I have been a guest four times and a host eight times. The idea is fine, and I think you can turn a small profit if it's your thing, but I would feel weird inside if I did not report that the company is SUPER slimy. There is really no character or backbone here - it's just a money-making scheme. I don't know whether that is saying much for an app-based business in 2019 but I have to say it. The customer support is absolutely awful. 2/10. The payout goes roughly 30% to the insurer, 20% to Turo and 50% to the host. That means your guest is paying $70/day and you see $35.

I’ve rented the Turo for my pleasure twice and so far the experience has ruined my supposed to be fun experience. The vehicles were so outdated and old and some smelled faulty. Exterior and interior of these vehicles were very poor and embarrassing to ride and by paying money for. I’m never going to rent Turo again. I want my money back!!!

Rented from Donny in Denver. Communications were good, and he gave me all of the information that was needed, when I needed it. He was also flexible with the times I needed. Car was clean and ran well. I will definitely rent from him again if I need a car in the Denver area.

My vehicle was great. Owner was great. The Turo valet lot, however, was disgusting. Would never pick up from that location again. Dirty, barren and looks like a pop up shop where they’re going to rob you. Vehicle ran like a dream and our experience with Jeff was great.

The entire process was easy. We had to pick up the car at a Turo valet and they reimbursed us for the Uber ride from the airport. The only part that was confusing was the check out. The valet just took the keys and then we got an email with a ton of pictures. Wasn’t sure if we were all good or not? Our host Mike was great. Kept in touch with us before and during our rental making sure we were all good. I will definitely use Turo again!

The van was a piece of **. Didn't have any air conditioning in it and when you hit the brakes there was a loud noise and the shocks were bad in the back and when you turn the wheel to the right or left it made a loud noise so if I was your company I would take that vehicle off your website okay. Thanks.

I was rented a vehicle with expired tags, was pulled over with my fiancee and 2 yr old son on his birthday and thankfully given a warning. Officer said he should have arrested me but would give me a warning. When I contacted the host (Hassan) he said it was impossible and couldn't understand why I was upset. When I returned he texted me that he would refund me then didn't respond to texts for 10 days until I told him I would review his rental.

Very easy and super convenient! Very short drive to the lot from the airport, no wait whatsoever when we got to the Turo lot. Car was very clean and ready to go. The car itself didn’t really like 1st gear but it did its thing. Got us from A to B with no problems! We will definitely be renting from Turo again in the future!

While I did like to drive a car I wouldn’t normally rent (convertible, high-end car), I was not overly impressed with the delivery and pick up of the car. The owner’s wife delivered it but couldn’t show me how anything worked on the car because she had no idea. The delivery was also late, leaving us to wait outside the airport. The return was scheduled, I messaged that we were there and where should we meet. Finally, 40 min later, received a text saying to just leave in short term parking with the keys in it. Never did meet the owner, nor did they look over what the car looked like when I returned. Yet when I landed back at home, I received an invoice for $21 additional due to the car not being vacuumed, and a bird had pooped on it. Yes, I saved money. No, I will not use again. When I rent a car I just need it for transport, I usually don’t have time to vacuum and go through a car wash.

It is a great app and chance to rent privately owned vehicles. A lot less hassle than rental agencies. We had a fun trip and 4th of July weekend all thanks to the affordability of Turo. I would recommend this app to all my friends, family & acquaintances.

I was unable to upload to Turo either by phone or wifi. The owner worked with me and the trip worked out fine. Some thing seemed to be wrong with your servers here in Philly. If the owner had not been available or not so concerned about customer service it would have been a major problem.

We loved that there was a huge variety of cars and picking up and dropping off was really easy. Way better than dealing with counters at the rental places. The vehicle was very clean and fueled up ready to go. I will be using Turo for all my rental needs going forward.

Recently, a Turo trip was cancelled by the host of a car because my flight was cancelled and rescheduled. I was unable to reschedule a new car on such short notice due to the unavailability of Turo credit. I will no longer use Turo going forward. I will use Avis next time because they can handle flight cancellations much better.

