I had just gotten my American Dream policy -- then I got a notification on my readout that my 4wd needed service...found out it wasn't just service, an important part needed replacing. I called my American Dream customer service department and explained the problem. They explained they would need information from my mechanic in order to process the claim. My mechanic sent them the picture and information and after verifying all, my claim was paid and my Suburban was repaired -- I was very pleased with the service I received from the customer service manager (sorry, I forgot his name!)...so happy I had signed up for an American Dream Auto Protect policy -- if I hadn't I'd have been in "duck soup"!!!

My experience purchasing a warranty from American Dream Auto Protect has been smooth so far. Although I haven't used the warranty yet, everything regarding the sign-up was straightforward and easy.
As for the plan options, I found them satisfactory and well-suited for my needs. The upfront cost and coverage details seem reasonable. My vehicle is currently in the shop, and I anticipate using the warranty once it's ready, but I don't foresee any problems at this point. Overall, the sign-up process deserves a commendable rating based on my experience.

I first came across American Dream Auto Protect online and was impressed by their good ratings. When I contacted them, everything seemed to work smoothly, so I decided to sign up. The sign-up process was straightforward. I had to purchase the plan and wait 30 days before using it. The coverage includes a $100 deductible and is bumper to bumper. The representative was extremely helpful, providing his personal number and advising me to call him if I had any problems.
If I were to rate my sign-up experience, I would give it a 5 out of 5. I would definitely recommend American Dream Auto Protect to friends and family to avoid hefty repair bills. The coverage is important to me because it ensures I won’t have to pay a large sum out-of-pocket all at once if my car breaks down.

I initially discovered American Dream Auto Protect by searching online. They were highly rated, and during my interaction, the representative explained everything about the contract clearly, assuring me that all would be covered. This explanation convinced me to sign up with them. However, there was a hiccup when I was told my payment would be adjusted to mid-month but instead, the automatic withdrawal was processed at the beginning, which was unexpected and a bit inconvenient. I've emailed to request the end of automatic payments so I can handle them manually. As for customer service and the plan options, they were satisfactory. Although I haven't made any claims yet, based on the purchase experience, I'd rate them a 4 out of 5.

I found American Dream Auto Protect through a Google search. Their warranty services seemed to fit my needs better compared to others, so I decided to go with them. Although I don't recall many details about my interaction with their representative, I felt they were professional. As someone who is generally skeptical, I would rate my sign-up experience as a 4 out of 5. This isn't a reflection of any major issues, but rather my cautious nature. I've had past experiences with warranties that didn't turn out well, though I don't remember specifics about those.
Right now, I haven't used American Dream's services, so I don't have a solid basis for recommending them to others. I'm waiting to see how things go if I ever need to use the warranty. One thing to note is that after paying your first premium, you have to wait 30 days before you can use the service. This seems to be an industry-wide policy.

I found American Dream Auto Protect online while looking for a warranty company for my wife's truck. I considered two companies before deciding on American Dream due to its pricing. The representative who signed me up was excellent, doing everything he could to make the sale. The understanding I have of the program is that it offers bumper-to-bumper coverage that starts after a 30-day waiting period. I chose this coverage because we have a high-value vehicle that would be costly to repair without proper warranty protection. Overall, my experience with American Dream Auto Protect has been very satisfying, and I would recommend them to friends.

I recently signed up with American Dream Auto Protect for an extended warranty. Although my initial interaction was positive, with a good service experience, I encountered issues with follow-up communication. The rep I spoke with, advised me to contact him for any inquiries, but despite calling him about 3 times for assistance with VIN and mileage submission, he never called back. Fortunately, I managed to get the needed information to their customer service.
I chose American Dream after researching other companies like Endurance and CarShield because they offer a month-to-month plan instead of locking into a long-term contract. This flexibility appealed to me, especially since it includes a stable rate of $190 a month over five years without being bound by a contract.
Overall, if rating the sign-up experience, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5, primarily due to the lapses in communication.

I first discovered American Dream Auto Protect online and was drawn to the service because of its high customer satisfaction ratings. Before deciding, I researched two or three other companies, but the positive feedback on hassle-free coverage was a deciding factor for me. I didn't want any issues regarding what was covered, and it was important the company was perceived as reliable.
The rep who helped me sign up was professional and knowledgeable. I'd rate the signup experience a 4 out of 5. I pursued this coverage because my car is aging, and auto repairs can be very costly. Having insurance coverage gives me peace of mind, knowing I won't be burdened by major repair expenses.

I came across American Dream Auto Protect while browsing the Internet. Currently, my Cadillac is covered under their policy, which I've had for about 30 to 40 days. The enrollment process was straightforward. However, I wish they had confirmed my coverage status after receiving all my information, perhaps through an email.
I downloaded the policy details from their website, which was convenient. The coverage and plan details seemed satisfactory.
I'm hopeful for a positive experience with American Dream Auto Protect if I ever need to make a claim. Based on my purchasing experience alone, I would rate them a four out of five. Overall, it has been a smooth process, and I look forward to a good relationship with the company.

