Rebecca assisted me in changing billing from annual to semi-annual status and added USAA discount, which I didn't have previously. She was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. She explained that new contract would be sent via email and that I should sign and return via email.

Service was excellent and very timely. Answered all questions in a friendly but very professional manner. I was most satisfied with the prompt reply to my questions which indicated full knowledge of the product. Submission via email of required documents needed to upgrade account was very quick and easily completed. Very good system.

My mother has a Bay Alarm Medical Alert bracelet. She recently had a stroke and was unable to push the button for help. I called to upgrade to a Fall Alert system. The representative could not have been more professional and personable. Appreciative!

I am very pleased with this system by being so alert. I have had no accidents to have to use the Alert button. I have accidentally hit the alert button a couple of times and the help answered immediately. In fact 3 different people answered.

On 6/28/17 I contacted Bay Alarm Medical Customer Support. Julie ** received my call. She was professional, helpful, obviously customer oriented and from her smooth performance, accustomed to providing outstanding service. I am hearing impaired (deaf is kind of an ugly word for me ;-)) and Julie factored that in to her support, greatly helping the information exchange. Showing initiative, she took some extra research steps which turned out to be of financial benefit to me. As a "first contact" for your organization, her professionalism, knowledge, attitude and customer care are a great asset to Bay Alarm. I would appreciate it if you would convey my thanks to her and enter this in her personal file so she will have permanent recognition. Added emergency house entry number to file. This was missing so that there was no way for emergency help to enter my house if I pressed my emergency button. This was handled very well by the customer representative. She was courteous and professional.

I called Customer Service to check on my order. I have been unable to access my order information online and today Mariah double checked my email address. It seems there was an error in the one you have for me, which she corrected. I had used your chat a couple times over the weekend and Mariah was able to give me the order information and clear up a couple of questions. While I tried to confirm my email address during one of the chats, she said it was the one you have, but it wasn't. It seems that writing the address with the underscores didn't work so well with the chat, as today on the phone she noted you were missing the second underscore. However all seems to be well now. Thanks to Mariah for her information both Friday and today and I'm relieved the system will arrive before I leave for a 12-day trip. My husband will be the user of the system and I worry about him falling as I know he cannot get up on this own.

I ordered a Bay Medical alarm kit for my elderly parents. My mom got the wristband and my dad got necklace. My dad had a hard time with the necklace because it kept coming off when he changed his shirt and he couldn't find it (he's legally blind). Tyler in customer service was nice enough to send a wristband for my dad. I was very happy with your customer service.

I just ordered an In Home Medical Alert System for my elderly uncle from Jessica at Bay Alarm Medical. She was friendly, helpful, and efficient. She answered all of my initial questions and gave me her direct number so I could call when I was ready to place my order. In addition, she explained to me how to use a feature on my smartphone that I did not know how to use. Sometimes younger people are condescending when explaining technology to older people, but Jessica was kind and patient while explaining it to me. I really appreciate that quality in customer service reps. I am looking forward to getting the medical alert system for my uncle and getting it set up. I am confident that if I have any issues with set up, the folks at this company will politely answer my questions.

My mom's wristband has become very loose due to weight loss. She can no longer wear on her wrist, she has to push it up over her elbow, which is very annoying. I asked if there was a smaller band available. I was offered a necklace instead. Rep was very nice and accommodating. She also provided additional helpful information.

Needed communication instructions. Was told how the system works, which I have been frustrated with from the start. I have to go to the room where the base is for anyone to hear me. I am unable to walk without assistance and it takes time to get there. I was under the impression I could talk through the button around my neck.

We were on a billing cycle where they linked us six months in advance. When we realized we didn't need the service anymore we had just been billed for the next six months. They told us that they will not give any prorated refund of that six month prepayment. They seemed happy to point out that this condition is part of the terms and conditions that we signed. Oh well. Enjoy the money that you got from us but didn't earn. Now we can only give out our opinion of your company.

I have not had occasion to use the alarm to date, except once by accident. They evoked an immediate response and within 10 minutes I had fire department, first responders, and an ambulance at my door. I would say that it works!