Our host was easy to reach and was very hospitable. The car was in great condition, was as described, and we much enjoyed driving it. The pickup and drop off process was very easy. We would highly recommend! We were able to drive a convertible around the Hawaiian islands for the same price that we would have paid for an economy car with a rental car company!

This was the easiest process to get a rental car effortlessly. I didn’t have to wait in long rental car lines and had the flexibility on pick up and drop off times. I actually had to cut my trip short due to a family emergency. It was simple and easy to do in the app and get my refund. Mina was excellent and would def rent from her again. She was very responsive and all directions were very detailed.

Very delightful sporty car with the option of economical fuel map for going in traffic or city driving then switch to sport and enjoy the hills and twisty roads of route 1 and Trinity Road in Sonoma/St Helena area. The pick up and drop off it’s pretty much hickup free. Very Little hassle at all. Would do again and again.

We had a wonderful experience first-time experience using Turo. Our vehicle was dropped off right at the Denver airport which was extremely convenient compared to traditional rental companies. Communication was fast and easy. I would highly recommend Turo and will be using it in the future. I can't wait for this service to be available in more cities!

First time Turo user and would definitely use again next time I need to rent a car. The process is quick and easy. There is a large selection of cars to choose from. You have the option of a sports car, economy, SUV or luxury to choose from. The ratea are also great. The car was as described but could have used a car wash.

Renting a car with Turo was easy and convenient, and a great option for the kind of adventure traveling that I was doing. However, much like challenges with companies like VRBO and AirBnB, I was struck by the lack of accountability between Turo and the "host"/owner of the car. There were times when the car we rented didn't feel safe, and I wondered how Turo allowed this particular car to be on the road - a valid inspection may be a few months or a year old and a lot can happen in that time frame!

My first time with Turo was an awesome experience. Host, Carlos, was attentive, prompt, and professional. The vehicle was very clean and in great condition. Picking up the vehicle and returning it was very smooth and easy. I will refer all my family and friends to Turo. I am also looking forward to doing business with Turo again in the near future.

It was a terrific experience! Would do it again in a heartbeat. The owner was there to meet us so it was so easy at the airport to get our car. He was waiting for us when it was time to leave! Thanks to Brenda and Mark and the 2018 Jeep Rubicon, perfect for Maui!

It was so easy to borrow Wilson’s Toyota RAV4 and he was incredibly kind just handing over the keys!! I will use this service again! The rates for over $20 a day for an economy rental and the owner even let me use his aux cable for surround sound GPS.

Slingshot. We had a great time driving to Red Canyon, Hoover Dam and the Strip. Everything went as planned, I would most definitely do this again. Because of the heat the best time to drive was early morning or late afternoon, it's open with no AC.

Really liked this service, much easier than I expected. I will definitely try it again in the future. I really enjoyed the range of vehicles that I have access to, makes it much more fun renting a car. It can also be very useful when wanting to test drive a possible car to purchase. You get a much better sense of the vehicle that just a quick drive with a dealership.

At first we had a great experience while using the car I LA and the lady was kind enough to work with us on returning the car. HOWEVER, after the return of the rental she attempted to pin a whole accident that happened after our return on us! Once the investigation was over and I provided the evidence that we did not return the car with any damage we got a $259 smoking and fee and when I called Turo no one picked up and I just had to leave a message. 95% chance I will not be renting from them again. Beyond annoyed and pissed.

I was very impress of how quickly I was able to reserve and get the vehicle deliver to the airport, no waiting time. Better than rental places and the price was much reasonable too. Thank you, would definitely use again.

This is the best thing ever... easy, convenient & affordable... never renting another car from the big companies. TURO is the way to go. Had a family outing & it was perfect f/all of us to be together. The person I dealt with was understanding & flexible.

This was my first experience ever renting a car, I was pretty nervous but Turo made it easy and stress-free without any complications yay! I have already started recommending to friends. We were able to rent a car no problem, even with my boyfriend's Aussie license.

I was contacted a few days before my trip because the car I was renting had a accident. My host contacted me and I contacted Turo, the customer service was great, they helped me find another vehicle with no problems. My whole experience with Turo was excellent. I will be using them in the future.

