    This company has been a nightmare!!! First I was told lifters was not a lubricated part of an engine!!! Once they figured out it was they now are still doing everything they can to deny me by telling me I had to provide EVERYTHING I have had done to my car since I purchased my car which was 2014. Once I explained that I only had to provide proof from the date of purchase of my Warranty I sent them in by fax on Monday. It's 3 days later and now I'm told they want the shop to open my engine and if they deny it I'm stuck with that bill, my rental car and I have missed work due to the fact I'm waiting on them to actually do their job.

    When I called them crying and explained to them I'm a single working mom of 3 teens and couldn't lose my job, house and car Terry the manager told me that was my problem!!! I have been lied to over and over again by this company. This is the worst experience I've had with a warranty company!!! What kind of company leaves their customers with bill after bill and still not have a running vehicle??? I have followed all their rules, jumped through hoops and still haven't heard anything from them. I'm in tears!!! Please don't use this company. Take the money you would give them every month and put it in a saving account. That way when you have an issue you can just go to the bank and get it fixed yourself. Save yourself the headache of dealing with Carchex.

    I realized my Warranty had expired when I started receiving offers from companies that offer extended warranties. I realized that I will be keeping my present car (5 years old, with 63,000 miles) for another 5 years minimum, so I started researching extended car warranties online using Google search. The search revealed two companies that were both 5 star rated. After speaking with both companies I went with Carchex. They were by far the most informative, the most relaxed, and the most helpful. I must have spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with James ** (Carchex), and because of the time, the approach, and what the policy offered, I felt very positive about purchasing a service policy with Carchex for 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. Because of James **, Carchex's 5 star rating and the ability to use the policy at any car repair in the U.S., with 24-hour help, plus towing, I just could not pass it up.

    With a month left under warranty my truck suffered engine damage due to a failed injector and they will not cover the repairs. I completely understand injectors are not covered by my policy but the motor is; the issue is under exclusions in my policy there is nothing about if an uncovered part causes damage the covered part will be excluded. There are plenty of exclusions in there, lack of coolant (busted heater or radiator hose, etc), failure to maintain the vehicle etc but that is simply not in the wording of my contract. I feel like the engine should be covered but anything else outside of that should be my responsibility such as replacing the injector(s), plug, coil, or cat converter if it burned up etc. They need to recognize the wording in my contract and replace the engine or show me the exact wording under exclusions that does not allow for this.

    The newer contracts on their website are pretty clear, engine failure will only be covered if due to failure of internally lubricated part. My contract is almost 5 years old and does not contain that wording. I have been without a vehicle for two weeks because of this company. People would be better off putting $2500 in their own vehicle maintenance account than buying a contract through them because the odds of something major happening that falls within their guidelines is like winning the lottery. Even worse, something like mine that does fall within the contract wording but they still won't pay. Even the Ford dealership service department said this was the worst aftermarket company they had ever tried to work with.

    Carchex is a terrible company and will rob you blind. They charged me $4,000 for a warranty on my BMW and when my turbos went out, they would only pay for me to replace them with junk yard parts, and would only pay domestic labor rates. I drive a BMW and they want to only pay what labor on a Honda or Ford is. When I Called they were not helpful at all, and actually rude. Don't waste your time or money. This place is a scam.

    I purchased the Warranty in June 2016 and filed a claim per the Dealer commendation, in November to be denied. I've paid 1,055.68 and requested to cancel this service with a refund and was told my refund would be 210.06 after deductions and it would take 45 days to process. This is one of the biggest scams I've been involved in. They would not cover any of the repairs and would not give an explanation. The sentinel plan is a rip off along with Carchex.

    I guess if you are looking for catastrophic insurance, this may be a good bet. However, in my case, I take my car to a very reputable dealer (in business since 1968) whom I trust. When I take it in for minor repairs that appear to me to be clearly covered by the warranty, CARCHEX continually refuses to pay standard dealer labor rates and insists that if they can find the part cheaper, that's what they'll pay for the part. That can be an off-beat part manufactured in who-knows-where, a reconditioned part or a part that they found on EBAY. Their determination of what is "normal maintenance" (which they won't pay for) and whether they will pay for a repair covered by the warranty is always up to them and, believe me, they come down on their side every time with a decision. These people know how to play the insurance game better than you or I so, be sure you know what you are buying!

    DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WARRANTY. Just found out they do not cover a Valve Seal Leak because of this exclusion found in the last sentence of exclusion #5 on all their contracts, "...ANY REPAIR WHEN THE SOLE PURPOSE IS TO RAISE THE VEHICLES ENGINE COMPRESSION OR TO STOP EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION". Mind you I have their most comprehensive coverage. However this exclusion can be applied to any cause resulting in burning oil. In addition, the parts cost they cover is below the price I would pay at a part store. You will be sorry if you purchase a warrant from CARCHEX!

    The one thing that always gets me is when a salesman is cocky but not cocky. They’re very thorough, competent and know they could answer any question I got and the guy from Carchex rep did. I was also very impressed with the price. Those other places want at least $250 upfront and $300 a month but not Carchex. The product pretty much sold itself and I just bought an extended warranty a few days ago. It’s for a V6 that we’ve done some work on. Considering that the car is going to my 16-year old daughter in seven months, having the vehicle protection plan is very valuable since we don't know what's going to happen.

    I bought a 2011 car and its mileage is very low. I realized that because it’s a little bit older and I don’t have tons of money tucked away in a savings account for repairs, I thought its best to go ahead and get a warranty. I originally went with Warranty Direct because the price was about $50 to $60 cheaper and the coverage potentially was the same.

    Then CARCHEX called me on Monday, the 31st, and I spoke with Will who was phenomenal and he said that he can price match what I'm paying and I've to send him my contract because he has to go to his GM and get approval for it. I did and he called me back and said that there was something in the exclusions in the Warranty Direct contract that he was sure I did not understand. So we went over it on the computer and he told me that none of the technical specialty bulletins which were 26th on my car were covered. I understood then that the special bulletins meant that anything that was covered in them would not be covered in the warranty. I switched to CARCHEX and it was a relatively easy process.

    I purchased that warranty from Carchex. After 2 months the check engine light went on then I went to the certified Acura dealer. They diagnosed the car and found internal transmission problem that needs to be replaced the transmission. The dealer called the Carchex and they said it is covered but they have to send their own inspector. He came and checked the car and turned the check engine light off and disputed the claim saying the dealership denied to let him use their tools. When I talked to the dealership they said this never happened. When I called the Carchex they said the dealer trying to make money and they will not pay for the part that supposed to be covered by the contract. So do not waste your time and money.

    Be prepared to pay for a portion of the Parts for your repairs. They will NOT cover the full cost of parts. They do cover the labor - but I would expect that. They will search online for After Market parts and will only cover the costs of what they find online at the time... It could be a part on eBay. I had to have struts and strut suspension replaced, they only covered half the costs of the parts. This work requires an alignment. They won't cover any of that. If you're looking for a warranty to cover the labor for your repairs and half the costs of your parts, then this company is for you. If you expect the full costs of your parts and labor covered (like most warranty companies do), then you need to stay away from Carchex!

    I'm a returning CARCHEX customer. They have a good product, good price, and rate is real, real good. I checked with my dealership and they recommended them. Having a vehicle protection plan is valuable as it helps with the expenses. Everybody at CARCHEX has been great but it’s real hard ever getting through to anybody on the phone. They need to up their customer service as far as answering the phones. I called several times to try to get coverage. I needed to cancel coverage because I sold the vehicle and I wanted to add another vehicle. It took me almost a week to get through. I had hold times in excess of an hour and I’ve sent several emails. I finally got their customer service manager's email and I sent there. Then I got a phone call the next morning.

He answered all questions and covered any concerns that we would have in regards to purchasing an extended warranty. All of my research shows that CarChex is a solid company with ample net worth and that is what you want when purchasing an extended warranty. There are too many companies that promise a great plan, take your money and then go out of business. CarChex is not one of those companies.     I was initially a little skeptical about this extended warranty company. I have seen several scam companies offering extend warranty and back out when your car breaks down. I'm an automotive engineer and take pretty good care of my cars but still you never know when things start to fail. Had a 8 yr old BMW with very very low miles and I decided to try out CarChex for extended warranty. I had a colleague who gave me a good feedback on carchex based on his experience with his BMW. Ken from carchex helped me out with the initial quote, it was a little expensive compared to the BMW extended warranty but did cover few more things that BMW did not cover on their package.

    After couple months I had a DSC light ON and had to take it to the dealer and the dealer directly worked with carchex's warranty group to get it fixed. I just had to pay the deductible and everything was taken care of without any issues. Great service and highly recommend it. Be sure to read the terms and conditions on the extended warranty before you sign up. If you have done any modifications to your original car the warranty does not cover your car repairs and also you have to follow the maintenance schedule on your car to meet your warranty conditions.

