    I haven't had a problem with Spark Energy. They brought down my kilowatt price. I just really haven't been able to tell the difference in my bill right now because I'm still behind. I'm trying to catch up, but sometimes it's difficult because everything in my house is electric. But I’m sure my bills would be higher, if it wasn’t for the lower price so I would recommend them.

    A few months ago, a man appeared in my apartment complex. I only opened the door because I thought it was my pizza. Needless to say, I was already pretty disappointed when my pizza was not there, but instead a stranger. I am a nice person, and I like to think that I am not rude, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and let him perform his spiel. He was nice, spoke pretty fast, and asked me to get my current Con Ed bill. I did, (because I am a poor new yorker, like most of us are) and he kept on guaranteeing that using Spark Energy would save me loads of money. I thought about it, asked him a few general questions (how do I pay it, who do I call with questions, how long will it take to go in effect, etc.) He assured me that I would continue to pay my bills the same way I always do through Con Ed and it would be easy and simple and save me money. So, stupid me, I signed up.

    Fast forward to now. I always get my bills sent to me via e-mail. They tell me the amount and the due date. Ever since I have used Spark, nothing is the same. There is never a due date, only a date to pay by to not get a late fee. The billing history is wonky. The amounts change from day-to-day. And to top if off, it is always more expensive. (I've used the ESCO bill comparison tool.) So in conclusion, this company IS a scam. I will be calling soon to try and get myself out of this ridiculous company. They are not helpful, not cheap, and a headache.

We are sorry to hear that this has been your experience as Spark Energy is certainly not in the business of misleading any customer. Please be advised that we are indeed a legitimate company and not a scam as we have been in business for over a decade. For the customer’s protection, we have a third party verification in place. First the verifier confirms that the customer is over the age of 18 and authorized to enroll service with Spark Energy. The verifier then recaps everything that the sales agent offers to the customer including the rate and Terms of Service. The customer is then made aware that they will continue to be billed for the delivery service from their local utility company but that they will also be billed for the supply charges from Spark Energy. Lastly, in order for the enrollment to be processed the customer must answer yes to all questions.

    I've been making my payments on time. Every month. All of sudden I received a bill for $1400.00. Yes, $1400.00. I called Peoples Gas first and they told me that they were not my supplier, that is was Spark Energy. I have no idea how that became. Apparently they forced their way in by making it seem mandatory to my wife. So I called Spark Energy, they said that it was a "glitch in the system" because when I was making my payments, Peoples Gas was not sending them to Spark. I called Peoples Gas it was not true, they've been sending payment as they come in.

    Spark Energy later told me it was not a glitch and the charged were valid but they could send me coupons worth $500 to make up for it. That was pretty insulting. I am sure there has to be some sort of consumer protection department where we can dispute this. This is not fair. This is highway robbery. These companies cannot be allowed to take advantage of consumers in this way. They train these poor kids fresh out of high school to be become hawks. It's not the kids fault, they knock door to door because they have to feed their families. It's who's behind them that deserved to be fined and sent to jail for these practices.

    I just got scammed into getting into contract with them. Doorbell rang I was in the middle of feeding the kids. Was asked for my PG&E bill, I said "I don't have it. My husband keeps records at his office" was told to call him. The way they speak is so fast and they make you think its mandatory. I ended up signing with them even though I'm not on the bill. He confused me to the point I just wanted to get it over with ASAP. After signing up I was not given any info or paperwork or a reference number. After he left I went to the neighbor to ask her about them. She told me it's a scam. I ran around looking for the guy, luckily found him and forced him to give the contact info although he still failed to give me my ref number just a blank contract. Went back home and looked them up online and saw all the negative reviews.

    I called the number they told me the office hours are 7-7pm which is ** because when they called me to confirm the contract it was close to 8pm so how comes they can call me at 8pm to put me in contract yet I cannot call them to cancel? Also the number they called me from I called that back before I ran after the rep it's a data exchange number! DODGY! The rep told me it was PG&E calling me which was a lie. I immediately told my husband who has emailed them as that's the only way to contact them at this time. It's only been less than 2 hours since I signed he told them the contract should be cancelled and we shouldn't be charged.

    The funny thing is I'm not even on his account so he hasn't even authorized this transaction. Let's see what they do now. I will call them in the morning to double check. I spoke to PG&E and they told me I do not need to sign up with them even though he made out I don't have a choice. I hate liars and people that try to pull one over when you're not all there! I will update this tomorrow.

    In January I paid my bill to PG&E who in turn paid the rightful portion to Spark. Spark is claiming they didn't receive that payment, but have received Feb/Mar/Apr/May. Because Spark thinks the January bill is past due, they sent a $100 early termination charge to me. I didn't terminate but apparently they did because they can't find my payment. According to PG&E, I have paid all my bills in a timely fashion and they in turn forwarded Spark their share. I have been in constant contact with both PG&E and Spark who have tried to resolve this issue.

    Unfortunately the Spark collections people have not read the notes and have been calling and threatening me. They state I must pay the $100 or go to collections. Upon explaining things to them they continued to not care about the facts and simply said I needed to pay or go to collections. Now they have a computerized messaging system that is calling me and telling me to contact them. When will this harassment stop???? The Spark customer service people keep telling me that they will get it stopped but so far no luck. All of this is happening because I paid my bills in a timely fashion?

    I closed my account at Peoples Gas and Spark Energy on February 28, 2015. After closing, I received a large bill of $1300 from both companies. After calling both companies, they stated the bill was incorrect due to a bad meter reading. Peoples Gas has corrected the error. Spark Energy has not corrected it. In addition, I made a payment on April 28, 2015 of $200 for another account I have for a different account and unit. In error, I paid it on the closed Peoples gas account. At that time, Spark Energy took the $200 payment. I have spoken to Spark Energy today and months ago. I feel at a loss with this company.

    We are receiving a bill for a overdue account with Spark Energy LL from a company for recovery. In other words this company is collecting a debt for a service my stepdad and Mother have not received. Someone came to their house offering low cost for low income service but they didn't understand because who offered this service totally spoke in English and they don't speak English. All information was provided over the phone and this guy was telling they're to say yes to everything. Someone over the phone was asking to respond. They didn't sign any contract or agreement. We would like to know if this a legal procedures to catch people or to offering this service, or someone just trying steal money. This collector is called Kingston data and credit international. This is the website www.kdcii.com. The envelope with the bill didn't have any postage.

    My experience with them ever since has been horrible. I chose them over other electric and natural gas provider because they told me that they can lock my rate in for 10 cents despite the rate going up to 20 cents. However, what was told to me is not what actually came. The sales rep could barely speak English and since my electric bill was already high, I thought this would have been a good deal since it is 50% off. But Eversource charged me two months double with the actual bill because I switched companies which I was not informed about. My bill was supposed to be $400 per month but it was nearly $800 and instead of 10 cents, it is more than 10 cents per minute. Even if I cancel, they're not going to go back and change the bill so I didn't bother with it. I've spoken to Eversource customer service and they said there's nothing that could be done although I haven't called Spark yet.

    I changed to Spark Energy Gas LP as the rates were lower than PG@E. Over the summers my bill are less than 10$. In the year I have had Spark Energy Gas I never saw that because the delivery charges by PG&E. I was not told of the delivery charges by the sales person, so I am disappointed and feel I was misled. I am cancelling my contract, as the 1 year requirement is over and going back to PG&E. Rates there are higher, but they do not charge a delivery charge (it is built into their costs). Overall, I would caution others to take note of the "delivery charges" of whoever owns the pipeline that Spark uses to provide you with their product.

    I went online to see who's got good deals and rates. They're all the same, but I started with Spark. The rates are a little high compared to what I think I was signing up for. They last for three months and the prices go skyrocketing. All of a sudden you get a bill for $600. It's just crazy. There's no locked-in rate. It's very aggravating when you have a life and you have children, and there's this runaround game that you have to call and a cat-and-mouse game to chase to get a cheaper rate. It's a joke at this point, and that's how I feel. I'm not a happy camper about playing this game every three months. I don't see how Spark is going to be any different than anybody else.

    Spark Energy allowed an unauthorized person set up services without my consent. They did a poor job verifying information from this unauthorized person with incorrect information. Now I'm being sent to collections. I have tried several times contacting Spark over the past week only to be told over and over that I will be contacted within 15 minutes... within 24 hours and I'm still waiting.

    I don't know whether Spark is good or not. I've been with them a lot but when the rates went up, I changed to some other company. But I didn't like the way this other company dealt so now I'm satisfied with Spark. I don't even understand this whole arrangement as to how individual companies can sell electricity. ComEd is the administrator but I don't even understand this whole program and they haven't done a really good job of doing that. But if a different company tells me that I'm going to get a lower price for a period of time, I'll take it. And if I get out of it at any point in time, that's fine.

They deliver the electricity to your home and assess the charge to you for doing so. Spark Energy is a third party supplier that purchases the energy in bulk and offers it to you at a low fixed rate for a contracted period of time typically. We supply you with the electricity that you consume monthly. Comed reads your meter to determine how much electricity you consumed for the month and in turn Spark Energy bills you for that consumption.

    When I got my CL & P bill, the energy went up 100%. We used to be at $9 something cents. Then it went up to $16. It was ridiculous but it was my fault. They did send notice about it, saying that the contract was up, expect higher rates. But I don't know if they ever said what the rates were going to be. So I just went online and looked at what the best available rates were in Connecticut and went with Spark Energy. With Spark, we get a bill and that's all we get. We're not getting any different electricity than we do from any other provider but the fact that our bill is better just makes everything better. They truly saved me a lot of money.