This was my first time using Turo, and could be happier with how it went. My car was delivered ON TIME directly in front of Terminal 3 at LHR... The car was super clean, the guy delivering it was great! When I returned it the car, I dropped it off directly in front of where I was staying, again the guy was on time and super nice. These guys are doing it right!!! Highly recommend them!!

The return process was very stressful. I couldn't squeeze into the only available parking space and lost an hour waiting. Then my phone battery did not have enough power to take photos. No human being to talk to.

The car was ready for us at the airport and even did a curbside drop off, which made it very easy for us. Plus they were very attractive to all our needs. I would highly recommend them to any family or friends coming to Kauai!???

Love the price, dissatisfied with the product. Car was delivered with a smidge over a quarter of a tank at 10pm at night after a long flight with 3 small children and a 2 hr trip to make. Car needs brakes with a severe shudder when brake was applied. Car had two large cracks in the windshield and also had an odor from previous smoker.

Clean and comfortable ride for exploring family of 5. Miles gave us pointers for our trip. Highly recommend when you need a car for the day. The only downfall we wanted to rent an extra day and it had already been booked by another party.

This company is racist and they declined allowing us to use their service without valid explanation. Their customer service is horrible and they won't even allow us a valid explanation to why they're denying our service to rent with them.

Kyle was a great host. He and his girlfriend friend were helpful, friendly and very responsive. What I really appreciated was their flexibility and willingness to help and explain things. I'd never used Lyft before and his girlfriend was very patient and explained the entire process to me in detail. Plus the car was very nice. Overall a great experience... and I hope to use Turo again.

No lines, convenient, friendly! We had a great experience renting from Shelley ** on the Big Island and Shamsul on Oahu!! Great customer service and met last minute changes. Highly recommend and usually a $25 discount for the first rental booked. My Liberty car insurance covered me wherever I went so no added insurance needed.

The car provider was nice but lack of communication. I left my sunglasses in the car and reached out and never got a response. The vehicle was in good shape. The rear tires were very bald prior to me taking off, I made it attention to the owner and he was cool about it.

Good overall first experience renting with Turo except I tried to extend my trip and kept getting an error message. And now when I try to bookcase it says I have to pay a $100 deposit which I didnt have to pay the first time. That's stupid to all of a sudden require a deposit when I didn't have one in the beginning. Kinda bummed about it and probably won't use them again.

Car and host were great. Your web site not as good. Car info for booking was entered. When I hit enter to book site changed both pick up and delivery times, which caused a lot of headache for both me and host. I selected a 2:30 pick up and a 1:30 return. Site changed both times to 10am. Wasn't pleased with this result.

Such an easy way to rent cars and the prices are super reasonable! Turo has a great selection to chose from. App is easy to navigate and my first rental experience was great! I love the option to have the car dropped off to you.

Good to use when I can rent from traditional company. I like for convenience as well. If a host has canceled so many times I feel they should be removed. Also the system should be better t applying any credits earned.

Selection of vehicles and availability is much better and more extensive than in local rental companies, ex. None of the major car rental comps. had a convertible available.

I came with a group of friend and all of them now want to use this service. The pick up was easy. I texted him when I landed and he was there after I picked up my luggage. And drop off was easy, I just parked it and posted a picture of where it was and left. Easy!

It was great. The drop off and pick up was smooth. When I called into the company there was someone who helped me with my problem that I was having about my payment. The thing that’s new to me is the mileage. I’ve never rented a car where you had to track your own miles but it was alright.

My interaction with the host was 5 stars, but my interaction with Turo customer service was frustrating. I left my work phone at home and flew to a different state. I was ready to begin my trip with Turo, but I couldn’t log in to the app because I forgot my password. I wasn’t able to utilize the “forgot my password” feature because I created the account using a work email address, which I can only access from the work phone device. I am unable to log in to that email from any other device. So I’m standing there at the airport with the gentleman who is renting his car to me, and I’m on the phone with Turo customer service for about 15 minutes before the Turo representative hangs up on me.

Ride was nice and smooth, great person to rent from and I would definitely recommend him to others. Communicated well and very friendly. Convenient location to meet and in a timely manner. Looks forward to doing this again on my next trip. Thank you for this great service.

