    I was inquiring from other places. All of a sudden, I got an inquiry from American Dream Auto Protect so I called. One of the reasons I thought they're better than the other ones was because I had never seen an advertisement. So that means maybe they’re not spending as much money on advertising and more money on their clients.

    The representative I worked with was fine and I had no problem at all. The only issue I have right now is that I haven't gotten my card and confirmation letter. I know I have it because they sent me an email. I had bought a couple different cars in the same time period and the one that I was trying to get coverage on, I gave the wrong mileage. So, I had to correct that because it was like 15,000 miles off and I wanted to make sure that they knew it.

    Having extended coverage is important because it’s a car that my granddaughter drives. I’ve always purchased extended coverage for used cars I own, and I hope I never have to use it.

    The rep explained different things about American Dream Auto Protect, what they do, what they can take care of, and the price. I’ve had Endurance for two years and they were messing around with me. And then I talked to the American Dream Auto Protect rep and he sounded honest, that the company will back everything he said, and I can depend on the company if something happens. So I got American Dream ‘cause I don’t wanna wait until something happens to my car and not have warranty on it. I already got the booklet in the mail.

    American Dream Auto Protect is terrible. They would never call me and when I tried to call them and asked what they covered, they didn't explain that. I said I wanted out of this agreement but I was told I had to call four different numbers, which I didn't like. I just wanted my questions answered honestly. It felt like they were hiding something they didn’t want me to know, and when I asked different questions, they couldn’t really answer them.

    American Dream Auto Protect is a scam. 2 separate occasions my claim was denied which I tried this service just to confirm my suspicion and rumors that extended warranty companies are everything everyone says they are. Experts at not paying your claim. I have reported and documented this and submitted it to the BBB. I paid $150 month and it's not worth it.

    Initial Claim on 12/8/2025. After dragging the claim for a week, they said they need an inspector. Inspector arrived 12/15/2025. Waited another week and after calling them twice Wednesday, 12/17/2025 then Friday 12/19/2025. I finally received my answer by email, not telling me on the phone that the claim was denied. I purchased a Platinum Plan within its listing that in print states the differential Assembly is part of the coverage. My shop diagnosed a bearing and seal failure of the front differential.

    The Claim department sent me this. " After carefully reviewing your case, we regret to inform you that the front differential is not covered under the warranty due to long-term wear and tear." The Vehicle is a 2021 BMW X7 with less than 50,000 miles. So Buyer beware of the policy they are selling. Extremely unhappy and not satisfied. Dragging me along for two weeks with vehicle in shop sitting idle. In other reviews this is the same procedure! The only appealing thing of this company are the workers are polite and courteous. They get the 5 stars. Company does not! Total Breach of Contract. Not worth the $4775 I paid for coverage!!

    Had a warranty for 1.5 years, it set me back nearly $6K. They denied my only claim. Then, I traded in my car and got a new lease. Requested a refund, which is in the amount of $3,300. Called on October 25th to cancel and get a refund. I never sent the check and keep giving me the runaround. This company is an absolute scam! They do not honor any claims and do not refund money.     Please don't take extended warranty with this company. American Dream Extended Warranty is a scam where they don't fulfill their obligation of repairing the vehicle and reject claims on various line item details that the customer is not aware of. One has to wait multiple months before they accept any claims. They always develop some reason to reject the claim. Please find a better extended warranty company to deal with. In my situation, I signed up for the policy on October 10, 2025. There is a 30 day waiting period. So the policy got started on November 10 when they had already collected my second month's premium. On November 21, my vehicle exhibited a MIL light so I took it to a mechanic and the mechanic filed a claim few days after. This company rejected the claim for repair by basically indicating that the vehicle had the issue before the policy was taken.

    Can you imagine someone telling you that your vehicle had an issue months before you signed up for the extended warranty even though the vehicle had no MIL light and the vehicle was runnung just fine? Basically this company will come up reasons to deny the claim and not fix the problem on your vehicle in spite of the coverage you signed up for.

