First time using Turo. Very impressed. Ease of use was nice surprise. Vehicle was clean and easily accessible. Owners communication was great. Have recommended to several friends. Will definitely be my first choice when time to rent another vehicle. So much better than dealing with an airport rental car counter.

The host is very nice and helpful. I will book again next time. The car is so clean and nice. Easy to talk to the host and the distance is not far from my house. Actually I want to book for the second one next month. For sure I will use his car again.

Everything about the rental was awesome - vehicle clean and just as described/owners-hosts were so friendly on pick up and drop off - smooth - would use again in a minute!! Valdo and his wife are an asset to Turo!

Claudio was a great communicator and was very accommodating. He made our trip easy and stress-free. We were met at Arrivals with a booster seat for our 4 yo, and he met us at Departures at the end of our trip. I highly recommend Claudio and I would definitely use him again! Thank you!

I planned my entire trip around a specific vehicle and the original person I booked with canceled on me with less than 24 hours before my trip. I was left high and dry with literally zero help from customer service. I wasn't offered any sort of compensation and was left out in the cold to try to sort something out at the last second. I couldn't believe this is how your company operates. The second person I booked with was fine, the rental went exactly how it should have and I appreciate the help he gave me along the way.

My experience was above expectations. The car was delivered timely at a convenient location; bottles of water were provided, and I was able to return the car at a convenient location for me. Peter checked on us to make sure everything was fine with the car during our trip. I would highly recommended him.

Renting the car seemed simple. I did not understand what the times meant, and that someone would be waiting to hand me keys. I imagined a lockbox. I went an hour early because I didn't know when I would be free. This is how I use SpotHero. As a result, because I was 30 min late, my rental was cancelled, and then my rebooking was later than I was ready. Fortunately, Turo did use my money toward the next booking. The next booking went smoothly.

I rented this car so that I can bring my son to prom. I really enjoyed the car, really clean and smooth drive. When I had any questions reaching out to Stephanie was pleasant. She was very attentive and she even brought me my pictures that were left in the car.

My trip started out kind of messed up when we drove off out of the parking garage at the airport. We took the photos and sent them of exterior damage all over the vehicle and some interior photos. It was not until we were out in the daylight that we realized how disgustingly dirty our rental was. I connected with a wonderful agent, Connor, who helped us through the entire process of securing us a vehicle that meets their standards and returning the vehicle that was awful. We are beyond satisfied with the customer service and will for certain continue to use Turo in the future!

This was our first time using Turo while on a short vacation. Not only did we enjoy using the app, but the actual value and service from the person we rented from was exceptional. We will be repeat users. We haven’t stopped talking about the 2023 Corvette Stingray all week. Thank you for making a dream become a memory.

I rented a vehicle in Grand Junction for my first experience with Turo. The transaction went well. The car was exactly as represented and the gentleman I worked with was very kind to explain everything well since it was my first rental with Turo.

My use of Turo as a platform and dealing with customer service has been very good, and everyone was very helpful. However, it is annoying that I was not able to leave a review for the initial host I had for a 2019 Camaro who never responded to me nor Turo customer service. While the company and following host were very helpful, the lack of communication and inevitable cancelation by my initial host cost me 4 hours of my already limited vacation time.

A wonderful experience. A beautiful, clean car. Great customer service. Absolutely would do it all over again. Great app. I will never use contemporary car rentals again. I will only use Turo from now on. The host was absolutely accommodating and fabulous, and very easy to contact.

From the time we landed, Kwan was outstanding with the communications and logistics. The car was great and the airport pickup was outstanding. The drop off location and Uber to the airport was all handled perfectly. I've already recommended Kwan to all my friends and family members that travel frequently to the PHX area.

Vehicle was in great shape and very sporty and beautiful. However, the type of vehicle proved a bit difficult to handle and was rough to drive. A Jeep with knobby tires was not the best selection for me. I should have looked for something with a smoother ride for the narrow and winding roads, as well as for the rougher roads in the Northern New Mexico area.

