I was desperate to replace a fridge, and online I saw the Lowe's at 4531 Woodrow Bean Transmountain, El Paso, TX had one. Needing to be sure, I called that store to confirm they had the one available in the area. After trying to get through the awful automated system and a couple of members who couldn't help, I ended up with a great guy named ** at the Pro Desk.

Before I go on, I have to say I had stopped being a loyal Lowe's customer after more than a few bad customer experiences at various Lowe's. But ** - not only did what I needed, he pulled the fridge, rang it up, and had it ready to load when I arrived. He had called me back twice to confirm details, and was absolutely the nicest and most professional associate I have dealt with anywhere. And as a testament to his character, 3 other customers on their way out the store created him by name, with hand shakes and thanks. Make him in charge - his attitude will turn your stores around. Thanks **!

I am writing to recognize the outstanding service I received from David in the lumber department this past Sunday at the Marble Falls Lowe's. He went above and beyond to assist me by cutting a cedar trellis so that it would fit perfectly into a corner of my fence. Thanks to his help, I was able to weave my cross vine through it, and the growing cross vine looks beautiful along the fence line. Please pass along my sincere thanks to David for his kindness and exceptional assistance.

I went into the Lowe's Store at 1900 East Valley View Parkway(1098) on 7/13/26 to ge some paint samples and other things and I talked to John S. in the paint department about color matching a certain blue which is very hard to do as it is a military color from 1851 that is still used today in some of their awards, I didn't have a very big sample. Just a pin off of my hat and he said he would give it a try. It came out pretty good, not completely correct but it was the best I have ever seen so I was happy, went home. Painted it on a stick of wood and it just didn't look right, so I painted it on a chrome plated rod to see what it would look like and to my amazement it was perfect.

I later went back to tell him and told him that if we would have used glossy paint it would have worked on wood also, not his fault as samples don't come in gloss. I have worked in paint before for Home Depot and have matched a lot of colors, but John is a magician behind that counter, and I will buy paint from no other, great job John and I look forward to dealing with you more.

I am so happy to give this review of Matt at the Lake St. Louis Lowe's store! We ordered two Koehler toilets, the plumber picked them up and brought them in to install. First one was perfect, opens the second box to install the second toilet, missing one of the two bolts for the tank and no toilet seat. So I went up to the store and Spoke with Matt, who stopped his lunch hour to come help me. First of all, I appreciated that as my plumber was waiting for me to return on the clock. Matt took care of the situation and got me the missing parts. I am forever grateful to him! I do have a Lowe’s credit card and I will be back for more business with Lowe’s!

My wife and I recently embarked on a rather complicated project which included completely removing our deck and building a new one. We decided to stop at Lowe’s and get a feel for the materials available and costs associated to a project like ours. As we entered the store Lowe’s pro sales specialist, Tony Pisano ask if he could be of help. It was certainly our great luck to have had this chance meeting because he has become an unbelievable source of information and guidance. he simplified the composite board menu available to us and helped us make the right choice. He also suggested other materials that would be needed with this type of wood. He helped find the best prices and delivery options available to us. His advice has resulted in our saving quite a bit of money and knowing that he is only a phone call away if we have a concern is a real confidence builder for us.

We also want to give a shout out to Alina **, 8another pro sales specialist from Lowe’s who gave up her lunch hour to help us with our project and convert our existing account to a Lowe’s pro (business) account, which gave us even more savings. It’s our hope that our compliments will filter from management back to Tony and Alina with thanks for being such dedicated Lowe’s employees and their importance to attracting and keeping customers.

We had a delivery of FloriMulch from the Lowe's located at 7395 52ND PLACE East in Bradenton, FL today. The driver pulled up in a white van, unloaded the mulch, and then pulled a wooden pallet out of his van and threw it in our yard. He left the pallet next to the mulch. I called the store to report this and got caught in a loop with the store AI assistant for more than twenty minutes before being put on hold for an associate. This generated a message the store was experiencing longer than expected hold times with an estimated wait of thirty minutes. In the past we have received excellent service from this store, and understand the drivers are contract. It amazes us though that when an issue like this occurs, it is so difficult to speak to a human being without driving to the store in person.

