Doing business with Bay Alarm Medical was straightforward and easy. Their services seem comparable to others in the market and much more favorably priced. All pre-sales dialog was very professional and equipment and documents arrived just as promised. At this point, I have only good things to say about your company.

I was told when I called in order to get the advertised rate, I would have to do the 3 month billing cycle. I was never told that if I terminated the account for any reason, including death, that I would be charged for the remainder of the billing cycle even though I returned the equipment in new condition. I called to discontinue my service as it is not being used, and was told I would still be charged the whole billing cycle even though I was not using the service and returned the equipment. I was never told this and it is not clear in the contract.
I have read and re-read the contract and it is not stated that if the service is discontinued before the end of the billing cycle the person will not get any money back for services they are not providing. This seems illegal and I will check the law on this. I do not think businesses can charge for services not rendered. Customer service said they could and it was in the contract but I do not see it in mine. The system worked fine, but their business of charging people money who are not longer receiving their services is wrong.

Happy with monthly service but unhappy with the inability to buy extra "necklaces or bracelets" via the website. Should be a simple thing to do to be able to note your order or account number and get extra devices when they get lost.

We have been very pleased with the courtesy and knowledge of everyone we have had contact with, whether our initial inquiry or the final order. When making a monthly test, or when I pressed the alarm button by accident, I was greeted in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner.

I have had this system for a few months now. It was easy to set up & Bay Alarm even gave me a follow up call to make sure I was all set. :) Now, when my partner goes to work or elsewhere we both feel secure about me being alone (with my necklace on). I have not had to use it thankfully, but it's great knowing they are there!

I feel much better having this. My son spends most of his time with me. But when he's working, I just feel more secure knowing I'm just a button away from help. I had a fall before this and it took me 20 minutes to get off the floor and to a phone... Thank you for being there.

Nancy had to use the system 3 times and in every situation Bay Alarm Medical was very prompt in making their contacts to get Nancy help. Monique ** was very helpful in processing the cancellation of service for my Father-In-Law, James **. Mr. ** lives about 300 miles away from us in a small town of about 600 people. The Bay Alarm Medical was great to ensure he could get help when needed. As his health failed over the past few weeks, he used the bracelet alarm about 3 times to summon help to his home. Mr. ** has since moved to a VA Home for ongoing care. Thank you for your service to him over the years.

I checked out at least 8 different Medical Alert systems before choosing Bay Alarm. After receiving the unit and pendant by UPS, I was concerned that I had connected my unit properly. I found out it worked when I unplugged it from the phone, etc. and plugged it in again. I received two calls asking if I were OK -- the Center had noted a change. I talked to Bay representative a day or two ago and we discussed any problem I might have by not connecting through my modem -- I have the Time Warner Cable bundle setup. A tech from TWC came to my home and said my setup was okay because my modem is stationary in a room far away from my Bay Alarm unit. The Bay rep was extremely helpful explaining any possible problem. She was so easy to talk to -- a top employee, I am sure.
This afternoon I received a call about a message I had left via a note on the computer. I said everything was OK. The rep reminded me about wearing my pendant and checking the system monthly. I told her all my papers had been faxed early this morning to Bay Alarm so everything should be in order. How wonderful to have great employees like Karina, Katie, and Kesha who keep checking with new Bay Alarm customers and are available to answer questions. Bay Alarm Medical is tops in my book!

I am very disappointed in the "billing policies" related to the death of a subscriber prior to the end of their prepaid service term. As a business owner myself, I just can't fathom how Bay Alarm Medical, in good conscience, can make it their "policy" to NOT refund the unused portion of a yearly prepaid service when the subscribed person DIES before the end of that prepaid term?
I even enclosed a death certificate with the returned unit -- as per the email request I received when I called in to cancel the service (which, by the way -- your company lost when they unpacked the returned unit) -- showing when the subscribed person died and all your billing department did was berate me for not returning the unit faster. Really? I've lost a loved one and that is Bay Alarm's response?? With your policy as it stands you are essentially robbing the dead by not refunding the unused portion of their prepaid service periods and that is just tacky and wrong -- shame on you Bay Alarm Medical.

