Worst experience ever! They "dispatched" 2 companies to pick up the vehicle. When no one shoes up they charges extra to "dispatch" another company. Turns out the second dispatched company ended up picking it up later. Now 6 months later it turns out they never paid the transportation company and was double brokering. Now the transport company sent it to collections, and collections is saying since it's a double broker situation and the other is "out of business" now I am liable and must pay. So not only did American Auto charge me EXTRA, they never paid the transport company and now I have to pay them too.

I contacted three shipping companies for a quote to transport my car from DC to Houston. Initially, their offer seemed reasonable compared to the others, but in the end, I ended up paying roughly the same amount as with the other companies. So, the shipping cost was not actually lower than it seemed at first. While the price wasn't my main concern, I needed the car delivered promptly and was promised pickup within 48 hours. I was instructed to pay in full upfront to speed up the process. However, it took five days for them to inform me that the driver was about 30 minutes away. With little notice, I rushed to prepare for the driver's arrival, only to discover nine hours later that he was still 30 minutes away. Three days later, I received the car in Houston, but without any prior notification of the arrival time. My main concern, aside from the pricing issue, is their poor communication skills. Had I known this, I would have searched for a different company first.

I had booked my vehicle shipping with American Auto Shipping more than 2 weeks before my pick-up date 10/4. However, it was delay but no one called me. I had called them, they said the pickup date will be from 10/7-10/10. They said if I want to pick up earlier I need to pay more $100-$300. I feel like they tried to make customer pay more since I had been waiting about 3 weeks. One of customer service guys said that because I did not understand in English. I feel discrimination because my language is second language.

I called American Auto Shipping because I had read good reviews and heard they were reliable but their customer service is absolutely atrocious. I ended up not booking with them because of how extremely rude and condescending the customer service rep was to me. Then when I made other arrangements they repeatedly harassed me via text and email to book with them even after I asked them to take me off of their list and that I had made other arrangements. Just absolutely floored by how terrible the customer service was.

Non Payment Owe Transport Companies a lot of Money. Most like closing shop., going bankrupt. Missing my payment. Bond Canceled. 45 + Active Claims. Central Dispatch Notified. Investigation is underway. Shady Fraudulent Practice.

This company will make you pay upfront. They will say they will ship the care in a specific time frame (i.e. 1-5 days). However, when they do not ship the car in time and you try to cancel, they will not process a full refund. Recommend using one of the many other companies that make you pay upon delivery to avoid this scam.

Absolutely no longer recommend them. This was my second time using them within a year. Things seemed fine until something went wrong. And how a company responds when things go wrong is actually the true test of their how good they really are. With the second delivery, there was damage to my car. They unfortunately were of no help and I just got the runaround. They will just defer you to the carrier and tell you there's nothing they can do. Their $500 promo to cover you if there is damage not covered by the carrier is useless. Why would you go through your insurance and risk increasing your premiums when the carrier is supposed to have insurance and is responsible for the damage?! Highly disappointed with them and obviously would never use them again or recommend them to anyone else.

I scheduled my car to be shipped via this company since it had the lowest rate and had the option of paying partial down and then the rest upon car delivery. I needed to transport my car from Washington to Texas for relocation. I booked it a week in advance to give them ample time to find drivers or whatever it is they need to work on. No communication at all whatsoever unless you call them, which no one will even pickup unless you call 3 or 4 times consecutively. I need my car to be picked up no later than Saturday afternoon and it’s Wednesday and still no communication at all.

Everything was good with American Auto. The pickup and delivery were on time and there were no issues. It was perfect. The driver was polite and notified us when the vehicle got picked up and all the way to when I took possession of my car. The transport took about six days. He hit an ice storm through Oklahoma but it was fine. It was part of the weather so I couldn't control that.

The drivers didn't speak any English, so that was hard. It was weird. But I enjoy the service. American Auto Shipping is thorough. I would use them again in the near future.

American Auto Shipping's quote was accurate and reasonable. They got the shipping done on the timeframe. The only problem I had was communication. The guys weren't very fluent in English. Other than that, I was told when they were gonna show up. They showed up. They picked the car up and they came over to my house and dropped it off.

Once I accepted the quote, they reached out to me to get the shipping arrangements made and get the details of the truck that I was shipping. They guaranteed the ship within a week but it shipped the next day. The pick-up was in Florida and the drop-off was in Illinois and it only took a couple of days. I’d recommend American Auto Shipping.

I worked with someone named Andrew at American Auto Shipping. I originally booked with a different company and had pretty bad service there. I got a little bit nervous about shipping my car, so I reached out to American Auto. They were super fast, gave me a lower rate than the other place, and my car came back in perfect condition. They communicated on the phone and via text, which was helpful. They also had email communication. But the quote they gave me changed a little bit because I had a couple of boxes and I didn't know that having my car filled with anything was going to cost extra. So, it ended up costing a few 100 extra. Other than that, I had a great experience and I've recommended someone to them a few days ago.