The only review I saw related to the pay out on claims was a very disappointed customer who had tried to have repairs done and was denied.     It's very valuable to have a vehicle protection plan. I got mine from CARCHEX and purchasing from them was very easy and it was done right away. DJ, a CARCHEX agent was the one who persuaded me into buying their vehicle protection plan. He kept on calling and giving me all the things that they would do. He explained everything well and we had good conversations. I also like that fact that when he called and I told him it's not a good time, he'd asked me when the best time will be and he'd call me back two days or a week later.     I have a Mini and the repairs are expensive. A brake job is $1800 whereas I can get brakes done for a regular car for $400. Also, I’m paying mechanics at the dealership $185 an hour versus the local guy that charges me $50. Having a higher end car, you have to have a higher end shop do the work because of all the electronics, specialized parts, and the way the sensors are.     This is only the second review I've ever written and I have to say, Carchex has earned an awesome review. Its not often you go from a one to a five, but Carchex has done just that.

    As a customer you don't have transparency; not even when you think you do. As a customer, all you know (essentially) is what you're told. If a repair shop you believe is reputable tells you that the repair will take "X" amount of time, and the parts will cost "X" amount of money; then you take those cost to be pretty close to accurate.

    Consequently, when the warranty company comes back and say's they're only going to cover something less than the full cost of the repair minus your deductible; it's natural to feel like the covenant has been broken. It's also easy to lose patience; especially when your car has been in the shop for four days and all you want to do is to be mobile again. The whole process just starts to feel horrible, and wrong. That is, unless there's a human being somewhere out there willing to step in and navigate the insanity. For me, Carchex customer service provided that human being.

    When Sharon, the Claims Support Manager at Carchex, stepped in the entire process became clear. Though it was true that the warranty company was not covering the entire cost of the repair, it turned that was happening because the repair shop was charging nearly double the repair time being quoted by the dealership with a 40% parts mark-up.

    The situation definitely was not the warranty company's fault; and yet Carchex still took charge, resolved the issue, and covered the difference just to get me back on the road. Who does that? I guess a company committed to its customers does. What Carchex did was more than I could have ever reasonably wanted.

    Carchex already had my business, on that day they earned my loyalty.

    If you have a warranty with this company and you think your repair cost are covered, you're a fool in for quite the rude awakening. The warranty company is completely unwilling to pay fair market rate on parts, or labor. If you buy this warranty you will still be responsible for 40% to 45% of the cost of the repair plus the 100 dollar deductible. This warranty is just shy of being a complete scam. If the warranty company agrees that the work is on a covered part, the company will not pay for the actual cost of parts and labor being charged. Instead the warranty company will claim with fanatic zeal that any price difference is due to a mark-up being applied by the shop. However, if you call other repair shops in the area, those shops will quoting more repair hours than the number of repair hours authorized. If you call parts stores, you will also not find the part for the price authorized.

    Providing these details to customer service is of absolutely no value. Customer service at this company exists to say no, so no is what they say. So now you're out the time you spend researching cost and you're out the money for the repair. As a business model it is perfectly despicable. Lure customers in saying "should something happen to your car have peace of mind knowing that your vehicle is covered by us". Then when it's time to get a repair done, the company will authorize the repair at parts and labor at cost amounts that could not possibly be obtained at any repair shop in existence; at least not in the part of the country you live in. And NO, the warranty company will not negotiate with the repair shop to get the work done at the authorized cost. Instead, the warranty company expects you to pay the difference. Honestly, in their defense, I think the warranty company could care less who pays the difference, it just won't be them.

    So you pay the warranty company thousands of dollars for the warranty, and then you pay the repair shop 60% of the cost of the repair plus the $100 deductible. SCAM!!! If you knew any of the above before purchasing, then you would likely find a different company, or at least you would not be willing to pay thousands of dollars for a warranty that covers 40% of the repair cost. Don't get caught unaware like I did. Avoid this company.

    The mileage on my pickup was over 100,000 miles. If you do a Google search on a 2010 Ford F150 XLT Lariat, you can see that it's notorious for having cam phaser issues.     I bought a used Mercedes at a yard sale and the owner told me to look into getting an extended service. My car is running out of warranty and the dealer's extended service contract only covers three years and an additional 36,000 miles. Carchex covered more. With a car that costs $60,000 with repairs that average $2,000, it was a good idea to get an extended coverage. Also, Pat Goss who's on MotorWeek is a big proponent of Carchex, and I met and watch his show once in awhile. If he says something, it's not just because he's getting paid to do it, but usually, his word doesn't go wrong. So, I called Carchex up and for a few thousand dollars, I got an extended service contract for four years, a lot of miles on top of the existing 60,000 miles that had already run on this eight-year-old car. And it has paid for itself plus some, and it made it much easier to enjoy the car.