On 11/08/2026 I placed an on-line order for a Signature 100 19-Gallon Compact Hot Water Heater and recommended Installation Kit. With my military Discount that portion of my order came to $341.10. I also purchased some a few other items for me to complete the installation process. The total for the entire order came to $418.92. I checked with my bank and Lowe's had done a Pre-Authorization of $418.92 for the entire order. Then about 45 minutes later Lowe's did another Pre-Authorization of $341.10 for the Hot Water Heater & Install Kit.

The cost of the Hot Water Heater & Install Kit had already been included in the initial Pre-Authorization of $418.92. In other words Lowe's Pre-Authorized my account twice for the Hot Water Heater & Install Kit thus tying up $760.02 when the order total was $418.92. This caused my bank account balance to drop below what I needed to cover other payments/checks that were outstanding. Then although both Pre-Authorization had gone through Lowe's started sending me Payment Declined notices asking me to update my payment method.

I spent almost 3 hours on the phone with two different customer support reps who told me there was nothing they could do other than tell me to wait 72 hours for the Pre-Authorizations to drop off and that if I didn't update the payment method the order would automatically be canceled. What a nightmare! Lowe's programming on-line management needs to get their shit together. As of now I will Never do business with lowe's again!

By far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with Lowe's. I wanted new windows put into my home. I contact Lowe's and within a couple of days had a salesperson come out to the house, named Jim. This was early June 2026. Went over what I wanted, broke down cost etc. I agreed to the contract. He stated in a few days the installers would come out and double-check his measurements. That took a month before they came. Then had a delivery of July 24th, ok good. Then that was pushed back to the end of August. That did not please me. Then it was pushed to November 6th, no way this is when I blew up. Back and forth, never with the same person, and always a different story/reason what was going on.

I already had made my first payment with really knowing when the work would be done. That is when I demanded my money back. Then all of a sudden the manager was able to make things happen. Today, 9/11/2026, the installers came out with the windows to finish the job that started over 3 months ago. KC and his crew did fine work; no issues with them. They are not Lowe's employees. I had told Jim I was getting ready to do a lot of work at my house to get it on the market to sell. Lowe's has lost a lot of money, next was flooring, then painting etc. Never will I use Lowe's for any type of installation work. Beware of the lies from Lowe's.

WARNING ABOUT LOWE’S INSTALLATION SERVICES — MOUNT JULIET, TN. Order number **. I am writing this review because I want other homeowners in the Mount Juliet area to understand what can happen when you purchase installation services through Lowe’s. We went to the Mount Juliet Lowe’s to purchase a replacement pedestrian door and storm door for our garage entry. We were told Lowe’s offered installation services, so we arranged an in-home appointment with Lowe’s In-Home Sales Specialist Allan J. **. On July 27, Allan came to our home, measured the opening, and discussed our options. I showed him the doors we had already selected at the store. During the measurement, he recommended a coil wrap around the exterior jamb and brick mold to help prevent the wood from rotting.

We have an HOA, so I specifically told him the wrap needed to closely match our existing brown trim. Allan showed us metal samples and we selected a color that was very close to our existing trim — Dark Bronze. We paid Lowe’s for the doors, installation, and the coil wrap and installation. The doors were not delivered and scheduled for installation until September 2. When the installer arrived, he told us he did not install the coil wrap and that someone else would have to do it. I contacted Allan by phone and text and was referred to Lowe’s Installation Services.

On September 2, I contacted Installation Services and specifically confirmed that the coil wrap was part of our order and that the correct color would be available. I also contacted Allan by text asking him to confirm the wrap. He did not respond. On September 4, another installer arrived — with Maple and White coil wrap. There was NO Dark Bronze. At that point, Lowe's Installation Services told me that they did not see the correct wrap scheduled. I spent approximately 50 minutes on the phone with Installation Services, much of that on hold. I was eventually told that the Dark Bronze wrap was a special-order item and that apparently I had not purchased that particular wrap.

This is where the situation became completely unacceptable. How was I supposed to know something was a special-order item when the Lowe’s salesperson recommended it, showed me the samples, helped me select the color, charged me for the wrap and installation, and put it on my order? I would have gladly paid whatever additional amount was necessary. The issue was never the price. The issue was that Lowe’s sold me an installation package and failed to provide the materials necessary to complete the installation. As of this point, we had a door that was not properly sealed to the brick, with approximately a 2-inch gap above the door. Fortunately, the installer at least put a bead of caulk around the frame.