My 1st experience with this company. I had arrived in Arizona. I texted to see where to go, no response, let him know I was at the baggage claim. Nothing. Went to the information she said they normally send location. Finally messaged and said in the 1st message! I had expected to walk out the airport, take a shuttle to get my car. Not expecting to go the extra mile walking taking the train cross a bus stop or tram which had homeless asking for money crossing street to get to the car. It smelled and looked liked just wiped down on my way back, left at same spot, more homeless this time. 1 guy bleeding on the bench I was. Horrified, it was just me and my 16-year-old daughter. So not good at all!!!

The service was awesome. The car was great. Clean. Everything was so nice and simple. It was first time using this service. Will be renting in September again. I'm sure will be awesome. Thanks very much. Will definitely recommend to others.

Very happy with our rental from Sarah of her 2023 Nissan Rogue. Vehicle was clean, runs well, and gets great gas mileage! The moonroof was a bonus and provided exceptional views as we drove through the mountains. Clean, reliable and a great host who was friendly and communicative. Car drive great and there was plenty of room. Inside and out the car was delivered to us very clean and we appreciated the phone car charger. We used the cruise control and the lane assist which were also helpful.

One word: AWFUL. Well let me back up- first experience was great. Second experience, PATHETIC, SCHEMATIC, UNCOMMUNICATIVE. Owner of vehicle claimed we broke a piece off her jeep top. We never had ONE issue with putting the top up and down, never had road noise, nothing was odd about it. The back window was already covered in this film and had been reported prior to our rental. Vehicle owner contacted us about the small clips that apparently had 'broken' off during our rental term but we never even saw them. Owner sent us a pic of them. We found them on a site and offered to send them to her but that wasn't good enough. She filed a claim with Turo and then the damages began to increase.

It made for a beautiful grandson weekend for a 7year old. We had a blast. Look at that smile on his face. The host was amazing. The car was awesome. Would use his car again. No problem. Everything went just perfect.

My host was very informative and easy to communicate. With this rental process was easier than going to a Hertz even so I was beyond impressed with the customer service and easy process. I will be definitely recommending Turo for future rentals.

While on our trip, we got pulled over for headlights not working properly. When the officer ran the vehicle, he told us that the car does not have insurance on the car at all. There was no proof of registration or insurance in the car when we got pulled over. There was a TX registration sticker in the window with an OK tag on the plate. The officer just gave us a warning. It was at that moment that our trip was ruined!!! The host was very rude after the car was returned in the same condition he gave it. Gas was put back to where it was when we picked up the car. I don't know how you screen your host but this guy Joe, slipped through. Very dissatisfied with our first time using TURO. WE WILL NOT BE USING TURO EVER AGAIN.

Rented car to pick up radio equip in Denver and take it to Fort Collins. Car ran great. Very clean inside and out.. All in all a very enjoyable experience. I would rent this car again... Also it was location was close to home here in fort collins.

I chose this car because of the price, reviews, no charge for delivery and no need to travel anywhere to get the car. Communicating was easy and very professional. The car was immaculate and ran well. We enjoyed it as we zipped around Southern Cali!

I have rented 2 cars and the first one was not clean and the second one was not clean. Both drove smooth and nice and both gave no problem driving. One needed an oil change and the other was hard to find simple volume settings but drove beautifully.

First time ever using Turo, the app is super simple and quick. Alex was incredible and his Maserati was amazing. He was so nice and flexible and explained everything. He takes great care of the car and it felt like new when driving. 10/10 experience.

