This is my 2nd time using Stateway Auto Transport and couldn't be more pleased with my experience again. Fast, easy and pain free - did the job as perfect if not more than the 1st time. Picked up on time, delivered on time. Driver was very accommodating. Already called Rachel back to set up my 3rd shipment back to Florida in the winter.

This is a broker company as they do not have their own trucks to transport most cars, like most companies on the internet stating they will move your car. I was looking to ship two cars from the west coast to the east coast. Spoke to Rachel and she assured me that she could arrange the shipment. She had the cars posted on the "dispatch board" for the actual truckers to look at and decide if they wanted the job. I attempted to cancel and was directed to Alexandria who assured me the cars would be removed by the dispatch board, as having multiple listings by more than one broker is not good, and may actually hinder a trucker from picking your car to transport. I will be filing a complaint with the DOT against Stateway Auto Transport.

Stateway auto transport has been going through some changes in their company, therefore, problems had occurred causing some dissatisfied customers. Once this was explained to me, I can understand & sympathize with them. I do apologize for my behavior and rudeness towards their company. In the end, everything turned out just fine.

I will not start this letter with polite formalities... I am a paying customer who has had THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD DEALING WITH ANY COMPANY!!!!!!!!! Your representatives have tried to extort money from me (O just an extra $100) and have also tried to steal my deposit money (without notice someone inside your company cancelled my order and kept my deposit money and never contacted me). Your customer service manager has lied to me several times (**) complained to me that I am taking money from her children's mouths because I want the company to honor their contract. She and another representative Pam have tried to charge me extra $100 for transport several times, then told me that she (**) would have to argue with her Boss and deduct $45 from her check. I asked to speak with her supervisor. She then told me SHE WAS the SUPERVISOR. WOW bold face lies...
I have been more than patient calling MANY MANY MANY times and have spent several hours re-explaining the situation to them with absolutely no results other than more hassle. I have spent additional storage funds while the car was waiting for pickup in storage, well past the stated contract dates. I was also VERY UPSET when I was asked if someone could HOT-WIRE my car and drive it. What do you think I said????? I have much more disturbing concerns and issues that need attention from Higher management... Like the OWNER. I have called every extension (several times) on the phone directory 1-847-215-4724 from extension 301-315 with absolutely no return calls or messages. I now call dispatch and have them connect me with a customer service rep who does not service any of my concerns, no relay of info to other reps, does not add info to file, or process a simple request to not be contacted by a particular rep who has consistently neglected my business.

My brother purchased my truck, and I wanted a transport company to deliver it to him. So, I went on the internet, typed it in, and Stateway Auto came out. You gave me an excellent price quote. But what I like about Stateway Auto is that you guys just solved on what you had to offer. I didn’t like other truckers who put the other truckers down; I get so mad with that cause that is scammer. Your people tell what you got to offer and just go with that. My brother said, “Let’s go with that,” and we did.
The transport organizer was a no-nonsense type of guy who just goes to the point. I liked him. He gave me the numbers so my brother did the same thing. To track the vehicle, we just called him on the phone and he told me where he was and what time he thought he’s going to be there. You delivered it right on time, within the expected time you guys told us. I really wrote a good report before my truck was even moved. My brother gave a good report too. You did what you said you would do, and you didn’t talk about other companies. Stateway Auto was one of the best experience I’ve been through. You’re a great company to do business with. I just appreciate you guys. You did a wonderful job.

It was cheaper to ship my vehicle than it would be for me to drive or fly and get it and drive it back. All the transport companies gave free quotes, but Stateway Auto’s price quote felt right. Also, I chose Stateway Auto because it was dual purpose; I didn’t want to deal with just a broker. My interaction with the transport organizer was good. He was honest and straightforward, which I appreciated. On the day of delivery, the carrier driver called and then got lost, and I had to bring him back in, which was fine. He arrived a day early, which is fine. The process took four days from beginning to end.
I receive a lot of cars through auto shippers, and Stateway Auto may have been higher but they were honest and straightforward, so that’s fine. They were quick and dependable. My only complaint is that the online tool for tracking my vehicle doesn’t work. Never throughout the whole time did it work.

I had no problem receiving an answer for a quote to ship a Hummer H-1 from IL to MT. When I tried on 2 separate occasions to requested an additional vehicle quote for a Dodge Viper that was to be picked up from the same place and delivered to the same place, I got silence! If I ran my business like this, I would be out of business!!!! There are too many transport companies that want your business to bother with this one.

One car to pick up in AZ and deliver to WA. Was on a short schedule because of a pre-scheduled trip overseas. Gave them 11.5 business days and 15.5 calendar days to arrange shipping. No problem, they said. With 5 business days to go, I gave them an increase in fees of 42% to try to get it done. Got Rachel on the phone 1 time and she said making my schedule was doable. Sent numerous emails to Rachel, numerous calls to Rachel and status team - never reaching a person but leaving messages. Never a return call!!! Ended up making expensive short notice airline reservations to fly down and drive back. A wasted 2+ weeks of my life. Don't know if all the transport companies are this incompetent but you should try any other one except Stateway.

I am moving from Manchester NH to Bismarck ND. I trusted Stateway Auto Transport to transport my car. They told me I will take 1 to 7 business days for the driver to pick up my car. A week have passed and I have no idea what is going on. When I call them no one picks up the phone. I have booked my train ticket on 28 June 2014. I don't know what to do now. Stay away from this company. If they contact me to clarify I will update that.

We got a bunch of pricing for transporting the vehicle. Some were low and some were high. Stateway Auto's quote was not the cheapest but they had insurance and they were bonded. We went with them primarily because of that. My wife was the one that was here and she said they did a really good job. The vehicle was checked before they put it in the driveway where she wanted it. She didn't have any problems. They did a great job of notifying us when it left and when it would be here. Everything was done within five days. It’s a great service.

Stateway was great. It’s actually the best transportation company I’ve dealt with to date. Periodically, we ship things from the California area to the Midwest and it’s usually like pulling teeth. Dealing with these guys, I called them up. Same day, he had three to four trucks moving down the road, and the next day, they’re with the fourth one on that particular load in front of the other driver for the following day. Within 6 days from start to finish, from the time I first picked up my phone to call them, the trucks got delivered. So it’s real good, very good experience.

