Terrible experience. Complete hypocrites. They refused to provide any information about why they were charging me a $330 security deposit, even though I have a credit score greater than 750. I also shared my credit history from my previous electric supplier (PSO), but they didn't accept it and just said I had to pay. When I asked what factors they used to decide that I had to pay a security deposit, especially when I didn't have to pay one with my previous provider, they refused to answer and hung up on me. They even said, "If you have a good credit score, then why don't you go ahead and pay the security deposit?" They also warned me that if I didn't pay the security deposit, they would shut off my service. I wish there were PSO or another electric supplier available at Villas at Countryside.

This is an absolute joke of a company. Every time the wind blows now my electric goes out. However they keep the stupid college electric on no problem. Upgrade your systems enough to help residents instead!!!! Quick to want that money but not get the power on. What a joke!

WOW! As a property manager with over 30 properties I have never had this much trouble starting service. Put in a request Tuesday online. I assumed account was set up. My cleaning crew showed up 2 days later with no power. I spent hours on the phone being transferred around. Paid $700 deposit, had to email my ID and social security card, which I felt very uncomfortable doing. The unfortanate part is it's a monopoly, they are literally the only option. Customer service department was the worst!

It is very odd that after the storm OK had a few year back, the one that landed majority of us without power for 2 weeks, some more. They Increased prices, and publicized it was to increase the "GRID". However all I have notices is now they are in western Arkansas doing business! HOW did you get their increasing our rates "TO" insure Oklahoma "GRIDS"!! I feel they lied to OK residence! Now when you call you cannot get an "AMERICAN" they are all over seas. HOW! HOW does our rates increasing pouch our AMERICANS out of JOBS!!!!! HOW are you in another state. I haven't seen one pole fixed in my Naborhood. They are still crusty. You all are not for us, the people! American growth! You all are thieves and deliver cheep lies. I'm am so disappointed in OG&E!!

I got my power shut off last Friday by OG&E. My son and I are diabetic now we can't keep our insulin cold and my also has asthma and I pray he doesn't need his breathing machine. I also have my husband in a Nursing home do to a massive stroke and onset dementia. I told all of this to a representative there. All he said, "Well that's your problem and as soon as pay what's owed then we will turn the power back on."

By the time I pay all my bills I would make a payment and my husband's social security check is gone due to the nursing home free. OG&E Use to be very helpful and kind. I think they should have a pay plan like they use to have a one payment a month. Now it's pay the amount they tell you to pay, then you're to pay payment on top of previous bill. That isn't right. This company is a multi billion dollars business. So if something happens to me or my son for not having our insulin I'll be getting attorney. Maybe I should go ahead and get a attorney. Oh and if you want to talk to a supervisor, they'll return your call within 24 hours to 72 hours.

They keep on going up and raising the cost of kilowatts to the point I have to raise my thermostat to 85 degrees in the Summer months and 65 in winter months cause I'm on fixed income. It's ridiculous. Only thing they care about is the Almighty dollar.

Automotive system does not work. Had to wait on hold 30 to speak to them to find out what is going on with my bill. Horrible customer service. Keep up the bad work. When you do get to speak to someone they seem out of touch. Clueless.

So, I have to add my wife's name on the bill so we can use it for bank purposes, but because some lady cannot copy family names in the right way, we are dealing with them to amend the name and my god... I never ever experience in my all life such a complicated company to deal with regarding some name update, they are not from this world, sorry to say this but in 2025 we still have Companies dealing with customers like this, no way!? And this has been going for weeks now... Really disappointed so far, I wonder if we need more serious stuff to get it done. How it can be...

My electricity company is OGE. Their customer service is usually very helpful but you occasionally will get a rep who is not. They have programs in place to help those in need and programs to help control the rising cost of electricity such as windmill production, solar panel grids, which unfortunately there is a waiting list for. They offer average billing and smart saver program where they give a smart thermostat for free and install it and during peak hours, it controls the temp from 2-7 pm when electric cost are the highest. They also offer a free weatherization program.

Usually the customer service was good... sometimes you get that one who acts like they didn't want to go to work that morning but if you're nice to their customer service they are usually cordial with you. My bill seemed to steady climb every month but after talking with customer service and others several times we finally got it straightened out. When I stayed in other states the price seemed a tad bit higher. As long as you do your part to conserve the value should be okay. I really had no problems with their reliability... as long as you paid your bill you are good. I never experienced a power outage but I am assuming that if for some reason I was to have lost power it wouldn't be too long of a wait to get power restored. When I first received service they were really quick out there to turn on my electric service.
