My current coverage expired. I spoke with a young man, he was very thorough, very friendly and in no time I had the coverage that I needed. Their protection specialist gave me options that I could get for a lesser amount because I did let them know that my budget wouldn't allow for anything greater than what I got, and he was very helpful in getting that set up for me. I had a wonderful experience with CARCHEX. I got all the information I needed to get, paid my money, and that's as far as I got.

I wanted to have coverage in case something happened to the car and Carchex price was reasonable. The protection specialist was nice and helped me understand everything. It was a good experience and I recommend this company.

I used to have an Audi and I wasn't able to repair it like I wanted to. So this time, when I purchased a new car, I invested in a warranty. I got it last week from CARCHEX and I was thoroughly assisted by their protection specialist. The warranty provides everything but the muffler and a tune-up. It was a little pricey, but it's worth it.

My car has 126,000 on it. If anything major went wrong, I want it covered so I got an extended coverage for it. However, my car has a manual transmission, and reading the policy, it only covers automatic. I’ve asked twice to get cancelation emailed to me and that hasn’t happened yet. It cost me $117 for nothing. I wouldn’t recommend CARCHEX to anybody.

One will never know - transmission alone is over $3,000 and I could not afford to pay for a new transmission or engine. I might as well buy another car.

I've had a bad experience with Carchex. I paid my extended warranty once and I haven't heard from them since - no invoices and information. I'm very dissatisfied.

My experience was fine. I previously had a Carchex warranty on another vehicle so I knew what to expect this second time around. When someone is a single woman and does a lot of traveling on the road, a vehicle protection plan is very valuable.

Thinking that if something happens to my car it wouldn't have to come out of my pocket was the reason I signed up with CARCHEX. But I cancelled it as it's a lot of money paying out every month. I can put $100 away every month and still have the same amount of money if something happened to the car. And I'm a very good driver and take care of my car. It's not necessary for me to have it right now especially that I'm paying 13 bills a month. Until I get everything by next year, I'll call them up. Besides, the representative whom I interacted with was very nice and did a wonderful job. And I still got her number.

Purchasing a vehicle plan from Carchex was okay, it was simple, but we didn’t like the way they want to do the payment - auto draft. I’m used to paying my own stuff and not letting them take it out. However, I still went on and did it. Having this vehicle protection plan is very valuable to us.

It's better to have that extended insurance and ensure that I don't have to worry if something would happen in my car because sometimes I'm not prepared for it. I don’t want to spend out of pocket. It was time for my manufacturing warranty to expire and Carchex had sent me a letter. They had good rates and I liked what they had to offer. Also, I researched about them and they got 4 or 5 stars and I knew someone that had dealt with them in the past and gave them a good score and high rate. When I spoke with their specialists, they were very helpful. They explained everything to me what was covered and not, what I needed to do and where I could take it to to get repaired. Everything went well and I'm very satisfied with them.

Because my vehicle didn't come with an extended coverage and I want the security of having it, I decided to get one. I went with Carchex because it had a good rating with the Better Business Bureau and ConsumerAffairs. It's very valuable having a protection plan and it’s comforting knowing that it’s there just in case.

My one coverage is about to run out and I didn't quite like the car coverage by the Nissan people. Their dealer's warranty was all right but I was trying to acquire some insurance. I hooked up with the CARCHEX people and compared the coverage of both Nissan and CARCHEX, and CARCHEX's warranty was a little better, so I got an extended coverage for my vehicle from them. My actual purchasing experience with CARCHEX was nice. I did it on the phone. The rep was nice. She was pacing with me and I liked that.

My contact at your institution has not returned my calls in over 3 weeks, I have not received my contract in the mail, and when I filed a claim, they are not honoring the inspector's report. This is one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with and you will be hearing from my lawyer for this sham of a business you are running. I have called on multiple occasions to Stanley **, ext ** and he has not been returning my calls. When he wanted my business he chased me down, practically hounded me with phone calls and emails, now that you have received my business, this is the level of service I get? Like I said, my lawyer will be contacting you.

I had coverage on my jeep and it was good so I got CARCHEX. Everything was good in my interactions with the protection specialist. She was nice and explained everything well. It feels good having a protection plan because it won't cost me so much if anything should happen to the car.

I was shopping around for a while but he was alright and he was very formal and real about the whole situation. He told me what way I was servicing me with, what kind of claims would affect this. All the questions I had, he helped me with very well and explained to me. The main one I had was the maintenance fee because it's very expensive on a BMW X6. There was only one thing I wished would have been good with them-- the free maintenance, but there's none. Having a vehicle protection plan is very valuable, especially when you have an expensive luxury car.

In case something happens to my car, it would be covered under Carchex's extended warranty and I would have some protection. I thought it was a good deal and the purchase wasn't difficult. Overall, I'm somewhat satisfied them. One thing that I noticed though is there's nobody in this area that will tow my car in case something happens so I'm a little concerned about that.

