I was able to get the exact coverage I wanted with little effort. The customer service person was knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely recommend Carshield to all of my friends and relatives. I feel more secure in the knowledge that I have good coverage for my automobile. Wish I would have taken advantage of this product a long time ago.

The service provider was very helpful, professional and friendly. I was very pleased with how helpful she was. It took her hardly any time to completely answer my question/concern. I had already paid for other service with the car dealer and didn't know how I going to pay for the starter cost.

Responded to your email regarding my credit card expiration date. Made update and took advantage of reduced premium payoff. Also learned that you do not cover component replacement for emergency bag deployment; therefore I will reduce my score for coverage.

Have a Master switch replaced for my windows. Call Car Shield, and they told me, it was no problem and took care of everything Right away. I paid my deductible, and everything was done right then and there at the car dealership. Thank you Car shield.

Sold my pickup, cancelled my CarShield contract and received the pro-rated refund promptly. Even though I was transferred a couple times, the last person was polite and professional. I feel CarShield is something to consider prior to factory warranty expiration.

I was lied to in regards to as what is covered. My water pump was the only thing covered and I still have not got a rental and because the water pump was the only thing covered. It cost 140 and I still got to pay a 200 dollar deductible. I want my money's worth. I feel ripped off by Car Shield not Vato’s garage. This is bull.

We do go over what is covered with you on the initial phone call and also send you the policy immediately preceding that call, to make sure you have time to go over the coverage before you incur a breakdown and need to use it. My experience was very positive. The agent collected my monthly payment because it needed to be. The bank account had been closed because it had been bought by another bank. As a result, I had to be notified in order for me to give you the new account number so that my account could be updated. The agent working with me was very good and my problem was solved.

Customer service is great, glad to have protection if needed. As cost of services and part are rising the cost of this coverage outweighs the cost of labor and parts. Just look at it as a safety net that will be there when needed.

I took my car in for the scheduled maintenance. The dealership found that additional work had to be done. The dealership checked to see if the work was covered by CarShield, There was a Prompt and immediate response by CarShield to the repair request.

Car Shield is a ripoff. Horrible customer service. They don't even want to try and help you. I am really sorry I chose Auto Shield. They stink really bad. My car is inoperable at this time. Please don't use Car Shield. They do not want to okay your warranty repairs.

Carshield offered me a $10 discount on my contract. Thank you, Mark **. Although I haven't used my coverage yet, the added security of knowing that any automotive repair will be taken care of eases my mind. Carshield should mail an ID CARD to its policy holders with all pertinent information.

When purchase my contract I didn't think about the letters with the numbers that was a mistake on my part, so when you purchase anything that requires you to speak your vin number make sure you recite a name or something with the letter because some letters sound like numbers. My Customer Service Rep was Luke, Luke was so polite, knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions and concerns. He answered all questions in a manner that put me at ease about CarShield. I have been waiting too long for the ok for repairs. This the longest warranty company I have been with take this long for the ok for repairs to be performed, tomorrow is Friday. 4 days in the shop. It will take them 3-5 days for the repairs and no word with no rental and I have two policies. What kind of company is this.

We have called a number of times to get the any kind of paperwork to care in the truck, I got the one for our car but as of yet nothing for the pickup. I am really not sure why it is taking so long and so many phone calls. If this is what you do about paperwork, what do you do about a claim?

Had problem with getting the tow truck. First one came at 10:30am..He jumped it then left..The truck stopped on the way to the garage..Then it took 4 and half hours to get another tow truck to get the my truck to the garage..

I took my car to Jail Automotive at 1636 Bladenburg Rd NE Washington, DC 20018 Where you recommended on Friday, November 5. They keep saying they could not find out what was keeping me from putting the car in gear. Since they could not find out what was wrong I picked up my car on Monday November 15 2021. I did not receive the work order papers when I picked my car up. There was no charge.

I sold my vehicle and asked to cancel service. I was happy the phone was answered quickly. After a short transfer I was sent to the cancellation department. After a short conversation, I was told a refund would be given and the cancelation was complete. Thank you!

I have Car Shield for about 6 months, thankfully haven't had to file a claim yet. I bought an older vehicle 88 dodge ram 50 pickup. Excellent condition. But because it's an older vehicle it was denied coverage due to its age. Just a shame they won't cover it just cause it's older. Engine in great shape, brakes, tires new, carburetor brand new and it's a stick 5 speed. Yet still won't cover it. Oh yeah still under 150,000 miles. DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Updated on 11/18/2021: Still waiting for approval. Matt the adjustor has not been the best to work with. Right now I am stuck with a bill of 2700 dollars. Money I do not have and the main reason I went with Car Shield. Working with a company far away doesn't lead to success for the customer.

