I'm an older person and having an extended warranty gives me some security. If I'm traveling and on the road, having a coverage is helpful. Someone from CARCHEX called me, and I discussed everything with one of their representatives and decided that I would switch from the company that I had because although CARCHEX cost more, they have a better package, and then I would be getting additional mileage coverage that I didn't have with the package that I had.

Having a protection plan for my car is very valuable. I want to keep my car for as long as I can, and with a Camaro, the parts are very expensive. My current warranty kept declining everything I sent. I work for a security company which uses ADT and they gave us a discount. I checked into CARCHEX and it covers more than what I have now and is cheaper. Their rep was really nice and respectful. He described the warranty in very good detail and was a good guy in general.

My auto coverage had run out, and I’ve been doing some due diligence on the internet trying to find a decent warranty company. I ran across CARCHEX and did some more due diligence on it. The three other companies I called were not really interested in anything but getting the check. They gave me the runaround every time I would try to call and tried to sell me extra coverage. But CARCHEX didn't. They told me what I wanted is what I get. The protection specialist was really professional, courteous, and treated me with the utmost respect. He wasn't trying to upsell me. And I told him I would call him back once I do a little bit more due diligence.

CARCHEX's policy seemed like it was the best one that I've seen. The purchase was easy and the plan was very valuable. Ryan, the representative, was very helpful. He was very thorough of what he was explaining. He was excellent in customer service and he was the main reason why I got the policy.

I've had CARCHEX extended warranty before and I do not deal with people that band-aid things. When I called them, I got the right kind of person to talk to. At first, I thought they forgot me. Then, they called and I gave my credit card. Their rep was excellent. We were laughing and having a good time. He explained a lot of things to me. It's going to take a month for the warranty to go into effect and I will get a notification. My experience has been great.

CARCHEX provided extended coverage for my vehicle before and when the current service was getting ready to expire on my car, I got them again. CARCHEX offers a very good plan and they told me about what was going to expire and how I could get more coverage. Having a protection plan is very valuable given that I have a Saab. But Saab has gone out of business and no longer make Saab. I talked to the guy on the phone for the purchase of the plan and it was easy. He was very friendly and gave excellent service. They have a low deductible too. All went very well and I had a fantastic experience.

I'm very pleased with CARCHEX. My wife has a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe that she bought new and it has a bigger engine. It has leather interior and the car still looks brand new. So when the 10-year, 100,000-mile Hyundai warranty ran out, we purchased the extended warranty from CARCHEX. I watch the car channels a lot because I have a hot rod, and in one of the shows on Velocity, the expert mechanic that has been on the show for 20 years is their spokesperson. No way! I had purchased a car that was an 2005. I had a second car so I didn't drive this one this much. My buddy told me to get a extended warranty cause I bought a ten year old car. I thought about and said thats probably a good idea. I had the car for months without a warranty on it and did some research. Carchex was one of the top google searches. I even looked at these reviews here. I finally purchased a contract for everything to be covered including the engine. My contract did not come with a name like Titanium! Contract was $170 per month and I had made 3 payments... Friggin car starts putting and stops on the side of the road. I didnt even actually know I had towing until after I towed it home then called a few days later. I was just rushed through the contract purchasing process.

I have a 2008 Mercedes Benz E350. I bought it used from a car dealership and I bought a 2-year warranty for it. I bought a Mercedes before and I know that it's expensive to fix if something goes wrong and I didn't like that so I looked into getting an extended warranty. I went online and called the first provider who came up but I didn't like how their rep talked. I then called the second one who came up which was CARCHEX and went with them because their rep was exceptionally nice and answered all my questions. I bought the extended warranty but it just seems like it's awful that you're going to spend $6,000 for two years. It's a lot. But it does cover what I think it should.

I went with CARCHEX and was told I could upgrade or change my package within 30 days. Well towards the end of my 30 days I upgraded to the gold package but was told I would not have to start over my 1000 miles and 30 days but I upgraded and they told me I had to do another thousand miles and another 30 days so I would not be covered for the first 2000 miles and the first 60 days. Then after that they just cancelled me for no reason!!!! I would not recommend this place for anyone unless you want to waste your time and throw your money away. Very disgusted with this place!!! So here I sit 60 days or so later and still have no warranty and got to start over with another company. Beware of this place!!!!

I called CARCHEX and checked it out then I got a nice customer service person. I called him so many times and he was really good. He answered my questions and let me know what was happening as far as the payment plan. He signed me up and the process was simple. It was a good experience and I would definitely recommend CARCHEX to a friend.