On September 9, after still not getting a resolution, we went back to the Mount Juliet Lowe’s. We explained the situation to customer service and eventually spoke with someone representing himself as a manager. He could not tell us when the correct coil would arrive, when the door would be installed, or even clearly confirm whether the correct material had actually been ordered. Instead, he blamed the installation department and explained that he had spoken with Allan about why he sold us something Lowe’s apparently could not provide. At that point I was extremely frustrated. I told him that someone at Lowe’s needed to take responsibility for what Lowe’s had sold us. Rather than resolving the problem or giving us a definite timeline, he threatened to call the police and have us removed from the store.

Think about that: We spent more than $2,000 with Lowe’s for doors and installation, Lowe’s failed to coordinate the installation, failed to provide the material its own salesperson sold us, left us with an unfinished and inadequately sealed exterior door, and then when we came to the store asking for answers, management still could not tell us when the job would be completed. My recommendation: Be extremely careful about purchasing installation services through Lowe’s.

I had a washer and dryer delivered. The dryer was damaged. It didn't come with the energy guide attached and no protective tape like the washer. I'm sure it was open package and they knew it was damaged. The delivery guy purposely pushed it so I couldn't see the damage. I understand that damage can happen, but to knowingly deliver a damaged item, without saying anything, is wrong and borderline criminal.

**Paid $3,951.49, reported the problem the next day, and still no inspection or remedy.** I cannot recommend Lowe’s Easy Install countertop program based on our experience with the Waynesville store. We paid Lowe’s $3,951.49 in full for natural-stone countertops installed on August 7, 2026. Within hours of installation, we discovered that ordinary water and condensation created conspicuous dark marks that remained visible for hours. The countertop has also developed permanent yellow and brown staining from ordinary kitchen use.

We notified Lowe’s in writing on August 8, the day after installation. Since then, we have contacted Lowe’s approximately three times per week, visited the store, spoken with the kitchen design specialist, spoken with the store manager twice, and contacted Lowe’s corporate office several times beginning August 21. Lowe’s directed us to Stone Interiors. Rather than inspecting the countertop or investigating the problem, Stone Interiors dismissed our concern by saying, “It is natural stone; that is what happens.” As of September 9, neither Lowe’s nor its installation provider has inspected the countertop, provided a written diagnosis, proposed a repair or replacement, or offered a refund. Our calls are now going unreturned.

Lowe’s sold this project to us, accepted our payment, and arranged the installation through its Easy Install program. Being repeatedly redirected among the store, the installer, and Lowe’s corporate office has left us with visibly stained countertops and no meaningful response. We have retained the contract, receipt, photographs, contemporaneous emails, and records of our attempts to resolve the problem. We have now sent Lowe’s a final written demand requesting either a full refund or a prompt qualified inspection followed by a written and permanent remedy. I will update this review if Lowe’s resolves the matter. Until then, I strongly caution anyone considering Lowe’s for countertop installation to obtain written answers about sealing, water absorption, stain resistance, warranty responsibility, and exactly who will take responsibility if a problem appears immediately after installation.

Lowe's doesn't care about anything or anybody. NO, you may not speak to anyone in the corporate level. They automatically pass you off to another country who reads from the website the exact thing you already know. So, I went to Lowe's in person to order Satori Cielo Polished marble tile hexagon mat. If you go there right now, it's still there. Lowe's website says 5,000 pcs available. The night manager at the Lowe's I went to ordered it for me because I told her there are issues returning a .com order if something is wrong. She ordered the tile, charged my credit card, and gave me a receipt. I got an email confirmation with my in store pick-up time. The next morning I received an automated text saying my order was cancelled.

I tried to call the store but no answer for the entire day. I called customer care but I got hold of someone that I could not even understand what they were saying. That night I got on chat with someone, I could tell they were foreign but they typed how they would speak. Told them the situation. They said that the tile was at the store. I said no it's not, I was there with a manager. After 20 mins back and forth they said the next color Satori Notte was available. I said please check for a hands on quantity before I give you more of my hard earned money. He came back on a said the tile is available and ready to ship. I gave them another payment trusting this will happen now. I told the person that if this goes wrong again that it is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT which is against the law and theft for taking my money with no product to show for it. He assured me the order will be fine.

This morning I get another text saying my order was cancelled. Again, I tried to call corporate but off to another country again because "corporate only passes the buck" and doesn't want to hear from AMERICANS that pay their salary. Again, I get a person with such poorly broken English I had to hang up 3 time to get someone I could understand. That woman was nasty. I asked to speak to a member of management and she said I get her and that's it. Yes, according to Lowe's it was supposed to be recorded. I explained again what I am telling you now, she said she will look into it. She came back on and said the tile is at my Store to go get it. I said no it is not.

