First experience with them. The enrollment was relatively easy and the coverage looks good. I can't give a full review until I experience them after the sale if there is a claim. Hopefully they will be better at communicating than the last company I tried. The last company I tried denied a claim then when they agreed it was OK, Payment has yet to be received so I canceled it.

My wife's car was covered by American Dreams. She filed 3 different claims in one year, and all were declined. There's always a reason why they will not pay for any repairs, even the small ones! They always find an I clause in the contract that eliminates their responsibility to pay. This was a great concept or Idea, but it's just a con Game! I would not recommend this car warranty for any reason, even if I were paid to recommend it!

I went with American Dream Auto Protect when faced with the need to renew the auto warranty for my 2019 Santa Fe. Initially, our credit union offered a solid warranty when we purchased the vehicle a few years ago. It always served us well, covering up to 120,000 miles, but given our high mileage usage, renewal offered less coverage for a higher price.
I discovered American Dream Auto Protect through a Google search and noted its high regard, with favorable mentions from reputable sources like Forbes. The salesperson I dealt with was incredibly helpful, clearly explaining all the details, which made the process less daunting.
Comparatively, American Dream provided what I had initially through the credit union – a comprehensive bumper-to-bumper coverage which at renewal seemed more viable than a mere powertrain warranty. The only small hiccup was the payment schedule; I didn't expect the first payment on the contract start date, July 1st, since I already paid on the 10th previously. However, their team clarified that future payments would be as I initially assumed, on the 10th.
Overall, my experience so far with American Dream Auto Protect has been positive. Their service was professional and they kept the coverage and pricing accessible compared to my previous option.

This only intensified my angst based on reviews stating you all were scams and mechanics did not like to deal with you. Even though other companies, like Endurance, seem to have bigger advertising budgets, anecdotal satisfaction from a few people convinced me to give American Dream a try. The customer service, when setting up my service, was alright. However, there was a hiccup because when I signed up with American Dream, I already had a warranty through the dealership from whom I bought my car. The person I dealt with from American Dream assured me they could help retrieve the money from my old warranty, but that hasn't happened yet. This situation has been a bit disappointing.
In terms of improvements, I believe American Dream could enhance their customer experience by developing an interactive website or app for filing claims and handling services digitally. When I tried to use the auto warranty, I found out they couldn't cover the cost of a new motor because the repair was worth more than the car itself. This left me quite disillusioned with their service. On top of that, when I decided to cancel the service because my car was inoperable and I couldn't use the car warranty, they wanted to charge me a $250 cancellation fee. They claimed it was part of the agreement we signed. I didn't feel this was fair. It seemed unreasonable to pay for a service I wasn’t using due to their inability to fix my car. In conclusion, American Dream Auto Protect did little for me. They didn't provide the support I expected and added the frustration of a cancellation fee.

The gentleman I talked to at American Dream was really friendly. But I could have had a little better answers on some of the questions I was asking. He didn't make it clear to me that I had to have 100% records from the day the truck was made, as far as maintenance and service, to be covered.
That would have maybe been a deal breaker because I didn't know if I had all of my proof that the maintenance had been done even though I knew it had been. And when I got the policy, I read it, and it says that if you have an engine failure, they would want to know from day one that every scheduled maintenance had been taken care of. How many people have that for five years?
I'm paying for something that's probably not going to cover a thing when I need it. They could have told me that if I want to ensure the coverage of a vehicle, I need to show that maintenance has been done from day one. That should be the very first thing they tell you when they're going to decline you on a claim if you can't show that history. They should make that very clear when you're signing up. I’m about eight weeks with them and I feel like I was deceived.

Although I asked the rep not to take it out, she did, but they eventually reversed it. I don't like that I had to pay all of that upfront in four months. They explained to me that if I put my car in the shop, they repair it, but will not cover for an oil change. If the car breaks down, I get a loaner, and I can take it to wherever I want to take it, but I need to take it back to the dealer. That is convenient for me. I already shared American Dream Protect to my brother and my nephew, because they have nice cars too. It's a little expensive, but it's a nice program.

I signed up for American Dream Auto Protect, but I was not able to use it on my newly-bought car, which apparently had issues that I didn’t know of. They didn't want to pay for what was supposed to be fixed, because the issue was preexisting, and it couldn't have happened in the short amount of time that we bought the car. But I bought the car as a used car, like I told them. Obviously, the warranty I had with them is not a freaking warranty for new cars, so that if in the case that there is something wrong, it would be covered.
I paid $3,000 for the policy, and it’s a waste of money. Their customer service didn’t say anything else except that I should figure things out myself. American Dream is rated top, number one tier, so I thought I was signing up with something that was decent. I should have gone to the dealership and just bought the extended warranty through them.