I heard about American Dream Auto Protect through an advertisement on my phone. I've been cautious about other companies because I've heard they might not pay off claims as promised, so I researched a bit before deciding. Signing up with American Dream was a good experience; the representative provided all the necessary details, and I felt well-informed. The coverage started immediately and it's for about five years.
I'd rate my signup experience highly, a 5 out of 5. I'd definitely recommend trying it out to friends or family to see how it works for them. Having extended coverage is essential because car repairs can be unexpectedly expensive, and it's good to have that peace of mind.

I recently signed up with American Dream Auto Protect after finding them through an online application on my phone. They were the first among several companies to respond. I own a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder and, although I haven’t had to make a claim yet, I was pleased with the sign-up process. It was quick and as smooth as a sales pitch could be. A representative helped set everything up, which was convenient.
However, I felt that the information on plan options and costs could have been more transparent. I would have preferred all the details upfront instead of being upsold multiple times. Despite this, my overall experience has been positive so far.

I had my 2019 Ford Expedition Limited covered with American Dream last December and it was easy signing up. I paid 170 to sign up. Some warranties are better in terms of not having a deductible. After paying the companies all this money, you’re gonna have to pay something else out of pocket when you have a problem. Granted if it's a large ticket item, it's well worth it. But I'm not sure if it's something that's not catastrophic that you could do without if you had to. Even for minor repairs, I might still need to pay a deductible of $100 or more, which makes me question the overall return on investment of the warranty. I’ll be filing a claim soon. There’s something wrong with the screen that takes care of what channel you wanna listen to. It’s slow. You click on it and it won’t move. It doesn't do anything so, you'll hit it again and then it finally catches up. The guy said it probably needs an update on the software.

I took a platinum pack and it covered most of the things that would usually come up. Frank, the salesperson, articulated the coverage very well, and the process was straightforward and without any hidden items. Everything is good. The only concern I have is there is no portal or website for raising claims or signing up. It was all a verbal, telephone thing.

Forbes rated American Dream really high, and Sabrina, their rep was excellent. Although she said the deductible would be $100, but it turned out it's 150, which is kinda huge. Also, I've made a claim and I'm very disappointed about that. My mechanic called the company, and I think it took one or two days to even get a response. But they sent me an email saying where to email the work order, and then my mechanic sent it in, and then they said they didn't have it. So I sent it in, and then while I was on the phone, I made sure they got it right away. I was told it would be 24 to 48 hours before there would be an approval, and it was a late Friday morning, and I was like, “Really? So how long will that be? Does that include weekends?”
The rep was like, “No. It's Monday to Friday. Probably, it'll try to be Monday at the latest, so it would be all of Friday and then all of Monday.” Late Monday, I got an email that said an inspector would be going to the mechanic’s shop within 24 to 48 hours to inspect the car. I was like, “What?” That was more days. I've been out of my car for now way over a week, and then I was told that I wouldn't be able to be confident about rental reimbursement. When I was sold on the policy, it was that I would have rental car coverage, but it wasn't explained that I would have to pay for the rental car and then get reimbursed afterwards. If I don't have any money and I need my car or a rental car, that's an issue too.
It was Thursday and I was like, “Oh, my gosh. So I haven't received an approval yet, and this has been since Friday that I sent the work estimate in.” It's the first time that I've had a claim, so I can sort of understand why someone needs to inspect it first because they got to be sure they're not being cheated. However, if that's the kind of policy that's in place, which is okay, then that policy needs to be triggered immediately at the beginning of the claim, so the 24 to 48 hours includes the inspection and not the end of the 24 to 48 hours when you're supposed to have an approval or you're promised an approval that that would be the answer one way or another. Then you have to wait another 24 to 48 hours for an inspector to come out, and that adds even more time whether you get an actual response.
Also, my welcome email when I got the policy said, “Oh, congratulations. Welcome. I will take care of you. We're available to you 24/7.” I called to check on my claim at 8 p.m. a couple nights ago, and the guy that answered the phone had a facetious attitude, and when I called the phone number, it gave me the option to talk to the customer service. When I push option 3, that would bring me to customer service. So I pressed option 3, and when I got to him, he answered very friendly. “So, will I be helping you with new service today?” I said, “Well, no. I'm trying to get ahold of customer service.” He was like, “Oh, well, then you'll need to call during regular business hours.” It was as if in a friendly but facetious manner. It was really insulting. I told him, “Well, I'm trying to get an update on my claim, and my welcome email for this policy said that y'all are available 24/7.”
He said, “Well, not for anything like that, Only if you want to get new service. Then we're available for you 24/7.” It was in a fake cheerful way like I was talking to a cheerleader that thinks you're beneath them. So I was like, “Well, my welcome email said 24/7, so let me understand this. The only thing that's 24/7 availability is that if I were to buy a new car warranty policy.” He said, “Yeah, I guess so. Yes, that's true.” I said, “Okay. Well, that's not what my welcome email says, so that's disappointing.” He was like, “Okay. Well, you'll have to call them during regular business hours when they are open.”
I'm more available in the evenings, so it's not 24/7 and when it's best for me. Other than that, I really like Sabrina and the person that helped me break down the second half of the policy payment. I paid for half of it, and then the total of my second half of the policy payment will be paid in six payments. That guy, Calvin, was very friendly. Sabrina's incredible. I love her. She's so friendly and patient, willing to spend a lot of time on details and call me back when I can't call or can't talk, and I was sold to without feeling sold to, which is great.

