Car, I got on Turo was OK to drive and not as good as rental cars but it is way inexpensive. So it's worth taking cars from Turo. Apart from that my personal GEICO insurance did not work with TURO and I had to buy insurance from Liberty mutual. But still it was a good deal. I will try TURO again.

My host communicated effectively and the entire process went off without any issues on his end. One thing I do wish were a little easier is taking photos and uploading them to the app. I was in an area that didn't get great reception so taking the selfie with my ID and uploading it to the app was a little hard. I returned the car at night so me taking photos in the dark wasn't that easy because it was dark and 2 people saw me taking photos of the car and started asking me questions. I thought they were going to call the police on me (with me being a ** person in a gentrified area) so I hurried through it so they would leave me alone and I could leave. There was no damage to the car or anything but having to rush through it made me a little paranoid that I may not have taken good enough photos and captured everything in the event something happened after the drop off.

I don’t usually have a need to rent a car unless I’m traveling but I’ve used Turo once on vacation and when I relocated to a new state and it’s been a 5 star experience all around. I’ve never had a blip in the road. Car delivery and pick up has always been timely, the selection is wide, and I’ve never gotten any hidden fees. Traditional renting services will never have my business as long as it’s this easy on Turo.

When it came to support before even being able to rent a car, Turo Support was among the worst I have ever received. I spent 10 hours one day going through at least 7 Turo support agents, whose primary fixation was to end the call. On another day, I started over until I finally got approved to even rent. And I am an All Star Host, who has been renting out vehicles on Turo for 8 months. As far as the rental itself, it was fine. I found a car nearby, after all the account trouble was fixed, who had a car that I could afford, and it was an easy transaction - no negative surprises. And I met a hosting comrade who lives 2 miles from me. At least I won't have to through the nightmare of getting approved to drive again. Part of the reason my selection of rental cars was very limited was because Turo support took so long to resolve my account issues that several days had already passed. It was only due to my dogged persistence that it was ever resolved.

The car was great and was exactly as described! Rob was prompt and friendly to deal with the entire time and I would highly recommend this vehicle to anybody. Made the whole process really easy and comfortable for all of us.

When I needed a car in a pinch, I'd given myself two rental options: (1) Enterprise, Hertz, etc. (2) TURO. I like the idea of car sharing, so I went with the latter. The website is user friendly, allowing me to locate a ride at my price point. There are also reviews, which brought me peace of mind when selecting. After picking up my ride, I received email notifications as to whether I wanted to extend my trip and how much time I had left before returning the car. When I did return the car, the owner was professional, kind (asked if I had a ride home) and compassionate (he wasn't upset when I arrived 5-10 minutes late). All in all, a pleasant experience. Will I do it again? If the price is right, without hesitation.

I have already recommended Turo to a friend! This experience was pleasant, cost-efficient, and effective! Originally, I was concerned with how Turo would compare to renting a car from an agency but I was very happy with this service.

I love Turo. Everyone I have dealt with has been professional. I am glad Turo offers different levels of insurance protection. Will continue to do business with you guys because of the excellent resource for other people's vehicles. Allows me to check out other brands before purchasing.

The car owner was 100% awesome but I was gouged by Turo when I needed an extra day! I think I’ll stick with traditional rental car companies from now on! There is no easy to contact customer support within the app! Very unhappy customer!

It worked out for me really happy to use Turo. Have had trouble getting a car to visit family in Canada but they did try to help me and now have me a bonus trip free. In Laredo Texas. Do I would like to say it great. Like a giant co-op for cars. Yes there will be hiccups and stuff. But it's been good I just wish hosts in Oregon would be More helpful too for me.

I signed up hoping to see what I could rent my vehicles for. I have a tesla Model 3 a ford hybrid and a caravan. Decent vehicles. However, the default in the settings is to accept drivers and then you get a text saying they booked it Hit Y for yes and N for no. I sent the N in because I wasn't sure about this whole thing yet. Andy from Turo emailed and said if I cancel that I can be charged $25 for this. I told him politely that I wasn't aware of that and canceled my account. He then obviously got a bit miffed and told me that since I canceled my account that I would be charged the fee, even though I declined in the text message that obviously didn't check.

Every time I have used Turo to rent a car, the Turo company has exceeded my expectations in providing an excellent experience. I did not have any questions or concerns about my most recent rental. The car selection in Hawaii is not as great as other states, but this is expected due to limited cars on island.

The people I had great experience with that gives great customer service from beginning of trip to the end. Ms. ** - her Grand corvette, BMW I8. Ivipp ** - his Maserati Ghibli. Jonathan - his BMW I8. You guys need to rate 10 stars instead of 5 stars. I will continue do business with these 3 people here...

Good services and reasonable fees. No hidden charge, no headaches and one pays the money to the real people who needs extra bucks to make end needs meet and willing to work for that. That is super nice and thank you Turo. I will use your services again in future.

I used to always use Turo, back when it was still relay rides. Service was always great. This time I had a bad experience as I picked up an unwashed car, which I didn’t complain about but 2 days after returning the I receive a bill to wash the car due to a bird pooping on the car as I drove down the street. If natural dirt isn’t part of the car rental it’s unfair to the customer. I will upload the pics and in the second pic you can see see where a bird pooped. It is very small.

I was able to get a rental within 4 hours of my request from the airport as needed. My flight landed on time but delayed on tarmac and Patrick was unable to wait but still able take it happen. Patrick was a great rental.

The app and the whole rental experience were great, smooth and clear. The only thing I was missing in the app is to see that the trip was closed out by the host. It seems to be just hanging out there, without confirmation after I closed the trip out myself.

For this type of business, it needs a strong mediator between parts that takes the time to listen and analyse and, the most important, to not allows illegalities happens on its platform. This is exactly the opposite of TURO. Everything is allowed there and TURO doesn’t care who is right or not as long as it has access to money; and they always have because you need a credit card to make an account.