I recently changed the service from my mom to my mother-in-law and Rico ** was the person who handle the change for me. Everything was transfer immediately and once all the paperwork was received the system was up and running. I don't know how I was able to reach Rico the 3 times I called but it was so much easier to deal with just one person. He was sympathetic to the loss of my mother and eager to help me with the change. Also my calls were answered immediately. I never waited. Thank you Rico!

I had a credit card on record compromised, and needed a reissue of card. Many times, it is hard to remember those accounts that debit the cards we have on automatic payments. I appreciate the "reminder of billing" sent monthly. Helped me remember to call and get update made. In addition, the agent was helpful and friendly.

I spent about one hour on the phone trying to see whether I could get my system to work with the help of Liliane. We were not able to get the problem fixed. The experience was stressful to me because I am 86 yrs old and have heart problems. My daughter fortunately showed up an hour later and she and a friend were able to get the setup to work. What if I needed help after the system stopped working? Liliane was courteous and tried hard to help me. Your tech help failed. As a client I am not responsible for fixing the system. I am a retired doctor and know nothing about electronics. I am dissatisfied and dismayed. What would I do if this happens again?

I called the system as suggested in the tutorial for the GPS model. Mariah helped me with that effort and also answered some questions I had. I'm brand new to Bay Alarm, but am very pleased so far, not only with the product, but the service as well. It's also a very reasonably priced unit, considering what you get.

Monitoring received a low battery alert on my mother's medical alert system. They notified me immediately as I am on the "call list." Monitoring and technical assistance personnel very quickly determined the issue and shipped out a new pendant, which was received in only 2 days. A web search led us to your company. A site compared 10 different medical alert companies and yours was rated #1. My husband and I called on 5/25/17 to order Bay Alarm Medical service/products. Mom is 81, living alone and a fall risk. Bay Alarm Medical Alert System is Excellent. This system is easy to use/set up, affordable, and gives our family some peace of mind. Our uncle is determined to stay in his own home for as long as possible and this allows him to do so. We had to exchange a neck pendant for a wrist band and it was handled quickly and courteously.

Tylor was very helpful and competent. He was able to provide me with more information than I received during my prior call on April 25th. Tylor did some checking and was able to tell me the last location my dad's GPS Unit was so I could call the businesses. I wish I would have had the info with my prior call. I was told it wasn't possible to get that information and that someone would have to activate it in order for Bay Alarm to see where it was. He is a great asset to your Customer Service.

I found Bay Alarm Medical via several web searches on these types of services/devices. I used a chat session to gather information about several of these medical alert services yesterday. Based on information quickly provided by Kelly at BAM, we picked Bay Alarm Medical. Today we called the customer service number to ask a few more questions of Carlos, got answers we liked, and made a purchase. Carlos was very clear, concise and polite - and made some very sensible recommendations on configuring this service with the right equipment for our situation and smoothly placed the order. Based on our sales/purchase experience, I would recommend this company - and Carlos. I expect to receive and install the equipment within 48 hours, and will update this review if there are any surprises.

Hello. I called to verify the order of calls if my mother, Bettye **'s alarm goes off. The reason I did this is that there was a false alarm earlier this week that triggered an ambulance call. The alarm went off 3 times that morning. My mother talked to someone who talked her through resetting it. I found Bay Alarm to be extremely responsive and helpful. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable, friendly and pleasant. All of my questions were always answered to my satisfaction. Also the hardware is of very high quality. I had some trouble with the initial wireless link up, but the tech people literally walked me through it. After a couple of reboots, we were up and running. I had read very good reviews of this company and knew they were very highly rated. I totally agree.

Iliana ** was very diplomatic and thorough. I needed to discuss several issues and research several options and she helped me resolve all of them. My Mom sold her home and is relocating where there is no land line. Iliana gave me a list of land line vendors not compatible which was very useful because if I had gone out and spent $140 on a new OOMA just to find out it was on the unsupported list - it would have wasted a lot of time. She gave me a list of compatible land line vendors and Time Warner was on it or should we say Spectrum.