    My experience with Carchex has been positive. The sales guy, David, was persistent but wasn't nagging. When I said I have to think about it and talk to my wife, he called me back a week later. I then said I wasn't ready, and he called me back four days later, which was the perfect time. I just finished going over the details and decided I had to do it. They were patient with me and it wasn't a hard sell. It was all done very well.

    I expect it to pay for the life of itself and if it doesn't, it will have been good insurance because all it takes is one destroyed transmission or one engine computer that costs $5,000 to remove, replace and repair, it will have paid for itself. It will save me from traumatic anxiety. It's always a gamble. And Carchex do it, either you can pay the whole thing in full, which is a lot of money or you can pay monthly payments until it's paid off, or a combination of the two. There's no finance charge.

    The warranty on my Prius expired and I planned on keeping this car for a while longer, so I thought I'll just extend its warranty once it gets close to that time and I'm happy I did it with CARCHEX.     Being 66, it's great to have a vehicle protection plan. I got three kids and my son's the last one, and I help them out. He is going to college and he had to get an extended warranty on the truck he got.     I just signed up for the CARCHEX extended coverage as I have the safety concerns, maintenance-wise, of my semi-new vehicle although I am mechanically inclined and can do it, provided I had my own tools. I just went from the Hampton Bays in New York to West Virginia to deliver my son to his mom. I wanted to be covered in case I had some situation where I would be with my son at 3 in the morning and the next service station is within 100 miles.     I bought a 1998 Lexus from a friend. He had three older cars and at one point had all of them covered with Carchex, and his experience with them had been very good.     I called Carchex to purchase an extended warranty on my car. He told me to read the documents and if I didn't want it I could cancel the service at any time AND RECEIVE A FULL REFUND. Two days later I felt I'd been scammed and called to cancel. Once Carchex found out I was cancelling, they put in a circus of sales people passing me from one to another. Eventually they hung up on me. I called again and had the same experience. They would not let me speak to anyone who would cancel the service.

    At one point, I talked to C ** who told me he would issue me the refund but I had to hold on and wait for the right department. Once again, I was hung up on. I called several times with the same results. On the second month, they charged my card again. And once again I am trying to cancel this corrupt business. I'm not sure what my rights are, but I will pursue any and all legal fees allowed by all Consumer Protection Agencies. I will not stand by and be treated with so little respect.

    I will never forget my frustration I had with them. When my car broke due to bad master cylinder and brake booster, it took them over a week to fix and they didn't even offer me a rental car. Customer service was horrible, if you break down Friday evening, you are screwed, because they don't work weekends, and it takes forever for their approval process. They don't trust certified repair facility, had to wait 2 extra days for a rep to come look at the car. I don't know how they got 4 or 5 stars.     I’ve been with CARCHEX for a while and I have three cars with them before. Now I still got two cars insured. I had used them before on my Nissan Altima and the service that I received was prompt and efficient for what I had to have done for my vehicle. I took it to the shop, inspected it, and tried to find out what the problem was and the coverage I had has covered that. The service providers and the customer service people were understanding and attentive to my problem and they took care of it.

    CARCHEX's prices were reasonable and the arrangements like the monthly payment were reasonable and affordable for me. Then when I went in, I had to put down a large downpayment and it worked out pretty well because I had my Jaguar with them which is very precious to me and the coverage that I got would be sufficient to care for any problem that comes up. The protection specialists were very businesslike, good, courteous, understanding, sufficient, factual, and helped me to resolve the issue that I had with my vehicle. They were most helpful in explaining the contract that I was eligible for, the payment plans, and the information that I could go to any certified mechanic. All my questions were satisfactorily answered. The salesperson I talked to and who offered the contract was good and his explanation was pretty cut and dry, right to the point. My purchasing experience was overall easy.

    I have a Jaguar and if anything major comes up with it, that will put me in the hole. I promptly got another warranty and I promptly paid the CARCHEX because the price and coverage are right and I can call customer service if I need them. A lot of companies disappear on people after they have them for a while, and they’re not able to contact them and ask them any questions or get any redirections or directions. I was in the hospital for a while and the medical bills came up and I missed a couple of payments and I had to somehow dropout from CARCHEX then when I came back, I looked around to see anything comparable to CARCHEX and there wasn’t.