    Do not get a policy with this company and beware of any clause in any contract that states “If there is a reasonable mechanical probability that the condition causing the failure existed prior to or at the time of purchase of your program—whether known or unknown at the time of purchase.“ They use this to deny any claim if you haven’t been paying them for years, at least. The more I dig around and talk with people, everyone that I have talked to have had the same experience.

    I bought the policy and a couple months later, my truck had a vibration one morning, I was an hour away from home, so I stopped at the closest Dealership. I got a rental and the dealership contacted American Dream. It took three weeks for them to deny me, saying that I drove it, knowing it was bad, and added that exclusion I quoted above. There is a dealership right down the street from my house, but I chose to leave it where I was at. How did I continue to drive this thing? I think these kind of reviews should be in a central location and we should start blasting social media with how these predatory policies are enforced.

    I was getting my questions answered by the sales representatives, so I decided to go with American Dream. They basically matched my dealership’s price. The salesperson explained to me that it was bumper-to-bumper coverage on my car warranty extension. But, when the documents arrived, that was not the case. The lights, electronics, hoses, belts and things that I understand are consumables were not covered. That was not what was presented.

    There was another aspect, where the policy would become active in 30 days. And while that was true, the policy documents state that it was 30 days plus a thousand miles on the vehicle. That takes me months to achieve. I'm traveling over the holidays, so it would have been sometime next year before I get my coverage.

    I reached out to them and they did try to work with me on that. They did three things for me. First, they changed the waiting period from 30 day and 1,000 miles to 60 days and 500 miles. Second, I was worried about my headlights that steer by themselves. And they explained that they would still cover that, including the motors. Third, I found out while reading my documents that I was the only person on the policy even though there are two people on my title. So, if something happened to me, I'm not actually able to transfer it because it says I have to transfer it legally in order for the policy to continue on with my partner. They tried to assure me that as long as they are on the title, they are covered.

    They also agreed to put my partner on the policy. It turns out there is a place in the policy where you can have two people named on that. So, that was helpful, because I called them to cancel due to all these misgivings. Also, when I started having questions, I got hung up on twice. The salesperson told me that they were giving me the direct number to talk to John, but I was never able to reach John again.

    It has been four days and I'm still waiting to see my updated policy documents. I am still in limbo, and I may still cancel unless they can follow through on putting both people on it and changing the waiting period. In the meantime, I went out to my dealer and talked to them about MotoAssure. They deal with them all the time, and they assured me that when the repair comes in, we will be able to make a claim through the insurance company.

    Then, I found that the vehicle does not leave until the repair is paid for, which is fine. But if the insurance company takes a while to pay them, then I'm out of pocket and the dealership would only reimburse me when the insurance company pays them. I trust the dealership to do that, but all of this was news to me.

    American Dream also say I can choose my service shop. And while that is true, they do not necessarily have to agree with their hourly rates. The service manager at the Lincoln dealership warned me that they have run into policies where they are saying $100 an hour. So, when you are at $140 an hour, then you are on the hook for the $40 an hour.

    They were offering me a good price. And then to keep me on board for the next few days for the evaluation period, they cut that $500. I really had to lean on them to get into this point, where I would consider staying. Overall, they need to drill down to find out what they are ultimately offering. I would really like to have a car warranty that I can believe in.

    The way the presentations were presented to me by the young lady, Ms. **, it made me go with American Dream Auto Protect. She was very patient and listened to what I had to say. Getting everything set up wasn't difficult. The hardest part was just the decision-making. Pricing was competitive according to what each company offers. I was being called by competitors and everybody offered different packages, and they tried to muscle me. But what the young lady offered and explained to me, it spoke with confidence in the company. The confidence that what was being offered was good. And I was just looking for some people that stand behind their product, not one that uses you once and then throws you away.

    The representative from American Dream Auto Protect was very nice and clear about what she had to offer. We didn’t go over all the exclusions, as a matter fact I don’t remember discussing many that would have been a problem based on what I’d read or heard beforehand. The options were better than the other policies, protective care policies got my attention.