I had researched different articles and websites about the American Dream which led me to choose them. Through the signup process, I don't feel like it's been very transparent in terms of everything that would be needed or required. I sent all the information requested, and had no confirmation received. There's no website portal to check information of coverage. I called up to see if they confirmed the information, and said no one had done anything with it. It hasn't been a great experience. I also had a claim and they denied it due to clerical issues.

I was searching for warranties because I have a 2006 Mini Cooper. That's a summer car. It's sort of fun for my summer. I was calling around and I spoke with Sam at American Dream. Sam was very nice and he offered a five-year deal that sounded good, so I decided to go with it.
When my wife’s factory warranty was up after five years, I called back and got another warranty from Sam. My other car had been with CarShield, but they no longer offered the same plan. I reached out to Sam again, but he had been promoted to manager, so I worked with Joe instead and purchased a third warranty.
After that, I paid them all off. When you have two policies, you get better perks and extra miles, which is nice. Then I noticed a $124 charge. I called American Dream Auto Protect, and the representative said I shouldn’t have been charged because my account was paid in full. So I contacted my credit card company, explained the situation, and gave them my contact at American Dream. They said they’d take care of it, and I haven’t heard anything since.
I’d say it’s definitely worth looking into. I say getting it sounded good. They gave me nice perks along the way like an extra couple thousand miles when I added a car another year. That part was good. I can’t speak to the claims side since I haven’t had to use the warranty yet. I’ve been in business for 50 years, so I like to see things proven. If I ever need a repair and it goes smoothly, I’d say they’re wonderful. If not, I might feel differently. But as of now, my experience has been good.
I have a good positive feeling. I gave them a nice review. I bought two warranties from Sam, who got promoted, and he connected me with Joe for a third. If my daughter gets a new truck, we might consider them again. For now, the American Dream is on my “good” list.

I purchased a policy from American Dream. I've not had to use it, and so far, it's been good. I did a price comparison between companies, and it was American Dream that offered a better package for coverage at a good price and a longer extended warranty.
I had purchased one from the dealership that the car is through, from Subaru. But only to find out the dealership was fraudulent. And after taking my money, the next day they canceled it. Well, I didn't use that warranty for almost a year and a half.
And when I went to get warranty work done, they said there's no policy in the system. I went back to the dealership, filed an FCC complaint, and they ended up reimbursing me for the money back. But it was still without an extended warranty. So, then I went looking for one.
Getting it was easy, and again, a good package for the price, for six years and 70,000 miles. It started 30 days, one month after purchase.

I purchased a policy for my 2020 Range Rover in September 2024. The price was competitive with the dealer price so I decided to purchase forum AD based on the policy coverages. Unfortunately, my vehicles was rear ended and after 2 months of diagnosing the damages, the insurance totaled the vehicle. So I lost 2 months of the policy value by the time I requested a reimbursement for AD. Based on my calculation, nine months of coverage cost me 30% of the purchase price including cancellation and processing fees. At least I get back 70% of the cost reimbursed. It seems Fair but I do not anything to compare it to.

*POSSIBLE VIOLATION OF MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY ACT (15 U.S.C. §§ 2301 et seq.)* I have the platinum level extended warranty American Dream, which is their highest tier warranty and recently, the transmission in my 2020 Silverado started to slip so I took it into a GM service center and they confirmed that it was damaged and needed to be repaired or replaced. I thought I was covered, but American Dream is denying my claim because there is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) on the transmission from GM.
Here's the thing though, the TSB simply states what should be expected out of the transmission, what's normal, and actually recommends AGAINST repairing the transmission when its behavior falls under what GM describes as normal function. American Dream is using that TSB to deny my claim. I am attaching both my contract from American Dream, and the TSB from GM for anyone who is interested. If I can't make any progress on my own, I will have an attorney take care of it.
In addition to their refusal to cover what clearly falls within their contract, they're very dismissive when I call. On the subject of calling, their answering service states that the call is being recorded, which I am fine with, but when I told the customer service rep that I was also recording the call, she hung up on me. I called back and stated again that I was calling on a recorded line, the customer service rep said they (with major attitude) that they would not speak to me as long as I was recording the call.

