Don’t remember—I have used Life Alert at least 3-4 times for falls only. – The necklace button worked! Dispatchers were spot on and courteous especially when I accidently leaned on button.

Fallen— Life Alert called emergency services and family member for assistance.

I fell and Life Alert contacted everyone on my list. All was good and courteous.

I had Life Alert for over 3 years. I’ve had a few falls during that time. The dispatchers have always been courteous and helpful in sending quick assistance when needed.

I would never recommend Life Alert! We had one instance where my mother-in-law fell. I needed help, pressed the button and never got a response. I was eventually able to get her up and she was okay but I should not have had to do it by myself. If this were the only problem we’ve had, I could overlook it but the problems with billing and lack of communication have led me to my review. We cancelled the service due to a move into assisted living. Life Alert arranged pickup of the equipment by UPS but the equipment never made it back to Life Alert. We have continued to be charged monthly and we have been told that will continue until UPS sends payment to cover the lost equipment. UPS is currently waiting on additional info from Life Alert to settle this claim.

I would highly recommend Life Alert.

1-8-26- Fell in my bathroom & was glad I had my Life Alert pendant. Police were here within 10 min. Was in hospital for 6 days.

Fell & unable to get up. Life Alert dispatchers brought help right away at 4AM.

January 2025- Couldn’t walk—sprained ankle problems. Life Alert dispatchers was amazing—stayed on phone until help arrived.

I slipped off the bed onto the rug, firemen came and lifted me up. Life Alert dispatcher stayed on the line the whole time.

I live alone and don’t have a cell phone so Life Alert is with me at all times and has helped me more than once.

January 25, 2026- I fell on front porch. Used Life Alert pendant – Dispatchers responded called EMT’s stayed on call until ambulance arrived. (Scraped left shin)

Jan. 28, 2026- Wife fell outside in driveways & couldn’t get out of snow bank. Life Alert called Rescue for us.

I fell in the house & couldn’t get up. I called Life Alert by pressing the button on my neck.

March 4- I fell. Life Alert got details of accident. Called paramedics, stayed on line until paramedics arrived.

I fell—could not get up because my knees are in bad shape. EMT’s sent by Life Alert came quickly & helped me get to my feet.

1-24-26- My mom used her Life Alert because of significant chest congestion. She was scared of her breathing.

1-23-26- Very low blood sugar. Life Alert got my neighbor to me also police & rescue squad.

I had wrecked my car; in all the chaos it was so convenient to just push my Life Alert button to get help. The dispatcher was very kind & got me help very fast.

I fell! Life Alert stayed on phone call until paramedics took me to hospital! Very Caring! Thank you!

2/5/26- Mom had very high blood pressure. Life Alert was fast to respond and courteous.

Life Alert helped right away didn’t have to wait when I fell.

I have called Life Alert about four times. Each experience was very positive. They were very professional and calming.

February 10, 2026- Called Life Alert because I couldn’t walk. Ambulance came.

Jan. 26, 2026 06:35- Severe pain everywhere in my body. Life Alert had ambulance here quickly.

I fell getting out of bed. As a person living alone, I feel Life Alert was a blessing.

1/3/26- In the evening I lost my balance and fell. Unable to get up. Pushed the button on the pendant. Rescue squad sent by Life Alert came quickly and took me to the ER.

When my stomach hurts, I called for Life Alert assistance and Life Alert was there immediately. Good job guys.

1-6-26- Life Alert have always been a help—when needed.

I had no issue with the service. However, after my father passed the problems began. I called to cancel a week after he died to cancel his service. They assured me it was cancelled, charged me $50 for the pendant the hospital lost, THEN told me to recycle the equipment, not return it. A week later I get a call saying the unplugged life alert had gone off. Mind you my dad has been dead for two weeks, the machine is unplugged and the pendant is lost. I tell them this, they transfer me twice.

Became very short of breath. Hit the Life Alert button within a few minutes, paramedics came. Very good to have this service!!

I had a heart attack and had my Life Alert on; hit the Life Alert button and dispatchers sent help quick to come. It saved my life.

Absolutely horrible customer service. First they had to replace our cables to the boxes to “make sure they were working correctly. “HELLO are you serious?" This is supposed to be a no fail system for emergencies. My mother is going into a facility so I called to cancel and send their equipment back and the rude representative stated I would have to provide a letter stating specifically that she was going into a long term care facility. Now that’s just what I need to deal with at this time in our lives. The rep was MORE THAN RUDE and proceeded to threaten to turn my mother over to a collections agency. Worst company for dealing with the elderly. They will nickel and dime you to death and then threatened an 87-year-old woman who is sick and has to leave her home. Now this makes me want to have them monitoring a home for safety. ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY!!! BEWARE!!!!

I was talked into getting this by the rehab center of my hospital. Unfortunately, I followed their advice. The first unit I got did not work. I was suckered into a three-year contract. I should have known better. The second unit I got did not work. I found then there was no way to get out of it. They keep telling me it’s going to work and it still hasn’t. I’ve had it now for four months and it still does not work. They keep telling me it will work, but it doesn’t every time I test it. It fails. I am at my wits' end. I’m getting no help at all yet. I’m still being billed for it because I am under contract. They refused to do anything to help me. I have asked to speak to a supervisor yet I get no call back.

Very disappointed with this system. The first week or two I had the GPS, it fell off my purse and was lost. I called to see if they could track where it was, they couldn't, but told me I could pay $200+ to replace it. When I said no, they didn't tell me they could take $10 off my monthly bill. The pendant began to alarm very often. Turns out if was defective. They replaced it. I'm an active person and was getting numerous alarms as it is very sensitive. Tried to cancel my contract, but, of course, they will not. I understand I signed the contract, but was led to believe I would have a better service. The only way I was able to get ahold of customer service (they just leave you on the line holding forever) was to write a letter and send an email. I was told a different way to contact them. Of course, they only repeat the lines they are trained to repeat. No real customer service.

Couldn’t get to phone because I almost passed out and Life Alert called 9-1-1 for me.