Booked on Turo for first time. I usually use rental agencies, but the rates were especially high on my travel dates. Found an overall better deal using Turo. Booking process was easy and initial communication from car owner was quick. Responded back a few weeks later closer to travel date and received detailed instructions on pickup. Was provided screenshot of barcode to use when picking up car from off-site airport car lot, which did not work. Paid for the parking out of pocket which was quickly returned by car owner. Return was very simple and effective.

So I rented from Matt. He was very helpful as it was my 1st time using Turo and did not know what to expect. I rented his Jeep Wrangler and love it. If there was a question, Matt was very quick to respond and courteous. I will certainly use this app more.

Weekend rental to LA. I’ve used Turo before a couple of times in the past and have always had a great experience. I love that you can always chat with the host before and during the trip. My recent trip was kind of a last minute thing but my host was very accommodating.

My car is down and I needed a car that I could count on to take care of my retirement, and other personal things and I got all these started and completed by the last day of my rental. I'm 100% satisfied with TURO and Serjic (owner of car). I would rent from them again as I have more task to complete next month.

Dustin's Ford Transit is like no other! To be specific it satisfied our every need and I got kudos from all by friends on the van selection. If I could rent Dustin's Ford Transit van every time I would. Great sound system, even better entertainment center, and oh the mood lighting. You got to rent it to believe it!

This was my first experience with Turo, the service was excellent, including Rodeo Drive that was prompt to respond to any request, the car itself was in good shape, the Z06 is super fun to drive, definitely a super experience and performance!

Turo was great to deal with. I reserved months in advance and prepaid. Very convenient. However, my problem came from the lack of communication from the man I rented from. Turo has lots of cars to choose from. Some locations you are limited. The whole process should be a easy and smooth transition for both parties.

Car was delivered dirty and I believe I was just over charged for the car. Waited 30 minutes for car to be delivered, and the owner said it was being cleaned. Driver window did not work and I was not told about issue until I picked up the car. Poor experience with Turo as a whole. The first reservation my driver cancelled an hour before I was supposed to pick up the car and Turo was not sentimental in regards to my travel changes and the fact that I have to pay $80 more for this car that I had issues with. I have a video but I am an unable to upload.

The process was quick and easy. Everything went smooth as possible. From registration to pick up to drop off. The car was was just as described. Customer service was quick and helpful if I needed anything. Overall a great experience.

Was very simple, and reasonably priced. My host was very responsive and accommodated my requests for pickup and drop off within minutes. I really liked that my host included general car cleaning in the price so I didn't have to take time out from my trip to head to the car wash before heading to the plane. Will use again!

Great time. I love the selection and they’re all over. I got one in Florida for my brother's wedding and Every time I have a friend come visit me from the East Coast this is the way we go now. It makes much more sense then receiving rides, they even have a really nice cars for special occasions.

The service delivered everything it says it does & the rental was in tip-top shape just as in the pictures. The vendor was more than amicable & willing to work with us on our crazy scheduling needs. Would strongly recommend Turo to anyone not wanting to rent from an agency.

I’ve been a Turo renter over a dozen times and have only had hosts leave good reviews until my last rental host claimed that I smoked in the car and left behind some pet hair (car was pet friendly and I had vacuumed the interior). He charged me $40 extra for cleaning which I happily agreed to and then thought that was that. 5 days later, Turo decides to withdraw $150 from my account (without informing me) for the same cleaning fee and canceled my account due to the owner thinking he smelled smoke when it wasn’t smoked in.

As a TURO host and renter for 5 years, I say there’s nothing better than TURO for renting a vehicle. You choose the exact vehicle throwing the TURO website and get personalized service directly with the owner. You will also give feedback to TURO through a review at the end of your rental so future renters know more about the renter and vehicle. What a great experience!

The first time I heard about the app I was intrigued at the idea that you could rent a vehicle or rent out your own through an online platform. Since then I have become a host and user of the app and business. Turo is a great app and I would recommend it to anyone in search of a rental vehicle without the over the counter hassle, and also to anyone looking to make additional income renting out their vehicle.