Everyone's car buying/warranty buying experience is different. I had an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. I was told by a sales rep he'd help me out and do whatever he could to earn my business, but instead of listening to my wants he told me that buy through the dealer has its flaws which I agreed. Before I could say I had a deductible he goes on about how I'd have to pay out of pocket for repairs. "The only reason you got that price is because something is hidden.". You have 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason I wouldn't buy from this company but everyone's experience is different. Dan V

I found American Dream Auto Protect on the internet as I’m no longer able to repair my own cars due to a disability. I initially chose them after reviewing several companies, around 6 to 7, though I eventually discontinued using their service. My main issue was with the limited operating hours of customer service. If my car broke down outside of their standard business hours, I couldn’t reach anyone, rendering their roadside assistance useless. Cars don’t conveniently break down just between 8 and 5. I felt the service was misleading—promising support that was not accessible when needed. I rate my experience as a "0" because, in my perspective, they don’t deserve to exist due to these shortcomings and feel like a scam. I wouldn't recommend American Dream Auto Protect to anyone.

I own a 2014 Chrysler 200S, and when my warranty was about to expire, I looked for extended coverage to avoid paying out of pocket for repairs. After researching a few companies, I chose American Dream Auto. Initially, the representative I spoke with assured me that my car was completely covered, including everything related to brakes. However, later on, I learned that normal wear and tear, such as brakes and rotors, was not covered, which was disappointing since I had frequent issues with them.
I've had to replace the car's rotors four times and frequently changed the brakes, even though I drive carefully. This led me to suspect a possible defect in the vehicle itself. I haven't checked for any manufacturer recalls, but I learned it's worth looking into as it could be fixed for free or reimbursed if it's a recall issue.
So far, I haven't used the extended warranty, so I can't rate my experience fully. However, I'd give American Dream a 3 based on my sign-up experience. While I can't say anything strongly positive or negative yet, I find their pricing for an extended warranty quite reasonable. Overall, the customer service experience was decent, but there were inconsistencies in information regarding coverage. The website was also user-friendly, which I would rate a 4.

I recently purchased a car warranty from American Dream Auto Protect and my experience has been mixed. Initially, I was interested in the warranty due to their Black Friday sale, but my encounter with their sales representative, Kate, was frustratingly persistent and pushy. Despite my request to wait before processing my payment, my card was charged without my explicit authorization, which was very unsettling. The supervisor I later spoke to confirmed that the sale was mishandled, but I decided to stay with them, hoping for a resolution.
What appealed to me was their promise of a bumper-to-bumper warranty, the use of new parts, and the ability to choose any mechanic, which is crucial as I have three grandchildren to care for. Unfortunately, after the initial purchase, communication from American Dream Auto Protect has been lacking. I received minimal follow-up information, leaving me uncertain about where to go or what to expect.
While I remain hopeful that they will fulfill their promises, my initial experience was dampened by the poor sales tactics and lack of communication. I chose to keep the warranty, anticipating that my concerns will be addressed if I need to use their services. Overall, I would rate my experience as a 3 out of 5.

Initially, I explored several companies but found issues with their contract terms. Upon speaking with a representative from American Dream, I was impressed by his knowledge and kind demeanor—he wasn't pushy at all. Despite being relatively new to the job, he had a deep understanding of the company and its product, contributing to a positive experience.
We agreed on a $100 deductible, which, although not zero as I hoped, covered all major concerns. However, I did notice one catch in the fine print; the contract terminates once the payouts reach the vehicle's initial value. This language feels ambiguous, though may be common among other companies' contracts, so I'm a bit uneasy about it.
This coverage is vital as it's likely our last car, a Cadillac with very low mileage. We plan on taking trips and the peace of mind knowing that unexpected repairs are covered is valuable.
If I were to rate the sign-up experience, I’d give it a 5. I’d definitely recommend looking at other contracts, but American Dream should be strongly considered for its good coverage and solid company reputation.

Getting extended coverage was crucial for me since it was my first time buying a used car, and I wanted to ensure I was protected against potential issues. As for their customer service, I'd rate them a 4 out of 5 because my representative didn't return a call recently. However, when I reached out through their main number, I quickly got someone on the phone.
Overall, I rate their coverage and pricing a 5 out of 5 based on my experience so far and my journey with American Dream Auto Protect has been positive.

I chose American Dream Auto Protect for my extended warranty because they offered a very competitive cost. The sales agent I spoke with was very satisfactory. He answered my questions. I was also very happy on the way he gave me the first quote and how he responded very quickly to do an upgrade when I declined the initial offer. American Dream worked with me on the price. Overall, my experience signing up with them was excellent, and I would rate it 5 stars.

