The Turo experience was great, I’ve been renting cars for over 25 years. Stumbled upon Turo 2 years ago. I was thinking, "Why didn’t I think of that." It is a great app. I tell all my friends and family about it. Will never rent anywhere else again!!!

The BMW was delivered on time...clean....with courteous owners. I will do this again!!! My days of standing at an airport counter for a rental are over!!! This was my first Turo experience and I will definitely use Turo anytime I need a vehicle out of town.

I enjoy the rental. The car was clean and the price was ok, the breakdown of charges and credits didn't add up though looking at the receipt it said I had a credit of 40.00 but Turo sent an email saying I had a credit of 12.68..

I will definitely refer this service to friends. The service was great and the prices are phenomenal. Clean car, friendly transaction and great choices to choose from, all for a very low price. I will be using this service again very soon for another family trip.

This was an easy, easy transaction. Loved the ease of using Turo! I like being able to pick my car appropriate for my trip and my budget. Love the drop off and pick up - no long lines at the rental counter.

I was DELIGHTED with the car and DELIGHTED with Justin. I just was a little disappointed with Turo. I had questions about the insurance as I think the website is quite ambiguous. The answer given (online chat) was also vague. It was frustrating I couldn't SPEAK with someone at Turo.

I rented a much cheaper car, but when that vehicle became unavailable, Turo made it right. Turo was quick to problem solve! I definitely will use Turo again and will suggest my parents use it too. Thank you Turo. I've never driven a Subaru, but the vehicle we got was new and clean.

Wow, what a phenomenal automobile! This was my first experience using Turo, so I was a bit nervous. Emil, was definitely a true gentleman and he made the process very easy. I chose to pick the car up instead of having it delivered. Emil, allowed me to pick the vehicle up an hour early which was great and when I arrived he was waited outside. We shook hands and he briefly explain any details I needed and I was on my way.
The Car: The vehicle was immaculate, Emil said he had just had it detailed and it looked showroom quality. The thing was a beast, a true super car that is a blast to drive. It's most definitely a head turner and a woman magnet. It roars like a race car but purrs like a kitten and the rest is irrelevant. The Dropoff: Once my time was up with this amazing car, I topped off the fuel with premium and drove it back to Mr. Emil's residence. Since Emil was not home I left the vehicle parked in his driveway and reached out to him to verify the car is back and he could lock it up.
The Overall: The overall experience was more than I ever could have expected and to top it off I left my keys in Emil's car and he was nice enough to look through the car for me, find them, and put them away for me to retrieve. Emil was absolutely a nice guy and very professional, he was a pleasure to do business with and I look forward to the next time. I would highly recommend Emil especially to first-timers. I also recommend the Benz GT AMG he has, you will stand out for sure and there is no other Benz nicer in my opinion on Turo in Houston, TX! Thanks again Emil, my fiance and I thoroughly enjoyed our special night thanks to you!

They took $367.10 from my card and that's bs. Tried to say I return car 3hrs later only an hr due to it storming and navigation system, I would never rent from them or tell my friends and family if they going to RIP you off like that.

Service was great. Had blizzard at home first day of trip so was disappointed. I still had to pay for the day I didn’t get to use it. But everything else was great. Car ran great. Drop off and pickup was a breeze.

I was able to locate a rental very close to my home. The car was in excellent condition and immaculate. Owner was prompt and professional. Pick up and drop off was very simple. I will definitely rent from Turo again.

The rental included very easy pick up and drop off. The vehicle was super clean and spacious! Even though I did not use it, I loved seeing that FasTrak was included with the car. I would definitely recommend renting from Eli and look forward to renting from her again in the future!

The system was smooth once I figured it out. Suggestions; pinpoint car location vs just vehicle description, lot, & tag #. If you can unlock via gps you should be able to track for your customer. Also I may never use the system in adverse weather as pics & upload would really be a drag in bad weather. Josh was a great host with the communication I needed.

