Our car is over 50,000 miles. BMW did not offer so far as 20,000 miles and I had an extended warranty for that right now. I went with CarShield because I have seen the commercial on TV, but they ripped me off. I waited for 30 days and I canceled it. The other company was nice because they gave me an employee discount and a veteran discount. Then they were going to give me another discount on my monthly payment when I called to cancel but the deductible was only 100 bucks. A CARCHEX protection specialist told me it was better than CarShield so I went ahead and did it. I only had CARCHEX for a few days and I am happy that I got CARCHEX now. I paid the $160 and a $200 payment but I wish the deductible was cheaper. I'm paying a little bit more for CARCHEX but I would like a discount. And if they lower their prices, they might be able to take customers from other companies away.
A vehicle protection plan is valuable because whenever I paid for repairs previously, they were pricey on the vehicle. I did not want to go and pay that much money again, so I would rather have the coverage and save thousands of dollars for repairs. The computer on my vehicle is $15,000 to be fixed and I do not have $15,000 to even pay for that. So, if I ever needed it replaced, they will fix it.

I bought a vehicle before and I knew nothing about an extended warranty. I had my first vehicle for a while since 2010 and I had a lot of problems with it and I paid a lot out of pocket, even down to the transmission. A co-worker mentioned that she got an additional warranty on her vehicle, so it made me look into it. I read a lot about CARCHEX and went with them. Enrollment with them was very simple, quick and easy. The guy that I spoke with answered every question that I needed. Once I had questions and I called back, I got someone completely different and they were still good and able to pick up. Having a protection plan is very valuable especially with CARCHEX. The price was very affordable and they gave me a peace of mind knowing that I have this extra warranty and I know that CARCHEX got my back. It helped out for me a lot. I will definitely recommend them. This is the second car that I’ve ever bought and I made the right decision.

My car is an older model and the warranty I had when I first got the car had expired. I got an extended warranty from CARCHEX two weeks ago and the experience with the rep was great. His name was Cory and he was cool and nice. Everything was fine and smooth. Having the CARCHEX warranty is a peace of mind and it's convenient too.

It is my first experience with getting extended warranty coverage because I usually go ahead and pay for repairs when I have a used vehicle. But this particular vehicle I have happened to be within the range for an extended warranty and it was new enough. So far, I’m pleased with the representative from CARCHEX. Her name is Alicia and her style is efficient and professional. She represents the brand well, and she follows up on her work. She deserves high marks.
While I haven't had any difficulties overall, I still need to say that I was not alerted that another company was under the auspices of CARCHEX, which was AAA and MileOne, so I was confused because I had a conversation going on with MileOne. And because I persevered with questions, I only found out that MileOne is also under the auspices of CARCHEX. It would have saved me a number of calls had I known that, because MileOne declined to allow me to submit an application, so I wondered why was I declined.
I thought I had some kind of consumer issue going on because I wasn’t given a clear understanding that that would have been a conflict of interest. It was a little stressful and MileOne knew I was talking to CARCHEX. And instead of just telling me that they're under the auspices of CARCHEX, they just said I don’t qualify. It would be helpful for other consumers because this omission creates a little angst. However, I still had a positive sales experience with CARCHEX.

I bought a used vehicle and wanted the extended warranty. And while CARCHEX is more pricey than I thought they were going to be, they worked with me as much as they could. I had coverage with CARCHEX before and I renewed it for a different vehicle. My experience was great. I spoke with Alicia and she was the one I was in touch with. She gave me the price which was cheaper than anybody else. She also kept in contact with me. We kept going back and forth through email and text messages for a few months, and she’s always available when I need her. Having a vehicle protection plan is very valuable and I'd tell others that CARCHEX is the company that they need to go with.

CARCHEX was highly recommended by one of the sites. I went to their site, got information and took the deal. Purchasing from them was simple and it was not a big deal. Buying the car was a huge deal, but not the extended warranty. A lot of people said not to waste my money but when I found out it was half the price and I was getting a lot more from CARCHEX than I was getting from Subaru, I thought it was the wise thing to do. My mechanic recommended that I get extended warranty, but he recommended going to Subaru. But I found Subaru just crazy. I would tell others that CARCHEX is a reasonable approach.

The monthly payment of a $170 for a CARCHEX warranty for my car stood out for me. Their loan officer, Anthony, provided all the information that I needed. There was no hassle and they didn't try to convince and rush me to get the warranty, even though I knew I needed it. I even told Anthony that I had to call him back and I would decide, and he set up the follow-up and was patient. I'm now under the 30-day grace period and they have taken the money out of my account, though I still have some questions on where I will take my car if I have to use the policy. Other than that, everybody from the customer service and administrative end was very accommodating and helpful, and I would tell my friends to check CARCHEX out.

Having a vehicle protection plan is very valuable. Repairs can be costly if I don’t have some kind of warranty, especially on a car like the one that I'm driving. CARCHEX came up as one of the more popular extended warranty companies and they've got more accreditation. The rep, Tayshaun, was great. He was very helpful and he explained the different packages. He did a good job and assisted me fairly well. Everything seems to be fine.

My car had over 100,000 miles and CARCHEX was rated higher than most of the other warranty companies. Buying the protection plan was very quick. The process was seamless and painless. My protection specialist was Bryce and he did a very good job. He did a very nice job of explaining the different levels of coverage, the cost, and he helped me understand which was the best one to pick for my situation. I hope I never have to use the protection plan but I feel safe knowing that I have it.

I'm buying my vehicle pre-owned so I wanted to be sure we were covered for an extended time with that car. I did an internet search of the best rated and CARCHEX was up there. I did contact another firm and in all things being equal, CARCHEX prices were better so that's why I went with them. With German cars, having a warranty is paramount.
My protection specialist, Bill, was great. I looked at some online research and the company that's underwriting my policy had some negative things so I was disinclined for CARCHEX at that time. But after talking with Bill several times, he convinced me. He explained things in a good way. He addressed a lot of the concerns I had in a very thorough manner. He's very professional and very friendly so I was impressed with him. Overall, my initial experience with CARCHEX went very well.

A warranty on their car is something that people take very lightly. I've got an old car that’s about 12-13 years old and I figured that I needed to come to CARCHEX because I couldn’t make the repairs myself. I’m a poor kid and I’ve got a car, and I’d like to have repairs done on it if it breaks down. If its transmission breaks down, for instance, and I go to a dealership or a garage some place, I would have to pay excessive amounts of money. So, I applied for CARCHEX warranty and I’ve entered it. My interaction with the rep was good and I felt that I was assisted better. They also made it easy for me to see if I could get CARCHEX to help me fix up the car.

Early 2017, I had experienced a lemon. I let the dealership put the extended warranty on my secondhand vehicle, but they never did. I ended up losing the car so now, I wanted to make sure that that doesn’t happen this time. I got duped so I did the warranty and everything. I did some research online and I've seen that there were a lot of positive feedback from CARCHEX. I then decided to try and see if that would work out for me.
The plan and everything worked out so, I was pretty happy with the service that I have received from David. He was the rep that took care of me, set everything up, gave me the information and went through the detail of the package. He ran through everything with me and let me understand that this covers that and what was the best option for me with the secondhand car which was pretty helpful. Having the protection plan is very valuable, coming from all the money that I dished out earlier 2017, trying to fix the car out of pocket. It's pretty reasonable and it saves in the long run.

A vehicle protection plan is very valuable because if your car breaks down and you don't have any coverage, you're going to be in trouble. I was getting ready to hit 50,000 miles and BMW recommended CARCHEX and I just called and set up something with them because I knew I needed it. The level of assistance was very good. Their specialist told me everything, gave me the rundown of what would and would not be covered, and answered all the questions that I asked. I started a few weeks ago and, as of now, I would recommend them.

I just bought a new vehicle and it wasn’t covered under the dealer's warranty nor the car maker's warranty. I got an auto warranty from CARCHEX. The rep, Ryan, was very knowledgeable about the company, the warranty and the offer, and he knew a lot about the dealerships in the area. He was informative and explained things. I’m a very factual person and he gave me a lot of facts. He encouraged me to look around and he didn’t hassle me, but he just said, “Okay, you make your decision but we are the best.” After he gave me the information, I researched and looked at other companies, and I called dealerships and asked them about CARCHEX. When I had a concern, I called Ryan back and he gave me a little bit more information.
Having a protection plan on my vehicle is very valuable. It puts my mind at ease that if anything costly happens, I know that I'm covered, outside of an accident. I took two weeks for me to decide on getting the warranty and Ryan was really patient. I'd recommend teaching people Ryan's approach because it’s a really good approach. I would tell people to definitely check CARCHEX out and request this person.

I had bad experience with all extended warranty. These guys loot our money. Instead of paying them create your own account where you can deposit this money and get interest instead of spending the money on them because they give different reasons for giving you the claim!!! Really horrible experience. My sincere advice is not buy any extended warranty instead invest that money your saving account and get interest on it. Keep it aside a 100$ per month!!!

My warranty before was coming up about 1,000 miles away, and I was looking online on different coverages that might be available for extended warranties. CARCHEX came up as highly recommended. Compared to others, they had great reviews. Also, the gentleman that I spoke to, everything we discussed in regards to the policy looked very good to me. Having a protection plan is absolutely valuable. It gives me peace of mind, and there’s nothing like having peace of mind. I like the fact that CARCHEX does 100,000 miles, where it ends up you would only use 60,000. It’s more money at CARCHEX, but more distance, too. I could have gone with the dealership that I bought my BMW from. However, I liked CARCHEX's Better Business Bureau A-Plus rating and also that they're affiliated with AAA, and I have full respect for AAA and the Better Business Bureau.
The purchasing experience was simple. I just told them what I was looking for and they told me three different services that they had. I chose the Platinum. I liked the fact that it pretty much gives me bumper to bumper protection. The protection specialist were both wonderful. One of them has the plan himself, so that speaks for itself. He answered every single one of my questions and explained to me at great length the plan and how it gives me coverage.

Every review I saw on the extended coverage I was provided was terrible and when I googled the top five best warranty places, Carchex was the top. The guy I spoke with on the phone walked me through the whole thing and answered every question I had promptly. He was great and I’d strongly recommend Carchex.

My CARCHEX expired and I renewed it. I like that they have a good plan and they cover everything. On top of that, they pay their bills like they are supposed to. Other people take time plans and the few dealers had them wait on it but not with CARCHEX. CARCHEX makes sure they get their money. Their reps always make sure I get a rundown on the plan that I'm getting, what they cover, everything. They were very thorough, a really good deal. They went through every avenue to make it right for me. So far, everything was on point. I drop the vehicle to the dealership, the dealer will call CARCHEX and they strictly tell the dealer to go ahead and fix it. I haven't had anything that they denied. Anything that was sent through they paid for it. I would recommend others to go to CARCHEX to get a better plan and coverage.

I had just recently purchased a vehicle and I noticed that the vehicle didn't have any warranties on it, and I was trying to make sure the car was covered. I typed in extended warranties in Google and Carchex was the first name that popped up. The purchasing of the warranty was pretty smooth. The guy seemed pretty professional. He walked me through the steps of the actual coverage but he only offered one plan. I gave him my VIN number for my vehicle and he gave me a fair coverage and price, which was $196 a month. He didn't go into too much detail about the coverage. I'm waiting for my welcome package, so I can go through it and read about it.