I bought a vehicle down in South Carolina on the internet and needed to ship it to North Carolina because I didn't feel like flying down and driving it back. My transport organizer was Adam and he was awesome. He was the one that got back to me when I sent an email. He emailed me back in an hour or two. He coordinated the same day I told him to pick up the vehicle because it was ready for pickup. They left at night and arrived the next morning. The driver was nice. He unloaded the vehicle and put it where we asked him to put it. Everything was fine with the driver.
The price quote that Stateway Auto gave me was fair. They were quick to respond to my query and the service was quick. It was a fantastic experience and everybody should work like Adam works.

We were moving cross-country and we decided to get Stateway Auto. We moved cross country a year ago and we had used them for that move and everything went fine, so we decided to use them again. They definitely had a competitive price. We contacted them on the phone and they’re very friendly. In this case, we had a sort of situation where we had a tight delivery deadline, and he’s helpful, helping me think through how to approach that, as far as when to get the car picked up and stuff like that. The move is going to be happening in maybe about a week.
The last move we did, we probably bought their services a couple of weeks before the move, and then the actual move took about a week. The delivery was fine. The driver did ask me to meet him at a place that had a larger parking lot because he said it would be easier, and that’s fine with me, but other than that, perfectly fine, nothing really extraordinary one way or the other. Overall, they were very good.

I moved from St. Louis to Houston, and I wasn't able to drive my car all the way here, so I needed to ship. I got a quote online and they me sent me different emails, and Stateway Auto was the better priced one for door-to-door service.
The entire process took 30 days. We played phone tag for a few days before I actually got to speak with them but they did keep me updated by email. The carrier driver was very nice, and they also called to let me know how close they were and they wanted to set up a meeting spot that was convenient for me. My overall experience was okay. Timothy, who transported the vehicle, was very nice and answered my calls. I was not pleased when 20 minutes from when the car was going to be delivered I received a call from someone I had never spoken to stating I needed to pay cash or money order to the driver upon delivery. I explained that I was not prepared since no one has told me of it until just then, and the banks were closed. I told him I paid with a credit card on the initial order and I wanted to use that card. He said it would cost an additional $26.00 for processing. I was not happy about it, but accepted since he threatened to put the car in storage until I could come up with the money. I was very happy about the delivery time though. It was much faster than expected.

I was looking for some company that could move our car and I saw it through the internet. The price was okay and everything was okay... The car was here in about three days' time -- they picked the car up on Saturday and by Monday the car was here. The driver was organized and our vehicle was not damaged so the interaction was smooth. The service was good. And when I call their office, somebody answers and then takes action.
The first time I used Stateway I don't know anything about the company. But after this I was okay with them and recommended them to my sister.

My son is in college and needed a car. We had to give it him so I searched online. I looked at Google and put on shipping from state to state. I put on all the requirements on the website and Stateway Auto Transport was one of the companies that sent me an email and got the quote and price. The price was a little bit higher than other companies because the man gave me $745. The cheapest was the one with $650, but I checked the company website and the location. It's nearby where my son is. I also went to some websites that show other people's review. I saw somewhere they said they're good. It's a little bit high but I decided to use them.
Adam, the transport organizer, arranged the date. I liked May 1st but then I had an issue and changed the date. I called the company 3 times. Nobody answered so I sent an email. Then he responded very quickly and so we rearranged the date on May 20. They respond to emails better than the phone calls. The entire process from beginning to end took about a week. In four days they've already been there. They really were really so fast and amazing. We did communicate with the driver for three or five phone calls trying to stay on top of the time. My son said because the place where he lived the parking is hard, the driver contacted him and he picked him up. He called me and it was a little complex there. He got the car and paid. Overall it was a good experience. We are really satisfied by that. It's great and it worked out.

I purchased a new vehicle that I needed to get shipped. I was going through certain forums online and found feedback on Stateway Auto to be very good and so I chose them. The price was comparable. Considering the transport, the one I was given was better. The booking did not take much time. I got a call from them and when they had to ship it. They picked up the vehicle at around 3pm from Texas and the next three nights, 9pm it came on. That was to be a little time consuming but I was not able to enable the tracking.
I called the customer service to see if they can do the tracking but I was not able to reach them at all. The driver came and gave me a call outside the gate. I went, he handed all the papers and then I had to pay the balance. He was pretty cool - real nice and professional. Overall, aside from the tracking, I’m very happy with everything else. I had an unusual request. I was swapping cars with my son, so when my car was delivered to him, his car needed to be picked up & delivered back up here in MA to me. The girl I talked to arranged the transportation much quicker than expected, and with the same driver, minimizing any drive offs with either of our cars. It was a little more money to expedite, but well worth it. The driver was very polite & did his job well. Any change in pick up or delivery schedule was called in to me or my son. I would say that auto transporting is certainly not an exact science, and people need to respect that, but overall, your company did a great job. My cars came & went on schedule for the most part, and arrived dirty, but perfectly okay. Would probably use you again if needed.

So I contacted them to ship the car, and they told me the price was going to be $445. Well I needed to get the car shipped soon and said OK to the price, and paid the $145 fee, and the balance was to be given to the driver upon receipt of the car. 2 days later I received another email stating that the car would be ready for pickup between Apr 11-18. I called on the 19th and left a message, because the vehicle had not been picked up. I left several more messages between Apr 20-26. On Apr 28th, I got a phone call and they said that a driver was in the area and could pick the car up tomorrow. Only now the price was $545. Reluctantly we had the car shipped. After agreeing on a contract and giving Stateway a deposit, all hell broke loose. As the time drew near for pick up, no one called and I couldn't contact anyone. When I finally got Alexis on the phone, I was told that there were no trucks available. After days of aggravation, she told me if I wanted my car transported it would cost an extra $100. What could I do? I was ready to leave and they were holding my car hostage. I had to leave my car with a neighbor. When I got to my destination, still no contact with Stateway.
My daughter was finally able to contact them and after a week of hassling we were able to get a shipping date. Come to find out my car was shipped not by Stateway, but by another company. In closing let me say that in my 78 years of life, I've been swindled, cheated, robbed but I have never been humiliated, aggravated, or ripped off by the likes of Stateway. If you have to transport a car, Please, Please, Please do not choose this company.