Selection was great, lots to choose from and I thought it to be more affordable than the big brands. Communication was good and the whole process was easy, we picked up and dropped off at a Turo lot with no problems whatsoever. Will definitely go with Turo again.

The car was nice and clean. The only problem I had was with Christian. He had an attitude that I came later than the time I said I was coming which I explain to him ahead of time that I was having trouble getting to New Jersey from Brooklyn. Then he got upset that extended the car which is surprising because I wouldn’t expect someone who’s renting out their car to get upset if someone is asking to keep it a little longer. When I came to drop off the car he didn’t even answer the phone.

I was headed to a conference and the rental cars were expensive at the destination. I learned of Turo from a family member and the Turo rental was way cheaper than the traditional rental. My host was very nice as he showed up on time to drop off the car and flexible with the drop off. I would definitely try Turo whenever possible.

This was my first Turo experience. Everything on the Turo side of things went well and flawless. The app worked well and details were clear. My hesitation for future rentals essentially came from the owner of the car after the car was returned. I literally had the car for 15 hours for my wife and I to tour a canyon. Everything went well until the owner later accused me of curbing one of his wheels and leaving his car dirty despite him dropping the car off to us dirty. I had tried to clean the car at a high-end hand car wash but was told the car was too low. Thankfully, his own "before" pictures showed the curb rash on the wheel so it backed up that we did not do this. He apologized after seeing this but it sure did ruin my day after returning the car. I hate dealing with drama like this so I probably won't Turo again. As with any rental, be wise and take a ton of before and after pics like I did to protect yourself, that's my word of advice.

I Have used this rental service 2 times. There were no problems either time. It was Extremely convenient. The Best part is the low cost! There is a wide Choice of vehicles depending on what you want to pay. There is no charge for extra driver. They Just must be approved ahead of time. I Highly recommend you give Turo a try.

In renting cars for years for the major players, I was often treated like a major player. I enjoyed my host and all the personal attention I received..I will be using your service again ... My host made it very easy for me the whole week!!

Good app. Love it. I well rent again. Save time. Very good service. Just add to the app. Clean mode so the cars come more clean. By filter you can get car near you. Very easy and great. Let’s say from 1-10 Score -8

I loved the app. Pretty simple, but I wish since taking pictures of the car is one of the main reasons for the app, have the picture files, or camera more prominent within the app. It took me a while to find it. But other than that it was super simple and easy to follow the instructions!

Everything went as well as possible. It was an efficient, pleasing experience. Much better than a rental car experience. Will always look at Turo before the mainstream methods! Really like their fee transparency.

My now 5year old daughter is in love with Tesla cars. So for her birthday I surprised her with a Tesla rental. She was so excited and loved having this Tesla drive her around. The car was amazing and the features and everything in the car was so easily to drive. It was my first time using Turo and the best experience I’ve ever had with “rental” cars.

Overall it was fine. Eric allowed a 2 hour extension to assist with return flight and traffic. The problem was that even though Turo was accommodating, it still took over 30 minutes to negotiate. That seemed excessive. Everyone was trying but the process seemed to drag on. The car was mechanically great but the upholstery was torn and passenger seat had minor hole in seat cushion. We would rent again.

We used Turo to rent a convertible Mini Cooper to drive the coastline of Cali. We saved some money using Turo and were highly satisfied with all aspects of the company! Highly recommended to anyone wanting to enjoy someone else’s car without feeling guilty wanting to drive it.

Great experience and would definitely be using this app with Mossab again! Mossab was great with communication and made sure he was available to me. I wasn't too sure about this app, but I'm glad I decided to go ahead with it.

My host no flexibility car interior had mold smell. My previous rental on Turo had flexibility on dropping off car and dropping if off and the miles didn't have to modify my days to add more miles. Should have got more miles on each day you modify. Only 200 per day. Had to pay city tax first time on my Turo rental. My reason going to Turo was to save money.

Fantastic experience, so easy and fast. It's like a bed and breakfast for cars! Big name rental companies were closed or out of cars and Turo saved the day!!! I almost can't wait to need it again. I have been telling everyone about it.

