    The risk is there can be unknown or unaddressed damage to a vehicle, leading to a claim YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY. Turo charged me $500 for previous damage to car. You will be charged additional fees if the owner files claim. Great opportunity to have items fixed on your car by filing a claim. BEWARE. YOU WILL PAY.

    Had a Turo cancel on me at MIDNIGHT, the night before a 8:30AM delivery. The next I scheduled, did not show up and I had to be to the airport. The third Turo came on time, but was a stick shift. Anyway, refunds on first two were processed and third was probably my fault for not noticing it was a stick. Anyway, got an Enterprise car for a week after paying for the $87 with up-charges for 3rd Turo car that was $30. No Thanks!

    Turo is a terrible company to work for. They do not care about the Host. I had 3 cars I rented through them for over a year. I had a 4.6 star rating. Then after dealing with pot smoking kids and scammers trying to get refunds in Dec. both who gave me 1 star reviews, Turo instead of backing me up, dropped me Forever from their platform. After I invested a lot of money and time. I was a great host. That's the problem with Gig companies, no protection for the worker. Same with Uber and Lyft. You have no recourse. They could warn you, help you, but that would mean extra work, time and most importantly Money. Which is what these companies are all about. Greed. If someone rented my car for 1 day, trashed it, I would make $24. Turo with their Fees and percentages would make over $70. Stay away from them. Not worth it. I stayed with them through this pandemic which dropped business in half, and this is how I was treated. I now call them Turdo.

    I liked the price of the car. Communication prior to picking up the rental was good as well. The car had a clean interior and smelled nice. Mechanically it sounded like there may have been an exhaust leak. Under acceleration was pretty loud and I'm familiar with cars so I am confident it was the exhaust or engine related. There was a creaking noise coming from the front left wheel that sounded like maybe bushing or maybe an axle boot was loose. Nothing that made me think the car was unsafe but annoying.

    Scheduled to meet at the same location the car was picked up to drop off at 3pm. The person was about 20 minutes late, they were communicating with me while I waited but since I had a flight to catch I got a little worried. Luckily we scheduled an early enough time where we weren't in danger of missing our flight. Wasn't happy with the specific person we rented from but the software and everything else went well. I'm confident if I get a different person the experience will be great.

    This is my second time using TURO and quite frankly I am beyond disgusted and aghast at how I was treated by one of your host Dakota ** of Livermore, CA. After reserving my trip well within 24 hours and having also MESSAGED him right after (which he failed to respond to) I come to the pick up area and lo and behold I not only have a hard time contacting the Host but first I am given a lame excuse that the car was not yet prepared and that the transaction was not appearing on his app. Waiting out in the cold I told the host I will give 15 minutes to sort out everything only for him to CANCEL the trip 5 minutes later claiming the car was delisted 3 days earlier (a total lie!).

    I had paid $45 dollars and a 30 minute trip to the location and in total wasted 2 hours of my precious time for a failed transaction with Turo for a total of 90 dollars wasted on Uber rides. Not only that, but the customer service said they would only reimburse me a maximum of $50 which was almost half less of the total wasted fare I used for Uber. I am beyond flabbergasted by this experience and I can only say that the Host was nothing more than racist and racially prejudiced to have his Tesla Model Y rented out to a minority. This is beyond excusable and his unprofessional and racist behavior serves to only tarnish TURO. I vow never to use this app again because of the unprofessional hosts that tarnish the company's reputation who are not only unreliable but rude to their guest drivers. UNBELIEVABLE!

    I met Benson ** via Turo app and he was a very janky host. My first time using the app on 12/20 and I booked a 2017/2018 Toyota for 7 days. When I arrived to pick up the car Benson told me he already rented it. I was given instead a 2009 Mazda car to my disappointment. Benson then told me if I need to extend it I could let him know even 1 hr before drop off. I needed to extend, but Benson said he already rented out the car before I even dropped it off. He knew I was only using Turo because my personal car broke down as I had explained to him from the beginning. He said, "Don't worry. I can have a car tomorrow ready for you."

    On Monday 12/28 he had a 2005 Honda CRV that came with issues with the door locks and no proper tag or registration. He had dealer tags on it with for sale signs on it. The car broke down on day 3 and I called Benson to let him know the car just broke down and he never offered a solution or even came to see about the car until 3 days later when the car was towed from the Florida's turnpike. He said he would give me another rental and he would refund me for the days the car broke down. Once he picked up the car from the tow he told me I owed him and he would not refund me for even one day. He is basically using Turo for his own personal rental car company where is he renting old broken down cars with no proper tags registration or insurance.

