell me someone will call my dealership today and it has not happened for the past 2 weeks. Save your money and don't do business with these people.

We purchased an extended warranty for $2,350 from this company two years ago. We now need to file a claim. So far no one has returned our call, we sit on hold forever. The only people who answer as the sales people and they transfer us to the no response customer service line. Avoid this scam operation like the plague.
