The vehicle that I had before ended up with unusually high and expensive repair that we hadn't planned on in its life so when we bought another vehicle I thought it was better to get some type of mechanical coverage. At the time I was buying the vehicle, I got a random email from Carchex and checked them out. The gentleman I spoke to was knowledgeable about his product and straightforward in the numbers that he gave me so I had no objections to him in any way. I'd recommend it to a friend.

I got an extended coverage for my vehicle from Carchex when my old one went out. They were recommended to me by a friend and I had a good experience purchasing their plan. The Carchex protection specialist was friendly and he thoroughly assisted me by explaining the coverage. I would recommend Carchex.

My warranty has recently expired and the dealer's option came to be more expensive. When I decided to purchase from CARCHEX, the rep that was assigned to me was very supportive, explained what he's going to do and wasn't intrusive at all, unlike some of the other places I talked to that seem to want an answer right then. I had a vehicle which I let the warranty go. I was going to keep the car but some things happened. I called Mr. ** from Carchex to see if I can pick up the warranty on it and found out that I could. He was great and very informative. He always checked with me and called me back. There's nothing bad that I can say about him. I haven't had to utilize the coverage but as far as the customer service goes, I definitely recommend Carchex.

After 7 months my Honda Civic started making a rattle at startup. I took it to 3 different mechanic (most people don't accept Carchex) turns out the timing chain was stretched and needed to be tightened. The vehicle also needs valves and seals since it is burning a little oil... They do not cover valves and seals because it is a wear item. They will not cover the timing chain or anything related to oil loss. (This contradicts the terms and condition that they cover all lubricated parts.) I paid 6 months of warranty and got nothing. They will say anything to deny your claim. All the hassle... and all taxis and car rentals came out of my pocket. Don't waste your money!!

The lady from CARCHEX whom I bought the warranty from did a very good job on talking to me about everything. The purchasing process was good. Currently, I'm just paying for the service because I haven't had any warranty work done.

I recently purchased warranty from CARCHEX and so far, it's been very good. The sales representative was very informative, detailed and professional. They made sure you know what you're getting into when you're buying the plan. I was very aware that I could cancel at any time within a 30 or 60-day period. I would recommend them. They have a real good underwriting company, insurance company that provides the goods, services and products behind CARCHEX. There's a bigger company behind them and I've found out they were rated very well in Wall Street.

CARCHEX kept calling me back even after I said I was talking to other people and getting other questions. They were on the spot and were willing to work with me that's why I chose them. I had a lot of questions and the specialist was very patient and answered everyone of them. If he didn't know the answer, he'd tell me to hang on and he'd look it up and he sure enough did so it was good.

I thought I need to pay one time 106.87 and it cover for 7 years but I am not clear. Thought it takes 106.88. I need to get back my money. I don't want to extended my factory warranty because I had a financial problem. Thought it is very good to have and I liked the services but I am not clear that I need to pay 106.88 every month for 24 months. So I don't want to be register for extended. I received a call from Rodger ** a day after asking for quote thru their website. He began by asking me questions to help him narrow down what kind of warranty I needed for my car. He finally sent me 3 quotes which varied in prices. From the very first time I spoke to him he told me that I was not obligated to any of these quotes and my whole experience will be hassle free. Well I kept in contact with Rodger thru email asking him different questions almost every day for almost 2 weeks. He answered all my questions and not once he pushed me to buy his product. Also what made it easy for me was that Rodger stayed true to his word and made this extended warranty shopping hassle free.

I got a letter saying that I needed to contact Carchex immediately for additional coverage. In the past, I either had an engine go on me within the first three months or towards the end of the year, like after two years of me almost paying the vehicle off, my transmission went out. I started reading onto the letter and realized that having additional coverage might help repair with my transmission and stuff so I looked into it to see how much it would cost. What pushed me over the edge on it was the fact that I could do it on a monthly basis. If the cars turns out to be something that I absolutely don’t want, then I can just cancel it at that point in time since I wouldn’t want to be spending on something that I don’t need. Carchex did a good job in general. The salesperson I usually deal with and the sales process of Carchex have been good too. Everybody has been polite and they answered my questions. I was trying one time to get somebody to go over and do an estimate or a checkup on a car, but I had a lot of trouble with that and I could never get that established. Even so, I’ve had good experiences with them and they’ve been very fair. My bank account didn’t have the money to take out the payment, but they still worked with me. I had an $8,000 claim that they paid or tried to pay right away on my 2005 BMW to replace the drive shaft. Thank God I had the policy because if I didn’t have it, I probably wouldn’t be driving that car today.