Very pleased with the experience I had with Bay Alarm. I lost my GPS monitor. It was activated by whomever picked it up. Bay Alarm, not being able to contact me right away, had emergency medical personnel sent to the location of the monitor. Very rapid response. I need to return a base unit that was wrong. It took 3 calls to finally get my return address label sent to me. After receiving it, I mailed it back. IT WAS RETURNED to me with another label in it to return it. I mailed it again. IT CAME BACK TO ME AGAIN. It was labeled correctly and the address is right. I have now called 2 more times and still no label. I have spent so much time on this one box and it is very frustrating. I now have to call again and see if I can get the label because I keep getting letters saying that I will be charged for the unit. PLEASE HELP ME!

Lucky to find this (Natasha Plush Pillowtop Full Size Mattress) on clearance. The buying experience was easy. Luckily I didn't buy this mattress sight unseen since I got to try it out in a store before buying here. I'm on a very limited budget and was able to buy a top-of-the line mattress at an incredible price. Hopefully it lives up to my expectations. I'm hoping it comes with a low profile foundation since I'm short and have difficulty getting into my current bed with is very uncomfortable latex mattress (hard like a rock). I have a 50/50 chance of getting low profile foundation or so I'm told. :)

I acquired the equipment after sustaining a fracture of the femur which limited my mobility in the house to the point that relatives became concerned and urged me to get the equipment in case, as I live alone, I became incapacitated and needed help. It turns out in four months that I have had the equipment it was never necessary for me to use it. Now that I am completely rehabilitated and move freely and travel the equipment is no longer needed. Therefore I am returning it. The equipment is very functional and important in the case of people who have limitations.

Just a Big-O-THANKS. Wife's Bay Alert Medical system works. The wife had two times she hit the wrist button. And both time the system worked as I was told. Even to the point the Fire, EMS. I was called. And they were able to have rapid response. The fact that I have to work to keep insurance. This unit gives me a bit of peace of mind. Knowing that if need be, she will have help coming and I will know and be on my way to her. I purchased this with the thought that "I hope this will be the worst investment we will ever make." meaning that we would not ever use/need it. Not thinking the peace of mind has almost made us feel like it paid for itself. One of the best choices we have made. Again THANKS!

Recently, I had some trouble with my unit. The unit was malfunctioning plus the power for my pendant battery was low. But something troubled me quite a bit... I received one call while I was 2 floors downstairs. My unit had gone off and Bay asked me if I was ok. I explained the issue and that was that. Later that day, I had to talk with tech again and he told me both calls had been cleared. I only received one call and yet 2 calls were on record. Why didn't I receive 2 calls from Bay to verify I was all right, not just one call.
Also, the time between when the Help button is depressed and the time when the dispatcher answers is extraordinarily long. In extreme examples, a person could have a heart attack or stroke and die. A burglar could take his/her time to break into a house. Luckily, I've only used the Help button to test the unit, but that is when I'm under no stress and can adequately assess the time actually taken to answer an "emergency" call. I know when you're in need of help, a minute can seem like an hour. Until this problem is rectified, Bay Alarm should not advertise their medical alarm as an emergency alarm system.

The alarm system was not plugged in properly. They said they called me. On my phone there is 2 missed calls. There was nothing on my voicemails. I am just a little concern that if my husband fell he would have laid there until I came home. I know it's my responsibility to see if it's plugged in but I pay to have you responsible as well. I was not happy with the response of the person that I talked to. I think you should made sure that someone was contacted. Myself or my son.

Kihana was very patient in answering my list of questions after my father did his initial setup and tests. I asked about his information form and she had me email it to her again to be sure they had it. She explained to me how the translation service works. She explained the times and process for responding to a possible fall. She gave me suggestions on how to possibly test for fall detection and offered for customer service to be on the phone during the testing if we need help. She was so reassuring and respectful. It was easy to get this. Easy to use. I ordered the wrist band, then decided I wanted the pendant instead. Called, no problem. The pendant is lightweight, unobtrusive. I wear it all the time. My help box began making a strange noise. It then transferred the noise to my landline phone. The buzzing became so loud that I pushed the help button to report it. For the next hour I continued to get connected to the helpline every 5 minutes or so without my calling. Each time I asked them to disconnect but apparently they were unable to.

