What is CarSoup.com?
CarSoup connects shoppers to new and used cars for sale. The site also provides listing services for private sellers and dealers. When sellers list a car with CarSoup, the site will guide them through a few simple steps to create an ad to help sell the car quickly and conveniently. In addition to cars, CarSoup lists boats, RVs, motorcycles, ATVs and snowmobiles.
Package options include Standard, “Souper” and free listings for selling to a dealer. The Standard package comes with an ad that runs until the car sells, a bill of sale, a featured listing and up to 24 photos. Upgrade to the Souper package to get a vehicle history report. The free dealer listing comes with no obligation.
Buyers can browse cars for sale by category, make and model, price, color, year, mileage, cylinder count, transmission type, seller type (private or dealer) and location. Dealers sell new and used cars; private sellers sell used cars. You can sign up for emails with the latest listings.
How does CarSoup work?
Before you can access the seller features on CarSoup, you will need to create a free account. To get started, all you need is the vehicle identification number (VIN). The site automatically fills in all the details about the vehicle and shows you how to take industry-standard photos. Your paid listing stays active until the car sells.
For buyers, CarSoup aggregates listings of vehicles for sale. When you find a car you like, you can click on the listing to take you to the dealer’s website. You can save vehicles you like and track their prices. CarSoup also accepts applications from dealers who want to sell on the site and save money on advertising.
CarSoup costs
For sellers, the Standard listing package with CarSoup costs $15; the Souper package is $30.
CarSoup can connect buyers to special finance dealers that help with financing for customers with bankruptcy, bad credit, no credit history, repo or other credit challenges.

Can I finance a vehicle from CarSoup?

Do we recommend CarSoup?
Listing a car for sale on CarSoup.com is inexpensive and easy, but if you’re looking to purchase a used car from a private seller, you’ll have to wade through lots of dealerships. The website is dominated by dealers who use it as an inexpensive way to list their cars for sale. Overall, CarSoup provides an efficient way to compare dealer prices.