I rented a Tesla using this service, and it couldn’t have been any easier. Far easier than getting a rental car through a rental agency. Would definitely rent from again. They have an excellent selection of luxury cars to choose from.

I picked up my car and had no problems there except that I had to pay an unexpected $25 to get the car out of the short term parking lot. I submitted that expense to be reimbursed and never heard back from the company. Then once I returned the car I received a notification that I was about to be charged an extra hundred for gas and other expenses. I messaged the driver and he said to decline it and that that shouldn’t have gone to me. Since my trip ended it's been five days and I still have no response from customer service. I have no problem with the driver or car but the service is horrible.

Happy with service. I will recommend a friend but if they have two slingshot to rent at the same time we will be happy we can rent for the weekend at least 2 or 3 Jose workers or brother-in-law. Thank you again..

Very accommodating, much more quick and painless than going to a huge car rental place. Cars are very well taken care of. Host are very friendly and will work with you on most anything, once you're approved it's instant rentals for most of the host. Can't say enough good things about it! Definitely will use again!

First time using Turo, and it was a seamless and quick process. The host was very friendly and professional. The app was easy to navigate and gave my current updates via text. I would highly recommend to my friends and business partners.

Turo Chevy Tahoe Rental. Alex was great with providing us a great vehicle to drive around LA in. Very professional and helpful, communication was excellent, whenever we had a question or concern he was available immediately to help with any issue we had. Wonderful service. I rented a Honda Accord in Rockville, MD from a guy via Turo. The car was beat-up and dirty. It was old and had a lot of mileage. I was having trouble with my credit card so this was the easiest thing to do. I paid about twice what I would have paid at Enterprise but I was desperate to get mobile. When I complained to Turo they said they would replace the car but they did nothing. I waited for days and they never got back to me. At the end of the "rental" the guy who owned the car tried to stick me for a 50 buck cleaning bill which I told Turo I would not pay. I also told them I would never use Turo again and they didn't charge me the extra 50$. It was clear this was a dirty deal with a dirty company when I looked at the registration of the car and found out it belonged to a company that only owned the car for rental purposes; there was no private owner listed. Never again.

This was my first experience and would definitely try this again the next time I need a rental vehicle. Of course, the experience likely depends upon who you're renting from, but in my case, the owner of the van was very friendly and cooperative.

Thanks Turo!! We are looking to buy a Jeep, and found the perfect one to rent thru Turo. Everything was easy peasy! A few clicks and we had a Jeep! Now we’re going to buy one for Christmas! If we ever need another rental, we will definitely use Turo.

NO STARS - To set up an account you have to send your license, a picture with your license, and a picture of your credit card. After doing this I was denied the account with no explanation. I contacted support as I have nothing on my record. Absolutely nothing, I have good credit, and major credit cards. Support is only chat. No live agent? My insurance even covers me in rental cars, company cars, etc. I live by the airport in Winter Park and my car is being serviced. I just need the rental for possibly 5 days or less. I was trying to avoid driving outside my area to avoid the airport.

Unfortunately, the car smelled very badly of cigarettes, the check engine light was on and there was no gas. I understand that some of this is the responsibility of the prior renter; however, the owner was slow to communicate via the application messenger and, although he apologized for not getting to see the car before I picked it up, it was still very frustrating.

App was accurate and efficient. Rental worked out perfectly. Communication worked out nicely and the process to review the vehicle was thorough along with satisfying insurance coverage. Would definitely recommend to friends and still be using this service again in the future.

I love Turo. It save me so much money. It make renting a car so easy and I would do it again with no problem. The people are easy to work with. I can't wait to save money again. I would let anyone know that needs to rent a car use Turo.

So at first I thought I was getting a deal for my trip. Once my trip was over, I was then billed by my host for a total of $134.00! I never expected additional fees other than the miles I went over. I was charged for gas, a cleaning and service fee, as well an inconvenience charge. So instead of my trip being $93, it was more a total of about $230. That is a major price difference.

I had a great experience. The Toyota Prius drove very well and I got 45 miles to the gallon. I will definitely rent again from the same owner. He picked me up outside the terminal and I drop him off a few miles away. Met him at the same spot on my return and he dropped me at my gate.

Turo is a great app and has many great cars to rent. But the mileage for those that live far from the city should at least be increase to 200 miles and 0.99 for anything that exceeds instead of 100 miles. Where I live all the luxury vehicle are based in the city. Other than that, the cars are great and each time I‘ve used Turo I’ve been happy.

The communication with the owner was great, timely drop off, made sure I knew where the car was and gave great instructions. I also love he had patience and kindness in his voice always..my experience with Turo was the best and I will book with them again.

Turo has unbeatable customer service and grade A hosts. I started off so disappointed, and within a few hours Turo corrected things that no other company would ever care about. I love Turo. My host was fantastic also! And my vehicle was top of the line. I can't believe I haven't heard about turo sooner.

Car was in nice shape, pick up and rental were easy, return was easy. Only thing I would have changed was that I wished car could have been dropped off, and rented at airport, rather than getting picked up and driving 20 minutes to rent the car.

The Black Dodge Charger was awesome. Very comfortable & easy to manage. My oldest son loved it so much he wants me to buy him one for graduation. That's how great we enjoyed ourselves. If I need to choose another I will choose your services for the remainder of the year and 2020.

I will never use Turo again. I used it because the cost was lower than a traditional rental car. When I returned the car I was told there was a small crack on the windshield. I can’t prove this didn’t happen while I was driving it although I am not aware of it happening. I have had small cracks in my own windshield and figured no big deal. I will pay the $50 and take it on good faith that it was my fault. I’ve just received an invoice from Turo for $250 to fix the crack. You have to be kidding me. The bill says the part is $8 but the labor and a $75 processing charge that comes from Turo with NO justification make up the rest of the cost. I will never use this company again. It could be fine if you don’t have something like this come up but I’d rather pay more for a regular rental and avoid this nightmare.