I have a Jaguar and I contacted the dealership and they gave me a quote for the extended warranty. But I went online and checked CARCHEX. The pricing was very good, and it’s bumper to bumper coverage. Their four-year plan was $500 cheaper than the three-year plan from the dealership. I spoke with the CARCHEX rep and they sent me the contract to go over. But I didn't quite understand it so I got on the phone and spoke with another rep and he went through the contract with me. We touched on the most selling points and then I agreed to do it. I didn't read it with a magnifying glass, but I was just pleased with it. They were very forthcoming with any information.
My car is four years old and it has 19,000 miles. I don't drive very much. And the way the extended warranties are set up, it is not effective immediately and it would be for 1000 miles in 30 days. But there was no way that I would be driving that much. So then it falls to 200 miles in 90 days, and I'm not happy about that. But the rep told me that's pretty much the industry way of doing it. I accepted that but I still don't drive anywhere. But I have to call them back to know how will they know the miles in 30 or 90 days, and if it would be based on my words. Also, it surprised me that they have no interest in inspecting the car, but I went with it. It works in my favor, so I'm not going to push it too far.
They've had no problems with the car so I'm pretty optimistic that nothing's going wrong, but 90 days is a long period of time to where I will not have any extended warranty in place. I didn’t do anything to find the right answer to that question, until I get the paperwork. But one of the good points with having CARCHEX is that I have the option of transferring it, and CARCHEX buying the plan from me and then it would continue on the car, or I could notify them and I would get a rebate based on the time that I have it. It’s awesome they offered it, and I would recommend them.

I've had CARCHEX ever since I got my car in 2013. The first sales rep I had for the first two times that I've purchased it was helpful. He answered all my questions. This year was a different rep because the previous one was working in another area. But I've had nothing but good experience. I just hope they continue to do the services they’ve done before because I had an issue but I wasn’t looking for them to resolve it right away. But they resolved it the next day. The rep had to go to his upper management for it and he got me in and out for the next day and I appreciate that. I'm very satisfied and I would recommend Carchex.

When I learned that my other extended coverage had lapsed, I decided to look into getting an extended coverage for my vehicle. CARCHEX seemed to offer more benefits than other companies, and I had a very professional experience with them. Their customer service was great. The rep went over everything down to detail. I felt comfortable giving him my money. Plus the process was very easy. CARCHEX is the best company to go with.

I have a high mileage range on my car and every other warranty usually do lower mileage. I called Carchex and they didn't need a down payment and they just wanted me to settle the first month payment. The rep was a nice guy and he told me everything that ran down to my warranty. I wanted to call around because their rate is a little too high for a monthly warranty. I got it anyway, but he told me that I had 30 days, and if I still want it, I could just keep it and pay on it, but if I don’t want it, then I can just call back and they’ll do a return. The rep also told me that the engine would be covered and I would get car service if my car were to break down and I had to put it in a shop. The warranty is pricey but it's worth it at the end of the day, especially when you don't have the money to pay for your vehicle services.

I briefly had my transmission go out for me, and a lot of my friends have suggested that because I got an Audi, getting an extended warranty will be best. When I looked online, CARCHEX seemed to get good reviews overall and seemed like they’ve been in the business for a good number of years. The purchase process went smooth and the few questions I had on how I would be able to make the payments and what were the things covered were answered. I had a little bit of trouble having a lot of interference with my phone connection and I had to repeat a lot of stuff, but when the representative understood me, he was able to answer my questions quickly and he felt knowledgeable about what he was talking about.
I appreciated having a protection plan on my previous car. But now, I wasn’t able to actually use it because I ran over the mileage. Still I see that it’s a very good thing, especially given some of the parts can be covered. I’ve also started to look even more, that there's potential for stuff to break on the car just because it’s that car, not because one's doing anything wrong with it, seems to be something that happens fairly commonly. So far, CARCHEX right now seems like a great thing. They’ve been around in the business for a while and they're consistent with highly rated reviews.

My fiancée and I decided that we’re probably gonna end up keeping my Nissan at the end of its lease so we wanted some warranty extension. I actually work in the service department for a dealership so I came across a lot of different warranties. CARCHEX is highly rated on the website and also had the most reviews. Although some of it is a little bit misleading because some of the reviews are more towards the purchase experience than the actual use experience.
The representative was fairly professional and nice and answered all my questions. I kind of knew I wanted something at least long-term and the best coverage. So from there he gave me the options and the price points and it was all straightforward and helpful. Being in the car business I know a vehicle protection plan is very valuable. It’s just like purchasing insurance on your car. You may never use it if you don’t get in a wreck but if you do it’s good to have. I don’t wanna make a payment and a repair at the same time so it's very useful.
One thing I would’ve liked to have clarified is why in the same plan there are three different administrators. They have their own administration of plans versus who I got stuck with, which is Auto Shield. I'm curious as to what the criteria was because I feel more comfortable if the company that is administering is the same one that I’m buying from. So overall it’s all straightforward and honest. Just that you just got to ask the questions and look into it. They’re not trying to hide anything or play any games and they’re not pushy and that counts a lot.

My vehicle was 5 years old and the manufacturer’s warranty went out. So, I started checking around to see if I could get extended warranty and I ended up at the CARCHEX website. My son’s 15 and the plan that my husband and I discussed was to give him the vehicle the I’m currently driving so I wanted to make sure that it had some extended warranty, given the fact that I plan to pass it down. My best friend referred me to the CARCHEX agent and that person who worked with me was knowledgeable. I had some concerns because I did a little bit of homework and the horror stories were plentiful. He just kind of gave me some assurance like “Hey, everything we discussed in the contract, we’ll honor it,” and he sounded really convincing, super-knowledgeable, super-nice and super-responsive.
Any question that I had he was more than willing. He would answer it and talk about his own personal experiences. He currently has extended warranty through them and he said that he’s never had any issues. He answered the questions that I had and talked about the history of the company and the reputation of the company.

My vehicle is fairly new and the coverage that I got was too high. My son searched around online and he turned me onto CARCHEX. I talked to the salesman and found that the loan was good for what I need for the car. He knew what he was talking about, he told me all the things I needed to know and compared it with the other warranty, and he convinced me that I would do better with his plan than the plan I had. He was also friendly and considerate. Plus, I got more on CARCHEX and it was a lot cheaper than the warranty I bought at the dealership. I got them and I cancelled the other one. I’d show my friend the policy from CARCHEX and tell him to go with them.

I like the coverage that CARCHEX offered. I have interviewed about four or five different companies but they have a lot of vague disclosures, and a lot of policies don’t cover a lot of the high tech stuff that I have in my vehicle. It doesn’t pay or have normal prices for it. Since I already had a history with CARCHEX, they worked with me on my previous car and seemed to do okay when I did file a claim, I just went back with them. I called them up and asked questions. I spoke to different guys, but one guy had been sending me emails for quite awhile now and once I got ready to purchase, he sent me an email and I talked with him over the phone. He seemed knowledgeable about the product and he answered every question I had, so that gave me a little more sense of comfort.
I got a CARCHEX warranty so that I won't have to check myself continuously because Mercedes could be costly if you get the right repair. For example, I had heater pump in my DEF fuel tank. I'm driving a diesel B-Class and that heater pump had to be swapped out for a new one. This was under warranty but it ended up being $2700 for that to replace. The DEF fuel is a liquid added that mixes with the diesel to present almost 0% emission. But CARCHEX covered everything and everything went through smoothly but had I not had that then, I'm looking at setting at my vehicle and set it aside and get it done next month or a month after that.
My biggest influencer was the history that’s why I went with them. A lot of people say they cover Mercedes but when you take them into the shop they try to nickel and dime your stuff. Warranty companies should assist you and it was something that CARCHEX was there for. The CARCHEX sales rep answered all my questions and he followed up with me. The only thing I didn’t like about the process was when they offered me a discount and said I only got until tomorrow to get it or it's going away. I don’t like being powered or pressured into getting one. So now I'm thinking I want to pay more if I take more time to research this. So I'd rather drop it and eliminate the stress.

My warranty is getting ready to expire in June. I just went on the internet and surfed on there to see what’s the top ten individuals that do extended warranties and learned about CARCHEX. It was user-friendly and the individual from CARCHEX was very informational. He was able to answer all the questions that I asked him about it because I had never done one before. And the price was reasonable compared to other ones I’ve done with previous vehicles through another agency which was dealing with the car dealership itself. And I asked him about the different packages. He explained each one of them, very detailed and I decide to go with him.
The protection police was very, very polite for one and definitely seemed to know what he was talking about. And he wasn’t a pushy person either. He offered me ones from the highest down to the lowest ones and he even was able to look up more detailed problems with that type of vehicle, which I have looked up also. And he was right on point on which type of problems would happen and which would be covered. So he was good as far as information knowing what he was talking about. The protection plan is very valuable, especially if you have vehicles before where they went past the warranty and you have to get them fixed. You don’t want to be paying out of pocket for something that you could actually had cover for a lesser price.

I liked that the information of Carchex was readily available on the internet. It just fit the way that I liked to operate which was just over the internet and quick. I had a great experience purchasing the plan from them. The representative named Ben provided me with a handful of quotes. I was looking for a little bit more protection and he gave me those options as well. When I had some free time, I gave him a call and we talked through it and within five minutes I was able to give him my credit card information to purchase a plan. It was simple, fast and easy. Plus, the rep was very positive and helpful. Not to mention, the pricing was competitive.

I've got 96,000 miles on my truck thereabouts, and my other warranty had run out, and I'm at the point when one major thing can cost me a lot of money. I researched and I really liked all the reviews for CARCHEX. I enjoyed working with the guy that I dealt with. He was very pleasing, answered my questions, and was just very forthcoming. I got a used car, which is a 2004. I looked online and CARCHEX was rated number one among auto coverage providers. I purchased a vehicle protection plan from them over the phone and the rep that I spoke with did very well and was always very nice. I had a good experience with CARCHEX and I got all the help that I needed. Having a vehicle protection plan is very valuable and CARCHEX is a very good company.

The CARCHEX protection specialist I worked with was very responsive. He was thorough in answering questions and knowledgeable about the product. And patient because I wanted to make sure I complied with all of the things necessary before I purchased the policy. I had the car fully inspected and all of the applicable maintenance that had to be done, made sure there was no pre-existing conditions or things that might be a factor that might nullify the policy and all those things checked out before I purchased a policy. Sometimes there's a shift between the sales group versus response group but so far it's been a good experience.

CARCHEX treated me pretty good. When I went on the internet and asked what was the best, they came up. I then reached out to them because I heard they have a good program and everything has been good so far. The process was good. I talked to someone and they called me back. Getting the plan and getting the services and the warranty in the range that I wanted it in had been great. The protection specialist was good, too. Having a protection on my car is third on the list after a protection plan for the house and a healthcare.

So far, my experience has not been great. I have had my warranty for about 7 months and had to file my first claim. I was constantly the middleman between the warranty administrator and the auto dealership - which I was told by Carchex that would not be the case. The administrator did not pay for the full repair because some costs were not according to their "national averages" that they have in a book. The reps say whatever they have to say to demean the dealership (even a national brand) to get out of paying costs. I was told that I could take my car to the Hyundai dealership, and I would not have an issue with repairs. The warranty administrator denied paying some fees such as the initial diagnostic fee (which every dealership charges) so I had to pay that out of pocket. If I had known what kind of experience I was going to have, I would have never purchased this warranty. Stay away.

I've had CARCHEX before and I was very pleased with them. So, therefore, I decided to check in with CARCHEX again and checked a couple of other companies as well. One of the things that I found out was that the places that I went to when I had CARCHEX, they were very pleased with how CARCHEX dealt with them and paid them on time and there was usually never a hassle. The rep of Carchex gave me a very fair price for this vehicle that’s why I went with them. They had this vehicle before but it ran out. And I also have my truck with CARCHEX as well. The rep was also professional, friendly, and very thorough. I've been satisfied with Carchex and they’ve come through with what they have said that they're going to do and I've never had a problem with them.