We loved the rental and the process of everything how smooth it went. I didn’t have the best service when uploading my photos before and after. We had a tiny problem with the Jeep but quickly figured it out but it was a bummer to have it be a problem during our trip. Love this and will definitely use again.

This was my first TURO experience. The car was great! My Hostess was very accommodating - both of my flights had status changes last minute. Melinni was very understanding. I will use this service again. Better selection than traditional car rentals.

This was easily the best car rental experience I have ever had. I was easily able to schedule my rental from the app and on top of it I got to drive a cool car! It was clear that the car was well cared for and I didn't have to worry about how previous drivers treated. Communication was easy and effective through the app.

Flexibility and great communicator for coordination - both owner and TURO staff. Very dependable and the Cube was great. The options for car selection was great. Only minor thing was vehicle could have been cleaner in the interior. Exterior was washed and nice. I would do the same again the next time I go to Vegas.

If you just want the cheapest ride from point a to point b, go with Enterprise or some other rental car company. If you want to rent a specific vehicle, Turo is the best! I love the selection of vehicles available.

I had a pretty good experience renting with Turo. All because of the owner Alicia! Her communication was great and she was very accommodating. There were some issues with her brakes and a turn signal going out, but me and her were able to work it out and get the brakes replaced and turn signal replaced for safe return home!

The car owner sent a friend who made us wait and check out took around 45 minutes. No pictures, walk around, confirmation of mileage, nothing like other times I used Turo. I immediately let the car owner know the brakes we’re beyond squeaky and grinding. He didn't answer, was nice at check out, said the car looked good. Then accused me of leaving the car messy and exceeding mileage. I already gave him 5 stars based on return, but this has been a mess and if charged, I will file a complaint with my bank and the Better Business Bureau.

Renting through Turo was very straightforward. Sergii was very responsive and upfront with me. Showed the minor existing damage on the car and walked me through the process. Overall, my experience could not have been better. Will definitely be using the app again.

I had reservations 15 days before the trip with a suv. The day of the owner did not have the vehicle where the address she gave and then at the last minute she claim the vehicle needed a jump. A tow truck was coming to jump it. The whole hour and half I stood at there I never saw a tow truck or any one else pull up to jump start it but Turo customer service kept me calm, help find and call another owner and made my end experience so much better!

Simple. Easy. Affordable. Who would rent a vehicle any other way?! Super easy, and it feels good to put money in your “neighbors” pocket instead of a national company that doesn’t genuinely care about your experience. Each renter is basically a mini business that wants you to like them on a personal level. My guy Eric, he was awesome.

App is very easy and friendly to use. First experience was great, from the car, person who rented it, support provided and feedback. No bureaucracy, no hidden costs. Pick up and return very simple. Also very easy to change your trip if desired. The entire experience is pleasant. Will do it again.

This was the first time we used Turo. I was completely pleased. Our Volkswagen we rented was beautiful and a pleasure to drive. Roberto, the owner was kind, and very efficient, and also very accommodating when our flight times changed and traffic made our return of the car late. Megan was helpful and responded to all my messages promptly. She was there on time with car and had someone there to receive it when I returned. Was a great experience. The only draw back was I came in to Honolulu on a cruise ship and had to pay for taxi to and from ship, which I was not aware of which added to cost. My friend who has used this service had car brought to them.

Turo has been a life saver when it comes to traveling both for flexibility and convenience. No other car rental company/program comes close. The vehicle options and pick-up/drop-off locations make it a breeze while the rates are typically far more affordable than rental car companies. I'm not sure where the disconnect is and why customer service is the way it is, but it seems as though no one knows what they are doing. They make things a lot more difficult than it should be. I was trying to rent a car for a about a week and they kept giving me problems. Either your system sucks that bad or you guys hired a bunch of incompetent people. I refuse to give them my business and I will definitely let others know not to use this. Oh be sure to read every posting and learn about hidden fees. This is by far the worst business I have ever dealt with.