Pick up went great, had the location put it in, and then drove right to it. Would have rather it been delivered but that is okay. The car rode great, good gas mileage and comfortable for long drives. Could have disclosed the fuel type in the description of the rental agreement though. The Car was clean and had all the features I could ask for and more! Loved it. I wrote a review for my experience with my host Bashar. My review was deleted. This is not a transparent professional platform. When I arrived to pick up my rental the glass was cracked on the passenger side. I was not informed by my host prior to me picking the vehicle up (Lamborghini) so I was really not satisfied after driving an hour to pick it up. The host informed me that he would return half of my rental fee, give me extra mileage, a free day rental on a future reservation on top of my $750 security deposit. He did not keep his word. He kept my security deposit and charged my credit card two more times in the amount of $179.38 and $1,374. I immediately put a block on my account then received a notification that he made another attempt to charge my card $1,338.00. After going through this experience, I know for sure that I’m not the only one who have dealt with this.

My experience was great! Everything went as planned for my daughter’s prom! My first time using the app and it was a great experience! Will use again in the future! The car was clean and neat and drove nice! Jermaine who rented his vehicle to me was nice and courteous!

Sandra's car is in perfect shape, including immaculately clean and well maintained. It performed above and beyond what I needed and I am thankful. We need more people like Sandra offering their vehicles for ride-share. She even drove me home for free.

My only comments are the following! Number one - I traveled with a handicapped person and she found it hard to get out of the shuttle. A stool to step onto would be very helpful as she had to use a cane. Another thing that might help, would be to have the local map available in the shuttles. We were on the Island of Kauai. It would have been so nice to be handed a map of the island. Other than that, my experience with Turo, was top notch! Zero complaints!

We had a wonderful time. Our car was perfect for our needs, and the gas mileage was amazing. The pick up and drop off were seamless, and we were very grateful to have a dependable car for our journey. We will go with Turo the next chance we have.

Bad behavior from the tenant, he used the empty space badly, with a text message, and the car was not, but the specifications. The full amount was requested and they responded to customer service and told me that, "You will be answered within 24 hours," and so far no response has been received.

I've used this service multiple times and each time has been pleasant and the individuals are professional. I find it easier than my local car renting spot because cars are either non-existent or already been booked. Cities of course have more options for vehicles, but Turo puts the power in your hands because there are cars all over the cities. I would like to see more people get cars in smaller cities to give people options.

Did a long term rental to drive my mom, aunt and brother on a two week adventure of a lifetime through the UK ferried over to Northern UK in Ireland. Then spent a week in Ireland tripping around, the car host checked in a couple times to make sure everything was going good and the vehicle was great. No problems. Drove 71 hrs in 16 days. Amazing memories were made!!!

This was the first time I used Turo and I was a little nervous but everything was super easy which I like, I couldn’t have asked for an easier experience. The host was so easygoing and professional. I rented an amazing and clean car. I even got it delivered to the house which made it even easier. Cheaper young driver fees which made it a steal. Highly recommend. I rented with Carmelo in St. Cloud. I even had a choice to use the Turo app to unlock the car.

It was very awkward navigating the app for the first time. Should give options to take photos at start of rental, including at a different time of day if picking up at night and defects not easily visible. I had to call support and the answers they gave weren't helpful. Needs to have a end trip button to return car earlier without requiring approval and commence closeout and end of rental photos.

Turo made it easy to pick up car at the phoenix airport. Host instructions were very detailed. Much easier process than a rental company with a wide selection of vehicles to fit fit anyone’s needs. I recommend Turo and plan on using it again.

Had a great first experience with this car. A little hesitant to rent but Sebastian responded right away and made things simple. I would definitely rent again when I’m in need of a vehicle. The car was clean and much more spacious than I thought. The added bonus was the gas mileage. To return the car was simple and efficient.

Pick up was contactless and easy. Van was clean, spacious and in good condition. Only issue is the key battery was low and would only work from close distance. Drop was contactless, fast and easy. I would recommend this vehicle to a friend due to the price and conveniency.

Host was great. Car was great. Easy pickup and drop off. The Turo "trip fees" were ridiculous!! 100% of rental on first booking, 42% of rental on second booking, with no reason to be. After the rental, insurance, and Turo fees the actual cost was triple what an agency would be. I would like to support this platform, but not at these absurd prices in fees.