I'm new and for the most part am very pleased. Would you please notify your GPS manufacturer, they need to do something so we know when it is on or off. Right now it is really scary going out and being not sure whether it's on or off?? When I come back in the house, did I turn it off? We need a new light for this. Red - Off. Green - On.

This means that if it is always charging at home, when you leave it will continue to stay on until it dies in approximately 48-72 hours. She almost sent it back. She is 96 years old. Very independent. She hated the rope. Not very attractive (I think the older we get, the vainer we get, lol). She decided to keep the system. The range of coverage is ultimate. She knows it works now!

Couldn't figure out how to hook it up (We have a bundled package. Don't have a phone line outlet room with modem). Was ready to send unit back but thought to call for assistance. We are so glad we bought this alarm from Bay. My father in law does not live with us half of the year. One day he fell and could not get up. A friend where he lives sees him in the morning and found him on the floor and called 911. He was ok after that we bought the Bay Alarm and was glad we did. He has had some false alarms but all is well.

I handle the affairs of your customer, Billie **. He is my dad. Your company was missing the signed copy of our agreement so I called and asked them to email me another copy. The first email arrived without the attachment. No big deal. I called again and the customer service rep sent it right out. Occasionally, my dad accidentally presses his beeper when going about his business. When you guys call to check in to see if there is an emergency your company is always very nice to him.

Our power on the power strip went down and we lost power to the system. It was on back-up battery but we weren't sure if the system was still working. We have called customer service a few times within the last week, and everyone we have spoken to has been more than courteous, accommodating, and helpful. This unit was ordered for my husband. He suffers from dementia and is slipping rapidly into the next phase. He also has lost the use of his body. He resides in a nursing home now and we have no further need for this unit. The service was spot on. We did not need to use it much, but it was always there and the response was fast. My blind and feeble 90+ mother wore a Bay Alarm pendant for year and a half. The service was invaluable in getting aid to her promptly whenever needed. First it was 911 call for aid when she still lived alone, and fell or felt weak or frightened. We moved her to an assisted living facility but continued the service, using it for in-house staff response whenever she needed help in her room. That facility finally installed its own equivalent alarm system for all its residents, so we no longer need Bay Alarm.
The call center was prompt in responding to each of her calls, and keeping me informed of each incident. The technical support was good on those rare occasions such as a power failure or other reason to reset the system in her room. The loudspeaker in the base unit could be improved as the sound is loud enough but somewhat garbled. I understood it better than Mom with her weaker hearing. But their protocol always led to calling for help whether they understood her or not, so it was all OK. Customer service staff was always helpful, such as when I had to temporarily change contact phone numbers between us siblings when I traveled, and return to original settings later. And I found no lower priced service anywhere.

The personnel at Bay Alarm Medical are always courteous and sincere about my welfare. Bay Alarm saved my life last March. I have asthma and had had a heart attack 8 years ago. I suddenly couldn't breathe & couldn't find my inhaler. I pushed the button & woke up on life support two weeks later. I was told the paramedics found me on the floor with no pulse. The hospital found my lung had collapsed. Everyone praised Bay Alarm Medical - including the EMT's and my family.

I called to cancel service today ONLY because my father is now residing in a nursing home. Your product worked on several occasions for him, dialing 911. The operators have always been very helpful and the front door lock box is a great idea. Every time the EMT/Police always had the correct access code and were able to enter the house without a problem.

Only been with service for a few months but have no complaints. We ordered a necklace button and got the wristband instead, but they made the switch out painless and easy. Everyone that we have spoken to and dealt with have been super nice so far. Have not had to actually use the service yet but we have done several "tests" to make sure we were set up correctly and the service was great.