I bought a truck that came with 3,000 miles so I wanted to make sure I get a warranty on it. I googled providers and Carchex has good reviews so I went with them. Buying the extended warranty from them was very easy and their rep was very easy to talk to, nice, helpful and knowledgeable. He had all the information that I needed to know and I didn't even have to ask so many questions. He took my truck size and all and I was even driving when I gave my information. He sent over my options and I checked it out the next day and accepted it. For what the warranty costs, it's very valuable. If an engine or transmission goes out, I get money back four times easy and if nothing happens, it's a cheap insurance. I'd definitely recommend it.

I purchased a car and I needed coverage on it so I could make it last. I checked the reviews on CARCHEX and a couple others and CARCHEX has the better offer. It has a lot of bad reviews but it has some good reviews too, so I went with them. Their rep was very informative and explained things to me. I had a problem with getting the payment set up and he worked with me and pushed it back for me. He told me I would be receiving the card and paperwork in the mail but I never received anything. They took the payment and that's the last I heard from them. That was almost a month ago. Right now, things are so tight, I don't know if I'm going to be able to afford it.

Be careful with Carchex. I had an issue and they did not want to sit there and cash out or pay any or help me out towards getting my car repaired. I'm upset and seriously debating on switching this deal. But I already paid it, I have my truck on it. I had to go through back and forth, call corporate and everything and then they didn't do half of what they said they were going to do. I had to come up with $8,000. They only paid $2,200 and it's not even half. It really ticked me off. I kept complaining and complaining and complaining. Even my car technician at the dealership was complaining too. And I only got a portion after I had called corporate.

We’re full-time RVers now and the Ford 250 pick up we purchased not too long ago was to pull our camper in. I had one vehicle protection plan over the years on a number of vehicles. I just got the contract the other day and when I read it, it was a lot less than what I thought I was buying. It only covers internal parts and doesn’t cover any electronics. If my engine explodes, I’m covered, but nothing else is covered. I still have a year left on the factory warranty, so I have a little time. I’m going to cancel my CARCHEX warranty. It’s $160 extra a month and it's never going to be used since it doesn’t cover any of the normal stuff that goes on a vehicle.

Then, I signed up with them again. It took me a little while as I still had a plan left on the car. They just called me a little too early for me to be thinking about renewing. Even now, I still have three months or 5000 left on my vehicle. But they were patient. Whenever I have a question, their reps were there and answered all my questions. The original one I had changed but someone else quickly picked up and called me back. If my car breaks down, I know all I'm paying is the $100 deductible. I recommend CARCHEX all the time.

I had a protection plan on a prior vehicle and it's very valuable. Three years into the thing, my transmission crashed and burned, so it’s very nice to have. My car now has minimal mileage and in good shape but it's seven years old. I want to keep it around for a bit longer and it’s at a point where big-ticket items start to go. I’m retired and on disability, and my retirement check is nowhere near it ought to be. Having the extended cover warranty on a vehicle is nice and I have always done it, but it's the first time I have CARCHEX. It was handy and it came in the options with the papers so I checked it out and found it decent. However, they need to have a nationwide connection where one can call or go online, check out and make comparisons on the whole insurance carriers for the new one, and see if it goes from state to state with a good coverage where it won't try to blow one out with a lot of expenses. Also, when I hit my car and put a little dent in it, CARCHEX didn’t want to pay for it. But it was nothing serious. They’re reasonable compared to other providers as long as one doesn't have to pay exuberant prices.

Titanium 7-year/50,000 mile warranty - This seems to be the right warranty for me. All of the help I received with the questions I posed were answered with clarity and accuracy. I also have the same coverage on my Jeep Compass. I was very pleased to receive the NEA discount. If I have a claim in the future, I hope it is handled with the professionalism.

The experience I had on the phone with your representative was better than majority of all the calls I’ve been on. He spoke clear and fluently enough that I was able to understand him throughout the whole process. Answered all of my questions as well. I do not remember his name, as I thought I wasn’t really paying attention when he told me because I only called to see if I was able to get coverage, not actually go through with it. But I did and I would highly recommend it. For now.

Received my contract and I'm not happy with it. I have tried to cancel it through the American auto shield address that was provided to me. Letter was returned said they moved?? I'm still within my 30 day. Would like my full refund.

Extended Car Warranty on my 2011 Kia Sportage - Julius ** called me. He was very nice and knew what he was doing. I haven't been able to use the warranty yet since I just got it on 11/13/17. Justin was the first one I talked to. I've tried several times calling him. He also was very nice.

The agent was very helpful and friendly. My call was returned quickly, especially for a Sunday! He was very knowledgeable about the subject and guided me through the process quickly and I understood what he was explaining. The price was also very affordable for a 3 year warranty.