I had a perfect experience with Turo. It couldn’t have been easier or gone smoother. The owner was communicative and friendly — and very punctual. He met us at the curb the minute we walked out of the airport and again when we returned the car. No waiting in lines or traveling to get to the car. The car was in excellent shape and met all expectations for performance. (I would recommend that no air freshener be used in the cars, as I am sensitive to perfume scents and imagine many others are too. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect.) I got a better car with less hassle than if I’d gone with a traditional rental company, and all for less money. I will always use Turo now and will definitely recommend it to my friends and family!

Flew from Denver to Panama City Florida. Needed the car to drive to Tallahassee. That is a two hour drive. Host took a photo of the gas gauge and sent me a message stating the vehicle is at the airport and only has a 1/4 tank. Not really what I needed before a two hour drive. Message was sent stating the vehicle was sanitized, but there was a chocolate stain on the passenger front seat that stained my daughter's shorts. She didn't see it before getting in. There was also sand in the floormats and trunk. Not sure how it was sanitized if it wasn't vacuum and the seat had a fresh chocolate stain. Host was prompt with the vehicle and messaging. The vehicle was mechanically sound. So no issues there.

I love it, so easy the host is so accommodating. I will never rent from a car rental agency again TURO. Totally way to go. I’m gave rented 4 times and plan on a 3 day at the end of next month. I have no worries of any issues. Worth the process.

Quick, no hassle at all, would recommend. Car was close to where I work so left mine at pickup point without having to Uber..Very clean and nice smelling. Tolls were along my route so even though I was trying to avoid they still popped up..Very convenient that car had ePass.

My most significant issue was the absolute insanity of the Roadside assistance team as well as some escalation part of Turo. I was told repeatedly that “the system “didn’t allow for a battery replacement. There was no code in the system for that”. The only solution I was offered was for the Roadside Assistance team to come and tow the car to Phoenix and provide a replacement car for me to drive in California but I could NOT drive it home to Phoenix. When I was finished using the car, they would send an Uber to drive me and my family back to Phoenix which is 822 miles.

Everything was so amazing. I seen baby farm animals. And rode through Amish town. I seen a guy walking behind his planter being pulled by a horse. School got out and we seen over 20 Amish buggy going home. It was so amazing to see everything. I loved the vehicle I chose. I will be back to book a trip to Raymond NH. Thank you to Tarah who helped me with everything.

Turo and its representatives have been superb with the customer service they provide. Although sometimes a tad hard to understand their English they truly attempt their hardest to get the issues resolved. I would definitely continue to utilize this platform and recommend it to anybody and everybody.

Rented a car. Had it delivered to our hotel. When done they picked up at our hotel. It was great and would do it again!! I would highly recommend using Turo to my friends. It’s very easy and you can pick a vehicle you would like.

Had to use Turo last minute because the rental I had set up that same day fell through. So Turo came in clutch when I really needed it. The whole process was easy and the person I rented from was amazing with great vibes and communication!

Car had an expired registration/inspection. Got disconnected from customer service several times, had to send pics to prove it and was up till 1am waiting for their tow truck. Then after issued a refund was charged again!

Easy registration process. Easy pick-up and return. The person I rented the car from was very helpful and explained a few things to me. TURO itself could be more timely about what you expect from the check-out process. I had already returned the car when I got TURO's return process email. It would be better to get everything about the process upfront.

I rented a Chevy Camaro convertible for my son's prom. The Host was very friendly and cordial. However, close to the date of using the car for my son's prom, he informed me that the air wasn't working. I didn't make a big deal out of it as it was really too late to search for another vehicle and the car is a convertible, which was the primary reason we selected his car. The date of the pickup I noticed minor damage to the car but I saw the same damage on the pictures on the website. I mentioned it to the host who said it was from a recent renter but didn't have time to repair it along with the air conditioner. As I mentioned the host was very friendly and I mistakenly let my guard down and didn't take any pictures of the vehicle upon picking it up. There was absolutely no damage done to the vehicle during my son's use of the car. Again, I should have taken pictures of the vehicle upon its return but did not. That was a big mistake.

