My experience was very good. The individual who took my call was very helpful indicating that I needed to contact the dealership and have them call Car Shield. I would recommend car Shield to anyone who asks. This is my first time to use this service.

Nathan is a very good rep for Car Shield that help me stay with my plan so I would miss out on coverage, was thinking of dropping and missing out on all the great deals but after talking to him and him talking to his supervisor I stayed where I belonged.

The Customer Service rep was friendly and knowledgeable. The price was affordable and with no contract it was worth it to give it a try. The Deductibles and rental coverage as well as roadside assistance were also deciding factors.

When my transmission needed repairs my claim was denied for a reason my master mechanic did not understand. Was totally misled by this firm. I asked for a response in writing. I has purchased the platinum protection. I could not be more disappointed in a product.

Professional, courteous, friendly and most of efficient knowledgeable. Appreciate the normalcy of the encounter. Real person conversation was as if we were old friends old made me feel comfortable as well as at ease not tensed. The whole conversation of the transaction took less than 5 minutes and right after hanging up I received an email in reference to my inquiry.

The lady told me everything I needed to know and everything was alright. And if I needed help with thing else just ask and I ask her if I needed my car fitted how much deductible would I have to pay. She told and I said, "OK. Thank you." It's truly a blessing to have Car shield.

I went to my dealership today to have a repair down on the sunroof of my car. I told them I had CarShield to help pay the bill and was informed that they don't honor carshield anymore. When I asked why, they said that for the last 6 months or so they were having trouble getting paid by them so the GM of the dealership said they would no longer accept them. They are a big name dealership here in NC. What good does this warranty do me if the place I take my car to for servicing doesn't accept them?

I'm so unhappy about repairs to my car not being approved, if I must pay totally out of pocket, I'm pay just to say I have warranty, I'll save money by not having warranty. I've been a member 4 yrs, did my maintenance, and I'll decline to pay, no thank you.

The worst decision I ever made was to buy policies with this company; best decision I ever made was to cancel them. Wish I had done it a year ago -- or better still, that I had NEVER bought them to begin with! This company cost me thousands of dollars in premiums, and when I finally needed them, they only paid me a small fraction of my repair bill. I paid 6 months' worth of premiums upfront in a lump sum for two cars, and thereafter they deducted almost $200/month in premiums from my checking account -- but every time I called them for a question or a concern, they told me my policies were "backed out" and I had to go through a rigmarole to prove to them that my policies were still in force. LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE TIME!
When I finally asked them to cover a repair bill for me, they not only told me again that my policies were "backed out", they told it TWICE to my mechanic when he called to discuss the bill with them. At one point a CSR promised to have a supervisor call me that afternoon, but I never received a call from a supervisor. I called the CSR back the next day to find out why, and she told me there were notes in my file from the supervisor all about the call she had just had with me -- which never took place! And they don't pay you the amount of your bill, they pay you what they THINK you should have been charged by your garage, based on what they claim are national averages. Well, I live in Appalachia, where everything is CHEAP, and they claimed that my bill was almost $100 more than I should have been charged -- so for a $339 bill they only covered $156 of it, after all the premiums I paid them!
I wasted THOUSANDS of dollars in premiums on this scam, and I lost it all. Some of the CSR's were nice and tried to help, but the supervisors were either non-responsive or rude. One supervisor essentially tried to bribe me into not writing bad reviews about CarShield by offering to refund some of my premiums! DO NOT BUY POLICIES FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS!

I can’t believe after numerous phone conversations with the staff at Carshield and confirmed this account was updated indicating my husband, Ken **, passed 2/3/20 and you have the audacity to send an email to me with his name still on this account! How incompetent!

Every Customer Service Representative has been friendly and helpful. I have peace of mind now that I have used CarShield and hoping to save money on future repairs. I also have coverage for my state emission testing. Hope I don’t have to use it but glad that I have it.

After Lee had me re-fax my original fax of the middle of September. I called back, October 1st to check and make sure it was received. Amanda checked and found that it was received. Will CB on 10/5 for the review departments decision. This far, pleased with customer service.