She began to read exactly what the item said online as far as availability, shipping etc. I said I can read the website myself. I said I need help, you now have two of my payments and I see it on my Credit Card statement and I have no tile. She nastily said go to the store and get it then. I said, "How about you call the store while I am on the line with you and have them put together the order that doesn't exist for me to go pick up." She said, "Your refund will be 7-10 days." I said you have 2 payments that I am paying 25% interest on and I have nothing to show for it. She hung up. So, this is your Lowe's. America's Lowes gone to hell. They will never get another dime of my hard-earned money to put in corporate pockets and overseas "Customer DON'T Care. Yes, look them up. Several class action lawsuits still active. Beyond a doubt Lowe’s definitely has an issue with their installation communication with customers and the stores-I don’t know when I’ll get my microwave-Think I may make a special trip to the local store an hour away-get the microwave I paid for Aug 16 and have a local handyman install it-I would advise anyone else to do the same.

Installer refused to deliver appliance without additional charges beyond Lowe’s Installation and Delivery fee of $219.00. Installer charged $165.00 for a new water connection valve claiming it was illegal for him to Install without a new valve. He then wanted another $185.00 to drill another hole in the granite counter and install a new “Air Gap”. Claimed he couldn’t leave the Appliance without additional fees for Installation I asked why he couldn’t use the existing hole for a pump soap Dispenser. He told me again that he could not legally leave the Dishwasher without additional monies.

After realizing he was upselling the Installation cost I agreed to pay the water valve charge of $165.00 and told him I couldn’t afford another $185.00 for another hole in the Granite. He didn’t say why he couldn’t use the existing hole for the “New Air Gap”, but said he couldn’t leave the new dishwasher without the additional payment. He then said if money was a problem he would accept a Credit Card, but the Install Pro company would charge an additional 5% Credit Card Fee.

The Installation seemed like Extortion for an Appliance Delivery and Installation Costs I had paid Lowe’s. Essentially, no added fees, no Delivery. I asked him how much I had to pay him at that point and he said $165.00 and I went to find my checkbook and wrote a check to “Installation Pros”. Being 75 and Disabled it felt very much like Extortion and upselling at prices not disclosed by Lowe’s because of age and Disability. I will never buy again from Lowe’s. No Receipt provided for additional charge canceled check will be it.

Probably the worst customer service and product service I’ve ever experienced. While delivering my appliance to my home yesterday, the delivery driver took out 45 feet of metal edging installed in rock around a beautiful garden. He tried to pay me off if I wouldn’t file a claim with Lowe’s. Did I mention the appliance he delivered didn’t even work and I’m still waiting to get another - 6 days later.

Writing a review, I almost never do this, but was so grossly frustrated today and I felt I needed to. I just ordered a toilet to be delivered to my house. And when it arrived, the toilet base was broken. Completely understand these are things that happen during transit. When I called customer service, they did everything in their power to deflect ownership having me reach out to the manufacturer, sending me to a completely different organization that had nothing to do with the manufacturer that I purchased for Customer Service. I spent over an hour on the phone and nothing was resolved.

The whole point of me getting a product delivered was to Littrell after total submission. That was the only choice I had because there was no individual who was willing to understand the circumstances. They offered me a gift card for the time and inconvenience, which never arrived. There’s a lot of options for who I shop with in this space and it will be very hard for me to return as a Customer. Order # **.

We purchased a BBQ from the Lowe's in Webster, NY that stopped working shortly after two weeks. We had to wait ten days for a part, but of course it didn't arrive in ten days. We gave it a few extra days to arrive, but the manufacturer (Weber) eventually told us that the part was unavailable and the BBQ would have to be returned. Lowe's scheduled the pickup for the next morning, only to cancel it at 6:30 a.m. because we had the BBQ for more than 30 days. In other words, Lowe's sold us a BBQ that broke after two weeks and then penalized us for giving them an opportunity to replace the part instead of returning it immediately. I won't make the mistake of buying from a store that doesn't care about its customers again.