My 2014 Ram developed a valve problem in the #8 cylinder and when my check engine light came on. It was diagnosed and was called by Car Shield to say they would cover it. The only problem I had they wouldn't cover the manifold torque bolts. I was a little disappointed at that because the mechanic has to remove those to get to the problem. Those bolts can only be torque once. But all in all a good experience.

We purchase a newer car and went to cancel our coverage on old car. Markesha talked and talked and would not Listen to us. We got upset because we knew we did not need it and were leaving to pick up the new car. She refused to listen to us. I took the phone from my wife and had to raise my voice to have her stop talking and to cancel our coverage. It was very upsetting because she would not stop running her mouth saying the same nonsense over and over again. Car Shield Customer service had been very good but this was terrible, enough not to ever renew again, as a customer. Want to put me on TV?

I’m just getting a little disturbed that you keep emailing me about the mileage on my car. The original miles at 38,011. Which can be approved by my sticker certificate each year. I asked her to stop sending me emails about the mileage. Other than that I’m fine with the service.

I had my 15 Ford Explorer Sport fix by the Ford dealer and had no issues with getting the control arms on both side and one of the tie rods fix, the navigation system fix. I was glad that we had Carshield to cover the expenses otherwise we would had to pay 1691.00 out of pocket and we only pay 691. We had to pay to get the car front end alignment, for the dealer to reprogram the navigation system.

The inspection of the car took longer and it a 24-48 hour turnaround on everything. Done too long so I was without a car for 14 day and then the shop told me parts not over and are so I pulled my car from them and I’ll take it elsewhere.

I had them for over a year and never once filed a claim. Called and canceled my policy a week ago after finding out no one in my area accepts them. Checked the bank 2 hours later and saw where they had taken the monthly payment. Called back and was told it would be refunded in 3-5 business days. Called back today and was told I wouldn't be getting a refund because I didn't give them 24 hours notice. A supervisor made this decision without speaking to anyone. So now I am out that money apparently. Don't waste your time on this sham company.

Someone at American Auto told me and the repair shop that the part an alternator was covered and 2.8 hours of labor was covered and I the customer would be responsible for the other labor. Hours at no point did he inform me to wait for a order number nor did they mention it to repair shop. If he knew at the end of our conversation he I feel had an obligation to tell me to wait for the order number and he did not and American Auto should have given me the benefit of the doubt because they told me and auto repair shop verbally everything was covered except the 2 hours. To stand on section d is unreasonable and unfair given the circumstances.

Extremely excellent!! The agent that I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, happy, did just about everything that I had asked for and then some! I would recommend Car Shield to anybody. I think the rate is incredible. My wife and I have a car that is incredible. It is a 2018 Rogue. And exceptional condition. She drives .6 MI one way to work so since she comes home for lunch she drives 2.4 miles per day. 12 MI a week back and forth to work. Since all the restaurants and any kind of shopping we need is within 3 miles we don't have to go too far. I believe our car will last us pretty much forever. As I would hope Car Shield will be there forever for us!

Evil people that go out of their way to scam senior citizens. Refused to pay for a repair that they admitted was covered by making the requirements impossible to meet. Great review and helper associate. I even got reimbursed for the TOW! Fuse Box not covered? Fuel Pump covered but Fuel Pump Bracket not covered. Fuel level Sensor not covered. Total bill was $1,629.55. I paid $1,108.44 and CarShield paid $521.11. Only 32% was covered. I paid 66% of bill. I may need a better plan. What do you offer that covers at least 50%?

I haven't had nothing but excellent experience with Carshield. When my car had a problem and I call them to let them know, they do a claim right then and ask if I need them to toll it to the repair shop that I use. Since I been with them this year. I have filed two claims. They have put in a Transmission and and some other repairs.

I call to cancel a policy I had purchased on another vehicle that I traded in. I was able to transfer my service to my new vehicle which was very helpful. The rep was very helpful with this process. AC compressor - My claim was made on October 22nd, I was told it would take a day for delivery. The Ford dealership that was holding my car for repairs did not receive the part until seven days later so it was an inconvenience to be without my vehicle for a whole working week with no loaner vehicle. Not to mention the numerous calls I had to make to follow up on the location of my port. Due to some miscommunication with your third-party auto parts supplier not knowing the correct address to deliver the part. The one good thing I can say is I appreciate the reasonable price for the parts.

Recently I cancelled my Carshield coverage as part of a reorganization of my personal finances. This cancellation is purely for financial reasons and is no reflection on the company or my recent policy. I understand expenses due to recent repairs to my vehicle were not covered by my policy. Wait time on repairs done. The dealer in my area have issues with the wait time on payments. The last time that my truck was in the shop it took three months. The dealer stated that they prefer not to deal with CarShield because of the hold up. That was my only problem. Being without my truck for three months.

Accessing the benefits was relatively easy and customer service was great. I was surprised by the $100.00 deductible. It could be I overlooked the “fine print”, but I don’t remember being told about a deductible. I’ve reduced the monthly cost a couple of times and still consider it a somewhat pricey “insurance”, but I may feel differently if I ever have a MAJOR repair need.