We had a fun car and had a great time with it. Had a very hard time finding the car. Didn't realize it was in a culdesac. Then when we found the cars, we couldn't find the car with the plate number it was suppose to have. So glad when I called they came right over and helped me. Felt bad calling. Had a very stressful day flying and then trying to find a car. The guys were very helpful. First time doing this on Turo. My brother did Turo and he said it was so easy picking up. Maybe next time it will be for us also.

To be honest, this was an amazing experience. From the UI/UX of the app, to the validation of the drivers + hosts, to the overall cost, the overall variety of hosts/cars to choose from. It's a no brainer to ditch the typical enterprise (no pun intended) car rentals with all their hidden fees and gimmicks. Everything honestly felt a lot safer and easier to manage and change if I needed to. I hate to use the same ole analogy, but it's what uber & airbnb did to car rental. The future is now and I'm never going to go back to a typical rental. Amazing everything.

I loved I could save money. I loved the car was parked and waiting on me. The junky difficulties I had was getting car back in the right spot for the next driver in a town I was I familiar with. Thought I’d miss my flight! But it was fine and worked out. Plan on using Turo again.

Turo is a great option for renters, but the company seems to favor them. We've been renting out for 3 months now and have had many issues with a claim (a Turo driver crashed our car). Also, the app has had tech problems where we could not change the calendar. And - when customer service decided to upgrade our insurance to premium and charge us 20% per ride, we complained (because we never changed it) and have yet to be reimbursed for the extra charges.

Celeste at Fun Cars is a fun person herself! It was a wonderful weekend with her help! The Miata was a blast to ride in. Great to try out something you have been daydreaming about owning. It was like a stay-cation!

We had a bad first experience with Turo as we rented a car that needed service and an owner that just wanted us to ignore both the check engine and low brake fluid lights, a beeping that went off whenever we accelerated, and eventually a dead battery. Thankfully we rented another car, with the help of your service department, that exceeded our expectations. We will use you again.

The process of renting and receiving the vehicle was very easy and no glitches! The owner of the vehicle met me curbside at the airport, handed off the keys to me and met me as I return to the airport at the curb. I handed the keys back and it was a simple process!

Picking up the car went w/o errors. Very easy, as was the drop off, though I found it odd no one looked over the car w/me or had me fill out any paperwork. The issue came upon daylight & storms when I found the tires were bald as well as a windshield wiper not in working order both putting my family at risk. Had I used a rental agency the quality of the car definitely would have been better.

This guy and this company are going to be out of business within 5 years. I checked the Better Business Bureau...so many complaints! We rented the car for 4 days and was told we needed to pay 25.75 for cleaning even though we returned it washed and vacuumed. Renters are not responsible for washing the car of normal wear and tear but we did anyway. The bottom back of the car had exhaust residue which we missed (but not responsible for anyway). When we vacuumed it we found a receipt from 3 weeks prior and a french fry from previous people which proves we did an excellent job.

My first time experience with Turo was phenomenal and a really unbelievable experience. I know the overall experience depends on the host but the app experience was a home run too. I may never use another legacy rental agency again.

I will definitely recommend Turo to others. Terminal drop off and return were my main reasons for choosing Turo however, the hosts were professional, punctual, and exceeded my expectations. I drove a luxury vehicle for less than a 'standard budget rental'. I saved $ and time.

The pick up was easy and simple. The trip was great and the return was easy as well, although the experience was great I did experience the transmission was lacking power. I’m not sure what the cause is but the car was great and clean.

This was an A+ rental service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent a great vehicle when in the Phoenix area. The customer service is unbelievable and they go out of their way to make sure you get exactly what you need.

I was excited to get a deal on a rental car when I reserved a using Turo. I was going for a practical, inexpensive ride for my vacation. I picked up the rental without problems. I drove off the lot, and then the tire pressure sensor light went off. I messaged the owner and they replied that I could take it to a Discount tire center the following day. I was not staying in the same city as where I picked up the car and no discount tires were open when I got the car. I had to fill up the tires the following morning and on two other occasions during my trip.

I have emailed customer service once asking for a refund or even a partial refund. I paid extra to have the car delivered to the airport, the car was not there when I arrived and the host would not answer my messages. He finally called me and I had to get a Uber to his house even though I paid extra for delivery. When I got there the car I rented was not there but he had a extra. The car was dirty and had multiple maintenance lights on the dash. I didn't start my trip till 2 hours after my scheduled time. When I went to return the car he told me not to take it to the airport instead come back to his house and he would take us (not what I paid for). I tried calling and messaging him multiple times when I dropped the car off but he would not respond so I ended up having to pay for a second uber back to the airport. Then after I left him a 1 star review he started calling me, harassing me.

Very easy to deal with, nice car to drive around with plenty of space, fast pickup and drop off time. Thanks again! Would definitely consider using this service again in the future when visiting Boston or any other place.

It was very easy to book the car and communicate with the owner. The car was in good condition. Returning the car was a little less clear. This was my first time and instructions were not clear. Also, the requirement to take a lot of photos at the end was onerous. Superior value to rental car companies.

Subaru Rental was awesome. Courtney was great and the process from front to back was seamless. This is the future of car rental. It saved us a ton of time and energy from the car being dropped off all the way to the car being picked up. What a huge way to avoid hassle and get the exact car you are looking for.

Compared to other apps like Getaround, Zipcar and Car2go, Turo can allow me to join in quickly and rent a car. Getaround does not allow non-American people who are under 25. Even though I have license and international license and do not have accident records ever, I cannot use the app. However Turo lets me drive a car. Besides, Turo's process to sign up and apply for a license was so proficient and fast that I can use the app very quickly. It is my first time to comment on any apps. Turo is really amazing and I am recommending this awesome app to my friends. I hope Turo service can run their business in other countries too. Anyway, thanks a lot to your service!