The factory warranty on my vehicle was just about up and I needed extended coverage for it. I saw the information on the internet and CARCHEX seemed to be highly recommended. We had a pre-owned vehicle that was out of warranty. We went to CARCHEX not only because of the rates. Customer service was also better and they have higher payout percentage for claims. Everything has been great for the most part. Everybody's really helpful and patient. When something was going on with my Dodge engine CARCHEX took care of it the exact same day.
But when we sold the Dodge Caravan and we got a Ford Expedition we had to cancel. Ford had an extended exclusionary policy and CARCHEX couldn't price match. It was just much cheaper and more affordable for us. But it was the actual dealership. We would never have chosen a different third-party warranty. We would've stayed with CARCHEX forever. We'll be coming back to CARCHEX once this one expires because CARCHEX offers warranties passed the mileage.
If you can't find an exclusionary policy through a dealership that you purchased the car from, then definitely go with CARCHEX over everybody. And I've looked at a lot of different extended warranties. I Googled like top 10 best warranties and CARCHEX doesn't come up, which I don't understand why they don't come up. In comparison to everyone else's like the BBB and other reviews CARCHEX has much better comparison and I don't understand that. If you try to make calls and try to do quotes with different people CARCHEX beats out everybody and they offer more for the money.

I bought the car used that had about 80,000 miles on it and the factory warranty wasn't going to last much longer, so I just needed some to extend it. CARCHEX had pretty good reviews. ConsumerAffairs and a couple of other places had them at 4.7 out of 5 on average so I chose them. The guy I dealt with was great and was friendly. He answered all the questions I had and he wasn't too pushy with it. And then I called last week to actually get it going. He also detailed exactly what the coverage was and what it would entail. And he also explained more about the waiting period and overall explained everything thoroughly. It was a good experience and I was very satisfied.

The warranty on the car was going out and we needed to extend it for a couple more years. I looked up the top 10 providers and the first one I spoke to was okay. I wasn't too thrilled with him and I called Carchex next. And the person I spoke with was really nice and he explained everything to me and he told me what I needed to do, told me how I would get my card and when it would work and everything. So, I thought that was the best thing for me to do and I didn't go any further thought there were two other ones who I spoke to before the Carchex guy. He kept calling me after I told him to call me back. And then he called me and I wasn't at home, I was out. And I said, "Well, call me back." And he was so patient.
He mentioned a couple things to me and the different deductibles and the cost, and it's five years versus three years, and $500 deductible and then it went down. So, he took some time and he's not pushy but he gets the job done. He was very good and persistent. I'd tell friends that when they call Carchex, they do answer their phone. They're easy and you're comfortable.

I looked online and found a top ten list of the best places to get extended warranty coverage. I called the number one on the list and their customer service wasn't 100% the greatest. They were very pushy, and felt that they were pretty much looking just for the sale compared to what the customer needs. I worked in customer service so I know what you should sound like on the phone. Then I called CARCHEX because they were number two on the list, and I dealt with Anthony. He was very professional and he wasn't pushy to get the sale that day. He was very informative and he gave me his email so I could email him back and forth and he emailed me a bunch of information so I could go over it with my husband. And whenever I called CARCHEX, Anthony has been very nice and respectful.
I sent the information to my husband and he looked it over and thought it was a really good deal. Anthony reached out to us a few times but we were not ready yet because we were waiting for our income tax to come to be able to get the extended warranty. And he told me that we can just give him a call when we are ready. I called them on a Friday because they were having their Stars and Stripes event, which brought the price down $150 total. Anthony pushed the paperwork through and I told him that I only get paid on Mondays but I wanted to take advantage of the Stars and Stripes promotion that they were having. He told me that he will run it through and process my card on Monday and he'll email the confirmation and send our paperwork in the mail. It was very smooth sailing.
CARCHEX offers one of the best deals. I've called other places and the warranty was almost double the price with less miles. I even contacted the place where we bought our vehicle through and their extended warranty was right around the same price as CARCHEX, but with 10,000 miles less. And they cover a lot as well compared to all of the other companies I've looked into.

I’m driving a Mercedes and I was pleased with what I saw on the CARFAX check. The car had been very well maintained and it was only serviced by a Mercedes dealership, and I didn’t want anybody to go in there and start switching wires and not doing things that are factory based. And with Mercedes, it can also be expensive just to do regular maintenance without a warranty. All cars should maintain one because you just don’t get the service. The mechanics could really do some damage, but they are more conscious about the things they do to the vehicle when they know your car is under warranty.
CARCHEX offered the better package. But people purchase these warranties and then the dealership can't cover them, so I had to do my background work on it and asked Mercedes if they accepted CARCHEX and they did. The young lady that set me up was very professional and personal at the same time. She was very thorough when she went on the plan and gave her personal opinion and she made me know that it was her personal opinion. She said, “If I was you and at the end of the day it’s your decision, but I will go with this because you are covered with your diagnostic check. You got your gasket resealed. You can alleviate the free month and you can make your plan cheaper if you would like.” She ran down the options that I had and I felt I trusted her and the information that she gave me. Though they wanted me to drive 1,000 miles before I get maintenance done on the car.

I purchased a car for my wife, and I just came back from Georgia with it. It’s a 2004 but it has got almost 70,000 miles only on it. My wife has a permit, but she’s still learning how to drive. I wanted to make sure that she’s safe because she stays home with my son and I run my business so I can pay the bills. My wife and I took different days that we were researching CARCHEX on our own, and then we compared the information that we both got. We decided to go with CARCHEX, and the process was quick and absolutely seamless. As far as having them and being able to contact them, the customer service was great, and they answered every question that I had.
I paid for the warranty with my money, and I just got it. We haven’t had any problems with the car until recently. I’m having trouble with the car but I haven’t had the chance to put it in the shop. The warranty is something good to have because I always try to keep money saved for issues like that. Everything costs money and I know I still have to come out of my pocket, but with CARCHEX, I don’t have to do it fully and I can get the car fixed without the headache of worrying about if I can pay for it. It’s also easier for my wife because she doesn’t know about cars like I do, so when things happen, she can just call CARCHEX and they can walk her through it.

I was looking for a warranty for my Jeep and went on Google and came across a few companies. CARCHEX was the second company I asked for a quote from. Their customer service representative seemed to be very friendly and helpful and he followed up with me consistently. He mailed me when I asked him to and he called back and followed up. He was going to be my claims specialist as well. He wasn't only as if he was a salesperson, he was actually going to take me on as his personal client, so I figured that that was good. Because my experience with him was so well, I figured if I ever needed any claims in the future, going with him would be a good thing. I was too busy to commit right away to a plan but his persistence sold me. Within a week and a half of doing my research, I decided to go with purchasing a plan though CARCHEX.
Purchasing the plan was pretty seamless and straightforward. They walked me through what the policy covers and the different options. They did a pretty good job in detailing the options. There was a Platinum three-year plan and a regular three-year plan and a six-year plan. The three-year Platinum and six-year regular were the same price and the three-year Platinum was a little bit more. I decided to go with the six-year plan. This made sense for what I was looking to cover. Having a vehicle protection plan is worth it. The Jeep had low miles on it and I like to have it for a very long time. I figured covering it for at least the next six years would be a good start.

My car is a second-hand car and I ran out of warranties from the dealer. I would like to make sure that I'm on the safe side. There were several calls that I received but I don't like their warranty. I'm not satisfied. I have a very good sales rep from CARCHEX that helped me out. The salesman has a very good convincing power that's why CARCHEX got me. They explained very well to me what my coverages are. I have an experience in the past that I have a Chrysler Sebring. I even brought a GAP and then GAP did not even help me to fix my car. I want to make sure that this car is well covered even though it is auto warranty. Also, I asked them where should I go and then they told me where to go and what my deductibles are. I'm pretty much satisfied with all things. I will always recommend CARCHEX. I'm happy with them.

I’ve had my car since 2013 and my original warranty was up. I plan on keeping this car for a little longer so I thought it would be a good idea to have some type of extended warranty. I researched different companies and when I came across Carchex, it seemed like it would be a no hassle type situation if I ever had to utilize their services. Purchasing their vehicle protection plan was a positive experience. Their rep was very knowledgeable about the product he was selling. He thoroughly explained it and was able to answer the questions that I had. At first, I didn't have all the information that I needed. I asked him if he could call me back. He did, but I was at work and couldn’t answer right then. So then, I gave him another time and he was able to call me back. He wasn't pushy at all.
Having a protection plan is valuable especially if something major is to occur with my vehicle. I've shared Carchex with several of my coworkers. I told them that having their warranty would be a good idea if they didn't have one yet. We're working in the school system and we don't always have that disposal of cash to pay for a new engine.

We bought a used Audi A6 and its manufacturer's warranty is expiring soon. It's a German luxury sedan and there's generally more that can go wrong with it. The repairs would potentially be a little bit more frequent and costly too. If we were buying a Toyota Camry, I wouldn't have worried too much. I've owned Audis before in the past and one of the big issues they have is timing change which requires the entire motor to be pulled from the car in order to replace the timing chain. It's an $8,000 repair for guides and attention. One of the engines that's in the car has the potential of having that fault and that can occur before 100,000 miles. So, we purchased the peace of mind that if it happened, we wouldn't have to worry about it.
The customer satisfaction of Carchex from ConsumerAffairs and Consumer Reports was a lot higher than some of their competition and also, they seemed to be a piece of value than other ones that we had looked at and what our broker was wanting us to buy instead. We bought the Carchex protection and it was very quick and easy. Their people were very friendly, knowledgeable about how the plan worked, and they were also able to advise on the plan add-ons that I might need, one of which I bought as well. They're generally very friendly and it was a good experience. I'd recommend Carchex.

Having that peace of mind and knowing that my BMW is covered helps me a lot. My warranty will be up in April so I wanted to make sure I got something. I checked on Better Business Bureau and I checked a lot of different places. I checked everything and CARCHEX was the better fit for me. They have very good ratings and reviews and it's just a good company to go with. I wanted more or less the complete package so I bought the Platinum. Some companies offered the Platinum package per se but the coverage is not as good when you read the fine print. Their rep was very informative, persistent and he made sure that I was educated about the process. He answered all the questions that I asked. He sent me over the information and I was able to see it in black and white. He listened to me and he was very courteous.