I recently had an experience with American Dream Auto Protect when I signed up for a warranty for my GMC Acadia. I decided to go with them mainly because their pricing was competitive, and they offered more years of coverage compared to other companies. I only got a quote from another competitor, Endurance, but American Dream seemed like the better option.
The representative I dealt with, Samantha, was exceptional. I found it impressive that when I called back to add another vehicle, I got the same representative again. She was very knowledgeable and addressed all my concerns thoroughly. For instance, I asked about a specific feature in diesel trucks, the DEF system, which we had deleted from our vehicle. She confirmed that its removal wouldn't affect our warranty coverage as it wasn't covered anyway. Her clear and consistent communication reassured me.
While I haven't had to make any claims yet, the experience with signing up and clarifying details was positive. Overall, my communication with American Dream, particularly through Samantha, was pleasant and professional.

I recently had a highly unsatisfactory experience with American Dream Auto Protect. I took my car to the shop to be serviced and they found a problem. It was six days beyond the initial 30-day period. However, the company refused to honor the contract, citing a mileage clause I didn't know about. They didn't think it was legitimate and thought it was pre-existing, but I just bought the car in October. It passed all inspections and why would I buy a car with an issue? I didn't understand the whole process. They provided no valid reason for their denial of coverage.
As a result, I was forced to pay for the repairs out of pocket, and my contract with American Dream was subsequently canceled. This experience was extremely disappointing. I was surprised they didn't honor the contract and I'm in the process of writing it up on the Better Business Bureau because I didn't get what I paid for. Overall, my interactions with American Dream Auto Protect were marked by poor business practices.

I recently signed up with American Dream Auto Protect. What made me choose them over another auto warranty company was the comfort I felt during the sign-up process. I liked the person that was talking to me. I already have another warranty company that's been difficult to cancel, but the representative from American Dream was very reassuring.
The sales agent was impressive because he was willing to thoroughly answer all of my questions. Unlike some others who might brush you off or say you'll find out later, he took the time to look into my queries. Financially, things are tight with rent increasing, but I had to have an auto warranty and he worked with me to find the best solution. I felt like more than just another customer signing up to them.
I was satisfied with the coverage American Dream offered, and I appreciated that the agent didn't rush me through the process. He spent plenty of time with me answering my questions and providing detailed explanations. Overall, my sign-up experience was excellent, and I would rate it as 5 stars.

I recently signed up for an auto warranty with American Dream Auto Protect after considering several companies. I was initially attracted to them due to a positive consumer opinion I found online. However, I encountered an issue when I learned that their policy required an upfront payment, which wasn't clear during the signup process. This was frustrating as I was expecting a more flexible payment plan. Thankfully, I was offered a month-to-month option, which suited me for the time being, although I'm open to changing providers if a better option arises.
The sales agent was professional and informative, explaining options clearly once we started the process. Despite this, I felt misled because the upfront payment was not disclosed initially. On a positive note, I appreciated the coverage they offered for my high-mileage vehicle, as it extended up to 100,000 miles, which is quite comprehensive compared to others in the market.
While the overall cost was competitive, the lack of an installment plan was a downside, especially compared to other companies like Platinum Warranty which cost more annually but offered payment options. In terms of my overall experience, I'd rate the signup a 4 out of 5. The customer service was excellent, deserving a 5, as was the coverage. However, the price and payment structure left me feeling in limbo, so I would rate that aspect a 3. I hope they consider providing clearer pricing information upfront to help customers make informed decisions.

I provided my vehicle’s VIN number and mileage details as requested, but I never received any confirmation or proof of my warranty. Despite my repeated attempts to contact David and later the company directly via email, all I received was a generic form describing what a warranty might cover. It's been two months, and I still have no documentation proving my warranty. American Dream Auto Protect has continued to deduct payments from my account without providing the promised warranty verification. This lack of response and acknowledgment has left me deeply unsatisfied and concerned about the company's service quality. I either want my warranty documentation or a refund, as I am not confident in the service they are supposed to provide.