    Booked this Turo a few weeks in advance. Upon receiving the Turo the first thing I noticed was the fuel tank was less than a third full. The request from the owner was to return the vehicle with a full tank which doesn’t seem like a fair trade with what we got. After a few minutes of driving the “passenger restraint system malfunction” notification populated in the screen as well as chimes over the audio system.

    Every time the vehicle came to a stop or every 3-5 minutes or so the chime and notification would occur again. We had a 2 hour drive up the mountain so this was extremely annoying and somewhat dangerous to my passenger if the restraint system was actually malfunctioning. We notified the owner shortly after experiencing it but there was nothing he could do for us until after we returned the vehicle. Lastly, driving through the mountains and acquiring some dirt and street slush on the windshield we attempted using the washer fluid and wipers to remove it but there wasn’t any left after about 3 uses. For someone having a 5.0 rating we did not receive a “5.0” vehicle.

    I have rented cars from TURO many times as my records demonstrate and I have never had any problems until the last time. On my last reservation I was scammed and it has been impossible to contact TURO for an answer. When I arrived to pick up the car, the host told me that I had to pay for an insurance that was not included in any part of my reservation. My own insurance covers me when I rent a car. Typically, I just have to inform the insurance company in advance and give them the car information. I asked the host to provide proof that the insurance was required by law and he answered: "If you are not going to pay the insurance you can leave the office now." He was just trying to rob me. It took me an hour to get to the pick up place only to leave without the car, which ruined my plans for Christmas with my family.

    TURO send me this message: “You cancelled this trip. Your original trip cost was $60.00. Based on our cancellation policy, your refund of $30.00 was initiated on Dec 24. It typically takes 3-5 business days to show up on your payment method. Travel credit is refunded immediately. Our support team will reach out about the issue with your host”. According to TURO’s cancellation policy, I was refunded in the form of travel credit 50% of my trip. My trip wouldn’t have been cancelled if it weren’t for the host’s lack of proper customer service. I should have not been charged any amount of money and would like the entirety of my $60 refunded.

    TURO's host attempted to scam me. I would like to know what TURO is going to do about it. The person who rents the car calls herself Karina. It is actually an agency that rents many cars next to the Miami International Airport. The host of this location should be banned from dealing with TURO’s customers given that he only attempts to scam them for his own benefit. I want an immediate answer from TURO.

    The host, Felipe **, in Los Angeles falsely claimed I damaged her KIA vehicle. She didn't even take the photos in front of me before and after. It was not in front of me. She knew this was my first time using Turo, so I was apt to not understanding the process, and making mistakes. She was taking advantage of me. I was contacted by Turo for a damage claim that's being processed. When I called back, they said if the damage is accepted, they can take the funds from my card. I was also told by a man (who spoke poor english and interrupted me) that there was no manager or supervisor on staff. Overall, very sketchy company.

    Pro: I happened to rent a car from a great owner - the car was in great condition and the owner was responsive and friendly. Con: I initially rented the car for 4 days. Unfortunately I only needed one more hour on top of these 4 days but the app only allows extending the trip by an entire day, although the return time was 9pm and the car was free for the rest of the night. An entire day of extension seems like a big price to pay in this situation so it would be nice to have cheaper extension options.

    I could give zero stars if I could. I want to warn anyone who is interested in renting a car from this service that it's RISKY. After inputting my card information (not even confirming a booking), their software battered my bank account with fraudulent charges of over $3,000 - leaving me with a frozen account, disputed charges, no debit card (during Christmas!!), and no car rental. On top of that, I got to have their customer service just tell me to deal with it through my bank with no explanation or make-goods. Didn't even offer to file the bug to their developers. Just wow.

    Here's the full story: I was interested in booking a cool car for my husband's birthday - I found a BMW for $200ish total - then at checkout had my card information rejected, so I did not finish booking. I then got a call from my bank's fraud service notifying me that 3 transactions of $1,030 were charged from Turo - with more coming through that they stopped. I then had to work with the bank to remove the charges, cancel my primary card (weeks before Christmas AND with my husband's birthday this weekend), and get a replacement. That in itself is a massive inconvenience and I was totally baffled on why and how those charges were even initiated.