We dealt with a unit being transferred back and forth from Texas to Florida with my grandmother. We couldn't seem to get it to work at all. After connecting with Ashley in the warehouse she walked my aunt through the issues on her end. Then she called and walked me through it as well. She was patient with all of us and went above and beyond. She set a appointment time so we could call back in and make sure she was available. I would recommend Bay Alarm Medical to anyone looking for an in-home rapid response system. Ordering was quick and easy. The unit arrived very quickly and was so simple to set up. Tested in various areas of the house and the agent was always courteous and helpful. Have not had to use in an emergency situation yet (and hope we don't), but I feel confident if we do, everything will be handled very professionally. My husband is using the wristband and it's so comfortable, he has never taken it off. He even wears it in the shower and it still functions accurately. Great company!

My mother has been a customer of Bay Alarm for about 9 months. They recently changed the phone system in her retirement community and attached her base unit to a new dedicated phone line. When she tested her system it did not work because of the changes in the phone programming. I was not at her home but was able to contact Bay Alarm and work with them to determine the change that occurred. They adjusted the programming to accommodate the phone system change. Bay Alarm contacted my mother and walked her through testing her system, ensuring that it was operating. As a final follow up they also called me to confirm that everything was operational. I really appreciate their knowledge, patience and follow-up.

I just wanted to say that I have contacted your customer service via chat twice. I got Bryan both times. He was fantastic. He answered all my questions quickly. He gave me some extra info that was actually very useful to me and I just didn't know to ask the right questions to get it. The one thing I have to say, which is a slight drawback, and not at all Bryan's doing, is sometimes he was slow to respond and I'm guessing he is dealing with more than one chat at a time. I know other companies do this too. I don't like it. I think it makes the representative seem slow to respond when really he is handling several calls at once. Bryan was awesome. I ordered a home monitoring service for my 91 year old father in about March 2014. Bay Alarm was cordial and efficient in making the arrangements and we began service in late March. To save on the monthly monitoring costs, I paid for one year in advance. Unfortunately, my father barely used the service before he became ill and began a series of hospital visits. He ultimately passed away only a few weeks later, on May 1, 2014.
After the funeral, etc., I phoned Bay Alarm to let them know that I no longer needed the monitoring service. I asked them for a pro-rated refund of the balance of the one-year monitoring service but they said there were no refunds available. I was surprised to hear that even if I returned all of the equipment so that they could re-use it during the rest of the year. They would not refund me for any of the 10+ months of service I paid for but would not be using. Oh well, I thought. I asked my elderly (but still spry) mother to send back the unused monitoring device to Bay Alarm.
In late February 2015, I got a notice from Bay Alarm that my service contract would be automatically renewed beginning in March 2015 for $239.40. I wrote back to Bay Alarm to remind them that I had cancelled the service the previous May. Then, in April 2015, I received another notice acknowledging that Bay Alarm "received notification that a request was made to cancel the referenced account due to the loss of a family member" and that to complete the cancellation request, I needed to return the monitoring equipment and to send Bay Alarm a copy of the death certificate.
This was the first time I heard of Bay Alarm's purported need for a copy of the death certificate but I promptly wrote back and included a certified copy. I also had not realized that my mother had neglected to return the equipment to Bay Alarm so I went to her residence, found the device in a closet and promptly sent it back to Bay Alarm. Despite all of this, Bay Alarm is insisting that I have a balance due on my account for $239.40, which apparently is the cost for another year of monitoring service, which they know I cannot use.
To sum up: I pre-paid nearly $240 for one year of Bay Alarm monitoring services but my father actually used the service for about 2-3 weeks before he went into the hospital and then for a few days between hospital visits; I actually cancelled the service with Bay Alarm both orally and in writing prior to the renewal of the contract term. Bay Alarm acknowledged the cancellation in a letter dated April 10, 2015. I followed all of Bay Alarm's demands for cancellation (death certificate, return of all equipment) but they nevertheless have demanded that I pay for one full year of additional service (for March 2015-March 2016), which they will not be providing since I have no monitoring equipment nor need for the service.
Worse yet and to add insult to injury, Bay Alarm has now ignored all of my attempts to try to resolve this situation and sent the matter to collection. My credit has been or will be damaged as a result of Bay Alarm refusing to simply cancel out my account. I am still hoping someone from Bay Alarm reads this and addresses this profoundly unfair situation. If they do, I will amend this review. But if they don't, I will feel it to be my duty to warn as many people as I can about their sharp business practices.