It's been a few days since I submitted the claim, and I'm concerned about the delay, even though it's the holiday season. If I were on the road and the steering completely failed, it could be dangerous.
My air conditioner went out before I had a warranty, costing me $1,800, and now with the steering issue estimated at $2,300, having a warranty is crucial given the high repair costs. While American Dream Auto Protect has been good so far in terms of service, I wish the approval process was quicker. If I had to rate my experience, I'd give them a four. I'm eagerly waiting for them to get back to me this afternoon, as they promised, so I can resolve the situation without further delay. I looked at their ratings and American Dream was second to Endurance, so I looked at those two. I signed up with American Dream in November and the rep from told me the coverage starts 30 days after purchase.
From a sales perspective, American Dream seems to offer the kind of coverage people would want and they would wanna go directly through them as opposed to somebody's trying to finance it for them. It sounds like it's comprehensive and a worthwhile investment. That's what I told my wife who's also looking for a warranty service. They cover everything as far as I can tell. They had very good reviews online, which my husband pays attention to. When we called Endurance, they were arrogant and rude, and they were nonstop calling us. They were awful. Even if they were cheaper, we weren't gonna go with them because of their attitude.
We kept calling American Dream back and forth because I wanted to see things online and read it. We ended up with the same guy every time we called. He was really nice and he answered all of our questions. For the most part, the only thing that they didn't cover that Endurance covered was the key fobs. Our policy went into effect on November 8th, and it's five years and 75,000 miles.
One thing that does bother me is they sent A piece of paper in the mail and it says, “Vehicle Service Program. Definitions” but they didn't give us a card with the name American Dream on it with a phone number. If I get in an accident or I'm out of state or something happens, how am I gonna know who to call? When I did the search, I did the quote. American Dream Auto Protect immediately called me and said, “We heard you're looking for a car warranty. We have these different plans.” I said, “I would like the platinum plan.” The rep said, “Okay. That's 170 a month.” I said, “Okay. That's cheaper than what I'm paying now.” He said, “We need a $200 deposit.” I gave him that and they sent me my plan and number. It had a start date as to when I could use the policy. I got it on October 2nd. My start date was November 2nd. When I took my car to the shop, even though it went for something different, but when they did the lookover on my car, the dealership said, “You might wanna get this fixed and this fixed.” I said, “My warranty covers it. I should be able to use it. I waited for 30 days.” But they told me I couldn't.
It was the arm controls to the tires. It was a suspension issue. But my car didn't go in for a suspension issue. I had already made an appointment to bring her in because she hesitated to start. They said I needed a new battery. I said, “That's not nothing.” When you take your car to BMW, they do a thing they call a 10-point check. They would send a video of everything that they checked, and not saying that you have to fix it, but they just let me know what was wrong with the car.
American Dream said to me that the suspension issue was a preexisting issue. I said, “That shouldn't matter because when I paid $370, I waited for 30 days because that's what it said in the contract.” They sent me the thing that said I could use my policy after November 2nd. They denied it. I said, “I never told you guys my car was new. On top of that, my car didn't go in there for a suspension issue. It went in there for something else. So, if BMW is telling me that I need to fix this issue and then I go look on my policy, and I paid for that, then I feel as though you guys should approve the claim.” American Dream's rep said, “No. We're not approving the claim.”
I said, “That makes absolutely no sense. I read over the policy when I first got it. There was a 30-day blackout. You could not use the policy before November 2nd.” She said, “The policy just went in effect November 2nd. And you took your car to the shop November 4th.” I said, “My car was already had an appointment to go to the shop. Whether I had the policy or not, I would have paid to get it fixed. But I have a policy. I gave you all $370. I want my money back.” They said, “We're not giving you a refund.” I said, “I'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Ain't no way in the world you're gonna tell me that you're gonna deny my claim and then also not give me my money back,” which made no sense when I stood on the fact that I was able to use the policy.
It didn't say that I had to wait another month after November 2nd in order to use it. It said 30 days. I waited for 30 days. Even though if I didn't have the policy, I would have paid for it anyway. I don't want this because they are not holding up the end of their bargain. It was funny because when I went to BMW, I said, “I have a warranty company.” The rep asked who it was and I said, “American Dream.” He said, “I never heard of that.
Right after I hung up, I made the complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I got an email from American Dream saying that they would refund me the first month payment $170, which they did, and would refund me the $200 for the initial deposit. But I don't like them. What made me leave was they said, “We can give you a better rate than Endurance.” I sat down and read their policy after I cancelled it, and they don't even cover half of the stuff that Endurance covers. They don't cover windows, tires, and electric. They cover regular stuff. They don't cover anything small. I should have just stuck with Endurance.
BMW said that I had a leak from my oil gasket. American Dream said, “We don't cover oil gaskets.” When I looked over, I was, “Nothing. Not even windows.” American Dream doesn't cover anything. If you have power windows, they don't cover that. They covered the basic stuff. I said, “I'm paying $170 for this? The policy is really trash.” Stay away from them.

If this is the American Dream, I'm moving to Canada. Steer clear of this company at all costs. What an absolute nightmare. Even with a loss that is LISTED under the PLATINUM protection plan coverages sheet, and a letter from the dealership where the repairs were made, confirming that said damage was in fact at no fault of our own- the coverage was still denied. We are out almost 8 THOUSAND dollars after paying over 4 grand for the warranty itself. The numerous poor reviews on just their website alone should speak for themselves, but I will absolutely tell everyone I can to steer clear of this company, who won't do what they say and when you speak up about it (via online review), will have their legal team contact you to BRIBE you (with $250 - HA!) to take it down, in hopes of maintaining their FAKE 5- star rating. Save your money and your sanity.