Holly was a pleasure to meet. Her car was just an awesome experience to drive. I love the process to the app. I love the security in the process as well as the communication in order to properly return the vehicle to the owner. The whole process was very very nice. I enjoyed it and I will definitely be using your services again.

Worst customer service ever. Ran into an accident where I was clearly not at fault (vouched by the host as well). Tried to get into a call but was only left with the choice of emailing. Very unresponsive emails and zero updates after deducting $500 deposit from my bank while the case was ongoing investigations. Throughout the whole process, there were few or no updates. 4 months later, I saw a deduction of CAD2,000 from my bank account with no explanation why BEFORE deduction. Extremely disappointed with the claims department and agents (who kept pushing me to different parties and different agents). Unprofessional.

Dan's Turo/BMW X5. Dan's car was awesome - it was clean, spacious, and a great easy drive. Everyone and all of our bags had plenty of room. The best part of this experience was working with Dan. He was super accommodating and made picking up and dropping off the car super easy. He was awesome and I would rent this car again. Thanks Dan!

It was our first time using Turo. The whole experience was smooth and went better than we could hope. We didn’t have to wait in lines and knew exactly what we were getting before we even left. The vehicle was awesome and the owner was great during the experience.

I think Turo is an excellent alternative to traditional car rental agencies. Our host, Allison was very accommodating and provided us with a hassle free experience by meeting and dropping off at Minneapolis airport. It is considerably less expensive and easy to use Turo.

The address to pick up the truck was nonexistent, tried to contact the Host and Turu and could not talk to anyone. I was forced to rent with U-Haul. I expect a full refund. You should have more customer service reps to address timely.

Great car... will definitely use again to try out new cars prior to purchasing a new car. The selection of cars is awesome. Check in and check in is so easy. I highly recommend this service. Raz was awesome... kind and caring and attentive.

Host was professional, courteous and timely. Made it all very easy to do transaction. Vehicle was in excellent condition and A blast to drive. Was curious about potential he buying a vehicle like this next spring and this experience help me get a better feel for potentially doing that. This was the second time using Turo and have had nothing but positive things to say on both experiences. Service is a great alternative to traditional rental.

The vehicle was ok except for the fact the car was filthy on the inside. The host acted as if he had no idea which I find highly unlikely considering how dirty it was. The host offered a measly 5% refund for the inconvenience. I was in town for business and the vehicle interior was embarrassing.

Everything was great. Close to my area. Great car. The host was great. We kept in contact on my trip back to his home. The rental was roomy. Great gas mileage. I will rent again from Josh. This was my second time renting from Turo. The process was easy. I will recommend this app to my friends.

My car was in the shop and it wasn’t ready on time. I needed a rental but due to my busy schedule didn’t get to a local rental place before they closed and didn’t feels like going all the way to airport. That’s when I remember Turo, so at 10pm on a Sunday night I searched for a vehicle to be delivered to my driveway by 7:30am. Not only it worked great but I had a great car for a reasonable price. Two days later my car was ready and they picked up the rental from my driveway. Super easy.

The app works well when it works, however, there are a number of small glitches that are annoying. For example, it's currently 3:34 pm where I am. When I open the app, it lets me enter 4:30 pm as the requested start time when I try to book a trip, but then shows no vehicles available for 4:30 pm, because you can't book cars with less than 1 hour notice. Additionally, it's very difficult to get in touch with anyone at Turo claims or anyone at Turo Support who knows what they're doing.

Very nice car... enjoyed driving the car. Perfect fall weekend to convert to convertible. I will positively rent this car again or others. Only wish there would be more rental cars available closer to my location. Looking forward to using this site again in near future.

Easy pick up and delivery. Had great time in island. Great communication and accessibility from car owner. I would do it again. I was told where car was and how to get keys and off we were. Same when we returned. Car ran great and was great on gas.

This red speeder runs like a roadrunner. Take off like no one's business. Down shifted couple of times to feel the power it beholds, especially driving down a long stretched lonely highway. I got so much joy driving this red boxster.

Bon was communicative and friendly. Car functioned as expected and everything was well. Not sure where I thought I had saw that it was due back at 3pm, but had that in my mind and then when looking back at the app saw 2pm - Sorry to Bon for getting it back a little late, but thanks for being understanding. Otherwise everything went well.

A girlfriend and I went on a two week magical vacation to the beautiful islands of O'ahu and Kaua'i. This was the first time I had used Turo and so glad I did. The communication with my host was in a timely manner and from payment, pickup to drop off was seamless. I highly recommend using Turo. We had a Camaro Convertible the entire two weeks and used it everyday. Definitely the way to travel on the island!

I love Turo, it was easy and affordable to book an SUV. I was delivered the SUV in the condition I was expecting. My host was great and super accommodating. The entire process was seamless. I would recommend Turo to anyone looking for an affordable and easy way to rent.

Rented a Tesla for 5 days from SFO to Monterey for a family vacation and to a friend’s wedding. The rental process was Flawless from finding the car on the app to picking it up at the Turo lot at SFO after flying in from JFK. I’ll definitely be using Turo from now on. It really beat a traditional rents car company and I got a car I always wanted to try driving. The car was new and spotless and fast. Had a really great trip in large part to Turo! Thanks!!

The rental vehicle was perfect for our needs. Dane was a great host and worked with us in every aspect of the rental. Communication was great as he guided through the process and his responses were timely. He worked with us in dropping off the van at the Tampa Bay airport area and picking it up at our hotel. The van was very clean.

Had a pleasant experience up until renter submitted a damage claim against me. There was a scratch on the hubcap and when I asked the claimant about this, he said, "You don’t have to worry, it’s covered by insurance.“ I told him, I have to pay a $500 deductible and he said, “oh I didn’t know that.”