    I was told by the canvasser that my bill would stabilize and go down due to the flat fee of Spark Energy to pay for gas. BOY was I wrong! My bill doubled. My original gas bill stayed the same, and then I had to pay Spark Energy on top of it. They prey upon low-income neighborhoods. I then decided to cancel my service because I was moving. This company came after me for $78 that I didn't even owe, and now I am fighting with their collection agency trying to find verification of this amount I supposedly owe. If you don't believe me, look at their YELP reviews. They are a total scam and they should be run out of business, selling a non-service to low-income people doubling their bill, or even worse.

    Two persons stood at the back door pounding quite loudly and persistently. They said they were following up on a letter sent about converting to "Green (electric) Energy." ComEd was mentioned. I asked if they were from ComEd. They said "yes," Spark was a ComEd Green Energy program. I asked for some literature. They said they had no literature. I told them the meeting was ended and shut the door.

    They are NOT affiliated with ComEd. Spark is NOT a ComEd program. Pushing to switch (cram) the utility bill without even one piece of literature is a sign of hustle. Reading the complaints here indicates rates can be competitive or high depending on the fine print. Cancellation fees are steep, and customer service interactions are unsatisfactory. You make your own decisions. I made mine.

    After writing the review, I used the email address I found in other response on this site. The company responded and offered me a refund and credit. It was a more than fair offer to meet and exceed my satisfaction. They also agreed that there was some training for their field sales people to make sure there really is a true savings for the customer. I believe that Sparks program make since for a home owner.

    I am a new customer to Spark Energy Gas in the Sacramento CA, area. I moved to the area in June 2014 and signed up for my gas service with PG&E. I rent a small 1 bedroom apt @800 sq ft. my average bill for the first 7 months was an average Current PG&E Charges were $11.24 per month (as low as $9.63 up to $12.43). In late Dec/early Jan a representative of Spark Energy Gas came to my door and explained to me that if I switched my service from PG&E to Spark they could save money on my monthly bill. I signed up for the service and in Feb 2015 I received my first bill from PG&E with them. To date I have received 3 bills from that have averaged $24.41 per month.

    The average Current PG&E Charges is $9.85 (as low as $8.45 up to $10.94), which I acknowledge is a cost savings of $1.39 per billing cycle. On the same three bills the average Spark Energy Gas LP gas Procurement Charges is $14.56 (as low as 13.46 up to 15.61). The difference between the two bills is $13.17, that is over double what I was paying direct to PG&E.

    When I contacted the customer service phone line, I explained my issue and concern to the Associate and he was polite and said my contract was valid until Jan 2016, that he could cancel my service for $100.00 few, which I agree was in the contract I signed. I explained that it didn't make sense to offer a service that would more than double my bill. If I owned a home the service might make better sense. I explained the process has been upsetting. I did not want to pay the $100.00, and I did not want to pay $13.17 for 9 more months = $118.53 in extra fees until Jan 2016. So I agreed to pay the $100.00 and cancel my service, then he said "it would take 1-2 billing cycles to be removed from the bill." Meaning I can expect my next 1-2 bills to have the average $13.17 excess charge. So now I am going to pay the extra $127.52 either way.

    I asked to talk with his supervisor. When I spoke with the supervisor and explained the issue and concern again he offered to cut the cancellation fee to $50.00. I thanked him and hung up the phone. I am writing this review because I feel the process was not properly stated and that Spark should have some guidelines for their Door to Door Sales People to identify a minimum threshold where the savings will be greater than the customer's current situation. I feel that Spark could have done better in the beginning and at the point the issue was addressed. Not sure it matters, Just a very frustrated customer.

    Everybody does a good job. Right now, it's all about money, and I have been receiving lower monthly bills. However, it should be noted that I have Spark Energy in Texas and in Connecticut and one's different from the other. I had both contracts redone. Both of them are great. When I want to go ahead and get something or if I want to talk to somebody about what's going on, they're all there, so I don't have to wait long. Somebody comes on the phone and helps me.

    I have used Spark in the past, so I didn't, but should have, looked at reviews before going with them again. They have it set up, so that if you change providers once your contract is up, your final bill is charged at considerably more than your rate has been. Then, because I switched providers they couldn't collect my final bill so they sent me a final notice saying that 10 days from my final notice (03-30-2015) they would send me to collection agency and bureau, but when I called them, they said it went to collection agency on April 1. According to my math, that is 2 days, not 10. I hadn't even gotten the final notice yet. My credit is 800+, I will never switch to Spark again after this. They did me wrong!!

    One day an employee from Spark Energy came knocking to our door. She started claiming that it was a new company that was going to take over So Cal, the Gas Company, saying that employers were going around to save us money because the gas company was overcharging. She made me look for my bill to show me that they had been overcharging. She showed me and she "promised" me that she will make our payment lower, and that Spark Energy was the same thing as the gas company, that we weren't gonna see no charges from them in My Gas company Bill!!

    One day I Got a letter from Spark Energy and it was a bill of $25 dollars!! Not even my gas bill is that expensive. I pay for gas around 15 dollars. Spark Energy employers are giving false advertisement! Like any other person I called Customer service and the person that answered said if I wanted to cancel account am going to have to pay 100 dollar fee!! This is unbelievable! I have no money to pay the $25 fee I was getting on a bill. How can they think am able to pay 100!! Someone has to go after Spark Energy and fix this!! Just Yesterday I got another letter from this company and it's a Collection Letter that they are sending me to Collections!! What is wrong with this Company?? They're nothing but a Scam!!!

    I received my People's Gas bill today. The bill is $154.34 for gas. Much to my shock and rage, the total charge with Spark Energy is 981.89 with a charge from Spark of 827.00 for Supplier Charges claiming Energy Charge and Adjustment Fees. I cannot afford this and it is automatically taken from my checking account. This is outrageous and must be corrected immediately. I will not tolerate this and it's inexcusable. Something must be done immediately as I have no idea why I'd be charged this fee and will complain to the top of the organization and let news agencies know immediately.

    I am the care taker for my sister. When I saw that she had been getting higher than normal gas bills I looked a little closer at her bill and she explained that someone from Spark Energy had told her she'd save money with them so she signed up for their service without asking me. I called Spark and explained that she was not mentally fit to make these types of purchases. The supervisor did not care in the least and told me there would be 120 early cancellation fee. I highly recommend not using this unethical company's services.

    We called Sparks Energy on November 19, 2014. As of today April 1, 2015 they have not changed our rate plan and continue to bill for the incorrect amount each and every month. We have spent numerous hours on the phone and emails on a weekly basis since our December Statement. Each time we speak with Sparks whether it be a general customer service person, or multiple supervisors and a representative from the office of the president. Each can see the credits due and say there is billing error and it will be corrected. Yet each and every month the bill is incorrect.

    I have just received my Nicor Gas for over $500 for the month of March. The Nicor section of the bill is $70.14 for the same month. Nicor told me that they only charge 35c and that Spark Energy charged me $1.24. When I phoned Spark Energy they tell me that my contract with them has expired and that I have now been charged the month-to-month rate. No notification whatsoever. "You will just have to pay it or your gas account will be disconnected" is the answer I get. I will also lose my deposit. And... if you cancel with Spark Energy it may take 1-2 billing cycles before it is through, which means I may still have one or two accounts like this! I cannot believe that a company can just charge you at such a high rate without notifying you that your contract has expired. And I was also told that there is no renewal option on my account either.

    I had two gentleman show up at my door requesting my bills. I did not have them and they would not leave until they confirmed if I had energy, electric and gas. After they called the company and enrolled us I was not comfortable with what happened. The next day I called to cancel Spark Energy and called again and again. I was given confirmation numbers. This occurred before service was even transferred. They have said they would cancel Spark Energy but it is still on my bill and it is so high. If someone files a class action lawsuit I for sure want compensation. Please help me cancel this service.

    I live in Chicago near from west town. And I use Peoples Gas for my gas service. In January three guys visit my studio, and they convince me to enroll their gas service. Also they told me that Spark energy will reduce my bill. And I had to response the confirmation call from their company IN FRONT of them. They show paper about question and answer and one guy underlines on paper and makes me answer. I thought this situation is very strange and just after they gone from my studio I searched on internet. And there was some bad comments about them and I decided to cancel my enrollment.

    I called Spark Energy and ask the cancellation but the representative answer me I wasn't enrolled now and when I get the gas bill he will cancel my enrollment without any cancellation fees. So I was forgetting that, and my bill is almost same as previous. BUT, my bill of this month raised about double of previous and the half is 'Supplier Charges' from Spark Energy. I called them today and the representative said me there is no record for my call for cancellation... What?? And the representative told me the date doesn't make sense but I have phone record and After I said that, the representative say different way.. and Although I will terminate it I have to pay supplier fees for 2 or 3 month more.. Do not enroll Spark Energy. They will raise your bill almost double and they don't have responsible for what they saying. And Also it is very frustrated to cancel this plan.

    We went with Spark Energy to save money on our gas bill, but our last bill came in over $300 for the month. I checked with our gas company and discovered Spark was charging us 1.22 per therm vs the utility's charge of only .35 per therm. They hooked us with a lower rate and jacked up the prices as time passed. I don't know if that's standard practice and I don't care. I'd encourage everyone to think twice before using Spark Energy.