Back in July I had a paper in the mail and it said something about vehicle warranty and so I decided to call them back and tell them to leave the warranty since it's a day late and it's probably already cancelled. But the representative said to go ahead, get it and start paying $108 a month. However, I don't know how it works. I hope I get more help from them to tell me how to use it, then I'll go from there. Once I know how to use it, I might be interested in keeping it.

All I had to do at sign up was mostly give my Vin number and mileage. Customer service was wonderful. I am just waiting for my packet to come in the mail.

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a knowledgeable, professional and personable person on the other end of the phone. Excellent customer service is dead in America with the exception of a very few places. My salesman, Ira ** answered my questions before I asked them. He was amazing! I learned more about my car from Carchex than from the dealer that sold the car to me. If the policy is as good as the salesperson I will continue to feel good about my decision to sign with Carchex!

I have a vehicle that the warranty is going to be expiring soon. It is still under 40,000 miles and it’s in great condition but I want to get some extra coverage to make sure if something goes wrong in the future I got the right coverage for it. I purchased from CARCHEX an extended coverage and they're fine but I have yet to use them for the services concern but the information was good. The protection specialist was very informative. He explained to me the steps in initiating the warranty and the 1 month score of the mile rate plus he asked if I don’t live too far from the court system so it’s convenient. I’ve also had another stranger and we were discussing the car and I recommended CARCHEX.

The customer service representative was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and seemed to genuinely care to take the time and give me the best cost on the coverage I needed. Value was my primary concern and the CSR looked at several options and allowed me to make an informed decision on what type of coverage would best suit my situation. Cost was very competitive and there was several time periods that I was able to choose from. Having recently purchased a low mileage used vehicle I was still able to get coverage whereas other companies do not offer coverage on used vehicles. Overall buying experience was A+.

The way the vehicle protection plan was explained to me was very easy to understand. I didn't know it was available until I've talked with their representative. He explained a lot of things to me. I don't know how I got along without it this long. I should've had it before now because I didn't realize it was that important. The Carchex people were very professional but I didn't need the warranty as I’m still paying on my car and they had extended my warranty to two more years and I wasn't aware of this. I got a notice in the mail that the warranty on my car may have expired and was led into getting one. So I took the chance and signed up and found out later that I had an extended warranty. They canceled it for me and I was very pleased. They took care of the business for me. They're excellent.

Purchasing the plan over the phone was easy. I haven't used it yet, but I find it a bit overpriced as compared to what is being offered by other companies. I have to pay $100 deductible whenever I get some work done on my car, whereas some companies only have a $50 deductible while others don't require a deductible at all.

I just had CARCHEX the other day but I don't know if I'm going to keep it or not because there's nothing wrong with my car and thank God for that. Nothing's pending with it either but they tell me I got to wait either 90 days or 200 miles or 30 days and 1,000 miles. Round trip going to work is three miles. I could even walk to work. I gave a little bit more money down which brought my payment down a little bit. But I'm still going to pay for three months which is the only part that I don't like.

Purchasing from Carchex was all right, I'd recommend them. However, I’m more concerned about them fixing my car when something goes wrong because I had another insurance and they weren’t good at all. And the sad part, I had been with that company for almost nine years. I was just on the computer one day and I saw Carchex and I thought, “No, you might as well don’t even worry about that anymore because they’re probably all the same.” So I didn’t do it that day. Then I told my nephew I was thinking about it. He said, “Well, you really don’t need to do it. You never hardly put it in the shop. You’re just throwing your money away.” He says, “When you do put it, they don’t wanna fix. They don’t wanna…” So I said, “Yeah.”

I've been using Carchex for the past four years and I just renewed with them. They called me, told me that my warranty expired and if I want to extend it. They're good.

I got my extended coverage through Carfax's endorsement and CARCHEX hit what I basically was looking for. They're great. Their protection specialist could answer all the questions that I had. If she didn't know the answer, she politely put me on-hold for a brief moment then she came back and shared the information with me. My only issue is when I called CARCHEX twice and I was on-hold for so long that I ended up hanging up the whole time. I only wanted to know more about the warranty, when the actual warranty went into effect and if I needed to take it somewhere.

She was very helpful, and I think I gave her a bit of a hard time because I had some protection from somewhere else. Evidently, I didn't read the small print and was really shocked because I could only get the road service once a year. I explained it to our protection specialist, and she was nice about it.

I decided to cancel within 30 day period and requested a refund. It's been almost 3 months and I still have not received my refund.

I bought it at the Excalibur over here in the Tri-Cities and after I bought it, they told me that there was no warranty on it. It matters organically because you have to have a technician working on the electronic equipment in these new cars nowadays. So, I got an extended coverage from CARCHEX and I'm very satisfied so far.