I have rented cars from four hosts in the past year. Each experience was perfect. Renting through Turo is convenient and the hosts have been great. I appreciate the opportunities to rent cars that satisfy, as opposed to the typical vehicles Offered by traditional car rental companies.

Not only was the car great, the host was better. She sat down with us for 10 min and gave us a crash course in "Tesla". She was amazing! Pick up was super easy and she helped us get to the airport for drop off.

I had a great time and got to rent a vehicle I wouldn’t normally be able to afford. It was a Corvette for the weekend. It was a nice ride and the host was easy to work with. However upon returning the vehicle I got hit with charges I was not counting on which was irritating. Such as tolls I didn’t use. Over mileage which wasn’t right and cleaning fees even though I had cleaned the vehicle the day before to be nice. Overall a cool experience but I’d plan on spending more than quoted if I do it again.

Turo is great for my family, prefer it over the regular rental car process. They should bring back the promo codes though.. was disappointed to find out NONE of them work. Even the ones that owners are giving customers. However we have had nothing but good luck since using this app. It’s like Air Bnb for cars!! We respect the owners car like it were our own!!

I had a great host and that's the key factor if my experience. Turbo needs to works with hosts regarding too costly delivery fee, that was not the situation with my host, but many cars I wanted to rent before had ridiculous delivery fee, some hosts are too greedy and don't really what their vehicles are worth.

It was a wonderful experience renting a car. It was easy. The owner was very accommodating and it was a pleasure. I will and am renting another car. I could pick it easily. Communicating with the owner was easy. He was always receptive.

With all apps you know the companies intentions are to make life easier but not always the provider. Turo has a great interface and concept. I wish more screening had been done for those renting their vehicles, and probably more for the renters.

The car we originally contracted for wasn't available but our host quickly filled the gap with an equally sufficient ride. Wasn't clear on pick up or drop off protocols but our host helped out with that info. We would definitely use TURO and our host, Bao, again. So much nicer than renting a car at the airport and no hidden fees/charges.

I was expecting to get the car at 10:00 am exactly the time I selected. However, I didn't get the car until 11:30 am. It was disappointing and an inconvenience. Then when I finally got the car I was bombarded with texts from the host checking on her car while I'm trying to enjoy a little vacation.

The gentleman I dealt with was great to deal with and quick to reply when contacted. The site was a little difficult to navigate and messages didn't auto update, but overall, especially with this being my 1st experience, everything went great and I would definitely check out Turo again for any car rental needs I have.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! This must be the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. A lugnut snapped off while I was changing a flat tire on a rental. I was more than happy to pay for a replacement. I received a bill one month later for $2,000 with no notice or explanation from one of their agents. I immediately replied twice within 24 hours attempting to dispute this claim. I was instead ignored for OVER A MONTH, as no one from their company ever replied to me. INSTEAD, one month later they charged my account for the full price with no notice again. I was immediately frustrated and furious and tried to contact their customer support. I was told a manager would get in touch with me as soon as possible.

It was great and Sidi was great and very courteous and I will be renting from Turo again. And everything worked out according to plan, and in a timely way, thanks again Turo. After renting from you guys I think I will be renting from Turo from this day forward, another way to meet and talk to nice people, I really like the way their setup is, it was great too.

Just wish I had been told directions before I had to call you guys and wait on hold for a while for the rental to get a hold of me and let me know where the keys were. I knocked on the door of the address given and the person who answered was someone renting from like air BnB.

The car was great, and the service was excellent. We thought we were going to have a remote open option at a parked car, but instead the owner met us right at the airport terminal! Super convenient! The car was clean, and the gas mileage was amazing—we only filled up once during the whole week. Plus, no surprise charges, no grumpy field service agents, and no dragging our whole family to a rental company. We'll definitely be doing this again soon.

This was my first time. My host Jeramy could not have been any better to deal with. Great communication nice vehicle and was very flexible. My truck was in the shop and I didn’t know when I would get it back. I was able to add one day at a time as needed which equaled 2 total days with no problem. Jeramy made it extremely easy. Even helped me use the app.

I have used Turo several times for car rentals and things were fine until the last time when I rented a car with them. I was incapacitated for about a month and unable to defend myself when Turo without explanation of what events took place, voided the Liberty Mutual insurance coverage I purchased (yes I still had to pay for it) and debited my account over $3,000 without my permission! Since then, the company has provided no details as to how they justify this and will not even give me information as to which department I can contest the charges. Turo has literally left me broke and homeless once I emerged from my incapacitation. They are predators and took advantage of me and show no remorse and even have tried to cover their backs by changing certain authorizations that were in effect at the time of the rental to look like they weren’t approved. Beware of this company!

The checking in/out process was very easy and the lot was very well thought out. Tyler’s Miata was an absolute blast to drive around Southern California, and very well maintained. I would highly recommend Tyler and Turo to anyone looking for a rental car.

I feel my first time with Turo is probably my last time. It was a nightmare. We arrived to our vehicle and the back tire was flat, front tire was low, car was covered in sand (#notclean), dents, drivers door was duct taped together, and the coolant light was on so the car loudly beeped every few minutes to warn us that our car may over heat. Oh, and after we used the defrost it smelt like burnt rubber and smoke started coming through the vents. I felt like we hired a death trap, and once you account for the extra fees, it’s a similar price to just going through an established business.

Easy process! The communication and information available on the website was very easy to use! Very happy with my experience and can’t wait to use Turo in other cities I travel to. More affordable and easier than a traditional rental car company!

Using Turo to rent a convertible on our stay in San Diego was very easy and convenient. Glennford was very responsive and his car is a really nice ride. It allowed us to explore other areas in the San Diego area that we had not been or seen before. I would definitely use Turo again to rent a vehicle.