The system is very good and fairly priced. Though there is an occasional cell service issue. I have found some comfort with the product since Dad came home from rehab.
Updated on 9/22/2015: Got an email that Dad's fall detection button was recalled, and waited 1 week for substitute. Though there will be some charges credited to account, there apparently is no actual timetable for their "acceptable" technology. I am happy with all service, and I have heard mixed reviews about "fall detection" industry-wide. I have faith in this product despite the everpresent unhappy consumer with a lawyer.

Whenever there is a temporary telephone or electrical outage they call to tell us there was a temporary phone or electrical outage. On the customer's number, the contact people's numbers, and cell phone numbers. This is a rural area; there are numerous temporary outages. In one case, the elderly person blocked Bay Medical's number from ringing at her house because of the nuisance of being dragged in her limited mobility state to answer their nuisance calls, which defeats the purpose of the system. If there is a persistent outage then it's in everyone's safety interest to alert us of it. But when the outage has already been restored it's a totally pointless, useless, and frustrating exercise in irritation to call and tell us about it.

Ordered service with lanyard alarm button but wanted to see the bracelet button. Talked to sales department and they advised I could order bracelet button and return it if I didn't like it. The day it arrived, I contacted Bay Alarm to notify them that I had decided to keep lanyard button and needed return instructions for the bracelet. Contradictory to what they originally told me, they said I could NOT return the button because I had used the service for over 14 days even though the bracelet did not arrive until after the 14 day limit. If I had known this up-front, I would not have ordered the bracelet to begin with. This seems very deceptive to me.

The sound quality on the box you provide is not very good and your agents talk very loud resulting in distortion. It is sometimes very hard to understand them. It would also help if they enunciate clearly.

From my first phone conversation with Bay Medical, I knew they were the right choice for my mom's medical alert device. Their first question to me was, "Why do I feel she needs one?" We have had no problems with it. They invite us to test it monthly and are courteous and helpful every time we speak with them. The system was easy to set up, is simple, and the wristband is comfortable. Mom is very pleased and feels secure and safe. The price is the best value I found. I don't know how I could have made any other choice. We are 100% pleased.

I leased a medical alarm from this company for my sister who was going through chemo. She passed away in May, and I called to cancel my service, but was told that they will only cancel after they receive the equipment. She lived in Seattle and I live in Denver. My nephew sent me a text just after her death telling me he would take care of it the next day and didn't, so I thought it was taken care of. My former brother-in-law and I parted and bad terms, and he won't send it back. I have no control over getting their equipment back to them and I understand that it's fair that they be reimbursed for it, but think it should have been pay for the equipment OR be charged for service, not BOTH. There are plenty of other companies offering this service and these people are jerks. Look elsewhere!
Updated on 08/27/2015: This is my second review of Bay Alarm. I was and am unhappy with them as after my sister passed away, and no longer need their service, I couldn't get them to cancel. Their call center offered no sympathy at all and it was basically 'tough, pay up!' I ended up paying over $200 for the leased equipment and they're still trying to charge me a monthly service fee. After my first review, they responded. Publicly they are so sorry for my loss and trying to buy a higher rating. BUT - they are still charging me monthly fee. I had to cancel my credit card this morning. I suppose being sent to collections will be next and after I fight that maybe I can grieve for my sister.