Our son is in college in Texas and he texted us he needed a new car and so we found something here but then had to ship it to him pretty quickly. I did my research online and saw the Stateway Auto website was the most informative. It had more Better Business Bureau type of information that showed they were reliable. It gave me ways to check on them so I felt confident to go ahead and do it. They gave us a good price considering what else was out there. We talked to the transport organizer and I thought I understood everything but then when I called the second time to clarify if somebody needed to be here for the car pick-up, I got more information and that was a little funky because we weren't like an overnight special delivery but I knew I had to wait for the guy had like three days or a week to come pick it up but I didn't know he might hold on to the car another week. So that was kind of confusing.
It turned out not to be that way but I was kind of upset about that because that would have meant more like a three-week delivery and my son was hoping for in the next week. But it all worked out because he picked up the car on the very first day of the week that it would've been and we dropped it off. We spoke to the guy and he said he was leaving right away. So it all worked out really well. We were able to track the vehicle online. It took two weeks from beginning to end. The carrier driver was really cool. He was very informative. He let us know exactly where he was going and he made me feel better in the whole process. I'm very glad I went with Stateway. It was a good experience.

Normally they would drive it home but when my mom's husband passed away, they had to ship the vehicle back home so we could fly home. I went on the internet looking to get a couple of estimates on a couple of moving companies and the next thing I know I was flooded with about 30 different people all trying to transport my car. Stateway's price quote was very fair.
We asked them to be five days early and Stateway showed up seven days early, and the driver that was supposed to take the deposit didn't even take the deposit. He could speak very little English but other than that it was really fantastic. They did a great job. Everything with the transport organizer was good. I had two vehicles that needed shipping. I had to bring my granddaughter's car up from Arkansas and another one that I bought on eBay that I needed brought up from Virginia. I found Stateway Auto online. Their price quote was very good. This may be partially my fault because I told the guy there was no rush., but I put the order in for both cars in December. One of them took almost three months, which I thought was way too long. For the one in Charlesville, Virginia, I had to add another $100 in order for me to finally get it picked up. They told me that the reason they weren't getting it picked up in that particular city is it's hard to get a transporter that wants to travel out of his way that much so they charged me extra. They could bid higher so that they would get more takers and about two weeks later, they got somebody that would do it for the original agreed on price plus $100. They brought it over and it only took a couple of minutes to get it off the truck. Both guys that brought the vehicles here were fine. It was very fast and it worked out great. BEWARE... as per their terms: "4. ) Stateway Auto Transport is a carrier/broker. This means that we use our own trucks and work with subcontracted carriers. All subcontractors are licensed, bonded, and insured just as we are." NOT SO!
Vehicle arrived with smashed front windshield and damaged roof. Driver refused to provide documentation of damages and claimed it was not his "responsibility"- immediate phone call to Stateway established this was a sub contractor, AUTOTRANSPORT MOVERS LLC, and Stateway provided their contact number. Manager of Autotransport Movers sent "rep" to inspect and confirm damage, promising immediate repair and that driver had been "fired for his behavior". After 5 days of falsely promised appointments, endless phone calls and lies, eventually windshield replaced but Autotransport Movers then denies roof damage, despite photos on delivery and rep confirmation of damage.
Next step, contacting Stateway for insurance claim and after calling insurance agent (number provided by Stateway) informed that Autotransport Movers had canceled their policy March 1, prior to shipping my vehicle! On top of all this unethical behavior, original bill of lading (company that picked the car up) is another different company all together!
Stateway has been promising to take the matter up with "management" but 2 weeks later my vehicle repair has not been scheduled. I trusted Stateway based on their claims of credibility on their website:
"First, we are a carrier, which means that we have insurance coverage and own our own trucks. Not only are we insured, but we are covered up to one million dollars which means that your car rides safe with us. A lot of companies claiming to be carriers say that they are insured but few really are. The majority of auto transport companies who populate this industry happen to be just brokers who never even see a truck! They just push off the responsibility to your vehicle unto some driver whom they never even met just so they can charge your deposit. "
BUT turns our they are just as shady as the rest of the rats and mice in the shipping game. Customers beware! A carrier/broker is not the same as a carrier and you're at the mercy of their subs! Damages are going to cost me more than the shipment!

PS: Shore Auto Transport Rep said they would never be able to ship it in 7 days and I would have to call him back...... I was in Australia for a year, so I drove to New York then I needed to bring my vehicle back to Texas, where I work. State Auto’s price quote was good. I was satisfied with it. However, their transport organizer took a bit of time to get back to me. They took seven days until I knew when my car was going to be taken down here to Texas. I had a little bit of trouble contacting them, but after they gave me all the information and they got to find out a carrier, it was pretty smooth. The carrier driver was good. He came here, took the car down, everything was really good. It took around ten days from the day they called to the day I could use my car. I was pretty satisfied.

I also was able to track the vehicle using their online tool. The process took two or three days. The carrier driver was very nice as well. I’d recommend them.

I needed to have my vehicle transported from Arizona to Texas. I know I was a difficult customer because not only was I moving my vehicle, I was starting a new job (which included out of state orientation) and buying a new house. All within the time frame of my vehicle pick up and delivery. I changed delivery locations several times based on my location the day they were to deliver my vehicle and they were very accommodating with my request. Lastly, winter weather delayed my delivery but all went well. I plan to use Stateway Auto Transport again when my husband makes the move in a couple of months.

I found this company to be consumer friendly and my experience was very favorable. The personnel was friendly and responded promptly to my inquiries both before and after contracting with them. I selected them based on reviews and because it is difficult to determine whether there were only complainers on these reviews, I decided to be certain to do one that people could rely on. My auto transport went smoothly and everything that was promised was delivered...timely and on budget. My decision was based on reliability and not just price. Recommend them.

I've used other vehicle transporters in the past that have made me lose trust in the industry. My first mistake was not using these reviews to help pick a good transporter. One transporter wouldn't answer my calls after I sent payment, although the vehicle was picked up and delivered as promised. Another transporter (which is no longer in business) quoted and accepted payment, delivered the vehicle, but then the truck driver demanded more money (over $300) than was specified in the contract and threatened to hold the vehicle at an undisclosed location until the we paid the higher fees. That booking agent was also unavailable after she took our initial payment.
Stateway Auto Transport has helped me put all my worries aside. Danielle was ALWAYS available and easy to contact. The amount quoted was EXACTLY what we paid. The driver arrived on the first day the car was available for shipping and then delivered the vehicle in 8 days, as promised. Stateway Auto made this process the way it should be ... EASY. I would highly recommend this company, as I will use them again in the future.

We were relocating because of a job so we wanted to get our car shipped. I found Stateway online and think they were charging quite less than others so I went with them. It took three weeks to get everything done. Basically the driver picked up the vehicle from the origin and then he loaded it into his truck, and then just delivered it. So, it was satisfactory. It was a nice experience with them so I’m happy.