    I signed up for Spark Energy for a one year contract starting 11/2012. They came door to door offering more competitive rates for gas and electric than PSE&G. Since I work a lot we had the auto billing set up to pay for PSE&G account and each month the bill was paid. During this time I was unaware that I had been switched over to variable pricing by Spark Energy and was being charged 50% higher electric rates and over 200% higher gas rates when they automatically changed me to variable rate pricing. I was unaware that this was happening until the end of 2014 when I received some unusually high bills for Nov and Dec and began to look at the actual billing statements provided by PSE&G online.

    I Immediately called Spark Energy and inquired how I was switched to a variable pricing plan. They indicated that when my contract expired at Nov 2012 this change occurred and that I had been notified. I requested for them to show me the information sent out to prove that notification since I had never seen anything indicating I was on a variable pricing plan. They mailed me a postcard that they sent in Aug 2012 stating that my contract was ending 11/9/2012 but don't worry cause you will automatically roll onto a month to month variable plan with no effort required on my part and I can enjoy the flexibility of month to month variable services.

    I never recall receiving this postcard and in the format it was sent I am sure it was thrown out as junk mail if it indeed had been sent to my home. I would have expected a formal letter indicating my contract expiration with information on how I could renew a fixed rate pricing contract for another year to lock in lower rates. This postcard offered no such information and essentially offered only variable pricing at the end of the contract. As Such when I finally became aware of this scam at the end Dec 2014 I called and spoke with a supervisor ** and after several call backs during the day she listened to my story and agreed to refund me a full year at the current fixed rates for Gas and for Electric even though I told her I could not continue with Spark Energy since their fixed rate pricing for gas was still nearly double PSE&G Gas rates.

    She processed my cancellation and informed me to wait until the gas was disconnected 2/11/2015 and call back for the pricing analysis for gas and electric. The Electric was discontinued with Spark and month earlier on 1/11/2015. After 2/11/2015 I left 3 messages over a 2 week period for ** on her voicemail and she never returned my call. Finally on the fourth attempt 3/5/2015 I called the regular contact #877-547-7275 and spoke with customer service rep ** who indicated that ** had left notes in file stating that they are only reimbursing the gas and not the electric. This contradicted what we spoke about at the end of Dec 2014.

    I Asked to have her call me back, she never returned my call. I called the service # again 3/11/15 and again spoke with ** and requested to speak with **'s supervisor since she refused to return any of my phone calls. I was sent to supervisor ** who indicate that he would review the taped conversation and get back to me by the end of the day. This never occurred. After a week with no call back 3/18/2015 I contacted customer service # again and waited nearly 30 mins for the service rep to try and find my acct information to no avail. I requested a supervisor again and was connected to ** who apologized for the long wait trying to identify my account. He tried to contact ** but kept stating that he was not available Then he stated he would have him call me back.

    Finally later that same day ** contacts me and states that he reviewed our phone conversation and ** only offered rebate at fixed rate pricing for a year on the gas. I disputed that indicating I had written down the fixed rate gas and electric and that I was positive that we confirmed that information before our conversation ended. Just the fact that she did not return any of my calls reaffirms that she did not want to speak to me about what she had agreed to do. ** stated that they would only give me the gas rebate because they never sent me a reminder that electric was going to variable pricing. This is totally incorrect since the postcard they stated was sent out to me never stated either gas or electric. Just that switch to variable pricing would occur.

    He then indicated that they would give me a $500 rebate for the Electric portion in the form of a dining card and that they would do a cost analysis on the gas portion. I indicated to him that I already did the analysis of the gas portion at the overage from fixed pricing to what I paid at variable pricing and did it manually in about an hour. We are nearly 5 weeks later and they still have no cost analysis?? He requested my e-mail address and I gave that to him waiting for a reply back on the gas rebate. Thus far I have not heard back and this is now 3/24/15. I called him back the next day from our conversation 3/18/15 and indicated that I overpaid in cash for variable pricing and wanted the electric portion as well rebated back in a check and not a dining card.

    He never returned that phone call and I still have not received an e-mail or a refund check from Spark Energy. When I last spoke with ** he seemed quite amused when he called me back indicating that I did not sound as mad as he would have been had the same overcharging had happened to him?? This seems to be a common theme at Spark Energy. No call backs, passing people from one supervisor to the next, promising things that they later deny and hoping the consumer gets frustrated and just goes away. This is not going to happen with me. I am requesting that my story go to the Office of the President at Spark Energy and am also requesting a refund of the last 24 months at the fixed rate plans for gas and electric which I thought I was paying.

    I am not asking for pricing at PSE&G rates rather pricing at Spark Fixed rates which is what I signed up for. Additionally in 8/2014 a monthly service fee of $4.95 was also added to each bill through 2/2015 and I want that refunded since nothing was ever sent out indicating why this additional fee was being charged. All this information is unethical. Spark Energy never disclosed any variable rate pricing to me. Using variable rates is violating the law since they never informed consumers how these rates are derived and if they even have anything to do with energy costs.

    I am also going to petition the state of NJ Electricity Regulator to launch an investigation about Spark Energy stemming from that company's variable rates and misleading marketing tactics. This is blatant price gouging and appears to be a common among all complaints I have read thus far concerning this company. Again I am requesting that my case be escalated to the Office of the President or I will be filing complaints with the BBB, the NJ BPU and will be going to the media to get the word out that this company is scamming people. All I see on this consumer affairs website for Spark energy is the same common theme that people are being signed up then changed over to variable pricing with additional $4.95 adjustment fees added monthly. Their bills are all running much much higher than if they stayed with their original utility company.

    Spark Energy standard response is the same, that Spark Energy does not condone the type of behavior described. But what are they doing about it?? They still have the same people doing the same things to consumers over and over again. Promising things they cannot deliver, not returning phone calls and hoping that their customers will just go away after repeated attempts to get resolutions the same recurring themes. Overcharging customers for comparable gas and electric services with additional monthly adjustments fees added on top. Some of the overcharging is greater than 200% what my utility company was charging. Hopefully this information will send a message to the company that more and more people are becoming aware of how they do business and they can apologize to consumers all they want but if they do not change their business tactics they may not be in business very much longer.

    My problem started on 12/5/14, rep (agent **) from Spark Energy came to my apt. building. She asked for my gas bill but I didn't have it. She assured me I would save but that was a lie because I called my gas company a few days later (Southern California Gas Co) and they told me that I was enrolled in a low income program and that it was not recommended to change. So on 12/22/14 I called Spark Energy to cancel the service. And I asked if there anything else I can do and if I was going to get charged? The rep said "no, all you need is your cancellation number." And he gave it to me.

    On February 17, 2015, I called to ask why I was receiving a bill. I told the rep that I called and they told me I wouldn't have a problem. Annoyed I asked to speak with the supervisor he said that they never received a call from me on 12/22 and I gave him the confirmation number and he apologized for the inconvenience and told me that it would be terminated without the $100 penalty. Then I told him that it was their mistake that it was unfair for me to pay. He told me I didn't have to pay for the $6.95 service fee. I would only pay the gas charge. He gave me another cancellation number.

    I called on the 2/23/15 to pay and I got the same harassment that I had to pay the full amount but I told the rep that I was only paying the gas charge and that was it. That's what your supervisor said I can do. Then he said "ok. I just read the notes. But to warn you that you will need to pay the next 2 billing cycles in full." I agreed since my contract was terminated. And he was being kind enough to explain everything to me. But since then I'm being called M-F telling me I need to pay and getting harassed. This is ridiculous!!! I already paid and my next payment is due 3/23/2015.

    Today I wanted to pay my 2nd to last bill and the rep ** tells me he can't process my payment unless I pay the full amount. I told him that I'm only paying the current charges. He tells me I need to talk to customer service yet again to get this situated. This is just so disturbing. This should've been fixed the first time I called. And I should've been explained all the procedures! So he transfers me and they hang up on me. I call the 877 number and I'm on hold for 15 minutes and when I think I'm getting through I get hung up on. It's just so exhausting and they just lie. Worst customer service ever. No organization whatsoever. I DO NOT recommend this company.

    Every month for the last 3 months I have been receiving phone calls about missing payment. Since I have 2 accounts for 2 different addresses I have instructed Spark Energy to mail me the bills to my home address but instead they keep sending it to the incorrect address. I keep telling them for 3 months to mail it to my home address but to no success. And on top of it all I keep receiving phone calls to the point that it become a harassment. I keep telling them that I cannot pay the bill if I don't see it.

    This is totally ridiculous and unacceptable. I have requested to talk to a supervisor to let them know that I want to cancel the service but to no avail. I have requested the name of the president of the company to let him know how incompetent his billing department is but again to no avail. I have never dealt with any business as incompetent as Spark Energy. I have giving them a survey as they requested but I guess that went by the waste side. I will cancel the service one way or another.

He didn't tell us we were changing suppliers. There's a charge when you change your suppliers without notifying them.

    Do not add this third party company to your PG&E. I made the mistake of doing that when I added spark energy to my account as our 3rd party carrier. My bill went from $25 a month to $150 a month, now does that seem right to anyone? This was supposed to help drop our bill and well it didn't go down - it went significantly up and for a low income family how is that making our life better? Please I warn all of you, do not add this third party company to your PG&E- they will rip you off as they did my family and I am still paying for it. I tried to cancel with them but they kept arguing that I was under a contract and that if I cancelled they were gonna bill me for a cancellation fee of $100. Mind you my family is low income. This company is a scam and they don't care about you or your family and they take the food off of your table if they could.