I do not consider the matter resolved, in fact I just had to cancel the credit card associated with Bay Alarm as you continue to bill me. You didn't make a specific refund offer, but my dealings with you show you are not to be trusted. Many people who need this service are potentially facing loosing a loved one and I think letting them know how insensitive your people are with those who are grieving is worth more than whatever your version of a 'rebate' is.

The day I initially contacted Bay Alarm, I was impressed by how pleasant and knowledgeable the customer service rep was. Since then, my mother has accidentally set off her personal alarm. She was panic stricken the first time, but when the representative's voice came over the box and spoke with her, she was put at ease immediately. She apologized repeatedly and the man who was on the Bay Alarm side reassured her that his only concern was her well-being; that went a long way with my mom. She has confidence that any call for help will be responded to quickly and by someone who is compassionate and interested in her safety.

I am writing on behalf of my mother, June **. I ordered this for her because she lives alone and fell. Within the first week of wearing it, the EMTs showed up at her door three times in response to the alarm. She said she never pushed the button. It seems like the device was too sensitive. As a result, she was afraid to wear it and sent it back. She did call before she returned it to complain. Someone told her they would send a technician to look at it, but they never did. My siblings and I are disappointed in the results of this endeavor.

I have been very happy with Bay Alarm Medical service. I am currently laid up with a broken leg/foot and unable to bear weight on my leg. So there was some concern with my family as to what would happen if I fell since I live alone. My son set up the service for me. I have accidentally called them a couple of times but their customer service department has been very patient and concerned for me when I do. They check on me to make sure I am ok. When I pushed the button for a true emergency one day, they had the emergency responders at my house within minutes! They are very professional and caring in the customer service department. I found that most medical alarm outfits have misleading advertising. Bay Alarm wasn't as bad as some, but it says there is free equipment rental. Then when you make your order, you find out that if the equipment falls and breaks, it costs an exorbitant fee, much more than the simple equipment costs, I'm sure, to replace it. So I had to buy replacement insurance. There might have been another added fee, I can't remember - I just remember it being more expensive than advertised. And I had to buy both the pendant and the wrist piece - other companies give you both so that if the user has problems with one, you can use the other. When we tried out the system, it worked fine.

My fall was out by the driveway; no-one in sight, a neighbor walking by heard me shout, so I was OK. Now I'm not worried about a fall when out of sight & earshot.

Do not use Bay Alarm. Their customer service is horrible and their device is not reliable for their medical alert system. We purchased a subscription for my father, who lives alone, a couple of years ago after he had a fall in his home. Several weeks ago my father passed out and hit his head and hurt his shoulder. He was unable to get up and repeatedly tried to activate neck lanyard. The device never worked. Luckily my brother-in-law found him after several hours. After calling 911 and attending to my father, he also tried to activate the neck lanyard and it did not activate. Only after pressing the button on the unit did it activate. Then the neck lanyard did work.
Several days later, as my father was hospitalized, I tried to activate the system using the neck lanyard. It again did not work. Their tech support was able to re-sync the neck lanyard but was unable to explain why it became un-synced. After being transferred to customer service and speaking to an agent and a supervisor I was unable to get any help. The supervisor Lynetta was particularly difficult and refused to listen to or acknowledge my concerns. They refused to send a new unit and neck lanyard. They refused to acknowledge the system did not work. They refused any type of refund for the trouble. Lynetta had the nerve to say "he could have pushed the button on the main box". If he could have gotten to the box he could have gotten to a phone. Terrible customer service. Don't risk your loved ones lives with this company.

I have accidentally set off the alarm more than once, and I apologize for that. Fortunately, I have not had a medical emergency yet but plan to supply friends with keys just in case. My son chose this service, he lives in LA. It's too soon to judge.