I plan to stay a little bit longer with my car, but I don't want to spend about $600 or $700 to repair a transmission or change it. With the extended warranty, I can take it to the Ford dealer and they check it out with no charge. If they charge me, it would be less than what I would be paying outside. I never had an insurance but now that I have Carchex, I'm satisfied with it. They assisted me outright when I was purchasing the warranty. The attention was good and they answered my request real quick. Everything was good.

I got it last week from CARCHEX and I was thoroughly assisted by their protection specialist. The warranty provides everything but the muffler and a tune-up. It was a little pricey, but it's worth it.

My car has 126,000 on it. If anything major went wrong, I want it covered so I got an extended coverage for it. However, my car has a manual transmission, and reading the policy, it only covers automatic. I’ve asked twice to get cancelation emailed to me and that hasn’t happened yet. It cost me $117 for nothing. I wouldn’t recommend CARCHEX to anybody.

I had a problem about six years ago with a 2007 Dodge Ram and I did not have extended warranty. Then Carchex came and I wanted to get it and experience it. I heard other people try it but I haven't looked into the actual policy and how the coverage works. My mechanic said he had a bad experience with Carchex as far as time, what was and wasn't covered, and parts they wanted to pay for and not pay for. I've only had my policy for 20 days so I'll have to see if something goes wrong down the road. It was time for my manufacturing warranty to expire and Carchex had sent me a letter. They had good rates and I liked what they had to offer. Also, I researched about them and they got 4 or 5 stars and I knew someone that had dealt with them in the past and gave them a good score and high rate. When I spoke with their specialists, they were very helpful. They explained everything to me what was covered and not, what I needed to do and where I could take it to to get repaired. Everything went well and I'm very satisfied with them.

Because my vehicle didn't come with an extended coverage and I want the security of having it, I decided to get one. I went with Carchex because it had a good rating with the Better Business Bureau and ConsumerAffairs. It's very valuable having a protection plan and it’s comforting knowing that it’s there just in case.

My one coverage is about to run out and I didn't quite like the car coverage by the Nissan people. Their dealer's warranty was all right but I was trying to acquire some insurance. I hooked up with the CARCHEX people and compared the coverage of both Nissan and CARCHEX, and CARCHEX's warranty was a little better, so I got an extended coverage for my vehicle from them. My actual purchasing experience with CARCHEX was nice. I did it on the phone. The rep was nice. She was pacing with me and I liked that.

My contact at your institution has not returned my calls in over 3 weeks, I have not received my contract in the mail, and when I filed a claim, they are not honoring the inspector's report. This is one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with and you will be hearing from my lawyer for this sham of a business you are running. I have called on multiple occasions to Stanley **, ext ** and he has not been returning my calls. When he wanted my business he chased me down, practically hounded me with phone calls and emails, now that you have received my business, this is the level of service I get? Like I said, my lawyer will be contacting you.

I had coverage on my jeep and it was good so I got CARCHEX. Everything was good in my interactions with the protection specialist. She was nice and explained everything well. It feels good having a protection plan because it won't cost me so much if anything should happen to the car.

I was shopping around for a while but he was alright and he was very formal and real about the whole situation. He told me what way I was servicing me with, what kind of claims would affect this. All the questions I had, he helped me with very well and explained to me. The main one I had was the maintenance fee because it's very expensive on a BMW X6. There was only one thing I wished would have been good with them-- the free maintenance, but there's none. Having a vehicle protection plan is very valuable, especially when you have an expensive luxury car.

In case something happens to my car, it would be covered under Carchex's extended warranty and I would have some protection. I thought it was a good deal and the purchase wasn't difficult. Overall, I'm somewhat satisfied them. One thing that I noticed though is there's nobody in this area that will tow my car in case something happens so I'm a little concerned about that.

Back in July I had a paper in the mail and it said something about vehicle warranty and so I decided to call them back and tell them to leave the warranty since it's a day late and it's probably already cancelled. But the representative said to go ahead, get it and start paying $108 a month. However, I don't know how it works. I hope I get more help from them to tell me how to use it, then I'll go from there. Once I know how to use it, I might be interested in keeping it.

All I had to do at sign up was mostly give my Vin number and mileage. Customer service was wonderful. I am just waiting for my packet to come in the mail.

I have a vehicle that the warranty is going to be expiring soon. It is still under 40,000 miles and it’s in great condition but I want to get some extra coverage to make sure if something goes wrong in the future I got the right coverage for it. The Carchex people were very professional but I didn't need the warranty as I’m still paying on my car and they had extended my warranty to two more years and I wasn't aware of this. I got a notice in the mail that the warranty on my car may have expired and was led into getting one. So I took the chance and signed up and found out later that I had an extended warranty. They canceled it for me and I was very pleased. They took care of the business for me. They're excellent.