I discussed with the salesman from American Dream and they had a better offer. If I would able to pay in five payments versus monthly for the length of the term, they gave me more mileage. They gave me 90,000 miles on my warranty plus six years. Nobody else could touch that and the price was less. I was very impressed with the price.
The rep was very knowledgeable and giving. When I called back, he called me right back. A lot of times, the salespeople say you can get this deal, but if you don't buy it right this second, there's no calling back and looking at anything else. With American Dream, there wasn't a lot of pressure. I promised I would have a decision by the end of the day, and he said, “Yes. Call me back. Here's my number.”
When I started with them, everything went well. Then this guy called and asked me to email information to him. He said he was my personal guy and he gave me his direct line phone number. I had to take pictures of my odometer but the email kept coming back bad. I tried to call his "personal line" but it gave me to another representative. I never got to talk to that guy back.
I got another guy and he asked me to text him my pictures. Okay. I asked if he could let me know that he got them. But I never heard back from him again. I waited but I never got anything in the mail from them. I called back again and I got a different girl. I said that I had been going through this and I don't even know if they've taken the payment. So, was this a scam? I was getting concerned. She was like, “No. Your welcome package should be in the mail any day.” But I didn't even get a declaration claim or things showing the exact mileage since they updated it.
She looked up my account and said they did not get anything. She tried to send me a link in the email and it wouldn't go through. So she had me text it to her while I was on the phone with her so that I didn't lose her and she got it. She went in, updated my declaration page, emailed it right to me and got everything set up.

The Ford dealer told me it's cheaper but has good insurance for the warranty. It covers the majority part of the car -- the engine, motor, unexpected repairs, things like that.
Payment is easy. It’s on auto. I have a brain injury, so everything has to be on auto for me. It's a good monthly plan, especially for people on a low income, because I'm on disability.
They kept texting me saying my insurance is being ended. I know I paid this month, so I called the other day, and she said I'm fine, that they're having a glitch.

It's supposed to give me 40 months of coverage bumper-to-bumper.
I was hearing a scraping noise. And then, two days before I went into the shop, I found oil on my driveway, which I had never had an oil leak on the vehicle before. I took the car in there, they tell me it was a differential that needed to be replaced and that's where the oil was coming from. I filed a claim and American Dream denied it. They said that there was a pre-existing problem. I didn't have an oil leak before. My garage floor is clean. It’s $4,500 to get my car back. So now, I'm paying $3,300 for a warranty that really serves no purpose. I’m very dissatisfied.

Last night, on my way from work, the dashboard lights on my Lexus ES started lighting up. And it was like something was draining my battery. But when I was on the interstate, I don't know if it charged it back up as I was accelerating. But I think there's a short somewhere in the electrical.
I am not too familiar with cars, so I'm not 100% sure. But when I give it gas, I can hear a rattle in my muffler. Somebody at my work said that my catalytic converter was probably clogged, because I was telling them that when I give it gas, my RPM shoot up a little bit. But it doesn’t take off. I have to let my foot off the gas and then push it back down. And it catches normally. I was just going to take it to the shop and see what they say because, definitely, something's going on with it.
I tried to call to get some information about how the rental car process worked because I didn't wanna be without a car because I work. There was a misunderstanding with the guy I talked to today on how I was explaining it and stuff. He kept giving me the same answer over and over about the rental car. He told me that when I take it to the shop, they have to open the claim or they do a diagnostic on the car to find out what's wrong with it. Then they open the claim.
And then it takes 48 hours to approve or deny the claim. He said I'll get an email. Once they approve the claim, I can get a rental car until the time it takes them to get it fixed. If there’s a deposit for the diagnostic, I would have to pay that out of my pocket.

I’ve had extended coverage on most of my vehicles for a long time, and it has treated me well. Most of the time it either pays for itself or comes close, so if I have a big breakdown, I feel covered and possibly ahead of the game.
I looked up some of the best warranty companies online, and American Dream Auto Protect popped up on the list. The representative explained how the coverage worked, what was covered and not, the term length, the mileage mark, and the cost.
The only complaint I have, and not just with them but with other companies I talked to, is that they give you a number first and then come down from it. I would rather they give their lowest and best price right off the bat with no negotiation.