I had a gasket leak. That was not a covered part which is ridiculous. If you're going to warrant cars then any part that fails that is not the owner's fault should be covered. If not then advertise that many things are not covered.

I took my car the Honda Shop to be diagnosed. Once the diagnosis was completed I contact Car Shield. The customer service reps were great. The mechanic (Karim **) filed a claim but the Adjuster never called the mechanic to acknowledge the claim. I continued to call 1.800.587.4162 for days but I only received a recorded voice mail. I call customer service for an adjuster, I was told he was going to call the mechanic that day, but no luck. I am very disappointed.

Explained all and efficient. Nicole had the information ready because she is in sales. Usually I ignore these offers, but I felt that this car might be expensive to maintain over a length of time. German cars need more maintenance than Japanese cars. Have owned both and this was true in my experience.

This is the first time we’ve used CarShield. The dealership I went to didn’t want to deal with CarShield so I had to pay upfront. I have submitted a claim, it would be nice to get an email saying they received it and what the status is instead of giving so many emails that are surveys! I did call and ask the lady on the phone did say they got it transferred me to claims and was on hold forever. Contract number is ** 2011 KIA Sorento.

The dealership that performs the mechanical work on my vehicles, recommended a transmission replacement for my vehicle when a diagnostic indicated such. Your company refused to comply with the recommended repairs and I continue to experience problems with my vehicle and you have said it's because the problem is electrical. I am dissatisfied.

It took a while before my claim was approved for the repairs. I didn't understand why, I had to pay so much for my repairs. The Service Advisor said that I had to pay for parts and overtime for engine repair.

We had to cancel that one and re-issue the payment to a new email. That did take longer than expected and normally it does not take that long. We apologize for any inconvenience.

My Rep Mary was amazing. And I worked for a competitor being ForeverCar and I still went with CarShield because of the customer service by Mary and the Gold Level Coverage for my 2013 Passat. I will have CarShield for all my cars now and my family’s and friend’s cars also. Thanks again CarShield.

After receiving and reviewing my contract, I could not find components that my salesperson stated would be covered. Called customer service to complain about this, to review contract covered components to make sure I was not missing the system within the contract. Afterwards received a discount on continued coverage vice cancelling contract.

I needed my contract number and question on electrical for my tail lights. I was given my number and was told that the circuit board was covered. I was then told the dealership will call you if I need a claim to be done.

Been over a week without my vehicle, waiting for an approval so dealership can just start. Bad so far. If it does not get approved before end of week, will definitely be canceling the account, terrible. So far this company sucks.

It appears we needed service records, however, we were sent snapshots of things that were written down on a piece of cardboard. Those files did not suffice as legitimate records. That caused a 6 day delay until we received legitimate records on 9/30. We are moving along as quickly as we possibly can on this claim.

I was a bit concerned when I did have to file a claim when I called and the hold time was thru the roof! Myself nor the shop could get in contact with anyone to get a claim going, But once it finally got thru to speak to someone they were really good and helped me with my issue. The shop was a procrastinating on doing their side of things but CarShield was on point and got me the info I needed and I got the claim submitted, they finally fixed the vehicle,

I have recently lost employment and I thought I was going to lose my insurance through Car Shield but to my delight the gentleman I spoke to reassured me that wasn't going to happen and he moved my payment to November 1st and I was really happy with his professionalism. This gives me the leeway I need to get new employment and get the bill paid????

My car has been broke for 2 weeks. CarShield confirmed that my transmission would be at dealership a week ago. My payment is still coming out of my bank Acct. No transmission has shown up yet. I need to really talk with someone about this. I have referred my friends to get CarShield but it’s not working for me. I’m very dissatisfied with this Company.

My car has been at Cottman transmission for 10 days it took 4 days for the inspector to go to the shop. 2 days to hear from Car Shield. Cottman was told to drop transmission and open it up. My car is sitting there now 4 days still waiting. I found online that the Transmission Module for the 2009 model was recalled. Cottman told me that the labor to drop the transmission is not covered by insurance and Car Shield knows that $450 Cottman also requested a different representative as they have had to wait nearly 5 days for a response. I asked Cottman to test the Transmission Module. I am still waiting. The price for extended warranty is great. But when the agent laughs when he told me what will be covered it was very disconcerting. Volkswagen does not accept this warranty.