The wait was annoying but the damaged was deplorable. We contracted and paid our deposit with Stateway Auto Transportation 10/30/13 to have two jeeps moved cross country. After months of excuses and stories as to why the jeeps hadn't been moved they finally picked them up on 1/22/2014. We were told they would be delivered in 3 days, two weeks later they still hadn't been delivered.
On 2/8/14 the driver pulled up in the rain at 11 PM and demanded an additional $550.00 or he would not give us the vehicles. He was threatening and overbearing. My sister stuck to her receipt and refused to pay the additional money, finally after over 45 minutes of fighting, he said if she would sign off on the paperwork and pay CASH, he would off load the jeeps.
As the jeeps started to roll off the carrier she realized there was a big problem, both jeeps had been severely damaged. Either the carrier was in an accident or they had dragged them under an overpass but clearly the jeeps had been crushed. Both frames were damaged, the windshield had been bashed out of one, and the running board on one of them looked like it had been bashed in with a sledge hammer. So far Stateway has said that they used a third party to haul our vehicles and they are "investigating". I will update this through the week if there is any resolution, but truthfully I don't care who I have to involve, this is heart breaking and disgusting and I expect Stateway Auto Transportation to make this right or I will raise hell.

I needed to ship a car from the Philadelphia suburbs to Naples Florida. This was the first time doing this so I went online to find out how to proceed. After doing an investigation I submitted a quote on January 18th. I had at least 8 carriers email me back with various prices. After going on each of their websites I found that not only was Stateway Auto Transport in the lower price range but they advertised on their website: Unlike so many of our competitors, we are a fully insured, licensed and bonded broker/carrier (MC# 804149). This means that we own our own trucks and that we cut out the middleman for our customers.
After agreeing to a price and sending a deposit I received a confirmation on January 21st stating that the car would be picked up in 1 to 7 days. After 7 days they said that they were waiting for the owner operator. When I asked them about their statement of having their own trucks they said they had none available. Their rep said if I raised the price $75 the car would be put on the top of the bid list with a pickup in the next day or two by one of their owner operators. I had no choice and agreed on January 28th.
I received a call from the owner operator who said they would pick up the car Friday January 31st. After waiting all day I received a call that they had to wait until Saturday because their truck was broke down. After more phone calls the car was finally picked up the morning of Feb 4th. The driver said he was picking up 2 more Florida cars one going to Naples, and would be delivering it on Feb 5th ahead of the ice storm. I just called the driver and he is still in Virginia and may make to Naples late tomorrow. It has now been 17 days since I made the huge mistake of using Stateway Auto Transport. I am an executive at a service company that has over 200 technicians. If we ran our business the way Stateway does we would be out of business!!!

I had a vehicle in Texas and I did an online inquiry about having a vehicle shipped and Stateway was one of the companies that responded back. Their price quote is extremely low. I had about 10 people send me their estimates back and Stateway was the lowest. There were some others who were close to that price. It wasn't because they were astronomically lower, but they were definitely the lowest. I don't know how they made any money. But anyway, I had a car shipped from Dallas, Texas to Jackson, Mississippi. It's an 8-hour drive and it was $245 and that was everything. I know it's $100 for fuel. They picked my vehicle up at 8:00 in the morning. I talked to the owner of the vehicle as they were picking it up so I knew they had it. And at 9:00 that night, the driver called me and the transport was sent to my house. It was just a short trip. It wasn't like he was coming across country or something. They were extremely professional. It was a great great transaction. Everything went smoothly and it had no hiccups whatsoever.

We had a good experience with Stateway. They came and picked up the car and they got the car there on time. I only had one slight problem and I don’t think it was a problem with Stateway. It was a problem with the driver himself and I think some of it could have been maybe my fault. What happened was when they got the car there on a Friday or a Saturday, my daughter hadn't left here. She wasn't leaving till the next day or so. They should have called when the driver came and let me know he was already there. He could have told my daughter he was going to leave it and she would have been able to figure it out when she got there. He didn't do that but she was able to get the car Monday morning. It worked well and they did exactly like they said.
The car was fine and she was happy. It just raised a little anxiety when I called them on a Sunday and they said the car is delivered and left in a yard and he tried to get them but the yard was closed. It raise my level of anxiety as to whether my daughter can pick it up and get to work on Monday. It ended up working out. Stateway did a good job and I would recommend them. His truck is going on a MONTH AND A HALF and is finally arriving tomorrow, when arrival date was first week of December, on top of inadequate problem solving on the management's part, due to not returning phone calls or emails for days and sometimes week at a time. Not to mention we were given 3 different quotes and they choose the middle quote on their own accord and claimed the the lowest one was a computer error and refused to stick by it regardless of their recklessness.
NOBODY in the entire company is on the same page or has any idea what the other has told us or knows what the updates are that we have notified them of. Along with it took 3 different tow truck drivers spaced out through the month and half time frame to even get the truck, due to the truck not starting and needing a winch. We notified the management after 1st driver failed at pickup the situation, which we had to continually contact and call to find out what was going on NOT vice versa. They let me know a couple days ahead of the pickup date and their expected delivery. The driver let me know the day of the pick up, his progress and his expected arrival time at the drop off address. The next day the driver called again to confirm the address, driving directions, and estimated time. When the driver got within an hour and half, he called to let me know he would be on time. As promised the driver showed up on time with the vehicle in excellent shape.
I was impressed with with the thoroughness of the pre and post inspection form once it was unloaded. I was able to inspect it myself before signing off on the delivery. The balance owed upon delivery was exactly as quoted. I might add that even with the adverse weather during transport, they ran ahead of schedule. I know the next shipment I need will be with Stateway Auto Transport!

Company worked with me around my schedule for a pick up time. I was very pleased with how accommodating they were. They said my car would arrive at its final destination in about 10 days. It actually made it there in 6. Again very pleased with the timing. Overall, great service, no complaints. The only thing I could say bad was that my car was very dirty but that was expected being on an open vehicle and the bad weather conditions, but nothing a good car wash couldn't take care of. Highly recommended company!

I had 10 or 12 to pick from and I chose Stateway. I chose them because of the timing. They had called me once or twice and asked me what my plans were. That’s how it worked.
My experience with the transport organizer and the carrier driver were both A+. I was not there to load the car. So a neighbor of mine took the car out and left it outside. The guy picked it up and brought it right to my house with no problem whatsoever. He was a gentleman, everything was perfect and it all worked out well. I already have given them to two of my friends that I know for a fact used them this year.

