It was a very good experience - excellent communication that made the whole process extremely simple. Both the car pickup and dropoff were very easy. As well, the car itself was clean and in very good shape and of course the price was excellent.

We rented a car in Myrtle Beach last week to attend our Son's Spring Training. This was our first and last time using Turo. We picked up a cute Alfa Romero. When we got the car it smelled heavily of weed and deodorizer to cover the smell. We kind of laughed about it and just dealt with it as we were only using the car to drive to games close by. I suppose we were a bit naïve and should have complained. The car was SPOTTLESS other than the smell so it had obviously been cleaned and deodorized to cover the odor.

Seth was an incredible host- He went so far above and beyond to make our trip easy and comfortable. It was my first time using Turo, and he walked me through every step. Turo is the best - I’ll never go back to car rentals through a company.

Great car and the host Karim was awesome. I’ll definitely booked him again if available. The car was nice and clean and we enjoyed our trip and will look into using his service again on our next trip soon. Pick up was close and convenient for me.

This was our first time using Turo for our trip to Hawaii, Maui, to be exact, and not only did we find the perfect car to suit our needs, the owner of the vehicle was incredibly responsive and kind. We had the car for 10 full days. The owner of the vehicle made plans to pick us up from the airport as well as drop us off and it was so much easier, less expensive and quicker than using a typical rental car company.

Kai was an awesome host! Everything went great without a hitch! Will definitely be renting from him again! Car was roomy and getting it and dropping off was so easy! And Turo was cheaper than renting from car rental spots!

I love the variety of cars. For my trip, I basically rent the car I was thinking about buying next year so not only did I get a car that I need for a week, it was essentially a weeklong test drive too.

The owner nagged about things about the end. The USB port didn't charge. The price wasn't any better than I could have gotten off of Priceline as a VIP with a discount code, etc. It was nice to try it out for one time to find out though...

The best experience I’ve had in a slingshot in a really long time. Host was amazing and I will most definitely will be renting again as soon as I can. Only thing I would suggest is putting the mileage for each ride higher. Other than that my ride and rental was perfect!!

When I see a legal price and that price is false then I get worried about your platform. Your platform has rules, these same rules has to apply for the consumer pure protection, and not false advertisement. Like yesterday would have rented a vehicle but because of a wide scale pricing difference I stopped process.

I happened upon Turo while trying to find a rental car company to rent a large enough SUV to take six adults and ski gear from the airport to ski resort. Nothing existed online for the bigger rental car companies. Turo was something I never heard of and I was skeptical at first. But after research and speaking with the owner on the chat, I felt more comfortable. After our rental experience, I will probably always use Turo from now on. The owner was very responsive and tended to any of our needs as we had a road closure and nearly missed our flight. He was very accommodating with the drop off process.

I would highly recommend everyone to go to Xscape rentals. The staff at Xscape rentals were great and friendly staff. They had awesome service. I will return back. Picking up and dropping off the car was very smooth and easy.

This was my first time using Turo. Everything went smooth. The app is very simple to Use. I like the fact that it gives me reminders to inspect the vehicle before and after the trip. As well as reminder letting me know its time to return the vehicle. I would definitely recommend this Service to my friends and family.

I currently live in NJ and I’m looking to relocate to Florida. My fiancé told me about Turo as an option to rent a car as opposed to going through the BIG commercial places. My experience from start to finish was flawless. My host Vitor was amazing!! He was very accommodating, very knowledgeable and helpful and didnt bat an eye when I needed to extend my trip by a day AND change the drop off location. From start to finish an amazing experience. I will definitely use the service again and hopefully Vitors **.

The car was as described and the owner was very prompt in responding to my messages. Picking up the car was very seamless and dropping it off was just as easy. We really appreciated the extra options of renting beach gear and surfboards.

Everything was great from the service of the app, selection and person. The car was in good running condition and the owner kept in contact to make sure everything was running good and to our standards. We really enjoyed the service.

Great experience. Top Journey our host was amazing to deal with. Great communication, super fast instructions and response time. Car was dropped off at the airport and I was told exactly where to pick it up. I was also granted access to the car electronically and I will see in my phone for the whole trip.

As far as the car, the convenience, and communication with"Willy" was all good. This was my first time using Turo! What I don't understand is the billing. What is the difference between trip price and trip cost? To me it looks like I am double charged. That was a lot of money for using the car eight hours.

My first Turo experience was very positive. My host (Martin) was remarkable and made the whole experience easy and convenient and I greatly appreciated the cost savings compared to what I would have paid in rental, fees and taxes had I rented from one of the traditional rental companies. I also enjoyed the fact that my Turo car already had SunPass installed so I did not have to wait in the long lines at the toll booths. I am already looking forward to my next Turo adventure.

I don't expect to go back to rental agencies if Turo keeps up their quality and cost matrix. Very strong app and covers pretty much everything that I could need or want. I hope the options overseas are similar to the US.