I recently purchased a garage door opener with the installation. This was done at the Johnstown PA location of Lowe’s. I was told at the time that someone would call me within 24 to 48 hours to arrange the installation. 48 hours came and went, and no call. I called the next day, and they were to get a hold of the installation contractor to arrange the installation. I still have not received any call.

The following day, I was in the area, so I stopped into the store, personally spoke to the manager, and told him that we are going to call the contractor right now. The store manager, Brandon, was doing his best. My complaint is not against him or the other manager, Kathleen. Brandon called the contractor and we were on hold for over 20 minutes and we’re unable to speak with anyone. I finally told Brandon whenever he talks to the contractor, call me this afternoon.

Brandon did call back later on and explained that he was unable to contact the contractor. This trend went on for several days. I tried to call the contractor myself and was unable to get a hold of anyone. I tried going online and use their online helpdesk and again I did not have any luck twice whenever I tried calling the contractor.

I was on hold for 10 minutes, and my call was dropped each time. I subsequently contacted the other store manager, Kathleen, and told her that I was canceling the installation and to credit my card. I asked her what Lowe’s was going to do for all the aggravation and time that I’ve put into trying to resolve this situation. She said that she was going to open up a ticket to the customer appeasement through Lowe’s and that somebody would call me that day. Needless to say, no one called.

I called again the following Monday and told her that nobody had called me. She again told me that somebody would call me that night. Again, no one called. I spoke to her again later that week, and apparently there was a note in the appeasement that I had canceled. The installation in the matter was closed. She said it was a matter of semantics and that she was resubmitting my ticket and that somebody would call me that night. Well, guess what, no one called. I am still trying to get this situation reviewed and resolved.

My complaint is not on the store level, as both managers, I believe we’re trying to do all that they could to help me. My complaint is on the corporate level and the difficulty it takes to contact a decision-maker. Lowe’s needs to find more reliable contractors for their installations. They also need to make it easier for customers to contact corporate offices, whether it’s Lowe’s, corporate, or the contractors themselves. If you’re looking to purchase a product with installation, I absolutely do not recommend Lowe’s. The only reason I gave them one star is because of the staff on the store level that we’re trying to help me.

I ordered all new kitchen appliances and have received 3 broken refrigerators. They refuse to send anymore. They refuse to work with me to make things right after I have missed 2 days of work and lost everything in my freezer. They have yelled, belittled and talked over me without even trying to listen or help. They are good at promising things then lying about it. After the delivery of the third broken refrigerator I called and it took forever to get through, they told me they only do 3 exchanges and I will not be getting another refrigerator and I needed to go to my local Lowe's to sort things out. The assistant manager couldn't do anything because it was an online order with a different warehouse.

I'm currently trying to return the refrigerator for a refund because that's the only option they gave me, no one even attempted to make things right. This has been nothing but a week of pure hell!! It's to the point I called my credit card company and they are taking it up with Lowe's on my behave. When I explained everything that happened they couldn't believe that refused to make things right. Lost a customer for life!! I'm gonna report them to Better business.

I purchased a protection plan from LOWES, which promised a partial refund if I did not make any claims during the plan period. However, I was not informed that I needed to submit a claim within 60 days after the plan ended to receive this refund. With the advancements in automation and AI, I expected that LOWES would automatically process any refunds due to customers. Instead, they place the responsibility on the consumer to navigate this requirement, which is not clearly communicated and can easily be overlooked. This lack of transparency and reliance on the consumer to fulfill the requirement is concerning. I believe that companies should make the refund process straightforward and user-friendly, rather than complicating it with hidden stipulations.

Have you been on hold with Lowe's Home Improvement from 4:52pm until 10:14pm? E-mail directs you to call them, LOL. Their response time for email is 14 days.

I ordered two sets of doors from Lowe’s in April. The first set came back in May, the other not until June. Had to wait till mid July before they’d schedule installation. Got a call from Lowe’s less than one week before installation asking me to drive over 20 miles to a different Lowe’s to pick up materials because they had shipped them to the wrong store, and if I couldn’t then I’d have to reschedule installation.

When installer finally came to install, one door handle that I had ordered wasn’t shipped, so I had to have someone drive over 20 miles to a different store to repurchase a handle that I’ve already paid for. Also other materials were missing preventing installer from completing installation that day. Realized they also had sent the wrong handles for my storm doors, and I had to go to Lowe’s to exchange. Finally got installation completed in mid August. Very very bad experience. I would not recommend Lowe’s services for doors ordered and installed to anyone.