The driver exactly told me when he was coming and where to pick up the car. This was my first time shipping a vehicle and I can't be happier with the results. At first I was getting calls from lots of different shipping companies, constantly calling and texting and changing their offers over and over again. Stateway Auto simply sent me an e-mail (like I requested) with the exact terms and a quote. I called Adam who provided me the quote and he gave me all of the details and let me know exactly how the whole process would work. I still had a few days to make up my mind; during that time I wasn't pestered and constantly called about the quote (like the other companies were doing).
I called back Adam and finalized the order with a small deposit. The driver reached out to me two days later with his details and the estimated pickup and delivery dates. He was courteous, arrived on time, and delivered my car safely from Texas to Florida. Overall it was a great experience and I'll certainly use them again if I ever need to ship a vehicle.

From the beginning that I was flexible on the drop off location. After the first fiasco, Danielle at Stateway told me exactly how many other cars in Central Dispatch were waiting to be picked up for my drop off area and she agreed that a location in Los Angeles would get me my SUV here much quicker. My daughter was attending college in Pensacola, Florida and is transferring back home to attend a college nearby our hometown in Pennsylvania. On November 19th, 2013 we received our confirmation from this company which confirmed that the "standard pick up window is 1-7 business days from ready date of December 6th 2013". We told the employee at Stateway Auto Transport that it is imperative that the vehicle be picked up by Saturday December 14th because my daughter would be flying home the next day and would not be around to meet up with the driver.
During her week of finals, 12/09/13 thru 12/13/13, we received word from Stateway Auto Transport that the vehicle would most likely NOT be picked up by the date they provided. My daughter returned home today in crying because this issue caused extreme stress during her final exams and most likely affected her grades. Today, Sunday 12/15/13 my wife and I tried numerous times to contact Stateway Auto Transport via e-mail and telephone. Their website states that they are open from 12:00 noon until 5:00 PM Central time on Sundays.
Each time we called we got a message stating that "due to high phone call volume that no one is available and to leave a message and they would return our call." We are still waiting to hear what the actual pick up date will be from Stateway Auto Transport and will now be forced to rent a vehicle until my daughter's car arrives. I will keep you updated on if and when the vehicle actually arrives and if Stateway Auto reimburses us for the cost of the car rental.

The lower your expectations, the happier you will be with Statewide. Do not use the timelines for delivery that they put out on their website as any kind of basis for actual delivery. Also, do not be impressed by their "online tracking" chat feature - it is not operational. Try giving them a call at their 800 number - "we are experiencing a high volume of calls. Leave your number and we will return your call at the earliest opportunity." Apparently, opportunity is scarce Stateway HQ. After being told my vehicle would be picked up in 1-7 business days, I had the privilege of speaking to Anthony on business day number 8. He was going to be "amazed" if my car wasn't picked up in a couple of day....
Three days later no pick up, no communication, nothing from Stateway. My car was available for pick up 12 days ago. Apparently if I had utilized one of their "deceptive and dishonest" competitors (taken from their FAQs on their website) I would have a car in transit right now instead of renting a car again.

On 11/5/13 I bought a 07 Ford Ranger of eBay and need to ship it pronto from a dealer in Philadelphia, Penn. to my house in Joliet, Illinois. Out of many quotes Sam of Stateway Auto Transport was the lowest at $595.00 included $145.00 earnest deposit off of my visa card and the rest I'll pay at delivery to the driver. Sam assured me 4-7 days for pick up maximum and 2 more to deliver on a dime and I'm convinced. He then email me welcoming introduction to their outfit and other pertinent details that is nice to be aware of. Days later he called and notify me through email of the pick up on the 7th day and also let me know that the driver will be calling me before delivery the time so I'll be there to receive, inspect and pay.
2 days later the driver called that he's on route to drop off within 2 hours. He showed up, unloaded my truck on to my driveway in as expected condition then part ways. At the time I'm amazed that it took just 9 days! Before Stateway another company claiming to have 7,900 trucks delivering for them nationwide held my deposit for 10 days without any follow up calls of assigning a driver to my order. If only I called Sam first I would be driving my truck 10 days earlier and I don't have to be hounding back my deposit that took nearly a month to refund back onto my card. I learned my lesson. I wanted somebody with the Better Business Bureau because I don’t want to turn over my vehicle just to somebody. So I checked them out and what people said. And they called me saying, “I’ve got a truck. A guy that could pick it up is coming through here.” And they get the guy to pick it up and I got it the same day. I am not going to over-dramatize for rating, but I want to cue others in to what's happening to me right now. I entered into contract with Stateway Auto on Nov. 19th and gave them what sounds on this site to be the usual $185 up front. Adam told me it takes 3-7 business days most times to be picked up, but it sometimes is sooner, so be ready.
I was concerned because I've never shipped a vehicle, but he said they ship over 200 cars a week on average, so I then I thought there was no need to worry. He also said they have a fleet of their own trucks and they make more money using their own and do so as often as they can. Again, I thought they are professionals. I looked them up on the BBB website and when saw they had a C- accreditation I almost crossed them off the list of transport companies, until I saw a link to a 20/20 expose about BBB reviews. I decided to give them the benefit of doubt, so I read reviews on this site before even requesting a quote from Stateway and I saw mostly 5 star reviews.
Stateway responded to one reviewer by saying that they "Strive to better service" by listening to customers. I noticed after reading the reviews back to 2010 that the #1 complaint almost to a person was that customers cannot get anyone to answer the phone at Stateway. I have called several times since the fourth business day after making the order to three different peoples' extensions (Adam, Kim, and Anthony), never once did anyone answer. I do get calls back, but it is always someone different sounding like they are reading from a script... "I'm sorry...driver not assigned...when they are, you will get an email... driver will call." I know this stuff, I just need my truck picked up.
Kim called yesterday (somehow it always goes to my voice mail, must be coincidence) and left a message saying that drivers don't like going that far from the interstate, and they have to go over mountains, it's up in the northern part of the state, too far... They ship over 200 cars a week, don't they know all this? How is it that there are any surprises to them when it comes to where vehicles can be picked up from? Anyway, it is 12/4/13 and my truck hasn't been assigned a driver (they apparently don't assign the drivers, the drivers choose the what, when, and where) and I get emails saying they are busy with the high volume of calls. I will post back on here after I get my truck and let you know how it went and more importantly, how long it took to get assigned.