I used Turo before very happy. This time was also through a second party. The car shown was gold and the one I got was black! Also took Carl’s vans an hour to pick us up at the airport. The car was vacuumed but not wiped down and the seats had dirt marks all over them! The team at Carl’s van were very nice but the car could have been better cleaned! I bought an air freshener for the car.

Team helped me find car for me with certain specifications and coordinated with the car owner to get a quick confirmation. Very satisfied with the service and professionalism of the support personnel. Will highly recommend to everyone. There were couple of instance where owners cancelled in the last minute but the customer service help find car quickly.

The Turo app helped me quickly locate a desireable car at my destination and made the reservation easy. The host responded in a enthusiastic manner almost immediately. The car was awaiting me in a airport parking lot and was remotely unlocked by contacting the host via the ap. The app also made documenting car condition easy. The car ran flawlessly and had a few installed accessories (like Apple CarPlay) that enhanced the trip. The return process was equally efficient. The Turo app expedited the process of finding a car not normally rented by large corporations and the host made the experience easy and pleasurable in all respects.

The experience renting the car was fantastic, and the person I interacted with did a great job. That said, the Android app was extremely buggy - it sent multiple messages several times, failed to post my pictures and lost them, constantly timed out and failed to load, and was just overall full of issues.

Great first experience. Our host was courteous, prompt, and provided great instructions & communication. Could have used a little more guidance during the pick-up & return process. This could be my own lack of familiarity. So much info & guidance was coming from the host that I neglected some of the workflow within the Turo app. Didn't deter from the experience at all though.

Great way to rent a car at Dallas Fort Worth airport. Turo does not have all those additional fees that the regular car rentals have. Very easy access for pick up and drop off. Shuttle takes you directly from airport to the car rental center and the car was parked right in front of the car rental center. Drop off is the same in reverse order.

It was my understanding that the $400 that I spend included the 300 miles that the car came charged with as on the app had stated "If you exceed 300 miles total, you'll be charged $1.00 for each additional mile." And I only used 200 miles with still 100 miles on the Tesla. I do not understand why the owner is requesting $20??

I was under the impression that car would be at Denver airport but it was actually a $60 Uber away. That’s right, $120 on top of Turo fee bc owner had too many Turo rentals going out at the same time. When I asked upon returning if I could drop at the airport at midnight he said yes, then told me later on the day I’m returning car that no actually he needs it at his house because he’s rented it to someone else the next morning at 8:30AM.

First time using Turo. Had a wonderful experience. Marcelo was prompt and very nice. We were picked up at the Airport and dropped off at the airport. Made our trip very nice. I forgot my phone in the car and Marcelo was wonderful, sent it to me UPS which I reimbursed him for. Wow, that is five star service! Will definitely use Turo again!

The car was super clean and well maintained. It was surprisingly good on gas and I liked the fact that I didn't have to endure a dealership like transaction. The price for the rental was amazing, especially for a person like me that only has liability on their own vehicle. Turo provides insurance as well and at a great price! Will definitely use again on my next trip!!

Pickup/Dropoff was super easy, cost-effective, host was responsive and flexible, the app is easy to work and check-in and out, it would've been nice to know some details about the music situation, such as aux chord, bluetooth, etc.

When renting a vehicle - I’ve been thru it all! Outrageous deposits, bringing the wrong credit card to check the car out - in ANOTHER STATE, and renting a car through Uber which was a complete waste! Legit the only trusted way to ensure a quality car rental with the LEAST amount of hassle! A lot of times the people renting the cars are SUPER chill as well! Absolutely LOVE this app and honestly, I’m never turning back!

My experience was very unpleasant with Turo. All the way from booking the car to having a exaggerated claim against me. I first tried to book a car with Turo but the owner canceled within an hour of booking and Turo did not compensate me for it and I was left careless in a state that was my first time visiting.

The only complaint is the app froze or malfunctioned during my search a few times. I booked completely through my phone, and the app platform seems more difficult than using the website on a computer. Other than that it was great.

Everything went smoothly. Found a car I wanted to rent online, booked it, was contacted by the owner, picked up car, drove it around, dropped it off again for the owner, done! But of course, things are always best when things go well, the true rating of a company should be based on how they deal with issues and flows outside the expected case (and how often they occur). Great first impression and experience though. One thing is that I registered with my Canadian driver's license and have recently received my California driver's license. I don't see any way I can upload my new license. It wasn't a problem for me, but I expected the option to be there.

What a wonderful process! The transaction was smooth and the vehicle was superb. I will be looking into this app much more frequently as I travel the country. The person I did business with was very professional. I was in a state for the very first time and was pleased with the process. At first it felt like it would be a hassle but as I got it going it turned out to be cheaper than using the bigger rental companies.

I was robbed and my purse was stolen which included my wallet with DL, passport card, debit credit cards, AirPods, AND the keys to the rental. I attempted to call Turo for roadside assistance for about 2 hours to no prevail before deciding to google a local locksmith company.

I was pleased with the customer service of Jeremy. He brought the car to us at the airport. He was very nice & accommodating. I was able to leave the car at the airport upon my departure which was very convenient. The car however wasn’t what I was hoping for. The rear view mirror was taped on and the check engine light was on along with constant beeping noises & dash lights blinking. He did tell me that he tried to fix the mirror and the tape was only temporary. But with the hot Florida sun, nothing was holding that mirror on. I even bought duct tape and used it but it just melted off after a while. So as for Jeremy he was great, the car was just ok.

I recently rented a car via Turo and the host assured me that I would receive UNLIMITED miles if I were to continue booking with him. I told him how far my trip was and he said ok. To show my appreciation I returned his car back with more gas and fully washed. After I completed the trip he then sent a reimbursement message via the app regarding “additional” miles I went over. NOT COOL BRO. Never dealing with this again.