The front bumper became unglued and started falling off after driving the car twice. I called the owner and he said that the previous renter of the vehicle hit something and he tried to fix it quickly before my reservation. The brakes either squeaked or would severely grind every single time I would break. UNSAFE. This entire trip should’ve been reimbursed.

Host Johnquil was informative and professional. It made the first Turo experience great for me. The pickup and dropoff was seamless even though it was 65 miles or so from where I reside. I would recommend this service to anyone looking for a professional experience and I would and will do it again in the future.

I reserved this SUV to use locally. It worked out very well. The owner is a kind person and easy to work with. I wasn't expecting the lights on the roof, but it worked as an added benefit. If you are in need of an SUV this one worked out well for us.

When we rented the car we shared with the owner that we would have 6 people and luggage. The car is a 7 seater, if you don’t have luggage. Upon arrival it was extremely difficult to get all of us and luggage into the car. The owner stated, I can get you an additional car but it is in Glasgow. Not a happy start to the trip. The mechanical condition of the car was less than optimal, the brakes were very worn.

This is a great service. Other than the fact my 18 year old had to be charge twice as much because of her age. She has to drive because I am legally blind. She has a perfect driving record since 14 years old. That should be taken into account.

My experience with Turo has been very positive. The customer response time is impressive. When I have a question or need to make minor adjustments it is not a problem. Or if I don't understand a feature in the vehicle the owners are quick to tell me what to do. One person left me a Starbucks GC and thanked me for my business and support.

Everything was good for this first time Turo user except when I picked the car up it was dark so if there was damage, I wouldn't have been able to document it and, I wasn't really informed about the picture taking until I was already gone on the shuttle to the airport on the way home. I guess maybe a bit more "how this works" tutorial would have been good.

I love that I was able to choose the exact car I would rent and I didn't have to deal with a pushy rep trying to get me to upgrade to something more expensive. The mile allowance was reasonable and the car was clean and ran very smoothly. Will use again.

My communication I had with my renter was superb. They went out of their way to respond to me right away, and provided great details on how to pick up the vehicle. Even when I had an issue regarding the drop off I was able to call them and they helped me right away!

My rental experience started out OK. But became a joke. Host did not leave a ticket to get out of the parking garage so I had to pay for a lost ticket. Only way to unlock car and get in was through the passenger side. Now I’m being billed two months later for parking fees that I believe the host is responsible for.

I used Turo to rent a Jeep Wrangler for a friend’s birthday. He likes Jeeps but in our area they’re not practical. To my delight one was available on Turo on short notice. However, this car did not meet the bare minimum of cleanliness. There were visible stains on the seats, grime on switches, and rolling papers and a prescription bag from Walgreens with receipt in the glove compartment. When was the last time this car was detailed, let alone cleaned!? I had to take time out of my schedule to do what is clearly the listers’ responsibility. It rained on our trip and the wipers were unacceptable. They barely cleared the windshield in the heavy rain and the car didn’t drive well either. To our dismay, we saw the service sticker and it was dangerously close to the service point.

My host was extremely flexible about the delivery and collection of the car. It came prepared with a full gas tank and was extremely clean. The whole process overall was just incredible. Just select your car, timing, and coverage. Pick it up, drive it around, and return it! As simple as that.

The vehicle is a 2014 so there are some issues that need addressing. The Jeep ride well and was excellent on gas. And the owner was absolutely wonderful to work with. If you are looking to rent a decent vehicle for a good price this would be the place.

I was surprised by the value I got for the price I paid. I rented a Mercedes for a similar cost that I'd get a Corolla through bigger rental companies. I liked that the pricing was straightforward. I enjoyed the ease of the process to rent and pick up the vehicle. Also, the amount paid for the rental was a bargain when compared to other rental companies. My issue is regarding the following points: The vehicle was dirty at time of pick up. Midway our trip we found out there was no registration card and the license plate had expired stickers. I had to refill the windshield wiper fluid. The van would shake a lot every time I would step in the brake at a speed above 55mph. There was a check engine light at the time of pick up. I don’t believe in the concept of “you get what you pay for, but in this case, it did apply”.