    Originally I enrolled with Spark Energy because they offered a lower bill for the utilities that I am already using. After 1 year of enrollment with Spark Energy I have received a letter asking to renew my contract. Since I signed one contract for my gas and electric utilities I was under the same assumption that I only need signature to renew my membership. This was not the case. After the first month passed and I saw a triple rise in my usual bill and something called "adjustment fee". I called the 877-547-7275 and inquired about the difference. I was informed that the "adjustment" was the $5 monthly fee that has not been added to my account ever since starting my contract. When that next bill came I saw another charge for monthly use of gas for my apartment surpassing $300.

    After yet another phone call I was told that the high charge was the roll over from the previous month. Finally after the third bill that was still surpassing the $300 mark for a 3bdr apartment I called and demanded some explanations. The lady on the phone informed me that my contract has ended thus the difference on my bills. I asked why was I not informed about it the first time I have called 2 months earlier. She said there will be an investigation and that I will be contacted by someone within 48 hours or 3 days. I asked to clarify if it is 2 or 3 days. She could not specify even this. I was also informed that to disconnect the service it can take up to 2 months. After 50h have passed I called spark energy again and inquired about the investigation. To my surprise there was none.

    A female representative (different than the first time) said that she will listen to the recordings from my previous attempts to contact the company and will find out if I can dispute the charges. It took her 11 minutes. That made me realize that I wasted 2 days of waiting for spark energy and their unprofessional conduct of business relationship with their customers. The representative informed me that when my contract has ended an agent called the phone number on file. Who he reached was my husband who does not speak English. I was then informed that since the agent tried contacting the phone number twice with no response. I was also told that when I called originally after my contract has ended the agent has asked me "are there any other questions?" My response was "no".

    Obviously I had no questions since the response to my question was incorrect. I have not received any formal letter from the company stating that my contract has been resolved (a standard procedure in any serious company), also the company have not tried contacting my husband in any other language than English. I was told that I will receive a $50 credit towards my future bills.

    This month I received a bill for $700 for a gas use for a 3bdr apt. I have not been treated respectfully, or in a valued manner. After spending 4h on the phone with various representative who each were giving my contradicting answers, this month I am taking the action. I will be taking my case to BBB, CUB, and if that does not help I will use lawyer services.

    And was dissatisfied with their services, I called them to cancel services with them between October and November of 2014 and was given a confirmation number for the cancellation. Two months passed and I continued receiving bills from Spark Energy. I will call them again tomorrow and I'm pretty sure they will say they don't have a record of it.

    I called Spark Energy on December 5, 2014 to cancel my service, which I purchased on December 5, 2013. I spoke with ** who advised me that he would cancel my service immediately and that it may take a couple of months to take effect. I received a January bill which was double my January, 2014 bill. (PG&E advises me Spark charged $94.00 more than they would have charged.) It was difficult not to wonder whether the extra charge was not legit, but "just because they could!" within that 2 mos. interim period as I was leaving them.

    I spoke with various Spark people, was told my claim of a December 5 cancellation would be investigated again and they would call me back. They did not, so I called again to be told I HAD been advised of the outcome and that there was no record of my December 5 call. Asked why they could not verify with **. I was promptly hung up on! I still want to know... WHY the Dec 5 cancellation could not be confirmed with **, and WHY the double cost for January???

    I went with Spark after comparing prices with other providers. The service is pretty similar but I was definitely price lured. I've been satisfied with the discounts. Also, I don't normally interact with the other providers. But I wasn't sure if my account had transferred from my previous provider to Spark. I contacted them by email and they answered me within 24 hours. They said they were gonna look into it. They got back to me by email within three days and said that my account had been transferred.     We changed our electrical service. We paid comparable fees to ComEd for a short period of time. Then we started getting very large bills ($400 a month). When we called ComEd, they told us it was Spark's energy charges. We pay $47/month supply through ComEd, we pay $187/month through Spark while paying DOUBLE the amount per kilowatt. ($6 ComEd, $12 Sparks). THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. Do not switch your service. We have been trying to contact the company and first just got a lot of transferring and run around. Now there is only a busy signal when we try to call. We will be pursuing legal action as this gouging and behavior is so outrageous.

    Before Spark Energy I had Public because it was a lot lower than the provider with Connecticut Electric Company. Then suddenly their rate went up because every year they re-evaluate. So Spark, even though it was not that low, was the lowest at the time so I went with them because price stability is important to me. I had to do a fixed rate with them too because the variable scares me with everything else going so high all of a sudden. I was paying $7.90 with Public and then my new rate is $10.59. I only go for the lowest price. Haven't had an issue with their service.

    Two agents came to my door and I had mentioned the fact that I had several neighbors who had problems with their gas after signing up with Sparks. The agents insisted that that was a different company and that I would only receive one charge for gas and that it would be from them. Some of my neighbors complained of being charged double for gas their first month or two. I signed anyway because I really believed these 2 girls. I never received my welcome letter and the neighborhood was abuzz with complaints about sparks, and then another girl came to my door to let existing customers that the rates we were guaranteed were being raised. That did it for me!

    I called and discovered I wasn't yet in the system and began the long process of removing myself from their program. I did this via email two weeks ago, at least. So imagine my surprise when I got my bill today and not only am I still enrolled, I'm being charged a $28 procurement charge taking my bill to $78. I was told I would be charged 4.95 a month and that even with that fee my bill would be far less than any previous bills. What a rip-off!!!

    Not happy with the spark energy service. They were suppose to help you save money, BUT THEY DON'T. You end up paying more than what you use to pay. And to top it off you still have to pay 100$ cancellation fee.. Not a good service, don't advise to join them.

    I had a representative come to my door, promising that I would be in a 'locked in' rate, way lower than my gas company. I was told to ignore my gas company bill and pay the Spark Energy bill. Today, 4 months later, I receive a shutoff notice from my gas bill. They said that I signed up for 'dual billing'. She calculated how much my bill would have been if I only had Southern Ca Gas - $250. Paying both utility bills - $363.23. Why in the world would I have agreed to be billed twice?     A employee came to the door telling me about spark energy. I was told I would get my bill with my southern cali gas bill. Months later after checking I never seen a bill. Now they are harassing me everyday. I've said I need a bill to see what I'm being charged for. Still no bill. My gas bill has been higher than usual. I was told it would be less. Never again. I would not recommend. I am canceling after the year. This is crazy. I don't even have the account or order number but they are charging.

    An agent from Spark Energy called a refugee family new in the United States from the Democratic Republic of Congo. This family speaks a dialect called Kikongo and French, and know only a few words in English. The caller from Spark Energy got them to say "yes" to a contract they did not understand in the least. When they received their bill from Spark Energy, they had no idea what it was, but the cost of Spark, plus usage fees from our local SDG&E had doubled their price of gas. When I called Spark, they told me the contract could only be broken by paying a $100 fee, and they would have to pay for the last two months of their energy bills, and the next two months while "SDG&E changed over the gas usage."

    Of course SDG&E informed me that once they heard from Spark Energy, the service would be changed over within 24 hours, but Spark is trying to milk more money out of a family that never ordered the service to begin with. I threatened a supervisor that if the bill was not dropped entirely, I would get the family an attorney, and we would bring this issue before a judge. He then told me the company would investigate the matter, but I've heard nothing back from them. This company should not be allowed to do business in California, and perhaps anywhere else.

    We had an issue with Spark Energy Gas and Electricity. We have two homes and for some reason they were mailing the bill to the second home which doesn't receive the mail at all because they don't deliver mail there...you have to have a P.O. Box. It was supposed to be coming here. The long and short of it...the electricity got turned off. The house is on a rental program. The renters got there for a 50th birthday party and the electricity was turned off.

    Fortunately there was a lady at Spark Energy who went above and beyond the call of duty to help us resolve our problem with Spark. She went out of her way. I heard the people leaving around her on Halloween night, and she stayed until the electricity was back on. I think they all get off at 7pm but she was there until 7:30. That woman was phenomenal. She's a great employee and she has great customer service in a world that has no customer service. She's pretty amazing. I don't think there are a lot of companies out there that gets brand loyalty, but she is a person that creates brand loyalty.

    I signed up to Spark Energy through a door to door salesperson promising me lower rates than what I was currently paying. However when the bill came I realized that the amount was higher than what I had anticipated. Spark Energy was misleading consumers through their door to door agents who just want to amp up their commission. After being on hold to their office for over 20mins to cancel my account I finally got connected and was told that I have to pay a $100 early cancellation fee. Their main catchphrase is the third party phone call which was their answer for everything.

    They were so cold and calculating unlike the door to door sales agent that they get to trick you into signing up in the first place. To add insult to injury they are located in Texas so I have no way of speaking to someone in person just to a voice over the phone telling me you have just been the victim of a scam. I will make it my mission to inform all my friends, family and unknowing consumers not to be mislead by Spark Energy as I wish someone had done me the courtesy.

    I too agree with all the reviews on Spark Energy, they are a SCAM. I had someone knock on my door with an offer that sounded too good to be true. They promised to decrease the amount that I pay for gas. I even asked the representative what is in it for you "spark energy." I should of went with my gut and not signed up for the service. But he promised that I would save money, even using the fact that I told him that I was a new single mom providing for my newborn on my own. He assured me that I would save on my bill. I feel cheated and taken advantage of. I have a small apartment and my bill is more than I have EVER paid - over $100 for a small apartment!

    I called to cancel my service today because I can't afford the service. Again explaining I signed up to save money. Being a single mom I try to save everywhere I can. On top of not being able to afford my bill, they now tell me that I will be charged $100 early termination fee! I feel robbed!! I can't afford this! They promised to save me money only to take more from me! They also said that it will take up to two months to process the cancellation. DON'T USE THEM. They are a SCAM!! I am so disappointed and I truly feel taken advantage of!