Charles and Jessica were absolutely fantastic! Charles was helpful, patient, kind, and was one on one with myself and Turo for troubleshooting. The vehicle was amazing and just what I expected. Jessica was there to receive the keys on my return. She was great, made the transition easy and so much fun to chat with! Thank you both so much!

Lesson learned: View the details closely. I rented a VW Jetta but did not realize that it was a 10 year old, high mileage car. It looked and drove like an old car. The drop off location was very Sketchy, on the end of a dirt road, at a old house surrounded by cars in all kinds of repair.

Renting her car was great, she was wonderful. The car was clean in and out, she let me change my time with no problem. She was very friendly, nice and polite. I will definitely go to her again to rent from her. She was excellent.

This was our first experience renting with Turo. Pros: Selection of vehicle, communication with Turo owner, ease of pick up and drop off, ease of making changes to the trip. Cons: Over mileage charge where most car rentals have unlimited miles. Requirement to wash and vacuum out vehicle, this time requirement may have negated the time savings of renting from a traditional company. The cost ended up being equivalent to a car rental company.

I had a great experience renting a Turo and will highly recommend their services, rental process and including pick up and drop are fairly easy processes and absolutely zero wait times or standing in lines saved me at least 2hours of pick up and drop off time from traditional car renter companies.

What a great way for a city girl to get away. It's impractical to own a car where I live so having the option to rent a car for the day or the weekend, especially a hybrid, without any worries is great. Already have 2 more trips booked.

Had a wonderful time in the vehicle. It was ready and clean. The only thing I don’t like is paying extra for insurance. I normally rent from Getaround and insurance is included and very easy to rent. Wouldn’t mind renting more from you guys but you kinda making it as if you are a rental car place and a bit more pricey because if I see the car for $29 dollars to rent and then at checkout it jumps almost a extra $100 to $200 dollars because I get weekly for the insurance it makes me don’t want to rent. Just be sure you know us as renters are looking for convenience not inconvenience.

I typically drive a Jeep Wrangler and the car I rented off Turo was lower than what I'm used to. I wish the owner made it aware that the car is more likely to be scratched under the front bumper when parking. (Curb, and parking stoppers will scratch the vehicle.) Personally I believe that vehicle is problematic for future drives if the same kinda scratched keep occurring. The driver made sure to take pictures of underneath the bumper too leading me to think they know this is a common problem. Looked like there was something staled on the seats.... the vehicle could have been cleaner.

But instead of telling me that, they started asking for an ever-growing amount of pictures and documents every time, and every time more ridiculous. Even now that they have more personal information about me than Google, they refuse to accept me, and even to reject me, and just keep lying to my face, saying they are "working on it" and that it is "urgent". I've had enough; nothing "urgent" takes weeks.

Booked a car Sunday. Host immediately cancelled. No word on my refund. My first rental was a 5-star experience. Next one..not so much. Not happy at all. She should not have to pay for a cancelled order. Not great experience here. Will still rent again.

I think Turo is a great platform, and it seems lots of folks have good experiences with it. I just had a very bad experience with my first rental from Justin. I chose Turo vs. standard rental companies because of a unique selection of cars available, and some hosts offer drop-off which was very convenient. I also liked the idea of the vehicle-sharing community. Which is all great, until there's a dispute.

Dylan was an amazing Host. The car was clean and smelled great. I had no issues picking up or delivering. The car drove great for a day getaway. He was very accommodating. I had a few issues and he responded in no time to help me.

P/U and drop off easy and fast. Personal in LA great, polite and knowledgeable. Car ran perfect, clean and without incident. So much more affordable than airport rental and much nicer vehicles. We rented a convertible, the only way to travel is Southern California.

My flight was delayed but the owner of the car waited for us to arrive. We also were allowed to drop the car anywhere it was free parking and just lock it up which was helpful for our flexibility needs.

I had Brian's Ford Fusion for less than a day when it started giving me issues because he did not keep it properly serviced to be driven. As soon as he gets a vehicle back he immediately rents it out again without making sure all oil and fluids are good. I had to do mechanic work on his Ford Fusion and invest my own time and money into fixing his car just so I could drive it back to him to swap it out for his Prius. He never paid me for fixing his car and I lost two days of my trip because I had to fix his car. I want to be recompensated for my time and money and effort.

Turo is hands down the best way to rent a car EVER!! I’ve done it several times. The experience has always been seamless and the cars accurate to description. I can’t ever imagine renting a car any other way! Turo is my go-to!

Turo does make renting less expensive than the big rental companies. There are some drawbacks, however. We don't find out until after we've rented the vehicle that there are some hoops to jump through. In my case, I was trying to take pictures of the car and a selfie at 1am on a back road behind a major hotel. I didn't know if a police officer might come by to question me or if some unknown person might come by with a nefarious purpose in mind. I was disappointed with the car owner's response to my issues with the vehicle and money already paid for post trip items.

First time renting through Turo. It was awesome. Was easier than dealing with rental companies! The car shows up right at your gate and I dropped it right back off at my gate. It doesn't get any easier or more convenient than that! I highly recommend!

You need to spend a few more minutes sorting through the various car options and read the fine print closely. If you have the time, you might end up with a good deal. The Turo app itself works well. Some of the individual vehicle descriptions are a little sketchy.

What a wonderful world we live in where I can rent a car for the weekend in a matter of minutes. I wasn’t unhappy with my experience, but I wasn’t too satisfied either. It all seemed just too good to be true. Order this car for the weekend in a matter of minutes and pick up at the Turo vallet station off Lincoln?! That’s awesome.

I enjoyed the vehicle and the host. The experience was fairly easy and simple as well. There were plenty of options for vehicles in the area ranging from compact cars to luxury vehicles. I would and have recommended this service to friends.

Everything was great except for Turo is seeking $40 to replace 1/4 tank of gas. I used to work for enterprise so I know car rental companies charge a premium for gas. It just seems like $40 for a 1/4 is extremely unreasonable.