    The highlight, besides the price and coverage, were the affordability and the availability to all professional mechanics. On an overall basis, any certified mechanic can work on the car nationwide and that’s a good thing. I won’t take it to any corner stop mechanic. I’d take it to professional people and if they can’t work on it, I would take it to Jaguar because they built the car and know more about the car than anybody.     Purchasing the warranty from Carchex was really easy. I wasn’t even halfway done signing up for the information and a dude called me in less than a minute. I told him I'd talk to him if he'd call me after work, which is until 4:30. He said he’d call around 5:00 and he called me right when he said he was going to the next day. Most people trying to sell me something won't wait until I’ve asked them to call me back. They want to call at 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon. When they do, I‘ll get on the phone, tell them "No" and hang up.

    The rep was real clear on what he was selling. He knew exactly what he was talking about and was real friendly. At first, I really wasn’t that interested, just curious about the insurance, how much it costs and all that. I figured it’d be real hard to end up using the product. But he broke it down and explained to me real well where I just felt comfortable buying it. And I feel like if I ever do need it, I’m actually going to get to use it and they won't come back and be “Well, this is excluded on your policy because of whatever”.

    Since I bought it, I’ve actually been toying with the idea of calling and canceling it. I got thinking about it, the policy was costing a little over $3,000 and my whole car has to blow up to get the value back out of that policy, but the difference is I can pay $140 a month on it now and when it breaks, I don’t have to have a large sum of cash to get it fixed. I can get it fixed for the price of my deductible. So that’s the benefit of it. I would think if somebody doesn’t have the ability to save money toward something like that, then I could see it being a lot of help.

    I have an F-250 Ford pickup diesel and it's a pretty good sized truck, and I asked a rep from Carchex if the warranty would cover if I ever got a fifth wheel. She said no, but we wouldn’t have a problem changing it over to a different policy that would cover what we're doing. I said okay because at the time I didn’t think about getting a fifth wheel trailer to pull behind it.

    So I bought a fifth wheel and called Carchex the other day to have it changed, and the first person I talked to said definitely not. The second person also said definitely not, so I said I need to talk to somebody else. I finally got some other gal and I talked to her for awhile, and she said, "I don’t think so, but let me do some checking." She came back and said, "Okay, we can do it. We found one for you." And then she sent me back to the guy before that had already told me no and he had to redo everything. So I felt let down. If I had stuck with the first two people, I would have gotten nothing.

    My warranty ran out and at first I didn't think I was going to need an extended coverage for our vehicle. But upon discussing it with my wife, we decided to put a warranty on it.     Our landlord had an extended coverage on the car before he bought it for us so he gave us the warranty and we called them. It was the best deal we got so we stayed with CARCHEX. Buying the vehicle protection plan wasn't difficult at all. The staff gave us quotes and explained everything to us very well. Every question we asked, he answered back. He gave us all what would cover it, the deductibles and what they pay. He was very polite and gave us everything we needed.     Having a vehicle protection plan is very valuable especially when the day comes that one has to pay out of pocket. When I bought my vehicle, I already had coverage but it had expired. I had been calling my previous provider since last month to see if I can extend my warranty but they told me I couldn't, so I figured that I couldn't do it in any other branch. But when I saw the letter from CARCHEX, I checked it out and saw there were discounts offered. I proceeded with it so I wouldn't have to pay several thousands of dollars on stuff. ForeverCar offered a similar deal, but I did my research on both of them and I became more in favor of CARCHEX.

    Justin thoroughly assisted me. He told me a lot of things that I needed for my car. I haven't ran into a discomforting position where if I try to get my car fixed it wasn't accurate. If I go somewhere and then see it's not what Justin told me then I would be very upset.     I'm a single mom and it's frustrating to have a car problem and not having anybody to back me up. You go to the mechanic and they just want to tear you in pieces. Something happened to every car I had when I was in California and it was crazy and frustrating. Since I bought my car in Texas, I've had no problems with it but I had to be realistic that machines break down. Do I really want to go through the same experience I had in California?     My car is not getting any younger. I felt good after I bought the insurance from CARCHEX. I love that they have a rental in case something happens and my car stays more than one day in the shop. I have a way to move around, which is another peace of mind that I have.

    The owner of the shop that I send my car to recommended that I get a warranty package for my car because it will be hitting 10 years soon and I'm just under 100,000 miles. They said that it would be best if I get the Carchex service. It's very comparable to some of the other guys out there, but what drew me to them was that my mechanic told me that they're good to work with. I also checked them out and seems that they are one of the better companies out there. Purchasing the plan from them was easy. I called them up then they came back with all the details and suggested the 24-month Titanium package for my car.