It was difficult not to wonder whether the extra charge was not legit, but "just because they could!" within that 2 mos. interim period as I was leaving them.

    I spoke with various Spark people, was told my claim of a December 5 cancellation would be investigated again and they would call me back. They did not, so I called again to be told I HAD been advised of the outcome and that there was no record of my December 5 call. Asked why they could not verify with "Sean #**" I was promptly hung up on! I still want to know... WHY the Dec 5 cancellation could not be confirmed with Sean #**, and WHY the double cost for January???

    Updated March 3, 2015: I was called by a Spark representative saying they would refund me the difference - $94.00 between their charge and that PG&E would have charged. It was possible this overcharge was "just a mistake", however, since then I have received a check from Spark for $75.58, not $94.00, PLUS the following month's (and final) bill from Spark AGAIN overcharged me $124.68 or $81.94 more than PG&E's rate - AGAIN doubling my Spark bill of last year of $69.44. By their own offer to reimburse my charges over and above that of PG&E, and credit for the $75.58 already sent to me, it appears they still owe me $100.41.

    I may have felt one month's overcharge could possibly be an honest mistake, but to turn around and do it again the following month is outrageous. By requiring two months after cancellation date before service is actually terminated seems to give them a window to charge whatever they please. I am deeply disappointed in their business practices!

    Two Spark Energy reps rang my buzzer, twice, urgently, so I answered the door. They said they spoke with my husband previously and that he asked them to return specifically today, Friday. I fell for it. They ask for bills from electric and gas providers. They then write in pencil (illegibly) on the top of the bill claiming to give a better/green rate. They also told me NOT to give an email address during the verification process, as I assume that slows the process should you decide to cancel, in the hopes that they get their commission.

    Checked rates online with Spark and they have all sorts of plans, none of which were discussed with me. I have used reputable third party energy providers before and saved money, so that was fine. I also knew that I had an option to cancel everything, so I have called Spark and asked for a cancellation. They gave the ref # & advised that I call them back again when I receive paperwork within 7 days for a formal cancellation.

    Also called ComEd and let them know. They said they will send a letter as well and to call them immediately to make sure we do not switch. They told me to call the Illinois Commerce Commission (800)524-0795 to complain. I suppose my review will be whited out within a number of day like the others. Hope you can read this before you sign up!

    After going through the high pressure sales pitch, complete with a call from the "supervisor" to lock in the contract - we embarked on our new service plan with Spark/People's Gas. A few months later, they come knocking again for ComEd as electricity service providers. We thought if it was good for gas, it should be good for electric. Little did we know, it is not really good for ANYTHING other than scamming you out of rates twice the price of the utility companies after your 1-year contract rate expires. The most interesting thing is that they make no efforts to contact you BEFORE it expires, hoping everyone is like us & just keeps paying the bill.

    When December's bill was more than DOUBLE for usage that was significantly LOWER than December 2013, we started calling. No apologies for anything. No proof that they sent a letter 30-60 days prior to contract expiration. Why are they so much of a hungry bulldog with their knocks at your front door and have no interest in trying to KEEP an existing customer? Because they know everyone will eventually figure out their scam & see the service charges, high rates & low business ethics they truly have. We are dropping them - which NOW takes 2-3 billing cycles. Several lengthy phone calls later and a promise of a $75 credit, they confirmed our service would stop in the next 2-3 month cycles.

    January's bill arrived and it is another outrageous rate for less usage than 2014. It appears to be which is almost triple the January rate that ComEd quoted U.S. for their supply. However, there is also a $70.05 credit, not even the full $75 promised credit. How many more months before they can stop service? In today's world of instant transactions, how can Spark Energy get away with such poor service? Consumer Fraud, in my opinion. STAY AWAY FROM SPARK ENERGY!!!

    This person has the same problem as me. The only difference is I was hit with a $500.00 bill out of nowhere. My electricity usage has not changed nor was I behind. They told me that I was not being billed which doesn't make sense because my bill was a different amount every month. I hope ComEd was not charging me $90, $110 or even $136 a month for a delivery charge. That is absolutely insane!

    After enrolling with Spark Energy and was dissatisfied with their services, I called them to cancel services with them between October and November of 2014 and was given a confirmation number for the cancellation. Two months passed and I continued receiving bills from Spark Energy. I will call them again tomorrow and I'm pretty sure they will say they don't have a record of it.

    I looked up on our state website comparing the different electrical suppliers and their rates and conditions. Whether they have a fixed-rate or cancellation fee, I like what Spark had to offer that's why I signed up. In our state, we used to have CL&P which is the main one. Then I used Public Power but when their rates went up, I saw the rates from Spark which I became interested in. They have competitive rates and no cancellation fees. I signed up back in October or November. The person I talked to was very helpful and I had a good conversation with him.

    THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, if your are in CA.!!! Their sales representatives lie, stating they'd like to enroll you in a program for low gas rates, offered by PG&E. I got a visit from such a rep SPARK ENERGY and over and over stated this was a PG&E program. A few days later I got a notice in the mail confirming my request to switch to a new gas provider. I'm assuming this company must get a lot of their money from these shady signups, as the cancellation fee is $100 once you sign up. They will tell you that you monthly gas bill will reduce to half. But actually it increased.

    When I got my first bill I saw gas charges by PG&E and Spark both. When I called PG&E they told me that they are charging for supply and Spark is charging for procurement. When SPARK ENERGY rep. came to me, she told that you will not be charged by PG&E and your gas unit will be at $0.82 per Therm. I will provide gas to you but bill will come via PG&E. Now I am paying to PG&E and Spark both. In actual Spark is doing nothing and I am paying 50% extra without any benefit. FRAUDULENT, UNAUTHORIZED SIGNUPS -- BEWARE.

Spark Energy supplies hundreds of thousands of customers from coast to coast. For the customer’s protection, we have a third party verification in place. First the verifier confirms that the customer is over the age of 18 and authorized to enroll service with Spark Energy. The verifier then recaps everything that the sales agent offers to the customer including the rate and Terms of Service. The customer is then made aware that they will continue to be billed for the delivery service from their local utility company but that they will also be billed for the supply charges from Spark Energy. Lastly, in order for the enrollment to be processed the customer must answer yes to all questions.

    Spark Energy is a scam! This company is claiming to save you energy cost. We signed up with Spark Energy two years ago and they have raised our gas rate from 0.49 to 1.39 without contacting us. I live in small two-bedroom apartment and the bill from Spark energy is half the rent! They claimed they called me back in October when our contract was expiring but I didn't answer. No message was left and no other attempt was made. Supposedly it states in their contract they do not need to contact the user for approval. This is how they get you. How do you know your contract expires if they don't reach out to you? This company has horrible customer service and they know exactly what they are doing is a scam. They are rude and don't care that what they are doing is wrong. Avoid them at all costs. They should not be in business.

    I usually compare rates to see what the different fees are and then the term length, the average usage, kilowatts before I make a decision on which company to choose. With that, I contacted Spark Energy via e-mail because of its fixed-rate energy product and price stability. But it took a while to get a response. I've been trying to contact the company to find out if the offer they sent me was in fact valid. I tried calling and I was on hold forever, so it's like you really can't deal with the company unless you sign up. I don't know how to get in touch with them. I would recommend them but I would prefix with don't expect to talk to anyone.

    Two representatives from Spark Energy come to my door claiming to be affiliated with ComEd and they wanted to see my electric bill to offer me more eco friendly rates. They claimed that it was a part of some deregulation program and that they were doing this since most consumers do not know about the additional savings they offer. That's all well and good but why is Spark Energy letting representatives walk around without clothing which clearly identifies them as working for Sparks Energy?

    It took forever for the representatives to find their badges (one claimed to be too tired to come up the stairs and when she finally did she was friendly enough) and they argued amongst themselves as to who misplaced the badges. I was put off and told them I was not interested. They said they would still send me some information in the mail and that if I changed my mind I could switch. I didn't think much of it until I ran into my neighbor a little later that day.

    My neighbor told me to call Sparks Energy Immediately because them sending information is the equivalent of a welcome packet i.e. that I signed up for their services which is what I DID NOT want to do at the time. She had their service when she lived in TX and only had complaints regarding their service, her bill and the incompetent sales representatives. I called Sparks Energy and was given a confirmation code of the cancellation (instead of sending me information the representative signed me up for service) but after what just happened I'm not sure if that number is worth anything. It's a devious company which claims to offer help but instead uses underhanded tactics to improve their bottom line.

    A Spark Energy representative came to my door. They said they can make my electricity bill go down. Since I have two children and I'm on a fixed income, I thought this would be helpful. I've only been with them for a little over a month. I don't really see a difference in my bill. It has gone down only by a buck or two. But my service has always been really good and the Spark Energy team were great. However, I wouldn't recommend them to a friend. I'm not really happy, but I'm not mad as well. It's just basic service.

    I went to Spark Energy to save money. Getting the fixed price definitely helped a little bit just to have a guaranteed number versus changing here and there. The other company we previously had was terrible. Our highest gas bill was about $45 to $50 and that was in the middle of winter. Once we got on the other company's program, all of a sudden my next month's gas bill was $500. It was a drastic jump from one month to more than ten and absolutely awful. We ended up getting screwed on that whole entire deal and had to pay that money. It was just a gigantic nightmare.