    After jumping through hoops I finally found Turo's customer support chat (they don't have humans on the phone). I showed them screenshots of the $3,000 + back to back bank transactions, the $200 rental that I didn't even book, and was trying to figure out why this happened and if it's happening to other customers - or if there was a deposit from the fine print or something. But no, their service rep just gave me zero information and offered me pointless tips to check my card information at checkout, to make sure it's right and confirmed I didn't book the car (like what??), and also that I should talk to my bank to get the charges reversed.

    I asked if they can do anything to make this right and was answered with "Sorry we don't have any promotions at this time". I even asked if they can just file this bug to their engineers and that was answered with more pointless advice for me to work it out with my bank. Ridiculous!!! If I didn't have a good fraud service enabled on my account I would've been cleaned out. They have major issues to fix on this platform. Do not enter your information on this service, and don't expect any help when something goes wrong.

    I was a host. Once. I choose the highest amount of insurance I could, but then when my guest booked my car, I had noticed it had moved itself down one tier, so I moved it back up to full coverage, and though all was ok. My FIRST guest got in an accident, and it took me 4 days to get Turo to get my car back to me. Then I had to find a mechanic to fix a significant collision, and because of the pandemic, no one could for 2 weeks. So I got it to the mechanic in two weeks, then I got a estimate from Turo for $1900.00. My garage laughed, and said it would be at least double that. And it was.

    Turo did pay the garage through me, but now I owe a $250.00 deductible, though I absolutely know I choose the highest tier of insurance, twice in fact. Then, you are supposed to get a $30 driving fee for loss of income, but whomever made the claim, said it would take 4 days to fix. 4 days! I've been without my car for over a month. And I'll maybe get $120 because the idiot who did the claim said it would take 4 days to fix! In a pandemic. So now I'm out a month without a car, have to pay $250 deductible, and only get $120. (maybe, I haven't seen anything yet) Now my car has been in an accident, it depreciating in value. Never, ever, ever again. Turo is great until there is an issue, then you get completely screwed.

    I do not recommend anyone to rent from this website at all. I purchased a vehicle for six days. When I got to the dealership I discovered that I was only supposed to pay $262 with Toro pool $569 out of my account. Not only did they take the 569 out of the account but the dealership that I went to the young lady was very disrespectful. She was out of line. She belittled me, cursed me out and will not even turn over the car. When I got in contact with Toro total told me that they cannot refund me my money because I am canceling the trip when the woman at the dealership would not even turn over the car. I do not recommend anyone to use this website to rent a vehicle - not at all. Now I have to bring them to court to get my money back.

    My friend was trying to unlock his account on Turo, everything was okay until they asked me to send my Driver License, selfie with Myself holding my driver license, my credit card statement, selfie with Myself holding that freaking statement in my hands.     I had to cancel a reservation and they told me they issued a refund. 11 business days later I still don’t have the refund. I’ve tried to contact customer service twice. They make it almost completely impossible to get hold of a person. And if you do get a hold of a person they want to send you to a chat room with somebody.     This is my third Turo experience and the previous 2 were wonderful. However, this one was terrible. I booked a the vehicle about 6 weeks before my trip to Austin Tx. When I booked it I clicked the location "AIRPORT" to begin my search. On the next page it confirmed the "AIRPORT" and then I put in my dates. I then searched for the vehicle. I chose one I liked and paid immediately. (NOT REFUNDED)!!!! This is how the last two trip had started also. My flight arrived and I went to the ground transportation area and pulled up my instructions to find the car. To my dismay, the vehicle WAS NOT at the "AIRPORT". It was 30 miles away and my instructions were to pick it up there. I was shocked!! The previous Turo experiences had left instructions on which stall I could find the vehicle and how to obtain the keys.

    I called Turo and they said I should have checked the address better. Why should I have to check the address when I book the car for the "AIRPORT". When I contacted the owner of the vehicle to see what we could do, he stated, "Sorry, you were not there at the correct time to pick up the car, therefor you "no showed". Call Turo to sort it out. I spent much of my two day trip on the phone arguing with Turo just to be left with, "we will escalate this call and my manager will call you back". It has been 4 days and I have yet to hear a word. In the end I paid for a vehicle I never got to use, had to spend time with all my family in the airport finding a new rental car, and lost hours trying to resolve this issue. WITH NO RESPONSE!