My wife ended up with vehicle troubles with 300 more miles to go on her trip, the only vehicle we could find was a lovely Merc GL, fit all the kids, it was great! The lady we rented it from was unbelievably helpful and kind. We had such an excellent experience, I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone.

We rented Mutaz's minivan. Everything went smooth and was easy. The only problem was that the app would shut down every time I tried to start my trip.. Mutaz was happy to take care of that on his end. Drop off was easy too.

We rented a 2017 Honda Civic from Reginald ** which was exactly as described. He was most cooperative and made this rental experience go without incident. We would absolutely rent from him again when are back in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.

$86.00 rental for 1 day and then tried to charge be a cleaning fee for not going through a car wash. Way better off getting a rental car at airport. Difficult to communicate and expense in the long run. Now it doesn’t even want to submit my feedback.

Rented a very nice Tesla Model 3 only 30 miles away. Process was straightforward. Only complaint was I kept seeing references about getting $25 off your first trip but it turned out since I had signed up on my own (no one referred me) I was not eligible for the $25 off. I took the initiative to research Turo and sign up only to be penalized vs someone who had used a referral code.

Very easy process of renting an car especially if your under 25. Only 15$ extra charge if your underage which is super cheap. Most do 20 or more plus and 200$ Deposit. Highly recommend!! My first time renting from them and I will most certainly be using again on my next trip. Thank you for making it an wonderful experience.

Allowing people on structured incomes to be able to have a an extra vehicle to be able to run important errands such as repairing your car, grocery, and everyday situations, and not having to ask friends or family members for rides to the store or whatever. Using Turo.com is a great way to complete your daily responsibilities and not having to beg for a simple ride to the store! Turo.com is the site to make sure that you would always have access to a vehicle so, you can do your stuff and at your own time.

My wife and I were done in Fort Lauderdale, FL celebrating our 25th anniversary. One day we decided to head to Ft Myers because the weather on the east coast was cloudy and it was sunny over there. Used a Camaro convertible to get around. It was awesome to see people turn their heads as we drove by. Car was fast too. Loved it!

Evgeny was fine. He was there on time and very polite. I found communications with Turo very confusing. I never knew who I was to deal with---Turo or Evgeny. I was required to pay a pay for glass damage which was really not my fault. I will never use Turo again.

All in all, an excellent experience. The Turo system, the owner of the car, the driving experience were all excellent. The owner suggested that I swap the car. That was handled quickly and easily. I would use the Turo system again, without hesitation.

I am a host and my guest rented my Mercedes Benz car for 34 days. He drove 6000 kms on top of the allotted limit, my pricing clearly stated that there will be a $2 per kilometre charge for every extra kilometre driven over the limit. Turo reimbursed me only $1750 towards the depreciated value of the car for the gust driving extra 6300kms and not by the per kms charge clearly mentioned in the pricing option set by the host, this is very unethical and highly unprofessional of them to pay the depreciated value and not calculate the earnings as advised by the host in ADVANCE! I guess they would fix all these issues the day when someday a bigger company would give them a tough competition, until then these robbers would do their best to rob both sides. (Guest and the Host)

This was my second time using Turo for travel, and it is awesome. Pick up and drop off right at the door. A nice vehicle, maybe a little older than the rental fleets, but clean and well maintained for a significant overall savings. I will continue to use Turo and highly recommend it to all my family and friends.

As a supporter of Turo, frankly I'm disappointed with the so-called "extras" and this will be my last rental until somebody fixes the "rip-off extras"! I am currently renting a car out of MSP Airport. When in the renting process I looked for a car that I like to drive at the least expense. To my surprise, ALL the cars I looked at had a so called "Delivery Charge" ranging from $20 to $80, first time I ran into this, almost like a metropolitan wide screw the customer campaign! OK, I needed a car and the cost was considerably below the standard rent car programs so I picked out the car with a good rating and a $20 "delivery" charge.
The so called "delivery" encompassed the guy meeting me at the airport and not handing me the keys but driving me to an off-airport location about 15 minutes away and then handing me the key... What am I missing here? If that wasn't enough, I have to return the car to this same remote location so "he doesn't have to pay to park" so I'm paying him $20 so he doesn't have to pay for parking, NICE!!!
Info to MR. Turo, this is my last time renting from you when a so-called "delivery" charge is in effect, and I suggest all reading this "review" to boycott this unnecessary screw the customer charge! Lastly, the guy renting the car was polite, professional and helpful! The car was filthy, one hub cap missing, passenger side of the car was smashed-in and poorly repaired with an 1/8 tank of gas. A real piece of crap!

