    Purchased a policy recently for a high mileage car I was going to keep. The next day I decided I was going to purchase a new car and not keep the high mileage car. I call CARCHEX to cancel and was told to fill out a questionnaire to get the cancellation completed. I filled out the questionnaire, emailed it back to the person at CARCHEX, and that person never emailed me the cancellation confirmation that they told me they would do once they got the questionnaire back. I will be stopping the credit card payments and will be letting consumer reports (whom recommended CARCHEX) know of this incident.

    My car has got almost 80,000 miles on it and I intend on keeping it because I really like it. The car's in good shape but I just wanted to be covered just in case. I went online and Carchex had some good reviews and according to those reviews, they were one of the top rated companies. So, I contacted them and the reps made the purchase simple. They were friendly and professional. They spent some time with me and I got some information in the mail, which was the warranty and a booklet on how to file claims and stuff like that. So, it shouldn't be a problem. The rep said the payment plan would be zero interest. It is payable over two years for a four-year warranty and they’re withdrawn monthly. It was a favorable experience with Carchex.

    I looked into the policy of Carchex and ended up getting one. But I talked to my dad and he told me that for the mileage of my car and the amount that I'm driving it, it wasn't a point to have an extended warranty. I went with his advice and I ended up cancelling it. The reps were truthful and answered all of our questions. They told me if I cancel in 30 days, I would get my money back, which I did. So, the whole experience was good and I'd recommend it to somebody else.

Claim refused because it had some gunk in the engine, which is one of those convenient fine print items so they often don't pay out.     I had to call the bank to dispute my refund. They kept sending me to the answering machine then ask you to leave a message and they never call you back. 45mins on hold. Long wait times Get a person and they put you on hold but if you spend money they can process it right away. The bank called them. My money was back on my card in minutes. Dont waste your money 30 days waiting period and a 1000 miles. Your car could break down on the 30th day and you only be at 400 miles and you still can't get your car fixed. Don't get fooled by this warranty true story.

    I bought my car from my daughter in 2016 and the warranty on it has run out. I did some research and Carchex came up as number one and then Endurance was number two. The first salesman that I talked to at Carchex was very pleasant and helpful. He then put the manager on the line to close the deal. I told them that I was considering another company, which was Endurance, and the manager walked me through to get to the Better Business Bureau, because I'm not really savvy on online. And he said, "Do you see where they've had 700 complaints and we've had 70? And do you see that they've lost their Better Business Bureau rating?" However, I felt like he was kinda sketchy. It was not anything that made me not go through with the company, though, because I did purchase it.

    I then paid my first payment with my Capital One credit card, and I had to give the manager all the pertinent information on it. That would have been Monday, a week ago, and then this past Saturday night, my credit card company texted me and asked if I just made a charge for around 43 to Amazon Pay (India) Private Limited. I had never heard of that but it might be something that I have an ongoing payment that I don't know that it's going to them. So I told them I wasn't sure, and they stopped my card. I finally did talk to somebody in the Fraud Department, and they told me about over $200 that had been charged to my card that, thankfully, they didn't do. My point is that, Carchex was one of only two places that I used my card in that week. And I'm worried to death. Capital One is looking into it and I'm hoping they're gonna come up with where were these charges made. But at this point, I don't know who hacked my card.

    Also, I haven't gotten the packet with the information in it. One other thing that I didn't like about them was that I couldn't place a claim until I've ran a thousand miles or it has been a month. I told them that there's no way I'll run up a thousand miles - I go 12 miles to work and back maybe four nights a week. And then, they made it 250 miles and gave me three months to do it. So, that was my only choice. But I had compared it to my friend's warranty and it was cheaper. I got more years of coverage. She only got four and I get six. I only paid for two years and get four years payment free. My monthly payments are less than hers. So, I was happy with that part.

    Got a quote that was over $1000 more than other companies. They kept telling me we aren't the cheapest company because we do things right. Found other people recommending Endurance. Ended up getting a policy with Endurance. Carchex emailed to follow up on my search for an extended warranty company. I replied that I chose to go with Endurance. They responded that Endurance wasn't a reputable company and shared a link to the Better Business Bureau that showed Endurance's recommendation level as N/A and Carchex as A+. What I found more interesting was that on the BBB site Carchex had a user rating of 2 out of 5 stars and Endurance was 4 out of 5 stars. When I pointed that out they then offered me $650 off. I didn't respond.