    I used the app to rent a SUV. After returning the car they charged me $150 for a couple hairs and $50 for water in the cupholder. I would avoid using this app at all costs.     Ok when I first did business with Turo everything was handled professionally I was happy with the app and the way they did business. But when I found out every time I rent a car it charge me a high trip fee plus deposit. I use my bank account to book a car so I felt like why am I getting charged so much just to rent a car. Sometimes my trip fee will cost close to how much the car was rented for. Then my friend would rent a car and it wouldn't charge him the high trip fee nor deposit. I felt like that was unfair. So when I contacted custom service by phone they sent me a link to chat with support. I always felt like that was crap when they can just talk to me over the phone about the situation.

    When I chat they give me this long conversation about my confirming my identity. They asked me to upload a picture of me holding my Driver License and send a copy of every credit or debit card I used to purchase the cars I rented in the past. I couldn't find one of my cash app cards so they said I need to upload it or they couldn't verify me. Keep in mind I uploaded 2 bank cards and a credit card, (Wellsfargo, Capital One, and Premier credit card) plus my drivers license but still it wasn't enough for them.

    ANGELA ** (Turo Support) sent me a email saying: Your account has been closed. Please remember the following effects of closing your account: You will no longer be able to book trips or list your car on Turo. Your vehicle listing(s) have been deleted. Any information associated with your account will not be publicly viewable on our website and apps. Any booked or pending trips have been cancelled. You will no longer be able to login to your account. You are still financially responsible for any fees, claims, or reimbursements related to your past or pending trips.

    Plus they sent an email saying the reason why they banned me because they couldn't verify my identity. Plus my driving record was not good. To make a long truth short they played me out my time and my money. They could have told me that from the beginning and I would have spent my money somewhere else instead with them. I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau.

    Do NOT make an account with Turo. Do not put up any personal information on your account. It is a scam. I had used Turo once, over a year ago, the experience was fine, however a year later, my account got hacked and Turo has done nothing to help me out. The first time my I was charged $800USD, they refunded my the money, minus the exchange rate, therefore still lost out on $100.

    They told me they would completely deactivate my account, get rid of any of my personal information, including banking information, so the next time I was to use the app, I would be creating a new account altogether. Yet, 2 months after that experience, the same account information had been used and charged $150USD to my account. And now, since my account has been compromised, their "team" doesn't know where to start or how to figure out how to actually help me here. Their trust & safety team is absouletly useless, they don't get back to you for over a week at a time and when they do, are of no help.

    When you call Turo customer service, they had random people speaking to you with no information that will actually help you. They don't have a real customer service team therefore could care less about what you've been experiencing. I am now out about $250, and Turo has done nothing to help me get this sorted. No one to call, and no one to email. Completely disappointed, and now I am left having to change all my banking information since the company itself doesn't seem to care about unauthorized account activity.

    Back In January 2020 a tourists, who rent my car on Turo, Had a bad accident and total lost my car. I was paying full cover insurance through Turo.     The host left me a bad review and lied in it. I contacted him, nothing. Then I contacted Turo customer service and no help either. The windshield is NOT CRACKED, it’s a bug smeared on the windshield with the wipers, it has the perfect trajectory of the blade.     I started hosting on a Turo less than a month ago. Everything was going well up until the first damage claim on the third rental. The vehicle was returned and pictures were taken accordingly based on what the app requires. Unfortunately it rains a lot and frequently, so I wasn’t able to clean the car immediately. A few days later when it stopped raining, I noticed two things. First the stains on the leather seats were not coming out. Also discovered the rim had been damaged likely from hitting a curb. I contacted Turo in regard to the permanent stains on the seats, to determine how to proceed with a cleaning fee. I was advised that since it was just over 36 hours later, there was nothing I could do. Even though there had been proper pictures of both the seats before and after the trip.

    It’s unfortunate as instead of trying to get the stains out first by a normal cleaning process, Turo requires that you report and charge them immediately? Clearly being nice to the customer and trying to clean first is not the process they want, poor customer service in my opinion. Next problem was with the rim and after noticing it, I immediately reported it to Turo. This also had clear pictures that were uploaded before after the trip immediately. Unfortunately I didn’t notice the damage immediately since the vehicle was dirty and couldn’t clean it due to the pouring rain. I then receive a call from Turo advising that damage claims need to be reported within 24 hours. I wasn’t aware of this either since they don’t explicitly tell this to you during the setup process.