My first experience renting a Turo vehicle couldn’t have been more efficient and convenient. I picked up my Turo rental conveniently near the Gate, where I landed at DFW - the return of the vehicle was the same convenient, efficient, and very easy. Super satisfied with my Turo experience and Bernard, the car owner, was prompt and polite, not to mention, his car was immaculate.

Went to Las Vegas on a whim. We had a really nice day so we decided to rent a car. Whole process was easy and streamlined. Within an hour I had a great convertible ready to go. Vehicle was located in the garage next to our resort. Was able to walk over to the garage where the vehicle was cleaned, fueled, and ready to go. I snapped a few photos and was on the road! The experience using Turo was absolutely amazing, super easy and so convenient. I will never ever go with another car rental company as long as I live. The approval time is super quick, fast and the person we rented the car from responded within 20 minutes or less every time and also went out of his way to make it easy to make a few last minute adjustments. I really like this Volkswagen Taos. The airport drop off and pick up was also very convenient. The car was clean and it was well equipped for my usage. Hi, it was my first time using Turo, not impressed. The host switched the car on me at the last moment. The "new" car provided had a crack in the windshield that I don't think was street legal. I rented the car for less than 2 days. The host sent me numerous text messages about what to do about closing duties: vacuuming and car wash which "helps keep his prices low." After the Uber and all the clean up, which felt like cleaning up after someone else's mess, it makes me question that this service was worth all the trouble. Attached are photos of the car upon pick up.

When I booked the ride everything was fine, I returned the car on the return date nice and neat. Out of nowhere I received a charge from the host for 272.dollars for the car smelling like smoke, which is a bold face lie because I DON'T SMOKE AT ALL, I disputed the request successfully and I did that. I could no longer log in, and I very disappointed because I love the app and now can't use it because the host tried to scam me and I got the short end of the stick, if there's anything you guys can do to help that would be great.

I used Turo while in Oahu, it was the most convenient setup for a mom traveling with kids. The car was dropped off and picked up from our hotel. The car was clean and ready to explore the island. I loved the messaging feature as well, I was able to ask for an earlier pick up since we finished early.

Our first Turo Jeep renter, Gary **, was a no show despite numerous phone calls and text messages. He put us two days behind schedule. Jennifer ** stepped up to the plate with an amazing, beautiful Gladiator! We were proud to drive it to Colorado and back and got many compliments. The Gladiator was spotless, everything worked, and Jennifer made pick up and drop off easy and convenient. Totally great experience.

The car was beautiful, but the has tires where the wire was hanging out which I could not see. I had a blow out that almost cost, with no apology. It was only 1 tires see attach, they tried to charge me for two tires, but when I disputed and showed pictures, and they could not hit my pockets for that. They came back stating I was smoking when I was not. I truly feel by me not loading the picture up on how I returned the car. The people at the pick up office put cigarette ashes on the rug as if it came from me them came and charged me 300.00. They loaded pictures that was not the same care see pictures do not rent from Carson Lexus is 2021 tag 8ULS206 California they will rip you off. Be the judge it those rugs are for the same care.

It’s simple to understand the app and find multiple cars available for a variety of prices within a certain radius. The person I rented my first car from was kind and proactive and made me feel at ease. Pickup and drop-off went off without a hitch. I will definitely be using Turo again!

I enjoyed driving Misty’s Jeep Cherokee trail hawk and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a wonderful Montana experience. It handled the snow amazingly. Misty dropped off and picked up the Jeep at the airport and was a pleasure to talk to.

There should be more details around the charges. I could see that there was a overage mileage fee, but was not expecting a charge at the end. I thought that was what the other charges covered. The car was good, but instructions and fee structure was vague.

We had a great trip. All information was relayed accurately. Car was in good driving condition. We were surprised to find that this car did not have power windows or door locks. The pick up all the way through to the drop off was seamless and great communication from our host but highly recommend this as a cost savings vs traditional rental car companies. Turo was really easy. They had trouble with the car I first picked. They let me know and set up a different car. Lots of cars to choose from. They met us at a location close to where we were. Car was clean ready and on time.

Overall experience with the rental car was great. Great renter, good communication, car and pick up and drop off process was great. However using the Turo app/website to search and book was a bit frustrating. Estimated costs are a bit miss leading until you go to actually book and then about $100 worth of fees come out of no where. Tax, Turo fee, airport fee, are not mentioned until the last step. Turo will also not let you search for another car for the same time period once you book. I get not wanting the hassle to cancel an existing reservation since you prepay for the rental (no idea if the fees are refundable) but if another rental option shows up due to a cancellation or lowered price by a renter or change in type of car that is needed, you should be able to still search.

I've used Turo twice now with the same Turo Host. His name is Ryan R and he's been awesome to work with. He's professional, responsive and really cares about my satisfaction. Turo taught him well as the cars are immaculate inside and out. The 2 vehicles I've rented were Mitsubishi Lancer 2012 and the Toyota Prius c 2012. Also, Turo made it very easy to register and validate my personal info. Thanks again everyone!