Used Turo to rent car for family vacation/reunion in Arizona. Have to seat 5 and had a great experience with Turo. Had a great car that was much less expensive than the big institutional guys. The guy renting to me was responsive and was able to meet my needs. He had multiple vehicles because the original car had a problem and he was able to provide a great substitute to still meet my needs. Pick up and return was easy.

When reserving I did not like that it had to be 2hrs in advance. Sometimes people are in need of a ride at that moment. Also, the power outlets in the car did not work at all which caused a major inconvenience. It was not even noted on the host's page. Other than that. I like the convenient pick up locations and the very affordable price. The car drove very well, was good on gas and the host was very accommodating. All in all, I would definitely use this service again.

Everything ran real smooth with this rental. The delivery at the airport was real easy and the vehicle was just right for our group. Also the rendezvous back at the airport at the end of our trip was without a glitch.

A friend told us about Turo. We used for a trip to Hawaii. What a GREAT idea!! So easy, half the price, the host we worked with was amazing. Excellent communication, easy pick up and drop off. Car came with extras at no charge (2 beach chairs, 2 towels, snorkeling equipment, sunscreen, umbrella, 2 boogie boards, and more.) Will definitely use Turo for all our future travel!!

After researching all of the options available through the standard car rental companies I decided to book our car rental via the Turo App. I found many cars to choose from, but the one I selected was based on occupant capacity, reliability, efficiency, style and then price. I was happy on all accounts with our selection of a 2018 Toyota Camry from Gavi Gordon in NJ. The car was easy to pick up, easy to drop off and was maintained well. Ford Raptor - We rented this truck on Father's Day. We took a ride to the beach and spent the day cruising around. We had a blast. There were a lot of heads turning for the look of the truck. We definitely would rent this truck again.

I came to know about Turo since 2016 and I tried to apply. So I forgot my username and password so I created a new account. So I had two accounts and they said I was banned or ineligible. I gave up and I love you. Co no.3 is down the road. I try to apply them and they asked me all the verification information. I provide them with everything and then they returned me with the rejection letter stating that I'm not eligible and wouldn't give me any reason. This is utter **. I think I'm just a friend from a highlight exotic cars rental other than going all of this hassle. The point is don't discriminate other ethnicity and background.

Very pleased with the whole Turo experience... easy to schedule, pick up and drop off. I looked at several other vehicles before going with the Rubicon. Beware of hidden cleaning fees...several vehicles added on cleaning fees and charging fees (Tesla’s). Fortunately I found a great owner to work with and had zero problems. Will definitely use Turo again.

Dodge Avenger Car was clean, a little weathered and worn on the outside but in good condition. Good driving car, great A/C. Easy pickup and drop off. Car does not have a whole lot power but drove very nice. Felt a little uncomfortable leaving keys under floor mat with doors unlocked.

This was my first time renting through Turo and I had a great experience! Hi, I'm not sure if a lot of owners are inactive but I attempted to book several trips that expired and never heard back which can be frustrating as you can't try to book multiple at once. Also did an autobooking and got charged and the guy had to cancel also. Overall very hard to a book a trip.

Benjamin administrated his piece of the rental in a very responsible manner. The car was mechanically sound. It had some scrapes and dents, but for what I needed it was great. Benjamin was on time, polite and professional. I would rent from him again.

I was cautioned by Danielle when we spoke before I rented her car that she hadn’t had a chance to clean the car, and it showed. So I overlooked that. I tried to adjust the angle of the driver’s seat back but the lever was inoperable so I was forced to drive in an uncomfortable position. Other than those issues, it was a decent lower cost alternative to renting a car and convenient to where I was staying.

The good- booking was easy and the staff was friendly. The bad - The car seats were stained. Almost didn't want to sit down on them. I had to drop them off downtown after I was told I didn't need to. When returning the car I was told 2 different things so I wasn't sure what to do.

My 1st Turo experience was great! It was super convenient and time saving to be picked up/dropped off at the curb and avoid the car rental counter. My host was very responsive and the 2011 mini van I rented was super clean and drove the same as a new rental car for a significant savings over renting from a rental agency ($100-$300). Great service. Cheaper than traditional car rentals especially for additional/ underage drivers. The calculation of the prices get a little odd but at the end of the day it was still cheaper. At the end of the day I still would definitely use Turo again.