This company is extremely shady—make sure to read your contract thoroughly. They are focused solely on sales. Once you're signed up, it's denied claims, long hold times (45+ min), and empty promises. It’s a waste of money. I wish I had researched this company beforehand. They engage in fraudulent business practices and have fake online reviews. For more accurate reviews, check the BBB and Yelp. I called American Dream and they gave me a price. It was a little bit high-pressured, but I'm okay with that to a point. The problem is that they were supposed to send out the packet and I ordered that somewhere around October 4th. It was gonna come to my New Jersey permanent address. But it never showed up. When I spoke to the rep initially, I told him, "My vehicle is not in my possession. 'Cause it was in Virginia and I'm in New Jersey. For the mileage. And I don't wanna get ripped on the fact of the mileage." He said, "No problem. We can start it December or January. Call me." I said, "Fine." Then he told me he would send all of the paperwork. But I have not seen it.
I called them before I left New Jersey because I'm a snowbird. I live up there about eight months of the year and I come back to Virginia just visit my family and my husband for about a month at a time. But it still had not shown up there. So, I called them and they said, "Oh, we'll send it to your Virginia address." I said, "Okay." That was on a Thursday at the end of the month. They told me that it would be overnighted. But they did not see anything, hide or hair since my husband keep a look out for it. I got down here in Virginia and it has not shown up.
I called them again today and I'm a little pissed because they charged my credit card, but no paperwork. The rep said, "Oh, it went out on Monday." I said, "First of all, I called you last week. You told me it was gonna go out overnight." She said, "Well, no, it goes out in five business days." I said, "Well, you charged my freaking credit card. I'm gonna put a hold on it." But I was told again that it would be here in five days. I got a sort of contract in the mail, but I have no ID card. It said I need to reply within seven days.
My plan covers everything from soup to nuts. For the price, it was not bad. My one question was if I have a problem, who does the calling? Is it me or American Dream, or the place I'm bringing it to? The rep said, "The place you're bringing it to." I said, "That's fine." But at the moment, I'm dissatisfied because of what's going on.

I was looking for something for the second car and to see if I was gonna get a discount for when I'm ready to purchase for my other car. I purchased the warranty for the second car from American Dream and I was scared at first because I didn't get any paperwork for a while. But then I got it and everything seemed cool and legit. It’s auto pay so American Dream just took it out of my account. The guy said it was a month-to-month and I could cancel at any time. Another reason why I got it is because I don't wanna be locked into something and then they don't pay for something. I have everything here now so I feel much better. Everything's good and I'm gonna continue with the warranty for my second car.
I'm happy with American Dream so far but the guy I enrolled with told me that hotels are covered if the car breaks down and that I don't have to pay out of pocket for a rental. But everything is out of pocket. So all of those things were misleading. There is reimbursement. But this is my daughter's car. I didn't wanna get something that I had to get reimbursed for because it would be out of my pocket, not hers. So, I was looking for something that pays upfront. When I talked to customer service as well as when I got the declaration, it was not true. I have to pay first and then, they’ll reimburse me. But it’s just for the car and not the hotel.

He started telling me about the service, answered any questions I had and sent me helpful information. He was very professional and had a lot of interpersonal skills. He connected with me and we shared some camaraderie and rapport while I was deciding on which company I wanted to go with because it took a couple of weeks. This process took six weeks because I was looking at different vehicles. He gave me different quotes and was helpful throughout the entire process. He was very easy to reach if I needed to. American Dream had the best rate and most coverage and so far, everything's been great.
The vehicle was very well-kept. However, the maintenance and repair for this model of vehicle is tremendous. So it would make more sense to have an extended coverage. I take good care of my vehicles but if something were to go wrong, then I would feel good knowing that the majority of the vehicle is covered. The only things I have to worry about are oil changes, tires, brakes and motors. Everything else mechanical and electrical will be covered. So, I feel confident about that, being able to drive the car. I don't drive crazy, but you never know what's going on these days. So it's good to have insurance. I've recommended American Dream to one of my friends who's thinking about buying a car. Signing up with American Dream was smooth. It was a lot of negotiating back and forth and finding out that they have a whole lot of wiggle room in terms of what they can offer you with coverage, price, and the flexibility of adding and dropping certain things to meet our needs. We wanted bumper-to-bumper coverage and with anything that could go wrong. The most important would be with the engine, transmission, drivetrain and air conditioning, just the most expensive stuff that could go wrong.
American Dream is very accessible. The only thing is, we're doing an installment plan and the rep told me that I would be able to push that for a month. Because of an issue I had getting surgery one month and just having some extra expenses, I called in to ask them to push it to the next month. When you sign up, they give you a contract number but they do not send you the contract with your policy number and valid date with the vehicle that's covered under so you have no idea of what is covered in writing. They can say this and that, but you have no documentation to go against them, or to even know how to proceed if you have a claim. They only send you this generalized document that shows what different plans they have and what are covered under those different plans. I was on the phone with them the other day trying to request a contract, but the guy that I spoke to was super rude. He even hung up on me. When he called me back, I told him I'm gonna dispute. When the guy at American Dream talked to me to buy me into their program, I asked what if a tranny goes out after 30 days. They told me, after 30 days, I'm covered. It doesn't matter if I paid in 100, 400, 300. I took their word for that. But that felt like false advertisement to me. They wouldn't cover my claim. It was long after 30 days but they told me I didn't pay in enough. I ended up having to get rid of the truck that I really liked. I bought a lot of new stuff on that truck and I ended up losing money on it. They owe me for the losses I had incurred.
I've seen transmissions go out brand new in 2,000 miles. The truck had 59,800 miles when I bought it used. I put a little over 2,000 miles on it and the tranny had issues. No motor is gonna tell you that they're getting ready to blow or they're getting ready to drop a bearing. It just happened. How is that a preexisting problem? How am I supposed to know what's preexisting? You can't but that's what American Dream went with. I almost dropped them. If the company wouldn't have traded me off for a brand new '24 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I probably would have gotten a little more madder. The people I have talked to have been good to me. But when it comes to claims, American Dream doesn't wanna pay for things that they should have paid for when they told me they would.