They were fantastic. They were more responsive than other companies and they were also more reasonable price-wise. The driver was fantastic too.

The guy at American Auto Shipping was pleasant to talk to. The rates were good and they were able to do what nobody else could do in such a short amount of time. The driver told me when they would be there. There was a slight delay but they let me know. When they were about to deliver, they gave me a call an hour before the delivery and stayed in touch through text message to let me know where they were.

They were quick and very efficient with getting right back to me. It was the same day for somebody to come out and pick up the car. They were on time. The driver got here when he said he would. He was efficient. He checked the car out, took pictures, and loaded it up. He took it directly to where it was going and got there when he said it would. The quote was right in line with everybody else, but the rep gave me a discount. It was a very pleasant experience.

The American Auto Shipping reps answered everything. We did the transport about a month ahead of time, and they've called us throughout that time. My husband was concerned to see if he could put anything in the car when they shipped it. He put some fishing poles in there. They said there would be no problem with that. So, everything was taken care of. The transport took three days. They met us at the entry of our subdivision and went over the car. When they delivered it in Tennessee, we were not here. They delivered it by my cousin's house and that went very smoothly as well.

American Auto Shipping's reps knew all the ins and outs. The driver was courteous. I knew when he would be there. It was easy, well-organized, done on time, and the car was delivered in one piece.

Everything was fine with American Auto Shipping. They were professional and knowledgeable and the driver was responsive.

We had a great experience with American Auto Shipping. Vehicle was picked up as planned and delivered as planned. Delivery price was locked in and no added hidden fees. The driver Taras kept me informed during his trip. The car was a special delivery for my granddaughter and he took extra care. Everyone I talked to was always courteous and professional.

Sharif Transportation was wonderful from pick up to drop off. And, American Auto Shipping was very easy to work with. They kept their word with pricing and reliability. My move from PA to Florida was flawless, at least for our 3 cars and their delivery, not everything else. Lol... Highly recommended!

Our GMC Terrain was picked up on time in Venice, Florida and delivered to Knoxville, Tennessee in a timely manner. We would highly recommend American auto Shipping! The price was right and the customer service was excellent. The driver was friendly and answered all our questions.

I had a great experience with this company. There was a slight issue with the pick up date/driver but it was fixed immediately when I reached out to the company. I'm a travel nurse that ships my car often to avoid putting excess miles on my car, and I'll definitely use this company again in the future.

The response time is fast, they carry you along all through the process from pick-up to drop-off. I wasn't even in the city where my car was picked up but it was delivered to me safely in Greensboro.

Everything was great, but I felt like the pricing varied greatly from when I was searching to when I went to check out. The vehicle selection was decent. I found it difficult to find exactly what I wanted, within a certain distance, and with features I desired.

My service was amazing. Everything was on time, great communication, great service, and fantastic service overall. The driver communicated with me when things were running behind and I was always able to text him. They called afterward to make sure everything was great.

This is a review for auto transport. Pick up was quicker than expected. Drop off was sooner than expected. Driver was pleasant. Customer service was great. Communication went quickly. Car was moved rapidly. Car was in excellent condition upon drop off. All in all an excellent service that I would recommend to my friends.

This company is user friendly, timely, and simply professional. They treat your auto like precious cargo. I will use them again because of their ability to orchestrate all things considered when undertaking such a large task. My auto reached destination without any problems. No damage control required!

I used American Auto Shield before, and it was awesome. This second one with the BMW, it was horrible. The pickup was fine. When it was time to deliver, they said that someone had a family emergency which was understandable. But it was something after another. When I got my car, mud was everywhere, even inside. I also recently got tow fees in the mail when the car was not in my possession. They never answered the phone. I left a message and requested a manager to call me regarding these tow fees.

American Auto Shipping's rep was excellent with her availability, the talk, and her knowledge of the company procedures. The driver's communication was great. He let me know exactly where he was and I had a tracker, so it was good.

They gave me a decent price. Also, I had a couple of questions and they were available 24/7, which was helpful. I spoke with a few people over the course of months and they were all pleasant and helpful. The driver was pleasant as well. I'm satisfied with the service and the cost.

Everything was simple and upfront with American Auto Shipping. The pickup and delivery were great. The guy was very accommodating and did all the proper stuff. American Auto Shipping picked the Subaru up at the right time and delivered it. They didn't ask for any money on the other end.

The person that answered the phone was very informative. I didn't know a lot about how to calculate mileage, how they were gonna do it. I was under the impression I could pack my car and they said, "No, you can't." He was the only person that took the time to answer all my questions and he followed up. It was great customer service.

It's been awesome with American Auto Shipping. They shipped for me once then I kept using them moving forward. It's been easy for the most part. Usually, it's the release that's the problem, not the carrier. The drivers are excellent. They usually drop the vehicles at my house, which is awesome. They get delivered at all hours of the day, night, or weekends. I tell my wife, “It's easier to pay somebody to have it delivered to our house than for me to spend the day going and picking it up." It's worth every penny.