    Jeremy sold me a contract for reduced rate @ 24 months. Debited 18 month contract for first payment. Tried to contact Jeremy by phone and W **. Finally customer service put me in contact w/ Jeremy (who agreed I was not charged right) who transferred me to Matt. Matt put me on hold (it went to a message to leave my phone number). Never received a call back from Matt. The next day I called c.s. and Matt answered the call! He said he didn't call back because Jason needed to listen to the audio. It would be the next day. Matt transferred me to cancellation dept.

    (Because this is the worst customer service ever, and what if I have issues with my car? I had lost trust in your company to satisfy me.) Drew was pleasant yet he to did not know that the cancellation form in the email says to complete information and MAIL back. (He believed it was all done via email) Drew offer an additional discount but I serious am VERY skeptical of this company and how they will do business IF I ever had a claim.

You are correct you were offered coverage with 24 payments and a discount to bring your payments down to $125.00 per month. Unfortunately, the discount was not entered properly and the financing was set up as 18 payments instead of the 24.

    While we understand your frustration with the process to verify what was said on the call, CARCHEX was fully willing to correct the contract and refund the the $214 payment that was taken in error. In fact, our Customer Loyalty Team offered to refund your down payment and make 3 payments toward your coverage in addition to honoring the original cost of $3000 and $125 monthly payment quoted by our Vehicle Protection Specialists.

    We tried to make good on our offer and make an effort to resolve this on your behalf but you chose to cancel based on the poor experience. Your down payment was refunded back to your account and the coverage is now cancelled.

    I went to a dealership to talk to them about vehicle warranty and I got a runaround and a stupid price. Somebody told me about CARCHEX. I looked them up online, and they were number one in the United States. Their rep was really helpful and told me what it was gonna be, what it covered. I paid more but I’d be happier with it. Their rep was polite and informative. I asked him a question and he answered it. He sounded like he was concerned that I got a good deal. To me, it’s always important to have something like an extended warranty because back in the old days, even with my old cars that I have now, I can fix them myself. But with this 2017 Challenger, I can barely imagine what’s behind the dash with all the electronics and how much it costs. I know there are at least three computers on that car. Changing the oil is about all I do on it, so it’s valuable.

    I’ve used a warranty in the past, on different cars. As a matter of fact, I bought a used car, a Lincoln Town Car ’94, which has a dealership-provided warranty on it, and it was transferred to me. He said if I sell the car and there’s anything left on it, then they’ll send me a prorated amount back. If I have to sell the car tomorrow, then the contract would be terminated, and a prorated amount would be sent back. I like that part.

    I was concerned about my vehicle due to its age. So I shopped around for a warranty and CARCHEX did a very good job of explaining everything. The package I got seemed to be good. But then I had to cancel it because it turned out that my car's odometer doesn’t work. They said for me to get it fixed they would have to use part from something else and then something else might not work. And so that wouldn’t be worth it. That wouldn’t be a good idea, probably, to change it. So, that would make it hard for it to be insured, unless they just did it for a number of years or a time, but they won’t -- as well as with the odometer thing too. Nevertheless, they have been very quick to deal with.

    He notes to me I was sold a contract for Auto Warranty coverage from American Auto Shield. Let me say that had I known I was not getting a Carchex Auto Warranty but rather a third-party especially one as shady as American home or car shield, I would have never agreed or excepted a contract with them. I am now finding out that they have a way of making covered items dropped off. Previously covered items and the adjuster also Denies that he’s been shown issues from one of the shops. They have a very rude and abrasive customer service rep who cannot simply look up the part, nor can they respond to my request for copies of all the paperwork on my claims.

    I I am beyond frustrated with this company and their delay tactics and their tactics to not adhere to their own contract and coverages. I cannot even access my claims information that was provided to them, first on 12/15 by “N park Lincoln”, Or last week's information provided to them by “bring your own parts“, Who gave a line item by line item description of parts and labor and costs. I cannot deal with these morons anymore but I still need copies of the two claims sent into them for the same items on the same car. I need what’s approved and what is not and why. I also need to find out if my rental has been approved As well as the repairs.