    When Spark Energy came I actually drilled them before I even showed them my gas bill. I drilled them out on all the questions beforehand and felt a little bad for them that we we're standing out in the cold for a while. The representatives were both polite and dressed properly, which was hard because it was really cold out that day. I give them a lot of credit for wearing the nicer clothes versus the warmer clothes. It shows a little bit of their dedication. They were respectful. It wasn't anybody I would have been afraid to open the door for. They weren't scared of my dog, so that was a big plus in my book. If the dog let them in the yard then they must have been okay. Other than the couple of letters they sent just to confirm, I do not notice any difference but I know it's only a few cents difference on the gas bill, but that helps a little bit. It was very pleasant.

    A young lady knocked on my door, and made Spark Energy sound amazing. Then I got my first bill, I was OUTRAGED. My bill had tripled. That day I called and cancelled. The rep said the next month they would not show up on my bill and everything would go back to normal. LIE. The next month my bill was $90 for a small apartment where we barely use the heater. I called again and now they tell me that it "takes" 2 months for everything to go back to normal. They suck you dry until you leave. Please whatever you do DON'T MAKE THE SWITCH!

    Beware: Once your 12-month contract is up you will be getting raped by this company... My price per therm almost tripled, it went from .52 to 1.48. The going rate is .45… And when I called to ask why it went up so much I was told, “Your contract is up and then we charge what we want, you should of canceled earlier.” I will never do business with this company again and I will tell everyone I come in contact the same. Scam, scam, scam. Buyer beware.

    I had a knock at my door today from a young woman, telling me she was working with Spark Energy and PG&E, as a part of a program to decrease the amount I pay for gas. Her spiel made it sound like this was a joint program. She said my monthly service fee would be decreased, which is accurate, and the per therm rate would decrease, which is only partly true since the PG&E rate is sometimes lower and sometimes higher than their flat rate for the 12 months.

    She ABSOLUTELY DID NOT say that I would also be charged a third party fee, which now that I am reading all of these online reviews I can see is the main complaint. People are paying more because of this, but even though one of the responses from Spark Energy on this site says the sales person informs the customer of this fact, it was never disclosed. The girl standing in front of me didn't say it, nor did the person on the phone who went through the process of verifying the information to set up the account.

    I've sent a message to Spark Energy to let them know I want to cancel, and if I have to wait for the paperwork to arrive in order to cancel, I will do that as well. I am also documenting all of this because it looks like so many people have tried to cancel the service, even before it begins, and somehow that has repeatedly failed.

    I was trying to find another energy provider online because I was extremely unhappy with my provider. I chose Spark Energy because their rates are really great. The first time I called, somebody answered the phone right away, which means that they're right on it. I was on a hold with two other companies and got sick after waiting for 20 minutes and just hung up. With them, they were right there. They signed me up and it took maybe about 10 minutes of my whole day so it was a good experience. They were personable and I really enjoyed the girl that signed me up; she and I were laughing about different things. With Spark Energy I get to do more things because I have more money.     I work long hours out of town and can't call them 24/7 if I need to. I had an issue one time and they don't have 24-hour customer service. I think that would be my only hiccup, but everything else had been pretty good. I like Spark. I actually recommend them. During the times that I've talked to them, they've been pretty helpful. I stopped my automatic pay and they were really helpful with that. It wasn't hard. I didn't have to fight with anybody to do it.

    Customer service representatives need more training on courtesy over phone. I've dealt with 4 different reps in 4 different times and received unprofessional treatment. This time Spark charged me $1.28 per therm despite their current rate of $0.59 per therm but will not make any kind of adjustment to my November 2014 bill of $379. We asked a manager who can make a decision to call us back as they're all busy but nobody called us back. I ended up calling and rep still didn't try to get us a manager. I have closed my account.

    The experience so far has been great. I have no complaints about them. Sparks has been easier and more straightforward to work with. The cost is lower and it's been a pretty seamless transition. I haven't had any situations where they haven't done what they said they were gonna do. They've been very responsive and very timely. The only thing that could be better or what I would hope for is some type of advance reminder when my contracted pricing was about to expire. I had one episode where the contract expired, my pricing went back up, and for a while, I was looking at the bills. I couldn't quite figure out why it is so high. But when I reached back out to them, it was maybe a ten-minute conversation and all of a sudden, everything was resolved.

    I've been paying for the gas in my home to my local gas company for over 20 years. Some time at the end of August a very nice, but aggressive door-to-door sales representative from Spark showed up on my porch. In broken English, she presented her pitch and was convincing in telling me that if I switched to Spark Energy as my gas provider instead of Sempra Energy, my bill would go down. I had already just received and paid Sempra for my gas bill for that month. The sales rep said the switch would be made to Spark the next month and I would start seeing my gas bill go down. However, a couple weeks later, I received a "welcome to the Spark Energy family" letter, which informed me that I would owe Spark a monthly fee of $4.95. That is not at all what I had been told by the door-to-door saleswoman. That would not lower my bill, it would raise it.

    So I phoned Spark immediately. I explained, as I did to the door-to-door saleswoman, that the only gas I use in my home is for heat. I have an electric stove. I live in sunny Southern California and only use heat during the few cold months of the year. When it is very warm here, typically May through September, and particularly in Summer, I turn OFF the pilot light in the gas heater and for those months my bill for gas has always been ZERO dollars. $4.95 is not ZERO. $4.95 is exactly $4.95 higher than zero. I had never been informed about a set monthly fee. I felt I was deceived by this salesperson and was very upset about it.

    I called Spark and the customer service person I spoke to on the phone said that the gas service had not yet switched from Sempra to Spark and that he was able to cancel my Spark account. He informed me that though there is usually an early termination fee, it would not be imposed since the Spark service had not even yet begun. I was given a cancel confirmation number -- a number I naturally assumed was the verification from this customer service rep that any account I had with Spark was CANCELLED.

    My gas account reverted immediately back to Sempra Energy, as documented in the next statement I received from them.. for ZERO dollars. Then I turned on my pilot light. The next month, I received my next gas bill, once again indicating Sempra as my gas provider, for the next billing period. And the next bill from Sempra noted that it was for "gas transportation" for "5 therms" of energy. Then I received a bill from Spark for $8.70. What?! I thought I had heard the last from Spark. I hadn't received anything from Spark in over two months. But apparently there was some mix-up or clerical error.

    It was by the end of November. I emailed Spark and explained the details of the situation and that any account that might have been set up for me with Spark was cancelled and my gas service was never switched from Sempra. I provided the cancellation number, and the date and time I'd spoken with the customer rep. I wrote a very thorough email (even more thorough than this review) asking for a response and notification that the billing error has been resolved and this account has been officially and permanently marked as closed.

    Their response did make me happy. I was told that "after carefully reviewing" my account, they "would like to confirm that the cancellation was not completed successfully" (What??!!!?!!) but that they will now submit a cancellation request. (What??? I thought it had been cancelled two months earlier!) It went on to explain that the actual date of cancellation is determined by my local utility company and could take two billing cycles. I was provided another cancel confirmation number. They also noted that "As a courtesy" they submitted "a request to have the $8.70 to be waived" (their grammatical error, not mine).

    However would I have known that the cancellation had not been completed successfully?? And now the $8.70 would be "waived as a courtesy"? Interesting and irritating choice of words, since "as a courtesy" implies that it's something that would not normally be done. However, since the error was made by Spark and not me, dismissing that $8.70 charge would instead be a fair and required action on Spark's part to right this mistake.

    I called my local gas company and explained the situation and that my goal was that the billing be restored to what it had been prior to Spark Energy darkening my doorstep. They assured me that it would be reverted to Sempra and bills would only come from the Gas Company. Within a few days I got written confirmation -- a letter from my Gas Company stating that "both gas procurement and transportation services will be provided by the Gas Company". Sounds like it was resolved, right?

    Was it the end of communication with Spark? NO! This week I got another bill from Spark, which covered the service period for the previous month AND also included that $8.70, which I had been told would be "waived" "as a courtesy". I tried to call Spark again, but was put on hold for so long that I gave up. Their on-hold message said that they had a high volume of callers. No small wonder. So, instead I wrote another email to them -- a brief email including the string of prior emails to explain the situation and my aggravation. I got a response that was maddening. In it, the Spark rep explained that their rates are lower than my SoCal energy provider and that I do still owe Spark for the period shown on their bill INCLUDING the $8.70 and that they could submit an adjustment so that the bill would be HIGHER to reflect the higher rates charged by the local energy provider. (?!!!????)

    I called Spark again. I was put on hold again. I waited and finally spoke with someone who was sympathetic yet unable to reconcile the error that SPARK made in September when "the cancellation was not completed successfully". By this time, I was at my wit's end and asked what I could do to just completely end all ties to Spark. The Spark rep, Luis, said I could pay the amount shown on the bill. He said he saw in the system that there had been a request (from over a month ago) made to waive that $8.70, but that though the adjustment had not yet been made in the account, he would be able to accept payment of that bill, less the $8.70, and that would terminate the account.

I was worn out. I gave him my credit card information and paid that stupid bill, less the $8.70. When he gave me a confirmation number, I asked if it was a real confirmation number that meant anything at all or was it just another useless confirmation number they give out. He didn't understand what I was referring to, and assured me it was a real confirmation number. Yeah. We'll see.