Great service, minimal wait time. Vehicle was as described. Only complaint was exterior cleanliness could have been improved, rims were very dirty and driving a Mercedes that is not cool. The host and shuttle driver were awesome. Will use again!

Our Turo in Maui was seamlessly delivered, clean and new. The host was delivered his vehicle, and await our arrival. The food trucks that he recommended were excellent. In summary, an efficient, friendly and informative Turo. I would use this Turo again.

The car ended up breaking down or did not feel safe to drive that far so I let the owner of the car know. He told me to turn the car back in. I turned the car in. Instead of getting put into another car they charged me for that day $56 and then put the rest of the money back onto my car that will get there and 3 to 5 business days which I still have not received.

There could be better instructions for adding more than one driver. When trying to talk to someone you get a robot. I needed more specific guidance and it was not easy to finally get a person to communicate with. I will say when I finally did have a chat with someone, it did help me out. But this was after I already picked up the car. My host was wonderful. And my vehicle was great too. I would definitely use Turo again.

Finding a car and booking it was simple enough. There should be more options as far as insurance and the trip fee should have more transparency. But as far as insurance goes. I feel we should have the option to use our own if we have renters insurance or no owners insurance.

My host Phillip was the best, he was there if you needed him. Wasn’t any problem to extend the rental, quick response. I would rent from Phillip again. The Jeep that I rented was in very good shape and very well kept up with and well maintained.

The communication to pick up and deliver was excellent. The ability to text was good for getting quick responses. Definitely would use them again!

The car was beautiful, but due to an oil leak after 15 miles, I had to return the car early. The host was reluctant to come pick it up, but after numerous pictures and phone calls and texts. He finally came and realized that my concern was correct. He took the car and I had to clean up the oil spill. It was a very frustrating and disappointing experience for me with Turo. I've been trying to get resolution / refund for over one month,. But no reply or help from Turo. Finally, I have to give up. Please improve Turo customer support. Needed to rent a vehicle for a trip to Texas. Rental companies were charging over $100 a day for anything bigger than a compact car. Checked Turo and was able to rent a new Toyota 4Runner for much cheaper. The car was ready and waiting when I landed at the airport. No paperwork to fill out since everything is done through the app. Will use again in the future.

The car was in good shape, it was delivered promptly and picked up promptly at the airport which was very convenient. Landon and TURO’s website communicated with clear instructions.

I was sent pictures of car damage after I dropped off the car. I never had any damage caused by me. No one in person ever reviewed the proposed damages (pictures like a scratch under the bumper, not visible if looking at the car, needed to get a camera under the area). I think they get away with this all the time and charge people for damage not done by the renter. They take pictures which could have been damage from ages ago, the car had 100,000 miles on it. They charged me over $870 - be aware that they have these hidden charges and are hard to dispute.

The car was good and clean. My only negative comment was the owner was not a very good communicator. For example, we left a message asking how to hook up our phone with his car system and never received a call back. Also, we thought we left something in the car and left a message asking if he found what we had lost. We have yet to hear from him. Nice guy, nice car but no so good in communicating.

The host is trying to make me pay for the windshield that a rock hit during my trip. The windshield already had one crack but now she wants to replace it and make me pay. I don’t want to submit it to Turo because I don’t want to pay a fee. Never using Turo again unless this gets resolved. Will also share with friends/family.

I rented from hyler which was by far perfect even the price, as far as the trip fee I don't feel a trip fee should be added to each day. I rented for 2 days and the fee was each day. Then wanted to extend and still each day added. Turo wanted a trip fee for both days (have been a trip fee for 5 days per say should be one flat rate).

I rented a Porsche Boxster convertible in Las Vegas from Jason. He delivered that care right to the door of our hotel. The car was perfect for the weekend as was as described. At the end of the period Jason picked it up from us in front of the hotel. It was our first experience with Turo and everything went very well. We would donut again!

I’m not very pleased with the damage claim process. I’ve issued payment to the host for windshield replacement and I still received an invoice requesting to pay what I have already paid for the windshield repairs. The host has uploaded the invoice as well along with docs and receipts showing payment was issued. The host has also requested for it to be removed.

My rental broke down while my son and I were out of town for his baseball tournament. Horrible experience through and through. Car broke down and I had used half a tank of gas. Although contractually I did not need to fill tank up due to the car breaking down I still offered to pay cash for the gas because I do not believe in any freebies and I pay for what I owe. Was super stressful trying to get Turo to help and they didn't, had to take Uber to get son to his game and take another Uber to the airport to get a rental from enterprise. Ended up missing game due to trying to get another car as we still had a weekend full of game. Turo should have just left it alone but instead starts emailing me telling me they could suspend my account or charge me fees because I was trying to operate in the “grey market”. Total bull, unprofessional, and no sense of customer service. I will never do business with Turo again and highly encourage you to give it a second thought using them.