We decided to protect my father after my mother died recently. My father accidentally hit the button while outside and after they tried reaching him and couldn't, they called all the numbers that I had provided. We were glad to find out it wasn't an emergency but we also glad that we were alerted so fast. I was glad we had chosen Bay Alarm. Another time, I got a call saying they had no signal on his system but the electricity was out. That made me feel good to know they were monitoring it so closely.

I cancelled my Bay Alarm Account early this year because I thought I needed the fall detection necklace, which at that time, Bay Alarm did not have. At the time I cancelled, I did not know that I would lose the money that I had paid for the rest of the year. However, it was my own fault for not reading the whole agreement or asking what happened if I cancelled before my contract was up. Well, it turns out that I really didn't need the fall detection at this time, so I decided to go back to Bay Alarm because their prices were better than the company I was with. When Kala told my situation to her managers, they gave her permission to give me 3 months free service since I had given up so many months of paid service when I transferred. They didn't have to do that, but I did appreciate it so very much. I will be staying with Bay Alarm. They are also very polite and considerate when you call to speak with them. As a new customer I have had 3 surprises. There was no emergency. However the alarm went off and scared me. With 1 the phone rang 3 times. I thought someone called the wrong number since it was 10 pm. I have a walking problem and can never get to the phone that fast. 20 minutes later there were 6 people in my home to see how I was. Called your company the following day. Have found out the system does work.

My 90-year mother, who resists technology, wears the wrist bracelet as a type of 'wearable' insurance should something happen that requires emergency assistance. It has been approximately three weeks since I paid for my Mother's yearly service and ordered a replacement wristwatch remote for my 90-year-old Mother. I ordered the replacement wristwatch remote due to warnings from your company that the battery was low and that the Unit MUST be replaced. My Mother, by the way, is totally dependent on her pacemaker and must have remote ability to request assistance in an emergency. I called a week or so ago since my Mother had not received the wristwatch remote replacement, and was told the wristwatch remotes were not available, were back ordered, and there was no date when they could be expected. I was not told they were unavailable when I paid the bill.
Again, I had not been contacted by anyone at your company to tell me the replacement was not available. It has still not arrived. Three weeks after it was ordered, and now 5 weeks after it needed to be replaced due to low battery warnings. I just called your company again, and again, I have been told "not available, back ordered, no idea when you'll get more." I have been told no other button or remote will work with the model sold to my Mother. There is apparently no solution being offered by your company. So, apparently she is going to be without the protection that per your contract, you are obligated to provide. I am calling back tomorrow to speak with a Supervisor. This is unacceptable.

Customer service representative, Kayla, was fantastic! She walked me through the steps to set up the system, answered all my questions and was very warm and patient throughout the process. I would highly recommend her. My only note would be to remind service reps that the terms and equipment are unfamiliar to a first-time user and thus, cannot take for granted that a customer would necessarily know what terms you are referring to (especially since rep may have done this hundreds of times). For example, the term for the help box...is it console, unit, box? And the terms for the wearable buttons? It might be worth updating the set up instructions to include pictures and terms of these as well (they are not listed).

Called to explain that mother-in-law was not able to use the alert device... Did not have the mental capacity to remember to push button if she fell... So not helpful to us after all. Asked if we could cancel membership and get a pro-rated refund... Was told we could not... But we could transfer it to someone else who could use it??? Ummm... Not helpful. Asked if we had not yet signed the hard copy of the paperwork agreement. Were we still bound to it... Was told yes because of "section 5" that we had checked online. Asked for a copy of that... Was told it could not be given out. Also instructed to return all equipment by end of 6 month paid period. Rep was "upbeat and positive." She tried to give me all answers that I requested, although she seemed a bit stumped with some and had to put me on hold to research, and talked over me at times, but I believe that may have something to do with the phone system as there seemed to be a "delay."