Although it was very convenient to and from the airport for one I have yet to receive my money back from catching the Lyft there after I have requested it for 3 times during my trip. Then I could not run the air in the scorching heat because the car kept running hot after it being on for 5-10 minutes so this made my commute miserable. I ended up just parking the car my whole trip and using my fathers car. Only convenience was he did not have to deal with LA traffic taking me to and from the airport.

I was a great experience for my mother and I. I rented a Corvette for her for her birthday. It was very easy and simple and I was able to rent an amazing car for great price. The variety of vehicles on Turo is huge. And with all the abundance of filters to choose from there’s no way to rent the wrong vehicle. Even if you're the pickiest person in the world.

I used Turo for the very first time recently. I must say, the experience was simply wonderful - almost too good to be true. I have to admit Turo is More interactive and accessible than other sites. I like the interaction I got between myself and the host.. have taken 5 or 6 trips with Turo and though not all were perfect the one constant was communication on all sides.. and very flexible and reasonably priced. I was especially impressed with how house for rent increase I might have had or has we were always cordial and professional fat along with price of the rentals in the flexibility and when you can pick up the vehicle exit one of the best sites around.

Bounced around to different people for a delivery credit of $30. Got the car at night and in the morning saw a screw in front tire, host gave me the car with bald front tires!! Would like a refund. William **

After I got the car I wish I would have rented from someone else. The owner was not helpful when I noticed a nail in the tire. I was trying to find out where to get it fixed and he was very unhelpful. I finally took the car to a shop and had it fixed. He than keep telling me how I am to make sure I wash and vacuum the car out. "If there is pollen on the car it must be washed before returning the car". As of right now I don't think I will ever use Turo again.

I love Turo because of the selection of vehicles and the value for the rental of a vehicle. It’s so much more affordable than traditional car rental companies. Owners tend to be easy to communicate with and are there should you have issues or concerns. We didnt damage the car in any way. Returned it same day. Eight hour rental for day trip. Left it with same amount of gas I got when I picked it up. I really liked renting from Turo. I rent cars from the rental car company all the time but you cant pick the exact car you want like Turo. Also the wide range of car allows you to drive a car that you wouldn’t be able to drive on your own. I will definitely rent cars more often.

Turo is a great, convenient service for renting a car. I would definitely use Turo again in the future. We were able to get a great deal on renting a car through Turo, and the car was everything that we expected it to be. The only thing I did not like was that pickup/dropoff from the airport was a little challenging because we had to meet the renter in the shuttle area of the airport. This is not really the fault of Turo, which is why I still gave the service 5 stars.

They let me rent a vehicle, but for some reason wasn't comfortable with my identity so I had to upload all kinds of stuff... and still don't know if they're happy. I was very pleased with the person I rented the vehicle from and was very pleased with the service provided. I just wish that they would have been more stringent from the beginning about the identification process instead of in the middle of me renting a vehicle.

Do you all REALLY have a customer service department? It seems like you all are selling empty promises to get back to me within a timely manner (which it’s also supposed to be scheduled). It’s such a hassle and I’ve had multiple encounters with associates promising a call back from a “specialist” but nope nothing how disappointing. Do you know why APPLE is the best? Not because of their product. It’s their customer service and you all have HORRIBLY failed. I’ve never experienced any OVER complicated customer service that is worse than this. This could’ve been a great app if your customer service was anything other than what it is! A good idea gone to waste because good customer service is what keeps people coming back.

The process to book was simple, along with adding insurance and other optional features with rental cars. The pickup and return instructions were easy and my host was more than accommodating on showing me the features of the car. At that point it feels like a rental. Online communication using Turo's messaging was key to staying in touch with the owner and vice versa.

Nice follow to make a reservation. But I needed to help more when I got in trouble with my reservation. I recommend that you have a chat page on your site. So we could tell details of our troubles and easy to understand, especially for the first experience.

Easy setup to rent and Turo helps pick out all star providers that help choose which providers to use. Very satisfied and will plan on renting again. This was my first experience using Turo and it was a positive one! It was straightforward and clear about charges, I liked that it had you take mandatory photos upon check-in and drop off. It is also nice that you can exchange messages within the app with the cars owner if any questions or problems arise.