The car great. The experience was good as well. The only complaint that I would have is at the end of my trip I had to clean the car. The owner was nice to work with. I would recommend him. I would also rent again.

My trip started when the car I booked was swapped for another similar car. I grumbled a little in the Turo messages but took the new car anyways because what choice did I have? I was met at the pickup location after a 10 min walk from the airport by the car owner. He seemed friendly and was concerned about the fact I complained. I said my wife had reserved that specific car because it was her favorite color. He asked again to say I'm satisfied on the app. We had planned on renting the car for one day over what our trip was for because we knew we would be driving over the mileage.
One extra day was $35 versus 75 cents a mile for each mile over and it was just cheaper to pay the extra day. The owner of the car agreed not to charge any mileage over and I could return the car when I was done if I would take down the negative comment about the car switch and I agreed. I should have got this in writing because he stuck me for $105 for going over the mileage. I had no proof of our agreement since it was verbal so Turo can't/won't do anything about it. I come from the country where you can trust a man's word and I sometimes forget things do not work like that everywhere. Lesson learned.

Hidden fees charged after make me never want to use this service again. Not explained up front and as I can see in other reviews a common tactic by car owners to pay their fees. Won't rent again from Turo and will make sure to share with my friends. Hope the $29 was worth it for a lost customer and negative word of mouth.

We brought the car back with less than 3 gallons missing from the tank and were charged 75. Plus they said we went through a toll road which we never did. Instructions for getting out of the parking area didn’t work. Had to contact the host. Not my best experience.

I was skeptical in the beginning. The app, quality of vehicle, performance and communication with Daud was so easy. He was very kind and polite. It’s cheaper than renting from a bigger company. I would definitely recommend to family and friends if planning to rent a vehicle and use TURO.

If you have zero issues with pickup, return and your car has zero mechanical issues, you will love this service. I know I did. But if you have ANY issues that require customer service involved prepare to get screwed. On the last day of my trip my car would not start, So I called Turo and they said they were going to have a tow truck come. I had to get to an airport to catch my flight so I took a $90+ uber ride. I have videos of the car not starting, I tried to jump the car and it wouldnt start. I googled "Mustang Not starting" and it turns out this is a common issue that the engine won't turn on.
They would not reimburse me. I was astounded that they would not reimburse me for an Uber trip that I had to take because of their car's issue. The owner wouldn't deal with me direct. Made me talk to Turo about everything. A few days later I get a $150 charge from Turo. I called to see why I was charged and they told me it was "A late return Fee"... No ** it's late, it wouldn't start and you had to tow the car. I don't know how it could possibly be on time. They said that the car started just fine for them and that there are no mechanical issues. Therefore I must have lied about the car not starting and they will not refund me for my uber and they will not reverse the $150 "late fee".
On top of all of this when I call customer service they are super helpful at first and then they say, sorry I cannot reverse the late fee. I ask to speak to a manager and they tell me they are not available to speak with me. I said I will wait and they end up hanging up on me. This has happened multiple times now. Worst experience I have had with any P2P program. I have had issues with Airbnb before and they ALWAYS take care of the customer. ALWAYS ALWAYS. This company is such ** and don't care about the users. I hope they don't make it. Oh, they also deleted my review for the owner of the car - Can't imagine how many reviews they deleted for that person to have a 5 star rating.