Order #** - I placed an order on 11/13/13 Stateway Auto Transportation to ship my car from WA to VA. Today is 12/02/13, my car still sitting in my parking lot and not being pick up. Worse than that is I was told that my car is being expedited on 11/20/13. The personnel Bill never personally reply my email since I ordered. The customer service/dispatch never pick up the phone, however, they do reply once a while. The answer they had were they are trying every best but at this time is UNKNOWN. They will let us know asap since November 20. I am not kidding. I call and email about every day... but THEY DO NOT CARE.
I was about to go with another company. Lucky that they all share the same system and dispatch/drivers. The second company told me that STATEWAY DID NOTHING since 11/23. The reason they can't pick up because of the area is very north and is hard to find a driver that willing to go extra mile. Oh my god, after all these time I have to find out the reason from another company????? If Stateway cannot go extra miles, they shouldn't promise or accept the deposit to begin with. Also, they should update their website to 'Not to trust us if you are not living in the areas of our drivers.'
Don't you hate to deal with this type of company and people who know nothing and can't give you an update. I told the new company as I am willing to take the car a little south to convenience the driver if possible. I heard a lot of good comment about Stateway, but only if you are living in the big states and convenience their routes. Otherwise this company will not do anything extra to accommodate you. They just play game and hoping that I will cancel my order so they can have the easy way out and not lose a dime... I am sure this is what Stateway want. They rather cancel my order or make me to cancel it instead of complete the JOB which for sure will save them $$$.
I will post an update and let you all know the end result or feel free to email me. I never write complaints to so many website or sent so many emails to the company (no answers). You can tell how frustrated I am with Stateway. If I decided to go with another company, I'll post it and let you all know.

I spoke to a representative and the price was fair and it seemed like a good company to work with. Transport organizer and carrier driver were fantastic. Everyone was more than helpful and the driver was really, really nice and my car was delivered like days quicker than I expected. I’ve had an excellent experience with Stateway Auto. I’ll do it again if I ever needed to.

This company low balls the transport fee to get your business and your upfront deposit. I have made repeated attempts to contact them with no response. The amount offered to the truck driver is so low my car will never be picked up. Please do yourself a favor and go with a reputable company that will do what they say they will do. It is a shame that this company makes all companies in the business look bad. Don't believe their 4-star rating... it is fabricated. They have had hundreds of complaints through the BBB. Spend time to educate yourself on these guys. There are just too many other good companies that deserve your business. Shame on Stateway. I have been ripped off and I hope you don't.

I chose Stateway Auto as their headquarters is in Wheeling which is not too far from where my son was. If we had a problem, we could handle a meeting face to face. Interaction with them was all good. I called on Thursday Oct 3rd to get my elderly parent's car shipped from Chicago to FL as they go there every winter. This year, we are a little late and needed the car picked up by Tues Oct 8th. Rachel and Kim went above and beyond to get the car picked up and we couldn't be any happier. We normally schedule in August but this year as I stated were a little late due to my father being ill and it was up in the air if my parents would make it down to Florida. I knew from previous times that they require a window, but Rachel did give me an option of expedited pick up which we opted to do this year. The car was picked up on Friday afternoon so well worth the extra fee. I did, however, already schedule a return trip for my parents in April which is great because they did give us a returning customer discount plus took a little more of the rate since I was scheduling two orders in one day. Thank you Stateway, Rachel and Kim for your fabulous service!!!!

I arranged to have my car moved from Missouri to California with Bill from Stateway Auto Transport. After he had my deposit and credit card number I never heard from him again. He didn't return my emails or phone calls - all calls/emails were answered by an extremely rude, unhelpful woman named Danielle. It was a consistent game of overpromising and under delivering throughout the entire experience.
I was told it would take 48 hours to get the car assigned to a driver and then four days after that it would arrive in California as was their seven day "guarantee" (which I was later told, “well, it isn't exactly a guarantee”). It took almost a week to assign the driver and only after I called and called to try and get answers. The driver was assigned but only after Stateway offered an extra 100 dollars to take the job which I was expected to float to the actual driver of the truck. Plus, I wasn't told about the extra money until I got an invoice for the incorrect amount and again called and called and called only to have Danielle return my call and give a nonsensical answer about them "not making money" and they would reimburse me the $100 in 24 hours. Cue another round of phone calls and seven more days before the amount was paid back.
In summary: completely terrible customer service (read my one star rating as a zero star rating) from a company that I will never give another penny to and you shouldn't either. Learn from my mistake. Work directly with a trucking company. Stateway - try a little customer service next time. It will go a long way in an industry where you might want to differentiate yourself from your competition since ultimately brokers don’t do anything.

I first was contacted by this company after advertising that I needed to ship a pick up truck from Cheyenne, Wyoming to Massachusetts. Of course they had the lowest quote of ten shipping companies. They took all of my information and then needed my credit card info to book a driver. I gave it to them. When I went to make pick up and delivery dates, they came back and changed my quote to over $400 more. I personally spoke to them on the phone and I told them I don't want to do business with people like that and I said, "Give me my deposit back". The next day, a sales rep called me and again they tried to reverse my decision. I refused to change my mind. They told me it could take 7 days to make the refund. It has been almost a month and still they have not returned my money.

As some of the recent reviews, I too was told by Bill that my van would be picked up probably after the weekend, as drivers don't like to pick up on weekends. This was on 9/26/2013 a Thursday. He said it would be a Monday, Tuesday, maybe Wednesday time frame, because my van is extended cargo. Call Bill a couple times, same recordings as stating in other reviews, emails, no response. Had Danille call me, told me same thing about offering drivers the deposit up front, still nothing. I also told them this is my truck that I need for work. Here it is 10/8/2013, been calling Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, same recordings, same "someone will call back by end of day” and nothing. If you can't deliver, don't take job! At least then the customer can find a more reliable "Broker/Carrier". Funny thing is I had two other smaller vans to transport at end of month, not by Stateway, they can't even get one to me.