I was with another extended warranty company, and I’d heard that when people filed claims, they wouldn’t pay. They would tell people, “Sorry, it’s not covered,” even though it was clearly in the contract. There’s a billion dollar lawsuit about it. When I found that out, I left them immediately.
When I heard about American Auto Dream Protect, it made me pause for a moment mainly because of the name, American Auto Dream Protect. We live in America, and I love the patriotic look, the flag, and how you present yourselves on the website. And the word “dream” really stood out to me. This is America’s dream. It just hit me in a different way.
The representative I spoke with was top-tier and professional. They were very patient with my questions, and I never felt rushed. I didn’t feel any anxiety or pressure to respond a certain way.
They let me answer at my own pace. I also felt like I was talking to someone I could trust. Everyone I’ve spoken to at American Dream so far has been very respectful. They’d even make me laugh. I honestly felt welcomed by this company.
Before my contract became active, I submitted a video. I showed how many miles were on my car. I showed that all the windows worked, the sunroof worked, no check engine lights, and I walked all the way around the car. All the lights were working, the radio was working, everything was fine.
I even used my scan tool and plugged it in on camera to show there were no hidden codes. Because some people will go to a mechanic who can disable the check engine light to make it look like nothing’s wrong, even when there are major problems.
My scan tool will tell you if there’s anything wrong with the transmission too. There were no codes at all, and I submitted all of that to claims. Do you know what the representative told me?
She said, “In all the years I’ve been working here, nobody has ever done that. People always try to get over on the system and make us look like the bad guys. And we’re like, ‘No, we know this was a preexisting issue.’”
The lady told me that because I made that video, it now shows there were no preexisting issues with my car. She said that if something goes wrong later and the warranty doesn’t fully cover it, they’re willing to work with me.
I would pay the majority, but American Dream would cover part of it so the cost wouldn’t hit me as hard. I told her I really appreciated that. She said she wasn’t talking about major repairs, but a certain percentage, and she added that to my notes as well.
I tell people I work with that they should go to American Dream. But before I even send them to the warranty, I’ll check their car myself. If the car has a check engine light on and my scan tool shows preexisting issues, I don’t tell them about American Dream. Because I’m not going to send a car over there like that.
But if I check the car and everything looks good, then I tell them, “Okay, here, call this number. They’ll take care of you.” And I tell them to let American Dream know that Jemarcus referred them.

I kept advising I was at work and not a good time to call. The next day, I spoke with someone and got a quote and advised I was not interested and was going w/another company. Rep starts slamming the other company. No biggie, not interested. Hung up and immediately got another call. Advised to stop calling. Received multiple calls.
Today I received a few finally picked one up and said please put me on a do not call list. I am not interested and hung up. Immediately get a call from another number, same guy. Please stop calling, he starts arguing with me and advise I will report the company and hang up. Calls immediately from another number. I answer and start to get ugly. Hung up calling him a name. I then get a text message from ANOTHER number, telling me it takes one to know one...LOL. I have 5 numbers blocked and fear the calls will NOT stop! HORRIBLE customer service.

Updated on 06/19/2025: A follow up on my correspondence with American Dream Warranty. The so-called Resolution Manager, Sam informed me that because I cancelled my warranty, they could not help me any further. That was after my air conditioner was in need for repairs. They say that this particular mechanical part is not covered. I ask them to show me in the contract where this part was exempt. Funny, they never could, nor I find this mechanical part in the warranty contract was not covered. More spin.
The Next RM we contacted said she was much aware of our appeal. She attempted to negotiate a settlement of reimbursing the diagnostic expense of 235.09. I declined that offer. Then she raised the settlement $ 100.00 if I removed my rating and explanation of experience. I find that a cheap bribe to help their credibility. Another insult for a resolution, I want American Scheme to fix the air conditioner. Period. After my strong opinion that the car warranty industry, be subpoenaed before Congress under oath to explain their warranty positions, disclosure and decisions, she became defensive and called my comments "political". Then she told me I was now put on mute. I report my experience, you decide.
Original Review: American "Nightmare" declined to pay for repairs for a mechanical part, "air conditioner EXPANSION VALVE", a critical component for the operation for cooling the automobile. The American Nightmare representative stated that this part was not covered under the warranty. I read the contract exclusions and there was no mention of not covering the expansion valve. The cost for that part and installation at a participating car repair center was approximately $900.00. After 16 monthly premiums, deposit, deductible, out of pocket diagnostic charge, I will have spent $2, 510.00. BUYER BEWARE.