My warranty was going to run out in about five months. I chose CARCHEX since they were more professional. Nikki, the salesperson, was very professional, helpful and patient. My extended coverage ran out and I wanted to get more. There was really nothing wrong with the vehicle but I was worried that something can happen unexpectedly and that would be very expensive to repair. I felt I needed some insurance to back me up in case something happens. So, I researched online and looked at a lot of places. I have purchased an older, used vehicle and the manufacturer warranty is gone. You only get 90 days, if any warranty, with the vehicle. But because it is an older vehicle and it's something that I'm trying to hold on to without buying a new one, having an extended coverage is very needed. I'm close to 200,000 miles on my vehicle and that was another plus that you were able to look into it to see if I was eligible for their program. Right now, nothing is wrong with the vehicle and I just wanted to have that protection. I have a list of providers and CARCHEX was more willing to work with me. The others, because of the mileage on the car, which is pretty high. They couldn't assist me.
CARCHEX first talks to you and they promise you a whole bunch of stuff that you're good for. But then, when they start filling up the form and they saw how many miles I have on it, then they told me I was not eligible and I went to three different companies. It went very well and they let me know what the price is going to be and what I can look forward to going forward from this point. What they explained to me was very easy.
I enjoyed the rep because you can tell when a person knows about a product or if he's a salesperson. I spoke to two different people and they knew exactly what they were talking about. They knew about the product and each one, like the other day that's in sales, the first person I spoke to got all of my information. Then, he transferred me to his manager just to confirm everything that he talked about. It was a balance that they knew the product. They weren't just trying to sell me something to be selling me something. But they were listed behind the product and to me, that was a plus.
It's very important to have extended coverage when you look at the market today and the cost of everything. If something should happen to a transmission with my Toyota, it's certainly kind of expensive and it's not like people may hand you $4,000 available just for one vehicle. You may have that money but you may not want to put it all that one time on the vehicle. When you have that backing, that someone can come in and assist you, they'll tell you, we can help you with this but you need to be able to do this. In order to get back and forward to work, to go to the grocery store, people need a vehicle. Even if it's an older vehicle such as mine of 2005, if I could get another 100,00 miles out of it, I feel that I'm doing great.
But if something should happen with my transmission, my engine, or even the other things that are covered by purchasing the warranty, it gives me that satisfaction. Somebody cares about me because I have an older vehicle and they want to see me continue to give what I need to do. I'm going to realize the benefit of having this product. From a female standpoint, I can go out and get in my vehicle. If something should happen, that you guys are going to be behind me and you're going to walk me through every step of the way to make sure that I'm okay. I wish they could give me someplace that I can take the vehicle to have it fixed, like ideas. They're like my insurance company and they help me get to where I need to get things done.

I've had an extended auto warranty before. It's a good deal to have when getting a new vehicle. I looked online and checked the ratings for the different providers and CARCHEX was one of the highly rated companies. I called and spoke with their representative who sold me the contract and she was very professional and pleasant. She got the information out to me right away and I felt comfortable with talking to her. Then, I went ahead and bought the warranty. After I paid for the contract, she said she was going to mail it out. She sent me a sample then I looked at that and I've gotten the hard copy package mailed to our address. So, we're good. I'd recommend them.

I bought a vehicle that is in a very good condition but it is ten years old and I could not get an extended warranty from the manufacturer, so I looked into CARCHEX. They have five-star reviews. They also answered all of my questions. Shane, the salesman, was very good. He responded, was very efficient and effective as well. Having a vehicle protection plan is very valuable especially with the car that I bought. It's a Mercedes and their repairs can be pricey. Overall, my experience with CARCHEX was very good, easy and painless.

I've had good luck with CARCHEX in the past through their dealer refill program and they were a Carfax recommended vendor. I have an expensive car to maintain, and it was pretty easy to purchase the protection plan from CARCHEX. Corey, the young man that helped me, was very knowledgeable and he wasn't pushy at all. He sent me the information I asked for, and then he let me make my decision. Once I chose the policy and we had the car here, I called them. Corey wasn’t available then, but they got somebody on the line that pulled up his notes and they had me done in 15 minutes. The process was very efficient.

My car's warranty had expired and it's not an inexpensive car to fix if something goes wrong on it. CARCHEX's price was within my budget and it was a well-reviewed warranty. It was also easy purchasing the protection plan from CARCHEX. The young woman on the phone was phenomenal. When I asked questions, I definitely got the answers that I needed. I haven't met the requirements yet to even be able to start using the warranty but the sales part and everything else was wonderful. It really was an easy experience, which is good. I needed to find an extended coverage company that would provide the service and the warranty that I needed on my Cadillac and it came down to two companies but CARCHEX was the one that returned the call first. Their customer service rep talked me through the process, stayed on it and got back to me when I had some questions. As I explained myself to him, he figured out what I needed and introduced a different plan that would benefit me better. As far as customer service goes, I would recommend them.

CARCHEX rates are cheaper than the other company I looked at. Moreover, they are local and rated number two when I checked online. Their rep was very professional and explained the major points of the coverage. I went with the Titanium level of coverage but I haven't got the paper yet to see what is covered and what is not. I'm still in the 30-day and the 1,000-mile period.

My manufacturer’s warranty was expiring and I turned to CARCHEX for extended coverage after a friend recommended them to me. Having a plan would help a lot when I need to call if I ever have a problem. The CARCHEX rep broke down the protection plan and told me everything that was going on with it. My car’s keyed off and it still has a low mile light. Getting a car fixed nowadays is expensive, and I did not have a warranty on it. So, I looked into acquiring an extended coverage for it, and CARCHEX got rated as number one on an internet survey. So, I purchased a protection plan from them, and their rep was pretty thorough in explaining the bronze, silver and gold packages. He gave me different plans and prices and I went with the one that I thought would be the best one. Purchasing it was a lot of money but it was straightforward and I hope that it works out.

I purchased a Mini Cooper for my daughter and purchased the insurance from Carchex. A year into our contract the transmission went out and it went to the local shop that was approved by Carchex. The repair garage was told by Carchex to remove the trans, so they did. Then Carchex refused to pay for the repairs as they said the transmission was not serviced. "Well the transmission in a Mini Cooper is Un-Serviceable. There is no filter or even a dipstick or even a plug. It's a lifetime unit that is made not to service." I told this to Carchex and they told the repair garage to disassemble the transmission, so they did.
Then they denied the claim as they said it was low on fluid. I have a letter from the shop that says it had the right amount of fluid in the transmission. I called again and they sent another person out to look at it and it was denied again as they now say the clutches were burnt. This Mini Cooper has no clutches in it and I was shown by the mechanic it was not burn and the oil had no burnt smell to it either. At this point it had been in the shop for 5 months trying to work with Carchex.
I turned it to the Attorney General's Office here in Idaho for them to try. After 3 months of them trying The Attorney General's office said that I would need to sue them. As they would never respond to their office. Also as the Carchex works out of another state Idaho Attorney General's office has no pull. You will also find the Carchex is not considered an insurance either so no help that way. My Daughter's Car is still in the back of a shop in pieces with no help. Never ever buy from Carchex, it is the most dishonest company ever. I dont have the 5000.00 to get an Attorney or I would. We are out all the money paid to Carchex and we are also without a car. A transmission for the Mini Cooper is 8,000.00 and we dont have the money for that repair either. So whatever you do don't use CarChex or their services.

The warranty on our vehicle had just ended and so we got an extended warranty. We opted for CARCHEX after my husband did the research and found that it was the second one on the list of the top extended warranty companies. I bought a car and I needed extended coverage. I researched online and CARCHEX came up as one of the higher-rated companies. Purchasing the plan was easy enough. The people that represent them were quick to sell me on whatever the deal was. Their rep discussed the plan I was planning to get as well as what coverage I would get. He was courteous, however, he went through the information too fast. It was a lot of information to try to digest. Although he tried to slow down, I couldn't absorb and digest everything fast enough. Now that I have the plan, I wish I had some different coverages, but that's the way it goes. Having the plan is very valuable. Whether the plan is going to be good or not, I don't know. I've read it from end to end and it seems okay but there are some parts of the language that concerned me whether I'll be covered or not.
It was very confusing with regards to the electronics, like the radio. It also confused me as to what it was supposed to be and the limitations regarding the under-a-dollar-an-hour mechanic charge. These are things that small print comes into and I don't know what my dealer is going to charge. I didn't know that there were limitations. If something is only purple, then only that and if it's only green, only that.
Another thing that troubles me is if I were to have a flat tire, I'm in trouble. The plan says, "We'll send somebody out to a limit of $75 to put on a spare tire that you provide." My car is a 2009 Cadillac CTS. They went with a new way of doing things on that car in that year. It doesn't have a spare tire and they provide a compressor and tire leak stuff that you pump in. If that doesn't work, then I'm really not covered by my warranty to have any protection either. I'm going to stuck be out in the middle of nowhere. I'm a bit disappointed in the little things but hopefully, it's all going to be good.

A vehicle protection plan is very important because if you have a major breakdown, it can cost you a fortune. I just bought a used car and I wanted to make sure I had something, and CARCHEX seemed to be more direct in what they covered. The other companies’ wording in their contract kind of makes you pause. We just purchased a new vehicle so we needed to make sure we can protect it. We looked at GM Warranty and CARCHEX. CARCHEX had a bit more benefit and covered more so we chose them. The application took 20-25 minutes, but I had a lot of questions. The rep and I went very detailed about what their policies covered and what they didn't cover versus the GM Warranty. Had I not had a lot of questions it probably would be quicker. Nonetheless, the rep was really knowledgeable.

I bought a brand new vehicle and it had so much stuff that I didn't want to get more than the normal coverage. I researched a lot on the internet and CARCHEX came up as recommended besides the dealer. In terms of the deductible, theirs was 250 and the dealer's was 200. But their protection specialist was good and he wasn’t pushy. He sent the information on the warranty and had a list to look over and compare to other warranties.

Our company went with the new perks program and CARCHEX was part of it. The warranty on my vehicle has expired so I needed a new warranty and when I clicked on automobile on their website, I saw a warranty. Purchasing was really easy and seamless. Their rep was really good and helpful. He explained everything to me that I needed to know. He sent me out some quotes and when I got back to town I called him up and it only took about 30 minutes tops to get everything finalized. It is very valuable to have a protection plan because you'd hate to be hit with those hidden costs during repair so it gives you a lot of peace of mind. After I purchased my vehicle, I was told the warranty expires at 100,000 miles. And I already have 93,000 miles on it so I bought an extended warranty from CARCHEX. The young lady from CARCHEX I dealt with was was more polite than anybody else and she gave me more details that were more helpful. I also looked at their rating online and it was good compared to the others. They've been in business for a while, too.
When I was purchasing the policy, we did everything over the phone and it didn’t take long. They explained to me that if I have any trouble, I'm able to take my car to a dealership of my choice to get my repairs done and then I should contact them for them to give everything to the dealership. And the dealership will contact them to get all the repairs made for me. With car expenses these days, having a protection plan is very valuable. I was skeptical in the beginning about buying it from any company because of the all the colored stories that I heard about them not wanting to pay for repairs and trying to find excuses out of not paying for your repairs. But, all the comments that I read about it, it was like they did not claim just for neglect of vehicle. And I never neglect my vehicle so, I shouldn't have any problem.

The standard warranty that I had when I got the car was running out and I do not like to drive without a warranty. I went to the internet and then saw that CARCHEX was number one on the list. And their agent did everything that I want. He was really concerned and gave me the best deal that they had. I had a good experience with him. I did talk to several other companies but decided to go with CARCHEX in the end. Overall, with a vehicle protection plan, you do not have to worry if something happens to your car. You know you can get it fixed and you do not have to shell out a lot of money. And I have told friends to try CARCHEX out before anybody else. They are a good company with a good rating. They are number one in my book.

I have a car that’s newer which has more upgraded features in it like bells and whistles so I figured I should look into getting it a warranty. CARCHEX came in top-rated for a place that would do work in California and was considerably cheaper than what Tornado wanted. Their rep explained everything, answered all my questions, left me his contact information and emailed me everything right upfront before I made decisions. I sat on it for about seven days and did some research and took only a couple of minutes to complete the purchase when I decided to do it. The specialist I worked with was positive. He too answered the questions I had, followed it up every other day, and asked if I had any questions. He was very patient and never showed that he was getting frustrated.

I bought the Silverado and Camaro brand new and I had them covered by CARCHEX for a year now. My experience with CARCHEX has been good so far. The guy at CARCHEX didn't give up on me. He'd text me and let me know about the promotion and if my term is running out. He also gave answers to my questions. When the light wouldn’t come on but bright in my Silverado, the salesman submitted a claim to CARCHEX for me. However, it was something electrical that they didn’t cover. I had to cost it out of pocket and it's the same thing with the Camaro, and I wasn’t pleased with that. But when I asked him what they cover, he told me the package deal and I figured I don’t want to replace the motor or a transmission. The experience was wonderful, overall. It's satisfying having a vehicle protection plan and I just recommended someone with the policy.