    There were several options included that other dealers and contracts don’t offer. One specifically there’s an item called a fan belt tensioner. If there’s a transmission issue, most shops and dealership require you to pay to have it disassembled just to find out what the problem is. But the company says that they covered that expense as well. That was one of the most important things of the service contract that I ran across. That was impressive to me. They were also very clear on what they covered and what wasn’t and that was unique.

    The signup process itself was very reasonable. We were able to break down a payment that fit my budget and that’s another factor. That was very different and beneficial. I'm going to recommend them to several other people that I know. It supersedes other auto protection policies that I have encountered over the last 25 years. It's a better option at a lower price.

    I wanted coverage for my 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. I was shopping for price and American Dream was a lot cheaper with other people I’ve dealt with. I’ve had CarShield and they were pretty expensive. We were paying $117 a month.

    When I was looking online, I saw that American Dream had a high rating. I saw some 1s that said they did not pay on certain claims but that’s not uncommon. I’ve had three other contracts and most of them don’t pay. We also tried Assurance. I was upset over them because I had work done from a reputable mechanic and he did good work. But they refused to pay any of the claims I had with them.

    I signed up with American Dream and the process was very simple and easy. They told me they would mail out a policy that I could read and go over but I have not received it yet. Usually, it takes about 30 days but if I don’t get a policy within the next couple of weeks, I’ll recontact them. Overall, I’m satisfied with it.

    My car is 10 years old and I have no desire of buying another car. I’m 78 years old and this car is doing exactly what I want it to do. It’s got all the gingerbread on it. It’s an Ultima so it’s well equipped. It also means a lot of things can go wrong with it, both electrical and mechanical. So that’s why I wanted the extended warranty.

    I searched the internet with what would be the best extended warranty for cars. Endurance always seemed to be rated number one and then it was either American Dream or CarsShield. I called all three to get their prices and American Dream seemed to offer the best deal, so I went with them.

    The rep was friendly, very knowledgeable and informative. He was well trained, he knew the company and what he was supposed to do so I was happy with it. The pricing was favorable but we’ll find out if they live up to what they say they’re gonna do if I have a problem. I have to accept the fact that they’re gonna cover the stuff they say they’re covering. If they don’t, there’d be a lawsuit. Overall, I’d tell my friends that they should at least consider and call American Dream if they’re serious about buying an extended warranty. Then the rest would be up to the company.

    I have a Cadillac XTS sedan that was warrantied to 100,000 miles, and it is now at 138,000 miles so it has been out of warranty. I have had it for years and there have been suspension issues in the past, where I had to change it twice. in the last couple of months, I also have changed a couple axles in the car. But I plan on keeping the car for three more years. So, I figured I would get some warranty in case something goes down the line.

    I found American Dream from doing research and they offered a better deal compared to CarShield that I was dissatisfied with. I had two Fords and the dealership I go to handles American Dream. I wasn't pressured at all to sign up. The representative explained to me in great detail and answered my questions to my satisfaction. He was quite knowledgeable and he and I had a long discussion about changing.

    It's a little more expensive than what CarShield was charging me, but I don't mind paying the extra $30 a month for it in order to have both my Fords covered. I got Platinum coverage on both vehicles all across the board. There are so many electronics that a normal guy in a garage can't work on the cars unless you have a $40,000 scan tool.     I have filed a claim 11/27 to have my truck repaired. I have called numerous times. I have sent an email. My technician, Casey Chevrolet, has also sent an email. We have not gotten any response via email nor have I received a phone call back regarding the status of my claim. I called daily. I am told daily that I will receive an email by the end of business each day that I call. I have not received a phone call since I have called Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.     Do your research before you call any sort of warranty company because they are high-pressure salesmen. When I got American Dream Auto Protect, there was so much pressure. I kept explaining to them what happened with my previous provider. They said, “If you don't do it today, you don't get the deal. We'll get you down to $100 a month for life.” I don't know what this covers. I don't know if my transmission is gonna go out in a week. They said, "We're not covering that. It was preexisting.” There were many questions I had unanswered. There was pressure into purchasing the policy. They said, “You can have this. A packet would come in the mail”. I never got it. I set it up, and I blocked my card. But my credit card still pushed the payment through. I ended up blocking my credit card.