I and my friends had a great first experience with Turo during our trip to Jacksonville. Our renter, Trevor and his associate, Matthew, were both extremely professional and respectful. Our only regret was choosing a vehicle without cruise control and that we went over the initial miles limit of 750 and have had to pay the overage but neither issue was on Turo or our renter. I love Turo and will be recommending it to all my other friends!

We went to Arizona for a week, everything went exactly as Turo said it. This was our first time using Turo, had some hesitation but used there chat option a couple of times prior to leaving and had all concerns and questions answered. I have used Turo twice now. My last Turo experience in San Francisco was quick and painless. I rented a 2015 Ford Mustang and drove around with the top down throughout the Bay Area. Everything was ready to go for pick up and drop off. Would definitely use Turo again!

The customer support staff are amazing and extremely helpful. I really like the chat feature as it is convenient to get help and multi task. The one recommendation I have is regarding the requested photos. As a first time Turo user I didn’t even think to take photos of the inside of the vehicle, the app only prompts you to take photos of the outside and the dash.

Shawn was terrific to work with and made everything very convenient, plus it was way cheaper than a rental for the size of SUV we picked. No waiting in line at the rental car counter or making your way through a parking garage. I had a great experience. Curbside pick-up and drop-off were very convenient, the booking process was very easy and communication with car owner was great (immediate replies). I have consistently rented with Turo and the level of detail you get with Filters to find the car you need is awesome. You are not able, for instance, to identify AWD cars when renting from a typical car rental company and this is critical when driving in snowy areas.

It was an affordable way to get around without the hassle of big rental companies. We will continue to use Turo when we travel with our big RV as a convenient way to get around. Communication with the host was pretty good. Only complaint is the app would not send the email to approve a second driver. It said it was sent and pending but no matter how many times I tried it never showed up in the email.

One thing I'd remind people when using Turo is that you ARE renting from an individual using their personal vehicle, so the vehicles are not brand new and are used! So don't be disappointed if a car seat has a rip, or there is rust on the car!

I am a long-time user of Turo; I have been using it since it was RelayRides back in 2010/2011 and have hosted my own car. However, hosts scamming to increase income are ruining the experience. Just recently I did a rental with Jonathan ** in Orlando, FL. After returning the car he accused me of smoking in the car (I am a non smoker) and provided "evidence" of photos of what appeared to my eye to be sand granules on the seat, not ash... this being a convertible... in Florida.
Despite attempting to dispute this charge, Turo are unwilling to even review the evidence fairly (the only area where it slightly looked like cigarette ash was clearly out of focus and to me looked more like crushed salt or sand) This is not the first time I've experienced "additional charges" on rentals but this is the first time I have had such a significant charge levied. It's worth noting that at no time did Turo even acknowledge that as a previous renter no mention was ever made of me smoking in cars despite having them longer and driving more miles. This increase in scamming activity has ruined Turo for me. It's a shame some. ENTERPRISEing individual can't create some NATIONAL chain of sites to allow people to GET AROUND. The accusation HERTZ.

I needed a vehicle to transport 8 people to Busch Gardens for my daughters 15th birthday! Called & drove to every rental car business in town with no luck. Rented a vehicle (Mitsubishi SUV) with Turo for a week while in Vail, Colorado with my family. I selected Turo’s basic coverage which had a deductible of $3,000. We unfortunately had damage to the windshield which we promptly reported to the owner and via Turo app. Turo initially sent me a quote document for $400+ for the replacement. A month later, Turo said the actual amount paid for the windshield replacement was $1,700+. I thought it seemed like a high amount so I called Safelite (their vendor) directly to confirm. They stated the quote they had provided showed in their system but was deleted since the work was not completed, they did show another invoice of about $1,600 where the windshield had been replaced.
I contacted Turo with the correct invoice of $1,600 as I had every intention of paying for this claim and it was a NIGHTMARE trying to get them to adjust the amount to this CORRECT amount. After more than 20 calls and e-mails all together and several weeks of waiting they adjusted the amount. Had it not been for ME trying to make it right, they would have tried to charge me more than what was actually paid for the damage. PLEASE BEWARE of this dishonest company and should you ever be invoiced or quoted something for repairs you have to pay for them, verify with the vendor. As from all the complaints I now see on their Better Business Bureau page, it is not uncommon for this to happen among other deceitful tactics.