I needed extended coverage for my vehicle and purchasing from CARCHEX was fairly easy. I just had to do a couple of phone calls and a couple of emails and that was it. However, I looked at the average amount paid opposed to the amount received to pay it out for a year breakdown and it doesn't cover what I paid. Say I pay a thousand bucks and the average payout for an extended warranty is at $700. On average, I have lost at $300.

I have a leased vehicle for four years and it was covered for three. The coverage was running out and I decided to purchase an extended coverage for it. But a lot of providers didn’t offer one-year coverage. I then went with CARCHEX and they were $50 cheaper than some other ones. The price is decent for what the package is supposed to include and the purchasing experience was smooth. They gave me a quote then I went and checked GM and I didn't like theirs to take a look. I called CARCHEX back in and set up the terms with them. Their rep was very knowledgeable and did a great job. There was no pressure. Having the vehicle protection was more of a peace of mind. The truck's only three years old but still, I'd rather put that out than turn around and have something come up for $2,000.

I called CARCHEX to check on my plan, and the gentleman on the phone mentioned that there are some better deals as well so we changed the plan that I had. I couldn't finish the transaction right at that moment so I told him to call me back in an hour which he did. We wrapped up the call. He was great, very courteous, and listened to my concerns. He helped me with everything that I needed, and it was an outstanding experience. The person who handled my account when I first got the service was great as well, and he called me again to renew it. I've had two cars covered with CARCHEX and I renewed twice.
It is extremely valuable to have a vehicle protection plan. I've had to file two claims. I just went to the dealership and they contacted CARCHEX and then everything was handled by the dealership. I had no issues with getting my parts covered, and everything went smoothly. CARCHEX's service has been great. There's always somebody available to help you. They offered the best rate and coverage, too.

I purchased a 2017 used vehicle that didn't come with any type of a warranty. I always like to have some sort of protection especially with these newer vehicles and the electronics on them. While I’m making payments on the vehicle, I like that I've got some option to fall back upon that will cover a problem that I can't control or fix myself. I sent out a whole bunch of flyers and did a little searching around. I don't navigate around very well on computers but, I did what I could do and ended up sending a flyer out.
Apparently, when you did that online, it goes out to multiple little branches or people that have their fingers in it. I got a response back right away from another company which I mistook for the company that I was originally looking at and I went ahead and purchased from them. I found out later on that it wasn't the one that I thought it was and I ended up canceling it. I found out later on, that companies have to be licensed in the state of California where I live so I was limited in that way too. CARCHEX was on the top of my list for a car warranty in California.
Buying the warranty from them was simple and I had spoken with their salesman a couple of different times. I ended up purchasing the vehicle and bailed out of a warranty that they offered also. I reassured him that I want to purchase it but I want to make sure I get my money back before I could jump into something else. He was very good and very helpful. I spoke to him three times and he wasn't pushy at all. He was a great guy to deal with.

I had a warranty when I bought my jeep, but it expired so I shopped around for a new one. I spoke to a specialist from CARCHEX and he was very helpful. I previously had extended coverage with CARCHEX on one of my cars and my experience with them was outstanding. Before that time my extended warranty expired, my specialist, Anthony, started contacting me by e-mail to see if I wanted to get another extension. He kept in touch with me and let me know about the specials. Once, I’ve had some repairs done to the car and I had no problem whatsoever with CARCHEX making the payment. The vehicle protection plan is extremely valuable because the repairs of the cost later depend on what the issue is. I tell my friends how fantastic CARCHEX is.

So far, my experience with CARCHEX has been good. I wanted an extended coverage because I like that extra insurance, just in case. Korry, the rep was so nice and outstanding. I ran into him when me and my mom both purchased new vehicles during the last part of 2017. We were both looking for insurance. My mom had a lot of questions and her schedule was crazy but he was patient, informative and very kind. The information he gave me really helped me have a better understanding of the insurance.
After he explained it to me, I knew it was something that I really needed. He gave me a sense of peace. I'm indecisive and I am a question person. I asked questions, sometimes multiple questions of the same type, just in different ways. His patience meant a lot to me. Moreover, he gave the sense that he really wanted to teach me. He said that he would always be my representative. I liked that I can just call and speak with the original person who assisted me from the beginning instead of dealing with multiple people. I was very satisfied with the services.

If you do not have any warranty, you might as well need to get some in case something goes wrong with your car and you can't afford to get it fixed. A representative from CARCHEX got in touch with me about extended warranty on my 2013 Hyundai Sonata. His name is Bill and he was very nice and pleasant. I enjoyed talking to him. While my car does not have 50,000 mileage yet, I wanted to make sure that if something happens, I will still have a warranty on my car.

Not everybody gets an extended warranty on a car but I made a decision to get one because I intend to keep the car for a while longer. I researched some providers on the internet and looked at various rating groups. Many car warranty companies were sort of fly-by-night but CARCHEX was one of three companies that seemed to get consistently good marks. Their pricing was competitive as well and one of the things they had that was appealing was that you could get your car repaired anywhere and take it to a state certified dealership or car repair. Some warranty extensions wouldn't allow you to take the car to the dealer if you’re not near one.
Their protection specialists were very pleasant. They had a scripted presentation and they talked about all the attributes of the system. Most organizations have a goal to complete the transaction once you call. During the course of the interview, they were trying to assess because in order to cover the car, they had to find out all the various mechanical pieces of it so they could tailor the best car warranty for me. They looked my car up and had questions such as what’s the car, what’s the VIN number or does it have power steering. They also asked me if my car has GPS or a navigation camera to which I replied yes. So, at closing, they gave me the policy and the cost. We proceeded but then their rep said she found a better policy for me that was a year longer and a bit cheaper. I was pleased with that and they wrote that policy for me.
She told me that I’d get my policy in the mail in a couple of weeks and I could go on the web for the meantime and look at the sample policy. I looked at it on the web and the policy had everything she said except it had one provision that states there's an additional coverage if I choose to have a backup camera and GPS navigation system. I had those things but the specialist didn’t mention anything about additional coverage or if I wanted it. So, I called them back when I got their email and told them my situation. I spoke to somebody else who looked up my contract and she told me that I’m good and covered. The price the specialist quoted included the additional coverage and she added it for me. It was what I wanted but she should have told me about the additional coverage that she added.
All in all, my experience with CARCHEX was very congenial. They had me at hello and I won the right policy. They treated their customer as a valued client who they weren’t going to forget as soon as they hang up the phone. And I got the impression from them that they’re pretty reliable and they would be there for you in the event that you need their services. As opposed to others who forget who you are once they got their money and their auto pay set up. If somebody else asked me about getting an extended warranty, I’d tell them to call CARCHEX. They are very straightforward, upfront, and sincere.

I went on ConsumerAffairs and searched for extended warranties when the warranty that I purchased from the dealership expired. Endurance was number one, followed by CARCHEX. Endurance wanted a large down payment that I didn't have at that time. So I went with CARCHEX, and even though I had to pay the premium at that time, the lady that I dealt with was willing to work with me and wait until my pay period and still keep me within what they had quoted me with.
She was very tentative to the customer, explained everything, and sent me the information so that I can read it. She also checked in with me every day, which I appreciated. It was a very easy transaction and I didn't feel like I was rushed. She did an awesome job not being pushy, going over what would work and what wouldn't work and considering my budget and what I can afford. I made a mistake unknowingly online because once you logged in, they already pre-filled the information when you look at the sample and click on the contract. And it pretty much said that I was committing to that plan. But she called me and told me how she knew I didn't want that plan since we discussed it. I told her that I haven't picked a plan yet. So she cancelled it because it was not what I wanted. I also appreciated that.
This warranty is very valuable to me. It gives comfort and reassurance to my nerves that I'm covered since I don't have the money for major parts. This is the first time I've had to do this. Normally, I flip cars, but due to my credit and some other personal things that have been going on, I have to stick with the vehicle that I have.

Due to the age of my vehicle, I decided to purchase an extended coverage to save money if something ever happens to it. I talked to a couple of other providers and I like the CARCHEX salesperson better. He was very helpful and he answered all of my questions. He did a fantastic job. I got their protection plan two days ago. It's really very important to have a vehicle protection plan. Therefore, I would just recommend CARCHEX to anybody else. I had a great experience with them. The price on it is good and it has great coverage.

I don’t have many miles on my vehicle and I’m not going to trade or sell it because I wouldn’t get enough for it to make it worth my while so I figured I’d try to get an extended warranty. CARCHEX has better ratings at Better Business Bureau and then they told me that they were administered by another third party. They also said they were insured by another company and when I looked up online and saw the ratings, they sounded pretty good to me that’s why I went with them.
I had a good experience with CARCHEX. They treated me nice and talked to me well. So far, I haven’t gotten the policy in the mail yet but all are great. Purchasing a vehicle protection plan went really easy. I just told them what I wanted and they told me what they could offer. They gave me the price and I had checked with some other companies and thought that was a pretty good deal. Having a vehicle protection plan is valuable considering the type of vehicle I have because it’s a Hudson Diesel four-wheel drive Crew Cab. If something goes wrong on it, it can get expensive. Overall, I am satisfied with CARCHEX.

I bought a used car and I was worried that it was going to break down later on. I’d love to put the warranty on it, so I don’t take hit in the back. It’s an insurance policy when something bad goes with the car. Usually, it’s the engine and transmission, the most important things in the car. When those two are messed up, especially the electronics, the car won’t turn. Purchasing a plan from CARCHEX was easy and convenient. I'd recommend giving them a try.

When the warranty on my vehicle had expired a couple of years ago I got an email from CARCHEX inviting me to consider doing an extended warranty. I spoke with someone on the phone and he was very nice. He answered all my questions and explained everything. Most recently I talked to Shawn and he was very helpful. He explained things to me, followed up with me and was able to give me a little bit of a price break. My mechanic also had to deal with them on a couple occasions and I think those went smoothly as well.

I had coverage through CARCHEX before and I talked to their people about getting the warranty again. I had to get the Platinum this time as I couldn't afford the Titanium like I had before, and it was a little bit different on stuff. They did not explain a whole lot and they just sent me the catalog. Also, I had a problem the first time when I had to use the warranty since they wanted me to use some generic part that didn't have any warranty on it. So, we went and got the parts from Ford. I didn't like that and that aggravated me. Nonetheless, having a vehicle protection plan is good with the new vehicles.

I bought a very expensive used car then I went on the internet and looked at the reviews for coverage providers. The ones for CARCHEX were all great. They’re a competitor of Endurance and at the end of the day, I listened to the reviews, spoke to the CARCHEX rep that I went to, Julius, and ended up buying a policy from him. He was so nice and I liked his demeanor as well as his knowledge of the product. He sounded very believable and I believed him. Also, the process of purchasing the extended coverage was very easy. A vehicle protection plan is extremely valuable. It’s a great thing to have but hopefully I’ll never have to use it.

Bill, the CARCHEX sales rep, kept following up with me without pestering and seeing what else I needed to help make the decision in buying the protection plan. That was good. I did everything over the phone with him. He was great. He just made it. I have no problem referring people to him. There was no pressure. I’m in sales too so I know the difference and he just answered every question. He was very professional. It was never like we got to do it today or the bargain goes away thing so I went with him. Now, I know how it all goes if I ever got to use it and Bill said to call him if I got a problem. So I got his direct line number and I respect that. He just did what he should do. He earned whatever commission he gets.