I bought the warranty 6 months ago, my water pump went out. (BMW 2018-430i) Mechanic filed a claim for me, he submitted with an estimate with description and picture. Mechanic indicated the water pump has failed and cooling system horses are worn out and not re-usable. The picture indicating blue and white stained on it. From the adjuster, they declined my claim, due to rust and corrosion. I call back and spoke to the customer service, who claim she has a mechanic experience. I explained to her that blue and white stained are coolant that dried up, that is not corrosion. She told me, "Based on the description, your mechanic said the leak is caused by hose, therefore your pump was damage and we don’t cover that." I tried to explain to her that pump failed not cause by hose which leaking coolant. I have asked her to get their adjuster online and have a three way calling, she refused. "It is final and your claim have been denied."
They jump into conclusion based on the limited amount information and a picture, and they refused to talk to the mechanic to elaborate more information. I asked my mechanic to file another claim and make sure added more detail. Second submission was also denied, because they already denied the first claim., and there is no appeal. You might want to think again, if you want to buy warranty from them. I filed a complaint to the company’s website, and they have instructed me to call their customer service, kind of wasting my time. There are other companies out there. You might have to pay a little more, but at least they will approve your claim, when time come. If you like to donate your money and ask for no return, there are many charity companies out there as well.

My ex-girlfriend is the one who referred me to them. And she just took her car to the shop this week. So, we're gonna see how that works. But I think it's going well.
Sign up was pretty easy because you just talk to them over the phone. And they talk to you about the different levels of service, email it to you while you're on the phone. And we can choose which level then pay it. I got the highest level.
I've added two cars to it in the last two months. When I called to get it added it, it was really quick as far as getting me someone to talk to and answered all my questions. The first one I got was $5,600 and the other one for my Range Rover was $4,600. Comparing it to the ones offered at the dealership, it's very good. They were offering a two-year, a limited warranty for $4,100. And the one I got was for six years.
That was the reason I did it, because there are certain things like suspension, other things that American Dream covers that other warranty companies don't. They just deal with the powertrain, usually. Unless the engine blows up, you're not getting anything out of it. I'd recommend them, so far.

My claim for an alternator was denied because they magically claim it failed due to the fuse box. How can that be proven and can’t they say something like that about everything? There is no appeal process, which makes this the perfect biz. Like taking candy from a baby. American Dream Auto Protect is fraudulent. They got a good scam going. So, I got it for my 2017 Mercedes C43. And I submitted a claim three months after I purchased the policy, but they denied it.
So, what happened was that it was losing coolant. So, I took it in, and they had to have a couple of hoses replaced. And also, the mounting brackets for the engine that kept it from vibrating and moving needed to be replaced. So, I had the mechanic call so they could establish a claim. And American Dream said that they wasn’t gonna cover it for some reason. So, I called American Dream, and they said that they can’t cover it because the auto check came back with a possible odometer rollback.
So, what happened was, several years ago, somebody who was changing my oil just transposed some numbers. But you can’t do that with a 2017. It’s electronic, and you can’t roll back an odometer on it. And so, I tried to explain it to them, but they wouldn’t listen. They just told me that they’re not gonna cover this claim. And I told them that this is gonna be a problem moving forward. I won’t be able to file any claims. And I asked them why they didn't pull this before they wrote the policy if they're gonna do this every time with everybody, and they didn't have a comment about that.
And then I asked them for a refund, but they said they don't offer refunds on anything I paid so far. And I told them that I've never used the policy, and I would never be able to use the policy because it's impossible to use it, because of this little quirk in here. And if they're gonna rely on this report, why didn't they pull this report at the time of filing? So, they disagreed with me. And then I told them that I'm gonna file a complaint, and they just said okay.
So, I asked them to give my money back because I canceled my policy. They didn't even want to cancel the policy because they just wanted me to keep paying money and not being able to file any claims.

And once I told him that I couldn’t do it right then, then he said, “Well, go ahead and try to make the deposit. And then call me the next day.” So, I was ignoring him because I was going to do what was best for me.
I was trying to wait before I added the new car on. I didn’t want to have to make two down payments. I’ve already made one for the initial warranty, but I didn’t want to make another down payment when I’ve already made one on my car. So, before I could do an upgrade, he said that they couldn’t do it right then. They’d have to wait until the end of the month. I said, “Okay.”
But my overall experience with the man was decent. His attitude and demeanor were pleasant, and I didn’t have any issues with the way he was doing things because he’s a salesman. I was hoping to get the price lower, but I understand that everything has gone up since I had my last warranty. I went along with it because I need the coverage. So, the price was fair.