American Dream Auto Protect's website seemed fine. The rep was very attentive and explanatory. It was a very easy process. I asked about the coverage and what it covered, whether I could use my coverage at any particular dealership that I chose and was there a limit on how much the coverage would protect me for. I've been in a situation before where the coverage only covered up to a certain amount in labor. So if a dealership's labor is $80 an hour, the other insurance company that I've had experience with only covered up to $50 an hour. I was told that they would cover the full amount of the labor. However, the follow through after paying in full was lacking.
I haven't received anything formal about the coverage that I have. The only thing I received was some sort of document that explained coverage. But it doesn't have my name and any of the cause information. I started to believe that American Dream was not a reputable company that took my money and has no plans on giving me anything in return when the time comes.

We did the process with American Dream Auto Protect as I was serving dinner. So, I was half there. But the policy was something that I knew I needed. I felt comfortable with the rep. I trusted his voice, he explained stuff, and answered every question. He knew all the answers. I called him and he called me back. He explained everything. He let me get it out. I have the platinum. I have something that would be everything except tires and windshield wipers type of thing. It was expensive. I hoped I could do month-by-month. But I hope it's everything the rep said it was.

I'm keeping my American Dream warranty because I've invested into it, but I'm not really satisfied with it. I chose to go with them based upon the sale and the sales pitch that their sales representative gave me. But when I first signed up for the warranty, there was no issue with my vehicle at all. Then, I took in my car into the shop to get an oil change and the service technician said that this work needed to be done. It was denied by American Dream and this was past the time that the salesperson had explained to me that my account would go into effect so many days after I signed up after my first payment. Had I known that they would deny my claim, I would have never signed up with American Dream. But five months later, I'm still driving the vehicle with the same issue that the dealer said that I had.
Another thing is, I asked American Dream to please take the credit card that I had on file off and I gave them another credit card to use. But the following month, they charged the card that I asked them to take off the fee for the payment. So I had to take time out again and call them to have them remove it again. I'm beginning to believe that the only thing American Dream wants is my money and they don't give a damn about me. If something goes wrong with my car now and I take it in for a repair, I'm afraid that they are going to deny the charges and I'm going to have to pay for that. They also told me that I can't file a claim for the same thing that they previously denied. They said that if something goes wrong with my car in the future, they're not going to cover it because it was an existing issue. But I want to know how it was existing when I was continuously driving my vehicle. In fact, I've driven my vehicle out of town with no issues.

Breakdowns can be very expensive, and since I can afford warranty coverage on my truck, I did not want it to be not covered just like I have insurance on my house. I have a 2016 truck with fairly low mileage, and I wanted to make sure it was covered for the next five years. The sales guy was good to me. He was polite and helped me out. I regret choosing American Dream. They have fantastic ratings online but I found out after signing up that they were not all that great. I paid for the Silver Platinum Plan and the motor ended up blowing on my truck. I sent in the claim but they completely forgot about it. Nobody replied to me or did anything. When I called after three weeks of my truck sitting at the dealership, nobody knew what I was talking about and they didn't even know that I had sent in a claim. Then they finally found my email and within two seconds denied it. Their customer service was terrible. They just point-blank said, "Get lost." I was hung up on repeatedly trying to figure out what to do.
I even explained to them that the truck had just been serviced so it had all new spark plugs, all new coils, and the oil was just changed. Everything had been done to the truck. It just came out of the shop and it was random that the motor blew. The dealership told me, "It wasn't a pre-existing thing. It was just sporadic. Sometimes the motors just blow like that. You can have a little shard or something can hit it from the road." I offered to send American Dream all the paperwork and Ford showing that the truck has a clean bill but they just denied all of it. They would not even give me a second thought. I have not been very happy with them. I've even tried to cancel the policy but they still continue to charge my card.