This was my first, and most likely last, Turo (San Diego) experience. Mina was not responsive to the issues I was having. The car was supposed to be delivered to the airport but instead I had to walk almost a mile to the parking lot where it was delivered. There was what looked like vomit in the car and had to wait 30 min for someone to come clean it. It looks like Mina and Linus have a large Turo “fleet” and it didn’t feel like that cared. I was told that the vomit was glue (why would there be glue spilled in the back of a car) and that the service engine light was for the oil change (which indicates they are not doing the maintenance required on the car) and the brakes needed work.

The car (a Volt) was clean and comfortable, got great gas mileage. If you rent this car, I would recommend having the charge cord with the car. I could have used it.

He thought I should get something really fancy but I was looking for a reasonably priced reliable car. I found a car for $39.00 a day and included 600 miles. Avoid this app/service and use more reliable car rental firms. If I could give a zero star rating, I would. I'm visiting San Francisco for a very important sales meeting, approximately 45 minutes from the city. Yesterday, I booked a trip via Turo and arranged to collect the car at 8am, giving me 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive at my meeting. The trip was confirmed the previous day by Turo.
Around 30 minute before my scheduled collection time (7.30am), I messaged the car owner to make arrangements for hand-over. He messaged back immediately saying that he had no knowledge of the booking and, in fact, he had taken his car 'out of service' on Turo because if was being repaired. I tried to book another car on Turo but it would allow me as it seemingly requires bookings to be made 3 hours beforehand (which is understandable). Unfortunately, by the time I tracked down a rental car, travelled to collect it, etc. I missed my meeting slot and the main purpose of my trip was in vain.
To add insult to injury, Turo deducted the full charge for the trip that didn't occur. Moreover, it's many hours now since I emailed Turo outlining what occurred and I have not received even an automated acknowledgement. Again, it there's somewhere that you have to be, or more generally, you wish to avoid serious inconvenience, avoid Turo.

First auto confirmed was an Audi. As I was a passenger going to get the car, taking Uber, I received notice from the host, who confirmed my Audi rental, that no cars were available. Wonderful!!!! Next I found a Pontiac Vibe and had to take Uber 22 miles to get this car using Turo. My advice is a cash penalty should apply to host who pulls a stunt like this, confirming a reservation and then, two hours before renter can get car, host cancels reservation. Vibe rental was satisfactory with the exception of having to travel almost 24 miles to get the vehicle as a substitute.

The jeep I rented had no power windows or locks. The carpet was loose. The soft top was difficult to open. The owner left the car in a lot. I had to wander to find it. He is now trying to get extra money for tolls that I did not have and cleaning fee for no mess.

I was recommended this app by a friend who heard about it from a family member who rents out their car. It’s a typical bait and switch tactic, shows a catchy price then raises as soon as you check out with convenience fees, delivery fee, etc... The way I understand it you are delivered the car to the airport upon arrival but not the case. I had to call for a shuttle because of the hour of arrival, wait in the cold till pick up then over to the holding lot where you walk through isles looking for the vehicle. Make sure you read the fine print because you only get 100 miles per day cap. Then after the fact they want to charge some kind of airport fee I was confused about. My advice, stick with a reputable place like Hertz or Enterprise. The vehicle I had was falling apart and sounded like it was gonna explode.

Very unpleased. Rented a high end sports car. Paid 153 a day for a piece of ** Porsche. The driver left ashes and smell of smoke, the tires had to be aired up daily. It pulled to the right. Still waiting for my deposit hasn't came Thursday yet. Also I tried 3 different cars. Would like if people would be held to re t after they agree. Also the vehicle I had had a engine light on and a cracked windshield. Other than that the service was fine.