Turo is great! It's a cheaper way of finding a car to rent rather than going through larger car rental companies. Pick up and drop off was easy. I rented a car for over a week that cost almost half of what I would pay at a big company. My host was super nice and helped me along the way as it was my first time! I highly recommend Turo.

My experience overall could not have went better. I found a great car at a great price and had an awesome time. Turo was very easy to use. My only slight issue I suppose was that it didn't show me all of the cars in my area at first. After I chose a vehicle it showed me "other vehicles I might be interested in" and I actually probably would have chosen one of those if I was given the chance.

I was a bit hesitant to use this but once I saw how simple it was, I went ahead and rented a Slingshot from this site. Bear in mind, my first rental turned sour because of the renter not responding. So I contacted Turo, they went ahead and tried to contact the renter with no luck. They immediately set me up with another Slingshot renter. That turned out so smoothly and I was able to enjoy the slingshot on time for a group ride. I was very pleased with their services and I will be using them again for renting a camaro! One thing I would like to suggest to add is a "What are you searching for? i.e. Camaro, Porsche, Slingshot...." on their website. That would help me narrow down my search more. But great website!!! Very well coordinated and met my satisfaction by far!

At first my experience was terrible because I booked a car that was listed under “instant booking”. After a 50 min ride there, he canceled because he told me that he did not approve it. So I could not use his car and told me I had to find my own way to cancel it. He was very rude and inconsiderate of the time and gas it took to get there. My experience then turned around when a Representative from Turo was able to book me another car, although it sucked that I had to drive another 50 minutes. But they booked Pablo’s car and Pablo was excellent and even waited for me to come although the booking was last minute.

I was nervous to use this service at first because we’re all so accustomed to the more well-known car rental services but Turo offered to meet me at the airport and was half as expensive as the other rental services, including additional insurance! I wish the app/website was a little more clear and upfront about what to do and how to do it. I didn’t realize the app automatically entered the home address of the vehicle owner and not the airport for the pick up and drop off. Luckily, he was super understanding and didn’t seem annoyed with helping me along the way.

Needed a car to use for trip to Maine the next day and other options of rentals were either closed for the next day or simply far and out of reach. Most cars I've rented on Turo are great. Some have been terrible. When I find a bad car Turo is very responsive in correcting the issue. Find a renter you trust and that will be a good relationship if you treat their cars well. I'll keep renting for sure.

The app wasn't as clear as I would've like when trying to return the vehicle early. It wasn't easy to update arrival or allow me to end the trip early so that I could take final pictures, etc. Even though it was established with the Host during pick up(that I would be back early), the arrival time in the app (6:30 pm) was still past drop off (1 pm) and trying to change that myself looked like it would result in a charge (for less usage). I would've preferred an option to "End My Trip" early since I dropped off early, which would've helped prompt the final trip photos, etc. which it had not done for me until later.

I for sure was very skeptical about it at first because it was my first time using this app. But this app is LEGIT. It is so easy to find a car and communicate with the people and the rates are very reasonable as well. Also, you CAN use your own current insurance, you don't have to get insurance through the app. Overall, a great experience and would definitely use this app again in the future.

I had read the negative reviews, specifically alluding to money-hungry/shady owners and Turo having little to no resolve for customer service. I should have listened. I have been trying to resolve a dispute for damage claimed after the 24 hr period within their policy, and I have yet to receive a call from a representative and have been ignored after setting up calls and responding to correspondences twice. BEWARE! Do not utilize this company unless necessary.

I rented Danielle’s Jeep!!! We drove to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a Fabulous! Danielle is very responsive and very personable! Her Jeep is in great working condition and very reliable!! I highly recommend taking the top off in the mountains from the most breathtaking views!

I love the ability to rent interesting cars from owners. I would prefer more options for searching and saving searches, and have receive updated search results for a saved search, so I do not need to keep running the same search. I would also like universal guidance in the terms of use, for example, I return the car in the same condition as rented, but does that include a light dusting of pollen or something similar? The most important improvement is the ability to message an owner before the rental to ask specific questions before making the rental decision.