When I called to purchase this warranty I was told that as long as I can provide proof the oil was changed it would be fine. I specifically told them we changed our own oil. We have the receipts as my husband worked for a dealership. 3 months after we purchased the policy the timing chains went out. They denied the claim because they said there was minor sludge in the engine-- the car is a 2008 w/ 140k miles--it's an old car. ALL old cars have minor sludge build-up. They said that we did not have the mileage written down for EVERY oil change- this was not in the policy that we had to have mileage.
They do not have any intention of ever covering a claim if you do your own oil change. They told the service writer they denied the claim due to no mileage on the oil changes. They told us a different story - sludge. Of course they aren't going to tell a mechanic they denied it because of sludge they would have gotten told EVERY car has sludge. The inspector told the service writer the engine was fine. They did nothing but lie. This is a fraudulent company that never had any intention of following their contract.

Sorry you feel that way. You signed up in late June with us, and that amount of sludge would have been there prior to that date meaning there was a lack of maintenance done. It’s been a week since I have had my 2013 Chrysler 300 towed to dealership after it just started leaking red and pink fluid. Dealership checked out vehicle. Said it needed radiator and thermostat and they contacted Car Shield. Car Shield says they will send radiator from their warehouse and not use dealerships. Also they will not cover thermostats which dealer wants 401$ plus 1014$ For radiator. Car shield only wants to cover only 2hrs of labor which each part is 4.5 hrs of labor.
Ok just when I thought it couldn’t get any worser the dealer calls me today and say that they removed my radiator and noticed the fluids were coming from water pump and they need to call car shield and see would they cover that! OMG I feel like it was the water pump the whole time and dealer did not diagnose my car problem correctly. I hope things get better.

We've been moving along as quickly as possible with your claim. It's currently approved for $584 for the window switch and radiator repair. I do not see any info regarding the water pump or thermostats, however. In terms of the hours, we use a nationwide labor system that almost all shops use. I filed a claim which CarShield closed for some reason. CarShield caused a big delay when they closed the claim and I paid out of pocket for my rental with no reimbursement. After the parts were finally inspected they only paid a partial amount on repairs.

In some cases, an inspection is needed and without it we had to close the claim. Once we inspected the vehicle we approved the claim. No blower for any of the dash controls. Take it to Kelly Automotive in Gilbert, AZ. They performed diagnostics and confirmed. CarShield's response was it was a bad transistor and therefore not covered. The transistor (required to work the blower motor) is not covered but yet the blower motor is covered???? I am sending this out as a public podcast to let everybody know about CarShield and how they basically split hairs. Everyone please take heed. Thank you CarShield but the services won't be needed in the future.

For the blower motor, 2 components failed. The transistor and ignition coil. We can only pay for the parts listed in your contract. So we paid for the ignition coil and saved you $205 on that repair. I am also showing another claim we paid $418 for earlier this month for a fuel injector. So we saved you $623 this month alone. Sorry to hear your cancelling after we saved you that much.

Purchased this warranty in May and filed a claim in early September. It took them more than 3 weeks to respond. Just received a call from mechanic saying my claim was denied because cause of engine failure could not be determined but POSSIBLY due to sludge. The mechanic says he DISAGREES 100% with that decision. I get regular oil changes. What is the point of having this warranty? I need a refund for all the payments I made. First, sorry for the delay. The inspector was waiting on the repair facility to remove the oil pan prior to coming out. In terms of your actual claim, when sludge builds up in the engine it can cause it to fail and lockup. Per your contract, signs of engine sludge would be cause for a denied claim. You're welcome to contact American Auto Shield if you and your repair facility disagree. We, at CarShield, do not handle claims and have no control over the decision.