My 15-year-old vehicle only has 53,000 miles on it and I want to keep it for a few more years. However, I certainly don’t want to put a lot of money into it. I saw a CARCHEX recommendation in one of the NEA magazines I received and I thought they would help solve that problem. Getting my plan was very easy. The fellow who handled my call was very knowledgeable and friendly. He did a very professional job in handling my case. The likelihood of a part failing gets more likely the older the vehicle gets, even if it's not used much, making my protection plan very valuable.

I purchased a used vehicle. The very next day I went online to find an Extended warranty for my vehicle. I called and spoke to a representative regarding my vehicle and was advised that with the plan I was purchasing everything would be covered. I started to have problems with my vehicle after about 3 months and took it into the dealership only to find out that the issues I was having with my vehicle were not covered because they were pre existing, mind you I just bought my car 3 months prior.
I request a refund because at this point what can I trust will be covered since I purchased the vehicle used and the warranty coverage I purchased to make sure I was covered doesn't cover anything. I was told I would receive my within 45-60 days from the date of cancellation. I cancelled my policy with them on 10/20/17, as of today 1/16/18 I still do not have my refund and when I call to find out where my refund is I just get transferred to voicemails and no one has any answers. So BUYER BEWARE. THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF... SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FIND A MORE HONEST COMPANY.

It's nice to have a warranty instead of coming out of pocket every time something happens. For my last warranty, I had a few wear and tear items that I needed to get fixed. That was a decent amount of money. I didn't want to run into that and not be able to fix it. I did an internet search and read all the reviews. CARCHEX had a few options come up. They had a lot of plan that you can take and thing that you can eliminate. It was like more of a versatile plan, and that was why I liked it. CARCHEX called me and we went from there. I did a comparison online based on my car and what I needed.
My representative, Eric, asked me information about my vehicle and what I would need covered. I told him what I needed so he gave me at least three plans to look at. It took me a couple of days to look at it. I had to do my budget to make sure I could afford it. We had probably a 20-minute conversation the day I purchased it, with me asking questions and him answering them. Everything I asked him, he either referred me online, or sent me or answered it personally. He was clear. It was phenomenal customer service. He wasn't just like "take this or leave it".

The process of signing up for CARCHEX and their price were great. And Bill, their representative, did an outstanding job in helping me out. He was very courteous and professional, and he always followed up with calls if I couldn't handle the information he required right at the moment. He had great communication. He gave me the plans I wanted, which was a big plus. And he gave me certain discounts that were available at that time, which I appreciate. I had some questions and he answered it very quickly and he gave me really good insights on the overall coverage of the warranty.
It is nice to have a warranty in case something comes up that I cannot fix myself. It would be a great idea to possibly extend all of my vehicles and since I wish to use a six-year extension, it would be nice to have a reliable company. The company I worked for gave me a slight discount for CARCHEX. I just received my package today. And I've been really taking an opportunity to actually use CARCHEX. If I ever come across a friend who needs a warranty, I will let them know about CARCHEX. And I've already told my co-workers that it is available out there. So, they're aware of it.

Having a warranty is really important because if your car breaks down for any reason and you can't afford the high maintenance, it is there so that way you won't have to pay an arm and a leg just to get something fixed on your car. I signed up with CARCHEX about two weeks ago. The rep was nice, kind and respectful. He provided me with the information that I needed and got straight to the point. He didn't sugarcoat anything and he was reasonable.

When I bought my vehicle in June, I wanted to make sure that I have extended coverage if it breaks down and I don’t have the money to cover it. It’s been a week since I signed up with CARCHEX. My car is expensive and I don't want to pay for it. But one of the reps upped and left and became a crypto trader. And then my warranty went up for about three weeks with no call. But I had a followup call with Keith and he was nothing but knowledgeable and amazing. He did a good job.
The only thing was I had a referral call CARCHEX and he knew what I paid. He had something similar in value to mine. CARCHEX did not help him the way they helped me which was pretty disrespectful towards me and towards the person that I went out of my way to go and give the business to. They can't quote somebody $4000 then drop the price 30% more than that. If I tell somebody about my great experience, they'd expecting to get the same customer service or something that's of similar value and equipment. But CARCHEX quoted him at something and didn't offer to even price match. He ended up not signing with them. If I give them a referral, they are going to make money no matter what. They could at least attempt to bring the money in versus "Here's your quote. Sorry. That's it."

CARCHEX had the best thing as far as mileage was concerned at that particular time. My factory mileage was going to go out at 100,000 miles and I had the coverage for it, but CARCHEX had coverage of up to 150,000. When I changed banks, my direct deposit got closed up and their rep happened to call me back and told me to get back on board. They waived the premium for the first month which sounded good to me. The specialist answered everything that the rep needed to know, professionally, and he told me that he was going to send out the paper that would confirm all the coverage and everything. However, I haven't gotten it yet. But, they did a real good job and I feel satisfied with the way that I was taken care of on the line. Everything that I'm concerned about was covered. I would recommend them.

I was going to buy a used car and I wanted to make sure I would be protected. I spoke to three or four companies and the person I spoke to at CARCHEX exhibited the best customer service in explaining everything, the prices and IN working with me. I trusted him. I had a unique situation and he worked with me on it. He was understanding. I sent them an email over the Christmas weekend and he responded first thing Christmas night or Tuesday morning. Then, we had a number of phone call follow-ups and he was right on the ball. When I said, "Well, I would be available at these times," he was right there. I was looking for something with a little bit more miles and this or that, and he worked out a plan. It was his customer service and there was no high pressure. I didn't feel he was trying to squeeze me on anything. I've already recommended CARCHEX.

I was amazed at how much they actually cover in their warranties. They have one of the best warranties out there. I have had a good experience with CARCHEX so far. Getting an extended coverage is a responsible thing to do. With the computers today, it could be very expensive to get the car fixed. CARCHEX's salesman was nice and wasn’t too pressure-y. He was knowledgeable and knew the contract. The payment, compared to other places, was reasonable.

I want to make sure that I'm covered all the time and CARCHEX seemed like a good company. Back in April of last year, someone called and asked about what kind of truck I had. They then told me what kind of warranty they would give. Their rep was nice and went over everything. He was very professional. I had one claim with them in October where they took my car to the dealer and I just paid for roadside. I had to put a water pump on and that was under warranty.

I was curious what CARCHEX covered and if it is worth it to have one. CARCHEX turned out to be valuable. They had a good price and the rep that I talked to was knowledgeable and was very pleasant to deal with. He was very helpful and they’ve already sent us our paperwork. They’ve owned the ball over there. The specialist was very professional and courteous. Having the protection plan gave me peace of mind because I can’t afford a motor if it was to go out. CARCHEX contacted me when I put in an inquiry. Then, I purchased an extended warranty from them for my 2014 car on the 29th. That same evening, I ended up trading my car in so I went back and forth trying to get a refund from what I paid that day. I kept trying to get the right people to tell me what's going on and a guy told me that I should have a refund today. I checked my bank account but it was not there. I'm still waiting for them to do what they said they're going to do.

I have my car for over a year and I know it would be a hard problem trying to fix it. And one day down the line, I’ll need a warranty to turn to. My warranty just went out, and although my car has been running good so far, I’m trying to make sure I have a backup plan in case something would go wrong. CARCHEX reached out to me. And I like their offers. It was reasonable and they accept all car problems except for minor things.
I purchased my plan from CARCHEX over the phone. And their rep, Anthony, explained everything to me. He was generous about the policy and it helped out a lot for me having a policy. He gave me the lowdown on policies if the car needs to get fixed. And I’ll be able to get a rental car if it would have major issues, and I just have to pay a $100 deductible. I'm just waiting for my packet so I can really go through everything to make sure what it entails.

CARCHEX was more reasonable for us, and they were offering the same thing that the other people were offering. I had a good customer rep. He was very polite and explained everything to me. He was really concerned about my purchase, what the best for me was and the model vehicles and miles that I had. When I was asked the first time if I wanted to purchase, I told them I wanted to think about it. And I was pleased with the customer service. It took me about a week to think and check around. But I finally went with them. CARCHEX is going to come in handy because it is always good to have some kind of protection on your vehicle with the cost of repairs these days. I would recommend them.

I talked to CARCHEX's rep, she went by the name of Nikki. She was very good and very professional. She explained everything and what they covered, like the amount and how much per month, and gave me all the discounts she could give me. The only part I still don't like with them is it has to be 30 days before it becomes active. On top of that, you have to do 1,000 miles. They really kind of turned me off. I could do the 30 days, but not put an additional 1,000 miles on my car. The process wasn't hard, but I found someone better.

CARCHEX was cheaper than a different warranty that was offered to me and people should get a warranty through them. I have the extended warranty coverage on my vehicle and my husband was also interested in one because his warranty expired. When I called, the representative gave me a couple of quotes and he explained the plan from top to bottom to make sure that we understood what we were getting before we opted into it. He was very helpful with doing that. He also told me that once I made my decision, I can call him back with the debit card information. I called him back and we played phone tag for a few minutes but he called immediately back and we got it done. Once, I also called to ask for someone else and the representative advised me that that person was in a different department but he was more than willing to help me. His customer service skills was great so that was a plus.
I had to get an oil pump because my transmission was failing me. I had to get my vehicle worked on at the beginning of last year and near the end of 2017. The work has already been done and paid for. The plan actually paid for itself as far as getting the repairs done. I wouldn't have been able to afford the major work done to my vehicle if I didn't have a warranty. Only paying that $100 deductible worked in my favor. The claim was also submitted through the third-party administrator who I have the actual warranty to contract with. I just took the vehicle to the dealership and told them what was wrong with it. Then they handled it and there wasn’t any legwork that I had to do.

When I looked at external ratings on websites, CARCHEX had higher ratings and they seemed like a better value too. I contacted someone before I made the purchase online and Tommy was very friendly. Then I purchased the coverage over the website and it worked fine but I also talked to someone afterwards to verify the setup. It’s an online contract so that was more important to me.

We bought a used vehicle that still had its warranty, however, it lapsed while we were in the middle of moving. We didn’t get to renew it so we needed something to cover things. CARCHEX's rep was very cordial and professional. She was easy to deal with, with no high-pressure sales. Moreover, I could understand them. We gave her all of our vehicle’s information and she was quick in getting back to us as far as what was available for our vehicle. It was very reasonable. They were thorough and there were no discrepancies, Johnny-on-the-spot. I received an email almost immediately and they wanted my business.
I just got the plan and we haven’t had to use it yet, but it's definitely something valuable to us. I know we'd be dishing out thousands if the transmission line or the rocker arm went. Those are some things that are not covered in the plan, since for the rocker arm, the mechanic would have to totally disassemble the engine to get to it. It's at $80 or $90 an hour for that sort of thing. We're on a fixed income. Both my wife and I are disabled and we're living on a budget. It's definitely something I could fit into the budget and definitely something needful if something happened.

There was no warranty coverage from the dealer and they couldn’t finance the extended warranty. I used up all the finance room to finance the vehicle. I like my salesperson at CARCHEX and he explained extended auto warranty more than anybody else did. He went more into detail about what the coverage is so I felt I had a better understanding with this CARCHEX. It was a bit more money but I understood what I was buying more than just spending my money and not knowing what I’m getting out of the deal. I didn’t have time to keep calling them back and ask questions. He laid it out there already and that way, I felt I can spend an extra amount of dollars on this product.
When I asked him a question, he knew how to answer it but a lot of the questions that I would have asked were covered before I had the chance to ask them. I asked the questions that I needed to ask and everything else that he said was extra on top of it. What need to be covered was covered, like the drivetrain, the engine, the transmission, the powertrain, and the AC. The heating is not covered and the competition wouldn’t cover it either so I didn’t make a big deal out of it there, and that’s another question I wanted to ask. Why don’t extended warranty companies cover the heating?