    I wasted a week with my car in the shop and a weeks worth of a car rental waiting on these people To give me a decision and instead they used delay tactics, do not pay fair market value for labor and in fact because they would only cover half the charges approved to be covered, I had to move my vehicle from North Park Lincoln and take the time to take it to a second shop. I am done wasting my time and energy, dealing with them. I would be most grateful if you could get the current list of approved items, and email it to me.

    I’ve already been using CARCHEX, and I had it on my other vehicle, and I totalled it. And I’ve been using it for a while, and I like it. So since I replaced my vehicle that I totalled, I went ahead and got the warranty on it because I do it for ride share. The person that sold me the contract was excellent. He called me several times.

    I called on the later half of November and cancelled my policy on the vehicle that I totalled. Then they went ahead and took out another payment in December. And I called and I complained about that because they should never took that money out because they told me they were gonna stop payment on it. They haven’t done anything. I called my credit card company and I filed a dispute with them. And in return for that, I called them back to find out what was going on because I like dealing with CARCHEX. I didn’t wanna have to deal with my credit card company. I’d rather just deal with CARCHEX to get my money back. In the meantime, I’ve already started a new policy on my new vehicle. So I started over again this year with a new policy altogether. The day before yesterday, the guy told me, “Well let me see what I can do.” Then I never got a call back from him. I didn’t know what was going on.

    We had Carchex once before and they were a good company to deal with. They handled our purchase well. The first young person I talked to told me the amount that it would cost to cover the car and it was more than I could budget because we’re on a fixed income. We’re senior citizens. And so, he put a manager on the phone, and after a while, we came to a point where we could afford it. ‘Cause I was really gonna hang up and try someone else, but they were willing to work with me. However, it took almost two weeks once for them to get out, go through the car with the checks at the dealership, to be sure that it needed what they said it needed. And it was inconvenient to not have your car for that long, even though we had a loaner.

    The first assessor that we had seemed like he was a little too anal. We didn’t have him anymore when we had a claim in the future, it was someone else and it went along a lot smoother. It’s hard to blame a company for their employees because you don’t know and they don’t know on day-to-day people have bad attitudes sometimes and the rest of us have to suffer. But it was just one assessor. And we didn’t have that problem anymore. I told people that Carchex was more than fair with us and I would recommend them. I was very highly satisfied with their service.

Everything was alright when I signed up except when they told me it's gonna take a month or 1,000 miles for it to go into effect. That's kinda ridiculous. I didn't know that until after I got my paperwork in. The week after I signed up, I had to put my car in the shop for transmission parts.     I researched the heck out of CARCHEX and according to my research, they are one of the best companies in this area. They did a pretty good job of covering everything that ended up needing to be covered, but it took them forever to take care of things, to approve things and to get things paid. The dealership ended up keeping my car for at least a month, six weeks, two months at a time while I was driving around in a free rental car. It was costing them through the nose but they were so slow and inefficient. My car just sat in the parking lot at the dealership without even being worked on while we waited for the warranty company. I didn't appreciate that one bit.

    Right now, my car is in tip-top shape because I've maintained it so well over the last couple of years that it needs absolutely nothing. We'll see what crops up when it does, and then I'll see what their performance is in taking care of things. So far I'm satisfied and happy with it. The initial claim (a ball joint) was covered, but I had to pay the difference in the labor-rate, because Carchex would only pay up to $100/hr. I take full responsibility for this oversight. I should have reviewed my contract thoroughly, but I missed that ‘Extra Cost Option’. To Carchex’s credit they assisted me is resolving and adding the labor-rate add-on and I was please they listened to my objection and resolved it. So, here the crux of the matter. I believe the Guarantee; the Convenience; but the Commitment component on the claims-end is somewhat muddy.

    The Carchex administrators do their jobs and pay the minimum possible on the claims (again profitability). I have a Cadillac and I will only have it serviced at the dealer. The dealer will only use OEM parts, but the administrator wants to substitute a universal part. In addition, the dealer stated Carchex refused to pay for the full labor hours utilized for the repair. Now, I have to pay two differentials; 1.) OEM water pump and 2.) approximately an hour and twenty minutes of labor; this on top of my $100 deductible; zero saving - more stress.

    Here comes my “the customer is important” part. I believe at some point, the administrator should have acquiesced and paid for the OEM part (or at the very least offered to split the cost differential), rather than put me in a situation where I would be forced to transport my vehicle to an independent repair facility; which does not specialize in Cadillacs.