Used Turo for the first time last week in Austin Texas when rental cars at the airport were outrageously priced. It was a great experience. It was super convenient to have our car waiting outside the door at baggage claim instead of the hassle of dealing with a rental agency. Also we were able to just drop it off at check-in and didn't even have to fill up the tank the owner did it for us and we just paid the cost to fill it up, no crazy $10/gallon like they do at a rental car agency if you don't have time to fill it up before returning. Bottom line, great app, great car, great service, definitely using again and recommending to friends.

Ryan's BMW was great, arrived on time with a very smooth transition. I am especially appreciative of the fact that we left a cell phone in the car and Ryan was able to return to the airport very quickly with it so we didn't have to leave town without it! Two thumbs up!

The Turo APP is great and the service is easy to use. Searching for the cars is easy, with good description and details. I love the prompts with instructions at the beginning and end of the rental period. Everything was very straightforward. I will definitely use Turo again.

First time Turo user. My first car's window malfunctioned and stopped working while halfway open. After returning to Turo lot, was on phone with support for 3 hours. Valet were very rude and did not function as a cohesive unit in providing good customer service.

Very nice car with thoughtful extras (phone charger and holder). It was economically priced versus other options. Car was easy pick up and drop off at airport. Good communication with host for logistics. Will recommend to friends and use Turo again.

Turo is a whole new way of renting out cars. It's a lifestyle in my book! I'm a huge car enthusiast and I care very much on what I drive everywhere I go! So Turo gave me that opportunity to do just that! Renting out any car anytime anywhere is just amazing! Plus it gives me a chance to test out on how other cars operate day by day and actually putting it into your own garage! Nothing beats that test drive of taking the car home! My initial rental was cancelled due to the vehicle being damaged in an accident. Unfortunately the cancellation occurred the day before I was scheduled to pick up the vehicle. Turo not only notified me right away, but they provided alternative vehicles that matched my parameters in the notification. They even took it a step further and offered to cover the cost difference, which saved me $210 and didn’t disrupt my trip. With this level of customer service, I will definitely book again.

1st experience with Turo was very mixed. Finding the car with my budget-good; Inputting my info on the laptop to get verified-problem (1st need for Customer Service); Ordering car-good; Having the airport pick up misrepresented on their page caused me to cancel that car-problem; Finding out I could only get credit for new car not full, immediate refund-Big problem; Having Customer service help again-good (they're well trained, helpful and patient). The fact that I needed customer service help 3 times-problem. Final car-good; Host-good; drop off-good. I'll try it again for another trip, but that was an unusually steep learning curve for an app/service.

Airport drop off and pickup are the best! No shuttles to rental centers. My Turo host was very communicative and helped us out very much! Even brought back a family members phone we they left in car. I would recommend turo over the more expensive rental car agency’s.

The night before I was to come home from California. The ignition locked up. I called roadside assistance. They came. They couldn't fix it. They towed it but I was left stranded. I had no way to get home and I just think that you guys should have a better way of handling the situation when cars break down and your customers are getting stranded and I was stranded out of state. That's not cool.

I was referred by a friend for this. I created an account back in 2016 but never used it. I forgot my password and requested a password reset. Well it kept giving me an error so I just created a new account with my business email. When prompted to confirm my new email I got the same error message. I tried to chat but it took over 30 min for an agent to answer. I had to google a number for them as it is not on their website.
I finally speak to a gentleman who verifies my info but they had an old number for me and I gave them that and told him my number has since changed since 2016! He told me that all I needed to do was to chat because that was the verification dept. I again go to chat and 15 min later a rep comes and her name is PAULA! I told Paula the situation and she said, "We sent an email to you to send pictures." I ask her, "Pictures of what?? Outside of my driver's license and me verifying all the questions you just asked me on here, what would I need?"
I just asked her to let me chat with a supervisor and what was her agent ID. To me it was a bit fishy. She disconnected the chat. Well I was kind of glad because maybe I could chat with someone who made more sense. Well PAULA answers again. I asked her why she disconnected the chat and she is slow to respond. She said, "I sent an email to you requesting pictures." I said "WTH". So I call and guess what...I got the same guy I spoke to earlier. I asked for a supervisor and he stated that there is no supervisor! He said they need a picture of me "holding my license" and a "picture of my payment method". I'm not send a picture of my card in to to NOBODY!! Here in USA we have secured method of sending payment info. I'm not sure what kind of FRAUDULENT mess they got going on but it won't be with mine!!!