    Unfortunately I found this out too late as well. Also their own website says within 24 hours or may not be approved, isn’t that implying they still process over 24 hour claims? Second the lady who spoke with me even confirmed the damage was done by the renter and yet still doesn’t process the claim? Basically the vandalism and destruction of my property is confirmed and they still don’t care. I would not rent my vehicle on Turo or rent a vehicle on Turo.

    Hi my name is Jae-Analyn **. I reserved a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport from a host on Turo from 8 AM on August 7, 2020 until 11 PM on August 9, 2020. The reservation covered 600 miles. I initially started the car at 77,940. The car had an initial maintenance check displayed on dashboard at initial pickup. I thought it was just because it may not have been reset. I took the car about 200 miles that day and it had trouble shifting but nothing major. The next day I took it about another 175 miles but the RPM began to rise several times trying to get to 45 MPH. On Sunday August 9, 2020, I planned to take the car back as I was worried about the issues from the day prior. I left the house I was staying at 2:30 PM. The RPM began to rise to 4 at a speed of 45 MPH.

    I pulled over and turned the car off and waited for the car to cool down. I started the car and about 10 miles later I reached a light where the car refused to drive. I turned the car off and restarted to take it to a gas station near Route 87 and Hunt Highway to be towed. I lost my last day’s worth on the rental because of these issues. I was told I could get a credit for $50 toward the cost of an Uber, Taxi or Lyft. Due to the distance between my destination, that would not have covered the cost. I had to push back reservations for a family dinner and had to sit and wait in the heat. I proceeded to look at reviews on the host and found a review on the same car having similar issues and needing towed previously. Therefore the seller knew about such issues and still rented the car out.

    I am very disappointed because transmission issues can leave you in very bad predicaments. The rental cars should be able to pass a certain inspection before being rented out. I used a little less than 400 miles, therefore I did not get to use the miles or days I paid for. I am upset that I was not made aware that this car has had prior issues. The owner did not offer me any compensation or apologize for my troubles.

    My car was impounded for 30 days TWICE! I am a Turo host and I have had my cars impounded twice, the delays of impounding were 30 days. Turo refused to charge the guests for the time the cars were impounded because it is not in their policy to charge guest when they have hosts' cars impounded by the police. I was therefore stuck with no car for those times, and I still had car payments to make (1400$ per month), paying the impound fees, dealing with the police, etc. Ultimately, Turo never called back because customer service cannot deal with this sort of thing and the request must be 'escalate' and it is not in Turo's policy to charge guests for the days the car is impounded.

    I use Turo as an alternative to rental companies, but in my experience, it doesn't not entirely do much better than them. What I like: straightforward pricing and the ability to choose from many more interesting cars. What I do not like is that hosts can cancel and they can do so at nearly the last minute. This has happened to me on multiple occasions now and it is very stressful. I was about to board my flight to my destination where the Turo was booked and I got notification that my trip was cancelled. What made this worse was Turo then suggested alternate rides and all of them were more money. In this moment, Turo *should* have immediately waived any price differential, but they did not. I had to call and spend 20 minutes or so with a less-than-ideal customer service rep.

    Lastly, the ride I ended up with was marketed as an airport pickup vehicle, but the lot it was in was actually 1 mile away without any transportation options to reach it. Upon arriving I had to wait for the host to respond to remotely unlock. The whole process was from the cancelled ride to the check-in procedure was entirely stressful. I will use Turo again because I like getting to check out interesting rides when I travel, but I will certainly think about booking with a traditional rental agency in future.

The only reason I checked 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel like the final rental price for a car is pretty ridiculous that they have to double up on the price it initially shows!     We always love using Turo instead of typical car rental companies. It is a lot easier, you have more flexibility, and a lot cooler vehicles to pick from. Need more presence in Kalispell, Montana though! There weren’t as many choices as in other parts of US. I believe the demand is there just maybe people in the area aren’t aware of Turo as other parts of the country.

    Disclaimer: I'm a skeptic. I'm sure people have good experiences but Turo doesn't seem right for me and here's why. How you do one thing is how you do everything. Early July, I decide I will try to rent a truck from turo to help move a couple big objects. I knew I needed it a couple weeks out and figured I'd be able to finish the booking the day I signed up. That wasn't the case. After multiple attempts to check out, I eventually find out somehow that my account needs to go through a verification process (checkout just kept saying there was an error). This verification is more than just confirm your email, but it's actually uploading documents. I wanted to call to understand what was needed but after lots of digging through turo webpages and calling a number, I get sent with a text to a link to a chat with a agent.