The owner of the vehicle was so awesome, never had a issue with getting a response. He was very respectful, helpful any issue if any he was there. If you are going to use Turo I recommend him at a 10. If I ever need to use them again I sure will use him. Customer service is very bad. No one speaks to where you can understand them, you get the run around from a phone call to a text chat. I had that issue about four times in one day, that is basically the only issue I had and being charged by turo for things that were not true, but if you do rent I recommend my man I used for about three weeks..

It was easy, great and best of all cheap! Everything went off without a hitch - the owner of the vehicle was really nice and easy to work with, I paid online with my credit card and was able to purchase a little extra insurance, but still it was really inexpensive compared to Denver rental car prices. I would most definitely use Turo again!

Turo has changed the way I rent cars forever. You can rent most any car you can think of, including exotics. From my experience the people you rent from are very nice and accommodating and it makes me feel good to know I am helping someone make their payment rather than paying a ridiculous amount for an inferior car from the big guys. Give it a try, you will not forget it.

The car was in great condition, aside for some crumbs which I later noted to the owner. Everything else was simple and seamless.

This is the only way you can get a specific model of car/van, which those of us with special needs require. I'd recommend Turo to anyone. We used ours to transport my family (2 adults, 2 kids) plus a triplet tandem and a rental bike and camping gear for a weekend trip.

I was declined to be approved as a user of Turo, I even applied twice in past 1 year as I am a fan of Doug Demuro and his car reviews. I have decent credit and have in the past 12 months bought on credit two new German cars including a Mercedes SUV, I have no accidents in over 15 years, continuous car insurance, no criminal record but can't rent a car with Turo. Obviously something wrong here with this company and very upsetting. Disappointed with Turo.

Turo makes it possible for me not to own a car and only rent when I need. Prices are way better than renting from a regular rental company and the included (for a fee) insurance is also a much better deal than renting from a regular rental company. A cautionary note: read the reviews of car and renter before renting. Most of my Turo experiences have been great, but I have had a few not so great. Not enough to deter me from continuing to use the service.

So glad I did research and found Turo! Turo has came in hand. You don’t have to submit a deposit. You just pay for your days, fees and insurance! You can range your daily price from any amount you want, you can look at pics and find cars nearest to your location. You can book same day, or next day! Really helpful! I love it. I will always use Turo when I need IT!

I rented a nice Ford Flex from Jacob. Entire thing could not have gone more smoothly. He was helpful, affable and an asset to the Turo community. If I need to rent again, I most assuredly will. Most likely with him.

Great app. Very easy to use and the assistance you get when needed is awesome. The platform very friendly, & has full resources. There is a lot that can be learned on the app & can put someone who wants to learn how to start a business of their own.

All was good until he asked for more money!!! Just petty!!! This is what he texted me. "Sir this is from the difference of the airport delivery which you avoided choosing in our trip. If it is declined I will have to process an improper return since I only agreed to pick up at the hotel if you chose airport delivery. You ignored my request. I had no choice but to pick up the car for a good review. Improper return will be much more. I am being very generous with this request. Thank you." I called Toro about pick up and drop off, petty!!!!

The service is extremely simple. It's very convenient. I have never had any issues with any of my rentals. I have rented last minute and I have rented from Turo in advance. Either way the app is a great interface to work with! :)

The host contacted me about claimed damage to the car. The pictures taken before the ride clearly showed the damage the host was claiming. The host then filed a claim report before even contacting me. Host then admitted he damaged the car himself during a previous drive and forgot.

Was a great Experience! Chris was great!! Flawless responsiveness! Felt like family! Very flexible and accommodating!! Would definitely recommend and will be looking to enjoy another great experience with the Polaris Slingshot! The Polaris Slingshot is a fun and a one of a kind vehicle and experience!

I have used Turo too many times to count. So much easier and less expensive than a traditional rental car company with A LOT better selection of cars. I used Turo Go for the first time recently which was a little difficult in an area with weak internet signal. But it turned out fine.

Easy to use. Great detailed reviews. Great pricing. Great selection of vehicles. Easy communication on the app. I went on a business trip to Nashville Tennessee & it was seamless. I also utilized Turo with a friend last year in San Diego. He recommended me to Turo, now I recommend it to everyone.

Will not recommend Turo because my insurance does not cover Turo rentals and most likely the credit card that I used will not cover the rear-end I was in. I had no fault. The other driver had no insurance. If this was a real rental company would be able to my credit card coverage and my insurance. Unless you can help me some way I will never recommend Turo to anyone I know.

Really had a great time renting from Turo. It was a fantastic car, and pick up and drop off was a breeze. Honestly, it was easier than going to the rental car counter! Would absolutely recommend it to anyone in the future. Thanks!

Austin’s cars are maintained in excellent condition. We have rented them multiple times without any issues. He have vehicles of different sizes so we can get what we need for a particular trip from the same person. Austin is prompt with his delivery and pick up. Would recommend his vehicles to anyone.

My first experience with Turo was a positive one. My host Dimitry and Alena was wonderful. A friend of mine recommended Turo and I decided to give it a try. Dimitry and Alena came up as a super host and I went with them. I was very happy with the whole experience.

My first experience with Turo. And it was outstanding. The car was clean and performed flawlessly. The cost was far better than a commercial rental car agency. And the owner was friendly, hospitable, and eager to please. I will be using Turo for my rental cars from now on.

First time using Turo, after setting up my account and following the directions with ease, I was quickly able to find a car that was suitable for me. It was quick to book, quick communication with the owner and overall an excellent experience.

When I returned the vehicle it was on a full tank and the vehicle was clean and the person I rented the car from said it was not full and the car was not clean. I was communicating with the person the day before drop off and the day of drop off and nobody was there to meet meet to make sure the vehicle was up to standard. I couldn’t take pics because I was trying to catch my flight. And tried to charge me a cleaning and gas fee.