I was getting tired of spending odds and ends here and there on the little things breaking on my older model car. I called about three to four companies and CARCHEX came in at a pretty good price point. They had a great coverage. I've also read the reviews from consumers and they were excellent. I called in and asked the questions that I had.
The guy I spoke with was very thorough. He went through the entire comparison model of the two different packages that I could go for and then I told him which one I wanted to go with. He also explained the actual process and how the handling goes if I were to process a claim. The whole waiting period was about 60 days and he told me what to expect. He was very patient as well. He actually emailed me the comparison charts so that I can actually look at everything before I signed up and paid with my money. He walked through it slowly, while the other company that I called was walking through the process entirely too quick for me to be a purchasing transaction. So that was a huge turn off for me and a turn on with CARCHEX.
I've had cars that were brand new and then, have them for years and put so much money into them so having a vehicle protection plan is extremely valuable, especially if I want to keep the maintenance going on beyond any factory warranty. It's super important, cost-effective and totally worth it. It's very beneficial for sure.

I didn’t have warranty left on my vehicle and I know that some of the things can be very expensive in a couple of years, which I didn’t want to pay for so I got an extended warranty. I got an email from CARCHEX and I liked what I saw so I got them. Their rep and I have been working together for the last month trying to get me to get it, and I wanted it. I just had to make sure the time was right and the money was available and I got lucky I caught him right before the new year so I was locked in with last year's prices. I’m covered from bumper to bumper, my 100,000 miles, and that’s awesome for me because I’ll be done paying for the car and still have warranty left. I haven’t had the chance to use the warranty yet but everything I’ve been explained to and read is all in black and white in front of me in the packet which I got yesterday. I like that I’m taken care of by CARCHEX if something goes wrong, so I would recommend them very highly to anyone.

I’ve been with CARCHEX for a while and I haven't had any issues. I'm in my third year and I’ve had several vehicles with them. If I had a claim, they took care of it. The claims process was easy. I did what the book said and I did what they asked of me. I had an issue, I filed the claim, I took it to a reputable dealer and they resolved it. They work around and they do what they can in getting what’s best. There was a time when I could not afford and I had to cancel out, but CARCHEX worked with me on that. There were a few times when they drew money out of the account that cost me some overdraft, which they fixed immediately. Everything has been great thus far and I have recommended some people to them. If anyone is looking for a company that’s reputable, on point, takes care of the matter, listens and works with you in any instance, CHARCHEX is a company that they need to look into.

I initially purchased CARCHEX five or six years ago so I just rolled the coverage to my most recent transaction. CARCHEX was listed as a provider of after-warranties on cars not through the dealership, so it was a bit more competitively priced. I spoke with the rep, Julius, and he was informative. He followed up with me even when he didn’t have to, and that made it easy to sign up with CARCHEX as opposed to me having to go out and seek stuff on my own. I haven’t experienced going through the claims process but everything has been relatively simple. The vehicle protection plan is certainly a trade-off, and I’m happy to have it especially when planning to have the car for an extended period of time. It's for peace of mind and it helps with the financial risk if something happens. I would pay any kind of money to not have to worry about the car.

In August 2017 I purchased this extended warranty for my Audi that I had. The car was totaled during the hurricane. Not to mention that in the earlier part of September I brought the car to the Audi dealership for a tune up and there was something wrong with the engine. Needless to say the claim was denied. Then it was resubmitted and the adjuster did not come for 4 days. I ended up paying for the repair and cancelling to policy. I spoke with a cancellation rep named Andy who sent me the form to sign and send back. It was confirmed that it was received.
This is January 2018 and the funds continue to be withdrawn from my account. I then spoke back to Andy and now he states he never got the form back and he now wants to see that the car was a total loss. All forms sent in again and confirmed and another payment taken from my account. A refund should have been put into my account but, money continues to disappear. I have paid almost 200$ in fees from my bank. Do not get this warranty. They are not on the up and up. I will be contacting consumer report.

I looked at CARCHEX up on the net and it is said that they were the best. They gave me an estimate and explained the coverage but I put it to the side for a while because I had to evaluate the cost-benefit relationship in regard to my car and whether or not I'd normally trade in around five years. But, our Prius has been so good that my wife and I, after discussing it, decided to keep it. I finally decided to get the extended coverage in late December because then I would go into the next year. The rep was adamant in trying to secure the sale. However, he wasn't overbearing but he was tenacious and I respect that. They also tried to be helpful and they did well. I'm hoping that what I read on the net about it being the top provider is true if I should have to use it.

I wanted to make sure that if anything happens to the car it doesn't have to be put down. I purchased a warranty from CARCHEX. I spoke to someone and they were supposed to be sending me some papers in the mail but I haven't got them and that's been over a week ago. The protection specialist was fantastic. We had a great conversation on the phone and we talked like we knew each other from way back.

When I looked it up, it did say that CARCHEX was a really good company, and the model of the car was a few years behind. The rep did a really good job explaining everything to me. He broke down all the package plans that they had and he chose the one that best fit me. I got the silver package, and I signed up over the phone, so it was pretty easy. However, I cancelled the service in a few days because when I went to see the vehicle, it didn’t even start so I already have a problem.

In order to get signed up, they got my debit information as well as my address. Then, they sent me something through my email and told me to look for something that might come in my mail. My car warranty has now expired so I looked into CARCHEX and got them. They are the longest, they have the best geo and they will cover beyond a hundred thousand miles. The protection plan was easy to purchase and I spoke to a sales associate named Tammy. She was great and was really listening. I had to make a choice to either rely on the vehicle I had or look at a newer vehicle. I'm in a better spot to make sure that I get coverage for the "just in cases" because this vehicle that I'm getting coverage for is going to be 15 years old this year. I looked at all the reviews for all the different companies and CARCHEX seems to have the best reliability.
Purchasing from them was fairly simple. It was just a matter of providing the VIN number, the mileage, and the payment. The person I talked to was very persistent in trying to get in touch with me but once we linked up, it went well. He explained everything in the detail, the detail that I required for the questions I had. I was confident that I knew exactly whatever I was getting so I went ahead and made the decision to go forward. Having the plan is invaluable. Just in the last year and a half, I've already put close to 3,000 in repairs myself. But none of that was for the engine or transmission. It was just for small things but it crept up. When those issues come up, you have to have them fixed. I'm grateful that they're there.

I compared all the policies and prices and Carchex covered more. Plus, purchasing their protection plan was very simplistic. I talked to them for about a month ahead of time but I told them that I needed to check out everybody else before I get started. I had to apologize because I didn’t have time to do my due diligence and I called them back on another date. Their rep was always good and respectful, though. Everything worked out and it was a smooth transaction. I bought the three-year plan and it was the best fit. I had a great experience with this company.

I was told by my new service that CARCHEX wouldn't cover anything. It was a circus of BS. They wanted test done and if they didn't like the outcome I'd have to pay for the tests. I ended up paying for repairs that I was told after they would cover. It seems like a scam.

My company offers monthly perks and CARCHEX was one of the companies that was on it. I recently purchased a car so I needed to get a warranty. It seemed like they have a thousand different options. The rep I dealt with to help in choosing the plan was nice enough about it, but it wasn’t really easy. Every time I wanted to figure out a different scenario he goes back and punches all the numbers again. He was happy to deal with and did a lot but it would be great to be able to see all the options and the prices more or less immediately. He was very professional, nice, polite, happy to help me out, and surprisingly not super pushy. He called back a number of times to check in but getting the car took longer than I thought so I wouldn’t be able to purchase it until I actually had the car. I am a person who looks more or less to the best deal and I would recommend friends to look at them.

I was only given a 90-day warranty when I purchased my car. A friend of mine who had CARCHEX told me to get them as well so, I did. The rep was very polite and kind. He broke down what the vehicle protection plan covered and took care of me the best way that he could. He said that it would take between seven to ten business days, but when I checked the mailbox, I still didn't have the plan. This is my first time dealing with them and I hope that I do further business and carry on. If anybody comes to me with a 90-day warranty like I had, I will refer them to CARCHEX.

STAY WAY FROM THEM, In 2015 I bought insurance with (Nick **) for (Chevy Van 2005 express 2500) I believed and I trusted everything in what he said because it seemed to be all true. Everything seemed to be great until my car broke down in October 2017 the engine broke with 186,000 miles and my life became a nightmare with these guys. My car stayed 2 weeks in the workshop until they sent someone to make the report and see what caused the break. They did not pay rented car for me in those two weeks, and in the end they said they would not pay for the repair because it was a lack of maintenance. ALL the maintenance was done on time, and the receipts were presented.
This car was bought used and I cannot guarantee the maintenances before me. After the purchase I always did and I took care very well. In the end I paid $ 500 from my pocket for the workshop, and the car was taken to the trash. I paid $ 2300 to Carchex, they did not pay for the car concert, and they did not give me back the money I paid them. "Drew **" is a liar. He guaranteed they would return the money and never returned. Today I'm without a car and without money.

I own a 2013 Cadillac and the warranty on it was running out. I don't plan on trading it in and decided I had better put an extended warranty on it. Otherwise, I would be paying some high-end repair bills if something ever happened to it. I checked what CARCHEX covered and read the Consumer Report on them. Then I called CARCHEX to find out if they were as good as the Consumer Report said they were.
I had some questions about some of the options. I have a lot of computer components that needed to be covered and their rep said that everything would be covered. If not, they'd make sure that was all written in the contract and taken care of. The gentleman who waited on me was very nice about the whole thing. I got my policy last Saturday and I went through it. Based on what I've read so far, it looks like they took care of writing everything in. The gentleman also said that when they send the brochure out, he’d put his card on it and to call him if I had any problems. So, if I find out that everything he said that was supposed to be in there is not there, I'd call him back and ask him. If I don't get the right answers, I've got 30 days to cancel the contract and I will. But from what I’ve seen, read and talked with the gentleman about, I’d recommend CARCHEX.

Having extended coverage for my truck is the most important thing to do especially since my warranty expired. I called CARCHEX and spoke to a gentleman named Anthony. He called me back after I had made the initial inquiry and he's been keeping in touch with me ever since we made the initial contact. After about four weeks, I reviewed all the other companies and some companies were a lot less than CARCHEX. But CARCHEX offered a more comprehensive package and it was easier for me to make the decision to go with them. I'm also trusting the judgment and the advice of the CARCHEX specialist, Anthony, who I spoke with about writing a policy.
The specialist was very calm and wasn’t trying to sell me the policy but more or less explain the features and benefits of the policy. He seemed like he was very knowledgeable about what he was talking about, and it made it a lot easier to make the decision to go with them based on his recommendations of certain things. He didn’t try to sell me the most expensive thing and he was very understanding. He went ahead and did a price match on one of the competitors, and also tried to accommodate my needs that fit within my budget and he was good.
I have to call CARCHEX back after 30 days or 1,000 miles. I've always had vehicles that had a warranty period but this is the first time I'm getting an extended warranty outside of my dealership. It's a little bit nerve-wracking sometimes because you don’t know how good it is. I'm hoping the relationship that the rep and I have established in this short period of time is one that’s going to be a long one and that he actually meant everything that he said.

The guy I bought the car from years ago said I might want to consider getting an extended coverage because even though my car doesn’t have any miles on it, it is 11 years old. The car I’ve got is a ’07 with 56,000 miles on it and I ended up spending $2,000 last month on it, so I did it. The dealer cost was a little high so I started checking into it and called in CARCHEX because they have good reviews. Their application process was easy and one of their employees named Leon was helpful and he answered all my questions. He was very good and accommodating. Everyone at CARCHEX was very professional and their customer service was great. I feel like they're going to be a company that I’ll use in the future.