Carshield will not stand behind you when their contracted auto warranty company avoids paying a claim. I have paid my premiums on time faithfully and now that my car desires work I'm being told NO. The rep even asked why are they refusing to pay because she didn't see an adequate reason. She was heartbroken for me as I cried because I'm a mother of 3, furloughed and now have a useless warranty policy and 3k+ pending bill to get my car fixed. Updated Review on 09/24/2020: Do not add Carshield as a extended warranty company. I've been going through this process for 2 months. 1999 Lexus Rx 300 has been at Lexus Dealership and Mr. Transmission. Their main objective was to find out a cause of failure in transmission. My contract which states if anything happens over 500 miles, my transmission would be repaired if something happens to it, in which I went 507 miles of my contract and something internally caused my transmission to burn out. Now Carshield will not pay the claim because they feel like they are not liable, because an inspector made allegations as if something was going bad in the transmission before I added their coverage. In that case, they should have got the transmission inspected before allowing to add coverage to my vehicle.
But that's not true. If you Google "1999 Lexus Rx 300 Transmission issues," that was a bad transmission from the dealership, and everyone who had that same year and SUV went through the same issues I had, I added the coverage just in case of somethings like this happening, I was thinking Carshield would be a company that would stand behind their warranty. From 2 month experience, no one needs to add them as extended warranty company because they only want your money to pay for your own repairs in the end, or they want to make it seem as if you're in fault.
They should not be allowed to operate... Even the inspector has not given me a cause of failure and but my transmission specialist gave them a cause of failure and this is a 60 year accredited company in Greenville, SC. I had 2 adjusters. The first adjuster approved my claim then 2 weeks later after my adjuster resigned, another adjuster along with a specialist disapproved the claim... That's not a company anyone should be giving their hard-earned money to. They should be fined and closed down permanently.
This happened on 9-24-2020 when my claim was not approved yet it was approved 2 weeks ago. I had a nice rep today that tried to find me a transmission to accommodate me but that is not my responsibility to have to pay for something I had warranty on. CarShield should not be allowed to operate within the United States of America. They owners need to be shut down and prosecuted for giving false information or need to inspect vehicles before letting consumers add coverage to their vehicle because they've really disappointed me with their excuses today.
Original Review: This has been situation has been an ongoing situation for over 2 months, I am a Senior Citizen on a fixed income and I dont have any more patience for Carshield. I have a 1999 Lexus Rx300 that has a bad transmission. I first took the vehicle to the Lexus dealership, and it wasnt fixed because Lexus of Greenville couldnt give Carshield the exact origin from where the issue with my transmission started, (where does it say that when you first add the policy). Still had to pay Lexus for the info letting them know it was a internal failure.
After back in forth with carshield/autoshield I was told to take it to Mr. transmission, because they want to know what caused the internal failure, Please Read this Thoroughly, the transmission has been torn apart, pictures were emailed over about the cause of failure that a hight mileage transmission with 160,000 on it was caused from. They are trying their best not to pay this claim that they are obligated to pay, this is false advertising, and they are the biggest scam artist that has ever conned me, just taking people's hard earned money and not approving their claims.
These transmission in my particular vehicle go bad after from 75,000-150,000 miles so no matter what they say the cause of failure is which assume they are trained to say it's something that I did (wear&tear) or something that is not within the claim approving transmission guidelines the truth is they just scam individuals out their money.
I did not know until I done further research and I googled "1999 lexus rx300 transmission issues" in which lexus should have recalled these transmissions but they didnt, so Carshield's late night advertising, allowed me to be conned into thinking I had additional insurance just in case my engine or transmission goes out, so me being gullible and having Old Age Carshield/Autoshield have taken advantage of me, they should have let me know they were not going to warranty my transmission before allowing me to add additional coverage on this vehicle for this Powertrain Failing Situation, before allowing me to think they were a accredited company that would pay claims in situations like this because I would have added a better extended warranty to my car for Engine and Transmission.
The adjuster and a female supervisor know that my claim should of been approved they made it sound like they were going to pay the claim but I call everyday and they never return my call, and all the reps are able to give me is that it is pending. They are taking advantage of American Citizens making Mr. Transmissions do additional work then attempt to make it look as if the consumer is at fault but you can see from my experience that I done nothing wrong because it is thousands of individuals that had transmission issues with this suv, just Google "1999 lexus rx300 transmission issues" and it's there in plain site. It was a design flaw in the valve body. Also scroll down and enter some forums, such as lexusclub, carproblemzoo and many more, I have been waiting for what particular excuse they are going to give me to not approve my claim.
Please Google "1999 Lexus Rx300 Transmission Issues" and you will see it is Thousands of 1999 Lexus Rx300 transmission issues, that was a internal failure that would just cause the transmission to stop and they were complaining to the lexus dealership, by me not researching my car until an issue happened I'm stuck having to stress myself out with Carshield/Autoshield about them paying the claim to my vehicle in which their Fine Line Print still meets the requirements from which they are supposed to get me another transmission.
If not they need to shut this company down and pay all the claims that they have denied cause my situation where they are prolonging paying my claim trying to make me look like it's something I done but in reality it was just bad transmission that lexus put in that particular vehicle that should of been recalled but nonetheless carshield/autoshield should not be stressing me out by having me pay monthly or having to try to try to come up with money to fix my own transmission when that they are responsible for, I want my damn car fixed, if not I advise NO ONE to add carshield as an extended warranty, they are a scam.
I should have researched carshield/autoshield before I allowed them to swindle me out of my cash, yet my situation is a perfect 2 1/2 month ongoing situation of why you should not add carshield as your extended warranty yet all they do is Brag about how many million they have spent this year on claims but my claim has been pending for almost a month for a situation involving a bad design for the 1999 Lexus Rx300 transmission....From which they are trying to make it look as if something that doesnt involve them paying for, from the fine lines customer service reps dont send tell you when you add them as extended coverage.
I want everyone on Instagram, Facebook and every other social media outlet to know that they are a scam and all the adjusters try to do is work against you as if you are dealing with the opposing insurance company who wants extended warranty company that tries to work against you my advice is to add any other car extended warranty to your car. Just Do NOT Add Carshield from my experience....