    I am all for making money, but to what end will I and the other Carchex customers be affected? At times the Peace of Mind component disappears, why? Upon a vehicle failure, you fear your warranty company will not be there for you when you need them most. I truly believe Carchex is a good warranty company; I would love to recommend Carchex to any person looking for “Peace of Mind”. However, I feel in crunch time the Carchex’s Brand Promise should ring true!!!

    The factory struts on my 2009 Audi R8 are leaking, have been for some time. I filed a claim. Royal declined to open it on the basis that, in their determination, the part in question was a shock and not a strut. Internal Audi part memorandums clearly identify the dampers as struts. I went to Carchex, specifically the manager of customer relations, Jason **. He carefully reviewed the information and determined there was basis for a claim. Although Carchex wasn't able to get Royal to budge on its position, they showed their customer loyalty. They even opened their wallet and offered soft dollars toward the replacement of my struts. Carchex didn't have to do that. They could have taken a hard-line stance. They didn't. I'm impressed with what Mr. ** and his team did to prove they stand by the customer.

    You're an Audi owner? Carchex wants your business. You're an Audi R8 owner? They really want your business -- until it comes time to handle claims. Eight days ago Audi Tampa informed me the struts on my car had reached the Stage 3 leakage point, the worst from Audi's standpoint. It calls for prompt placement. I still can't get the claims department to acknowledge that the part is a strut and not a shock. Never mind the fact that Carchex denied a similar claim eight months ago, also due to leakage, citing "lack of part failure" as the reason. They acknowledged then that all four dampers were struts and not shocks. Now they won't even open a claim.

    I went to the director of customer relations and he hasn't been able to get the claims department, which is headed up by Royal, to change its thinking. I can't even get the guy to communicate with me. This has been an awful customer service experience. Carchex had no issue over taking my money. Now that I need the coverage for a part that is covered and badly worn, they have no use for me. That's bad business. I'm taking my case to a higher authority. Do not buy their coverage. They are not reputable.

    According to their records, a request for reimbursement was received from you for repairs to your 2009 Cadillac CTS. The documents received for this request were typed letters from a person writing out the job and a certificate from the individual showing he was ASE certified. The administrator did not receive an actual invoice documenting the repairs like they typically receive from repair facilities.

    Based on the documentation, The Warranty Group/Assurant reviewed the records and denied the reimbursement because the repairs were not done at a licensed repair shop. There are no records of a physical location or licensed business that the administrator was able to verify.

    Everything seems pretty awesome so far. On November 29, CARCHEX wrote me an email for the order confirmation of the contract and there was a slight error in the engine detail on my truck. So I wrote them back and made that correction. I told them that the engine of my truck is 6.7 liters turbo diesel, and not a 6.4 twin turbo. The rep also wrote back that day and said he would update it. I’m still waiting for them to send me the hard copy of the policy. But I got what I wanted, and it was a decent price for what it was.

    Purchasing the policy was pretty easy. The rep was suggesting I buy the Silver Plan, instead of the Platinum or Gold plan. It was $1,000 more. I read through all the coverages and I went over it with them. I had a bunch of questions about and I verified something about the fuel pump. I asked them if it covers the two fuel pumps on the truck, and they said yes. I asked if I could get that in writing and the rep said that our conversation was recorded and that it was verified. I don’t know how long they keep those voice recordings. But it seemed like they were doing their best to try to get me a good plan.

    When I read through all the benefits of the higher plan, it was kinda interesting. With the lower-priced plan, it included the injectors in the fuel system, which was part of that repair that I had to have done, whereas the higher dollar plan included pretty much everything else except the fuel injectors themselves. All modern transmissions are controlled electronically. And the higher-priced plan covered all the electronics like the navigation system, the Bluetooth stuff, and the electric switches. It covered more on the transmission. They have a $15,000 payout on it because it covered all the different suspension parts as well.

    At the time I purchased my CARCHEX warranty, it seemed that they had better reviews. But after I signed up, I realized that the positive feedback is largely related to the sales portion and how their salespeople behave during calls. It's on how they answer questions which is a pleasant experience overall. But then, after that is over and there is a claim, that’s where things really go downhill. Once I decided to cancel, I sent an email and I made a phone call. I was on hold for about 25 minutes and I hung up because no one was picking up. I tried to get the same salesperson to contact me and cancel the policy. That was a couple of weeks ago. However, I have yet to hear back from anyone.