    Their rep sent me an email with all of the technical service bulletin indicating all the work that my car needs to be done by a mechanic and that I have to pay in order to get this plan. Then after I paid for it, he told me that I have to put 1000 miles and in one month before my service warranty kicks in. I travel a lot for work and it's gonna be around three months before I hit 1000 miles, so I'm at a point where I don't know if I wanna keep it and I'm paying $5000 for a warranty that I'm not gonna be able to use.

    We have been talking about this for about four months - going back and forth, but he could've easily told me about the waiting period during those months instead of just throwing it at me at the very tail end. So I'm left a little unsatisfied after I paid for it, but I would recommend them to a friend if they drive 1000 miles per month and factor in the waiting period.

    I was checking Carchex out and they were more reasonable than any of the other extended coverage providers that I had found. It was pretty easy overall to purchase the policy from them. The rep was really nice, answered my questions, and didn't give me the runaround about the premium. He explained everything to me, exactly what was what, and it was good that he did because I wanted to know.

    However, they started out on a bad foot with me because when I took the policy out, they were supposed to not send the check through until June 3, but they sent it through on June 1 and overdrafted my bank account. It was a debit card, so this really upset me because my bank account was thrown in the negative when they deposited that check earlier than I had asked them to. When I called them on Friday, the guy told me that he was going to put in the mail for me a check for the overdraft charge, which was $69.39. But I have not yet received that check and I'm still waiting for it.

    I bought a 2004 car in mint condition and wanted an extended warranty just to be safe on it. I looked online and saw that CARCHEX got good and bad remarks, but most of them were good that's why I picked them. The rep helped me a lot and told me about the $100 deductible that I have to pay on whatever needs done on the car. I was pleased with that. At least I don’t have to pay more money except the deductible. I’m really satisfied with CARCHEX. Hopefully, everything will be okay because I want to start using it on July 1st, when I get the car picked out, and see if I’m satisfied with the service.     I like to have a mechanic guarantee in my vehicle because I'll never know when things will happen. Having a vehicle protection plan could save me money and I recommend CARCHEX. I renewed my expired factory warranty with them and they explained everything that the policy covers. They were friendly and they took care of my car right away.     I knew that I was buying a car that was out of the manufacturer’s warranty so I decided to get an extended warranty just in case. Carchex was recommended by the auto dealership that I’ll be taking my car to if I have a problem. They said that Carchex worked with them and they were the ones that the dealership felt most comfortable with. They were also very competitive price-wise and that did have a lot to do with the purchase. I wasn’t looking for a bottom basement price but I didn’t want to hit the ceiling either.     My original warranty with the BMW dealer was up. They offered me for a new warranty but the price wasn't in my budget and I had to pay everything upfront. Then my daughter told me that CARCHEX was a good company and it has been getting good ratings online. So I signed up and went over everything with them. I was very grateful that they gave me the opportunity to do a monthly payment. They also go up to 1000 miles and I could get a loaner from them if my car needed repair. My car had just a little mileage when I bought it so I thought everything was fine. So when my warranty was up, I got an extended coverage to back me up if anything happens in the future.

    My experience with them was not bad, until a week ago when I had a problem with my car. The BMW dealer called them and then they called and told me that CARCHEX will cover my broken lights and my AC which had stopped working. I was assuming that I was covered since I've been paying all this time. Then they denied the claim saying that the vehicle's amount was less than what they had spent on it. However, that was not the agreement. I was not told about that. It's a BMW, I paid almost $40,000 for it, so I took CARCHEX to back my warranty up. I also read the plan coverage to them. It says the agreement expiration is on 12/18/2016 or agreement expiration mileage was 74,808. So why did they decide to not pay for the repairs?

    They quote something about their liability on another page that they found on a sample agreement. So, "respect to the total of all benefits" which I did not understand at the time, that was a part of it because I was not told. I told them that it should be with my plan and coverage information and not on another page. They specifically made clear the plan and coverage to me and I was of the opinion that that is what I was reading. Even though they scanned through the whole whatever document they have, I did not understand that and I was never told or sent any information pertaining to that. I've recommended more than 11 people to CARCHEX. I've recommended a lot of people because everything was good until I was dissatisfied because of their misleading. I'm now having second thoughts about recommending them to my friend, my daughter and everyone else.