If they tell you they go the extra mile for their customers, THEY REALLY MEAN IT. In my case, it turned out to be an extra 553 miles extra, which was evident when the car was received... with the gas tank empty and the odometer with 553 more miles on it than when they picked it up. This is a rather long story, but the bottom line is: USE STATEWAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. After reading this, YOU WILL HAVE BEEN WARNED.
The indications were there right from the start, and I should have been smart enough to recognize them. Upon receiving many different quotes for shipping the car from Rancho Mirage, California to Vero Beach, Florida, I picked Stateway who was neither the highest nor the lowest bid. They impressed me because they make a big deal out the fact that they use their own trucks. Yes they do HAVE SOME, but my suspicion is that most of their business is done as an aggregator, taking the business and giving it to another trucker. They make no mention of this policy, but imply that others who do offer an inferior service. This is from their website: "What Makes Us So Different? We Are a Carrier. Unlike so many of our competitors, Stateway Auto Transport is a fully insured and licensed carrier. This means that we own our own trucks and that we cut out the middleman for our customers. Why is this important? Being a carrier is essential in getting vehicles moved as quickly and efficiently as possible."
Huh!!?? First of all, the original agreement sent to me by Stateway was totally inaccurate. It had the wrong address on it; the cost for their service did not reflect what they had quoted me; the recipient’s phone number was incorrect; and the model number on the car was incorrect. This was important because they indicated that if the car was longer or wider than expected, there would be an additional charge. The car they cited incorrectly was 9 inches shorter than mine. Based on my experience with Stateway, once you have booked them, they will not answer any calls or respond to emails in any way, regardless of how many you send. It was only after I refused to pay the deposit that they attempted to correct the agreement, a process that took 4 attempts before they got it right. It was comical... They would fix one problem and not the others. Then they would correct the other problems and the first problem would revert to being incorrect again and so on and so on...
My brother-in-law had also originally contracted with them to pick up his car from the same location, but to be dropped off in Connecticut. I emailed Rachel to see if they could pick up both cars at the same time to save the housekeeper from having to go to the house twice. Her emailed response: "yes". Based on that response, we booked them, not realizing that they never planned to pick up both cars up at the same time. My brother-in-law eventually canceled with them after waiting several weeks for a pickup. They then, with no authorization from me, scheduled my pickup with an outside carrier. In fact they scheduled it twice before I authorized it. The third time, again without my authorization, they scheduled a pick up, but fortunately for them, the car was ready.
Because I was overseas, I scheduled them to contact my sister and drop the car off with her. She received a call one day from Stateway saying that the driver was two hours away from Vero Beach, and had been trying to contact her. She called the phone number they gave her, left several messages with the answering service, and canceled her appointments and waited to no avail. Not only did the car not show up on time, but it disappeared totally from the radar. Here is an excerpt from what I emailed to them at that point: "Now, a few minutes ago, (my sister) received a call back from the driver that Sara (from Stateway) gave her the number for, and told her that there is no Lexus on the truck. Is there someone at your company that has any clue as to what is going on? More importantly, where is my car?"
As it turned out, the driver completely bypassed Vero Beach and took the car 4 hours south, to Miami, where it sat for two weeks in a "secure location", according to Susie, the manager at Stateway. She went into great detail with me describing all of the snafus that happened along the way with this job, including employee disruptions, incompetence, etc, etc. The car was finally delivered to me on around June 16th, nearly 2 weeks after they had originally committed. THIS IS WHERE THE REAL PROBLEMS STARTED. I was still overseas and received an email from the estate of the previous owner saying that they received a bill for $4 due to my car passing through a toll without paying in Miami, Florida at midnight. The bill came with a photo confirming that it was indeed my car with the original California plates. HUH?
I immediately contacted the guy looking after the car to confirm the mileage on the car and it was indeed 553 miles higher than when it had left California and the gas tank was empty. I confirmed the extra mileage to Stateway by producing a Notarized document confirming the mileage prior to shipment when the sale of the car was made. Obviously, not only was my car NOT in a secure location, but it was left to be driven around by some idiot without my permission. Simply put, it is auto theft and someone will be held accountable. I have since spent over $3000 to fix the car. It had only 9764 miles on the odometer when it left California, but 553 unauthorized miles later it had balding tires and the front end was out of alignment. The Battery was nearly dead and had to be replaced and the rear brakes were seizing, needing replacement. Based on this, I had to assume the unauthorized drivers were not babying the car and so I requested a full service in it also.
Stateway has not taken responsibility for any of this, other than the office Manager, Susie, committing to speaking to AIMEE TRANSPORT IN MIAMI, who supposedly kept the car in "a VERY secure location". For the record, her promises were empty and it remains unresolved. Believe it or not, this report is simply a summary of the problems we had. For the entire ugly story, based entirely on documented facts, we are in the process of building a website. In it, I will document my adventure with them from beginning to end and it will allow others who have had similar problems to provide content. It is still under construction so be patient!

I have a daughter that lives in California and I wanted to get a vehicle up to her. She was just getting around on public transportation and a bicycle. I wanted to get her truck up to her. And when I got to look into what it cost usually to ship a vehicle versus me driving it up there and having her in a hotel room and then flying, it was just super convenient to have it shipped.
I just got on the internet and I typed in shipping and where the vehicle is coming from and going to and then just a whole bunch of emails. Stateway had one of the better prices out of all the other. That’s what made me go with them. I liked some of the stuff they said and then the fact that it’s door-to-door delivery.
My interactions with the transport organizer and the carrier driver went well. The driver called me when he was on his way and he was on time. He actually pulled down my street. I just thought it was pretty neat to ship a vehicle cross country like that for $800 or $900. I don’t remember how long it took, maybe three or four days to get there.
The truck was a Ford Explorer so they let me put a few items in the back of it. I put a TV set, a flat-screen TV, and a couple of guitars that she wanted to have up to her. She got it when it was promised. It was very convenient and very cost effective.

The driver was great, but I wasn’t too happy with the organizer. They didn’t get back to me all the time. There was a big delay in me getting a driver that would come here in the country where I lived and they just didn’t seem to respond to me when I would call or send emails. It was kind of like taunting me to find out when my car was going to be shipped. But when I did talk to them, they were pretty good. I first contacted Stateway to have our car shipped from Michigan to Florida. Of course I got a quote phone call right away, and after getting a few other quotes decided to go with Stateway. This was the very beginning of August. We needed our car in Florida by a specific date at the end of the month. We have them our deposit which of course came out of our bank account right away. That's when I stopped hearing from them.
As the day approached that we needed our car in Florida, we still hadn't heard anything, so I began calling and emailing on a daily basis, NEVER getting a call or email back. Their voice mail says you will get a call back by the end of the business day. That's a flat out lie! I called and emailed more times than any customer should. Finally about 9 days before we needed our car in Florida, I got a call back. They couldn't figure out why they didn't have a driver so I was passed along to Susie. She gave me her direct number, so I began calling her on a daily basis. She kept telling me they were really trying, and even upped what they were giving the driver, but nothing.
Finally about 5 days before we needed our car, I told Susie I just wanted my money back, even though she was sure they could get someone. How that was gonna happen was beyond me since they couldn't get a driver in all the days they had before and somehow magically she was gonna find a driver, have our car picked up in Michigan and delivered to Florida in 5 days... Yeah, no. Finally she agreed to return our money.
Well, I still have no refund, and I did get an email from accounting a week ago today that we would get our refund in 2-4 business days. That hasn't happened. I have started my emailing and calling all over again and now of course Susie's number is disconnected... DO NOT USE STATEWAY. It has been a nightmare! We ended up having my father-in-law drive our car to us in the end...