My review is limited to the purchase process, since I have not gotten a repair performed. The signup process was easy and I have information emailed to me. The total cost is spread, interest free, over 24 months. The sales rep was friendly, knowledgeable and concerned and returned messages that I left.

I was going to cancel my contract because the Administrator CARCHEX placed me with who was Royal. Was really terrible about taking care of claims. I ended up paying $240.00 more than I was suppose to pay for repairs. My deductible was $100.00 so that's what I expected to pay. They also wanted the dealership to use AutoZone parts. No dealership is going to go out and get AutoZone parts to service a vehicle. To top it off they didn't even refund my money for the rental which was $75.00. They paid me $25.00. This was the second time Royal didn't handle my claim correctly. So I was canceling after I've been with CARCHEX about 3 or 4 years. Had been offered an extended warranty by dealer when purchasing vehicle. Told them I'd think about it. Took some time researching extended warranties. Carchex was one of several who responded. After more research I finally narrowed it down to Carchex and one other. Had several questions and was given a couple of quotes by Carchex with link to a sample of their contract. (Always read the contract on any transaction or you may be sorry later on). After reading through contract I noted pages and line number of a few things I had questions about.

My experience with Carchex has been very satisfactory. This is why I feel comfortable extending the contract. The renewal information was clear. I was a bit unhappy to learn coverage would be suspended for the first 30 days especially since the company has the capacity to evaluate the validity of a repair. Also, the possibility of a rebate for the final year of the existing contract was glossed over. In all other aspects the extension process was clear and well done.

I was told when I bought this contract that if I had a problem take my vehicle to the dealership and the inspector would be out there within 24 hours. But like I was lied to and because when I took it to the dealer they said it could take up to three days for the inspector to get there and they don't pay for a rental car till after the inspector gets there. I'm handicap. Cannot do without my van so I wouldn't have to pay for the rental upfront.

"CARCHEX" lies to you. They told me my warranty purchase covers all electrical parts of my vehicle. But once I finally use the warranty service they deny the claim. Saying (my car's too old). So I cancel the plan. Then they promise me a prorated refund for at least $200 but they only gave me back $70.59. Don't let them fool you! They will tell you anything to get a sale. Plus it took 2 to almost 3 months for the refund which is BS.

I shopped for extended warranty and found this one to be the best available with the interest-free financing and useful coverage. The optional coverage was a factor in my decision to go with CARCHEX. The only reason it is not a 5-star is that the "COOLING SYSTEM" coverage, covers the water pump, but NOT the RADIATOR. The radiator is a major component of the COOLING SYSTEM. Thus, they deny coverage of a MAJOR COOLING SYSTEM component. Other than that, I am satisfied with the coverage and professionalism of the staff.

CARCHEX is the one I’ve had for the last four years. Their rep called me and talked with me about the extended coverage for my vehicle. Purchasing the extended coverage was okay and it was easy. I communicated with their protection specialist just fine. He answered the questions I had about the coverage if it was the same as what I had before. The plan is valuable that if something went wrong with your car, you would want to be able to get it fixed without it costing you a lot of money.

Carfax is disreputable as they made us pay all incurred taxes on repair. On top of that, they refused to pay for an American-made part which is very reliable. I ended up paying for the American part because Carfax refused to pay for new part. They are DISREPUTABLE.

My car have a check eng light for the throttle body. I did not like that the throttle body was not covered in my service contract. I thought I had the best coverage. I have the top plan. I wish it covered the throttle body, but it does not. Too bad it is not.

I got a warranty in April and my O2 sensor just went out and they denied the claim. When I called to ask why it was denied the Rep said because air fuel sensor is not covered. Well, I talked to several different mechanics who all told me the same thing, the air fuel sensor is a newer terminology for 02 sensor. Rep was not helpful or knowledgeable. I had the dealership submit the claim again under a 02 sensor. The dealership said they came back and CARCHEX would only cover 240 dollars!

Upon my returning her call, I was able to express what I was looking for because I had conducted research on my own. I explained that I did not want to speak with a representative without having some facts under my belt. She went through the process in details. I told her that I wanted to make sure the Honda dealership would accept the vehicle service contract. She assured me that they would, but I explained that I wanted them to confirm that fact. The cost was surprising to me. I had to ask several times if I was hearing correctly.

I had this car warranty plan with my previous car, and used it quite a few times in the 4 years. I'm sure it paid for itself a few times over with the repairs to my Pontiac Torrent. The Pontiac is still running strong, thanks in part to timely repairs since I didn't have to save up lots of money to get it fixed. Only $100 for a copay on all work done.