    It was my understanding it was ongoing coverage. So, I didn't understand the breakdown. The rep said that I could call up later and do a cash buyout and pay cash for it. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't great. I've been reluctant anyway, because I bought a warranty on my daughter's car. Three days later, the transmission went out on her car when we brought it home. They weren't willing to cover it, nor was the dealership. I had to prepare a legal and sic my boss on them before they would cover it.

    I be purchased this policy after extensive questioning in regards to what they cover and what they don’t. Had a very lengthy conversation in regards to seals and gaskets and valve covers and turbo as well as other engine components. Was told that with the platinum coverage it is all covered. I have had this policy for 5 months and the check engine light came on and so I took it to the dealership and then the inspector came out and then it took this company over 10 days to come back with a decision after being told daily, "Oh you will have an answer by end of day" to no answer. Then when I finally got my answer they turned the whole entire claim down. DENIED. What in the hell did I spend three hours on the phone for to begin with then. This company is a rip off.

    Being a new customer, I haven’t had the need of submitting any claims yet and hopefully I won’t but it’s sure nice to know your Covid. All I can say is the coverage sounds very comprehensive and is what anyone would be looking for. I previously use a different company and had a major claim and they only cover about 2/3 of it claiming they use a national average. Well, that’s not very helpful when you’re an inexpensive area of the country and a very low cost area of the country is what they’re basing the coverage on.     I have had this worthless policy since June 18th of this year. After more than a month later, my car broke down. I've had my car for over 2 years with absolutely NO issues.     When they sell you this product they tell you it covers all of these different things. I asked about specific items if it was covered. I was told yes but when it comes down to it they are they are not covered. The main thing this does is covers you if you have a problem with the air conditioner compressor the engine are the transmission and that's all. And if the repairs are $4,000 and your car is only worth three then the only thing they will pay is $3,000 and you're still stuck for the rest of it.

    My claim for an "Alternator" was unjustifiably denied; the decision was later reaffirmed by a rude supervisor who implored me to cancel my policy.

    Details:

    1. My vehicle died/ wouldn't start;
    2. I received a jumpstart;

    3. Drove directly to the nearest ASE certified service center- Younger Toyota

    4. Diagnostics performed by Younger Toyota determined that the alternator was bad.
    5. Younger Toyota Diagnostics revealed no damage to any additional electrical components, accessories etc related to the Alternator.

    6. Claim submitted by Younger Toyota was denied for: O) Repairs needed in whole or in part due to failure to stop driving immediately to protect your vehicle from further damage after evidence of a breakdown appears (e.g., warning light, smoke, abnormal noises).

    7. The explanation for denial is unrelated to the primary issue which was the alternator and "no additional damage was caused by my driving to service center per Younger Toyota.
    8. Request to speak with a supervisor.

    9. The Supervisor explained to me that I caused the failure to the alternator and in a rude and unprofessional manner transferred me to the cancelation dept. because I was in disbelief. She explained that my driving

    10. I ask for clarity on how to USE SERVICE. * if getting a jump to get to the nearest service center is a disqualification, no one can or has explained to me what should I have done to ensure this claim was accepted. - no one provided transparency which led.to the cancelation of the policy.

I bought a warranty to cover 2016 Honda CRV and they claim after an engine failure that the it was pre-existing and they did not pay one nickel. I paid a lot of money. When we called to inquire, they said, said something about a “CV“ axle is not covered. Obviously, the wording of what they cover is very deceptive. How would a normal person who sees that their axles are covered Understand that a “CV axle is not covered".     I was told that American Dream works like any other standard automotive warranty and it had a specific time limit. I have a 2014 Camaro that has a good chance of having an issue and I wanted coverage. They told me they would send me a letter with all the details and I have not received it.

    I haven't heard anything back from American Dream on my auto warranty. I sent my copy of my odometer and I haven't heard anything since. It's been about a month now. As far as I'm concerned, I'm not insured.