There were many advantages to renting from a local host: Obviously, the price was extremely affordable. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained. Host was less than 5 miles from my own home; took a ride share to pick up vehicle rather than having to spend another $50 having to get to and from the airport to pick up and drop off the vehicle. Easy check-out and check-in. I would definitely rent from Turo again!

This company is a nightmare, I've had great experiences but when things go wrong they are awful, I wanted some queries answered before I booked, they told me to make the booking and mark it as "NOT A BOOKING" (that's the only way to contact the host). I did as asked and for whatever reason the host accepted it instead of just answering the query and although the host was most helpful the booking didn't go ahead and had to be cancelled, soon as the cancellation took place (three hours after the inquiry) Turo took $280 off my card, it's almost impossible to contact them and now I'm told they will consider my request. Will NEVER do business with them until they sort this.

There is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Clear and Simple. Found out that we were being taken to collections, for a ticket that we knew nothing about?! Never received any kind of phone call from billing, never received proof of any ticket, just was told that we were being sent to collections for lack of payment. Tried to contact billing using their archaic "live chat" option. Went back and forth for 40 minutes with the "live chat" operator, who couldn't find the account. Then once he found the account, he told me what I already knew, "you owe for an unpaid ticket"...
Brilliant! I asked if we could be sent proof of this ticket, the "live chat" timed out... Haven't received any follow up email as to next actions. Not sure if I'm being sent into collections, not sure what this "ticket" was even for... The email address we signed up our account with, is hardly ever used, except for junk mail. I can't believe they would allow contact regarding a payment to lapse and lead into collections. The complete negligence on Turo's behalf in contacting both parties in this situation makes me NEVER want to use Turo ever again.

Thomas’ 1982 Mercedes 380 SL - Thomas met us at the airport and we happily drove off. As with any car, you have to get familiar with the machine. I loved driving the car. It got a lot of looks. Very cool. I like the option of renting a private car.

Very convenient and easy to rent. You literally just show them your Driving License and you get the keys. I didn't even have to pay a deposit. The rental was very clean and I did not have to worry about any issues. She even offered to take me home after I dropped the car off but I already had a Uber coming. I will definitely recommend Turo. You will not regret it.

I also got picked up and droped off at the airport and my host was really nice and punctual. The car pick-up and drop-off was very quick. The car was great on the road and was fuel efficient. I didn't have any issues with the vehicle during my trip. I would add an option for the car owner to rate how clean their car is so that the user can return it in the same state. That way if there's been rain or sprinklers or someone who has used it to go to the beach that there's an expectation the user has of how clean the car is.

I would do it again but I wish I was able to get more miles free or at least informed about it. It was last min and I soo appreciated the extra help but I had to go far and it was kind of pricey for me in the end. It was my first time and now I know I should ask about it. I appreciate Turo because they charge a reasonable amount for young drivers as other companies don’t trust young drivers and charge an absurd amount. Turo is convenient and user friendly. Both of my Turo experiences, the most recent four days ago, have been flawless. Cars were in good condition and the owners have been pleasant and accommodating. I only wish there was a way to ask questions of the owners prior to actually booking the trip. I’m guessing this is not done in order to prevent owners’ time being wasted unnecessarily, but since that is my only “complaint” with Turo just thought I’d mention it. I should also mention that both Turo cars I’ve rented were in better condition than my last two Hertz rentals (San Francisco and Phoenix).