I had two reasons for wanting to cancel my American Dream policy. First, I was facing some financial hardship and was thinking about canceling until I could get back on my feet. It’s a big chunk of change, and I’m on disability, even though I do need the coverage.
The second reason is that I searched for the top five extended car warranty companies, and American Dream was on that list along with a few others I recognized. Before calling, I read some reviews, and my biggest concern was their customer service, because the reviews weren’t very good.
I told the guy who sold me the policy that I was concerned about that. I’m talking about recent complaints, even from the day I signed up, like rude customer service and not paying out on policies. The representative told me that the company had made some adjustments and was correcting their customer service issues.
I worked in customer service for 32 years, so I know what that kind of explanation means. I liked the guy I signed up with. He was very nice, knowledgeable, and explained everything to me, like the bumper‑to‑bumper coverage, the 30‑day waiting period, and no mileage requirements. I called my sister and my brother and got them to switch their warranty companies to American Dream. They signed up the same day or the next day after I did.
I personally didn’t have a repair done, but they did. They signed up two cars, and one of them needed a $1,200 repair. The extended warranty denied the claim because they said it was pre‑existing. My sister was extremely upset. I don’t know how they could determine that.
I think it had something to do with the suspension. The bigger issue was how rude they were. My sister called back and spoke to a manager, but he wasn’t much better. When she said she was told the coverage was bumper‑to‑bumper, the manager told her she needed to use common sense about what bumper‑to‑bumper meant.

American Dream is NOT a good warranty company. My BMW is sitting at the shop for a mechanical repair and they quote it’s on the “disallowed” list. Everything that is wrong with the car was basically on the “disallowed” list sticking me with a $5000 bill. They will cover a $1600 valve cover assembly but not a valvotronic motor inside the valve cover assembly, which is $3500 alone. We appealed their denial and even had the tech say it was mechanical. The answer is the same “disallowed” item. They are terrible.

Claim #**. With my current experience, I’d noted a negative stars. I had the choice with many companies but was assured by American Dream agent Sam, their services were top tier. I soon found after my first small claim they are in the practice of “first deny until they keep trying“. First claim was direct and I was advised part wasn’t listed on coverage package (as if every screw, motor, seal, and motor part must be in a list). After becoming aggravated and escalating my claim it was finally paid. 2 weeks out and they cover approx 3-4 days max on rental vehicle. I excused it as error until I came into my next claim. The initial denial was due to “part listed on non claimable.“
Upon sending in an invoice showing the parts named in the denial were not the parts listed on the invoice repair, calling for now 2 weeks, I’m told today it was reviewed by supervisor and denial remains. I requested reasoning for second denial, the young lady (Erika) advises she doesn’t know it was not noted. I have now come to the conclusion this company rating is subpar. I have several nice vehicles but failed to do real research on this company and for this reason I’m getting what I paid for. DO NOT BUY HERE, YOU WILL REGRET.
I look forward to many more denial claims as my policy extended out for quite a while. The message heard about warranty companies denying claims with no merit, I’ve come to believe is true here. ####DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY HERE### DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY HERE THEY REFUSE TO PAY #### I have 3 other vehicles running out on warranty due to time not mileage. My intent to list all with this company are void. Absolute worst I’ve ever dealt with

During the sign-up process, I was the one asking most of the questions. I wanted to ensure there was a clear definition of what was covered under the warranty. There was a little difficulty at first, especially when I expected a hard copy summary of the policy to include details like the total miles and number of years, which weren't initially provided. I received a call from a salesperson from American Dream who gave me various reasons why the American Dream warranty was better than the Endurance Waranty. I decided to cancel the Endurance warranty and go with American Dream. In fact, I was so convinced that it was a good product that I bought 2 separate American Dream warranties for 2 separate vehicles. it seemed like a great idea to have an extended warranty in case something happened in the future with either vehicle.
After taking a trip I heard a ticking noise that seemed to be coming from the motor, in one of my vehicles, so I took it into the dealer to have it checked. It turned out to be an exhaust leak from the exhaust manifold. After filing a claim with American Dream I was told that the exhaust manifold is an excluded part and that the repair was declined even though the exhaust manifold was not listed as an excluded part in my agreement. Out of curiosity I went back to the original policy that I had with Endurance to see if the exhaust manifold was covered under their warranty. It was!!! I wonder how many other parts are covered by the Endurance warranty that are not covered by American Dream? I canceled both of the policies that I purchased from American Dream and will go back to Endurance. Endurance clearly has a better Waranty.