I bought the Car Shield Premium package for $129.99 a month. After 16 months, my check engine light came on on my dash. I took my SUV into the Chevy Dealership and found that the timing chain needed to be replaced. Car Shield required that I show them all of my past maintenance records including oil changes. The Chevy dealership showed the records. Three (3) weeks later the Car Shield Tech denied my claim saying that I had driven my SUV for 9,000 miles since the timing chain issue first showed up. I had no idea that the timing chain was broken because the engine light did not show on my dash.
I had already paid Car Shield $2,079.84 in monthly payments. The S.S. Tech had the Dealership remove more engine panels. The Chevy Dealer told me that Chevy did not know how the C.S. Tech could prove that the Chain had broken 9,000 miles earlier. I did not rent a car. I did not have my SUV towed. I just drove it into the Chevy Dealership the first time that the Check Engine light showed up on my dash. It then cost me $3,088.00 to put the engine back in order.

We did review the claim and the inspection report stated that the freeze frame data on your vehicle showed codes concerning a timing issue to have been active for over 9,000 miles. Needed expensive power steering repair. MECHANIC's bad experience w/ you, so didn't want to deal with you. So I paid, then was intimated to try to request payment. It cost over $1,000. A past repair over $2,000 wasn't covered. Feel stupid that I pay for something I don't understand and haven't been able to use.

I had to take my car to the dealer to have the electric box done for the windows they fixed it with no problems. I've had several repairs made with no problems except I can never get a rental for the time my car is being repaired.

If the repair is only verified for less than 4 hours worth of labor, no rental car would be provided. Anything more than 4 hours may be eligible for rental depending on the total number of hours. I don't have a claim currently. All I need is the booklet explaining my purchase of warranty on a 2014 Hyundai Sonata, and how I should proceed to do this. I have felt a lot more secure having purchased a CarShield warranty on both vehicles that I own.

I am giving Car Shield a 1 star per my current experience and stress over waiting so long to get any results from Car Shield. I have done my part by sending maintenance document over (requested 3 days after claim started) and then answered additional questions (day 8) and then called to inquire about getting in touch with dealer, then told they wanted photos of vehicle (on day 9); asked about help with a backup vehicle, declined per they have not accepted my claim; per dealership they are not returning their calls and no adjustor has came by to inspect my vehicle to make a decision. I am becoming stressed and it is truly taking a toll on my personal life by not getting any results from car shield by this time. And my payment have been on time since start of the contract, including this month.

Good phone service for customers. Very helpful on the phone. My only problems are that my car is so old that it does not justify spending money on it at this point. I am better off to trade the car in and purchase a newer car. It doesn't justify paying out monthly payments for car when I could be paying that money on a newer vehicle with less mileage and a warranty on it already.

I had coverage for my 2012 F150. I now just got a 2015 F150. I just made a payment on the 18th and had to make another one today. Current upgrade seems like I had to pay it twice for just about the same amount of coverage tiny bit better. And then 500 miles before I can use it. Doesn't really seem right

We purchased the Platinum coverage for our 2008 Land Rover. Took it in for a what we thought was a wiring problem, however, there was an issue with a valve cover gasket. And to our surprise, Carshield will not cover. We had trouble finding a mechanic who would even take Carshield, because we were told they are very slow at paying. And garages don't want to hassle with them. However, we did find someone finally. The owner of the shop has been very helpful, Carshield did not believe that all the repairs they listed were necessary, so they sent out an inspector. The inspector said they were necessary and after being without a car for a week, because Carshield would not respond quickly, Carshield now says they will not cover the labor or valve cover gasket. Labor and part is over $1,200. So basically, they will decide if they will cover or not. So not only am I out the cost of the monthly warranty, I am going to be out $1,200. Thanks for nothing Carshield.

Taking paperwork in on a Monday. PDQ talk to them. See if they will get back with them in 24 hours. Never responded. Took the car back on Friday. PDQ still had not heard anything from CarShield. Plus they were waiting for other cars to be repaired through CarShield and not getting a response. The company is phony. It does not stand up to their word. I am very dissatisfied.

In the beginning l had to call several times to correct my vehicle's information on the Volvo. After the last call I expected the printed contracts to arrive to my home via mail. I only received the volvo contract. Called about a week ago to get printed contracts for all autos. Waiting on the 2000 SLK230 Mercedes contract and for 2007 Ford Explorer Sports Trac printed contract. If l don't get the contracts by Monday, I will call again to request these items again. I have not had to use the services yet but l hope that the communication and the transaction are smoother than the startup of getting my contracts.
We do apologize for the wait, however we show that you requested these copies by mail on the 18th of October, and we were able to print them and mail them out on the 19th. It can take up to two weeks to receive these, so please keep your eye on the mail.