She was very rude and hung up on my repair shop manager and myself and told me yes she hung up on us. Now being refused for help I ask for my 3 month payment back and that was refused as well. This is not a company. I don't think no one would want to deal with. For all that have dealt with this as well as myself I think we need to look into a class action for the treatment we have received from this company

    Recently signed on with American Dream for 2 cars we had just paid off. Within 2 months one car had an issue, took into shop and found out had some pretty major issues. We submitted a claim which was then denied for “pre existing” conditions. The pre existing conditions would not have been able to be found unless engine was completely torn apart. We have tried to talk to a supervisor but can not get a hold of anyone besides a lowly customer service rep. All emails we have sent have not been replied to. I would avoid this scam company at all cost, I truly believe they wouldn’t cover any issues anyone has with their cars.

    I called in to change my credit card number, I finally got it changed, they immediately took a payment out that wasn't due yet. I asked them several questions about why they took out a payment that wasn't due yet, they cancelled me right there on the spot, the payment plus 150.00 deposit was taken out, I told them I needed a refund, They denied the refund. I called my credit card company and it took them all of a week to get my payment back, They said this was typical for American Dream, they lied, cheated and the stole from me. I did get the payment back thanks to my credit card company, however, I never got my deposit of 150.00 back. I had not been with them 30 days yet, and the email I got from them said a refund would be issued for up to 30 days. I could have sued them and won, but at what cost?

    I went to Consumer Reports and they had about five different choices for extended warranties. They had Endurance at the top and they said that American Dream had the best value. I went with American Dream and their salesman was very nice. He was very cordial and knowledgeable about cars. He said my BMW's from a great year and that matched my research. He said the BMW S Series got one of the top four awards and he knew all about the car, which impressed me. I got the Platinum coverage and they gave me a really good deal. They said I could buy the plan for three years and that if I bought another car, they could move it to the other car. I get charged $77 per month, which was lower than CarShield, and I'd recommend American Dream to a friend.

    I have a BMW and I know how much the repair price has gone up because I got some gear to it when I bought it, and it was $1,000. So, I wanted to make sure I wasn't paying out my yin-yang for vehicle repairs. I wanted to make sure my car was well covered, and I wanted to get my money's worth. I did some research on the best warranties and I was looking for something that was fairly reasonable. According to my research with Endurance, CarShield and American Dream, American Dream was the best one.

    My car is a ‘17 and I want to at least get five years of coverage. I spoke to a representative the first time and she gave me a deal. Warranties are negotiable, so I spoke to another one and he gave me a better deal. That rep was out of New York and he was from American Dream. He knew his stuff and he wasn't bashing the other company. He just guided me. At the time, I had Endurance, but I was in my 30-day window that I had a chance to opt out. I didn't tell him what company I had at the time, but I told him I already had it. He told me to compare what he gave me with what they gave me and see if they gave me the best of their warranty. And I realized that they didn't with the price I was paying for that warranty.

    American Dream's rep also spoke mostly about their products and their benefits. And when I'm spending my money, knowing your product is a big factor of me making the decision. So far, I have recommended American Dream to friends and I've had two friends who've gotten it within the last week. As far as the warranty, they should find one that fits their needs. Luckily, I found one that fit me. And if you want more bang for your buck and to feel confident in what you did, America Dream your choice.

The documents they send are lengthy and written in very small print, so take your time to read everything carefully. If you don’t have the time to go through it all, I’d recommend not doing business with them. In my opinion, this company feels like a scam. Unless you have a high-value car (around $50,000 or more), I would not recommend American Dream.

    American Dream Auto Protect is a very good extended warranty to have. The company sent me a text and I was looking for a warranty service, so I called and talked to them. I got my policy set up over the phone and the representative was knowledgeable, because he was able to ask me questions. After I answered his questions, he went into detail on what I qualified for. He gave me senior citizen and veteran discounts and those brought my monthly premium down to $99, which is very appreciated.