Then what really insane is how they are making the hardworkers over at Mr. Transmissions in Greenville, SC do additional work breakdown a transmission to find a cause of failure just attempt to make it look as if the consumer caused the issue from something I did, which it was just a Bad Transmission that was installed into that particular vehicle, it's nothing I done that transmission just gone bad from 75-160,000, miles...
I dont my money back from the months I paid I want my transmission fixed or face some lawsuits....I've already lost a job from this situation and I'm ready to take y'all to do what I have to do to stop companies like this from taking advantage of the common American Citizen no matter their race. I wish the claim process should be rapid. This was the feedback I got from some auto shop I visited when searching for CarShield approved shops. These auto shop frowned at the time lag and round around it takes to respond to them during and after services was completed.

There was work done on my 2012 Nissan Pathfinder back in April. I still haven’t received the reimbursement check for the car rental. I have been lied to too many times about it being sent out. I find it very funny that you could demand a monthly payment but you cannot fulfill your obligation.

I will be leaving Car Shield after this repair is completed. From the service, where none of the reps I spoke with (at least 4) had any idea what to do, to the actual work. My garage/repair shop had the part - a radiator - but were not allowed to use it given they were forced to wait to receive another 're-manufactured' radiator from Auto Zone in Memphis. This caused me not to have any transportation for at least 5 days longer than necessary. As I write this, I am still without a car because of this unnecessary situation created by Car Shield.
One of your supervisors even told me that the reason you use re-manufactured parts is so that your customers (me) don't come out of pocket any more than we already are, to which I responded, I am paying for a service with CS which so that I won't have to come out of pocket at all. Otherwise, what do I need CS for? He had no answer. But, the conversation is certainly apropos, given CS says it is also not going to pay for some of the labor charges needed to replace the radiator. An all around angering experience. Which is why I am leaving CS, and telling the world about my experience via social media.