When a stranger is in a town, and things are not posted, they do not know they have tolls. They would gladly pay tolls had they known. But if they have no ideas of area using tolls, they don't know!!! And how do we find out about missed tolls? Well, Turo sends out a nasty, rude, threatening email and text telling you that you owe money and if you don't pay it in 1 day it can escalate. If not paid immediately we might never be able to rent from Turo again. If we don't pay within day, the host/car owner can escalate it to more fines. All over $4.50. Rude, threatening over $4.50.! Like we are criminals. Turo's attitude could very well be the reason I do not use them again. An email nicely stating we racked up tolls of 4.50.... maybe unknowingly... would have gone a long way more than the Turo threats.

Car was exactly as posted. Only thing I would have done differently was research better the layout of the airport for returning the car. Typically the rentals are near your terminal. But when you're dropping it off in economy parking, it's a little different. By no means was this any of my host's fault! She was great! Prompt and answered any questions when I needed them as this was my first time using this service

I’ve used Turo several times now and I absolutely love how easy and effortless the whole transaction is. Any issues are usually rectified immediately by customer service which is excellent. If I was forced to pick one issue that could stand improvement, it would be inconsistent pricing. From what I’ve seen it appears that pricing on vehicles can be all over the place so I often scowl for the best value. I wish there was more consistency, and maybe even a rating system placed on each vehicle as to a total value, kinda like Cargurus or something similar to make the market even more competitive and give the customer the absolute best value on car rentals the market could possibly offer!

I had a tire that kept losing air pressure. I called at 11:30 pm as this is when it went low the 3rd time in about 4 or 5 days. When I called the first time it went to voice mail. I called again and a person answered. I tried to explain that I needed the tire fixed or replaced as I had a tee time at 8:00 am the next day. Before I could get to the part about the tee time the person on the other end interrupted and said “ Why the ** are you calling so late”. Now this was the immediate assistance phone number. I called back again and was greeted with”I told to stop calling this ** number”. Then they hung up. I immediately called Turo customer service. After almost 2 hours on the phone with a number of people they swapped out the car in had for another one. Then they tried and did charge me for not filling the tank and it was only 1 light under full.

Overall good experience. This was our first time using Turo. On the day of our reservation, our Host notified us that the vehicle we reserved, was no longer available...claimed they had lost the key. They provided an alternative vehicle, however it was not in the best condition, so that was a bit disappointing. Besides that, everything else was good.

The vehicle, rented for three days, in Sparks, NV, performed splendidly, using relatively little gasoline between Sparks and Carson City, as well as around the latter. The owners were most gracious and made it easy for me to pick up and drop off the vehicle. They made sure that the RAV had a full tank of gas and was clean on the interior. A clean exterior would have been nice, but was not essential for my purposes.

Was really happy with Walter and his vehicle but not at all happy by how much Turo charge me. Practically double the rental. It was $300 a day and Turo raised $300 per day where I ended up paying 1500+ for the trip. Totally outrageous, closing account and deleting app after I get my deposit back

Do not ever rent from this company!!!! I rented a car and then get charged for damages that I didn't do. My drop off pictures show no damage, the car owner took pictures of "scratches" at a place other than where I dropped off the car. When I dropped it off it had a ton of pollen because I was told not to was it. In his pictures the car is clean so yeah doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that he washed his car, got scratches then dumped it on me. The investigation team is a joke. I am in talks with an attorney and will hit every social media platform to make sure people know of this scam.

I did pump gas to give it back and I was a little bit under the mark that was all but the owner Charged me $10 for inconvenience fee and $33 for gas!!! That's half of a gas tank!! I won’t be coming back to Turo anymore! I’d rather not get scammed by a big company!