    American Dream told me that I got a two-year policy, and at the end of my policy, I wouldn't have to pay the $99 anymore. However, my name was spelled wrong, so I called back to get that straight. I got a different representative who left me on hold and I hung up, then I kept calling back. Every time I called back, I got a different representative who started up a new policy, and each policy they made on me had a different price. Instead of trying to override the previous representative, they should've went in and pulled up the original policy. The representatives from American Dream Auto Protect need to work as a team, not against each other. I had so many policies and I kept requesting the $99 one. In the end, they refunded my money back on all the policies they started and gave me my $99 policy.

    I only paid $99 the first month and while I've never filed a claim with American Dream Auto Protect, they told me everything was covered. The waiting period will not be over for three more weeks though. My check engine light is on, and the rep told me I had to wait, then I can take it and file a claim on the check engine light. It was a good deal because all the warranty service providers I had before wouldn't fix the check engine light issue. I had to do it on my own, and then all of a sudden, I got some texts from the company and I'm really happy. On a different note, somebody with their company, PCH, was calling me every day. I have blocked that number, but before I did that, I called back and it was American Dream Auto. They were showing up on my caller ID as PCH and the last time they called was November 7.

    Just based on their hard sell, I strongly recommend not using this company. I asked for a free quote and received two quotes. I said I would think about. Next day I received a call and was again given a quote and I said I was no longer interested. The caller kept going over the same sales pitch and I asked if he was listening to what I said. Eventually, I hung up on him. Since then, I have received at least 10 phone calls from the company about giving me a free quote. The last 3 assured me they would put me on their no-call list. Maybe third time is the charm? I told them this is harassment. I have blocked the numbers they call from but the calls keep coming from different numbers. If they are that desperate to sell, something is not right.

    Customer brought in car for timing chain noise. Wouldn't process claim. Had to send adjuster to verify. Then said it needed teardown to verify and that customer was responsible for cost of teardown. Car has already been here 30 days waiting on their approval. I have worked with every other warranty company and never had any issues. Wynn, ASC, Zurich, Endurance, and a few others. Never had any issues. I would steer clear of this company! They'll take your money and your car will sit. Only to have a claim denied after you go through their BS and you still have to pay the repair.

    I was googling and among American Dream, Endurance, and CarShield, American Dream had the best offer. Their rep on the phone knew what she was doing and she got a good mouthpiece. She said I get bumper-to-bumper coverage and I got 75,000 miles of warranty. But when I brought this vehicle to the bank, I didn't even get that. I got only 30,000 miles of coverage. Then she said that my deductible will be $100, and if I used the warranty company through the bank, I would have had a $500 deductible. So, I found the difference on it and I hope that in the long run, everything is what it is.

    I would tell my friends to go for American Dream. I had a buddy who went through Endurance and some of what he was told was covered turned out to be out of pocket expenses. When he told me about that, I was definitely not going with that one. Also, I had CarShield call me but I told them that I already found what I was looking for. If I made a mistake, then that's on me. I'll find out later on. But as of right now, my car runs good and I have no problems.

    Horrible customer service! They do not pay out on any claims. I had to pay out almost 12k on a timing chain failure one of the tensioner pulley gave out. They declined my claim after 4 months because of mileage. I only have 102k on range rover supercharged. It has a chain not a belt. Then I called in to cancel and get a refund. They offered to send me a check for $2000. Still waiting after 40 business days. Just stay away from this company. They only give you the runaround and overpromise but never payout!

    I was deciding between getting a new vehicle or keeping the one that I have. But at this time period, hoping that you don't end up with a large bill is not really an option. So I needed to either get into something that wasn't going to break down and still have some kind of coverage and/or have coverage on what I have now because there's nothing wrong with it, but all it takes is something.

    I called American Dream and the person that was talking to me was asking my purpose for getting the warranty, if I was looking for longevity, or if I was looking for just immediate coverage. He also asked what kind of shape my car was in and gave me several different options. I talked to the supervisor as well to see what other availabilities there were. It was fairly simple process and I didn't really have to ask too many questions. It was kind of prompted, so whoever answered the phone was fairly knowledgeable. The sign-up process was fairly quick, too. I didn't feel pressured, but their rep didn't let me get off the phone and said that if I had any questions, I should let him know and he'd go ask before I even have to look it up. And he did that for me. It seemed pretty easy to get your concerns across to them. So I'd tell others to give them a call, see what they say, and go from there.