Ordered the system w/ additional smoke and CO detectors in early May; although it's only been installed since early June. My most significant complaint is that there is no printed User Guide/Instruction Manual for the unit. In addition, the Cancel Light on the base unit has routinely come on since installation, requiring me to press in order to clear it. Overall, I have been please with the Customer Service staff (extremely courteous and helpful) and one incident with Tech Support that was not as great. In testing the unit (a few times) I found the response to be good and the call center staff extremely courteous and professional.

The alarm worked well for my mother, the problem that I had was with the billing. I am the one who set up getting this for my mother, my bank account was the one being drafted. I called to find out about returning the system as my mother is moving to be closer to me and they emailed my mom with a cancellation notice and said when she needed to return the system. My mother went ahead and returned the system so I didn't have any additional charges.
I called today to see when they would be issuing a credit for the 2 months. They told me they do not prorate and won't reimburse me for the unused months. Had they contacted me since it is MY BANK ACCOUNT and I set this up instead of contacting my elderly mother who didn't understand, she would of continued to have the alarm until she moved. I now have my mother living 3 hours away, in a rented house where she knows nobody with no alarm that I already paid the monthly fee for. WATCH THEM IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL. They are not consumer friendly, only worry about collecting money.

I have no complaints. I do think it would be nice if I could turn down the volume on the base unit. If you are in the same room it becomes a little distorted because the volume overdrives the speaker. Other than that the response time is very very fast. Keep up the good work!

I wish Bay Alarm Medical would include an instruction manual in the box the Mobile GPS Help Button comes in. I am never sure it's on. Yes it does vibrate but when I put it on the charger does it turn itself off? What do the green and red lights signify? The yellow I believe has something to do with signal strength. A manual would be a big help.

There is an issue with the coverage in my father's area. Although I was told it would be fine, the red light is often seen flashing. I do know it works as my father accidentally hit the wristband while getting in or out of his shower and he yelled he didn't need anyone to come, but firemen showed up anyway while he was nude getting dressed and scared and embarrassed him. So now I have issues making sure he is wearing it.

I don't call very often, but do call now and then just to make sure the system is working properly. After I push the button on my necklace, it takes nearly 3 minutes before anyone answers and asked if I need assistance. If I pushed the button because of an intruder, that could have meant my life. I thought Bay was going to answer within a minute. You need to speed up the process of answering, if I was having a heart problem I could have gone into arrest before you got to my call. I will look into other companies prior to renewing my subscription.

It is nice to know that this company does actually care. Although I had a terrible experience with the "Manager" who refused to even attempt to resolve my issue, I did receive a call from **, Customer Relations Manager, who was apologetic and did resolve everything. The first manager was a "1", the second manager a "10".
I will say that the service they offer is excellent, I have never had an issue and it gives me great piece of mind for my Mother. I would however caution others to be weary of the contract they sign and the automatic renewal. I would like to tell the company that with the excellent services they offer, they really shouldn't need to force the renewals the way they do, it only makes them look bad.

I pay for this service for my my mother and pay once yearly. Long after signing with Bay alarms, I was sent a follow up "agreement" which I should have read. I did not see that they had auto deducted a 1 year fee on the 20th of May. I have been planning to move my mom in with me for months. I called on the 6th of June to tell them I needed to go on a month to month since she will be moving in with me in the next couple months.
They are keeping my money!!! They only offered to reduce me to a 6 month premium. I was a couple days past the new "agreement" terms. Now I've read the small print and it seems I've given them the ability to do whatever they want with my credit card. I'm an idiot!!! I am furious. If you don't watch your bank account daily, the new agreement they "require" you to sign is all for their benefit. You must notify them 30 days before the end of a prior agreement or they get to charge you for another year. What if God forbid she had died?? They still get to charge you and keep it! I FEEL SCAMMED. Do not sign up!! They will keep your money too like me.

I haven't needed to use your service yet, but have made practice calls with and for my husband to familiarize him with the procedure in case he needs to. The calls I have made have been answered in a timely and professional manner and I am very pleased with your service.