I used to dread dealing with transport services, so I put off shipping my car for about 3 months, incurring parking tickets, and even getting towed! Finally, I sought quotes from an online service (can't remember which), and I received more than 20 quotes from different companies. Stateway quoted the lowest by a huge margin, but I was skeptical - how can one firm do the same job for so much less? Maybe a fraud or just bad quality, perhaps. But I did call them back just to find out, and they said their low rates were because "they owned the lanes". They also gave the best timelines for shipping, and the person I spoke with was articulate and intelligent (felt like I was at the Genius Bar at the Apple iStore).
The pick-up and delivery went without a hitch - they brought it into Frisco, TX on schedule, and the driver coordinated with my brother at the other end for the deliver. I don't know if this was a one-time great experience or if they are always so good - but I'm not worried about shipping anything long distance anymore! Since then, I've recommended them to many people, every chance I get :)

My sister had passed away and I needed to bring her vehicle from Florida to PA for me to sell for the estate. I first heard about Stateway Auto on the internet. I did not have a good experience with the first one I chose which cost me money, unbeknownst to me. I had contacted someone before and I got a real good lesson on auto transporters.
It’s a very difficult process to have a vehicle shipped like that unless you have a high end exotic because your pickup time is anywhere from the first available day. It was a Friday, but it wasn’t picked up till Monday. This was what happened with the first transporter. I had to have somebody at the house down there every day when they were supposed to come and they didn’t show. Then when I cancelled it because of that, I still had to pay. So that was a valuable lesson. It’s a difficult thing to do. Would I ship another vehicle? I doubt it. That experience for me was not a good experience at a bad time. That’s just in general and nothing against Stateway. I have no problem with them.
The guy I talked to with Stateway explained exactly how it works. After I knew, I chose them and got the car. It worked exactly that way and that was fine. The price quote was fair. I did not even bother tracking the vehicle with the online tool. They called me, kept me informed when he picked it up. He told me approximately when he would be in town. He called me when he was in town and they delivered it right to my door.

Please be careful before hiring this company as your carrier. I hired them in August to ship my car from MD to FL. They told me that they will pick up between 1-7 days. And delivery time would be about 2 days. After 2 weeks, they could not find a driver to "pick" up our truck. They kept on telling me that drivers will not pick our truck because Pensacola is away from everything else. They told us if we wanted our car faster, we would have to pick up in Mobile, AL which is over an hour away. We had no choice to agree because we needed our truck.
Well, again, our truck was never picked up. I told them to just forget our "order", and that we wanted a FULL refund of our deposit. It has been about 2 weeks. We still have not received our refund. When I called, and asked them about it, they told me that it will take 7 to 14 days to process the refund. And because those days were over a long weekend (Labor Day), they told me it will take longer. A few days later, I received an email stating that they just processed the refund. And that it will take about a week to get it. I am STILL waiting on my refund. Another thing, no one picks up. You have to leave a message and someone "might" call you back. Each time I called, I had to wait anywhere from 2-3 for a call back.

If we ever have to transport another vehicle we will use Stateway Auto Transport.

I placed an order to have my vehicle transported from MA to FL on Sunday July 21, 2013 after speaking with Sam who advised the normal pickup time frame was between three and seven days. Seven days went by with no contact from Stateway. Every time I called or emailed I received a reply a day or two later stating that my vehicle was on a list and that they were still waiting for a driver to agree to take my vehicle. After five phone calls I was told by Stateway that they had to raise the price by $150 in hopes that a driver would pickup my vehicle and that they would issue a refund on my credit card for the $150 as I would need to pay to the driver in cash on delivery.
My vehicle was finally picked up in MA twelve days after the order was placed. The driver was nice and the vehicle was delivered three days later in satisfactory condition. I had to pay the driver cash based on the $150 higher price. Despite numerous phone calls and emails over the last ten days I have not received any reply and the $150 overpayment was never refunded to my account. I am now out not only the $150 but also twelve days of a vehicle rental so I could drive to work in FL while my vehicle was still sitting in MA.
Stateway appears to have underbid to gain the order and then failed to fulfill either the time frame or price. I am now out $500 over what I had budgeted due to the failure of Stateway to meet their time frame and contracted cost. Not to mention adding a lot of stress to a long distance relocation.

I sold a car to a friend. If you go online looking for shipping companies or people to transport things, they inundate you with all sorts of websites. That’s when I saw Stateway. Communicating with their people went fine. They took the car to go to Dallas. It was five or six days. They quoted me something about seven days. It was there early. They are very good. A good carrier. I enjoyed it. I would use them again but I don’t have that many vehicles to ship.

I purchased a car off eBay and it was out of state. The move went very well. The driver called me when he picked it up and he told me when he’d be there, and he was there on time. The process took about five days from the time I submitted the order. They did what they said they were going to do.

I had good experience with Stateway. Very good. It was actually my daughter. The family went down to see my grandson graduate boot camp in Georgia. When they got there, something went wrong with the car. She pulled it into the dealership down there and they couldn’t fix it because they had to order parts. Everybody had to go to work. So basically, we got them home by a rental car to Virginia. And then I called around. There was an outfit out of Florida I wouldn’t give you a dime for. I finally got my money back from them. They promised, promised, promised, and nothing was happening. So I got a call from Stateway and the person was pretty nice about it. I talked to her for a few minutes and she said it’ll cost me so much for a quick pickup. We got it picked up and it came up here, and the drivers were great. They were crazy but they were great. They’re from Georgia and they didn’t know which way to go. But they were good. The car and everything got up here fine.
Beginning to end, it took one week. The only reason it took that long is because I think there was cross wires between the one I fired and Stateway. I learned a good experience. You don’t hire two at one time. So basically, Stateway, I think, could have got it a couple of days earlier but I think they had a conflict with the idiots that were in Florida and the dealership basically didn’t know who to release it to until I called them and told them, “Do not give it to these people in Florida.” I can’t remember their name. I got it someplace. And I said, “You will only release it to Stateway.” Once they picked it up, it was here within a day and a half, almost two days.
Stateway is a great outfit. I had a great experience once I got away from the people in Florida. Stateway, I would use them again and I would recommend them. They are good and they are a fair price.