    Customer service sucks. You can’t get a hold of anybody and when you do, they treat you like crap. They don’t have answers for you or can’t answer things correctly. All the experience so far is very dissatisfying. It turned out the rates we were given were incorrect so we’re not very happy. The provider that I used before was substantially better.     I work from home, and my phone number is on the FCC Do Not Call List. I repeatedly get phone calls from this company looking to have me change over my service. The people that call all have Indian accents. I have requested to be placed on their do not call list ever since time I have been contacted (20+ times) and every time I have ever asked to speak to the manager of the person calling me, I am told "please hold while I transfer you", and then all of a sudden the line starts beeping with the busy signal as if we had been "accidentally" been cut off or had the call dropped. I also know they are not getting my number from my existing energy provider because the number they are calling isn't the one on record with my energy provider.

    In October both of my roommates told me that a neighbor was coming around to help the neighborhood get efficient energy. Finally the Spark rep caught me at home. They were pretending to be just a friendly neighbor and it was not until the second rep came that I realized that they were a company. I think it is completely inappropriate to pretend to be anything but a soliciting salesperson when that is clearly all you are. They did not phrase getting Spark as a choice and dialed the sign up number and handed me the phone to sign up without asking if that is what I wanted. I wish I had not been so passive because my gas bill went from $57 one month to $180 with Spark. I am telling all of my friends about this aggressive con artist scheme going on so they are not fooled like I was.

    Spark Energy is the existing provider when we bought our new home. I looked at the rates and they were relatively competitive to the other suppliers. They made a mistake though when they signed me up and charged me twice for the connection fee. And it took forever to get through their team - I was on hold forever. When I finally did, I wasn’t sure if the first person really understood the context of my tone. The issue finally got resolved, but I wouldn’t say it was the greatest one upfront. Not when you move and you get a new provider. Spark Energy lacks responsiveness to solve my issue.

    Here are the facts: My bill through People's Gas was roughly $130/month in the months leading up to entering into an agreement with Spark. Upon having my gas supplied through Spark my bills jumped to $212 and $234 in the coming months. People's Gas notified me that they bill me, and additionally Spark bills me. I was informed by a rep at People's Gas that had I not taken on Spark as my supplier my bills would've remained around $130. I think some of this issue has to do with the inflexibility of People's Gas in working with Spark however I wish I would've been educated on some of these difficulties by the Spark rep prior to signing up. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever to be charged extra by People's Gas for having Spark do what People's Gas was doing anyway.

    Leading up to Christmas I have paid $184 MORE than I would have had. I just stuck with People's Gas as my supplier. Now I can't get that money back. Basically I've double-paid for my gas the last few months since signing up. I was told by a Spark rep that there was some issues with their billing system over the last few months and they hadn't gotten their bills out to People's Gas in time. Hence I also had a 'back up' of charges on my account from Spark. I am giving 2 stars because I did appreciate the sincerity of the two reps I dealt with over the phone. They made the cancellation process simple.

Spark Energy bills you for the amount of therms that your household uses monthly. Your meter is read by Peoples gas as they inform us monthly of your usage.

    I see that you mentioned that you have double paid for the gas but we do want to suggest that you also compare Spark Energy’s rate per therm for the time frame that you are referencing to that of Peoples gas. You would also want to compare the amount of therms used monthly and see if your usage increased as well. If the usage did increase this would cause you to pay more for the supply.

They said that it will be putting on a lower discount rate from what I was paying already, that it was legit so I went along with it. It seems to be true. My bill is real good. I'm getting ready to make my payments. The bill has been lowered since I had it and that's what I need. It's really helpful to me and Iv'e been trying to tell my friends and people about it but they find that maybe it's too good to be true. The rate is very low and reasonable. This happened back in early OCTOBER. It is now December and Spark is trying to bill me. This company has SOME NERVE!     I was not let go at my front door until I agreed to go with such a good idea. Well I've been living in my home for thirty years and my gas bills have slightly gone over 78.00 for a month. However I just opened my gas bill for this month - $224.88. Well that is not the half of it. I called Nucor Gas and told them about it and they said. "Well you went with Spark Energy.     I feel very lied to by this company. First of all two people came to my door one day saying they could lower my gas bill payment. They said they were similar to the CARE Program and asked to see my gas bill. So I told them “No thanks.     I've read hundreds and hundreds of complaints about Spark Energy and I feel so misled, lied to, cheated, disrespected, violated and downright scammed that I can't believe how this company can remain in business in this country. My story is the same as all the other complaints on this website and all over the internet and I'm sure they will copy and paste their same "We are very sorry..." response to this complaint as they have with all the other people they screwed over in this forum and who knows where else. A female salesperson knocked on my door, even when I have a "No Solicitors" sign clearly posted and claimed she works in conjunction with my gas company - Southern California Gas Company.

    She said she could save me money on my gas bill and I was very skeptical because the badge around her neck was turned around so I couldn't see it and I told her I wasn't interested and I was on a long distance phone call. She did not take no for an answer and said she could come back the next day so I agreed reluctantly. The next day she showed up and asked if she could see my gas bill in order to save me money. After reviewing my gas bill, she talked me into signing up. Almost two months later, I received 2 statements: one from Spark Energy for gas supply and one from my gas company for transportation... and it didn't add up. I was now paying double for my gas and I confirmed that I was only paying for transportation from my own gas company when a Spark Energy representative tried to shift the blame and claimed that my gas company was wrongly charging me for supply and transportation when in fact, they weren't.

    Immediately I cancelled my account with Spark Energy and told them I WILL NOT PAY ANY cancellation fee of any kind and will fight them to the bitter end. I still have to pay Spark Energy 3 payments for gas supply, which if I can I will get it refunded back to me... they deserve to and should eat these payments. A number of my neighbors were also scammed by this company and since have filed complaints and have cancelled their contract with Spark Energy. After this, I'm filing a complaint against Spark Energy with the council of the Better Business Bureaus, which to no surprise Spark Energy is not a BBB accredited business. I'm also taking them to small claims court if I do not receive a full refund of everything under fraudulent misrepresentation in California. Spark Energy, in my opinion, is a disgrace to American businesses. Do NOT ever sign up with this company or you'll be here writing the exact same thing. BEWARE!

    The person that came to my home when I sign up knock on the door, and when my son open the door, she came in without an adult inviting her in. She told me that I was going to pay less for my gas after looking at my bill, and said I was only going to receive one bill a month, that I could still pay it to the gas company. Everything was going to be included. The last two months, I have been paying my bill like usual to the gas company. This week, I receive a bill from Spark Energy and I call them. They say it's two different bills but the problem is that I have been paying my regular bill to the other company, and now they are charging me too. They said to wait to get a phone call from them after they review the phone recording from when I signed up, and they have not contact me. I want to cancel without paying the cancellation fee. I don't like this company.

    So today a guy from "Spark Energy" came to my house to offer us a "deal" so I can save more money. He said he was with SDG&E and wanted me to show him my bills. I speculated that he was up to something and said no and threatened that my rates go higher. I called SDG&E and told them about this and they said and I quote "DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING." The second she told me that I knew he was going to give me some stupid reason to sign up. But I told him no. He left my apt. and since the apartments that I live at is full of family members I went to warn them about this. When I got to my cousins house she already had given him her bills and info but before she signed I told her what the SDG&E lady told me and stopped her from signing. That made the "Spark Energy" man mad and threatened me with a backhand to the face if I did that again. He then went to my cousin's house across the street and started telling him about the company.

    I came up to him and told him to stop lying to my cousins and told my cousin to refuse the offer. The salesman got outraged and was about to hit me until he saw my other family member was recording. (I did not know she was recording at the moment.) And to tell the truth I was actually scared since I’m just a 15 y/o and he was about 25. He then left without saying another word. So I’m here right now to tell everyone to not fall for their tricks and if you see them talking to another person, please explain their purpose. I would post the video but I haven't received it yet. The next time I see a "Spark Energy" man coming to my neighborhood I won't hesitate to call the cops. (Oh and the person who came by my house had a paper id, was wearing it backwards, and wouldn't give me his name when I asked politely.) Be careful my friends.

    I love Spark Energy. I was in Chicago at my mother's house and a gentleman was going door-to-door explaining what Spark Energy was. He showed us how uch she could be saving so she switched. I randomly asked him, "Is this sold where I live? I live in Elgin." And he said "yes, as long as it's in the Illinois area." So I pulled out my bill on my phone and he showed me. And I said, "If it's okay to sign up, I'll sign up as well." I have an at-home daycare here in the house and I use the electricity a lot with the children because I do have a TV, a DVD, a VCR and at night I have to have the lights on. So I thought maybe this might help me save a little bit from what I was already wasting. Now my bill doesn't go over $50 anymore. Before, depending on the month, it will go from $50 to $80, to almost $100. This month, my bill was only $45. The experience with Spark Energy is positive and very helpful.

    I called Spark because someone was telling me that I had to do something in order to lower my Smart bill and they needed the service agreement number. They told me that I didn't need to do anything because I'm already on there and I'm on a set number, it's $39. The gentleman that came was very nice, very pleasant and explained most of the stuff for us.

    Right now, it's coming up pretty good. They said that due to a check, our bill was gonna be very low. But right now, my bill actually came out on $50 and I don't understand why because we haven't even turned on the heater for the house. That's kinda high. We were paying between $27-$28 before. And we don’t know how we’re gonna be paying now that pretty soon we’re gonna be turning on the heater on the house.