    I have a ‘22 Jeep. It's in good shape, but it's turbo. If and when anything happens, it would be very expensive. So I'm getting the warranty as a preventative if I have trouble. I started looking for companies online, and several people called me. I wasn't really impressed with Carshield. Then the gentleman from American Dream called me and he was really nice. He was a really good guy. He went through every detail. I said, “Basically, you're saying it's bumper-to-bumper except for the tires,” and he said, “Yes.” But he continued what was covered, and I don't think there's anything on this Jeep that's not covered except for the tires. I got 4 brand-new tires on my car and I have roadside assistance. So the first 60,000 miles, it's covered with replacement tires. The plan that I got is at $135 a month.

    I'm really satisfied with Auto Dream. I'll be more so satisfied when I get something in the mail. I haven't gotten anything from them showing that I signed up or that I have protection. I know I have to wait a month before it becomes effective and the gentleman explained why, but I would like to have something to prove that I paid.

    I planned to pay off my car note sooner that the actual due time. I checked around to find the extended warranty plan that suits me. I received a call from American Dream Auto Protect (ADAP) after I decided to go with another company. I informed the ADAP that I had done so. He continued to convince me to change because ADAP has better coverage. Then he began to badmouth the company I went with. He even told me to Google the reviews for the other company to see for myself how bad this company is, and how many lawsuits they had. I told him that I will google both ADAP and the other company, and would get back to him in 24 hours. He went ballistic trying to convince me that ADAP is better.

    I continued to explained to him that I was not going to make any quick decisions based on what he said. Then he started out talking me and talking over me. I then told he to take me off their calling list, I was no longer interested. Three days now and ADAP is still calling me. Today, I recorded the call. I informed them, if another person call me I will escalate my complaint. If you don't want to be man-handled or pressured into a contract, don't use American Dream Auto Protect

    I’ve been with American Dream for three or four months with my Mercedes, and I may have heard about it through Instagram or some ad somewhere. And the representative who helped me over the phone was good. But I haven’t had any experience with them yet.

    I had CarShield before on my car, but I wasn’t happy with them because they advertised that you could bring your car to any dealer. So, I brought it to my dealer, and the dealer told me the repair cost is 6,000. And they told me they only pay $3,000, so I’m responsible for the other 3,000. But with American Dream, the representative told me that the most I have to pay is the $100 co-pay, no matter where I bring it, which is a much better deal.

    Before fall rolled around, I was shopping around for affordable warranty for my 2017 Ford Taurus. I came across this company. I spoke with a sales rep that promised me the best warranty which was the Platinum package that covered basically everything mechanical from engine, transmission, water pump, etc. The monthly price I was given was $129/mo. Very reasonable.

    Here comes the downside. About two weeks ago, my car's water pump started overheating and was taken to a local facility here in Michigan. The cost was around $2700 to repair. The repair shop submitted the claim to ADAP's administrators, and it came back denied. The reason was because of overheating which was an exclusion apparently. I reached out to customer service and to someone in administration about this and they denied it again. I had to come out of pocket and literally go through rigorous hell to pay for the repairs. I had several lawyers look at the contract that ADAP gave me when I purchased the agreement and they all say that their contracts aren't real because of their exclusions list and the fact that they didn't require a vehicle inspection report prior to purchase. I went ahead and cancelled the contract with them. Never again will I choose this company.

    My husband read the information and said it covers most everything in the car, except your battery, your tires, and oil changes. The program is five years and it’s already started. I was able to take advantage of roadside assistance and a rental car.

    The vehicle is a 2012, so you figure something could go wrong for a car that’s 13 years old. We just want to be covered if there’s an issue. I’m very pleased with American Dream Auto Protect.

    I’m a retired person, and I thought I better protect myself financially with another warranty because I had a warranty that expired. I looked at all the major ones like Endurance and CarShield, but I like the premium at American Dream. I also like their coverage. While I was satisfied with their representative, they said they were gonna send me a declaration page but I have never received that.