    Purchasing my warranty from CARCHEX was a very good experience. I ended up talking to a couple of different companies 'cause their rep had to call back and forth but still the process went fine. However, there's a caveat in their contract about commercial vehicles and it says full or part time. I use my truck four or five times a year for a side business I have. They should have some clarifications about what would be covered and not covered and whether they would consider my truck commercial or not.

    I noticed that there were a number of recalls on my car, and my car is a 2015, which is a decent year for cars.I have a certain amount of money left to pay off the vehicle, and I'm getting close to paying off this vehicle. And that's usually when things happen to the vehicle. So I wanted to go ahead and be smart about things and proactive instead of reactive. CARCHEX is the only one that I've heard of that actually does what they say they're gonna do and is not a scam. I have a co-worker who has CARCHEX, and she's the only person I've ever heard that had an extended car warranty that she purchased not at a dealership, and it actually was beneficial.

    CARCHEX figured out if I was eligible, what I needed and how long I wanted to keep the vehicle. At first, there was that seller point where, "Okay, we're just gonna quote you for this top of the line package." And I may not want the top of the line package or I may not wanna have to pay for that. So I was like, "Woah, no. I'm tell you right now, I can't afford that." So, they still worked with me to find something within my budget and still get adequate coverage, which is great.

    I'm still within that 30-day period, so I haven't utilized the warranty, but going off of what my co-worker said and off of everything that I've read and that's been said to me, CARCHEX seems extremely helpful even more so than your run-of-the-mill AAA or Roadside Assistance. And it seems like it covers a lot more, except for the wear and tear, and I'm like that's pretty exceptional for a warranty that's after your typical three-year new car type warranty.

    My car had been called a lemon by the dealership and it had things go wrong with it that should never have gone wrong this early in the game. For instance, the computer of the vehicle died and it was 50 to 100 miles before the warranty expired so it was covered. But the brain of your car should not be dead within three years or 60,000 miles. Also, my high-pressure fuel pump went out and they said they have never seen that in a Sedona. They also said they didn't know why mine went out.

    When I talked to the dealership, they said they'd be happy to get me an extended warranty and that it was gonna cost $4,000. I just about choked. Then over the summer, from between May when I first contacted them saying I wanted the extended warranty and they've given me a quote in April, they switched whoever it was who handled their long term warranties and it doubled the cost of their warranties. That doesn't help the consumer and now, I had to handle it. So, I called Kia and they told me to look up extended warranty car coverages online through Prudential and other things. Then I Googled best extended car warranties and CARCHEX was listed on two websites that seemed reasonable. I went to BBB and I checked out some of the complaints about them. I hesitated a little longer because of what I read, but I decided that I was gonna go for it anyway.

    When I purchased the warranty, their customer service was good but I did not like their manager. Despite that, the guy I talked to seemed really nice. I got the feeling that he'd give me this price now but if I'd call back later, it'd be higher. But I already contacted them with the intention of purchasing it, so they didn't have to sell me on it. What they had to do was make it cost-effective with a reasonable payment plan for me to be able to afford it. Still, the rep seemed to bend over backwards to get me a deal that would work for me and I liked him.

    The extended warranty that I have on my vehicle is running out at the end of the year and I did not want to get rid of my vehicle. I did a good bit of research and CARCHEX had good reviews. They seemed to be competitively priced and they gave me a good bit off because I was a veteran. Customer service did a little sales type pressure going on when you don’t immediately buy a contract, but that was pretty normal. They gave you a quote based on the mileage of your vehicle, and then if you wait too long, then you’re out of the mileage. I got to go 30 days or 1,000 miles, so I’m still within that timeframe. I know why they do it, but at the same time, I don’t really need to be called everyday to see if I’m going to buy a contract.

