I wanted peace of mind so I purchased an extended coverage for my car. The protection specialist from CARCHEX was professional.

I'm fine with my experience with CARCHEX. But, they need to send me an all new packet because they sent out one with the wrong name. My name is not Gorria. It's Corrina. It's C-O-R-R-I-N-A, not G-O-R-R-I-A. I have called twice about this and emailed, and it's still not fixed. I can't get them to put the right name on the paperwork.

I had an excellent experience with Carchex. I bought another car after my last vehicle was totaled and wanted to make sure I had a warranty on it as I don't want to be stuck with any big car repair bills. I looked on the computer and around ConsumerAffairs where Carchex was listed as number one. I also asked the gas station I always go to and he said, "Well, if it's a wear and tear, then it's definitely good".

The auto warranty from the car place had ran out so looked into getting another. CARCHEX's extended auto warranty sounded good and they were really nice. I would have done it but my husband had already paid for another auto warranty. I had called two people (one of which is CARCHEX) and mailed some money to both, and now I'm trying to cancel CARCHEX. My husband had been calling them all but nobody answered or returned his call. But I will recommend them to someone else.

My current car is a 2006 Honda Odyssey. So I had 84,000 miles. It's got more mileage, it runs great, still in good shape, it's paid for. We enjoy riding it so we wanted to make sure that we're covered for anything that may be coming up to extend the life and minimize the downside if something does come up. The protection specialist didn't apply a lot of pressure the typical sales tactics. I contacted another group to try and get insurance and that did not work out very well. They throw themselves out of a client just by their tactics. They're trying to drive me to make me feel so appreciative to buy their product. But with CARCHEX, they weren't like that. They're willing to give me a quote, send me an email, let me think about it overnight, talk to my wife, get back in-touch with them. It was a very pleasant experience.