I heard about American Dream on the internet, and I chose them because they were supposed to be the best. I'm unhappy with the results though. My policy doesn't cover turbos and I have a twin turbo car. They know what the car is. They looked it up before they sold me the policy. "Yup, we can cover that." I also had many conversations before I even bought the policy just to make sure. They said, "No, everything's covered. The only thing you pay is $150 deductible." "Okay, sounds good. I can go to any dealership?" "Yup, you can go anywhere." "All right." I had something done on my BMW, and it ended up costing me $900 out-of-pocket.
American Dream doesn't mention that they don't pay for a bunch of stuff that's related to the repair. They changed front end pieces in my car and it takes an alignment to figure all that out and straighten everything out after the fact. They didn't pay for the alignment. They only pay for certain things. When I complained, they said "Well, read the policy." I said, "Well, this isn't what you guys told me." "You have to read the policy." I said, "Okay." Customer support was very rude. I'm not satisfied, and if I ask for my money back, it's gonna be a big problem as well. I'd tell people to read the fine print.

For all of you out there you MUST avoid this company! I have a very light foot print on social media, but for this I am making an exception! Briefly, my son purchased the top tier service level back in late March. He paid the premiums as expected including the first 30 days where there was no coverage (their vetting period). Fast forward to July, he had a vent tube failure that is related to the super charger (this is an 2015 Audi SQ5). This failure causes a loud squealing noise at low RPM. He would not have purchased the car in this condition....no one would. He took it to the dealer (ASE certified mechanic) per the contract. Out of hand they denied the claim citing a pre-existing condition.
Folks, covering a used car means EVERYTHING is a pre-existing condition. There was nothing wrong when he bought this from the dealer - this is should be a covered repair! I even called into their sales department as a new customer looking for coverage details and they confirmed this is a covered service! I have emailed them twice (they won't take my calls anymore) given the emails I was provided and tried others trying to capture their CEO. After two lengthy emails and two months of waiting on a reply I get nothing! Nothing!
DO NOT support any company that operates in bad faith. They happily take your money and hide behind the "pre-existing condition" line to avoid honoring their end of the contract. Apparently $1,800 is worth it to them! This is a synopsis of my experience, I have names and more that I am keeping off this post to keep this brief but their representatives and sales team are profoundly unhelpful. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BUSINESS!

We called & the message is that they are only open M-F 9-5 for "estimates" for claims. But they will sell you a policy 24/7. Nothing in their documents indicates this information. So, today I will pay for my service myself and try to submit my claim Monday and HOPE that they reimburse ME. But, I was just plain LIED to repeatedly. But any other warranty company wouldn't care if you just drove off the lot with your car. If something went wrong, they're going to cover a majority of it. And the issue with my car was on a gear shift. You don't just tear a gear shift up in a car.
The reason they gave for not covering it was that it could have already been broken when I got the warranty. I had the warranty with them going on three months and they were trying to say that I wasn't driving my car for three months. But that's not true. So, I'm not giving my money to them anymore. Finally, today, I said I have to get a car. So, I would have to get a car this morning and I'm hoping that everything is approved. If not, I'll be very disappointed and I'll probably stop paying the company and be through with American Dream if things are not covered. I was satisfied with the agent that I deal with on a regular basis. The sign-up process was fine but that doesn't help you when you have a policy and you finally get to the point where you're gonna know whether you made a good choice or not. I'm at that point now. So far, I've spent money and this is the first time I have a claim in. I wanna see what happens.

I got the best policy that American Dream had out there and I'm happy with the coverage. Signing up with them went well. They really worked with me on the policy from what originally they came in to offer, and due to my financial situation, they got me into a payment program that was affordable. So they worked well with me.

My customer service representative was amazing. He took his time in explaining the various options I had. I did not feel pressured at all. His sincerity and patience was admirable. I’m very happy with my plan selection. I will definitely recommend this company. They are considerate of your needs and will work with you to achieve a suitable plan for your predicament.

The rep that signed me up with American Dream was good. He seemed real anxious to close the sale, but he was friendly in the way he went about it.

My AMG GLE Mercedes 53 S is covered with American Dream. I signed up with them in April and I just had to submit my mileage and VIN number. However, compared to other warranties I have purchased through credit unions, American Dream's pricing is a little higher.

Ryan explained every detail to the bone. I glad I got the call from Ryan. Excellent customer services and honesty is what I got from this experience. Ryan made sure that I understood what I was buying. And the reviews that I have read made it even simpler than I expect.

Sabrina was very knowledgeable of her position at your company. She answered all my questions and listened to my reason for not responding back to her in a timely manner. That's one reason why I returned her call on my time. She was very supportive for me and her skills with your company.

So far, my experience with American Dream has been good. I got the warranty for a Buick Concord last October and they told me I'd have to wait 30 days. I haven't had to use them yet, but they told me that I could take the car anywhere.

"After carefully reviewing your case, we regret to inform you that the FRONT CONTROL ARMS, STEERING RACK BOOTH LEAKING is not covered under the warranty due to wear and tear." Very common answer. We have a broken struts which need replacement they not answering and can't keep waiting.. Is been over almost two weeks and they still not reply to the shop.. Going to use the legal system to enforce, or showing the broken struts not be coverage under their coverage plus car rental. We been waiting from our trip in a different state. Not answering the phone, email answer once and they not get back to you, very poor customer service.. Keep shopping someplace else, here's not get answers or help.