    I had CARCHEX on my vehicle when I first purchased it. I talked to a gentleman originally, and it was a good fit. I recently renewed it and I added another vehicle on it.     I went to have my vehicle serviced when the check engine light was illuminated. I have a 2012 Ford Edge with 107,000 miles that I purchased used 2 years ago when I purchased the warranty. It then already had 92,000 miles. That is why I picked up a warranty. I truly did not realize that I paid almost 4K dollars for a three year 37,000 mile warranty. Well, I was at dealership (Ford) and I was told that I needed a new coil bank for cylinder 1 in my engine. It was misfiring. It was called in around 1015am and service advisor was told that the service would have to be approved and they would be called back. Well no one called back and service advisor had the frame of mind to call them back around 130pm. Meanwhile, I was also waiting at the dealership. That was poor customer service.

    It only cost them $404. Out of the $3900 I paid them plus a $100 deductible. They didn’t lose anything. I have another year left, I will never get my money out of what I paid. I wasted an entire day because warranty company couldn’t call back dealership. They at least arranged for parts while waiting so when the claim was approved they could start working immediately. I would recommend to anyone to set money aside for warranty and use if need for service. For me truly not worth investment.

    CARCHEX's rep misunderstood what I was saying. I wanted insurance for my truck, but they sold me a warranty for getting your car fixed. I sent money out of my account to get it, thinking that I was insured. Now, I'm sitting here calling around, trying to find insurance and waiting for CARCHEX to send my money back. The rep told me to check today and when I did, I found out that I was overdrafted. CARCHEX was only supposed to take out 167.40 and I had $175 in my account, which was enough to cover the cost. I have to call the bank and find out what happened. If I had a newer, up-to-date vehicle, I'd go with CARCHEX because it comes in handy and they keep the car running right. It’s a good company, but I’m looking for something else right now.

    I purchased a car and there were some issues with it so I took it back at the dealer for them to fix it. That's why I was in a rush buying the Carchex warranty 'cause they said that it was almost 125,000 miles on it and it would be no problem. I had to remind the reps that I don't have the car back yet and I had to explore some other options that were also listed at Consumer Affairs. But Carchex' price match beat everybody else by at least $1,000 dollars and got me an extra year and/or 25,000 miles more warranty. It was hard getting some other places to leave me alone because of that. I had to wave two companies off multiple times.     The vehicle I have has a lot of sentimental value and it still runs as good as any 2019 out there. However, before anything comes out the left field and I spend thousands of dollars on anything interior or anything under the hood, I decided to get a warranty just to be safe than sorry.     I had extended coverage with CarShield and I was not pleased with their coverage. When the salesman called me, he told me that my car would be covered from bumper to bumper, except for maintenance side of it like tires, brake pads, battery, radiator, and lights. When I had been with them a couple of months, I asked them to send me a policy. And I found that they had about three pages of exclusions that they didn't tell me about. So I felt that they had not been upfront with me and I didn't want to do business with them. They didn't cover seals, hoses, and anything on the emission system. There were a lot of things that they didn't cover that were mechanical terms that I did not understand. I decided that I wanted to go with a company that I could understand. So, I did some research and I called about six different extended warranties.

    I spoke with CARCHEX and asked them specifically about the things that were not covered in the other extended warranties, and they were covered by CARCHEX, so I went with them. Also, the sales representatives were nice, efficient, and patient with me. They called me back. They checked with me too. They were good follow-up people. They were very polite and they seemed like they knew what they were talking about. I told them my experience from CarShield and they assured me that that would not be the case with this company. The representative went above and beyond. He gave me his name and personal extension number. He said if I have any problem, I could call him directly so I don’t have to call the company.     I wanted to go ahead and get Carchex again in case anything happened to my car. I've seen some other companies at auto shows but I went with them because I trusted them.     I purchased a car warranty from Carchex in late September. Their sales rep, Dallas, was my original rep, but he gave the phone to his "Sales Manager" to try to close the deal with me. Eventually, the Sales Manager and I agreed upon the Powertrain Plus warranty for 100k miles/5 years at a monthly price of $185 over 18 months. I know for a fact that is what we agreed upon because I checked everything and took studious notes. He also said I could just call back and cancel anytime within the first 30 days and he will "take care of me". So, I agreed to have my card charged for the first month's payment of $185.