Sorry to hear you have had a less that satisfactory experience. I am showing your claim is approved for $732 for the radiator. You always have the option of choosing the part the repair shop has and just paying the difference. We offer re-manufactured parts in some cases because we know it can help save you even more. In terms of labor, we do that on your behalf to make sure that repair shops do not over charge for the work. This is outlined in your policy and we are happy to go over that with you. AAS is really rude, passive/aggressive, unprofessional and unresponsive to the needs of your customers. My repair was finished Friday afternoon. The dealership and I were told payment would be processed and delivered on Friday then we were told it would be Saturday and here it is Thursday the following week in payments finally been submitted. Thankfully, I was able to put the bill on a credit card otherwise I would’ve been in a rental this entire time which is wasteful and abusive. I am really saddened at the delay And moreover, the abusive attitudes of the persons to which I spoke.

Once the claim was approved, I am showing we were waiting on the signed invoice in order the process the payment. We cannot send out the payment unless you sign off on it. Once we had that, we sent out the payment to the repair facility.

I called the dealership of my Subaru Forester to make an appointment to repair my "Humming" noise of my rear end bearings and also my "Leaking" transmission. The sales person misrepresented the coverage waiting period - since the documents were not available for review until after I had entered into the contract - now I am faced with a better than 2k. So after the purchase of the car I felt a warranty was a wise thing, I guess I should not have chosen Car Shield.

I see we emailed over the contract the day you signed up. You then have 30 days to review your contract while you're in the waiting period. As stated on the call and on the contract, you must also surpass 500 miles from the day you signed up before you can submit a claim. However, we see you needed seals and gaskets and shock absorbers replaced. Those are not listed for coverage. Please contact us and we can go over your coverage with you and answer any questions you may have about it.

CarShield has been GREAT for me, I have gotten carshield for 3 different cars I owned and have never been disappointed. I only insured my car for long trips, that way if I broke down on my trip carshield could help. However I was lucky enough to only need carshield one time for repairs. It was a bit of a slow process getting the car repaired, but carshield did pay. I highly recommend CarShield.

The reason why I'm disappointed with service is. When I was quoted the price. I was never about paying additional taxes. I was under the impression that it was the same as car insurance deductible. In the way you just pay the deductible and that's it.

I was paying 89.99 a month and 100.00 dollar per claim. My car 2011 Ford Fusion SEL need a Throttle cover. Yet, CarShield didn’t cover it. What’s the point of having it! Rather than paying 100.00 as advertised, it’s had to pay over $400!!!

I have a well-loved 10-year-old vehicle that is in great condition. However, I know from my experience with a previous SUV that a vehicle can be perfectly maintained and things still break down, especially if you have a lot of powered features on it. For what it cost to have the power windows repaired on the previous vehicle I could have paid CarShield premiums for two years! CarShield was recommended to me by a neighbor who owns a mechanic shop, and I am forever grateful. I hope I never need to use them, but it's nice to know they are there.

I was driving when a spark plug came out of the head destroyed plug head threads of cylinder and coil pack. I was told that weren't gonna cover that. But when I got my n policy I purchased one of the best ones the gentlemen who sold it to me said any engine trouble I would be covered. I'm paid 100 bucks a month for coverage that I wasn't sure I could count on.

They really do pay for the parts and labor and at a low out of pocket cost to the customer. I will continue to use Car Shield and recommend them to my friends and others. Always be sure that you and the repair shop use email and not try going through customer service. If you do it will take you longer than you expect and make you very upset like I was. I was ready to think they were a scam, however it turned out that they do what they say they will do. Thank you Car Shield.

So far everything is ok. Service reps are real nice on the phone. Haven't used it yet but I'm sure I will soon. My car is 20 years old with 116,087 miles. It runs just fine but it gets over 40 below here in Fairbanks Alaska.

My experience with CarShield has been absolutely abhorrent. After checking with them that the work was covered, I submitted a claim 0n Jul. 17th and got no response. After a couple of weeks I tried to call with no luck. Their call back system didn't work as explained. Finally got some at one of the other numbers (they seem to have several). They said an adjuster was suppose to contact me. NEVER HAPPENED. Finally got someone at the claims department (which is a different company??). They said, "One of your documents was blurry and we couldn't read it." So I scanned it and resubmitted it on 8/18 asking for an acknowledgement that they got it. NOTHING!! It is now going on 2 months with NO contact from them at all.