Carchex had clear warranty description, good customer service on calls, and has been very easy to use with minimal amount of my time required in the warranty process. I've had Carchex warranties in the past and they've exceeded my expectations. They were extremely easy to work with and the pricing for their new warranty was competitive as compared to all the other companies I've checked with. There were a couple of complicated repairs on my last car and Carchex worked directly with the garages. I’ve had other warranty companies in the past where I had to get involved and steward that warranty interaction. With Carchex, it was just as simple as me just writing my deductible check and the work got done.

I bought a vehicle that didn’t have any warranty on it. When I asked the finance guy at the dealership if there was any extended warranty available, he said that a warranty on that car was going to cost too much and that he wouldn't even bother with it. But he would not be the one driving a car for five years without a warranty, so I went ahead and checked into it. I talked to a couple of extended coverage providers and CARCHEX gave me the best price and payment. Purchasing the vehicle protection plan with them was easy and their specialist was pleasant. He knew what he was doing. But he told me that the coverage wasn’t enforced until after 30 days or 1,000 miles. But when I got my paperwork, it said 30 days and 1,000 miles, so that was confusing. Other than that, I feel more secure in the car knowing that I have the warranty on it now.

I asked Shanita ** MULTIPLE TIMES to confirm that your warranty was superior to other companies, I was told that other companies replace with 'non-oem manufacturer parts' but CARCHEX uses "the same part taken off your car is replaced with the same manufacturers part" IE: OEM parts! I was told that I would have no problem taking my car to my local Mercedes dealer, that my replacements, if needed, would be placed to a test of wear and if approved would be replaced with "THE SAME PART, not a part supplied by a third party like our competitors." Not only was I informed today while attempting to make a claim that my warranty "only covers 'like' parts not OEM" but that you do not pay for the actual labor hours that my dealer needs to complete the repair!
So I am paying for a TITANIUM policy that doesn't supply the OEM manufacturer parts as I was promised, but the labor at my dealership is also not fully covered... I'm now being charged extra for OEM parts AND extra for the real amount of labor it takes to complete a repair!!!! I'm an architect, specificity is what I do for a living, and I was specific in confirming that my $50 deductible would be my only cost with repairs with my "BUMPER TO BUMPER" warranty, this isn't true. Either your sales staff (quite nice) doesn't actually understand what you offer and misinformed me or she knows and intentionally mislead me. I paid nearly $7000 for a bumper to bumper 5yr/60k mile warranty with service being done at my dealership with original manufacturers parts. That is what I was promised, and that is what I expect to get!

When the extended warranty on the used car that I bought ran out, I got CARCHEX. Setting everything up went smoothly and they answered any question I had. When their cost is workable, the warranty is valued high, but sometimes the cost isn't doable. Then, at one point, I stopped using them but when I got a new car, I got them back. However, their cost jumped up. Instead of the just giving me my same rate back, they based the charge on the mileage of the car.

Having warranty on a car is very valuable, especially for the car that I have. It's very expensive, so it will be crazy not to have one. I called around and CARCHEX kept popping up on the internet, so I gave them a call. The rep was very nice, informed, knowledgeable and friendly. He was great and I acquired their services on the 27th of November. I make payments through my debit card every month, and the company is amazing and great. My experience has been very good.

I would recommend CARCHEX to a friend. We checked with four other warranty providers but we couldn't afford them. CARCHEX called us. They had better coverage and it was easy to cover payments. We spoke with a polite and very professional specialist. They even answered my questions.

Nearly all vehicles nowadays have all high-tech stuff on it so it's worth having the extended coverage once my factory extended coverage ran out. It's to keep everything covered. I had a Chevrolet Tahoe and I almost didn’t carry the extended coverage on it. I decided to get it at the last minute and then the navigation system went out, which was several thousand dollars worth of repairs. So, in a case like that, the extended coverage was very worthwhile. The Carchex rep was really helpful in explaining everything to me when I purchased the protection plan. He was friendly, showed me all the different policies, and there wasn’t any high pressure.
The only complaint that I had was when I had to process a claim with them and took my vehicle to the dealership. In this case, it was a diesel truck and they wouldn't pay the full amount of the dealership's cost. If there was aftermarket cost, they would only pay for that so there was some cost that I had to pay out-of-pocket. You would think that if you took a vehicle to a GMC dealership, that they would want to pay General Motor's costs. Other than that, I would recommend Carchex. When a simple thing breaks nowadays, it is expensive to get it repaired so I would highly recommend getting extended coverage.

My warranty was ending and having an extended warranty is very important because I never know what will happen. CARCHEX's price was decent for what I got because I got everything covered. Signing up was easy and simple and I had a good experience. The person I spoke to was very courteous. I would recommend CARCHEX.

We changed vehicles and we were given a price at the dealership for an extended coverage. We tried to find something other than what we were offered at the dealership and CARCHEX seemed to be offering what we were looking for. Also, their prices seemed to be very good when we started talking about it. There was a problem with the CarFax but once it got straightened out after a few days, it was very easy to purchase the protection plan. Their protection specialist was very good. He knew his products and he answered all of our questions. We bought a three-year plan to make sure we'll not have a lot of money out of pocket just in case something happens because it's a 2011 car. They were very professional and we enjoyed dealing with them. I would recommend them if someone was asking for an extended warranty.

I'm a big warranty guy and when we bought a lease and the warranty was out, I looked online and found CARCHEX. Their reviews were good, and I contacted and moved forward with them. When I purchased the plan, two of their guys helped me and they both followed up exactly when I asked them to. And they were friendly and good and answered a bunch of questions. They were very professional. Some of the terms changed based off of me going over on my miles from when I first got the quote versus when I finally got the policy, and one of the guys was very upfront about it. He told me to call him for some things were changing. I called him and I totally understood when he explained why and it was not a big deal.

We bought a car that has got a lot of fancy electronics on it and it was 80,000 miles. It was out of warranty and I was moving into a phase in my life where I didn’t feel like working on cars myself anymore. I did a search for different warranty companies and a couple of sites rated CARCHEX high, so I got them. I appreciated the promptness of CARCHEX as they got back to me when I submitted a request for an online quote. The phone rang almost immediately and the person I talked to was really clear and articulate with answering my questions.
We discussed a full premium upfront plan rather than a monthly, pay-as-you-go kind of plan, and I ruled out the complete fee upfront plan. It was going to be about $4,000 on top of the price of the car and I decided to go with a five-year plan with two and a half years involving monthly payments and then the second two and a half years are paid up by then. I received my packet a couple of days ago and I’ve been too busy to really tear into it. After the holidays, I’d take a look at that packet and really analyze it before the 30-day cancellation option is up.

I made a purchase of a vehicle from the lot and I was offered an extended warranty. The vehicle I had hadn’t been through that much but I still wanted to be safe because it was a hybrid and I don't that much about hybrids. I know that it's battery-operated and so my biggest concern was if battery stopped working. I also didn’t know that it has less maintenance as a regular gas car. So that’s helpful. I shopped around, looked online, and saw Carchex. I gave a call to get a comparison rate to see what types of coverages they offered and if I could get more coverage for less. I talked to a guy over at Carchex and he convinced me. He gave me more information and it ended up being a better plan for me. He went over some things about the warranty more in depth for me over the phone and he was really helpful.
The only thing was if they're talking to a customer and they are concerned about paying less and getting the most for their coverage, Carchex should suggest from the ground up so they can get a better feel. Carchex should go over the minimum. The person I spoke with started at the gold package. There was gold, platinum, and titanium. There were some tiers below that we didn’t go over. But it ended up working out as far as the coverage I was looking for, so I'm down the good balance. He chose the right plan for me and I agreed with that plan. He handled it really well. He had my best interest and that’s important as well. Overall, I'm very satisfied with CARCHEX. I have already told someone to take a look into CARCHEX when they get a chance because I was able to beat the rate that I was offered at my dealership.

I have a Mercedes and if you ever take the Mercedes in to fix anything, it costs you at least $2,000 for them to look at it. I also have an Acura RLX 2014 and it's a beautiful vehicle. It had 49,500 miles on it when all of a sudden, things started to fall apart for some reason. Every repair was at least $3,500 for the electronic system, for the nav system, and for the rear wheel steering actuators so I figured in the event that I had the same issues with the Mercedes, I didn't want to have to pay that bill, and this car would be out of warranty in February of 2018. It only has 18,000 miles on it, but it doesn't matter.
I looked at CARCHEX and the other one that was recommended when I went online to find who are the top 10. The latter was somewhat elusive. They could give me the information on the phone about what it was going to cost and what the coverage should be, but they would not send me anything in writing through the mail or email until after I agreed to the charges. That was pretty weird that they would do it that way so I figured, "No, thank you." I called CARCHEX and the buying process was simple and painless. Their protection specialist Steve was also very helpful.

The agent from CARCHEX helped me very much. I have a friend that uses them and he recommended it. I also did a bit of research and they were all right. CARCHEX was affordable for us and they would cover the right things. They have excellent service and the person I talked to, Anthony, was a great guy. He gave me all the insights and what was needed. I had several emails before I made the decision and he did a great job. They told me that in 10 to 14 days we will receive the paperwork. The insurance, on the other hand, kicks in after 30 days, so I'll wait until then. My car is an 82-HHR SS Chevrolet and it's a rare car as there is a limited number made. So, having the protection plan is very valuable. Even though I'm not driving it so much, I like to keep it in the same shape as how I bought it. I would recommend CARCHEX. Hopefully, I'm not going to have any problems, but it's nice to share about it.

I'm an older person and having an extended warranty gives me some security. If I'm traveling and on the road, having a coverage is helpful. Someone from CARCHEX called me, and I discussed everything with one of their representatives and decided that I would switch from the company that I had because although CARCHEX cost more, they have a better package, and then I would be getting additional mileage coverage that I didn't have with the package that I had.
The reps I spoke with were pleasant and easy to talk to. They weren't pushy and were patient with me and gave me the opportunity to get the package when I was able to. Overall, I had a good experience. When I asked them to call me back and unfortunately, I wasn't able to respond to them as I have expected it that time. But they called me back at a later time as I asked. I would recommend CARCHEX.

I had a car warranty in the past on a truck I had. I just bought a car and this is the first newer type of car. Both my wife and I would like to have an extended warranty on this car as I can't work on it. I went on the internet and started checking into warranty companies. One guy from CARCHEX called me, and I talked to him. He was really nice and I liked the setup and all. It was very easy to purchase my warranty from CARCHEX and to me, it’s very valuable. The only thing I hadn’t been able to get into is PayLink. I would pay for it and I contacted them by the internet and they said they didn’t have it in the system from CARCHEX yet.
I used to do a lot of work on my own cars but I'm getting older now. Also, my father-in-law lives in Indiana, and we'd like to go up there sometime but I don’t like taking off in a vehicle worried about it breaking down. What we've been doing is renting a vehicle. What I had was not reliable enough to go up there. With CARCHEX, I have a peace of mind knowing that I don't have to worry when something goes wrong. I've paid almost all cash for the car and I had to borrow a little bit, and when I get it paid off, I'm buying a truck and I'm going to buy an extended warranty for that too. I would tell my family or friends to get CARCHEX if they can do it.

CARCHEX's policy seemed like it was the best one that I've seen. The purchase was easy and the plan was very valuable. Ryan, the representative, was very helpful. He was very thorough of what he was explaining. He was excellent in customer service and he was the main reason why I got the policy.