We couldn't be more pleased with Bay Alarm Medical Alert System. Gives the family a little peace of mind knowing our Mom is never really alone when we can't be there. I think she benefits from the same feeling. It's a win-win situation for us. Received the unit and tried testing in various locations. I am hard of hearing and wanted to be sure I could hear the unit. GPS device was not always accurate in my location. After contacting your company and doing several tests I felt more confident using this unit. Discussing the issues with my family we decided to keep the unit. Having this GPS creates a feeling of comfort when leaving the house.

The cord on my button broke, and Mariah assisted me in resetting up the replacement button. She also informed me about the benefits of having the "fall button" feature, and recommended that I discuss the issue of my need for this feature with my family. This I will do before making my decision.

I got the alert system for my 85 year old mom because she wanted the security of knowing she could easily call for help if something happens such as a fall. Thankfully she hasn't had to use it but she tests the equipment once a month. What I love is that so far all the people in the call center have had clear and easily-understood voices. My mom is hard of hearing and has problems understanding strong accents-- that has not been an issue.
She's had the system about 3 months and once the monitoring service detected a fault on her line. They called but when she didn't answer, they called the people on her contact list which was greatly appreciated. We were able to determine that her system was working fine. We have been very impressed with the thoughtful and very professional people we have spoken to and the system brings a great peace of mind to all of us and our mom. She recently decided to upgrade to the fall detection system after suffering several bouts of vertigo. Great system and company.

My stepmother accidentally pushed the button on her alarm system. After some confusion we were able to reach Bay Alarm. Their response was calm, reassuring and helped us defuse a false alarm situation. The false alarm gave us more awareness on how the system works. More importantly, it showed us the professionalism of the Bay Alarm operator in dealing with this situation. Our monthly calls were always very delightful and people were quite helpful. Thankfully Frances never had to use it but made her feel safe. Not happy with the fact that we will be unable to get a refund on 3 months advance in payment. Not sure why you are unable to continue taking off your customers at the end of their service. I have recommended you but now will tell them to pay monthly.

It would be better if I could update my billing online. I would also like a log-in account where I could update my information. This account would also have a log of calls that I could review. This is an option that most companies I deal with have available. My security system for my house allows me to update information and view logs.

This was so easy to set up. Mom was happy to see that the "necklace" is smaller than what she was expecting. The associate we spoke when connecting the unit with Bay Alarm was very nice and helpful, making sure that all of our questions were answered. I have your medical cellular device and am very pleased with the service I have received to date. I recently ordered an additional service that will be more helpful when at home and on the lawn. The customer service representative was very thorough and helpful with this upgraded service. Empathic would be my word of choice in meeting my needs and being able to show and express this in her conversation with me. Many times I have dealt with individuals with other organizations that have a difficult time when dealing with older individuals.

I was satisfied with my help calls, but the alarm box still will not call your center. I woke to hearing a humming noise from the box at about 1 am... and called to see if it could be checked. My phone was dead that was connected to the box, but came back on by morning when I called the phone company. I was told that my phones are fine, and the phone jacks were all working properly. Then one of your tech helpers asked me to move the unit and phone to another jack. That didn't work. I was also asked to check the phone jack and the wall plug in the bedroom where it was originally located. I had a really difficult time trying to unplug everything and move things. I am unable to stand very long and use a walker. Complicated by shaking hands that couldn't get behind my bed. But... I did it, and it still would not work.
Your representative was trying to cover all options, but nothing worked. Her last suggestion was to attach the phone and box to my internet modem. I could not do that. My computer is in a desk, and I cannot crawl around to run lines behind the desk. So... the box still won't call out. She also asked if I had a block for 800 numbers, but the phone company said no. I called on my cell but did try to call an 800 number on the landline, and that worked. My grandson is coming to see what he can do, but I really think the problem is with my alarm box. The whole thing was very difficult for me, but I appreciated that the representative was trying so hard to find the problem. She was patient and attentive.