    But when I received the contract in the mail, the payment terms state it is $185 over 24 months instead of 18 months, as I had agreed to. This means my total contract purchase will be ~$1,110 more than what I agreed to! OK, I figure that was an honest mistake. So I call Dallas to have it fixed. He doesn't pick up so I leave a voicemail. I email him, he doesn't respond. I call again the next day and leave a voicemail. Call again the next day, leave a voicemail. At no point has he returned my calls. I call the customer care line and they just forwarded me to Dallas, who again doesn't pick up so I leave a voicemail. This has gone on for about 10 days.

    Today I finally get Dallas on the phone and explain that I want the contract payment terms reduced or I want to cancel. He says he's forwarding me to "Customer Loyalty". Guess what? They don't pick up. I call again, no answer. I now realize that the pushy "Sales Manager" must've been lying to me from the start and tried to pull one over on me. JUST BE HONEST AND EITHER GIVE ME THE PRICE WE AGREED TO OR CANCEL ME LIKE YOU SAID YOU WOULD!

    The dealership where I bought my truck was trying to strong-arm me in the finance department and they were only gonna cover it for three years or 36,000 miles. I was looking online trying to find an extended coverage and I found CARCHEX. They had the best for the amount of time and they were rated good. I called them up, talked to them, told them I needed to think about it and then, I had them send me something because I wanted to know what was covered. The guy went through the whole spiel to me this morning and they told me that everything was covered. So, I bought it.

    When I used the sunroof of the truck, I couldn’t get it closed. You could hear the relays clicking and the switch and I finally got it closed but it was still leaking. I called CARCHEX today and they said the window switch and the sunroof switch are not covered. I asked them why they said they covered all switches and all window motors. The contract says all motors and switches are covered and technically, the sunroof is a window, and it opens and closes. I’m not happy so I’m waiting to see if anything else happens to my truck I just bought. If it does, then I’m gonna tell them they could stick it where the sun doesn’t shine, and I’ll go somewhere else. The lady who talked to me put me on the line with some good boy but I’m not happy that CARCHEX did not cover and I was lied to. I’m a retired mechanic and I got through and fixed it myself.

    I bought the extended warranty on my 2013 Diesel Ford Truck. The sales person told me every thing was covered just like the original warrant from Ford up to 100,000 miles.     I have a Volkswagen and it’s not cheap. I decided to look into extended coverage and I found a lot of positive reviews about CARCHEX. When I called them, they told me what they had to offer where they can give me a loaner vehicle for free and I just have to pay a $100 deductible. It should have. But overall, the coverage is good. I still have someone else that has been trying to get me to go on with them, and I still have my 30 days yet so I'm not sure if I wanna stay with them because money talks.     I wanted end-to-end coverage that would be suitable for my BMW and went with CARCHEX. The rep put in my information wrong so I didn’t receive the follow up that was told to me. I had to call back in to make sure they had everything correct. Also, things could have also been explained a little better.     I am supposed to have a warranty with CARCHEX but when they sent me the paperwork via email, I saw another company, Allegiance. I checked online and Allegiance has a very poor rating and it’s not Better Business Bureau accredited. I told the salesman that I do not want to have Allegiance, and then he said that CARCHEX has a poor rating also so it doesn’t matter. But I signed up with CARCHEX, not Allegiance. I told him to change the warranty to a company that has good reviews and accreditation, and one that has everything what we agreed to, otherwise refund me the money and I would find a place that has that.     Three years ago, when I purchased CARCHEX, the price was reasonable and the coverage was good. I have a hybrid and bought Gold coverage from them. I thought it would cover all the electronics, the parts that might get affected. When I had an issue with my car, I had to get the rental car from Hertz, but they're working with Enterprise. I got the rental and after two days, I had to drop it off, pay some out of my pocket and get another rental car from another company. It would be easier to get the rental car from the beginning, then if CARCHEX would authorize it, they pay from the beginning. If they don’t, the customer has to pay for the days he had the car. My warranty is going to expire next month and I’ve tried to extend it, but I’m not sure anymore because I might have to transfer and buy from another company. Even with these issues, I'm satisfied with CARCHEX.

I’ve gotten two communications from them stating whether if I wanted to rate them on Better Business Bureau. I feel like if they have time to send me this kind of information, why can’t they just send me the contract?     My extended warranty before was extremely too much money for what they were giving me but I really wanted it to continue being that it was for my daughter's car and she's out-of-state. I took my time to research and found Carchex. I loved the feedback from the customers and thought that no one was gonna give feedback like that if it wasn't true.