    A couple of young guys in their 20s or 30s came to our home. They were clean-cut kids, polite, courteous and neat. They asked about our utility bills. My electric bills were between 250 to 450 a month, depending the month. My house is a little bigger than my neighbor’s house, and I have two air conditioners. They were telling us, “Wow, you guys sure pay a lot. You like to bring the price down?” And I said, “Of course.” They brought out paperwork and showed me in writing how I’d be able to lock myself at a fixed rate with Spark Energy. I couldn’t believe it. So that sold me right there. That offer was made, I’m like, “How can you do this?” And they said, “We can.” And so I said, “Sign me up.” Now I’m paying less than half of what I was paying before regularly with PG&E. Spark Energy saved me some money. So far it’s been lucrative. It’s been a win for everybody. It’s been a win for my family, it’s been a win for them. They needed a client and we're happy with them. We’re not wasting money and that’s what this is all about. My wife and I are pretty content. There haven’t been any glitches. I would recommend them.

    So I have Spark Energy for three (four?) years. Over the last few months the energy bill seems to be bit higher which I attributed to us working from home. Then one day I looked at the bill. What I discovered is that Spark charges me around 12.3 cent per kWh when I can buy a kWh from ComEd, my local electric company for 7.6 c per kWh. Why, you ask, I'm paying almost twice the ComEd rate? Because I don't have a long-term contract Spark Energy tells me, and they be happy to enroll me in a new contract for almost 10 cent per kWh (still 30% premium over ComEd rates!).

    Needless to say I've requested my service to be moved to ComEd (been waiting 30 days, it has not been done yet), and let BBB and Illinois Attorney General know about the Spark Energy deceptive business practices. If you considering switching to Spark Energy in Chicago I strongly consider comparing rates first, or you will end up paying hundreds (thousands over the last two years?) more.

    A salesperson came to my door a few months ago and told me that the company was linked with Nicor and would offer me even cheaper service. She urged me that it was true and urged me to sign. After asking her various questions, I signed believing that Nicor had redirected to her as she told me. All this time I have been paying Nicor and Comed for gas and electricity as before and Spark Energy Collection has now been leaving me voicemails that I owe them. They have provided me with no service. I was pressed into signing believing them to be in partnership with Nicor, did not receive anything in return, and have been scammed. What do I do?

    A sales representative knocked on my door claiming that the gas company was going to begin charging us a higher rate for gas, said that spark energy had a plan that would only be 34.99 a Month. Sound good to me. I did ask if there were any other charges aside from tax. He said no and that would it. Called the gas company that same day and they explained to me exactly how it would be. There would be additional charges... The gas company would still transport the gas to our house and that would be on a separate bill. Worst part of all my gas bill is usually only 20 bucks on the maybe higher during Winter months.. But not by a lot, I'm in southern California. I would suggest that this company retrain their sales reps as they make the whole company look bad with their lies. It's been a hassle trying to make sure the service is canceled since they claim not to send a letter in the mail or email. Never again will I trust anyone who comes to my door.

    I was told by the representative that if I decided to go with the Spark Energy, I WOULD NOT be billed by SC Gas and that bill would stop coming. But if I had line issues I would still call them. He said because the SC were buying the gas I used from Spark Energy. He said I would have a flat bill of only 34.99. Who wouldn't be tempted? But as the old saying go, if it sounds too good, beware. Well here I am a month with these people and the first bill comes. Sure enough it was 34.99. Two days later here comes a 25.00 and some odd cents SC bill as well. Immediately, I call them and said they made a mistake because I am with the great company Spark Energy with a flat rate of 34.99.

    The SC rep immediately said there's no mistake. Didn't they disclose to me that SC would be sending me what they called a gas transport charge and would be doing so every month and the charges would vary from usage. Oh yeah, I was not happy of this major disclaimer. So in essence I went from paying no more than $30.00 dollars and even less in the summer months of Southern California to paying $139.95 bucks. And this is on average for the summer. What in world would the winter be like? I will never know because as of today I called and canceled because of misrepresentation. Called the commission, here and there to report them and will be warning anybody who will listen not be bother with this despicable company.

    A young woman from spark energy came to my door, told me that I could lower my gas bill. Just received my first bill from them and from socalgas, now my monthly gas has DOUBLED. I'm not saving ANYTHING, I'M PAYING MORE!!!! This had to be mistake so I called both companies, it's not a mistake. I was told I would be charged $4.95 a month by socal, never mentioned all the other fees. I was lied too. I showed her my bill and we went over it. She showed me everything that I would no longer be paying for. Thought I was making a well informed decisions. My decision was based entirely on lies. They kept me in a month by month basis with the rate increased from $9.9 cents the kw to 18 cents the kw. They will not lower the rate for those months. This rate is so high that to me should be illegal and not permitted in any way.

    I live in Bay Area, California. Yesterday one of the agents for Spark Energy showed up and asked for PG&E bill. She suggested that we would be saving 50% of our bill. I asked her how would we be billed. She suggested that everything was included in the plan and we will continue to pay through PG&E. I immediately signed up for the service. Upon researching more on the web, I came across this forum and the de-regulation clause the representative used. The following facts were misrepresented or falsely stated to encourage me to sign up:

    1. ) the agent did not mention that I will receive two bills - one each from Spark Energy and PG&E.So total gas bill would be never be half of what I was told. I was given false information here.

    2. ) she mentioned that due to recent deregulation, consumers have more choice. De-regulation happened in 1991, and its been awhile. I was given misleading information here.

    Today I called Spark Energy customer service department to cancel my service/account. It did not make sense to me when the agent told that all their systems were down and they have to manually process my account. I gave them the needed details, including my current gas provider account (strangely, the agent did not ask the name of the provider). When asked for confirmation through email, the agent told that they only mail paper confirmations, and I should receive a cancellation mail in next 5-7 business days. I will call the customer service again tomorrow to make sure my account is indeed cancelled. Can anyone suggest how to really make sure the account is cancelled? I don't want to do any business with Spark Energy.

    They came to my home on the 26th of September and they told me that the current gas electric company that I was with was closing down. He then told me that I needed to give them my bill so that he can transfer me over to their company. I thought it was legit so I did it. The one I was talking to the person on the phone they told me something that he said the total opposite of. After he left it got me thinking but this was wrong. So I googled sparks energy on the internet, I looked at all the reviews. It was the same thing over and over again sparks energy does this energy does that. One of them will basically all of them said that they come to your home telling you something that is a lie and then you later find out or see your bill and is tripled.

    So yeah I canceled is the same day after reading all the reviews or so I thought. I tried canceling it again they told me it was cancelled. Today I received a letter from my gas and electric company here in San Diego stating that they were still going to give me a bill and they signed me up for a dual account. Basically I'd be getting a bill from sparks energy and my energy company here in San Diego. That is not happening. I called spreads energy again and got the same bs you know what. All I gotta say is sparks energy is a total piece of crap and I am reporting them to every agency that I can report to about their behavior and what they're doing to people - every new station I know about them. This company needs to stop what they're doing NOW!!!!

    I decided to use Spark over another electricity and natural gas provider because of its low price. I weighed both options of going for fixed rate energy or price, and I didn't want to go too far out and I was thinking six months would probably be the longest I'd want to go because it's hard to figure out energy prices so I didn't want to go month to month. I did use other gas provider maybe 4 or 5 years ago and I had a three-year contract and that went real well and what they did was

    without notifying me that they were changing, they just put me on my old gas supplier and my gas rate increased by about twice so it doubled. So from then on I'm starting to watch it closely. And I would recommend them to a friend.

    I was told by the representative that if I decided to go with the Spark Energy, I WOULD NOT be billed by SC Gas and that bill would stop coming. But if I had line issues I would still call them. He said because the SC were buying the gas I used from Spark Energy. He said I would have a flat bill of only 34.99. Who wouldn't be tempted. But as the old saying go, if sounds too good, beware.

    Well here I am a month with these people and the first bill comes. Sure enough it was 34.99. Two days later here comes a 25.00 and some odd cents SC bill as well. Immediately, I call them and said they made a mistake because I am with the great company Spark Energy with a flat rate of 34.99. The SC rep immediately said, there's no mistake. Didn't they disclose to me that SC would be sending me what they called a gas transport charge and would be doing so every month and the charges would vary from usage. Oh yeah, I was not happy of this major disclaimer.

    So in essence I went from paying no more than $30.00 dollars and even less in the summer months of Southern California to paying $75.00 bucks. And this is on average for the summer, what in world would the winter be like. I will never know because as of today I called and canceled because of misrepresentation. Called the commission, here and there to report them and will be warning anybody who will listen not be bother with this despicable company.

    We used another provider in the past. Spark Energy came and knocked on our door. The man said that my energy would never be over $40. It bothers me because that wasn't true and I'm angry with the experience. It made my bill much higher. They misled their claim because not only did I have to pay for the term, it was $40 plus my regular bill would normally be. Prior to switching to Spark Energy your bills included both the cost for the gas used as well as the cost to deliver that gas to your home or business. What this means for you is that while you will continue to get bills from your utility it should be reduced by the amount they would have charged you for the gas used.     2 Reps came to our house about a month ago and asked to see our Gas bill. We asked why and they gave their speech on lowering our gas bill. We noticed that they had at least 40 gas bills that had collected from neighbors on a clipboard. To make a long story shorter. When we confronted them about it they just walked to our next door neighbor. We signaled her not to talk to them and called the cops from outside. They heard this and one took off in the car and the other jumped the fence and disappeared as the police pulled up. The police said they had complaints about these guys and actually cornered off the block for a little bit and was unable to find them. Guess what? Just today 2 other reps showed up and I old them the story. They said they weren't doing anything wrong. But took off again when I said I would call the police if they didn't leave the neighborhood. They sure were able to run really fast back to their car and peel out. Why do they run off when threatened with the Police!!!! BEWARE!!!!