    Red flag #1: you can't actually talk to them. It's all chat based. So I'm on a chat and I am told I need to email 2 photos: one of just my license showing the last 4 numbers as well as one of me holding my license next to my face. Red flag #2: after redacting the license numbers in the photo of me and the license, I am told they need to see all the numbers (now it's not just the 4 like the first photo). Okay, fine. gets emailed anyways.

    I made sure while I was on the chat they confirmed they received the photos properly. It is email after all, not exactly the most secure form of uploading. But what do I know, it's not like my job is working with secure data. (It is) so! Documents are uploaded, ready to go right? Let's get this truck! No. I keep logging in every couple days to see if my account has been approved to drive. Still nothing. THREE WEEKS go by (another red flag?), finally I get another email from support now asking to send "Please attach non-scanned photos directly to this email. Send clear, close-up photos of: The payment card(s) ending in #### that you have uploaded on Turo. Please note that the last 4 digits, the expiration date, the name, and all four corners of the card(s) need to be visible. See an example here."

    Red flag #4: now you need a photo of my credit card? At this point, even if I still wanted to have rented that truck, it's too late based on when I needed it. I can't imagine someone who wanted to rent a car in an area they didn't live in. Conclusion: 2 stars. 1 star added giving Turo the benefit of the doubt, after all, they've been around for 10 years now apparently with no one else raising hell about this process.

    But never have I had such an archaic form of verification. Emailing photos? 3+ weeks to verify me? What is this? The NSA? Why Turo can't just match names on license to name on credit card is beyond me. And topping it all off, I don't want to deal with a chat based customer service when something really goes wrong. Remember this was just me trying to get my account approved. I'm no felon. Never have I had to jump through so many hoops just to spend money.

    Imagine what it would be like if I need to get in touch with them regarding something more serious like a bad rental or needing a refund or anything where the money is leaving their bank account going into yours. I have since asked for confirmation that photos have been deleted off their servers and I closed my account. Thanks turo, but not for me.

But I was extremely bothered by the way the last Host carries his business on our great platform!     There is whole segment of people who used to target Enterprise and now they rent from Turo hosts and never return your vehicle. They rent your 2020 Range Rover, and never come back. You certainly can't call no one on turo, and most their communication is done through chatline through countries where they don't even speak English so it's hard to communicate. Then after 4 hours of anguish they tell you to go fill up paperwork with police and wait to see what happens. Turo does absolutely nothing about it, telling you to call the renter again, and it is embezzlement not grand theft, so no one can even press any charges even if you are lucky and your car is found.

    Most of the time there will be chopped leftover parts here and there of course, but in my case, guy kept the car for 2 month and did drugs, ate and defecated in my new car. Of course they don't pay for any of this, or the condition the vehicle is, calling it wear and tear. And the fact that they withhold 40% of my earnings for premium insurance, when it came to pay out for wear and tear and lost earnings, through technicality it came to $75 so all the guarantees were lies.

    Understand that when you rent a car in Turo, you are renting from private individual and will have to deal with their professionalism as well as the fact that people will lie to you, blame you for different things that have already been there, and at the end of the day when fees are added it’s the same price as rental companies.     Turo used to be good when they first started a few years ago, unfortunately not anymore!! All that they care about now is your money, not your safety or your comfort, or even your car. They added a lot of unavoidable fees. If your car in an accident and Turo was not convinced to pay you, which is most the cases, I had a few incidents they tried to push back on me and run away with not paying. You may get up to a $2000 fee from Turo that your claim is not legit. Means your car is damaged and you are worried now that Turo may charge you money on top of that. They tell you when you signup with their insurance you will get a replacement car if your car was in an accident, that is not true. They only give you $300 credit to rent from their website, even if your car takes two months to fix. They offer loss of hosting income, that is also a trick, they count how much you made the whole year divided by the months and pay you jokes.

    The problem with Turo anyone can take your car even with a fake ID, Turo they don't check people's identity, and they don't verify VIN numbers. Try to list a rebuilt car with Turo, you will easily get it to rent the second day because Turo they don't care about people's safety. Be careful a lot of hidden tricks, I been using Turo for three years and finally, I took all my cars off. It's not worth it anymore. I can go on and on and on... Long story short, you are on your own here, and if you don't care about your car and got a lot of time to waste with no income, go for it. Turo will not care about you, your safety, or your car. You will have a totaled car and not one to talk to on the phone, you will submit a claim on their phone app and it takes days before they get back to you.