The last note on your account on 8/18 is asking for you to send over your invoice. Typically, the repair shop would contact us prior to doing any repairs that way you'll know ahead of time if it is covered or not. Please give us a call if you have any questions.

Dissatisfaction with the person I talk to when getting the diamond package. I thought it would cover my convertible top when the motor quit working. I'm a very dissatisfied customer. There were things that I was not told. There were things that was covered. They misleading people on TV too. They would let me talk to anyone until they got my money and told me after the monthly payment was taken out of my account.

Car dealership laughed when I said the word “CarShield”. $2600 NOT covered. Went to smaller repair shop — laughed when I said “carshield”. Spend a lot of money to be told NOT COVERED. Carshield is actually just a salesman. Insurance is through another company. Carshield could do nothing nor call and dispute the non coverage. Take your money and run. Truly a sham company.

A few different times in the process of my claim there has been a drop in communication and I have had to call in to get any answers or recommendations on how to move forward in the process. that's a problem because I do a lot for my family and for my job, and I only have one vehicle. Trying to be a responsible adult and get the problem fixed before it becomes worse is always my plan, but dealing with this company for the first time, after getting recommended to you guys as a quality company, has been stressful and fatiguing. I was going to close my account but the agent made me change my mind. She gave me some option to fax my receipt in. I might be able to get some of my fee wavier that I paid out of my pocket when I took my car to get it fix and the people there said they dont' take Car Shield. I had to get a replace radiator for my car Chevy Sonic.

I was told that my plan covered the power windows. First the master window switch went out. Not covered. Then the window regulator/motor went out. First they said it was covered, then after I got it fixed they denied the claim and said it was not covered. Other than the window glass itself, which I know is not covered, the window switches, motor, and regulator is all there is to the power windows. So if you don't cover all the components of power windows, then exactly what DO you cover when you say power windows are covered?

The agent was very helpful and I felt very comfortable talking to them. It seems that every time I speak with someone it always end on a good note. The only thing I'd change in your policy is not waiting for something to break completely before you'll cover it. Sometimes a breakage could cause something even bigger to break. Just a thought.

Had work done on my car by Passport Toyota in Maryland. Submitted the statements from Toyota, I will admit after the work was accomplished. Was told by Car Shield that the submission should have come before the work was accomplished but to send the paperwork anyway and I did. I have gotten some positive feedback without any action to follow up by CarShield.

I LATISHA ** been with Car Shield since June. 107.00 a month which is a total of 321.00. I called in asking questions about my transmission NOT no complaint or making claims. I asked them what if it take some time for my car to go in drive. That's it. To be denied after they (Car Shield) finance company tell me to take my Car to a shop I got towed 200.00. They paid 125.00 and I paid 75.00. Again they denied me my service. NOW I HAVE TO PAY for towing again which is another 75.00. That's 150.00 total. I also have to PAY FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC. I AM DEVASTATED AND DISGUSTED. My car wouldn't crank because it needs a starter. If I put a starter on my car would go. BEcause they don't cover that on my plan but the other 3 they DO. I also need a water pump and timing belt. If I said anything about a transmission a month ago SAY OK FINE BUT I JUST SAID SOMETHING ABOUT A WATER PUMP.
NOW IT'S NOT FAIR TO BE DENIED ALL 3 SOOO.... In a total amount they took of my money was 471.00 oh and I have to pay diagnostic so that's 150.00 ==621.00 I personally would not recommend this company to anyone. They should send out your policy stated do not drive and so many mileage you allowed to go over supposedly I went over. I had 206.000. Now I have 210.000. A Toyota Camera sunroof. I love my car. Now I have to back track when I could've had someone to fix. Save me a lot of trouble. I will be canceling them. It pandemic. It's hard time. People do not have money just to throw away. This is underground scam and they need to be stopped. I'm out.... My god be with ya.

I had misplaced my contract and when I couldn't find my card my son called in for me. This was when we found out that there was no card and the representative said he would send out a copy of the contract immediately.
